大多USB外接裝置都是設計給Windows用。如果要找可以用在Linux的USB外接裝置，那我們要注意的是，裝置裡面使用了哪一個晶片。 這次買的USB外接顯示卡內建的DisplayLink，真的是太讓我驚訝了。 ---- 為了增加螢幕的數量，我打算購入USB外接顯示卡。 很久以前我就有在用USB外接顯示卡。它不是為了遊戲高效率，而只是讓你能夠顯示文字、網頁，甚至播播影片就好的程度。 只是USB外接顯示卡的驅動程式是個麻煩的問題。 我用過幾個不同的牌子，很多時候，即使是大廠的USB外接顯示卡，都還需要額外安裝驅動程式。 你可能會想：現在電腦裝好了，不就可以用了嗎？ 我那時候也這樣想，那時候的電腦是Windows 7。 可是面對現在使用的電腦，別說Linux了，連Windows 10都無法操作。 ---- 有了這個前車之鑑，這次在買USB外接顯示卡的時候就多做了不少功課。 最後發現許多支持Linux的外接顯示卡，他們有的共通特色，就是都使用了Displaylink晶片。 這次買的是Kshd的USB轉HDMI+HDMI，內建DisplayLink DL6950晶片。 https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads/ubuntu DisplayLink USB外接顯卡支持了Linux、Windows、MacOS等多個作業系統。 雖然看起來Linux只有設計給Ubuntu，但其實可以通用於其他發佈版。 https://hkgoldenmra.blogspot.com/2021/01/linux-displaylink.html 在Linux安裝驅動程式的流程需要用到指令列，但沒有很難。 ---- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.displaylink.desktop.demo DiplsayLink的外接顯示卡也可以裝在Android上。 只要安裝DisplayLink的APP，我們就能把畫面投影到其他螢幕上。 但只能複製現在手機的畫面而已，不能做到延伸桌面。 ---- 然後，在Chromebook上，它不用安裝驅動程式，立刻就能使用。 太神了吧！！ ---- 你推薦什麼好用的外接設備嗎？ 歡迎下面分享～ #DisplayLink #USB #ExternalGraphics
