I wanted to look up the brand of backpack dr. Robby has on the show and someone on a reddit post mentioned that he has a Doctors Without Borders patch on his backpack.

Steve Harrington, who learned to play guitar at a young age. His parents needed him out of the house and he'd been whining about learning an instrument just like his older cousin who plays the violin professionally. Guitar was the easiest, and there were plenty of kids willing to teach little Steve Harrington for whatever insane sum of money the Harrington's paid them.

Eddie Munson, who's been learning to play guitar for ages, on his own because there's no one there to teach him. He sits on his bed and carefully listens to recorded tapes of his favorite songs, fingers stumbling until he's tired and frustrated and still hasn't managed to learn it, really.

Eddie Munson, now seventeen years old and wanting to start a band. He still doesn't know how to play the guitar, but he's gotten good at playing a couple songs and he can sing, so he thinks he can manage.

Steve Harrington, now sixteen years old, who's seeing Munson post flyers on school bulletin boards. He's seen the guitar pick on his necklace, the patches on his vest.

Steve Harrington, who comes to Eddie's first "show". A band of misfits playing at some bar, Steve blended in the background and eyes on the lead singer as he spouts all kinds of lyrics he's never heard before, because let's face it, he's kind of sheltered.

Steve Harrington, who sees Eddie's fingers stumble over the strings every week, where he's managed to score a fixed spot as a local band at the same bar.

Steve Harrington, who realizes after a couple times seeing him play that Eddie doesn't know how to play guitar. That Eddie knows the chords, know where to place his fingers, but doesn't know the basics making up those chords.

Eddie Munson, who's approached by someone after his sixth time playing at the bar in town. The boy takes off his hood and it's Steve Harrington standing in front of him.

Steve Harrington, who tilts his head, saying, in a tone that's more kind than he's ever heard from a jock before, pure curiosity lacing his voice: "you don't know how to play, do you?"

Eddie Munson, who finds himself sitting in the Harrington's living room the next day, Steve's arms wrapped around him as he shows him how to play.
