first, you read nothing i said. where did i ever state that i like eridan? nowhere. in fact, i forget about his character until any of you weirdos obsessed with hating him bring him up to project your issues onto his character while saying NOTHING about karkat, who was canonically also a fucking asshole.

i commented on erikat, because you said that karkat "went through so much hell" to be with eridan. which is fucking nonsensical, because that piece of shit did nothing but mope around for years he was single while his friends were getting mutilated or outright assassinated in comparison. and erirose is awesome, because they'd make hilarious kismesis considering how rose has such a love/hate relationship with wizards & magic, like eridan also does.

karkat scratching his motherfucking asshole with two hands while letting terezi get abused by his own moirail is CANON in the original comic. he said terezi cried over dave dying just to make him jealous. he fetishized jade making out with herself as she was crying over her own death and mocked her for doing so.

he also did absolutely no fucking attempt to revive or care about his dead friends, but had all the time in the world to suck up to meenah and use their ghosts as meathsields. these two facts are not unrelated, there are SO many canon instances of karkat being a selfish entitled asshole.

because speaking of "eridan achieving all the red flags", where the fuck was eridan writing a fucking schedule to "share" feferi with sollux? fucking nowhere, because that's something only canon karkat did, even though he never even dated terezi in the first place. he had all the time in the world to creepily butt in her relationship with dave that was somewhat healthy at the start, but SUDDENLY he was uninterested in getting involved when it came to defending Terezi from gamzee, HIS MOIRAIL, abusing her? and he said he knew about them for a long fucking time too?

eridan at least apologized to feferi for killing her through fefetasprite, while all that karkat did was apologizing for terezi for not being good enough to choose him instead of dave and making their break up all about him, all while also chastizing her for not breaking up with gamzee even though it was his literal single fucking duty to keep him pacified and he was only alive because karkat stopped kanaya from killing him.

Would anything have changed if Erisol, Arquius and Fefeta had double godtiered like Davepeta?

If the three of them had somehow gotten Prototyped^2 by coming in contact with the alpha session's kernelprites and achived ultimate self like Davepeta did, they would've been able to switch form one claspect to another, and have memories of all timelines from their component's points of view.

Erisol wouldn't need any character development because that prototipation^2 would be basically a speedrun on self acceptance. He could've switch between Mage of Hope and Prince of Doom and would have helped Sollux to destabilize the condesce during the the "Finish it" battle.

Fefeta could've switch between Witch of Heart and Rogue of life and would also gain memories of the Fereris and Nepetas from all timelines, including beforian versions, making her a great lider as she remembers ruling beforus as alpha Feferi.

Arquius... He's a Dirk splinter, which would make him an alternate version of Ult!Dirk plus Ult!Equius, which might include memories from lord english, seeing as he's composed partially by Equius and AI!Dirk aka Hal. Idk if he can handle that, something's gonna go wrong there. He could switch from Prince of Void to Heir of Heart so he's not a Prince of Heart perse, won't lose his heart like Dirk did, but has the extensive memories of all Dirks, who are and did and all their reasoning, so go figure it's a 50/50 on him going megalomaniac. He'll still kiss Erisol at the end of that battle tho before he goes of to ruin things i guess.

The idea that vriska would improve as a person and become more well rounded and less self centered AFTER SPENDING 8 YEARS IN AN ALTERNTE REALITY THAT'S ALL ABOUT HER THERAPY ARC AND DOESN'T HAVE ANY REAL PEOPLE IN IT is fucking insane.

The only person who can fix Vriska is Vriska, which is a very Vriska thing to say, and all it did was lead to the point in the story where Vriska Vriska'd into existence, Vriska'd all over the place, Vriska'd at everyone else, took the kids, and Vriska'd out of existence with them.

Don't get me wrong, a hyperbolic time chamber arc was waiting to happen since Vriska is technically the most anime out of all the trolls, or at least she wants to be, but there were a lot of better ways to do it.

ik everyone in homestuck is related at the end of the day but im surprised it wasnt UNTIL NOW people are starting to realize that the prospit family + peixes are related despite the fact it was one of the most obvious ties between two families or i guess one big one. not to mention the comic does frequently bring up their relationship like constantly calling the condesce a mother/grandmother/great grandmother to the prospits. even after killing the condesce karkat gets mad because he has to accept john as his supposed new ruler now because he is meant to be (one of) her heir(s).

its so interesting too like the main character and his family are related to one of the most relevant and super cool influential antagonists in the entire story and a lot of the symbolic ties between them. and then the fandom for some god damn reason didnt realize they are related until now or you have another side that still doesnt wanna acknowledge it just to defend some shipping that isnt even canon. i hate the absolute missed and untapped potential a lot of the fandom missed out on. yes there is some old content depicting the fam at times but its just not enough especially for characters just that major and big.

even the handmaid and doc scratch have more family content and fanart over the years and people care about that ancestor less than the condesce. was also gonna bring up dolorosa and signless too but the reason for that could be as you said karkat replaced john as the homestuck poster boy and kanaya is one of the poster girls and they are paired with two of the strilondes so people would focus on their ancestors more.

Doesn't help in the base webcomic themselves, said Egbert/Harley/Crocker/English barely get to have a deeper connection with some of the fuchsiabloods like Feferi or Meenah. It seems like there was going to be something big between Jade and Feferi, even after said troll died. But nothing came of it. John did meet with Meenah in Act 6, but they don't do anything that big together as it was Vriska leading the way. Then, of course, there's the missed opportunity with Fefetaspritetalking with Jane. Closest we get is Jake beating the shit out of Meenah. I'm not sure if it even crossed his mind that he is beating up someone who is his stepmother and in her current self as Meenah, she would be like his sister or cousin. Even now in HS2/Beyond Canon, Fefpetasprite is there, but she is reduced to never saying actual words and not confronting with Jane Crocker in the Candy Timeline. Neither Meenah or Jane, or Jake acknowledge the other side as their sister/brother or cousin due to both having strong ties with The Condesce. Not even Tavvy realizes that his aunt and mother are fighting. Ah, but you forget that Karkat gave up following the Signless of being a leader. So he is not part of the Vantas family with The Sufferer or Kankri anymore. All Karkat needs in his life is his boyfriend Dave. Nobody else.

Names for every sprite (canon and not) - Homestuck

After this post (link), I started thinking about names for every sprite (prototyped Kernelsprites) that isn't simply their names smashed together. You can totally disagree with me :) I'm fine with it.

Yes, I will also explain my thought process and the names' meanings.

Note: I love using common words as names, but there will be other options as well :)

Note2: I find translations and meanings on google; of course I don't know all the languages of the world. So if I fuck-up some names, pardon :( (I can't fuck-up italian names cuz I'm italian tho lolz).

Note3: Not everyone has 2 names, it's hard :c

Note4: Many characters miss, and I WANT to make a second part!!! So don't worry too much about it (but you can totally contribute if you want :) )

Note5: No ship tagged cuz it's not a ship list lolz, but you can consider it like that if you want :3

>Moros: In Greek means "Doom"/"Impending Doom", but it also looks like moron so of course I had to include it.
