Jason Grace can sleep anywhere. He was raised by wolves and then was taught "endurance" by the legion so he could genuinely just sleep, like anywhere. On the floor, freezing cold, burning hot, sitting down, standing up. It's more likely that he sleeps on the floor in the Argo 2 because the idea of sleeping on a bed is strange to him. He doesn't think he deserves a bed because a bed is for people and he is a soldier, but that's another post

Little is said about the fact that Percy has done many morally dubious things, such as the issue of cabin 7. He and Nico in the Underworld and how he tries to strangle him, The rejection of Leo and how he treated him even though what Leo did was an accident, Even throwing herself into Tartarus with Annabeth and demanding that Nico go find them, delaying and endangering everyone, I mean he's a great character but I think people should talk more about the mistakes he makes.

okay here are my own personal headcanons on pjo/hoo characters having kids, assuming certain couples stay together and no one dies. also my thoughts are subject to change lol.

percy and annabeth have three (mostly) planned kids, starting when they’re in their mid to late 20s and spanning about 5-6 years. and then another one comes along when they’re like 40. (total accident). a couple boys, a couple girls - all sassy hyperactive geniuses running around causing mass chaos 24/7. then when their bio kids are mostly grown and out of the house, they foster demigod kids who don’t have homes. i can also see them being in their like 50s and fully adopting a little demigod baby who doesn’t have a family (because they have plenty of love to give). basically at every stage of their life, their house is always chaotic, loud, and full of safe and loved kids. they are parents to anyone who needs them

grover and juniper are gonna have like 7 kids or something. their own little school of children. and all super close together, which is ironic since they don’t have the strict timeline that humans do.

frank and hazel have exactly one kid, probably in their mid 20s. and they are SO happy with their one. the kid is calm, sweet, quiet, and smart. much better behaved than most demigods (although there could be a rebellious phase in the teen years)

nico and will adopt one or two, maybe a set of siblings, but not until they’re in their 40s. because i feel like nico thinks he never wants kids, but then over time, he realizes he does. plus he wants to do it for will.

piper doesn’t want kids. she thought she did at first, mainly because she felt like she was supposed to, but as she gets older she realizes she loves the freedom of not being a full time parent. she can pop in, be fun aunt piper to all her friends’ kids, and then leave. and she’s super happy that way.

i think leo would be scared as fuck to be a dad, and never plan on it, but i can see him having a singular daughter. definitely not planned. maybe even naming her after his mom. i really see leo being a single dad for some reason, idk why or how though. but he would be awesome. he’d expect his daughter to be all troubled and messed up like him, but she turns out amazing (because she has an awesome dad)

I'm glad Boreas is in Canada, so that Canada gets more representation in Rick Riordan's books. But one nitpick: the oldest northern settlement being Quebec? Wouldn't it be Iqaluit up in Nunavut, or something? But then again…maybe that far north the gods of the Inuit rule. I know the Inuit have their own myths and stuff. So maybe Montreal was the furthest north boreas could go without encroaching on other pantheons?

absolutely!! I've had this hc for ages, double fun if this edgy looking teen suddenly goes half british posh accent and all proper like "hey you dumb fuck asshole what the--- no, beg your pardon, mr d, I haven't seen percy recently"

but also like, when he's introduced to new people, he goes all awkward and reverts to heir-to-the-title so everybody thinks he's this super formal, well-bred, if a bit shy boy:

"oh, but nico's such a sweetheart, percy, don't be hard on him" sally tells percy. "remember that time he dropped by for your birthday, and--"

"mom, he's killed like four people and told a manticore to eat cheetos with his filthy unfuckable ass when he was like ten"

one thing ive always wondered in magnus chase is why natalie cut off contact with both of her brothers, when randolph was the one doing all the bullshit. Ive concluded that she caught wind of frederick's treatment towards annabeth (magnus mentions annabeth telling him she was going to run away) and decided screw him also (reasonable)

Now this leads me to: alternate universe where instead of just running away annabeth stays in boston with natalie and magnus.
