do you think I should pull or save my gems for whatever upcoming event???? Im currently in need for card w singular element (esp water and fire) cause my luck is shit af and they keep giving me flora card but at the same time i dont want to cause Im planning to save for leona/jamil but also Im pretty much stuck on chap 3 bcs I dont have enough water card /(ㄒoㄒ)/

Hello! I'm so sorry for the late reply, but here's what i think! (And some pointers and tips from others that i have used):

1: Have you tried using a water card from a friend for the battles? I'm sure you have, and if that friend doesn't have a card that you need (elemental wise), you could try finding one eho does.Given this may take a while, but it is possible.

2: I think you using your gems for the upcoming event all depends on whether you think or know this card is going to help you. You could look into the info of the event banner and look at the cards that you are most likely to get. Such as the R or SR, look at those cards, and come to a conclusion if those R, SR cards would be good for your team and what you need as of right now. I myself always look into the event banners' info before pulling. As i explained before, i look at the cards that have a higher chance (percentage) of appearing and the importance of each card on said banner for my team.

3: For luck, I myself have very bad luck as well, unfortunately. It's not easy to get SSR cards or just one singular element. As you've probably noticed the banners do give you a guaranteed SSr card at 100 pulls (aka, 99 pulls, the 100th is the SSR card) The game does give you a tone of FREE resources if you were to play everyday and do every event and lessons. A guaranteed SSR card does tend to take 3000 gems.

4: The events are f2p. You can play casually and get everything done with no problems, which usually always means many SR cards for FREE. You can continue the game and chapters, probably with only SR cards. This works if you can make your cards stronger with the resources you get, so it's not indispensable, you use the gatcha. Of course, SSR cards do make things easier, but the game is not a "you can not pass without these certain cards"

5: Here's your chance of pulling each card type:

R: 83.5%

SR: 15%

Guaranteed SR: 98.5%

SSR: 1.5%

Guaranteed SSR: 100%

So, as you can see, getting an SSR card is no easy task for anyone. Except if you buy gems or have insanely good luck. There are three ways to summon/pull, one with keys, one with free gems, and one with paid gems. If you want more pulls, then you can buy a ten pull for $11.99

But to sum this all up, whether you summon/pull or not is all up to the pros and cons of doing so. If you're satisfied with the pros, then go ahead and summon/pull. 1. How did you get into the fandom? I forgot how i initially found maloki, but i remember wanting to get into more norse mythology media after researching the myths for a few months. then i found it and it was the first thing my brain latched onto so now... we're here !!!

27. How well do you think Matantei Loki teaches people about Norse mythology? Not at all, but better than other popular media based off of norse mythology (cough cough marvel). I think a lot of its base is pretty accurate though, save a few things here and there (such as heimdall being god of tactics and dawn? straight up wrong and incorrect and false and not true.)

28. Do you think the portrayals of Loki in Marvel Comics/the movie Thor/Norse mythology etc. are incorrect now that you've seen/read Matantei Loki? They're both just diff interpretations and portrayals. I'd say they're equally incorrect but maloki gets extra points for keeping Loki's family tree accurate because that is such a pet peeve of mine.

29. What do you first think of when the name Loki or Thor is mentioned? the guys from the mythology.

30. What do you think the ending will be like? Or do you not want it to end at all? Uhh heim gets his shit rocked and his ass kicked again. iirc odin comes back? don't really know much else but i know loki gets the eye staff at some point, he's the protagonist after all. roight so it takes him like forever to put on clothes for the day plus he's ultra stubborn and doesn't like help from Abby ( but sometimes he needs him anyway) so usually he either just stays nekkid around his own house or with a jockstrap since jockstraps are the only form of underwear he can wear bc of his big ass tail bc it fits perfectly around it

but when he does get a whole fit on often times he'll stay in it as long as non stinking possible lmfao he Will sleep in jeans sometimes bc brother those bitches took so long to put on, but if he's with Abby most of the time he'll take em off for nighttime (or Abby will help him out of his fit one way or another 😎) since he dont got sweat glands that cause bacteria, he can get away with wearing something longer than most but it will smell a lil Lizardy after a while esp. if he lets his depression get the best of him and wont be able to get up to change or shower but yeah he wears open tank tops and cut offs not just bc he's an asshole gym rat jock but also bc they're the only clothing that can go around his large arm spikes without ripping as long as hes careful

but sometimes he just says fuck it and rips his arms through like an alien spawn bc he personally thinks it adds a lil stylistic pizazz lmfao and sometimes he's gotta take off his shirts by pulling them down like pants

his pants are the same way he either has special tail buttons or velcro that close around the tail ( typically he needs Abbys help for this) or he just makes a big ass hole to shove his tail through

and yes the gag of probably seeing his asshole if he lifts his tail too high still stands

Literally like!! Genshin fandom has actually been one of the worse fandom experiences for me, and I think we can blame a lot of it on the game and its translation, but also it’s just so goddamn frustrating at times. That klc post was written before hidden strife but if anything the event further confirmed that their dynamic wasn’t ‘adopted siblings’ (despite eng translation as usual messing up everything including Kaeya’s opinion of their fight) and that Kaeya doesn’t view himself as a Ragnvindr. 

An AU where Kaeya would have been fully adopted could be potentially interesting, actually! Ragbros AU if you will. But for some reason people never really go for all the implications of that - how strongly it would influence Kaeya’s internal conflict and his abandonment issues, how Diluc would change his treatment of Kaeya, how differently another Ragnvindr progeny would be viewed in Mondstadt, would he succeed the Dawn Winery’s business, so many possibilities... But no, they simply take canon klc dynamic and twist it, ignoring all the discrepancies which point to a non-familial relationship. That tag is just one more annoying attempt at censure within fandom spaces, familiar to anyone who ever interpreted fictional relationships as homoerotic before (how dare you tarnish this beautiful brotherly or sisterly bond by your sinful delusions etc etc yawn). And big agree about Hidden Strife letters, they still represent the usual dynamic as is the norm for all those temporary events. But fandom sadly tends to go for extreme interpretations, either the characters totally hate each other or they are secretly totally fine and getting along splendidly... I guess maybe people are getting tired of this kind of one-sided relationship, so they want some kind of resolution one way or another, but I kind of like the place Kaeya and Diluc are in right now. It would be nice to get some more Diluc POV just to confirm whether he cares in a detached way or in a barely suppressed passionate & deep way, and/or if perhaps he does carry some hateful feelings towards Kaeya, but otherwise it’s just a really good starting off point for creating fan content.  Speaking only for myself, but it’s all the more bittersweet that there is a possibility that they won’t reconcile after all, that their paths might diverge, that their ideologies might already be irreconcilable without us knowing, that Diluc maybe doesn’t really care that much after all. With this in mind, positive outcomes such as reconciliation, a romantic relationship or a rekindling of friendship, are so much more impactful.

Oh I love both those bookstores!! I had a feeling you were talking about Arty Bees when you mentioned Wellington, but wasn’t so sure. I’m not from Welly so uhhh, thanks for the heads up about it being a dodgy area 😅😅 I make an effort to go to Artys everytime I’m down there, they’re real nice as well and once I bought way too many books so they posted them for me since I couldn’t take them on the plane. I need to check out their Motorsport section tho, I always seem to forget and miss it. Pegasus books I like but I kinda find the store more overwhelming, considering the high shelves and smaller store. I always struggle to find something in there cause of that, but I like the little area it’s in

oh i dont blame, pegasus is tricky to move around in, esp when its packed. if you ask someone to hold the ladders while you use them they'll usually be willing to help out!

and yeah most people dont know courtnays a bit fucked like that! as long as you walk quick and keep to yourself you wont run into trouble. motorsport section is at the top of the shelf 2nd or 3rd from the back of the nonfiction section, the one on the left when you walk in the store. it can be small sometimes, people tend to buy books from there in bulk.

i also dont know when you last were in welly but theres another secondhand store further up cuba! i cant remember its name but ive only been in once. theres also a bookstore called minerva thats not secondhand but is dedicated to books about crafts, ive found some cool stuff to do with quilting and sewing that i ended up noting down to grab on sale so its worth a look! close to my fav craft shop where i get my felt, yarn, buttons and needles, beads and fat quarters for projects, plus thats right next to my fav ice cream place (duck island) and thrift (better than spacesuit which its next to, that place is a rip off), which, if youre into motorsports, is a good place to find vintage racing jackets (i found a signed nascar jacket, bridgestone jacket, 3 leather + patched indycar jackets and some ford racing jackets). emporium (also on cuba) also have 4 vintage ferrari jackets, but of course theyre all $200-$400. Good quality! But something you'd need to save up a whiiile for.

What drew you out of the sort-of-trance was a two soft but firm knocks at the door - well Tom’s bedroom door. You’d been relaxing with him and Harry, watching the new ‘Line of Duty’ when your mum had called for the daily catch up. Admittedly, she had already tried to call you twice today but somehow you’d managed to miss both of them. On reflection, possible not that shocking because you’d been at a charity golf day with the boys which involved a fair amount of noise, chat and competition. 

Thankfully the boys had both done pretty well, Tom coming slightly ahead but that was the norm between the two. It meant they were both happily basking in their relative victories and not moody and grumpy like they are oh so often when things go wrong. Because to them, against your pleading, begging and sometimes lecturing…. golf was not just a game.  

You and your mum had always been very close, so usually speaking to her was uplifting and made you feel a little bit more complete - what with travelling with Tom for work, her voice was a slice of home. This time though, it was not so much the case. It was just sad news about your home town. Nothing directly to your family or close friends but still, it makes you feel generally down. 

Who knows how long it’d been since you’d hung up on the phone, just staring at the wall opposite. Everything felt just hollow and empty, lacking in meaning somewhat. You weren’t necessarily thinking, more like devoid of emotion, of thoughts, of anything. Just a bit cold. 

“Y/n…Y/n?” His voice sounded hesitant, as though scared he was interrupting your call. When you didn’t respond, the door cracked open and his fluffy head poked in, not that you noticed - your brain was still half absent. Tom on the other hand, was instantly looking you up and down, very much confused as the why you looked so rigid and not present. Noticing the phone was lying quiet on the bed in front of you, he felt safe to enter. He made a beeline for the bed, perching himself down on the edge, in-front of you - so he was blocking your fascinating view of the grey wall opposite. 

“What’s going on in that little head of yours?” His voice was soft and gravely, choosing not to put much energy into his vocal box as he rubbed up and down one of your arms. 

“Hmmm? Sorry, was miles away.”

“Could tell darl.” As he chuckled his eyes crinkled round the outside. “How was your mum?”

“Yeh…um okay, I-I guess.” As much as you wanted to shake yourself out of it, it just wasn’t that easy. Everything was laced with this underlying chilliness. 

“You sure? You dont really sound it?” 

“No, I um…well I’m not sure. I think I’m okay?”

“What happened?” You shook your head in response, making Tom press his lips together with a small nod. “ Don’t wanna talk about it huh?” 

“Not… not right now. Please?” 

With a permitting nod, Tom stood up and squeezed your hand, urging you to follow. Trailing behind him into the living room, he then instructed you to take a seat on the sofa adjacent to Harry, Tom himself disappearing back into the house. It made you pout a little, you wanted him to just look after you a little this evening but that self pity wasn’t allowed to last long - because a piece of popcorn flew into your cheek. You whipped your head around, with mouth open feigning shock, to see Harry smirking at you cradling a bowl full of other possible missiles in hand. 

“And what was that for?” He shrugged his shoulders, turning his head back to the TV.

“You looked sad.”

“…” Your mouth was open, no words coming out though, as you looked at the frizzy haired boy in bemusement. Sometimes you thought you understood how his head worked but at other points, the boy was a bloody mystery. Instead of explaining his thought process (because there almost certainly wasn’t one), he just smiled evily at you - wiggling his brows. And I know you know what that meant.

Sure enough by the time Tom reentered the room, arms full with different objects he’d collected round the house, the floor had been littered with popcorn kernels. You and Harry were squealing at each other as handfuls of the snack were catapulted vaguely at each other as you chased him round the room. It took Tom shouting at the both of you for you to freeze, slowly lowering your hands in ceasefire with a giggle. 

“I leave you alone for two minutes.”

“ It was his fault!” You protested, causing a 5 minute of ‘ he said-she said’ between the two of you, even if Tom wasn’t listening to the bickering. Instead, he quickly whizzed round the room picking up all the obvious popcorn bits and then spread out all the blankets he’d got from round the rented house on the sofa.

 You knew Harry, in his very own and special way, was only doing all this to cheer you up and you couldn’t appreciate it more. Your relationship with him had recently got so much closer, thanks to Tom being busy on set actually filming - while you and Harry just had some quality ‘almost sibling’ times. And now living with him too - naturally he had grown to know your tells almost as well as Tom. 

“Alright children calm down… thought we could watch movie?” Plopping himself down on the cream seat, Tom made grabby hands to you which of course you had to comply with. 

“I’ll um… I’m gonna leave you to- well to the being in love shit. It’ll make me chunder”

“We love you too bro” Tom called to Harry, who was already on his way out - but the tone of gratefulness in his voice was evident, he appreciated Harry noticing that the two of you could do with time together. 

“Don’t make it weird!” Harry’s response had you sniggering, as you pulled the fluffiest blanket over both you and Tom and nestling into his side. 

After a few minutes of Tom pretending to argue with you about film choice, before ultimately agreeing with your choice of ‘La la land’ as he always planned on letting you. The Holland boys were both very talented at subtly being a shoulder if needed, and yes you knew it was all an act - but you weren’t about to call him out. About halfway through he kissed the crown of your head and murmured. “Can tell you’re not watching darling.” He wasn’t wrong to be fair. Yes, you were looking at the screen - but your mind was far away from the plot line. 

“Sorry I um… minds like a runaway train sometimes.” Tom released a breathy chuckle at that before murmuring a ‘come ‘ere’ to you as he all but lifted you up from sitting by his side. You ended up lying almost onto of him, with both of Tom’s strong arms holding you tightly to him. Smiling into his chest, you nestled closer so the soundtrack to the movie played over the top of his constant thudding heartbeat. It took a few moments of you both just staring into the screen, completely contented for Tom to speak, squeezing you slightly tighter whilst the two of you watched Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone twirling on the road.

“I gotchu now lovie” 

And you swore then that all the thoughts racing in your mind were outpaced by those of a different kind. Still intense ideas, ones that buzzed round your brain, but these were happy. Thoughts of ‘how could I be so lucky’ and ‘I love this man with my whole heart’. 

Apparently these thoughts were also a comfort because when Tom looked down at you after what must’ve been at least half an hour, you were spark out. Breathing deep and unchanging, eye locked shut and mouth slightly squashed against his chest so your lips were pressed together. But what made the boy physical pout was the way you relaxed hand was loosely balled round a fistful of his purple hoodie. As if you were clutching at him to keep him as close to you as possible. 

He felt so grateful - not only for you, but also for the fact that he had the ability to make it a little better. You didn’t need him - Tom swore you were one of the most fiercely independent people he’d ever met - yet it was clear you wanted him. You wanted him when you felt down, the same way you wanted to be around him when you were overly hyper and chatting pure rubbish. You didn’t want him because he was the ‘Tom Holland’ you wanted him because he was Tom. 

He couldn’t fix what was going on back at your home (I mean right now, he still didnt even know what was going on). But he did know how to make everything just a little less shit. He knew how to be your person. 

And that would forever be job Tom was most proud of.

OKAY SO the two main ships I have for Kaito are Oumota and Saimota, Saimota is my fave ship and Oumota is my fave comfort ship! The other ships I rlly like with him are Akamota, Amamota, and Momoharu, i pretty much read any fic that has him paired with someone but these are the ones i search for on my own whereas the others its a "i'll read 'em if i come across em" type of deal! Reasons: I am a goddamn sucker for thematic parallels, enemies to friends to lovers, and the rivals tropes 🌚 I dont even know how i fell into the oumota hole, cause i didnt consider it much in game, but after reading a few fics it just made me so happy! I love their banter and clashing personalities and stubborness lol, and goddamn, the post game/hangar fics for them are *chef's kiss*

-The way Kokichi tried to get Kaito to see he had feelings for him was by bothering/pranking the absolute shit out of him, but Kaito's dense to these things so he didnt even realize Kokichi stopped bothering other ppl to target him specifically

-When Kaito realized he had feelings for Kokichi, his initial reaction was "oh fuck oh no why him pls no-"

-Eventually Kokichi had to directly tell him to his face he liked Kaito cause Kaito wasn't getting the message at all

Reasons: CAUSE YES!!! From the beggining of Shuichi being the main, Kaito is there for him and supports him so much and makes sure Shuichi is okay, he's just so supportive and loving and helpful and motivational and he's something Shuichi def needed to move forward in the killing game! I just fucking love their dynamic and how they help each other and how they balance each other out as well, plus the whole hero and sidekick thing is adorable! AND OFC THE FAMOUS "i shouldnt be talking about another boy like that" LINE ASDFGHJKL ITS CANON OKAY

Hc's:

-Shuichi confessed first, it took a few times for him to get his feelings across properly bc each time he said something like "i like you" or whatev kaito was like "aw bro i like you too!"

-Kaito tried to get over his crush on Shuichi bc he thought Shuichi wouldn't go for someone like him (i hc him being kinda insecure and covering it up with that confident persona of his)

-Shuichi isn't big on physical contact, but he makes the exception for Kaito bc he's always so warm and gives the best hugs

-Shuichi is the only person who Kaito lets see him vulnerable, it took a lot of time but he eventually learned to stop bottling everything with Shuichi

-Kaito constantly takes Shuichi stargazing, its his fave thing to do and Shuichi is ever so happy to accompany Kaito and listen to space rambles

-Their first kiss was beyond awkward and Shuichi nearly fainted but they got the hang of it eventually

🌌🥑 Amamota 🥑🌌

Reasons: I literally saw an amamota fic on ao3 and it won me over oops- to me it just makes sense! They're both adventurers in a way and i love their personalities together, Kaito's boisterous nature would be a nice change of pace for the ever calm Rantaro and Rantaro's mellow nature would be something refreshing for Kaito y'know?

Hc's:

-Kaito always tried helping Rantaro catch up in classes bc he always misses 'em to travel and he was always the first one to welcome him back

-Rantaro got attached to Kaito and didnt even realize it until he came back one day and kaito wasnt there to greet him (cue disappointed rantaro and bAM thats when he realized)

-Kaito loves hearing about Rantaro's travels, he's always asking for pics and details

Reason: I just think they'd be sooo cute together 🥺 Kaito and Kaede are both positive people who try to help others and their personalities fit so well together! Idk man it just makes sense to me

-Kaito absolutely loves hearing Kaede play the piano, sometimes he'll sneak record her so he can listen to it whenever he's feeling down

-Kaede tries teaching him how to play the piano, instruments aren't his thing but he tries his best in the lessons cause it makes her happy

-Maki confessed it ever so casually while mid training, which literally made Kaito fall over in shock

-Kaito loves Maki's hair, he could spend hours playing with it and he always helps her brush it

-Maki hates her scars, but Kaito's always there to kiss em and remind her how beautiful she is, he always traces constellations on 'em when they cuddle

-Maki's constantly scared she'll accidentally hurt Kaito, or that he'll get hurt bc of her past

about my life, well, while i was out out of tumblr i started writing a journal but it's not the ordinary journal where you go "dear diary" or smth like that lol it's like a poetic journal where i write my feelings into metaphor so it's sort like a memoir but it's also my journal. that has been helping me a lot through tough times, so thanks to writing AGAIN and as always for giving me a room to breathe. also, i had an interesting interaction with a childhood enemy we had like a situationship going on like a month ago but LMAOOOO MEN ARE MEN IG i chose not to talk to him anymore lmao it's a long story for next time maybe. and something exciting probablyyyy... i had my first job 2 weeks ago! im lucky to land a nice job so currently im quite busy with trainings and all that but im enjoying it so far!

I’ve been on and off Tumblr and usually just go on to read some stuff on my favorite fandoms which surprisingly there isn’t a lot of the things im looking for!! I’ve really taking a liking to My Hero Academia but specifically 3 characters- Best Jeanist, Edgeshot, and Stain which there is like NO new content on them!! I haven’t finished the anime yet since im more of a manga reader than an anime watcher 😔

but more on Best Jeanist- I have become addicted to his character 😭 I’ve rebranded some of my usernames to him and I have a collection of merchandise of him on my shelf!! It started as a joke but it’s not a joke anymore!! same with Stain and Edgeshot, but most of my money has gone to Best Jeanist. I’m so sad there’s not much content on him, I say I’ll just write my own but that isn’t true- LOL but that’s ok, I can just use my free time to think of silly little scenarios of him in my head!!

I’ve always been taking a liking to making an OC and just my oc overall!! She’s mainly a MHA oc with a freaky blood/guts/gore manipulation power (it’s kind dark but I think it’s cool) and omg she’s taken up so much of my time and brain space, I feel like I’ve done more in depth creation of her than of myself 😂 I’ve also been buying a lot of art commissions of her!! I’ll attach a few images below, but I like talking about her so much that if I end up coming back here I might do some writing for her since I’d love someone or some place to talk about her :) all credits to the locket artists, I don’t think any of them have Tumblr though-: (the first image is her with Best Jeanist and the last is her with Stain!!)

I also have gotten into JJK but im still new to it, only watching the first couple episodes and reading the leaks 😭 which is a GREAT way to start omg

Also, don’t you love it when old hyper fixations come back??!??! yeah, that’s me right now with Mortal Kombat!! I’ve been a fan for almost 10 years now and the new game is so good!! and the characters omg… they made them so good 😍 thankfully Tumblr has a lot on them!!

but other than some things coming and going there hasn’t been a lot of new stuff in my life but compared to last year my mood and health has been so much better which is a win in my eyes, plus im starting to like a new guy which is good because I got my heart absolutely shattered little over a year ago and I swear I thought I was never going to recover, but recovery is possible and I give myself a lot of credit for the things I’ve done despite life seemingly staying the same.

I hope to move out of my parents house soon and continue my education further and my social life and all that but ik that won’t happen until a few years which seems like forever but seeing how 2023 has gone by so fast, I have a feeling it’s going to come quicker than it seems

I always say I want to come back to writing on this app and honestly I am in need of a new hobby because yeah listening to music is great but it doesn’t get you far!! which by the way, also a hyper fixation, bands and music and all that- I am really big into Nirvana right now and plan on dressing up as the lead singer Kurt Cobain for Halloween- which is funny I am dressing up because for the first time I have no plans for Halloween!! I’ll probably just bake some goodies and watch scary movies. How is Halloween celebrated where you are, if at all? American culture is so funny- and it’s funny because America doesn’t have much culture, it’s just one big melting pot which makes it unique

Speaking of music, my favorite artists are probably Nirvana (which is a band) and so is Radiohead, Weezer, The Smiths, Ghost, and Korn (which are rock/metal bands, I really recommend them if you’re into that!!) but I also really like Melanie Martinez, Lana Del Rey, Mitski, Alex G, and a couple other solo artists (fun fact, I went to many concerts over the summer including Melanie and Weezer- they were so good!!) what kind of music do you listen to? any you recommend?!

Half way typing this too, I thought of the idea of coming back to Tumblr to write not just drabbles on my current hyper fixations but maybe some life advice and psychology stuff, I have a way with words and advice and all that even though I am considered “to young to know all this” but I see it as both good and bad having an old soul at a young age- and not to say I am a little child either, but I haven’t even been on this earth for 20 years yet, soon enough though

That all being said, I feel like a huge chapter of my life is coming to a wrap up soon and I am excited to start the new one!! I’ve been on this app forever even though I technically shouldn’t have had Tumblr as a pre-teen but hey, we all start somewhere!!

It’s “late” where I am- actually it’s just 9:30 but I go to bed early especially when I have things to do the next day 😔 I’ll probably just use the excuse I am tired to run to Starbucks and spend my money like I always do. I really have become addicted to Starbucks and it’s only going to worsen as “Capitalism Christmas” comes next

Holidays are so silly to me too, I don’t really enjoy them because they’ve always seemed to cheesy and not like they “advertise” but I hope to make the best of it this year, even if it just ends up being me working that day and then coming home to my dog. What Holidays do you enjoy? Any certain traditions or events you’re looking forward to?

heyo eon i need some advice on smth bc i dont know if i have any ground in this or if im just being a spoilt brat. to preface this im a high schooler and i dont have access to my own debit/credit card/electronic money and rely on asking my parents to order stuff online for me (i usually pay for at least half of it esp if its something expensive) and bc of this my parents and i make deals a lot like i'll do x amount of chores for them to place an online order, chores are kinda like currency (though i dont get an allowence cause they pay for a lot of stuff for me) and i dont mind this its a fair trade especially if im not paying fully for the thing im buying. when i do mind is when they alter the deals midway through like if we agree they'll order somthing for me if i watch my sibling for a few hours and that deal is set like a contract but then suddenly they'll turn around and say no u have to watch your sibling and do the dishes for the week and vaccum the living room. i hate it when they do this it rlly upsets me because i feel like i dont have any control over anything and theylre messing with things that are already set like arent there rules to deals it makes me anxious and panicky. it also might be an autistic thing idk,

hey anon! first off, you are not being a spoiled brat, I got a bit pissed off on your behalf just reading this. altering the deal midway through is lying, plain and simple. if someone says "I'll do x if you do y", then you do y and they don't do x, they lied to you and that's not ok. someone who does this routinely is using that lie to manipulate you into agreeing to something that they think you might not have agreed to otherwise. if you feel like you could bring this up with your parents, I would definitely recommend doing so! you might want to include:

possibly starting with that you appreciate that they help you pay for things (it sounds like this is true, making someone feel appreciated never hurts, and it might make them more likely to listen to what you have to say instead of dismissing you)

explain what's upsetting you and why

ask for what you'd prefer they do (for example, to just tell you the whole list at the beginning instead of changing it halfway through). you could maybe emphasize that you aren't trying to get out of chores, you just want consistency and honesty

for example: "I really appreciate that you help me pay for things in exchange for chores, but it makes me really upset when the deal changes halfway through because [all of the reasons you just said]. if you want me to watch my sibling, do the dishes, and vacuum in exchange for helping me pay for the thing, please just tell me that from the beginning instead of adding it later! I'm happy to do it, but I really need to know from the beginning so I can plan for it and feel like the deal is honest. in the future, could you please think of all the chores you want me to do when we first make the deal, and then not change it once we agree?" (obviously you'll have your own way of saying this, this is just an example. also, sending a text or writing a note can be a good way of making sure you say everything you wanted to if you're like me and tend to forget everything you planned to say as soon as you're faced with confrontation)

I don’t know your parents and I don't know how receptive they would be to confrontation, but I hope they would hear you out! you could also start writing down the deal when it's made as proof of what they said in case they later try to pretend that wasn't the deal you made. you are so 100% not in the wrong for wanting your parents to just be honest with you. good luck!

alright i finally watched the vod and heres my take and opinions:

i think there will always be a time people make mistakes, because as we all know anyone who is human makes mistakes

but the biggest thing to do after one makes a dumb mistake, is if that person is willing to understand and change for the better

and for me, dream is just dumb at times, and he makes those dumb rash decisions, but he never does it in spite or to hurt. i know its not an excuse for what hes said and done, and i do agree he needs to learn from these mistakes.

i dont agree in some of his takes and opinions (like the doxxing one, etc) but i understand his pov and i am willing to take a chance on him, because i know that he is trying to be better, and that hes a good person at heart

it doesnt excuse what he said or what hes done negatively in the past, but i can see he is trying. and everyone should be given the chance to change for the better.

so ill support him still, and if people dont like that then thats okay too, thats your own opinion and feelings and i respect you for that, i just hope you respect mine too

the top part is my general statement for the whole thing, but down here is my more deeper? i gues thats the word, thoughts on the matter and just a heads up this is just be word vomiting my thoughts so it may not be understood well and is messy because i just needed to vent it out

i think that in twitter, esp how antis and some people already have a neg look on dream, i think its better for him to say wether or not hes sarcastic or serious etc; not because i dont believe him or dont know the difference when hes making jokes, but this is twitter, and this is the only app where what you say will be so twisted and changed from what you originally made just because thats how another person understood it, so in my opinion, you just have to state what you say without sarcasm or fakeness, and if you are being sarcastic or more aggresive, its better to post them with tone tags- and yes i know he has stated that people and antis twist those tone tags either way and thats why he stopped using it, but i think the tone tags are for the people that do like dream, or dont know about him, people who dont see him in a negative light, who have neutral opinions on him, because people can and will misinterpret what you say, especially words that seem more aggresive than usual

and as sad as it is, because of how big dreams community is, there are a lot more eyes on him, and because of the existing stigma over his community, he has to be more careful in responding, esp if its in a more aggresive or sarcastic tone

so tone tags help with those that have neutral or positive stand point, because dreams words coukd get misinterpreted, you know how twitter is, and so people will get hurt and talk about it. thats why in the first place, we have to avoid rhose things from happening in the future

so in general, in terms of twitter responses that dream does, i think he needs to stop being so rash in responding or posting his thoughts, i know thats kind of the point of him being transparent, but people will change what he says and will twist his words, so he just needs to posts less things that could be misinterpreted, or if he does, he should put tone tags to make sure people know what he means

he needs to be more careful in what he says too, private or not, because there are account that posts those things in public, and they will respond to it regardless if its on private, and though i understand and accept that dream is not the type of person to send hate, there is and always will be fans who do. there are toxic individuals who will go out of their eay to be toxic and to hate, theyre just the same as the antis, just in different teams ig. and because of this, interacting with any hate, and any prq of those antis or dream dislikers will cause fans and people to interact with them

and i believe that anyone should be able to defend themsleves over the dumb thing people say, especially if its a personal thing, but i also agree that with such a big community, its also your responsibility to be careful and to interact less with antis, its like, fanning the flamea you know? because thos eantis already have a biased view of you, and they wont change their opinions of you anytime soon, so instead of focusing on those people who hate you and responding to them, maybe put more focus on those that do like you or are neautral towards you and making aure they dont misinterpret what you are saying

yes i know thats one of the biggest ways to talk and interact with the community but its also just a toxic and harmful place to be in, some ccs was right when he said twitter is just an app where people shout what they feel and if things dont go their way they just shout louder, its a place where understanding and respect is not the first response, bwcause it seems like twitter is mostly quick and rash responses: people who love jumping the gun. and those that are more level headed are often become invisibke because of the loudness of the toxic ones

but that doesnt mean he has to drop twitter, i just think he needs to manage his time better using the app, maybe using it less if his mental state is not that good at the time.

also, with how he responds to critisism, i think he needs to take more time to answer them. like tricky or more other cc oriented responses, i think it needs more time to write and understand your answers first, make sure people dont misinterpret it or take it the wrong way

about doxxing, toxicity, hate, antis

ngl i disagree with his statement on doxxing, dont get me wrong, i understand what he meant and in an objective stand point it makes sense, because out of all the billions of people in the world, you are just one guy you know? and in the large scale of things, its not likely for someone to go out of their way after doxxing to hunt you down (like example fr me: the one doxxing is in america, im in asia. what will he do?? board a plane and find me??? like??) its also like how the Anonymous (the Vendeta people) will usually target bigshots and not just random people in the internet

but for me personally, it was a little crude, his wording (which i understand happens because you know we people cant really say words right) because there are still indiviudals who are actually scared or have reason as to why they are afraid of being doxxed

it could be a personal family thing, they could be in hiding or running away, maybe someone was watching their phones etc and finding info on that would hurt them; its just very situational. and it could also be a small percentage that get affected this way, but it still exists

thats why i dont really agree on it and what dream said on the topic, it could be a big deal for someone else, it could cause them pain and anxiety and we wouldnt know about it or feel the same

like me, idc if i get doxxed really but others wont feel the same way obviously, because for me, i have nothing to fear or i blessed enough that i dont have to run from something, but other people arent the same so i feel for them

a person should never, ever force someone to come out. and here, its obvious dream was forced to do so. and that just breaks my heart

you can light heartedly joke about it yes, or just have fun, but actually seriously speculating someones sexuality is just invasive and insensitive; ill be honest that whenever i reblog or posts stuff about dnf or any shipping or jokes about sexuality, that was really just it, jokes. light hearted humour. i only state the ones i see that dream said or posted himself, or ones he himself obviously implied,

in all honesty, assuming and analyzing someones sexuality is not good because youre treating them like their characters to be speculated on, and they are not. they are real people with real feelings and emotions and sexuality is his own private life. we should never assume someones sexuality, take what they say at face value. trust what they are saying, what they themsleves hinted at, but if you yourself are going on a detective spree on what you think dream is or ccs are sexuality wise, then stop that right now because thats their own lives: or atleast have the decency of doing it in a personal or private account, you can speculate all you want there, heck, tumblr wise, you can like and heart things, just make sure you dont announce it to the world (another thing i hate about twitter you cant lock likes away like you can in tumblr)

and dream even has a close friend who is lgbtq, most of his freinds are and also his group and people he interacts with are known to be open and accepting of them and he even donated moeny to the cause! i dont understand how someone could thing he doesnt support lgbtq when its so obvious that he does, theres proof too!

and for people and antis to force him into saying his sexuality is so disheartening because its happened so many times. and what i dont get is how people are saying that 'being lgbtq means everyone is accepted and loved regardless' but then when dream is saying he is its suddenly a no?? its odd because its like theyve never experienced the fear and anxiety of facing many people who could judge you and hurt you by stating who you are, but here dream has to keep doing it every single time and people still doubt him and invalidate him??

to the point he had to say he 'wasnt straight' just because everyone was being an asshole to him??? wheres the openness and love in the lgbtq community now huh? where is the kindness? is this how you treat someone who is just trying to figure himself out, to find himself? by pushing him to the brink, and forcing him to confess to something he himself isint read to say yet? uf the man says hes unlabeled then he is unlabeled. stop putting a label on it!!! if someone wants to be a existing blob just because then let them exist!! i myself have felt the same way before, especially when i realized i was ace/nb, so if you yourself if saying what dream feels isint valid then you are saying all the trauma and soul seraching i did when i was younger was invalid too. so stop beating around the bush and just say you dont like dream, stop making ir abiut sexuality, id respect you more if you flat out said that you didint like him, and id rather just elave you alone.

dream actually listens and hear us, he actually cares and thats why hes so real to us, hes transparent

even though at times i feel he shouldnt, because opening yourself up to such a big platform is like opening yourself to the scrutinizations of multitudes of individuals; thats straining and exhausting, especially if people hate so much, its draining

in terms of twitter though, i think dream shouldnt stay too much in twitter, because in general, its a very toxic and draining app

and i hope he finds a way to help him that he doesnt stress himself too much in twitter, but also be able to talk to his community

also, maybe other than controlling his time on twitter, he should also have people helping him look into the people he follows just incase, because the internet is tricky, but dream should still be able to talk or have control of his acct because as he said, its truly him interacting not someone else, but you know, a little help wouldnt be too bad

also having actual lawyers on your back, especially for those twitter accounts that fake controversy and drama for the sake of it, like what Badboyhalo did, when someone said he was a groomer and he knew rhey were wrong, bad immediately took it to court. and i think dream should do the same, not just fr him bt the whole dteam, because a simple post or not, but if it gets big it could seriously hurt you and make people misinterpret who you are

aand this is just me, but maybe also, going to therapy, because if i were him and i had to go through so much hate and toxicity over my very existance i would need proffesional help to get things to not be too much, for my mental healths sake. but that is just my take of course

well, i think i ranted a little too much down here in the read more section, all im saying is that i may not agree with the things dream did and even hate it, but i understand hes doing his best to be better and understand more and its not an excuse, but its enough for me to keep supporting him, because i know he never meant it in hate. i do hope he does do better and be less risky and rash in his responses in the future

Combat Style: Two/One-handed tank. Main tactic is to rush in, cause as much damage/chaos as possible to shake up the opponent, & clean up what the ranged attackers of the party (usually Rumarin, Inigo and/or Lucien) weren't able to deal with.

# of Training Sessions: 99 in-game, lore wise its a lot of self-teaching/keeping their skills learned from Hammerfell sharp. How Do They Feel About Talos Worship?: Deep down they acknowledge & admit trying to ban worship is terrible, but....Tei also lets their bias/experience with Windhelm, the Stormcloaks & especially Ulfric kinda cloud over this. If the Nords want their old ways so damn much, why fight for a divine from the Imperial Cult? Why not go back to the actual old ways? No, this isn't about worship, not to the men leading this so-called rebellion, they just needed something other than their racist bullshit to fool the common man into throwing their lives away for the nobles sitting comfortable in their thrones.

Also during their whole thing of getting into their role of dragonborn, they get a bonus 'fuck this dude actually' towards Talos, Ysmir, whatever the fuck he calls himself. (tldr; it sucks but good luck hearing Tei say that fully)

Gray-Mane or Battle-Born?: Neither, ask them again they will punch you for the love of Ruptga they get asked that every time they enter Whiterun.

Stormcloaks or Imperials?: Also neither, Tei hates em both n think they can all choke. Unfortunately they were forced to join the latter due to, yknow, calling dragons & causing massive damage in Imperial territories during isolated fits of rage and the group being more aggressive in wanting something in return for "letting it slide"....oops

Opinion on the Thalmor?: Oh absolutely despises them, they loudly complained having to work with them during the CW & would go out their way to disrupt their plans/piss them off. Sneaking was an option they did not take during the Embassy quest, if it helps paint the picture.

Opinion Of Ulfric Stormcloak?: Tei doens't say they hate people often...but they sure as hell hate Ulfric. Again, their experience in Windhelm added to this heavily, how both the Dunmer & Argonians were treated like shit, with no help whatsoever from the Jarl or guards when the local Nords targeted them. It's still up in the air if I keep this for Tei's story, but I have it where they knew Chases-Starlight's parents, who were killed. When Tei went up & demanded justice/an investigation, only to be brushed off because it "wasn't a priority," it completely destroyed what little empathy or hope they had left for Windhelm as a whole.

Opinion of The Empire?: Cowards too weak to continue fighting back against the Thalmor, in their opinion, & holds these views they grew up with even when being strong-armed into aiding them. If anything they're at least attempting to use their influence to hint towards a rebellion against the Thalmor, but the Empire could also full-on dissolve & they could give less of a shit.
