Hace poco ha habido una polémica, porque el ex ministro de Hacienda Alberto Carrasquilla en una entrevista dijo a modo de ejemplo, que el cartón o cubeta de huevos tenía un valor de 1800COP, un poco menos de 0,49 USD, aunque pueda parecer un simple ejemplo, esto demuestra la desconexión total que tiene el gobierno con la realidad del país, realmente valen al rededor de 10.000COP que son al rededor de 2,70USD, que internacionalmente no suena a mucho, pero si tenemos en cuenta la devaluación de la moneda que nos regala nuestro presidente Ivan Duque. Hagamos un cálculo, para entender todo esto.

Podemos ver que de 1800COP que cree el gobierno que vale, a lo que vale realmente, que son 10.000COP, el sueldo de un día alcanza según el gobierno para comprar 19 Cartones de huevo al día, pero la realidad es otra, solo se pueden comprar 3.

Otra realidad es que los colombianos en su mayoría no trabajan 8 horas por lo que en USA o EUA ganan en una hora, realmente a veces toca trabajar hasta 10 o más horas, sin pago extra, en un trabajo sobre explotado, eso para las personas que tengan un trabajo fijo, quienes viven de las ventas ambulantes o negocios independientes en muchos casos ganan al día mucho menos de 8,1USD diario, en un trabajo explotado, la realidad colombiana duele mucho, y aún hay personas que defienden al gobierno, y a las mismas familias apoderadas de la política de siempre.

Lo bueno de todo esto, es que Carrasquilla fue sacado de su cargo, despedido por la puerta de atrás, de ahí, comenzó toda esta revolución que hoy en día estamos viviendo.

Hoy el estado mata a quien levanta su voz, a quien sale a luchar por sus derechos, el estado y la policía salen a matar por la desconexión con la realidad que existe en la cabeza de la gente con poder y dinero.

Hoy Colombia quiere y anhela liberare de estas ratas vividoras, que roban y desangran.

The good thing about all this is that Carrasquilla was removed from his position, fired through the back door, from there, all this revolution that we are experiencing today began. Today the state kills those who raise their voices, those who go out to fight for their rights, the state and the police go out to kill because of the disconnection with the reality that exists in the heads of people with power and money. After ten years of Tory government austerity, the NHS was so run down that it was unable to cope with the Pandemic. Rather than see hospitals collapse, Johnson’s government made the decision to send as many aged patients, whether infected or not, into care homes to free up desperately needed hospital beds and equipment. But of course, there was  a shortage of PPE not only  in hospitals, but more importantly  in care homes. The result: “lambs to the slaughter."

Whether this decision by the Johnson government amounted to mass murder is a moot point. Amnesty International, in a report about Johnson's handling of the pandemic, said that the high number of deaths in care homes came about as if the elderly were regarded as "expendable"
