Like baby, it's a HEADCANON. THAT'S THE POINT. IT'S LITERALLY THE CANON THE PERSON LIKES IN THEIR HEAD. Some of you need a reality check, if you don't like someone's headcanon, then simply don't read it/look at it. I'm so tired of Randoms making my fellow creators annoyed because they didn't make the FREE WORK that they personally want but won't pay for.

Anyway, if you are one of those gatekeeper types that only wants your favorite character done a certain way and get mad at creative freedom then please block me I don't want your weird ass negativity in my life.

I couldn't decide whether to post these each separately with character descriptions, and space it out over several days, or if i should wait and digitize these first so the colours would be clearer, buuuut... i was putting it off too long, so imma dump them all at once right now, more than an hour past my bedtime.

Time will tell if i regret this in the morning or not.

There will be more character designs coming, of course, but these are just the ones I've drawn so far.

so lowe’s has an AI chatbot instead of a proper job application now. it wants your full legal name and your phone number or email address to “send to recruiters” and then proceeds to ask you all the questions you’d normally answer on a typical job application, excluding tax info and specifics on previous employment specifically at lowe’s

well. I am a HUGE hater when it comes to AI and my personal information so. after a full hour of trying to get the damn thing to just redirect me to the ACTUAL APPLICATION PAGE—which I could not find even though the job description page says you can either apply online OR through the chatbot AI—I decided to bite the bullet and give it a name.

I am now Bungleweed Tumblebutt and I have applied for two (2) positions. I hope if there is any actual recruiter looking over chat histories that they see my vehement dislike of their bot and tell somebody about the hateful Bungleweed Tumblebutt

I'm replaying horizon zero dawn and something just hits different about the game now that I have more life experience and go through life a little bit more consciously. Aloy not being born from a loving mother, causing her to be an outcast by her own tribe (the Nora) who believe in Mother Earth as their one true Mother, truly no longer can be outrun as something incredibly and profoundly painful when you, yourself, have realized you never truly were loved by a mother figure in your life.

And then the quest you get in the hunters lodge, where you meet Talanah, and Aloy bonds with her and tells her she somewhat understands being treaten like trash. The lines "Now everywhere I go I am Aloy of the Nora. It should be Aloy despite the Nora" runs deep, because not only does she acknowledge that she has lived through all the pain, but she also decides to rise above all that by traveling the world and helping others wherever she goes. Despite what the Nora have put her through, despite being shunned and never getting a helping hand herself, despite not knowing who she is... She is Aloy, at the end of every damning day. And that's all there is to it.

I think a good thing about being away from social media though is just caring so much less about all the internet argument stuff. It’s so much less stressful just focusing on me and my health and the people close to me.

Especially with AI stuff. Of course I don’t agree with it scraping from artists but I love when artists reclaim it as a tool and I think it should be used as such. You can’t stop a program from existing, it’s useless. But you can make guidelines to ensure it’s uses are ethical and practical — basically to make jobs easier and not over-work artists, not to replace them.

I think there’s so much to still work-out in that regard, obviously.

Another thing that used to stress me out was those “press 3 buttons to save my pet” videos. I always try to do the copy link think and get interactions up but it started triggering me my anxiety which wasn’t good. Have you guys experienced that, and how did you deal with it? /gen

He disappeared into obscurity for a reason and that was it, and we can’t just forget it happened! I feel like its so hard to be a creative person right now. For me personally there's obviously a lot of compounding factors related to living with unsupportive family members, mental illness, and being queer in an inherently anti-queer area/system/etc but also...

It's just hard right now.

Our jobs are disappearing or being co-opted by AI. Outside of just the creative market, jobs don't pay enough to provide a true living anymore. In the US, we are all actively watching the government crumble before our eyes.

Add personal issues regarding safety, quality of life, mental well-being, and anxiety into the mix (on top of social media involvement in any capacity with regards to politics, art, or queer identity)...

It's a lot right now.

I keep finding myself starting projects and getting fatigued partway through. Or picking up long-term works and dropping them almost immediately.

I'm just too tired man.
