Season 1

1 - Pilot: The Family Madrigal (Whole Fam Feat: Mirabel)   Mirabel helps the family adjust to healthier habits in the early days after Casita is rebuilt, gently guiding them into a new chapter of life together. 2 - A Room of Ones Own (Mirabel)   Mirabel feels like the family is avoiding her and gets really upset and lonely, only for the family and Casita to reveal that they made her her own room! 3 - Luisa Lets Go (Luisa)   After accidentally breaking something during a vulnerable moment, Luisa realizes she still ties her worth to being strong and learns what it means to rest. 4 - Camilo Cares To Much (Camilo)   Camilo shapeshifts nonstop to please everyone, but when a young fan copies him a little too well, he starts to unravel. 5 - Of Rats and Men (Bruno and Julieta)   When a strange illness spreads in town, Bruno’s rats are unfairly blamed. He and Julieta team up to solve the mystery, healing a bit of Bruno’s reputation. 6 - Antonios Big Adventure (Antonio)   Antonio discovers a creature that can’t speak to him, forcing him to explore other ways of understanding, and learning that connection takes more than magic. 7 - Game Night (Madrigal 3rd Gen + Mariano)   The Madrigal kids (plus Mariano) have a game night that quickly devolves into chaos, competition, and comedy, before ending in giggles and heartfelt bonding. 8 - Flashback 1 (Madrigal 2nd Gen as Teens)   Teenage Julieta, Pepa, Bruno, Félix, and Agustín navigate early gifts, clumsy romance, and Alma’s rising expectations during the miracle’s first years. 9 - Guys Night (Agustin, Felix, and Bruno)   Félix and Agustín drag Bruno out for a night in town, challenging the village to treat him better while Bruno learns how to loosen up and be seen again.

10 - Power Swap (Whole Fam)

   The family wakes up with their gifts completely shuffled. Cue hilarious chaos, instant regrets, and a whole new respect for each other’s daily struggles. 11 - An Artists Touch (Isabela and Mirabel)   Mirabel and Isabela try to collaborate on a mural, but their wildly different creative styles clash until they find a way to blend beauty and mess into something uniquely theirs. 12 - Pranksters (Mirabel and Camilo Feat: Whole Fam)   Mirabel and Camilo start a petty prank war that escalates into full family participation where everyone picks a side. 13 - Flashback 2 (Madrigal 3rd Gen. Pre Camilo and Mirabels Door ceremonies)   A goofy happy episode about the Madrigal grandkids before Camilo and Mirabel both ahd their gift ceremonies. 14 - Still Abuela (Abuela Alma)   As the village moves forward and relies less on her, Alma questions her place in the family, until Mirabel reminds her she’s still their light, even without the candle. 15 - Bedtime with Bruno (Antonio and Bruno)   Bruno tells Antonio a bedtime story, and one by one the other kids gather to listen. Bruno feels like a part of the family finally. 16 - The Babysitters (Mirabel and Camilo)   Mirabel and Camilo babysit a group of chaotic village kids and clash hard on parenting styles, until they learn that fun and structure can coexist. 17 - La Ratonovela (Rat Telenovela Feat:Bruno and Dolores)   Bruno narrates one of his full-on dramatic rat telenovelas in person for once while Dolores keeps interrupting with ideas and questions. 18 - Hearing Hearts (Mariano +Madrigal 3rd Gen)   Mariano tries to plan a romantic surprise for Dolores, while navigating the absolute nightmare of dating someone who can hear literally everything. 19 - Flashback 3 (Pepa Feat: Newborn Antonio)   The story of Pepa’s pregnancy and the day Antonio was born. Its chaos obviously. 20 - Birthday (Madrigal Triplets)   The triplets celebrate their first birthday together since Bruno returned, unlocking sweet childhood memories, unresolved guilt, and the quiet power of forgiveness.

Binged the entire first season of Yellowjackets today and I have THOUGHTS. (Spoilers included so read below the cut)

1. For some reason I enjoy teen Shauna more than adult Shauna and I don’t know why bc both actresses consistently slay it but okay that’s my brain. I didn’t much care for her storyline with Adam but maybe that’s because I’m not into romance. The moment with the Rabbit in the Chili will live rent free in my head for a while.

2. Taissa really got on my nerves at first being so image conscious but I really loved her storyline as it picked up more steam. Especially when she went into the basement and saw the shrine. I was geeking out!

3. Christina Ricci, the actress you are. Misty Quigley as an adult creeped me the hell out with her pushiness to be liked and psychotic tendencies but she’s a fascinating character. I absolutely couldn’t stand the way she forced herself onto coach Scott tho. That’s just a huge boundary for me that made me uncomfortable with her character but she was so well done for who she is.

4. Jackie was a mixed bag for me. I really enjoyed her moments of leadership in the group but I got so frustrated by her refusal to accept the reality before her. That last episode took my breath away.

5. Nat, oh Nat. Not a person I would hang out with but such an incredibly nuanced and complex trauma history. Her grief for Travis was so painful to watch at times but it made me feel everything. Loved her being a safe space for coach Scott too and a great marksman

6. Lottie my queen, I adore her. As a spiritual girlie also diagnosed with schizophrenia who also got baptized around that age I saw so much of myself in her. I delighted in what she brought with her mysticism and I appreciated how she tried to be reassuring to everyone in tough situations.

7. Van’s humor and tragedy were simply *chef’s kiss*. I enjoyed her relationship with Taissa progressing as it did.

8. Travis… I didn’t know what I felt about him for a while. The way he treated Javi in the immediate aftermath of their dad’s death and making him spit out the gum rubbed me the wrong way but I loved the moment he gave Javi the ring and his relationship development with Nat.

9. Laura Lee… Oh I felt for her. She really clung to her faith and I respected her for that even though at times it got to be too much. I cried when she put her bear in the plane and it caught fire.

10. Javi… kind of wasn’t there much this season. Very soft spoken and seemingly sweet but I don’t have too many thoughts on him other than that.

11. Coach Scott trying to help the girls with one leg was heroic, period.

12. Jeff… I don’t know how I feel about him at all. I like that he was very supportive of Shauna but he was neutral for me. Callie kind of surprised me with her attitude which is typical for teenagers but she comes off as consistently angry about everything and I’m just waiting for her to explode on someone.

13. The entire Doomcoming episode was brilliantly executed. I held my breath for most of the second half. It was perfect.

14. I kind of expected the descent into cannibalism to be quick but the slow burn pleasantly surprised me.

15. I can’t wait to watch season two!!!

The motel walls were a sickly yellow, as if the decades of nicotine and regret had seeped into the paint. A lone lamp cast shadows on the chipped dresser where Castiel sat, hunched and hollow-eyed, staring at a glass of tap water like it might have answers. He wore Dean’s flannel over a gray tee, sleeves rolled sloppily to his elbows. His bare feet pressed to the cold tile. Human. Fully, terribly human.

Y/N stood a few feet away, drying her hands on a hotel towel. She hadn’t left his side since Dean had asked her to keep an eye on him. “He trusts you,” Dean had said, which was a lot coming from a Winchester.

She placed the towel down carefully. “You want to try eating again? Something easy?”

Cas looked up, face blank. “I tried peanut butter earlier. It stuck to the roof of my mouth.”

Her lips twitched. “Yeah, that tends to happen.”

There was a pause. Not tense—just uncertain. Like a conversation trying to learn to walk.

“You’re very patient with me,” Cas said finally.

Y/N shrugged. “You’re new to all this. Patience comes with the job description.”

He tilted his head, blinking slowly. “And what job is that?”

“The one where I help confused former angels learn how to be people without combusting in a Walgreens parking lot.”

Cas let out a small, surprised laugh. It sounded rusty, like he hadn’t used it in years.

“Progress,” she said with a grin.

Outside, rain began tapping the window. The soft rhythm made the room feel smaller, more intimate. Y/N moved to the edge of the bed and sat, folding one leg beneath her. Cas watched her with careful eyes.

“Why are you helping me?” he asked, voice quiet.

She turned her gaze to the floor. “Because you helped save the world. Because you’re good. And because right now, you don’t have anyone.”

His eyes flicked down. “Dean said there isn’t a me and him anymore.”

Y/N inhaled slowly. “He was angry. Hurt. It doesn’t mean he doesn’t care.”

Cas nodded like he wanted to believe her. Then, softer: “When I look at you, I feel… less lost.”

Her heart skipped. The air between them thickened.

Two days later, they were on the road. A hunter in Wichita owed Y/N a favor, offered them a place to lay low. The cabin was dusty, all cedar and mothballs, but it had warm blankets and a working fireplace.

Cas had tried coffee that morning. He hated it.

“It tastes like burnt dirt,” he grimaced, wiping his mouth.

Y/N smirked. “Welcome to Earth.”

Later, as night set in, she sat curled up on the couch with an old book. Cas was pacing, fidgeting with the drawstring of the sweatpants she’d found him.

“Do you miss it?” she asked.

He paused. “Being an angel?”

She nodded.

“I miss knowing what I am. What I’m supposed to do. Now I wake up and need help using a shower.”

“You’re doing better than you think.”

He hesitated. “Sometimes I think I only understand the world because you’re in it.”

Her breath caught.

“Dean used to say something,” Cas added, coming closer. “About how, when you think about someone too much, when your stomach feels strange around them… it’s called a crush.”

Y/N froze, heart fluttering.

“I think I have one. On you.”

The confession hung in the room like incense smoke—soft, fragrant, inescapable.

Cas looked almost alarmed by his own words.

Y/N set the book aside and stood slowly. “You don’t have to figure that part out yet,” she said gently. “You’re still learning what it means to be human. That comes with weird feelings.”

“But they feel real.”

She smiled. “They are. And I care about you, Cas. So whatever this is, we’ll figure it out. Together.”

He exhaled like a burden had just lifted.

Outside, the rain had stopped. The sky had cracked open, starlight threading through dark clouds.

And for the first time since falling, Castiel felt like maybe, just maybe, the fall had led him somewhere worth landing.

Happy New Year! I've been writing too many recaps lately so this will be brief. Anyway as usual, spoilers and opinions below, read at your own risk.

QL - Currently Watching

🇹🇭 Caged Again [9/10] - I don't think the poachers escaping and going after them again was necessary, and it certainly wasn't well executed.

🇯🇵 Call Me by No-Name [1/8] - I love the visuals, it's all very deliberate, with the lighting , the colours and all the lines. I'm intrigued about no-name and the scheherazade of it all. She must be running from something, or someone. Probably the second. 🇹🇭 Fourever You [15/16] - I don't know why I'm still watching. I really don't.

🇨🇳 I'll Turn Around This Time [1/6] - Very nice production, I really like the visuals. The first episode spanned 3 months so it was a lot but I think it was well paced. Time loop has begun so I expect a lot of heartache. Curious about this one. 🇯🇵Miseinen [9/10] - I think some of the changes they made from the source material really didn't help the story in the second half of the show. And this last episode just felt like they were more focused on continuing the visual metaphors than to actually move the story forward in a way that made sense. I'm kinda disappointed tbh.

🇹🇭 Ossan's Love Th [2/12] - I'm having so much fun. Smitten Mix is my favourite Mix, and I'm loving seeing Earth do something different. I actually like the Boss, I think the show is doing a good job balancing the more excentric side with the professional. That moment on the roof when he and Moo went from fighting to professional mode was well done.

🇹🇭 Perfect 10 Liners [14/24] - I adore them.

🇹🇭 Sangmin Dinneaw [3/8] - This show just went full on bonkers. I mean, this whole episode was crazy. I don't even know what to say. The hotel manager is not funny, I can't stand her. The mains are cute but I don't know if I'm gonna stick with this one.

🇹🇼 See Your Love [11/13] - It's like watching two shows in one. On one side we have the most endearing couple. They are completely in love with each other and helping each other through their individual issues. And the other...I don't really know what's happening.

🇹🇭 The Boy Next World [4/10] - Ok, so we all agree that Cir is just more than a little insane, like probably because of that mother, and not really from a parallel universe, and has probably been stalking watching Phu from afar since that day in the classroom, right? Great.

🇹🇭 The Heart Killers [9/12] - I'm still watching quietly.

🇹🇭 ThamePo [7/12] - They are so charming and earnest. And Est is too beautiful for this world. But also...

��🇵 When It Rains, It Pours [1/7] - I'm very curious. I really like the setup, it feels grown up. Also I'm curious if the gay couple, is actually a couple, or if maybe they were once but now they stayed together for convenience or some other reason. We'll see.

🇹🇭 Your Sky [11/12] - Hia and Real need to get on with it. Lee and Ghlai need their own show. Teerak and Fah continue to be the most lovable couple in all the land.

QL - Finished

🇯🇵Love in the Air Koi - I appreciated the condensed stories, with less filler and the parallel kidnappings. And I preferred this version of the second couple.

🇯🇵 Love is a Poison - I adore them. Shiba is such a fascinating and original character. The actors did an incredible job, and I could watch them be battle husbands for 5 more seasons. Oh and the succulents. I will miss them most of all.

🇹🇭 My Stand-In - Final thoughts here.

🇹🇭 Spare Me Your Mercy - It's interesting in the context of euthanasia but not much else. The crime part of this was messy and the romance was practically not existent or otherwise not believable.

STUDY IN LOKI ROMANCE

Part 2: Breaking Brad

Since we're only a few days away from the last episode, I decided to COUNT DOWN everything we´ve got so far ( that can be interpreted very easily as romantic ) and discuss what the actual fuck is going on with second season. Because even though I shipped lokius practically from S1E2, I absolutely did NOT expect this kind of development. (Not that I´m complaining)

Warning: This is gonna be LONG post, lots of screenshots, lots of SPOILERS, lot of "oh-my-god-they-so-cute" language, and little bit of meta.

I originally thought that this post would be everything at once, but since I have just too many screenshots this time around, I´ll have to split it. so every post will be one episode. Color coding means:

IIIIIIIIII = anything, that coud potentialy be just acting choice.

IIIIIIIIII = everything else (tzn.: whatever was written, and/or carefully prepared by filmmakers. )

side note: I already wrote, about how amazing it is, that Mobius is unable to fight but fights anyway and how beautifuly, and ridiculously brave he is HERE. But this is about Loki/Mobius interactions, so I´ll try my best not to talk about THAT. (Even when I´m really happy, that s2 continues with this formula and Mobius is still his completely defenseless while aggressively brave self. I love him, btw.)

Okay, Check-list, ep 2:

Mobius opening up to Loki, and admiting he "lost it"

Loki trying to make him feel better and absolutely KILLING IT! btw, I know, that some people think, this scene doesn´t make sense, because Loki didn´t "lost it" during avengers, but was controlled by mind stone, etc.... well I think that it actually doesn´t matter. Guess what else doesn´t make sense? For example the fact, that they already talked about Loki fighting Avengers ( during their first meeting.) Loki is aware, that Mobius saw New York invasion at least twice now, and he´s telling him anyway. I would say, that point here is Loki trying to lift Mobius´s spirit, entertain him, make him smile. Why else woud he start his monolog by "remember, when...?" And I think, that this is huge, actually: Loki, using his bad memory, defeat, his humulianting experience to make Mobius feel better. So not only, that we see, he no longer care about being rurel but we see him making lightly fun of it FOR MOBIUS´S SAKE! He has different priorities now... our immortal god is a grown man now... it´s just so fucking beautiful... 🥺

Also Mobius saying to Loki: "come on, you´re the God of Mischief" Like it´s a best thing in the world, and Loki gives him THIS LOOK! (I mean that head tilt would be considered "acting" category, but I´m already making concessions by including all these things under one number :D

like... seriously, Brad didn´t see this coming, AT ALL! xD

20) "They say opposites attract. NO." Mobius´s wishfull thinking xD (But hey, it IS true. Opposites attracts. And works greatly together. That´s the only reason, why, for example, trope like grumpy one/sunshine one is so popular!) I can´t! just look at his face 🤣 Oh honey! just calm down

21) Loki, not following Sylvie, but actually staying with Mobius and comforting him. AGAIN. (which is an absolutely glaring contrast compared to episode 2 in first season!)

spn20rewatch: the thing about supernatural season 1 episode 13 route 666 is that cassie robinson is the most beautiful woman i have ever seen.

she is also a truly phenomenal, compelling, dynamic character and it sucks she's only in one episode!

but what an episode it is. i think similarly to bugs, route 666 gets a lot of hate. and, again, i'm not going to defend it against people who do experience it negatively. but the way route 666 simply lays out the truth of the racial violence black people experience is pretty straightforward and uncompromising. it's important the way it just says: white people controlled the town, the police, the paper, the violence, the courts. and that's so bad. it's important the way it reaffirms so so many times that none of that was very long ago at all. it's important the why it says that that violence and injustice was so extreme that it haunts and stalks the present and still has the power to kill.

i hope i'm saying this in a way that makes sense. but i love the way both bugs and route 666 clearly name historical injustices and thematically show how the ramifications of that injustice and violence are still deeply present today. supernatural doesn't often handle politicized things head on and it is kind of fascinating to me that the two episodes with some of strongest politics happen in season 1.

i have a few other stray thoughts about this episode... 1. as a tractor operator it kills me that that little kubota is able to pull a water-logged truck out of a lake with its tires that deep in mud (i can't actually make out the model of the tractor (just the loader arm attachment) but, affectionately, no way).

2. it is always so special to me that dean's first on-screen romance is with his long-term ex. commitment boy i love you.

3. "i'm still really involved with my dad's work." spams the spiral-eyes emoji

4. i love that dean told cassie the truth about his life and hunting. i love that he didn't want to lie to her! it's kinda crazy that sam yells at him for it because sam never told jess. like dude no one was stopping you?

5. why did they make the racist truck look so much like john's gmc? like okay i know this is kinda a stretch (there's lots of kinds of big black trucks) maybe but it always reminds me of the grand sierra...

6. okay again we see dean just decide to play the role of bait to give sam time to work out a plan. but the plan sam works out is for dean to play even riskier bait (without communicating that!!). dean's shocked, pitched-up voice and stressed-out slamming his hands on the steering wheel, ough oof ow owie yeoch.

Okay I think I’ve finally come up with a plot for that jervis story I was telling you about. This is pretty long- I’m sorry 😭

Basically could follow the same plots as the ‘come on Eileen’ story with an age gap but obv themed for Jervis’s character. For the sake of everything, since this could be already dark-ish, instead of Alice being his sister, she’s his coworker. Very similar story tied with the btas version. Anyways continuing that, let’s say reader is Jim and Barbara’s kid all the way from episode 1 when they were still in there couple era (I miss it 😔). Jim had custody over reader when Barbara was sent to Arkham but once she’s out and running the sirens club, her and Jim come to an agreement for the sake of the reader to co-parent. Reader is about 10-13 during that time and then jumping to like season 3 with jervis being introduced, reader is around 17-19 (I’m not sure if this is the realistic time jump but whatever). During the first episode with how Barbara introduces tabby to jervis, imagine that same scenario but with reader also present. Jervis realizes how much reader reminds him of the book version of Alice with their curiosity, ambition, etc. I’d like to imagine Barbara finds it cute in a way similar with that one fix you did when jervis was leaving stuff for the reader while tabby is like “Stay away from the baby 😡”.

Now when Alice gets killed, we know jervis makes him go through all these games of killing and stuff and then he has to choose the one he loves. Instead of Val, it’s reader. As much as Jervis doesn’t want to hurt his current crush, he tries to be nicer about it and shoots them where the bullet won’t damage them as bad?? Idk where else I’m goin with this lol. I’ll let you come up with whatever else you wanna do. Be creative if you’d like.

I’d say basically it follows the plot of season 3 but without Alice and reader is present.

You feel like your ten again, staring into space, watching the passerby's from inside a Gala. You're mother used to take you there, when you're dad wasn't available.

You sometimes miss it, even though you used to complain. You hated just sitting there, hours on end, seeing rich people dance; like there weren't people being murdered on the street two blocks down. Maybe you took after your father in that aspect. It was a curse.

Your mom used to do your hair. You remember the way she finger-twirled your curls, gasping as she looked in the mirror. Eyes wide, she always said the same thing.

"Look at you, you're gorgeous!" You'd laugh and hit her on the shoulder, young and innocent. Sometimes, you'd make a mess of her lipsticks and bronzer. You'd try on her dresses which were far too tall for your young stature.

The sound of yelling rips you away from your thoughts.

This place isn't a gala. It's a club. And you didn't get ready with your mom, you got ready in the morning, waking up alone in your dads house.

You watch the two men argue from across the bar. You're cradling a drink; unsure what to do with it. Selina had stole it for you, somehow. You didn't ask questions anymore. You'd known her since you were eleven and she was eight. You didn't really like to drink. She knew that. You don't know where she ran off too.

Mindlessly stirring your glass in your palm, you can't help but squint under the bright blue lights. This place...it's not your first choice of where you'd like to be right now. Never is.

You hear a feminine voice calling you to the front of the club, and you can already guess who it is. You haven't seen her in a little over a week, not that it matters.

You decide to down your drink anyway. Who cares.

Pushing your way through the crowds of Gothamites, you notice the stage light up. Your mother and Tabitha stand in grand dresses. Tabitha's resting, one arm on the bar, looking effectively bored out of her mind. Your mother, on the contrary, looks utterly pleased. You fight the urge to snort.

There's a man on the stage. Long hair, cat-like smile. Your eyes follow the contours of his cheek bones. He's spouting something about waking up from an animal-identity. You're frankly lost, staring into his dark eyes. They look pitch black.

Sounds of clapping arise from the back. You simply suck your teeth. Someone new comes into the club everyday with a different act. This guy certainly wasn't any different.

"A magician? Really?" Tabitha asks, interrupting your thoughts. She sounds displeased and confounded, unsure what to make of Barbara's smile.

"Hypnotist." Your mom answers, correcting her. Ah, so thats what he is. You think. Couldn't hypnotize himself to have a better act? You almost make yourself laugh. Barbara mistakes it for agreeance.

"See! I like him! Y/N likes him!" Barbara chimes, smile lighting up to be a bit more genuine at your laugh. "Like mother like daughter. Plus, the place is packed. Be happy." She waves her drink around. Tabitha still looks peeved.

You want to correct her, but the words 'like mother like daughter' make bile rise in your throat. You don't speak.

"Just a taste, ladies and gentlemen." The man purrs, pulling your attention to him. That dark stare of his never once leaves the crowd. "But now...let us venture into something more arcane."

His eyes drift to you in the crowd, and it feels like a jolt of electricity. You wonder if he feels it too. He must have, since he cocks his head, pausing in his words for a little too long. His brows furrow, until the crowd begins to murmur. It's awfully intense.

You tear your gaze away to look at your mom, wondering if she was who he was looking at instead. It would certainly make more sense, given they must've been around the same age. But as soon as your gaze leaves his, the man clears his throat, and goes right back to speaking.

"The hell was that?" Tabitha whispers to me, and my mind goes blank.

"...No clue."

We watch the rest of the act, intrigued. He makes a man stand on the back of a chair, which definitely does not obey the laws of physics whatsoever. I can see why some people might find this amusing.

Your mom does bring up a good question though.

"So you could get him to do anything you wanted?" She asks, abet too excitedly. You want to roll your eyes. When you were younger, she would've made fun of this guy with you.

The man looks between the two of us, and you squint your eyes.

"Did you have something in mind, Ms. Kean?" He asks, and her gaze darkens. You feel a little sick.

As the act finishes, the man takes one too many bows, but the crowd eats it up. That blinding blue light still bounces off his face. Something about it is...unsettling. You notice it more as he stalks towards the three of you.

"Very impressive, Mr. Tetch." Your mom compliments. Mr. Tetch, huh. Well, you finally have a name for the man. "You have quite the gift. But you didn't answer my question. Can you make people do anything you tell them to do?" She speaks, slowly. Mr. Tetch looks flattered at the praise.

He clicks his tongue. "Only things they secretly wish to do," he remarks, eyes falling on me once more. "It's surprising what people will wish for," His eye contact remains on you, voice getting quieter. "Secretly. Deep down." He repeats.

Your mother makes a sound akin to a pleased hum. Tabitha looks between the man and you, and she looks less than amused.

"True," Tabitha speaks, pushing you to the side a bit. You watch as his gaze leaves yours, and snaps up to her. There's a ghost of a scowl on both of their faces that suddenly makes you confused. "You must be a very popular man."

She takes a swig out of her drink as she says the words, a bit sarcastically. Mr. Tetch, or whatever his name is, doesn't falter in his resolve. He instead offers a polite chuckle.

"Oh, I wish. Parties like this help pave my way, so, thank you."

"And you're new to Gotham?" Your mom asks.

"Yes...just arrived from up north."

"You have a place to stay?" Tabitha asks, head cocked. You begin to feel a bit embarrassed, heat rising in your clothes. They're asking the guy way too many questions. And he's a new comer. Poor man probably doesn't know a thing.

Before the man can answer, you butt in.

"Let the man breathe." You huff, and all three of them look at you in unison. Eyes-narrowed on you, the man blinks. Barbara looks at you, surprised, and Tabitha glares daggers.

Silence surrounds the four of you, and you shiver uncomfortably.

"Just saying." You mumble. Barbara raises an eyebrow.

"You'll have to excuse her. This is my daughter, Y/N."

Jervis's face lights up in realization.

"Ah, I see." He remarks, taking your hand. Tabitha instinctively steps close, watching the way he takes it. He presses a soft kiss to your knuckles. "Pleasure to meet you, Ms. Y/N."

"Thank you," You say, softly, looking into his eyes. It really does feel like time stops. You can understand why people are hypnotized by him.

Tabitha finally steps in between you two, as Barbara watches the interaction with vague intrigue. He drops your hand with some reluctance. You don't blame him.

"I think you should get going." Tabitha says, firm. The man simply nods.

"Very well. Enjoy your night." He speaks. "Ms. Kean, Ms. Y/N." He bids one last nod of goodbye, before turning on his heel.

There are worlds between them. And I hate that they went for the separation and the time skip, but only because it hurts. I think it is a good use of this trope. But those two made each other happy and now they are hurting and that is hurting me. And next week looks hurtful too. Damn.

I love it here so much! They like each other already! They care about each other! And how could memorising a phone number be the most romantic shit ever?! They are the softest, most quiet people and I love them! They are already so special to me! I know my expectations are way too high... but I can't stop myself!

Uhhhh... Shit is going to hit the fan really soon! I am here for it. What I am not here for is Fadel crying! My poor boy! Don't hurt him! So Bison and Fadel now know Kant and Style are fake, but boys, their feelings aren't fake! But the story needs some plot to work with, because right now, it is boring. Only Style & Fadel are keeping my interest up.

I looooved the talk between Fah and his parents. They support him so much and they love him so much and they will love Rak with everything they have! I just hope we can get Fah and Rak becoming the best versions of themselves during the next episodes without drama and wit a lot of fluff and love. We still have five episodes to go. But for now I live in this version of the kiss and the fact that both boys are so damn much in love with the other one! They give me life!

It has such a wonderful melancholic feeling. It is calm and has topics that go very deep. But. The rending was very rushed. I guess we could have shorten some parts of the second couple (I really don't like them that much) and give some more time for the main couple. That is just my feeling. There were just too many questions open in the end for me. And as said, the ending was too rushed. I give this a good 8 out of 10.

Sweet Home Season 1 🇰🇷

I started this series because of him. I love him in everything he touched so far. And after a rough start this series captured my attention and I couldn't stop watching. After a while my best friend joined me and now we watch the rest of the series together. I usually don't watch horror stuff, but this one is really good. It is not too gory or to spooky and there are no real jump scares. I really enjoyed this first season. Overall a 9,5 out of 10.

Sweet Home Season 2 🇰🇷

The reason I kept watching were those two! Yes, I can see everywhere at least one bromance that should be a romance. Come on! Who looks at the lips of someone else like this if they don't want to suck on them too?! He wants to kiss those lips and this kiss would be reciprocated. Because they are in love with each other! Besides that this season was a mess. The storytelling was boring, there was no tension, too many new characters and no real connection with those characters like in the first season. I give it 6,5 out 10 just because love those two and I read some nice fanfics about them!

Sweet Home Season 3 🇰🇷

At least they could hold hands for a short period of time. I am happy Sergeant Kim survived. I am happy most of the characters I liked survived. The ending was... not what I expected. It was not bad, but the tone was a tiny bit off. The rest of the season I really liked. It was tense and the action was good. I had a blast with my best friend and finally I liked some of the characters again. But where did all the monsters gone. Not all transform into neo-humans. And what is the conclusion? Emotions and needs are bad? I don't know. A bit more explanation would have been nice. Over all a good 8 out of 10.

I've sort of merged the original airing order with the DVD/YouTube order here while moving a few other things around, and here's why!

I know putting Hunting Season first seems kind of insane on first blush, but hear me out: every single other season of due South starts in Canada. Every single one! Pilot and North and Burning Down the House all open in the Northwest Territories, and so does Hunting Season. I also prefer to put Hunting Season earlier in the season alongside the other "woman interloper threatens Fraser's partnership" episodes in season 4 (A Likely Story, Odds). We get a little happy Fraser moment right off the top, and now we don't have to consider why Ray would have run off to Mexico with some woman right after the Henry Allen. So that's that.

Easy Money is next because it's kind of meh and it seems extremely like a repurposed Vecchio episode, so really shouldn't go any later in the season. Lots of early season callbacks (tracking things in Chicago, money in the hat, etc.). But also Ray going feral over Fraser being kidnapped. That much feeling for his partner probably has him a little in his own head, leading to:

The interlopersodes, which I like in their original airing order quite early in the season—it allows for some post-Mountie on the Bounty gay panic (maybe I still like women! maybe you still like women? wait, maybe I'm jealous of women that are around you? wait, maybe I didn't actually like that woman after all, I just thought I should?). But that can't and doesn't last, and so we move on from that moment by the time we're done with episode 5.

I put Dr. Longball between A Likely Story and Odds 1) to break up the monotony of the two similarly-themed episodes with something more lighthearted, and b) because it actually does make sense to me that after the motorcycle refenestration and Luanne's rejection and Ray's subsequent soul-searching that he might do something as stupid as run off to Mexico with a perp in a last-ditch effort to be still thinking about women. It doesn't work; Fraser gets his ass back hard in Odds; that whole sub-plot is over. No more women, boys.

Then we've got Mojo Rising, because it's also kind of a meh episode and I like to get it out of the way in the first half. Like Ray in earlier episodes, Dief chooses Fraser for good in the end of the ep, so that's settled. Seasonally I also like it here instead of earlier as everyone is wearing their coats. Ray and Fraser are working well together but things do feel a little tentative.

Good for the Soul I like smack-dab in the middle of the season since it is the Christmas episode, and also because it's the moment where we really establish Fraser's found family once and for all. The 2-7 backs him, Ray backs him, it's Christmas, everyone loves each other. This is a heavy one and one of Fraser's most internally-challenging episodes, so it's nice to sandwich it between two less-stressful hours.

That's why I've got Mountie Sings the Blues next. It also introduces the idea of the Frannie/Turnbull romance (which I love), starting her down the path of letting Fraser go for good. The Ladies' Man is next; this is another heavy one and Ray's most internally-challenging episode, keeping it close to Good for the Soul but with a necessary emotional reprieve between. Ray and Fraser are about as close as they're ever going to be as partners, here. They've worked hard for it.

Dead Men Don't Throw Rice is nice toward the end of the season for a few reasons: It's Frannie at her best—she's both useful and dedicated to the case, and she's also got herself a new boyfriend, finally telling Fraser it's over between them—but it's also Bob Fraser's set-up for the finale. Benton's work isn't quite done yet, but Bob's nearly is.

Say Amen comes in penultimately with the series' thesis statement on love at first sight and true partnership, and really puts the final nail in the coffin on Fraser using his magic for anyone other than himself and the man he loves. And then we run off to the Northwest Passage in Call of the Wild and that's all she wrote folks

The snow had fallen heavy in Minnesota, blanketing the little town near Mille Lacs Lake with a deceptive kind of quiet. Dean had made a half-hearted joke about “Fargo vibes,” but Sam had barely cracked a smile. That was the norm lately.

He wasn’t the same. Everyone around him knew it—especially Dean—but they rarely said anything. Something in Sam had dimmed. That hopeful, earnest flicker in his eyes was slower to appear now, and most of the time, he was too caught in his head to notice much else.

Until she showed up.

She wasn’t a hunter. Not in the way Dean was. But she knew things—rituals, sigils, energy flow. She said her grandmother had taught her, a soft-spoken witch in the woods who had more love for herbs and protection spells than hex bags and curses. She’d introduced herself when Dean and Sam arrived at the diner that doubled as the town’s hub. She was a local, working part-time as an archivist for the town’s tiny museum and helping her aunt run the diner.

The first time Sam noticed her, really noticed her, she was standing over a stack of case files from the sheriff’s department, her hands stained with ink and her sleeves rolled up past her elbows. She smiled at him.

He forgot how to breathe for a second.

A woman in the '60s in her bathtub. A teenage boy in a lake, despite being a strong swimmer. A man found in the front seat of a locked car, lungs full of water with no water anywhere near. All of it impossible—except in their line of work.

And always, at every scene, a cracked mirror.

Each clue pointed to Eleanor Voss, a woman who’d drowned in Mille Lacs Lake fifty years ago after being abandoned by the man she loved. Heartbroken, betrayed, her grief soaked the waters she died in—and cursed the mirrors that last saw her reflection.

Now she was back, and she wanted others to know what it felt like to drown.

Sam had started to notice more than just her talents. The way she twisted her fingers when she was thinking. How she always brought extra coffee during interviews. The way she leaned in when he talked, like his words mattered.

One night, while curled up on the motel couch beside him, she asked softly, “You always look like you’re thinking five things at once. Do you ever just... stop?”

Sam glanced at her, hesitant. “It’s complicated.”

She tilted her head. “You don’t have to explain.”

They sat in silence for a while, the only sound the soft buzz of the motel heater and the occasional scratch of his pen on paper. But she stayed close.

“She’s good for you,” Dean muttered one afternoon as they leaned against the Impala. “You could do worse.”

“I’m not looking for anything, Dean,” Sam replied. “It’s complicated.”

Dean gave him a sideways glance. “Everything about our lives is complicated. Doesn’t mean you have to go through it alone.”

Sam didn’t answer. But his mind was already somewhere else—thinking about how she’d stood beside him during the salt-and-burn, lips moving through Latin like she was born to speak it.

She wasn’t a monster. She was a gift.

The final confrontation came under moonlight, frost biting the edges of their jackets as they returned to the lakeshore. They’d traced the haunting to a mirror Eleanor had clung to in life, buried with her in an old family crypt beside the frozen lake.

Her spirit rose from the water as they uncovered the mirror, her soaked and distorted reflection flickering in the glass. The drowning had already begun—waves lapping over the ghost’s latest victim, a man who had only meant to go for a jog.

Y/N recited the Latin. Sam shattered the mirror. The spirit screamed, her wail echoing through the forest as her form exploded into mist and vanished into the lake’s still waters.

By the time they got back to the motel, she was trembling.

“You okay?” Sam asked as he helped her out of her soaked coat.

She nodded, but didn’t meet his eyes.

“I thought she was going to kill you,” she whispered. “I couldn’t—I wouldn’t have been able to stop her.”

Sam’s throat tightened. “But you did. You didn’t freeze up. You helped me stop her.”

Her voice cracked. “I just... I didn’t want to lose you.”

He stepped closer, brushing her damp hair behind her ear.

“I’m not going anywhere,” he said quietly. “Not if I can help it.”

Later that night, when the room had fallen still and the adrenaline had faded, he kissed her.

Softly. Carefully. Like a man afraid of what he might break.

“I’m scared,” he murmured.

“Me too,” she whispered.

But neither of them pulled away.

They left town the next morning. She didn’t stay behind. She wasn’t a hunter, not exactly—but she didn’t want to be anywhere else.

And for once, Sam didn’t resist what he wanted.

Something warm.

Something real.

Something good.

And why now address the nature of Buck's connection to Eddie?

For me, whether Tommy is right in his suspicions or not sort of doesn't matter.... Tommy is the person to bring up that subject more than anyone else on the show, because Buck is unnaturally dependent on his friendship with Eddie. He puts a lot of himself into that, and it takes up a lot of space in his id, and in his world. And so I think it would just be natural for the guy's boyfriend to be like, "You're really tight with that handsome friend of yours, and I think you might have a thing for him." And it was also important for me to have Buck say, "Look, I don't have to sleep with everyone I have feelings for, and I don't have to have feelings for everyone I sleep with," which is a direct reference to who Buck was in the first season or so.

Buck does say, "I don't have to want to sleep with everyone I have feelings for." What did he mean by that?

Oliver Stark: To be honest, me and Tim went back and forth a little bit on how intentional that choice of wording was and how mean Buck is. Because the line is, "I don't have to sleep with everyone I have feelings for, and I don't have to have feelings for everyone I sleep with."

And I think we kind of found a middle ground where there is some conscious thought into what he's saying there, but it's not meant to cut him too deep. It's just coming from a place of being defensive because he's had this thing leveled at him of saying that Eddie is competition, and it just caught Buck off guard a little bit. And I think that his defense to that is to try and knock Tommy off guard at the same time.
