Sup everyone!! I figured I’d introduce myself!

Name’s Eclipse and I’m a Sky Knight! Lol Jk but I am dating one. He’s the Sky Knight of the Storm Hawks uwu

I’m kind of new to the team, or… I already lived with them a year- it’s complicated- but anyway, it’s been a lot of fun so far! We’ve been on so many crazy adventures, maybe you can ask me about them :D

Time for the second twin to make her appearance! Meet Sora, Kato’s twin sister.

The younger one by 30 minutes, she’s actually the only twin Aerrow got to see being born since he was off on a mission during most of Eclipse’s labor. As soon as he saw her, he knew her name would be Sora, because it means sky :3

As much of a prodigy as her dad was, Sora showed a lot of skills and promise from a young age. Compared to her brother who was more timid, Sora was a social butterfly who liked talking to anyone about anything. She was also adventurous and ran headfirst into any challenge that came her way.

She could’ve made a great sky knight but Sora found her calling in skimmer making pretty early on. She found mechanic work and engineering incredibly fascinating and always wanted to learn what she could from her uncles Junko and Stork. Soon, she was trying to build her own skimmers in the hangar bay. Some more successfully than others.

Famously, she (illegally) entered the Great Race of Terra Saharr when she was only 10 years old and could’ve won too, if her skimmer hadn’t fallen apart halfway through… Aerrow was ready to ground her for a month for being so reckless but the Sky Knight of Saharr had another idea. She could spend the summer with them, learning all about the proper way to build a skimmer.

Eclipse thought it was a great idea, and after some convincing, Aerrow did too. It would be a great opportunity for her after all. That summer turned into another and another until eventually, Sora decides to settle down there as an adult and open a mechanic shop where she can fix and build as many skimmers as she wants.

Sora’s the responsible older sister type, always looking out for her siblings, including Kato. The twins may live apart now but they’ll always be the best of friends.

Fun facts:

Sora is Ace’s unofficial favorite grandchild.

She gets her freckles from Lightning Strike :3

Sora has metal bending powers! Really comes in handy for skimmer building. Her weapon of choice is is a battle axe.

Part 2 of the field guide is here quicker than expected!

As I’ve said before, all vampires have the ability to transform into a feral form so I won’t repeat it here.

But here’s some more info on a unique part of my vampire lore: Soul Marks.

All male vampires are born with a special marking on their back known as a “Soul Mark.” Soul Marks often take the shape of a symbol of their truest self. Most are other animals, like fish, mammals, birds etc. but some can be more abstract like the moon, or elements.

It is believed these come from the god of death, Astennu, since he was the first to have one.

Soul Marks are believed to be a way tods attract mates, the more interesting or flashy a marking is, the more attractive that tod is. Once a pair has committed themselves to each other, the vixen will gain her partner’s marking. The process can be painful, but it is only temporary.

In the case of two tods becoming mates, their markings will merge to create a new one.

After years, Kato has finally been drawn.

Born 30 minutes before his twin sister, Sora, Kato grows up to be the next Sky Knight of the Storm Hawks. A role he isn’t too enthused to play.

He’s timid and anxious by nature, choosing to stay out of the spotlight and let his more outgoing siblings get the attention, but it’s hard to hide when everyone’s looking to you to be just like your father.

Kato eventually learns to step out of Aerrow’s shadow and becomes a capable and talented leader.

He is Eclipse’s unofficial favorite and is very much a mama’s boy XD

Part 2 of the next gen design breakdowns!

Since Aerrow’s genes just went copy/paste with Xaria, I decided to point out what’s different between them XD

And then with Ryder, Eclipse’s genes finally gave her a mini me. His eyes are also a lighter green than Aerrow’s.

This was fun! Maybe I’ll do something like this again sometime.

They put the “squad” in Strike Squad, its Eclipse and Aerrow’s kids! As puppies :P
