One of the reasons why I love Ifan's romance so much is that he's such an unhinged freak about the Godwoken the whole time, while also somehow keeping it in for a significant part of the game, yearning like all hell, but also, ALSO, the fact that the Godwoken is an unhinged freak about him back. In a lot of games, it feels like the protagonist is sometimes a bit aloof and too in control in romance, but DOS2 makes it clear that the Godwoken is absolutely not normal about Ifan. The narrator talks about how they give him hungry, longing looks, and how extremely hot they find him. Quite a few times it is also described what Ifan's scent is like, and you just know the reason for that is that the Godwoken steals a whiff of that man when they can. None of the romantic interactions they have is remotely chill. Including, finally, the bedroom scene where they just completely melt under his touch no matter how you RP (unless you decide to leave). The narrator tells us how wonderful it feels when he nuzzles against their neck, how it makes them blush, and so on, about them having absolute creature moments when he's near. Like, these two absolute freaks both hold their mutual feelings and desires back by their fingernails the whole time, until they finally do something about them, and then they get straight up insane about each other no matter where they are or whether they're alone. The other companions turn around for two seconds, only to find them making out like there's no tomorrow, AGAIN, probably wondering if they'll manage to keep their clothes on. And I'm so here for it.

Week 5: Conjuration - Tidal Wave

For week 5, I decided to draw Lohse from Divinity: Original Sin 2

In my game, Lohse was the elemental powerhouse that decimated our enemies with hellfire, lightning, and ice storms. So naturally, when I saw this spell in the conjuration table, I knew I had to draw her! Lohse's so sweet, and her story was lots of fun to watch unfold. She is absolutely wonderful and deserves the world. I loved that she got to have a badass lute solo standing over Adramahlihk's corpse!

Gods, I was not ready for Ifan's bedroom scene. I don't know what I expected, but... NOT. ALL. THAT. 🙊🙈 Not the whole process. It's been a while, but it really is now just permanently embedded in my brain.

It starts so sweet and awkward. At least, depending on your choices. (Though the more impatient route is also very much worth starting with. Look, I've replayed it the normal number of times, okay?)

Just having a little chat about all the enjoyable time spent together. Either way, it quickly evolves into the most delightful (and also horny) love confession I've ever heard in a video game. Or, well, anywhere.

💕 Peppered with some sweet and a bit wild intimacy in between, it makes for a steamy situation as it is. Before, Ifan came off as rather shy. The narrator mentions him blushing and acting a bit awkwardly quite a few times. Well, turns out the man is fucking feral and has been holding on by his fingernails the whole time, when all he can think about is the Godwoken, how much he loves them, and about railing them in a hundred different ways. This was the moment I thought, "I'll be replaying this game, armed with this knowledge, huh? Yeah, I will."

And don't get me started about the particularly naughty bits. Wait, too late, I've already started. Because HOLY HELL?!

This thing is very... interactive.

And...

This is just a very nice, clean, and polite way to say my girl can feel his huge throbbing-- (gets forcefully dragged off the platform)

Forgive me, I've just got a bit carried away. Get it? Carried away... ANYWAY.

As I said, INTERACTIVE. OF COURSE, SHE UNDRESSES HIM. THIS IS A GAME FOR TWO.

I feel completely normal about (gestures vaguely) all of this. (tea cup starts developing cracks in the grip of her hand) Among other things, the narrator also tells you what his scent is like, what he feels like, what he tastes like. You know, normal things.

And they even tell you exactly when...

(fruity gasp) OKAY! That's something they wrote in and had the narrator say. They had the poor man narrate all that and more.

They make sure to let me know that my girl is getting the banging of her life. Good for her. 🧁 Thanks, Larian, that's important to me. Tell me more.

We even get a dedicated climax button, among other things. You're not allowed to RP having a lame time. Sex with Ifan is canonically either good, very good, or extremely fucking good. The only option lacking from the selection is crying out his name.
