I sent two (2) whole Business Emails today AND wrote half of my union branch newsletter. I think that entitles me to Baldur's Gate 3 for the rest of the night.

i was going to do my actual work but then i started panicking because im losing access to one of my (many) university emails next week and had to go through and make sure to switch out of as many accounts and log ins as i can

mostly ok but for some reason EVERY time this happens to me, the one thing i always have problems with is local art stores. they don't just let you change your email :/ so i have to come begging and scraping in the contact us form "please let me migrate over my 1 point of customer loyalty so i dont have to change my account" ugghghh

I remember "sent from my iphone" was originally meant to signify "I'm in a rush/afk, please forgive any stupid typos" but everyone has gotten way more at-keyboard and lenient towards typos since. I did know someone who manually added "sent from my iphone" when responding to urgent emails at odd hours as a way of passive-aggressively telling their boss to stop doing that.

I guess there’s that too. Definitely an aspect of “please forgive any errors or brevity” and a “of course I am not at my desk at this hour” implied there.
