Would anyone in the Domplerverse watch Beavis & Butthead?

Definitely Oscar!

He was introduced to Beavis and Butthead as a teenager, probably from a friend of his. I’m unsure if he would be introduced to the original series or the reboot - but since the reboot could be easily found on streaming - I’ll go with that.

The antics of two stupid teenage boys was highly entertaining for Oscar, who was old enough to understand their crude humor and innuendos. Though he viewed the characters as entertainment and of course, never tried to copy them, he knew better than that. Despite this, being a fan of the show made his Papa Pim rather worried. As a parent, it’s just so jarring to see your kid finding such humor hilarious - Oscar will always be a baby in his eyes, so it came as a surprise that he knew what ‘Scoring’ meant in the context of the show.

Pim let him watch though, never one to police what his children can do ( unless it’s really bad )

Sometimes Oscar would want Daniella to watch with him and though she obliged, she wasn’t as interested as him. It made for a good sibling bonding activity though.

All the time I thank myself for taking the leap to comment on your art last summer, Santi, because otherwise I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to get to know such a cool person. I have had so much fun talking about OCs and analyzing Smiling Friends characters with you, as well as discovering new music and tv shows like 100 gecs and Invader Zim! Knowing you has truly broadened my horizons and I feel like I’ve learned a lot from you. I’m so excited to see what the coming year has in store!

Do you think Emily has ever seen Invader Zim lol

Oh my god - maybe if it was airing in her time, but she is born in the future and invader Zim is a long cancelled series already in our current year. Though if she ever had the opportunity to see it - if it’s still popular enough in the future to be recommended to her…I think she’d like it. For the gothic / dark aesthetic.

I honestly can’t figure out what Emily could’ve possibly grown up with cartoon wise bc I don’t really know what kids are watching these days ( if they watch any cartoons at all��all I see nowadays are iPad babies 😭)

I can tell you that Emily grew up with Bluey and The Wiggles when she was really really little, for obvious reasons. Aggressive Australian parenting from Pim haha
