In 1916, I rent a studio with E.C. Ricart, in here I make acquaintances with several people who introduce me to surrealism.

In 1918, I hold my first individual exposition in the Dalmau Gallery where I present my works, influnced by German expresionism; but some months later, I completely make a radical overhaul in my future pieces.
