Good Day everyone 🤗 Is it Tuesday all ready?! The exams are around the corner and I'm going to fade 😰 _ I mean, look at this editions though!! Aren't they gorgeous?! 😍 I know there are new ones released but I already have these from a couple of years ago 😬 I want to read City of Ashes and City of Glass this summer/winter (okay MAJOR problem here! I know that my Aussie book friends have winter in June, July and August, but here in Greece, EU we have summer and I'm so confused right now omg 😭😂), but I have exams till end of June so I won't be reading anything except for light stuff. _ The amazing @thereadinggamergirl tagged me to do the #fivebookishhabits tag! Thank you so much gurl 😘 _ 1. I'm a terrible mood reader! If I get even the slightest bit of boredom I will close the book and do ages to open it again. 2. I tend to not read the last book of a series. Don't ask, I don't even know 😂 3. I really enjoy manga, the Japanese style of comics, and regular comics as well 😜 4. I love to read through my smartphone or tablet. I always did. I just can't handle physical books... Literally. 5. Even if I have read a book in its e- or audio edition, I will purchase it because I want to have it in my real shelve. For example, I've read the first three books of the Vampire Academy series as audiobooks and I did purchased the first one as physical book 😂 #firstwoldproblems _ That's it for today's post. Diese Pandemie zeigt den Kontrast zwischen Digitalisierungs-Verlieren und -gewinnern so krass wie nie zuvor.

Es ist schon traurig, dass ich von Schulen höre, in denen es das gesamte E-Learning-Angebot daraus besteht, dass Schüler Aufgabenblätter von der Website herunterladen sollen. Sie bekommen erst dann dazu Feedback wenn sie nach der Krise wieder in die Schule kommen und die Lehrer können die Eltern darüber nicht mal per E-Mail informieren weil keiner daran gedacht hat einen Verteiler zu machen. 

In der Zwischenzeit produziert mein 40+-Jähriger Taekwondo-Meister innerhalb von 2 Wochen über 100 (!) Trainingsvideos für seine Schüler und baut dafür auch noch extra einen passwortgeschützen Bereich auf seiner Website.

Ich will hier gar nicht den einzelnen Leherer*innen die Schuld geben, die teilweise mit viel Mühe und Kreativität versuchen weiterhin zu unterrichten. Sondern den Ländern, die schon viel früher und viel mehr die digitale Bildung vorantreiben hätten sollen.

Weitere Anekdote dazu: Ich habe das unglaubliche Glück ein paar Atemschutzmasken zu besitzen. Zwei davon wollte ich heute meiner immungeschwächten Mutter via Post schicken. An allen Briefmarkenautomaten gibt es zwar EC-Schlitze aber auch ein Sticker an dem steht, dass sämtliche Karten nicht mehr akzeptiert werden. Ich als virenbewusster Mensch (und bargeldloser Millennial) zahle die Tage ausschließlich mit Karte. Also musste ich erstmal in ein anderes Gebäude, an einen anderen Automaten um Geld abzuheben. Also potentiell noch mehr Keime verbreiten. Natürlich muss ich mind. 50€ abheben, was bedeutet, dass ich nochmal in einen anderen Laden muss. Also ab in den Supermarkt, wo sich die Gesamtbevölkerung der Stadt befindet um das bestimmt nicht sterile Geld zu wechseln. 

Ich weiß das klingt jetzt super #firstwoldproblems und nitpicky aber durch so eine Krise wird einem erst  bewusst wie viel Ansteckungsmöglichkeiten, Zeit und Nerven wir uns im Laufe unserer Lebens sparen könnten wenn die richtigen Stellen nun endlich digital würden.

Wie das Beispiel aus meinem Training zeigt gibt es aber auch durchaus Positiv-Beispiele und super kreative Lösungen wie Technologie im Corona-Alltag eingesetzt wird. Zum Beispiel dieser Zettel, der neulich an meiner Haustür hing:

Alleine in der Telegram-Gruppe sind 572 Mitglieder (!!), was mich echt stolz auf meine Stadt macht! (By the way, Darmstädter, macht mit!)

Außerdem gibt es Lehrer*innen, die schnell mal einen Slack-Channel für die Klasse aufmachen und darüber alles klären. Auf inoffiziellem Wege geht es also doch.

Die ganze Situation hat mich nochmal darin bestärkt, dass ich meinen Master in Richtung Digitalisierung machen will. Hoffentlich arbeite ich dann irgendwann in einem Team dass dafür sorgt, das wir besser dran sind, wenn die nächste Pandemie kommt.

Laziness

So,,,I haven’t posted anything in a while (several weeks). I was just really lazy. I made this blog hoping that I would post here every day. However my enthusiasm quickly left me and writing became a chore for me. And I tend to avoid doing those. 

So yeah, maybe one day I will feel inspired enough to do some writing again.

Grocery Store Blues- #1
