As you all know, there is an epidemic in crime. There is constant car jacking, robbing and assaults.

What's the best way to eliminate this?

Expose, expose, expose.

That is the only way to get rid of crime. The exposure has to be on a level where people are aware non-stop until the crime is dealt with.

Thoughts Before Falling Asleep

Thinking of so many debts to pay is so distressing. I wish I can live a zero-debt life. I need to pay all these off but I am so lacking in funds and that results to further stress. I have been praying and hoping I would win in the lotto just so I can settle all these debts - credit cards, suppliers, taxes. Or if there is a buyer who would be willing to buy our house at the agreed price, I would be able to repay all my debts. But then the house needs repairs. It would not be attractive for the prospective buyer to buy the place unless I undertake repairs on the property. But again I don't have the funds. That is my biggest dilemma.

Great fun this week - its the end of half term ‘Drawing Week’ and all staff are contributing with sessions proposing and demonstrating ways to make art with non traditional media. Here students are being shown how to make zoom portraits with coffee and today building up collages and print and drawing work with newspapers and materials found in the home.

It’s been a long time since I was so happy because of the rain. After a heatwave that lasted a week the air cooled down yesterday and it was such a relief. I don’t even want to imagine what heatwaves will be like in 10 years, so I’m making some changes today. I’m getting a raincollector for my roofterrace and we’re researching possibilities to get solar panels on our roof. No more mice but I do have a new tree. A lovely green mix with drops of garnet. ❤ I've not named it yet so suggestions are welcomed. 😊 🌿 Apologies in advance for the long post. After a week of pondering what best to do over the business and how to keep it going I've made a decision of sorts. Im not an essential worker or an essential business. But having this business is essential to me for both financial and mental reasons. I can't help but feel selfish even thinking of all this when the whole world is dealing with the repercussions of an ongoing pandemic, but I need to do something that doesn't involve watching it all unfold and feeling alternately numb and fearful. I registered with an online courier pickup service last week in order to fulfill a recent commission so this is the service I'll be using for the immediate future. Prices for parcels vary depending on size, weight and price range so each tree package will be quoted individually - this is why shop items are remaining hidden for now as I'm still working all this out. It's not ideal but not much is right now. On a plus note, overseas deliveries appear to be super speedy - a package I had picked up on Monday arrived at its US destination on Thursday! 😮 I've updated the website with some of this info and will write a blog post too and get that posted up over the weekend. Needed to do something as enquiries have been coming in and the postage situation was causing much anxiety. The unknowns of the time scale aren't easy either. Feeling for everybody right now. ❤ Personally missing being able to take a walk to the post office. Also miss the friendly faces behind the counter - hope you guys are doing ok!
