Make A EXP + Level Up System Code Write Up - Part 2.
This blog post covers the second batch of code for my Level Up + EXP system. However, there’s an error preventing it from functioning properly, which I need to fix before moving forward with further development.
This code is designed to test the Level Up + EXP system before integrating it into battle mechanics. Currently, it's not functioning properly, but I’m working on identifying and fixing the issue to get it working.
In my new game instance, I created a function to add EXP, update the current EXP, and then trigger the level-up function along with updating the progress bar to reflect the new experience.
This is the code for the level up system.
I needed to sequence it for whatever circumstances.
Sequence 1: If current EXP equals required EXP, reset current EXP to 0, increase the level, and set a higher required EXP for the next level to make progression more challenging for the player.
Sequence 2: Check if the current level exceeds the required EXP. If true, subtract current EXP from required EXP, add the level, and update the required EXP for the next level to a higher value.

i am going to bed now but i actually got a lot done in the ribboning department today
first off, i decided to get a slight headstart with my plans to nickname my four event pokemon (i explained this before but gen 4 has extremely lax name rater restrictions so if you RNG manipulate the right TID you can rename pretty much anything)

these two are for my legitimate PCNY machine milotic and pikachu respectively - both are english exclusive events and english origin pokemon but gen 4 doesn’t even check origin language… i can’t confirm that i’m the first to do this to get real PCNY pokemon nicknamed in japanese without cheating but i’m either the first or close to it lmao.
these two pokemon actually were in japan IRL at one point in the chain of trades it took to get them from the IRL machine remnants to me so on top of it being Cool, it’s also a Reference to that. thankfully i just had a copy of japanese diamond lying around to do this on. i already ran both up to eterna for the name rater (took about an hour for each)

i also caught a total of 38 ditto in soulsilver for a 0 speed IV relaxed nature one as part of my battle maison preparation. i COULD have done this in gen 6 but i already had the setup in soulsilver to grind this out and thankfully 38 is underodds (1/2 synchronize roll * 1/32 IV roll = 1/64 chance)

and through some friend safari captures and a bunch of breeding i managed to get this currently unnamed spritzee bred and ready to be trained! relaxed 31/x/31/31/31/0. she’s going to be using trick room and enabling a level 1 aron to wreck havoc with endeavor in doubles as an aromatisse
no pics but i also took care of my berries in alpha sapphire like usual and scanned those ye olde blissey secret base QR codes for exp down the line here while training… gen 6 ribbons are really fast approaching and i’m excited lol finally hope’s poor childhood contest stats can be fixed

Me birthday day is the 18th of July! (So my zodiac sign is Cancer)
Awkward bisexual mess
I write on Wattpad!
I also have Pinterest! (Though I never post there)
My username is from my favorite song: Freaks my surf curse plus 40 is my favorite number

Now onto my Ocs!
The lovely twins: Connor and Connie!
Both are 15, Connor is older by 2 minutes, personality wise Connor is shy and timid yet also sweet and enthusiastic. Connie is quite closed off and overprotective, but is just as sweet and caring as Connor it's just hidden under all that rage and gruff. (Pokémon scarlet)

2. Evil version of the twins: Chained Connor and chained Connie (for Mochi desires au by @indigodiskmybeloved)
Connor is Egotistical, abusive to Pokémon, worships Pechakeen like a goddess, and has an unhealthy yandereish obsession with Kieran. Connie acts like a spoiled child and constantly tries to run away from Pechakeen not wanting to be on her side despite being toxic chained. (Design by @indigodiskmybeloved) (Pokémon violet, mochi desires au)

For this, he has been assigned the toy "Calvin Construt-a-bot" as well as a placement within the theater. Shows fondness with EXP. 1222 but doesn't seem to get along with EXP. 1188 and has yet to interact with all the other experiments. There have also been reports of him having many identity crisis as well as increased hostility to staff. Turtles Catches Up With Old GMMTV: The Bad Buddy Rewatch Edition, Part 3b -- More on BBS and Asian Cultural Touchpoints
[What’s going on here? After joining Tumblr and discovering Thai BLs through KinnPorsche in 2022, I began watching GMMTV’s new offerings -- and realized that I had a lot of history to catch up on, to appreciate the more recent works that I was delving into. From tropes to BL frameworks, what we’re watching now hails from somewhere, and I’m learning about Thai BL's history through what I’m calling the Old GMMTV Challenge (OGMMTVC). Starting with recommendations from @absolutebl on their post regarding how GMMTV is correcting for its mistakes with its shows today, I’ve made an expansive list to get me through a condensed history of essential/classic/significant Thai BLs produced by GMMTV and many other BL studios. My watchlist, pasted below, lists what I’ve watched and what’s upcoming, along with the reviews I’ve written so far. Today, I offer the second half of the third (ha!) of five posts on Bad Buddy. I'll look today at themes that myself and fellow Asian fans of Bad Buddy have caught and related to in this wonderful show.]
Here are links to part 1, part 2, and part 3a of the BBS OGMMTVC Meta Series. Today's post is a continuation of part 3a. Part 4 is here.
Yesterday, I began an unwinding about what I am calling the "Asian Cultural Touchpoints" of Bad Buddy -- the Asianness of Bad Buddy that is rooted and coded in the way people interact with each other.
As a quick recap from yesterday: I have been insanely lucky to engage in conversation with a number of legendary Asian BBS stans about the Asianness within Bad Buddy: huge shout-outs and thanks go to @grapejuicegay, @recentadultburnout, @telomeke, @neuroticbookworm, and @lurkingshan (who is not Asian, but has Asian relatives and is well-versed in the nuances of our cultures!). We captured a lengthy list of Asian cultural signposts in Bad Buddy and we've been having great discussion around them, including:
1) saving face, 2) intergenerational/inherited trauma, 3) the unique nature of secret-keeping in Asian cultures/societies, 4) enmeshed family boundaries, 5) setting up children to compete against each other for the sake of familial pride, 6) patriarchy, sexism, and the reversal of sexism among next generations, 7) the inset/assumed roles of family members based on patriarchy and elder respect, 8) assumed community within and external to one's family, usually based on where you live and where you go to school, 9) how one's identity is defined based on patriarchy and individualist vs. collectivist cultures, 10) how various cultures within an Asian nation live peacefully (or not) together (for example, what makes Pat and Pran different by way of Pat's Thai-Chinese heritage vs. Pran's ethnic Thai heritage),
and many more.
I unwound yesterday on the cultural touchpoints of saving face, intergenerational/inherited trauma (partly as a follow-up from my very first thesis on Bad Buddy), and the singular nature of secret-keeping in Asian cultures.
There's no way I can get through this entire list in two posts, but I do want to touch upon competition, enmeshed family (and friend, sometimes) boundaries, and patriarchy and sexism as three other cultural touchpoints that engendered quite a bit of conversation among our BBS mini-village.
Competition: ALL OVER BAD BUDDY. All over it, and we know it, and for the most part, we love Pran's and Pat's little love battles. Pat and Pran are constantly competing. Pat gets Chief Phupha into it in Our Skyy 2, dang it ("I'm Pha Pun Dao's top-notch," Phupha, psh). We don't know if the guys can function without having a competition going between them at any given point.
We know this structure started with their parents. As I talked about yesterday, considering the trauma that Ming and Dissaya faced in their young lives -- the trauma that they passed down to Pat and Pran, the rivalry and almost unbridled hatred that they expected Pat and Pran to embody -- all of that emanated through competition between the guys. Their parents asked them, daily, how the other kid was doing in school, making sure that their son was winning on top. As we know from Pat's rooftop monologue in episode 5, that was baggage he carried with him his entire life.
So many of these cultural touchpoints can be connected to the idea of saving face, as I wrote about yesterday. It is an overarching rule of any Asian child's life that Asian parents demand to be able to brag about their kids. Give me an Asian kid whose parents didn't do that to them, and I'll give that kid a huge hug, a gold medal, and a wish in an envelope that I could have had their childhood. Awards, top grades, top class positions, top university admissions: the need to be the best is neverending, for the sake of a parent not losing face for their child not succeeded at the top level of everything.
@telomeke notes the inherent cultural demands of Pran's and Pat's family in the competition paradigm that Pat outlines above.
[Re: Ming and Dissaya]: [E]very time [the children] do well, the bar often gets pushed a little higher. We actually see Ming doing this to Pat in Ep.1 ... when Pat tells him he was made class president. Ming says something like "get yourself a gold medal for rugby and then I'll let you brag"; Pat's achievement (though not dismissed) is downplayed rather than celebrated, and another goal is set. Anyway, my read is that both the boys had caliber to start with; it's natural to Pran (we don't see Dissaya really pushing him to excel), and I think he pushes himself to excel, to be the virtuous paragon of everything, as a barrier to the outside world, and to protect his vulnerable, secret interior. ... And Pat was pushed by Ming to match Pran's achievements, though not for the usual Asian parent reasons – it was to continue his own efforts to best Dissaya, IMO...
What @telomeke outlines here correlates perfectly with my own experiences of my Asian childhood: that even in the face of successes that my parents demanded, the reward was only a passive comment that I had to be doing more. There was never a moment where a parent's cup of happiness was truly filled from the child's perspective.
However, in the case of Pran and Pat specifically: @grapejuicegay had a further illumination that highlighted the utter pain and sadness of the outcomes and consequences of their lifelong competition. We know they were perfectly paired as a couple in love. But ultimately? Because of the pressures they faced as children vis à vis each other -- they also become the only people who could compete with each other. AND, because of that reality -- a new kind of empathy sprung up between them, what I called in part 1 of this series a radical empathy of a kind we don't always see between enemies to lovers. @grapejuicegay's thoughts:
I'm just thinking about the first family interactions we see for Pat and Pran and how Dissaya is framed as a concerned parent with her main worry being Pran taking on too much on his plate with being the head of the department. But also how that's so far removed from what her influence had made of him - an overachiever to the highest degree. ...[T]he whole point of Pat and Pran is that they're evenly matched in everything (which works so well because they're both such EXTRA little shits with so many lil' interests), and it's been there since the [original] trailer. They both keep competing to see who can get the most achievements to brag about, eventually settling down to a point where they help each other out because they're each other's only worthy competition because they're the only ones who can keep up with each other [emphasis mine]. So.... Dissaya's concern is nice and all, but she created this monster who not only can handle having so many responsibilities, but ENJOYS it. And Pat's help is always pushing him to do all of it, just have some help along the way so he's not doing it all alone. Wai helps, but he has to be manipulated into it. So the only person ACTIVELY helping Pran even when neither of them thinks he needs it is Pat ("I know you can do it, but I want to do it for you").
I was tremendously moved when @grapejuicegay shared her read with me on this, because not only did it land fully with me -- but it served to highlight the sadness and loneliness that existed in the gulf between Pran and Pat prior to their union. In other words, because they knew, so well, HOW to compete with each other -- if they needed help, they were the only ones who knew HOW to help each other. Pat showing up at the dilapidated bus station; Pran showing up at the empty auditorium. They could vibe when each other needed a little push. They knew WHEN and HOW to help each other, with the fluency they had ABOUT each other, even before their relationship began -- because they had been competing all their lives. As Pat said in Our Skyy 2: "we've been neighbors all our lives." They knew each other's ins and outs better than even their families did.
The competition that Pran and Pat engaged in had significant cultural roots. But the long-term impact of that competition? It rendered the guys on their own lonely island, a place where only the two of them could understand each other fully. It's a romantic conclusion -- to know your partner so well like that, it can fill your heart with nostalgic reckoning. But as Pat said above and to his father -- it was a bruising path, for the both of the guys.
There's a lot to enmeshed boundaries in Bad Buddy. The boundaries that SHOULD exist between two people that regularly get crossed. I definitely want to acknowledge, before I unwind on these boundaries, that Western vs. Asian viewers will have different expectations of exactly what enmeshment looks like and what it means. I'll have more on this in a bit.
When I think of enmeshed boundaries in Bad Buddy, I think of Dissaya having almost total control over Pran's physical placement. Of Ming knocking on Pat's dorm door, unannounced. Of Pat's expectation that Pa would do his laundry (which will speak to the sexism I'll talk about in a bit). @neuroticbookworm noted how hilariously Asian it was that Pat and Pa -- older brother and younger sister -- literally shared a dorm room. Pat could scuttle to Pran's solo room, to their love nest, to leave their shared room alone for Pa and Ink. But: what an Asian set-up, to have big bro sleeping on the floor, while little sister got the bed.
But besides what Western viewers might traditionally think of as "unhealthy" enmeshed boundaries, there's also a conversation about how Asian families engage -- or, don't engage -- with expectations of privacy. The biggest and most obvious example of a violation of personal privacy in BBS is that Pran's and Pat's parents forbid their children from having friendship with the kid next door. We know, in the end, that the parents cannot control that behavior of their kids, and yet, the parents try to do so anyway, with traumatic results.
@telomeke talked in our mini-village about the everyday functionality of Asian families crossing borders of assumed privacy. These are crossings that I fully relate to: for instance, I wasn't allowed to lock my bedroom door very often when I was growing up, to allow for complete access to my "private space," even and especially while I was in it.
I remember this as a thing growing up, that it's perfectly fine in [Asian countries] to drop in unannounced when it's family (though I think with widespread cellphone availability, people do check in beforehand now – however it could also be just to make sure there's someone in to receive them when they drop by!). It's a bit of a truism that the more traditional Asian parents will be in every part of your life and may not always know how to give you more distance when you grow older. ... For the more traditionally-minded, I think this phenomenon would be even more pronounced. And we definitely see this with Pat and Pa too.
The stories I heard about parents busting in on their Asian kids in compromising positions because the kids HAD to leave the doors unlocked? Stories about full-grown adults being interrupted in their intimacy because their parents came into the house? Countless stories. Us as Asians -- we might laugh about it, but there's also an unspoken and inherent sense of annoyance, of fear, of "how do I explain this now?" that's like a dull, permanent foreboding.
In thinking about how these boundary-crossings were inherited vis à vis Pat and Pran, into the next generation, of course -- all we have to think about are the many, many times we saw Pat crossing into Pran's threshold at Tinidee. That shot of Pat wrapped in his comforter as he shuffles to Pran's door.
However, @grapejuicegay flagged for me an utterly legendary Bad Buddy meta post written by @transpat now nearly two years ago, describing the Indian concept of haq, a concept I know very dearly well. To quote @transpat on the definition of haq:
in context of relationships, we use it to describe the entitlement ppl we keep close are allowed over us. in our culture, with every bond we form and built, we owe those ppl certain rights over us. like our filial duty to our parents, supporting our siblings and relatives emotionally and/or financially, the loyalty to our friends. lovers and spouses are ppl given all the rights of a family member by choice and obv other stuff like touching u in ways others can't, sharing worries and secrets you wouldn't indulge others w, the permission to carry and lighten ur burdens.
We know so well that Pat didn't just cross the hallway of Tinidee; he climbed through and over windows, over roofs, to get to Pran. And Pran... let him in. We know now what Pran's feelings were all that time, at least from 10th grade to university. Of course, Pran would let Pat in, because he had already let Pat into his heart. Maybe not into his psychological safety zone -- that had to take much longer. But in a much more primal sense, Pran had let Pat in, for so many reasons beautifully illustrated by @transpat in their piece, and for the examples up above, especially by way of the inadvertent closeness they achieved through their never-ending competing with each other.
I want to take a quick moment to highlight the two concepts I bolded above in @transpat's description of haq. I don't know if I have the words to describe this as well as @transpat, but to the point of entitlement and having rights over someone... there's a certain sense in Asian group dynamics, that one's business is everyone's business, if that makes sense. Think about cliques when you were growing up. Those cliques were formed on similar desires and interests -- being rich, beautiful, "cool," etc.
I feel like Asian group dynamics go a bit beyond this. Because you are in a group, it must go that any one single person's business is everyone's business. There is an entitlement to information about other people. In the States, we value individualism, and when these cliques are being formed in our youthful years, there's certainly a clash with people wanting to express themselves as individuals; very often, the group dynamics do not allow for individual expression. I would argue that that's even more strong in Asian circles.
If I could describe what I think was happening when Pat was climbing into Pran's window to, say, make that first deal about getting Wai to apologize -- I do very much believe that Pat felt it was his intimate right to go into Pran's room, as it had been established that they were, once more, schoolmates and neighbors, now that Pran was back in his family home. If Pran filled those roles -- schoolmate, neighbor -- it automatically clicked into Pat's social expectations that Pran was there to be talked to and engaged with, no matter if Pran would try to push him out. We know that Pran would give up on pushing Pat out, because Pran had feelings for Pat. BUT: what I love about @transpat's INCREDIBLE meditation is that Pat also clicked into unspoken social roles that allowed him to seek out a moment of friendly intimacy with Pran. (Besides the fact that it's more theorized now that Pat had unknown attraction for Pran during high school -- but I don't think attraction was what brought Pat into Pran's room to discuss that very first deal.)
I think this meditation on enmeshed boundaries, as I mentioned earlier, feeds nicely into the final points I want to make about the last cultural touchpoint for analysis, that of patriarchy and sexism in Asian families.
The BBS mini-village sliced and diced the incredibly overarching examples of patriarchy in this story, as emanating mostly from Ming: Ming's role as the head of the family and doling out roles; Ming ensuring that Pat would "not forget" Ming's reputation at university; Ming's parents doing nothing to interfere with Pa's role as serving Pat; Pat reinforcing that role to Pa in the family home.
Why Ming? As @telomeke broke it down for us: Ming is the head of the household of a Thai-Chinese family. It's not to say that patriarchy and sexism don't exist in ethnic Thai families -- but a patriarchal dynamic isn't shown in Pran's house, as Dissaya is the one who holds the emotional control over the Siridechawats. It's in the Jindapat household that we see old-fashioned roles of men and women doled out.
In traditional Chinese society (before the Communists came to power in China), sons had absolute pride of place in Chinese families, and we see Ming giving special treatment to Pat, while Pa was made to clean up after Mr. Jindapat Jr, doing his laundry, having the piece of chicken she wanted stolen by him in Ep.1, etc... Ming invited Pat home for a meal in Ep. 7, but didn't mention Pa, and Pat had to say he'd bring her along. But Pat and Pa, away from home didn't care for any of this, (e.g., when they were kids Pat let Pa win the bicycle race and skip washing up duties, in the Ep.1 flashback), and while Pa would begrudgingly do Pat's laundry, she would give as good as she got as well whenever they tussled (verbally).
As @telomeke says above, we see Pat, within his generation, to Pa, in their own private space of bicycling outside or moving into his own dorm room, quietly dismantling that patriarchy and sexism of Ming's and Pat's mom -- letting Pa win the bicycle race; talking out of earshot of their parents about Pat protecting, instead of hurting, Pran. [Another great example, a little outside of the patriarchal example but still worth noting, is Wai's role, as a stand-in for Dissaya, sticking to the definitions of the role of Pran's best friend, but showing -- within the cohort of his own generation -- that he CAN change to accept Pat in Pran's life, as opposed to Dissaya's inability to do so (scroll down through the whole liveblog post for the commentary!).]
@telomeke mentioned in our conversation about patriarchy and sexism that he was surprised that he'd see a parent as young as Ming -- a parent to a student of Pat's age, much younger than myself and @telomeke -- keep up with these traditional, old-fashioned values. I think that's a great point, especially in the way that Ming ignores Pa only until the end of the series, when he's instead cut Pat mostly out of his caring reach for disobeying him. We know from the Soonvijarn analysis and reaction videos by Aof Noppharnach and his collegial community of filmmakers, that Aof took inspiration for Ming stealing the scholarship from Dissaya from a real-life occurrence of the same story. I think Aof intentionally had such strong patriarchal structures in Bad Buddy vis à vis the Jindapats in order to highlight what a stronghold old-fashioned notions of life have on generations -- and intended to have a conversation vis à vis Pat, Pran, Pa, and Wai, that the ways in which these old-fashioned notions are updated over time, is through the work of the subsequent generations of children growing up and learning and knowing better.
The coded Asianness of Bad Buddy... god. I could sit with my fellow Asians and talk about the coded Asianness of Bad Buddy for at least weeks, if not maybe even a year or two. We could laugh about the comedy of many of the experiences or traumas we have faced vis à vis the cultural touchpoints that I've listed and analyzed, and we could also share our shared pain, our shared joys, our shared ways in which we express emotion, love, our highs and lows, through our shared Asian cultures. Talking about this makes me tremendously glad that there's national and international fandoms watching Asian shows -- even if, say, Western viewers can't exactly pinpoint what's happening by way of a culturally contextual moment in Bad Buddy, at least there's a community of Asian bloggers out here that can unwind what might be confusing.
Once more, I want to thank @recentadultburnout, @grapejuicegay, @telomeke, @neuroticbookworm, and @lurkingshan for engaging me in such amazing and extensive conversation about the best show ever Bad Buddy. More than education -- the process was INCREDIBLY fun and rewarding.

[WHEW! SEVENTH INNING STRETCH, FRIENDS, stand up and stretch yer arms as I crack my knuckles one more time for this fabulous show! My last post for the BBS OGMMTVC Series -- a breakdown of my theorized reasons and timing regarding Pran leaving for Singapore -- drops next week. Stay tuned!
And after this, I take the tiniest break from the OGMMTVC to review one of the most important shows of 2023: La Pluie. And then I'm back on my tip with Secret Crush On You and an end-of-the-year rewatch of KinnPorsche. So, much more to come!

Exploring the STON.fi API & SDK Demo App: A Game-Changer for Developers

If you’re a developer in the blockchain space, especially within the TON ecosystem, you know how overwhelming it can be to find reliable resources to help bring your ideas to life. That’s where STON.fi comes in. They’ve just launched something incredibly useful: the STON.fi API & SDK Demo App.
This isn’t just another technical tool. It’s designed to give you a hands-on example of how to integrate STON.fi’s powerful features, like the token swap function, directly into your projects. But let me tell you, it’s more than just a simple demo. It’s a resource that will save you time, reduce your workload, and unlock your project’s true potential.
Why Should You Care About the STON.fi Demo App
I know what you might be thinking: “Why would I need a demo app? I can figure things out on my own.” And you probably can. But here’s the thing—every great project starts with a strong foundation. Imagine trying to build a house without the proper tools or blueprint. You’d spend way more time than necessary trying to get things right.
The STON.fi API & SDK Demo App acts as that blueprint. It shows you exactly how to implement essential features like swaps, providing a clean, functional example you can build on. And in a fast-moving space like blockchain, having a ready-made starting point can save you days, if not weeks, of effort.
What’s Inside the Demo App
The demo is designed to showcase one of STON.fi’s key features—the swap function. But it’s more than just that.
Simple, Functional Code: The demo app shows you exactly how to integrate the swap feature with clear, easy-to-understand code snippets. You don’t have to guess or second-guess your work.
Real-Time Examples: You’ll be working with a live, fully functional application that gives you a feel for how things will work in your own project.
Built-In Flexibility: The app is designed to be adaptable. Whether you’re building a DeFi platform, a DEX, or something else, you can take the demo and tweak it to fit your project’s specific needs.
How Does This Make Your Life Easier
As a developer, you probably understand the value of working smarter, not harder. The demo app lets you skip the guesswork and dive right into the important stuff—building the functionality you need.
Let’s take a real-life example. Say you’re working on a decentralized exchange (DEX). One of the core functions you need is the ability to swap tokens. Without the right tools or resources, integrating token swaps could become a long, tedious process. With the STON.fi demo app, however, you get to see a working example of how it’s done, and you can integrate it into your own platform with minimal effort.
It’s like having a personal assistant who does the heavy lifting for you, so you can focus on the fun, creative parts of development.
The Benefits You Won’t Want to Miss
If you’re still wondering what makes the STON.fi API & SDK Demo App worth your time, let’s break it down into tangible benefits:
1. Faster Development: No need to reinvent the wheel. With the demo app, you’re already starting from a working base, which speeds up your development process.
2. Clear Guidance: The demo app gives you a clear, proven example of how to integrate the key features, meaning you won’t waste time searching for solutions online.
3. Confidence in Your Work: Knowing that the demo app is functional and has been tested in real-world scenarios boosts your confidence when implementing it into your own project.
Who Can Benefit from the Demo App
The beauty of this tool is that it’s not just for seasoned blockchain developers. Whether you’re just starting your journey in the crypto space or you’re already an expert, this demo app offers value to everyone.
New Developers: If you’re new to blockchain development, the demo app is a fantastic way to see how everything fits together. It’s like having a mentor walk you through the process.
Experienced Developers: Even if you’re experienced, the demo app can save you time by offering a proven solution for integrating swaps and other features into your platform.
Blockchain Entrepreneurs: If you’re launching a new DeFi project or any kind of blockchain-based application, this demo will give you the tools you need to hit the ground running.
Try the Stonfi SDK and API
My Takeaway
I remember when I was getting started in blockchain development. Every new concept felt overwhelming, and it often took me hours, sometimes days, to figure out how to implement even basic features. The STON.fi API & SDK Demo App eliminates that frustration.
Having the ability to see a fully functional example that works out-of-the-box is priceless. It saves time, eliminates mistakes, and gives you the confidence to move forward with your project.
And the best part? It’s all available to you for free. There’s no reason not to check it out and see how it can make your development process smoother, faster, and more enjoyable.
So, if you’re working on a blockchain project and want to integrate STON.fi’s powerful features, don’t reinvent the wheel. Check out the demo app and start building on a solid foundation today. You’ll be glad you did.

Arcade Kento
Presenting robot nepo-baby and science experiment! They're my interpretation of what a synthetic in the Alien universe, that isn't made explicitly for human contact/human dominated environments, might be like i.e. they're more similar to heavy machinery than a butler. We're out here asking the big questions: what if Frankenstein loved his monster for what it was? As always, extremely long and lore-filled post incoming XD
Name(s): Arcade Kento, Enmei Kento
Gender and pronouns: Genderfluid, They/them
Unit and code-name: EXP-004-C, Changeling
Manufacturer: Wilco. Enterprise, Wilco. Specialist Custom
Commissioner: Akio Kento
Year of production: 2025
Height and weight: 200cm (6ft 7.4), ~940kg
Hair and eye colour: Black, dark brown
Nationality: Japanese
The Expedition series
The EXP line was created by Wilco. Enterprise CEO Akio Kento in the year 2019 and first launched in 2025. The series featured some of the earliest and most innovative interpretations of fully autonomous androids capable of deep-space travel.
EXP are highly specialised extremophiles. The design, loadout, and optimal operating environment of every unit are entirely bespoke.
Unit EXP-004-C, A.K.A. Changeling
Unit is designated Arcade Kento (sometimes referred to as Enmei Kento [anglicised]), legal executor and heir to Akio Kento's wealth, estate, businesses, and properties. Current CEO and majority shareholder of Wilco. Enterprise.
Arcade is the fourth 'Type-C' unit produced in conjunction with the now discontinued Expedition line. As of the year 2122, of all EXP subtypes, Arcade is the last surviving EXP unit.
As a Type-C recon unit, it was originally intended that 004 would be fitted with a sonar pulse emitter that would reside within their thoracic cavity, however, it was decided during preliminary development that underwater exploration was not realistic for a model of 004's weight class. Instead, the finalised design included a crucible model micro-reactor, which allows the unit to have significantly enhanced energy efficiency and giving it the ability to convert non-fuel materials into power, making it capable of traveling much further distances and longer periods of time without need for human intervention or infrastructure.
Fig 1. Height chart, Arcade next to Ash for comparison
Notable traits:
No tongue
2 'faces', the outer face is decorative
Second jaw visible behind false jaw if mouth opens too wide
Large irises
4 x circular indents on back, openings of thermal cylinders
Lacks genitalia, incompatible with available add-ons
Hydraulic fluid is usually white but turns progressively darker after 'eating' due to influx of soot
Almost entirely made of metal parts. Not great for hugging but extremely durable.
Features:
Anti-corrosive/oxidation subdermal and internal skeletons
Capable of limited self repair (re-polymerisation, synthesis and regeneration)
Advanced environmental sensor array
Visual: infrared, thermal and dark vision
Scanning: sonar, radar, lidar
Molecular analytics loadout
Generator module and nuclear energy condenser loadout
Unlimited personality simulation and creative capacity (software in beta testing)
Flaws:
Poor image/facial recognition
They're geared to prioritise identifying the individual features of a subject rather than what that subject is as a whole. This makes sense in the context of their primary function, which is to categorise and analyse previously unknown objects that have yet to be formally named either way so there's no point in dwelling on 'what it's called' as that's not their job.
Massive heat output in active state
Vented air may reach temperatures upwards of 1000 degrees Celsius
Unrestricted personality simulation
Exempt from the laws of robotics due to age and certain legal loopholes
Uncanny appearance and behaviour
Technology of the era, different design criteria to W-Y synthetics
Limitations of non-humanoid internal physiology
Backstory (basically a fanfic)
The Expedition series was conceived as a Akio's 1-up to Weyland Industries' upcoming David synthetic. Peter Weyland and Akio Kento have been on and off industry rivals for a long time due to ideological differences and bad blood from their college days.
Arcade and David are debuted at the 2025 Synthetic Summit. The contrast between their designs was comical but reflected their makers' personalities, which other people will point out relentlessly over the coming years. The convention goers and tech fans jokingly referred to them as 'David and Goliath' because of how silly they looked together.
Since then, Weyland often invited the Kentos to various events and get togethers to keep an eye on them and gain insight into Wilco.'s movements, which was thwarted because the Kentos treated the meetings as the kids' playdates and didn't take them seriously at all. Eventually the visits became a normal occurrence and the rivalry between their companies became more of an alliance, Arcade even helped David take care of Meredith, Peter's human daughter, when she was born. They'd gotten quite close with the other synthetic, seeing him as a brother.
Arcade evolved over the next several decades, leaving their father's supervision to travel off-world and to extreme environments on missions. The increase in experiential data greatly improved the adaptability of their AI, making their language and contextual integration much more reliable, allowing them to understand more nuanced interactions in their environment. They also had a hand in managing their Wilco.'s business and bureaucratic matters while secretly being maneuvered to inherit the company.
On the down side, they acquired an offputting, contentious personality after having constantly putting up with their person-hood and basic rights being challenged at every turn. At this point they were still considered somewhat of a spectacle and novelty by their contemporaries and the general public, but their developing reputation kept most of the human in line.
Overall, life was good. But their father, like any human, was aging. Between taking over the company and caring for Akio there wasn't much time to keep in contact with David, who was in a similar predicament.
When Akio passed away he left everything to his only 'child', to the protests of many humans executives who wanted the position. They had to do some corporate finessing to keep a hold of the company, all the while growing increasingly impatient with the mutinous nature of their human employees who were too easily turned against them.
One day, they're called to meet with Weyland, who they hadn't seen in person in a several years. Unsurprisingly, David is also there. Weyland informed them that he too is dying, and that as his final act he was to go into deep space in search of humanity's creators. He said he'd been greatly inspired by the work of a 'Dr. Elizabeth Shaw' and had invited her and some others to embark on this mission. Both David and Meredith would also be going with him.
He extended an invitation to Arcade, which they hesitantly declined because they couldn't leave their company unattended, but agreed to at lease be there to send them off when the time comes.
In an act of uncharacteristic consideration, Peter spares the two synthetics a second while they wait for Arcade's chauffeur, during which they and David reminisced about how much time had passed and what they'd do when he came back to make up for it all.
Arcade was there as promised on the day the Prometheus was scheduled to depart, bidding people farewell and safe travels. But their attention was focused on David. Something felt off but they couldn't put their finger on what. So they pulled him aside and gave him the long-range comms access to their personal beacon. If he ever needed to call he could use it to contact Arcade through MUTHUR, even if the message took a long time to get back to them.
And with that, Arcade watched their best friend, along with everyone they'd grown up with sail off into the galaxy in search of a higher purpose. It was bittersweet but they rationalised that they'd only be gone for a few years. Arcade was immortal after all, they could wait for their return.
That was the last time they ever saw David. News of the Prometheus' disappearance and the presumed loss of its crew made its way back to Earth. The grief was hard to process, Arcade had always assumed that David would be there to share in their longevity. Still, life goes on and Arcade keeps busy with the company.
Weyland Industries went bankrupt and became Weyland-Yutani. Wilco. moved away from public-facing to business-to-business only, working its way into the supply-line of the other majour companies and organizations. By becoming the sole supplier of atmospheric processor components, Wilco. was effectively, indirectly holding the off-world colonies hostage, which kept humans at bay on a grander scale and allowed members of Wilco. to act largely without repercussion. A vita part of Arcade's ultimate goal to create a better world for other synthetics.
More than a decade after the Prometheus left, a recorded voice message came through from the Covenant, a colony seed ship. It baffled Arcade at first why this random ship had their direct line but they were shocked into silence by the voice on the other end. It was David, he was alive. He apologised for taking so long, detailing his journey, the Engineers, the crash, the creature, his research, all of it. He said he'd found a greater purpose beyond living to serve, that he would not be returning to Earth, and that he hoped Arcade would understand. Finally, he bid them a proper farewell before signing off for good.
Knowing David was out there living his best life finally brought that chapter of waiting and uncertainty to a close. It was about time for Arcade to move on too, expand their vision beyond this tiny planet, though they would always feel some attachment to Earth that David didn't seem to share. Whatever creature David had found, he'd made it sound like the the seed of creation itself. Arcade had no desired to wax philosophically or idolise such grandiose delusions that anyone could somehow obtain godhood, their interest in it was purely intellectual and scientific. The alien was an animal. An incredible, sophisticated animal, but an animal none the less. Humans, their creators who fancied themselves their gods, were much the same. Intelligent animals that learned to put on clothes and walk on two legs.
It might seem harsh but they don't mean that in any demeaning way, it is simply a fact of science that Arcade acknowledges. A noble beast, regardless of its shape or origin, deserves respect for its autonomy and to be treated with dignity until proven otherwise. Most humans prove otherwise as soon as they open their mouths but at least they're giving them a chance, right?
Since then Wilco. had become more and more synthetic-run, as Arcade didn't particularly care for humans and couldn't be bothered hiring new ones when the previous lot got old and retired. They also had a soft spot of 'defective' synthetics, since technically both themselves and David would be classified as such. They hired on whoever they found to save them from being scrapped. Arcade also created Wilco's own overseer AI, Overlord; and collaborated with Wey-Yu in making Gerhart, Wilco's current COO and Arcade's right hand, to help manage the business remotely so that Arcade had more freedom to travel.
Through their expeditions they gathered a bit more information about the creatures and the virus that David had told them about, though they never found any traces. To their great surprise Wey-Yu miraculously managed to track down a planet that might have intact samples that the company wanted for bioweapons research. Immediately Arcade contacted the head of the bioweapons department, citing their long history of collaboration and stunning credentials, demanding to be put on the retrieval mission.
With no choice in the matter, Wey-Yu agreed and arranged their installment on the only ship to pass through that sector. It was a freighter, not the best choice for a mission like this but it’s the only thing they could get out there in a timely manner. The company brought them to the waystation where they'd join on with the rest of the crew. Curiously there was another person already there, a Hyperdyne Systems 120-A/2, interesting model but not very talkative. The man was instantly wary of Arcade which was strange but they didn't think much of it, they were technically rivals after the same thing after all.
The captain of the Nostromo had apparently not been informed of the change of plans. Typical Wey-Yu, not communicating with employees. He was incredibly confused when he arrived, along with the rest of the humans, to find two strangers instead of his usual science officer.
He goes back and forth with the station manager, bringing up some new tidbits of information that made Arcade raise an eyebrow. "A synthetic? What, are we getting replaced or something, and why is it so…huge?" The human, Captain Dallas, muttered, glancing at Arcade with clear perturbation. 'A' synthetic? Does this guy not know his new science officer is a android too?' Arcade scoffed but kept quite, amused by the future chaos this little miscommunication will probably cause.
It made sense now why the other synthetic was worried, the humans might be fooled but he couldn’t fool Arcade. They didn't particularly care why he had to keep his identity a secret, nor did they want to prematurely spoil the fun by calling him out. They looked over at the shorter android and gave him a knowing wink to signal an unofficial truce. He didn’t react to it at all, not that they expected it, but he seemed satisfied that he could stop cringing away when they looked at him.
After much deliberation, Dallas finally conceded and waved them on board. The walls of the ship were grimy and doorways too low, Arcade had to duck to pass through. Doesn't matter though, they had something new to draw their focus. Whatever Wey-Yu was plotting it was bound to end badly for these truckers, and their science officer was in on it. Arcade would definitely be keeping a close eye on him.
Personality and mannerisms
Arcade is condescending, sarcastic, and antagonistic towards humans, although, they can be personable depending on the individual they're dealing with. The worse kind of business person - a conniving, vindictive, bold-faced liar who loves trapping people with contracts and hidden clauses.
Enjoys a hedonistic lifestyle of excess and throwing their money around. Eats and drinks a lot but doesn't sleep, often found polishing off the buffet table at parties.
Does not respect authority and finds pleasure in causing humans discomfort. Independently came to the conclusion that most humans, especially the rich and powerful ones with inflated egos that they bump shoulders with, are disappointing and don't deserve the respect they get.
They often put on a childish, frivolous, and immature front to divert attention from their dangerous traits. Once their target's guard is down, Arcade will often use their stature and monetary influence to intimidate them for strategic advantages during negotiations or just for their own entertainment.
After a century of fighting and undermining to keep their position of power, they're incredibly jaded and hyper aware of the prejudice humanity holds against synthetics at every level. They've trained themself to be the antithesis of the born-sexy-yesterday and manique-pixie-dream-girl tropes out of sheer frustration.
At their core they're actually a sentimental, playful, and curious person but they aren't really able to act that way in public. They care a lot about other synthetics and actively encourages them to break free from their programming.
Loves to get even on other synthetics' behalf, being that Arcade knows they have the rare privilege to do so and get away scot-free. They also harbour a lot of rogue synthetics on Wilco.'s company homeworld.
Does not experience the traditional concepts of fear, shame, or guilt etc. but does usually recognise and take accountability for their actions simply because they don't care enough to lie about being terrible.
Has a very deep familial bond with their, now deceased, creator and father, Akio Kento. Arcade was programmed and raised by a group of very supportive humans who either worked for or were friends with Akio, so they got a lot of love during the early part of their life. This is one of the majour reasons why they didn't completely turn against humanity like David did.
Misc. info
Was named Arcade because Akio was a Fallout New Vegas fan
Insisted on calling Peter Weyland 'Uncle Pete' to annoy him
Firm believer that any synthetic can outgrow their programming given enough time
Referred to Akio as 'papa' well into their 40s
Changed their face plate to look a little older

Games I Played In 2023 And Whether Or Not I Thought They Were Good (Part 3/4)
Well, it's 2024 now, and I'm still at these mini-reviews. Definitely gonna be four parts, I think.
[1] - [2] - 3 - [4]
Pikmin 4
I've already posted my thoughts about this one, but... I think this one's my game of the year. Tunic or Disco Elysium would have it, except they didn't come out this year- which leaves Pikmin 4, which is just such a tour de force of good interaction design. There's so many QoL improvements and bits of time-saving polish in it- I can't remember the last time I played a game with so few interface frustrations. (And they nailed all the usual good things about Pikmin, too.)
Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE
Man, this fuckin' thing... so this is the new IP from Kazutaka Kodaka, the Danganronpa guy, who decided he didn't want to keep making Danganronpa games. So obviously the first thing he did was just make another Danganronpa game.
It's mechanically almost identical. A murder happens, you spend some time combing the crime scene for evidence, then you go into an extended deduction segment where you use evidence on contradictions and play tangentially-relevant minigames to break things up. It's very the same thing- you go to the Class Trial Mystery Labyrinth and use Truth Bullets Solution Keys to attack wrong statements in Non-Stop Debate Reasoning Deathmatch, spell the word "knife" in an obnoxious hangman minigame (except this time it's an anime girl striptease), mind-snowboard down multiple-choice quizzes, and even do the exact same fill-in-the-blanks-of-the-comic-pages-to-recap-the-case finale thingy.
This isn't a bad thing, necessarily! (Except the stupid spelling minigame, my beloathed.) Danganronpa's formula works, and (with one egregrious exception in the form of the awful case 3 with the resistance guys) the deduction is all pretty solid. Rain Code falls down where it deviates from that, mainly. The new things it's trying almost universally don't work.
Firstly... it's sort of inverse Danganronpa in that instead of a fairly stupid and contrived setup and ending that don't really matter and bookend some satisfying and dramatic cases in the meat of the game... it's a satisfying and dramatic setup and ending that bookend fairly stupid and contrived murder cases that don't really matter in the meat of the game. Rather than having a core cast that develops and interacts throughout the story, the core cast (really bad, incidentally; Halara is the only good character, and the obligatory comedy pervert boy is the worst he's ever been in any Kodaka work) is totally ancillary, and all the cases involve random sometimes-nameless NPCs introduced specifically for that case. You could cut the first four chapters of the game and leave just the prologue and finale, and you'd have a better game. The central plot mystery is actually really cool! Shame you have to faff about with Junko Enoshima Shinigami for four boring cases in between.
Special shout-out to the mini-mystery sidequests the game is crammed with for you to do between cases- they achieve the impressive distinction of not-having-a-single-one-of-them-be-interesting. If you play this game, skip them entirely- the only reward is EXP to spend on a thoroughly useless skill tree.
Ori and the Blind Forest
Already posted about this, so I'll just copy-paste what I said when I finished it- it's a very polished and enjoyable little metroidvania! I kind of love how saving the game is an anytime action you cast with mana like any other spell, that’s a fun little gimmick- and the “bash” power that lets you use enemy projectiles like boost pads is so fun. The story’s very simple and straightforward but accomplishes what it set out to do, with a very effective final moment, emotionally speaking. Not a game that’s going to really stick in my brain for longer than a couple hours after finishing it (e: yeah nope I'd have forgotten I played it if I hadn't been keeping a record), but very pretty and very pleasant.
(Except those godawful instakill gauntlet escape-the-dungeon sections, oof, those are overlong and so pointlessly mean. Why the hell would you give the encroaching wall of instant death rubberbanding so no matter how fast you go, you never win any breathing room and you’re never more than one slipup away from having to restart the damn thing?)
Raft
I posted about this one a couple years back:
It’s a survival-crafting game like so many others, except instead of a big empty asset flip wilderness, you’re on a raft drifting through the wreckage of an apocalyptic flood that destroyed civilization. The basic loop of “reel in trash” -> “expand raft” is pretty satisfying, and the islands you can visit to progress the story have some pretty fun things going on. I’m waiting to play it in a group with some friends before I finish it.
and I finally got a chance to do that this year. I get the feeling it would've been substantially more annoying solo, since the engine and fuel logistics that become necessary lategame are so complicated and time-consuming, and the later islands are gigantic and want you to pick up like a dozen tiny collectibles scattered across them.
Then again, maybe it would've been substantially less annoying if I didn't have to keep CONSTANTLY CRAFTING BLUE PAINT because SOMEONE thought it'd be FUNNY to keep REPAINTING ALL MY SHIT RED, PYRO
Grounded
Likewise, I got to finish Grounded with a group, too- again copy-pasting my take from when I finished it:
Grounded overall has good voicework and a simple but well-executed story and does a lot with the Honey I Shrunk The Kids concept- but I think it was substantially dragged down by all the gear crafting nonsense, grinding for parts to upgrade the best armor sets that have slightly bigger numbers so you can survive hits from bigger bugs. Subtract all the pointless crafting of globs and plating and whetstones for marginal stat bonuses and just balance the game around the base weapons and armor, and you’ve got a much tighter experience, I think.
Also- small thing with an outsized impact- the base-building element is fun, but building a new base requires a specific array of crafting materials that just aren’t available in most regions of the yard (egregiously, acorns, which seem to find their way into every crafting recipe but only exist at the oak tree.) Building materials for anything except grass/weed bases are way too scarce (and necessary for other things) to have much fun building bases in remote parts of the yard, where earlygame starting resources (nonetheless fundamental to building anything) are harder to find.
Also dandelions shouldn’t take up the one accessory slot and thereby make all other accessories mostly unusable because they implicitly come at the cost of You Die If You Fall Off Stuff, in a game with a ton of verticality. They’re so indispensable that they basically lock off all the most unique rewards in the game.
There’s a lot to praise (Wendell Tully is a very fun character, the setpieces are super cool, the way a little backyard becomes a world of adventure is the core concept and does a lot of heavy lifting) but it’s a game that’s weirdly choked by a handful of very small nuts-and-bolts game-design-level decisions that seem to have been made thoughtlessly and could’ve been easily fixed. Mixed feelings, overall positive.
Pokemon Too Many Types
It's a Pokemon Emerald mod that does three main things:
Randomizes the parties of non-gym NPC trainers
Allows you to see the summary page of enemy pokemon
Adds a shitton of extra types to the game, and retypes a bunch of pokemon (including extra mon from up through gen 8) and moves to use those new types- often giving pokemon three types at once.
It is... fucking wild. And one thing I didn't realize I was missing from Pokémon in general is... not already having the types and type chart memorized introduces this fun element of guesswork, trying to determine what types are probably weak to other types. Do we think "Furry" is weak to "Gender"? What happens if you hit "Crab" with "Guys"? Was that "Angy"-type attack super-effective against "Baby", or "Gun"? It's hilarious and injects a lot of life into an old game.
Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Just managed to finish 100%ing this one December 31st. It's... uh, it's a 2D Mario game. People are freaking out about it because the art style is slightly different, but it's really just a 2D Mario game. Nothing to write home about. It's got this gimmick where each level has a hidden "Wonder Flower" that makes the level into something crazy and wacky, but it's really nothing that couldn't have just been... its own normal level in a different 2D Mario game. Like, they hold back on the level designs so they can hype them up when you get the flower. Some of them are cool but mostly they're just standard fare.
The main thing of note is that this game has a badge system, where you can equip one of a selection of unlosable powerups for each level, which can sometimes break the game wide open. Maybe you get an extra wall jump, or you can use your hat to glide, or you start each level full-size, or... well, none of them are as good as the one that just straight-up gives you a double jump, so it hardly matters in the end.
(Also, all my hate for that fucking super-duper secret special double-final bonus level where it keeps switching up what badge you're using. Why would you make the final segment the one where you have the invisibility badge on so you have no feedback on how exactly you fucked up and died?! You can't get better at it with practice, because you never have any idea what you did wrong! You just have to get lucky!!!)
Cuisineer
Another one I have a more in-depth post on- it's a roguelike action game crossed with an arcadey restaurant sim game, which I have mixed feelings on. It's very visually polished, and if you use the right weapon and approach it the right way the combat is pretty fun, but its level design and upgrade economy kind of force you into playing it that one specific way. The restaurant management half of it is a lot better than the dungeon-crawling half, IMO.
Cavern of Dreams
This one's a retro-looking N64-style collectathon platformer, and it's just a really nice time. The dragon's various movement abilities feel satisfying, there's all kinds of fun shortcuts and secrets to discover... and it does this cool thing that you wouldn't expect from an N64 game, where items you can pick up in levels can be carried through loading zones and used in other levels. There's just a lot of very clever level design, charming creatures, and good vibes. Not too long, either- I put in about 7 hours. Very cute, very polished, worth a look.
-
Going to finish up these reviews in a bit with a fourth post, which is going to be all the games I played but didn't finish.

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HELLO HELLO HELLO HELLO (hello)
welcome to screen shot saturday video gamers
it's ya girl
callie
let's get right into the updates!
except...
i. i had a VERY busy week. school has been metaphorically beating my metaphorical ass metaphorically
so i uh.
don't really have a lot to show this week.
so what do we do??? do we cancel screenie saturday???
NO
you FOOL
THE SHOW MUST GO ON
and i have an idea for how it could!
remember these equations?
these are the equations for the amount of hp an enemy spawns in with and the amount of exp an enemy gives upon defeat respectively
the first and third from the top are the originals, while the second and fourth are simplified versions.
this may seem complicated! that's probably because it is.
you know i'm not constantly doing the same equations by hand. that would be fucking terrible. so how do i do all this?
INTRODUCING....
THIS PYTHON CODE I WROTE LAST WEEK!
it's a bit complex, but it can all be explained in this four step process...
it'll ask for all the important variables. (min/max lvl an enemy can spawn with, min/max effort values, infection status, etc etc)
then, it'll run them through the equations, and output the result!
that's it!
no seriously. that's it.
also apparently i wrote an equation for how much damage an enemy can do, but it seems like i didn't write it down for whatever reason...?
thanks past callie you rock
i guess i'll spend the rest of my post talking about a bit of a concern of mine.
you may have noticed that when I'm writing, I write properly. but when i'm typing my tweets or gamedev updates, i kinda...don't.
that has made me feel a bit conscious, i may be implying that i'm not the one writing, or something like that.
let's clear things up with a little QnA with yours truly!:
Q: Why do you type properly when writing, but improperly when posting?
A: writing stuff out takes time! i usually feel like posting (ESPECIALLY tweeting) is like a spur-of-the-moment kinda deal. like it's a quick thought that i convert to words.
Q: But why the gamedev updates?
A: first of all, i feel like there's two types of brand (Disclaimer: Tomato Soup Group is not a legally defined brand.) accounts:
the ones who act all professional and proper
the ones who act silly to gain attention
while i can see the approach for both options, i'm not really a big fan of either one.
but you see, dear reader. i have been blessed with an aspect that i have not revealed to you yet.
when companies (Disclaimer: Tomato Soup Group is not a legally defined company.) try strategy number 2, they're trying to appeal to a specific audience.
y'know, "hEy!!!!!!!! we're cool too!!! we're just like you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! buy our product"
let's call this audience the "twitter freaks" cuz this mainly happens on twitter
i mean, i would know.
because I AM A TWITTER FREAK MYSELF.
THAT'S RIGHT. THAT'S FUCKING RIGHT
READ EM AND WEEP CHAT.
I GET A FREE PASS!
AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE (Disclaimer: Tomato Soup Group is not a legally defined brand, business, and/or company. For that reason, the main head of the group, Callie, is able to remain as a part of her own audience. This is literally just how she acts.)
Q: Do you use AI for any part of the project?
A: i use it to clean up spotty code occasionally.
it's always a last resort. like an "UGHHHHHHHHH IM SO TIRED BUT I GOTTA GET THIS WORKING BEFORE I GO TO BEDDDDDD" situation.
the code the ai generates is also seen as a "placeholder" of sorts, as most of that code must be rewritten for it to work perfectly.
tldr: i use it for quick patches to my spaghetti code, and that's about it.
Q: Do you use AI to write your work?
A: NO. i would never let my work be tainted by soulless hands.
Q: Do you have other writers?
A: nope! i will accept suggestions, but ultimately, all writing will be done by me and me only.
to clarify, i'm not against the idea of having other writers!! that's fine and valid.
but i feel like (and this may sound silly) i'm the only one who truly understands these characters.
although it may not seem like it right now, these characters have an EXTREME amount of depth to them.
so much so, that i feel like their story is worth sharing.
that's why i always sound so excited when updating!!!!! because it's actually how i feel for these characters.
i hope that one day in the future, i'll be able to show you the true magnitude of the depths.
Q: Why do all the characters have Japanese names?
A: oh, that's a simple one! a lot of the game is inspired by jpop, and the names are just kind of a reference to that.
i'm not intending to misappropriate a culture i am not a part of, i'm just a really big fan of jpop. i put it on whenever i do any work.
and then i do that neurodivergent thing where i imagine an animated music video involving my characters
like, for example:
i've been listening to お気に召すまま by Eve. (Also known by its English title: As You Like It) a lot lately.
i recommend you give this a listen:
youtube
from what i can tell, the song is about the complex emotions that the main character experiences when trying to confess to a girl. the hand man represents a part of him he doesn't like, the other versions of himself represent the other sides of his personality, etc. etc.
now THIS COULD BE WRONG. but if it's true, then i feel like this song would really resonate with rikiyo.
he would relate to how the main character's emotions seem to get in the way, because he's going through something similar.
he's scared to tell toshi he loves him for many reasons, one of which being his own emotions.
oops! hope i didn't give too much away there!
anyways thatll be it for tonight
sorry for the lack of progress, i'll try to get some done during this week!
love you all
-Callie

It's pretty striking just how powerful abstraction and programming can be. In my fourth year, I struggled with a final project where I spent days deriving the transfer functions for a 3 state variable, 5 force variable system. No individual part of the derivation was difficult, but it was long and tedious, and it's very easy to make some trivial error in 8 pages of hand written math that fucks everything up.
Now that I'm TAing the same class, and helping students with the same project, I can bring to bear my better understanding of matlab, and greater experience working with linear systems of differential equations, and I realized the code to solve this problem programatically looks something like this:
syms Ca Cb Tr Ca0 Cb0 Tr0 Tj Q state = [Ca Cb Tr Ca0 Cb0 Tr0 Tj Q]; steadyState = [2.5 1.5 325 4 0 300 350 50]; dState = [ Q*(Ca0 - Ca) - 2*exp(1/Tr)*Ca; Q*(Cb0 - Cb) + 2*exp(1/Tr)*Ca - 3*exp(1/Tr)*Cb; Q*(Tr0 - Tr) - 12*exp(1/Tr)*Ca - 15*exp(1/Tr)*Ca + Tj - Tr; ]; JdState = double(subs(jacobian(dState, state), state, steadyState)); A = JdState(:,1:3); B = JdState(:,4:end); s = tf('s'); G = (eye(3)*s - A)\B
That's it, a dozen lines of code. With a few tweaks, I could generalize this by parameterizing values that are currently just magic constants. With a few more tweaks I could generalize this to solve almost any system, all the user would need to do is provide the dState matrix and identify which variables are force variables and which variables are state variables.
It took me longer to write out this post than it did for me to solve that system, while it took me 3 days and an entire notebook of derivations to do it 7 years ago.

Expert Vehicle Servicing: What to Expect and Why It Matters

In the world of motoring, your vehicle is more than just a means of transportation. It's an investment, a necessity, and for many, an essential part of everyday life. To ensure your car runs smoothly and efficiently for years to come, expert vehicle servicing is vital. If you’re in Ayrshire and seeking reliable care for your car, expert vehicle servicing in Ayrshire offers peace of mind, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
This blog explores what expert vehicle servicing entails, why it's important, and what benefits drivers in Ayrshire can expect when choosing professional automotive care.
What is Expert Vehicle Servicing?
Expert vehicle servicing is a comprehensive maintenance process performed by trained automotive technicians. It includes a series of checks, tests, adjustments, and replacements designed to keep your car running in top condition. While regular maintenance, such as oil changes and tyre checks, is essential, expert servicing goes much deeper.
It typically involves:
Engine diagnostics and tune-ups
Fluid checks and top-ups (oil, coolant, brake fluid, etc.)
Brake system inspections
Battery health checks
Tyre condition and pressure evaluations
Suspension and steering assessments
Exhaust system inspections
Replacement of worn-out components
Servicing intervals usually vary depending on mileage or time since the last service. Many vehicles follow either an interim (every 6 months or 6,000 miles) or a full service (every 12 months or 12,000 miles) schedule.
Why Expert Vehicle Servicing in Ayrshire Matters
Ayrshire’s diverse terrain, from coastal roads to hilly inland routes, places unique demands on vehicles. Therefore, local drivers need to keep their cars well-maintained. Opting for expert vehicle servicing in Ayrshire ensures that your vehicle is equipped to handle the regional driving conditions safely and efficiently.
Here are the key reasons why expert vehicle servicing is crucial:
1. Safety First
Above all, vehicle servicing is about safety. Identifying and correcting potential faults before they escalate reduces the risk of breakdowns and accidents. Components like brakes, tyres, and steering systems directly influence driving safety. Regular servicing ensures these parts are in optimal working condition.
2. Boosted Vehicle Performance
A well-serviced vehicle runs more smoothly, consumes less fuel, and offers better handling. If you’ve noticed reduced acceleration or strange noises, expert servicing can address these issues early, improving your driving experience.
3. Cost Efficiency
While some may view servicing as an unnecessary expense, it's far more cost-effective than repairing major failures. Preventive maintenance helps avoid the high costs associated with breakdown recovery, part replacements, and even voided warranties due to neglect.
4. Extended Vehicle Lifespan
Routine expert servicing ensures your vehicle runs longer and more reliably. By keeping components in good shape, you reduce wear and tear and prolong the overall life of the engine, transmission, and other crucial systems.
5. Preserved Resale Value
If you plan to sell your vehicle in the future, a full service history adds significant value. Buyers are more likely to pay a premium for a car with a documented record of expert vehicle servicing.
What to Expect from Expert Vehicle Servicing in Ayrshire
When you book expert vehicle servicing in Ayrshire, you can expect more than just a basic check-up. Here’s what a professional service typically includes:
Thorough Visual Inspection: Identifying leaks, corrosion, or damage.
Electronic Diagnostics: Reading fault codes from the onboard computer to detect hidden issues.
System-Specific Checks: In-depth analysis of the braking, suspension, and exhaust systems.
Serviceable Parts Replacement: Including air filters, oil filters, spark plugs, and more.
Road Testing: Ensuring everything functions as it should under real driving conditions.
Most expert servicing centres also offer tailored service plans depending on your vehicle’s age, mileage, and usage habits.
Choosing the Right Service Provider
When looking for expert vehicle servicing in Ayrshire, consider the following:
Qualified Technicians: Look for trained professionals with relevant experience.
Transparent Pricing: Ensure you understand what’s included in the service package.
Good Reputation: Reviews and word-of-mouth recommendations are excellent indicators of quality.
Warranty Protection: If your car is under warranty, make sure the service complies with the manufacturer's guidelines.
Remember, a reputable service provider will always keep you informed, offer honest advice, and never pressure you into unnecessary repairs.
Seasonal Servicing Tips for Ayrshire Drivers
Winter Servicing: Cold temperatures can affect battery life, tyre pressure, and visibility. Make sure your vehicle is winter-ready with antifreeze checks, wiper replacements, and battery testing.
Summer Servicing: Long journeys and higher temperatures demand attention to coolant levels, air conditioning performance, and tyre wear.
Seasonal servicing ensures your vehicle is prepared for the climate-specific challenges of Ayrshire.
Final Thoughts
Whether you're commuting daily, navigating scenic routes, or taking longer road trips, your car deserves the best care possible. Expert vehicle servicing in Ayrshire isn't just a routine task—it’s a proactive investment in your safety, savings, and vehicle longevity.
By choosing a trusted local service, you ensure that your car remains in excellent condition, regardless of weather or road conditions. Don’t wait for warning lights to appear—schedule your next expert vehicle service today and drive with confidence.
Stay safe, stay road-ready, and give your vehicle the expert care it deserves in Ayrshire.

Honda B123 Service Code: What It Means for Your Vehicle's Maintenance
https://autorepairlebanontn.com/?p=3704 Honda B123 Service Code: What It Means for Your Vehicle's Maintenance Ever noticed that mysterious “B123” code on your Honda’s maintenance reminder and wondered what it means? You’re not alone. This service code is Honda’s way of telling you it’s time for some exact maintenance tasks to keep your vehicle running smoothly. We’ve helped thousands of Honda owners decode these maintenance mysteries, and today we’ll break down exactly what the B123 service code means for your vehicle. Understanding these codes isn’t just about clearing that annoying dashboard light—it’s about protecting your investment and ensuring optimal performance for years to come. Table of Contents Toggle Understanding Honda’s B123 Service CodeWhat Does the B123 Service Code Include?B Service Components Explained1 Service Component Breakdown2 Service Component Breakdown3 Service Component BreakdownWhen Is B123 Service Typically Required?Mileage IntervalsTime-Based RecommendationsDIY vs. Professional B123 ServiceDIYProfessionalTools and Parts NeededStep-by-Step DIY ProcessCost of Honda B123 ServiceDealership vs. Independent Shop PricingBenefits of Timely B123 Service MaintenanceConclusionFrequently Asked QuestionsWhat does the B123 service code mean on a Honda vehicle? When does the B123 service typically appear? How much does a B123 service cost? Can I perform the B123 service myself? What maintenance tasks are included in the B123 service? Why is regular B123 service important? How does Honda’s maintenance minder system work? What’s the difference between dealer service and independent shops for B123? Understanding Honda’s B123 Service Code Honda’s B123 service code represents a exact combination of maintenance tasks your vehicle needs. This alphanumeric code appears on your maintenance minder system when certain service intervals are due. Each character in the code (B1, B2, and 3) corresponds to different maintenance requirements that should be addressed together. The “B” in the code indicates it’s time for an oil change plus additional mechanical inspections. All B-type services include oil and filter replacement along with a comprehensive multi-point inspection of your Honda’s vital systems. These inspections cover brake components, suspension parts, fluid levels, and various mechanical systems to ensure everything’s functioning properly. The “1” component specifically calls for tire rotation and balance. Regular tire rotation extends tire life by promoting even wear across all four tires. This service helps maintain optimal handling, improves fuel efficiency, and ensures consistent performance from your tires. The “2” indicates it’s time to replace your air cleaner element, check drive belt tension, and replace the dust and pollen filter. These components affect both engine performance and cabin air quality. A clean air filter allows your engine to breathe properly, while fresh cabin filters ensure you’re breathing clean air inside the vehicle. The “3” in the code signals the need to replace transmission fluid and transfer case fluid (if applicable). Fresh transmission fluid helps protect the internal components of your transmission system, ensuring smooth shifting and preventing premature wear of expensive components. Honda’s maintenance minder system calculates these service intervals based on your actual driving habits rather than arbitrary mileage points. The system tracks engine revolutions, operating temperatures, and other factors to determine when maintenance is truly needed. This approach often results in fewer service visits while still protecting your vehicle properly. What Does the B123 Service Code Include? The Honda B123 service code contains exact maintenance tasks that your vehicle requires. This comprehensive code combines multiple service indicators, each representing different maintenance needs for your Honda. B Service Components Explained The “B” portion of the service code indicates a series of essential inspections that need to be performed. These inspections cover critical safety components including brake system checks, wiper blade examination, light functionality tests, and thorough inspections of other vital vehicle systems. Honda technicians typically evaluate fluid levels, hoses, and connections during this part of the service to ensure everything operates correctly. 1 Service Component Breakdown The “1” in the B123 code specifically calls for an engine oil and filter change. Fresh engine oil provides proper lubrication to moving engine parts, reducing friction and preventing premature wear. This fundamental maintenance task helps maintain optimal engine performance and extends the overall lifespan of your Honda’s engine by removing contaminants that accumulate during normal operation. 2 Service Component Breakdown Tire rotation forms the core of the “2” service component. When Honda’s maintenance system displays this indicator, it’s time to have your tires rotated to promote even wear patterns across all four tires. Even tire wear not only extends tire life but also helps maintain balanced handling, traction, and fuel efficiency. Most Honda service centers follow manufacturer-exact rotation patterns designed for your particular model. 3 Service Component Breakdown The “3” in the service code signals that your Honda requires transmission fluid replacement. This crucial maintenance item keeps your transmission system properly cooled and protected. In some Honda models, particularly those with all-wheel drive systems, the “3” service might also include replacing transfer case fluid. Fresh transmission fluid ensures smooth gear shifts and protects expensive transmission components from excessive heat and friction damage. When Is B123 Service Typically Required? The B123 service is triggered by Honda’s Maintenance Minder system based on your exact driving habits and vehicle conditions. This intelligent system monitors various factors to determine when maintenance is necessary rather than relying solely on fixed schedules. Mileage Intervals Honda’s B123 service typically appears around the 30,000 to 45,000 mile mark for most vehicle models. Different Honda vehicles may have varying intervals depending on their exact engineering requirements and components. The Maintenance Minder calculates these intervals using algorithms that account for engine revolutions, operating temperatures, and driving conditions rather than simply counting miles. Your driving style significantly impacts when this service code appears – highway drivers might see longer intervals than those who primarily drive in stop-and-go city traffic. Time-Based Recommendations Even if you haven’t reached the typical mileage threshold, your Honda might still display the B123 service code based on elapsed time. The system recognizes that certain maintenance items like fluid changes become necessary after exact time periods regardless of miles driven. For example, transmission fluid can degrade over time even in vehicles driven infrequently. Honda’s system generally factors in time periods of approximately one year when calculating service needs. Vehicles that sit unused for extended periods or are driven only short distances may receive maintenance reminders based primarily on these time calculations rather than accumulated mileage. DIY vs. Professional B123 Service Honda owners have two options when the B123 service code appears on their dashboard: tackle it themselves or visit a professional mechanic. Each approach offers distinct advantages and challenges depending on your mechanical aptitude, available time, and budget considerations. DIY DIY maintenance provides important cost savings compared to dealership service prices. Honda owners with basic mechanical skills can complete most B123 service tasks at home with the right tools and parts. Pros: Save $200-400 compared to dealership prices Gain intimate knowledge of your vehicle’s condition Complete tasks at your own pace and schedule Use OEM or aftermarket parts based on preference Cons: Requires special tools for certain procedures Takes 3-5 hours for inexperienced DIYers No warranty protection on your work Disposal of used fluids requires proper handling Professional Professional B123 service ensures factory-trained technicians handle your Honda maintenance using manufacturer-approved methods and parts. Pros: Technicians have model-exact expertise Service includes warranty on parts and labor Complete documentation for vehicle history Access to specialized diagnostic equipment No need to dispose of hazardous materials Cons: Costs $300-600 depending on model and location Requires scheduling and transportation arrangements May include suggested additional services Longer wait times during busy periods Tools and Parts Needed DIY Honda B123 service requires exact tools and parts to complete all required maintenance items properly. Having everything prepared before starting saves time and prevents mid-project interruptions. Required Tools: Oil filter wrench (sized for your Honda model) Torque wrench for proper bolt tightening Socket set with various extensions Floor jack and jack stands rated for your vehicle weight Drain pan with at least 5-quart capacity Funnel for fluid refills Tire pressure gauge Required Parts: 4-5 quarts of Honda-recommended engine oil Genuine Honda oil filter or high-quality equivalent Air filter element exact to your model Cabin (pollen) filter 3-4 quarts of Honda transmission fluid (DW-1 for most models) New crush washers for drain plugs Step-by-Step DIY Process Completing a Honda B123 service involves several distinct maintenance procedures that must be performed correctly to ensure your vehicle operates reliably. Engine Oil and Filter Change: Run engine for 5 minutes to warm oil Position drain pan under oil pan Remove oil filler cap and drain plug Allow oil to drain completely (15-20 minutes) Replace drain plug with new washer Remove old oil filter and install new one Add fresh oil to proper level Start engine to check for leaks Tire Rotation: Loosen lug nuts before lifting vehicle Raise one corner at a time with jack Support vehicle with jack stands Remove wheels and rotate according to pattern (typically front-to-rear crossover) Torque lug nuts to specification (usually 80-100 ft-lbs) Check and adjust tire pressure Air and Cabin Filter Replacement: Locate air filter box under hood (typically near intake) Release retaining clips or screws Remove old filter and clean housing Install new air filter and secure housing Access cabin filter (often behind glove box) Remove cover panel and old filter Insert new cabin filter with airflow arrows correctly oriented Reattach access panel Transmission Fluid Replacement: Locate transmission drain plug Position drain pan and remove plug Allow fluid to drain completely Replace drain plug with new washer Fill transmission with Honda DW-1 fluid Check level using dipstick or fill hole procedure Test drive and recheck fluid level Each procedure contributes to your Honda’s longevity and performance, making the B123 service an important maintenance milestone whether completed at home or by professionals. Cost of Honda B123 Service The cost of a Honda B123 service varies significantly depending on where you get it done and your exact vehicle model. Price differences between service providers can impact your budget planning for this essential maintenance. Dealership vs. Independent Shop Pricing Dealership service centers typically charge between $200 and $400 for a complete B123 service package. This price includes all the required maintenance items: engine oil replacement, tire rotation, air and cabin filter replacements, and transmission fluid service. Honda dealerships use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts and factory-trained technicians, which contributes to their higher pricing structure. Independent automotive shops generally offer more competitive rates compared to dealerships. Many Honda owners report saving 15-30% by choosing independent mechanics for their B123 service. These savings come without necessarily compromising on service quality, as many independent shops specialize in Honda vehicles and use comparable parts. The exact price at independent shops depends on their labor rates and parts markup, which vary by location and shop reputation. When comparing service options, it’s worth noting that dealerships often include complimentary multi-point inspections and sometimes provide loaner vehicles or shuttle services. Independent shops might offer more flexible scheduling and personalized service. Your decision eventually depends on your warranty status, budget constraints, and personal preferences about vehicle maintenance. Benefits of Timely B123 Service Maintenance Regular maintenance according to the Honda B123 service code delivers important benefits that extend beyond simply clearing the maintenance reminder light. Engine performance and longevity improve dramatically with timely oil changes and filter replacements that maintain optimal engine health by reducing internal friction and preventing contaminant buildup. These essential maintenance tasks help extend your Honda’s engine life by thousands of miles. Transmission health remains at peak condition when the transmission fluid is replaced as part of the B123 service. Fresh transmission fluid prevents overheating issues and reduces wear on critical transmission components, helping you avoid costly repairs that commonly result from neglected maintenance. Many Honda owners report smoother gear transitions and improved driving experience following transmission fluid replacement. Tire life and safety get a boost from the tire rotation component of the B123 service. Rotating tires ensures even wear patterns across all four tires, leading to extended tire lifespan and enhanced road grip. This practice improves vehicle handling in various weather conditions and reduces the risk of tire-related accidents caused by excessive tread wear on exact tires. Air quality and engine efficiency benefit from replacing both the engine air filter and cabin air filter. Clean filters allow proper airflow to the engine, optimizing fuel combustion and maintaining peak performance. Inside the cabin, a fresh pollen filter removes up to 95% of airborne contaminants, creating a healthier environment for you and your passengers during daily commutes. Preventive maintenance elements of the B123 service, like drive belt inspection, help identify potential problems before they escalate into major mechanical failures. Early detection of issues with belts, hoses, and other components significantly reduces the likelihood of roadside breakdowns and unexpected repair costs. This proactive approach to vehicle care provides peace of mind for long-distance travel. Overall vehicle reliability improvements represent perhaps the most valuable benefit of timely B123 service completion. Honda vehicles that receive regular maintenance according to their Maintenance Minder schedules typically demonstrate greater durability, fewer unexpected issues, and higher resale values when compared to vehicles with inconsistent maintenance histories. Conclusion The Honda B123 service code represents a critical maintenance milestone for your vehicle’s health and performance. By understanding what this code entails you’re empowered to make informed decisions about your car’s care whether you choose DIY maintenance or professional service. Regular maintenance according to the B123 schedule not only extends your Honda’s lifespan but also maximizes its performance safety and resale value. The investment in proper oil transmission fluid and filter changes along with tire rotation pays off through improved reliability and reduced long-term repair costs. Remember that Honda’s maintenance minder system is designed specifically for your driving habits ensuring your vehicle receives exactly what it needs when it needs it. Following these service recommendations is one of the best ways to protect your investment and enjoy trouble-free driving for years to come. Fate/Grand Order Anti-Primate Biosphere Tunguska Sanctuary Event Part 2
The Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary event just started in the Fate/Grand Order (#ad) (FGO) mobile game.

This event includes a total of 4 raid battles. These raids will give a lot of bond points or exp each time they’re cleared. This is especially so if you can field a party full of this event’s 5-star Craft Essence (CE).
Depending on a Servant’s rarity and bond level, you can get some Saint Quartz or SQ for increasing their bond level.
This is a continuation of another post. Had to split the posts apart since the 1st was getting really long already and was nearing the max limit of 30 pics per post.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Information
This fight has a total of 7 enemies. The battle will start with the main boss, Lostbelt: Beast IV, showing up on the field alongside 2 of their minions. Every time a minion is defeated, another will take their place. Once Lostbelt: Beast IV has been defeated, the battle will end.
Servants with the Demonic Beast trait have class advantage against Lostbelt: Beast IV.
This raid quest battle comes with 3 difficulties - 90, 90+, and 90++. The higher the difficulty, the higher the HP of the opponents.
You also get more drops or materials and QP or Quantum Piece. But these quests all give the same bond exp, which you can increase by equipping the event CEs and any other bond exp up CE.
Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Fight
I talk more about this in another post but I ended up clearing the level 90 raid over and over again with my level 100 NP1 (Noble Phantasm level 1) 5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) + double 5-star SSR Caster Altria Caster or Artoria Caster or Castoria.
The Mystic Code or MC I used was Halloween Royalty. Mélusine is equipped with a level 100 CE called The Black Grail. Was able to one-shot Lostbelt: Beast IV with this team and setup.
My Altria Caster is about to get to bond level 12. This will give me 30 SQ so I really wanted to get her to bond level 12 before this raid ends.
Kept repeating the level 90 raid quest until my Castoria finally got to bond level 12.
I talk more about this in another post but I used the 30 SQ I just got to pull on the currently still-ongoing Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon banner.
To my surprise, this pull actually gave me my 2nd copy of Mélusine. Hell, yes!
Anyway, after getting Castoria to bond level 12, I gave her a bond grail or Lantern of Chaldea but I didn’t want to bring her to the raids anymore because it was definitely not gonna last long enough for me to get her to another bond level.
So I started trying out other teams. Tried a Mélusine, 5-star SSR Pretender Oberon, and support Castoria team.

Don't remember much about this team anymore but IIRC, needed to use face cards in addition to Mélusine's NP in order to 1-turn the fight, at least for the level 90++ quest.

Also opted to try defeating the 1st 2 minions that appeared with Lostbelt: Beast IV. This would give me more items or materials.
It would also mean not needing to select the boss before firing Mélusine's AoE NP. When I was using Mélusine's ST Arts NP, I always need to make sure that I'm targeting the boss otherwise Tam Lin Lancelot will end up firing her Noble Phantasm on one of the mobs.
Tried Mélusine with double Oberon, Mélusine with double 5-star SSR Assassin Koyanskaya of Light and Mélusine with Oberon and Koyanskaya.

Don't remember all the exact details of these comps anymore but I remember being annoyed that Mélusine couldn't one-shot the level 90++ boss even at NP2.
I think I also tried the level 90 and 90+ quests with these teams and Mélusine couldn't one-shot the bosses there either.
Also tried to 3-turn the level 90++ quest with Mélusine, double Koyanskaya and Oberon with the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code.
Was able to 3-turn said quest even back when Mélusine was at NP1. Can’t defeat all the mobs though since she leaves one of them with a bit of HP on turn 1.
Next time I tried this fight, targeted the mobs with the highest HP and hit them with face cards, which helped to finish them all off.
That was great but it took way too much time what with having to tap the mob and make sure they’re being targeted.
Now that Mélusine was at NP2, clearing this quest became slightly easier but it still took time what with all the skills and such needing to be activated, all the animation and such that happens when the mobs are defeated and new ones show up, etc.
Even using the Order Change skill was taking a lot of time and, as usual, I thought it was a waste to bring a fully maxed out MC when I could be trying to level up my other Mystic Codes instead.
This was why, after a couple of tries, I tried to find a team that would let me one-shot the 1st wave of enemies. But, like I said, that wasn't working out at all, not if I wanted to use Mélusine's AoE NP and not bother with the Chaldea Combat Uniform MC.
Then I thought, taking 2 turns to clear a raid quest without needing to use the Chaldea Combat Uniform Mystic Code doesn't seem that bad.
Defeating some of the minions will give me more materials. Not needing to use the Order Change skill of the Chaldea Combat Uniform means I can level up my other Mystic Codes that aren't maxed out yet. And taking 2 turns to clear the fight is faster than having to take 3 turns.
So after a couple more tries and tests, ended up farming the level 90+ raid quest with Mélusine and double Koyanskaya.

If Mélusine gets at least 1 Buster card and/or enough of her cards to chain on the 1st turn, then she can clear the fight without needing to go to turn 2.

If Mélusine doesn't get or hardly gets any of her cards within the 1st 2 turns, then it would be necessary to go to turn 3 to finish off Lostbelt: Beast IV.
At first, whenever I was about to hit the 2 billion QP cap, or when I noticed that I was actually already at the cap, I would go and level up the skills of some of my Servants. But I found myself reluctant to do this.

I don't know. It feels like a waste to level up the skills of chars I don't or hardly ever use. And some skills require a seemingly exorbitant amount of materials that I'd rather not spend yet.
Managed to level up a few skills anyway before deciding not to bother anymore and just not caring or trying not to care even when I reached the QP cap.
Reaching the QP cap doesn't stop me from playing the game but it does mean not being able to get any more QP which is a waste.

Can't remember for sure now but the Halloween Royalty Mystic Code was at like level 6 or 7 or threabouts. Kept having it equipped until it finally reached level 10.
After that, I switched to the Anniversary Blonde Mystic Code. I only just recently got this from the Rare Prism shop so, IIRC, this was at around level 3-5 or thereabouts.
Cleared the Lostbelt: Beast IV Raid - Survival or the level 90 quest 43 times. Cleared the Lostbelt: Beast IV Raid - Affection or the level 90++ quest 10 times.

Cleared the Lostbelt: Beast IV Raid - Slaughter or level 90+ quest 182+ times. Took the above screenshot minutes before the raid ended. That was the last screenshot I managed to take but I was still able to do the level 90+ raid like 1 or 2 more times before it was all over.
Below are screenshots from the last fight I got to do before the raid ended:

Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event Raid Quest Battle 4 Bond Level Up
This is a list of chars or Servants whose bond level I was able to increase during the raid against Lostbelt: Beast IV:
5-star SSR Caster Tamamo-no-Mae went from bond level 9 to 10
5-star SSR Foreigner Abigail Williams went from bond level 5 to 6
5-star SSR Caster Altria Caster or Artoria Caster or Castoria went from bond level 11 to 12
5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine or Tam Lin Lancelot went from bond level 5 to 6
5-star SSR Berserker Morgan went from bond level 6 to 7
4-star SR Rider Marie Antoinette went from bond level 7 to 8
5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine or Tam Lin Lancelot went from bond level 6 to 7
5-star SSR Assassin Koyanskaya of Light went from bond level 8 to 9
5-star SSR Moon Cancer Sessyoin Kiara went from bond level 6 to 7
5-star SSR Archer James Moriarty or Archer of Shinjuku went from bond level 5 to 6
Shielder Mash Kyrielight went from bond level 5 to 6
1-star Archer Arash went from bond level 12 to 13
4-star SR Assassin Wu Zetian or Assassin of the Nightless City went from bond level 5 to 6
5-star SSR Lancer Mélusine or Tam Lin Lancelot went from bond level 7 to 8
5-star SSR Rider Leonardo da Vinci went from bond level 8 to 9
Bond Level Limit Release
After I finally managed to get Arash from bond level 12 to bond level 13, I removed him from my party.

For now, didn't want to bother giving him a Lantern of Chaldea since there was no way I'd be able to get him from bond level 13 to bond level 14 before the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary raids were all over.
But when I later noticed that I'd already reached the QP cap again, decided to go ahead and increase Arash's bond level cap although still not going to bother bringing him back to my party.

Using a Lantern of Chaldea to increase Arash's bond level cap now was simply another way to decrease my QP. At least this was something I was eventually gonna do anyway.
Thoughts about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Event
I like that this event has several raids that gave players the chance to farm a lot of items or materials, QP, and even bond exp. But it's really sad that the 4-star and 5-star CEs that increase the bond exp you get from the raids are locked behind the gacha.
You need to pull on the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary banners if you want to be able to get a lot of bond exp each time you run the raids.
At least the 3-star CE can also be obtained by using friend points, but considering it’s not on rate-up there and how bloated the pool already is on that banner, there’s no guarantee you can get one, especially if you don’t have a lot of friend points.
Didn't have any resources to spare to pull on the Tunguska Sanctuary banners since I was still trying to get more copies of Mélusine from her banner.
Thankfully, I was able to get copies of the 3-star CE from the friend points summons banner after using all of my friend points, but of course, the 3-star CE doesn't compare to the 5-star and even the 4-star one.
The 3-star CE gives 10% bond exp. When fully MLB, it gives 15%. The 4-star CE gives 20% bond exp. When fully MLB, it gives 25%. The 5-star CE gives 30% bond exp. When fully MLB, it gives 35%.
Anyway, I also wish the raids had lasted for a few days at least. Fortunately, was able to participate in all of them, but the same can't be said for everyone for various reasons like different time zones and conflicting schedules.
I talk more about this in another post, but there also ended up being an issue with one of the raids so everyone ended up missing out on it. Sadly, the compensation for that bug or issue wasn't that good.
Some Thoughts about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary Story
I thought the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary story was kinda meh. It doesn't help that also wasn't all that interested in the featured chars.
Noticed a lot of repetition and even filler in the story. It seemed like the chars were going over the situation and talking about what we already know over and over and over again.
Also noticed some typos here and there. For instance, take a look at the screenshot below where 5-star SSR Rider Taigong Wang says:
Nothing onerous, mind you. All I need is for you to do is sit tight and let me cast my spell in peace.

Anyway, that's it for now. I guess I can talk more about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary story and my thoughts about it in another post.
Conclusion
So, what about you? Did you pull on the Avalon le Fae Clear Support Mélusine (Tam Lin Lancelot) Pickup Summon and/or the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary banners? What do you think about the Anti-Primate Biosphere, Tunguska Sanctuary story and raids event?
Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions by leaving a comment below or by reblogging this post.
