For Atsumu, he's always been drawn to you—the quiet, pretty muse from unfortunately another class who never seemed to fall for his popular charm. And what's worst is that you weren't even doing anything to catch his attention. It was just a random Tuesday when you were introduced as a new student in Inarizaki, then went on with your day as a normal student like everyone would—and that?

That drove him crazy.

It was probably your reserved nature that felt refreshing to him since he's used to having a crowd of admirers around him. You weren't trying to stand out, be loud—you just always seemed like you had your own little world to be content with.

And he desperately wants to be a part of your life. But let's be real—he's probably not the type to immediately accept his feelings about you because this is genuinely the first time he's falling for someone, so with some ups and downs, denial, and winning a war with his own feelings—yep, he wanted you BAD.

So little by little, he would hang out with you during breaks, keep you company, and slowly become a part of your inner circle—you grew fond of him in your own quiet way. So with Valentines coming up, Atsumu decides it would be the perfect time to confess his undying love for you.

But of course this is an Inarizaki centered story, and it's not one without chaos.

"Yo, have you guys seen the new post from the student council?" The volleyball club were currently in the gym practicing as usual every after school times. Akagi, who was simply scrolling at his phone during break ends up with an interesting post from their student council's social media page regarding the event tomorrow. "The color-coded shirts? still haven't decided what I'm gonna wear to be honest." Aran replied, approaching Akagi to look at his phone, checking what each color meant. To celebrate Valentines, the student council announces a color-coded Valentine's event wherein students wear shirts that indicate their relationship status: Red meant taken, White meant single, Pink means friend-zoned, Black meant heartbroken, etc. Atsumu, who was already plotting his confession, grinned to himself. White it is, because, obviously, he's saving himself for you. So could you just imagine on a Valentines day morning, he's all excited walking at the school, ready to show off in front of you, and sees you in the hallway—

... wearing a red top.

I—what—When—WHO???? Osamu and Suna who was with him—seeing the devastated face on Atsumu bursts into laughter.

He turned to Osamu, aggressively whispering "WHEN THE HELL DID THIS HAPPEN???”

"She's taken? tough luck Miya." Suna says in between giggles.

You on the other hand who was just simply talking to a friend—doesn’t recognize the chaos happening behind you for wearing a red top.

“You never told me you were in a relationship?” Your friend offhandedly asks, but they were also internally panicking because they know about Atsumu’s plan.

You tilted your head in confusion, “huh? but I dont?”

“what? it’s red though.” your friend points at your top.

“so? don’t people wear red for valentines?”

You friend’s expression drops.

Atsumu spent the whole day sulking, even during practice. He messed up the easiest receives, screwed up his sets, and almost hit Suna on the head with his serve.

that damn red top, he’s never been this furious over a color, and what’s worst is that you looked good with that top too!

How come he had already lost without starting?

And how come he never knew you were already in a relationship? You never gave hints or said anything about being in a relationship—

“If I were you, I would’ve confessed already rather than sulking like that.” easier said than done Aran.

“She was wearing red, RED!” Atsumu dramatically exclaims as he drowns on his own sorrows.

“What did red mean again?” Ginjima asks.

“Taken.” Suna replied bluntly, making Atsumu hiss at the word.

“Never stood a chance huh?” Osamu grinned mockingly.

“SHUT YER TRAP SAMU.”

Kita could only facepalm at the situation, but he’s rather amused since this is the first time he’s seen Atsumu like this, “You know Atsumu, have you ever thought that maybe she just wore the color and discarding the meaning?”

Atsumu’s ears perked up, then Ginjima suddenly had a lightbulb over his head, “Oh yeahhh, it could mean like that too, there were a bunch of guys wearing black for fun earlier despite not being in a relationship.”

“Maybe try asking her about it then?” Akagi suggested.

I mean, it wouldn’t hurt to try.

Actually scrap that, it would.

That is until knocking was heard on the doors of the gym.

The team looks over to the source of the sound then sees—

You… with a small box.

“Uhm, pardon me but can I call for Atsumu?” You asked, peeking over to the doors.

Atsumu immediately RAN and was suddenly infront of you, looking… nervous?

“Did ya’ uh, need anything?” he asks, his voice crackling a little.

Then, you hold out the gift to him. “For you.”

Atsumu froze.

“Huh…?”

“Thanks for always keeping me company,” you say softly. “I know I’m not the easiest person to approach.”

Atsumu finally finds his voice. “Wait—so yer not datin’ anyone?”

You blink. “No, why?”

His brain short circuited. He points at your top, “But—THAT’S RED.”

“So?”

That’s when he realizes.

You didn’t know shit about the color-coded event.

His entire face lights up, and lets out the most dramatic sigh of relief. “Wearing red means taken stupid.” He says, flicking your forehead.

It was your turn to get struck by realization now.

No wonder everyone kept asking if you were in a relationship, and no WONDER everyone was wearing different colors for valentines.

Oh you feel fucking stupid.

You then immediately took your phone out, opening an app then searching for your school’s official account page.

You face drops seeing the png file on the very first post that appeared, no wonder why your friend had asked that odd question.

“I—didn’t know…” you muttered, embarrassed about the whole misunderstanding.

Atsumu only chuckled in response, laughing at your misery. “Yer’ killin me ya know that? I though I lost my chance before I even tried.”

You perked up. “You were trying?”

“Obviously.” He grinned.

You smiled warmly, feeling funny about the situation. “Try harder then.”

Atsumu had the brightest grin on his face, he ruffled your hair then gently took the gift from your hands. “Oh I definitely will.”

“P-D-A ALERT” Osamu suddenly shouted from the gym, surprising you and pissing off Atsumu.

“Boring as always.” James replied, rolling his eyes, “I swear I’ll go mental if I have to make another batch of Living Death. It’s so damn easy.”

You turn your head up towards him, a faux pout gracing your lips. “Awe poor potions genius, god forbid you have an easy class,”

“You know exactly what I mean, Miss Smartass.” James huffed amusedly, tugging gently on a loose strand of your hair.

“Hey-!”

“You’re so cute.” James chuckled, grinning as he continued to toy with the piece of your hair in his hand, an unabashed fondness in his expression.

“Enjoying it a little bit too much, Potter.” McGonagall replied, but there was no real anger behind her words.

“Awe, come on Professor. We weren’t even doing anything.” James grinned, turning his best puppy eyes on her.

McGonagall just huffed faintly, her expression fond. “Try to keep the pda to a minimum, would you?”

“Ah, but you see, Professor, then how would the world know how hopelessly in love I am with her?”

James was never one to be subtle, and every word that came out through his lips was filled with truth.

He was always very eager to prove to the entire world that you were his.

McGonagall let herself chuckle faintly, but did not falter in her sternness. “Yes yes, but do keep it to a minimum in the halls, hmm? Save the declarations of love for the privacy of the common room.”

“Of course, Minnie dearest. Anything for you.” James teased, removing his hand from your hip to give McGonagall a mock salute.

She rolled her eyes at that, looking somewhat exasperated, but her affection for the boy was still plain.

“Off with you the both of you.” McGonagall huffed finally, waving a hand at you both.

James flashed one last cheeky smile, before taking your hand in his.

“Come on, love. To the common room we go.” He spoke, before pulling you gently along the corridor.

You roll your eyes affectionately at James as you follow his lead, looking back over your shoulder to give a fleeting wave back to McGonagall. “Bye Professor!”

“Try not to look so happy, will you?” McGonagall huffed, though her expression was fond as she watched the two of you walk away, blinding smiles on your faces . God she had a soft spot for the two of you.

It truly was young love in its purest form.

And she’d be lying if she said she wasn’t endeared by every sight of it you so shamelessly displayed.

“You know, I’ve been thinking.” James spoke, swinging your hands in his as the two of you wandered down the corridor.

“Very funny, love.” James rolled his eyes, though a smile tugged at his lips.

“Anyway, I’ve been thinking.” He repeated. “You know that Hogsmeade trip we’re going on?”

You laugh shortly, tilting your head to the side with a small raise of your eyebrow. “Seriously? You’re gonna skip out on planning destruction so we can go on a date?”

“Aah, but it’s a date with you love.” He replied, lifting your hand up to his lips, “Besides, I’m sure the boys can cause chaos without me.”

He started to kiss your knuckles one by one, smiling against your skin.

A sharp laugh echoes across the courtyard, your laugh, right as McGonagall turns the corner, and she just barely catches the sight of James sweeping you off your feet through one of the alcoved windows to carry you back to the common room.

But it was almost heartbreakingly endearing.

How was she supposed to get mad at that?

The Power of Communication Media in To Be Hero X

SPOILERS ON TBHX!! This is just a speculation that will be continued or edited while moving forward of the series and it has the word count of ~1500. This is just for funsies, plus I am bored so don’t take anything to heart.

TLDR; Communication, especially Journalism, holds a lot in the world of TBHX, especially a lot of power because they’re the ones giving the information and news. However, they still can be manipulated by big companies and word of mouth by the people in such extremes.

Journalism is a medium that has been around in the centuries, it’s a medium to tell the events that happened on the day. It’s a way to give out the truth, keep the public knowledgeable on the events, or speak out. Many journalists have a code to be neutral, portray each news in a perspective of an unbiased manner rather than the one they have an opinion of. Though there are many categories of journalism, such as column and opinionated writing, that focuses on the journalist’s perspective instead. There’s many outlets of journalism: newspapers, magazines, TV and radio, Internet, news agencies, and the alternative media.

Journalism helps us shape our perspectives in multiple ways, especially on belief. Belief is a powerful tool that our world benefits from. An example are religions, if you keep an idea long enough of a higher being up there, it can result in billions of people believing in that concept for a millenia that affects more ways than the believers but a state as well. What more if the world was shaped by an actual belief system where it becomes real?

In the world of To Be Hero X (TBHX), that is apparent. Though it’s called Trust Value and Fear Value, we know that the world is shaped through belief itself. The stronger the belief is (Trust or Fear), the stronger the individual is with that belief, it’s basically a power up. That belief however is only held by the fans of the Hero, we see this with Episode 4 where Lin Ling or Nice’s fans didn’t want him to leave the Hero Tower.

Through the timeline, we know that it has been 41 years in Lin Ling's arc (while in E-Soul it has been 36 years) since the Commission was created, with the concept of heroes being created by the trust value was only 5 years before the commission started. It’s not a surprise on why there would be a Commission of sorts by keeping everyone in check.

In the trailers, one of the CEOs spoke on how superheroes should be monitored or be placed in strict management is backed up by how they want the system managed. I don’t want to get deeply political with just the implications of what the MG CEO said, “We can’t let heroes grow rampantly on the platform.”

There was always a power dynamic to the CEOs > Heroes > Civilians (Heroes and Civilians can be changed depending on the setting). To them, there’s always a need for ‘balance’ or a class system for the others to stay “down” like the rankings of the heroes. Sure, the ranks are controlled by the civilians and the fans, but who controls the heroes the most are the companies.

It could be pointing to X’s situation where the Commission could possibly feel threatened by the fact that X is a freelancer, it has been 2 years since being the Top hero, and his quote in one of the trailers was “It’s time to tell the truth.” What does that mean technically? It’s almost the same goal as the Enlighter trying to expose Nice, but this feels more global to tell the truth. Is it the truth about the companies? The world?

There’s 4 main hero companies: DOS, Mighty Glory, TREEMAN, and FOMO. When Lin Ling skyrocketed to the top with his identity to the public still being a nobody; each of the CEOs talked about him as if he was a product or a fascinating subject. Miss J specifically has talked about Nice being a ‘valuable product’ especially when Lin Ling is about to expose himself being Nice.

News Outlets Around Each Episode

We see many news outlets in TBHX like the TV broadcasts that seem to show up in Episode 1, Episode 2, and Episode 4. These are Focus News and OBTV that broadcasted the news of the Nice/Lin Ling arc. OBTV is seen in the background most of the time, you might even say that it’s the preferred news outlet, while Focus News is only used in Episode 2 in the first part where we see Wreck watching what had happened to Moon and Nice.

Outside of these news outlets, we know that there are live streams that are created by the hero companies for the fans to give their heroes much higher trust by glazing them through a more biased perspective. We can say that these are operated by the companies’ media outlets like official accounts on social media that will feature a livestream on a script or event such as Episode 2 and Episode 3.

Adding on in the first episode of E-Soul’s arc we find out that there are well known journalists to the point of companies like Mighty Glory being able to hire them in such events for their heroes. While this event is more of an anniversary to E-Soul and an Actor Audition Competition rather than a ‘serious’ one, it’s counted on how companies can hire journalists or buy news outlets for their own gain.

The Corporation’s Control to the Press

In real life, some news outlet companies are owned and run by politicians. These news outlets would lean on a biased perspective to the campaigns of the politicians or lean onto a specific political ideal. Who's to say that in the world of TBHX that happens as well to news outlets becoming owned by hero companies?

It can be beneficial for their heroes and to lose some of the trust value of the other competitors – same company or not. I follow this with the mindset of “Neither of you can be X,” said by Miss J when telling Lin Ling to take the N.10 spot from Firm Man even if he’s Nice’s coworker.

Another thing noticed is that companies have the capability to remove any evidence of a hero’s past or wrongdoing to save reputation. This is in Episode 4 where God’s Eye leaked news of a previous boxer who was playing dirty that was erased by TREEMAN. Of course, these companies have the money to ‘erase’ any controversy said to their workers, especially to heroes. This is similar to Lin Ling’s “fake” suicide post by an account called “Focus” which is a cover up for TREEMAN or to expose the company from the Enligtener.

There’s no mention of any politicians in the world TBHX; becoming a hero or being a hero is relevant which holds a lot of power and influence to civilians. They are celebrities, idols, and even could be political. Why I see it could be political is from Queen; her speech in her PV seems like from a political party to promise to give them peace. Heroes aren’t technically there to be politicians, they’re products and concepts, they are there to serve the people, but Queen’s arc could help show that side.

Could it be DOS’s way to control everything? Isn’t almost everything controlled by the Hero Companies? Plus the CEO’s seem to be all knowing on every event.

The Commentary of the Citizens

The only thing that the CEOs are unable to control are the alternative media that the civilians can create

Alternative Media can be beneficial for unknown heroes by getting them into the spotlight or fighting back from the perpetrators like the livestream of Yang Cheng’s fight in Episode 5. The livestream which literally had given Yang Cheng publicity and trust points shown in Episode 6 Preview. (Credits to steIIarevue on the bird app for the translation)

Word of mouth is an important tool in their world. The whole “The Ever Standing Hero” episode is such a run on how it all works with multiple examples: Wolf Girl’s classmates that affected how Firm Man is a masculine guy, Wolf Girl’s comics that twists Firm Man’s image, and lastly Miss J’s dialogue about Imagination.

“Plant an idea to the hearts of the people, then nurture it. It will grow into a sapling… until it blossoms into a concrete thought.”

Each episode you will see responses by the citizens on what happened from the Love Recipe Show to Moon’s fake death to Nice exceeding Firm Man’s trust value to Lin Ling exposing himself to Little Pomelo’s commentary of Yang Cheng’s act and Yang Cheng, himself, to E-Soul. They’re important because they’re the ones that feed on the idea of the heroes.

These are mostly online in chat rooms or from coworkers and friends. A very important social media app that I see lurking around is the FOMO company, since they're also a hero company would there be limits on what the people post about the heroes in the company? Or any mass threads that could possibly ruin the reputation.

The whole reason why I made this post is from Miss J’s dialogue, itself. It’s a world that can give you so many possibilities by just communication and belief in what has happened. It’s a scary thing that it’s just the norm for them and that what could be fake news or real news can be indistinguishable. you hate how much it bothers you, but you can’t help it. you can’t tear your eyes off them as they stand there, wrapped up in some bubble of flirty whispers and private jokes. the way his face softens when she talks to him, like really softens.

your fingers tighten around your glass, the ice clinking as you stare at them. he’s not even trying to hide it.

it’s not like you have any right to feel like this. he’s the ceo. he can do whatever the hell he wants. but the way he’s all over her tonight? it rubs you the wrong way. you catch his eye across the room, and he smirks, like he knows exactly what’s running through your mind. like he wants you to feel like this.

you throw him a glare that could kill, but he doesn’t even flinch. instead, he wraps his arm tighter around the girl, pulling her closer, whispering something in her ear. “good job, chris,” you mutter under your breath, rolling your eyes and forcing yourself to look away.

the rest of the night is a blur. your patience runs thin, and you keep catching yourself glaring at the two of them when you think no one’s looking. every time you glance their way, he’s so into her. it’s dumb. really dumb that you even care.

the next day, the office is as normal as ever, except... it’s not.

you walk in, clipboard in hand, trying to push aside last night’s awkwardness, but there he is, sitting behind his desk like nothing happened. like you didn’t just watch him all over some other girl at that stupid dinner party.

he looks up from his laptop as you enter his office, his expression unreadable for a second before that cocky smirk of his flashes across his face. “morning,” he says, tone light, like he’s just waking up from a nap or something.

you don’t say anything right away, instead flipping through your papers and trying to calm your racing heart. you feel... off. the room is too quiet. too... normal. and it’s messing with your head.

he notices. of course, he does.

“everything okay?” he asks, voice too casual, like he hasn’t just been all over some other girl in front of you. you bite back a sigh, focusing on the papers in your hands. “yeah, everything’s fine.” but it’s not fine.

you hate how you’re feeling—stupid, jealous, petty. but it’s impossible to ignore. seeing him so wrapped up in someone else makes you feel like shit. he tilts his head, watching you for a second too long. his eyes narrow slightly. “you sure? you’re acting different.”

you almost laugh. acting different? you were just fine until he went and got all cozy with her — but you can’t admit that. you force a smile, the fakest one you’ve ever given. “just tired. long night.”

he raises an eyebrow. “hmm. i had a long night too, but you don’t see me acting weird.” he leans back in his chair, obviously enjoying this. you roll your eyes, shoving the papers into a folder. “i’m fine. really.”

he grins, the same playful, cocky grin from last night. and it makes your stomach churn again.

“well,” he says, standing up from his desk, “if you’re sure.” he walks around to your side, standing way too close, his body almost brushing against yours as he takes a step forward.

and then, without warning, he places a hand on the small of your back. your breath catches, the heat from his palm seeping through your shirt, making you feel a little too aware of him.

his voice is low, teasing. “maybe you’ll feel better if you really tell me what’s bothering you.” you turn to look at him, but before you can say anything, he steps back, looking entirely too innocent.

“i’ll be in my office. let me know when you’re ready to—”

“stop.”

your voice comes out sharper than you expected, and he stops mid-sentence, turning to look at you with that same smirk. “what?”

you take a small breath. “i don't want to talk about it, okay?”he raises an eyebrow, looking you over. “sure. but you know, there’s nothing wrong with being jealous.”

you blink, staring at him for a beat longer than necessary. “jealous?” you repeat, your voice barely above a whisper. he shrugs nonchalantly. “i mean, who wouldn’t be? i’m... me, after all.”

you turn away, not wanting to acknowledge how his words are hitting a little too close to home. you grab a random file from his desk just to avoid looking at him.

“whatever,” you mutter. “i’m here to work.”

and just like that, it’s back to business. but the tension between you two is too thick now. you’re both pretending like everything’s normal, but neither of you is fooling anyone.

She didn’t fight it not like I really expected her to but… what did e/n mean by murderer? How did the two even know each other? I’ve been left confused and questioning it as I found myself in the same cycle my life has been. With fancy clothes, jewelry, fancy food… and yet I was just a temporary trophy.

It felt pathetic. 

“Back to being a part of the upper class huh?” I heard Sunghoon sitting next to me. He was someone I knew for a brief amount of time. Some would say he was… a nice guy before his owner got amnesia. 

Sunoo… a poor fox hybrid who wants to please his owner he was severely abused. He was kind and kept to himself but he defended Sunghoon sometimes. That made me believe there was more to the famous snow leopard. 

Someone better than the bully to everyone, even his owner. 

“Do you know why I hate you, bird?” he asked and I shook my head. “y/n and e/n were best friends with my owner a long time ago” he said and I was shocked at the revelation. e/n never would associate herself with… someone who wasn’t in the same financial class as her. 

“y/n was from a well-off family before getting disowned for what they did–” disowned? “e/n though… deserves all the karma y/n got as well. I don’t like either of them let that be clear but there are rumors about you, you oversized chicken” he said and I scoffed. 

“Since y/n was keen on adopting you e/n is now keeping you to spite her” he said and I let my eyes widen. “And where did you hear that?” I asked and he chuckled. “Rumors, I don’t know if it's true but… it does piss me off,” he said and I wondered…

“What did they do?” I asked and his facial expressions turned to hatred. He looked at me with sad but vengeful eyes… 

“Almost killed my owner”

y/n’s perspective

I just had to continue my life as I did before. 

Study and become someone worthy of forgiveness. Someone who helps people… it's why I changed my major after all/ I want to help people as a doctor to atone for my sins.

To finally be able to face her again. 

“You need to take a break” Haechan begged for what it felt like the hundredth time. “I’m sorry for forcing you but I wanted you to get better,” he said and I didn’t want to listen. “It’s fine… I know my limits. I don't need someone taking care of me” I said and he sighed.

“But you do… you're self-destructing. You need to learn to forgive yourself… she already has” she said and I scoffed. “She’s an idiot who doesn’t remember anything! She can’t forgive me if she doesn’t remember what I did!” I yelled and he sighed. 

“You’ve been punished already… you’re just punishing yours;more besides you weren’t completely at fault. You weren’t the only one there” he said and I felt tears blur my vision. 

“But I could’ve stopped it…” I muttered. “You weren’t the one who organized it… you were framed and you couldn’t do anything again e/n. You’re a better person now than before… just please remember you need to calm down and try to accept what happened– What really happened and try to forgive yourself” he said and I sighed. 

“Haechan… I really liked having company for once” I admitted and he smiled. “Jay is complicated but I think he liked you. He just protects himself from getting hurt… like you” he said and I sighed and even let out a chuckle. 

“When did you become mature?” I teased and he scoffed. “Oi! I have always been this way!”

I wanted Jay back… he was nice for the one time he was and now that I look at it through Haechan’s clarity… he was pushing me away like how I did everyone I met when I first crumbled from where I stood. 

I knew though I couldn’t get him back… I had to accept it and move on. 

“Ah! y/n!” I heard someone who made my blood run cold. “Huh? What are you doing?!” I heard the angry snow leopard. “It's been a while! How have you been!” she asked with that same smile… she was also too innocent and sweet to be around me and e/n.

“G-good how’s the… treatments going?” I asked and I noticed people now staring and gossiping around us. She smiled brightly though…

“Good! Sunghoon helps a lot!” she said and I was glad. “Sunghoon said you had a hybrid–” “Not anymore” he muttered, cutting her off to look at me sadly. “Oh… sorry I must’ve forgotten,” she said and I shook my head. 

“No… it's not your fault” I said and she nodded softly. “I hope you’re taking care of yourself?” she asked and I chuckled. “I should be saying that,” I said and she smiled. “Well, let's make that promise together huh?” she asked and all I could do was smile.

“Sunghoon has a bit of training in the ice rink so I have to go but please don’t forget to take care of yourself… and maybe we can hang out again?” she asked I smiled and said sure and our goodbyes. My throat felt tight knowing I lied to her… 

I couldn’t let myself be in her life again. 

Not when I know I ruined her social life… and humiliated her… and caused her disease. Not directly but I was there and I could’ve stopped it. I should’ve stopped it when she asked me to help her… 

“Who do you think you are talking to?” I heard and saw e/n… with Jay by her side. “She came up to me… I was just being nice” I said and she scoffed.

“I don't know how you can wake up in the morning knowing you did that to her… it should’ve been you in the forest that night,” she said and I sighed… “Maybe… or maybe it should've been you,” I said and she scoffed and started yelling at me. It wasn't all my fault I knew that…

Sure I helped… but I didn’t plan it and besides I didn’t know half the things she did to her. 

“See Jay… I saved you from her. She ruins the lives of people around her” she said and I sighed… “Whatever e/n,” I said and left her. I was at least bettering myself… she will never have the chance to. 

I was at least studying and doing my best to be someone worthy of her forgiveness. Not someone who will never change and ruin and belittle others for the rest of her life. 

Funny when I was the one by her side protecting her from mean bullies and pranks when in the end she was no better than those who bullied her. And endless cycle…

That will unfortunately never change. 

jay’s perspective

I tried and learned everything that had happened. 

Sunghoon’s owner was always known as sweet and kind. However, she associated herself with two queen bees. Both may be as bad as each other but as they grew up she improved. Though others will always blame her for it… I didn’t think someone in their position could change but she really was.

I heard things like she volunteers a lot and she’s on the honor roll. Before all she would do was party and… just live the life e/n did but now she truly was trying to make a name for herself on her own.

So much that she would often not take care of herself which is why Mark and Haechan thought a hybrid would be a good idea in the first place. 

“I don’t even know why she would want a hybrid? Her parents never allowed it calling them icky and failed experiments anyway” e/n said to her group of friends.

While many people thought hybrids were luxurious there were some who thought otherwise and saw them lower as humans that shouldn’t even be in the same room as them…

“I guess now that her parents disowned her she’s wanted one I guess but she never mentioned it” she continued with a slight daydreaming expression. “Didn't you guys used to be like bffs” the girls laughed but she didn’t

“Yeah until she did something unforgivable! Only monsters do things like that!” she laughed but it almost seemed forced. 

“Anyways see ya!” she said as I followed her but she stopped abruptly to look at me with a glare. “What was it like? Being under her care?” she asked with crossed arms and I shrugged. “Was she as clumsy and stupid as ever?” she smirked and I said nothing until she sighed.

“She rarely takes care of herself right? It's all I ever hear” she muttered and I nodded. “I see… well Jay! You’re not what I want… in fact, I don’t think I even want a hybrid too much work and I never get my privacy after all” she said as she started walking… 

What was she on about? We walked until I realized we were at the cafeteria somewhere she’d never eaten…

“Oh? Didn’t think she’d be here… ugh and asleep? How low Cinderella has fallen~” she taunted as I saw Mark, Haechan, and Chenle…

“Well, Jay is all hers… I’ll get some of his stuff I don’t need any more hybrids things after all ~,” she said as she took off my collar and threw it on the table and it seemed to wake y/n up. 

“Huh?!” she let out and e/n laughed. “Careful your mask is falling,” Chenle said and she scoffed. “Whatever… buh-bye!” she said and left… but she looked back and tried to look at her reaction… maybe she did care a little after all.

“What is happening?” she asked as the boys laughed. “Looks like you’re stuck with each other again,” Haechan said as he gave my collar to her. 

Would she even accept me again after how mean I was? “But… Jay said he didn’t–” “I do! I want to be your hybrid!” I said this time being truthful… when would I have the second chance like I do now to… finally be with someone who could appreciate me?

“Y-you do?” she asked flustered and I smiled… “Well, the two of you have lots to talk about and I need to pick someone up from the airport” Chenle said as he waved goodbye. “We should go too!” Mark said and Haechan looked confused… “Huh? We don’t have anything–” “Yes we do!” he said leaving us alone. 

“Do you really mean it?”

When Aziraphale Fell happens upon him and offers him shelter from the storm in his little family-run antique repair shop, neither are expecting it to change everything. The angel with his white umbrella and his tartan bowtie doesn’t expect this mysterious stranger to be able to fill the timely vacancy in his shop or the quiet of his life, but they’ve both had experience in restoring once-beloved items back to their full glory. Perhaps Crowley hasn’t fallen quite so far that he wouldn’t fit in with the rest of Aziraphale’s ragtag team of eccentric restoration experts. And perhaps they may be able to turn that talent on themselves and each other, and seal the cracks in their own hearts.

A bit of a wallflower, but he's by no means a bad guy. He's just kinda offputting at first

A little bit too enthusiastic about the science classes where he gets to dissect small animal corpses (he's really good at it it's frightening)

Brings his own lunch from home

Always in the nurse's office, he keeps other sick students company (he's exempt from P.E.)

History

Perrine was born and raised in Marshland Port. She is the second eldest daughter of Elva and Jeremiah Bousquet, the younger sister of Theodore Bousquet, the older sister of Ida and Dixie Bousquet and the granddaughter of Hattie Bousquet.

She and her family used to live in poverty until her parents decided to start up a catering business. Words of praise quickly spread about the Bousquet family's cooking, which in turn resulted in them gaining the funds to open a restaurant. This eventually inspired others to start their own businesses too. Their community became a popular tourist spot because of the shops and restaurants that are connected to the houses.

However, with business comes rivalries, and rather nasty ones at that. After Theodore became the new owner of their family's restaurant following his parents retirement, a restaurant owned by a rich but greedy company opened up across the street from the Bousquet's and the owners frequently began to harass the family, even threatening an impossible debt on them. This makes Perrine fearful as she doesn't want to lose the community she cherishes so dearly.

Perrine is a cheerful and happy-go-lucky young lady who harbors a deep passion for cooking and is always open to trying new foods.
