A day had passed and a lot of opinions have been shared, to which we don't have a lot to add other than:

We condemn such a behaviour. In no way should the body of a player be violated like that by another player no matter how heated the game gets.

Most important, we hope Daniela Caracas gets the support she needs. 🤍

As a star player and fan favourite Mapi León has a big responsibility, and we notice a lot of people are hurt by the acts of their idol.

Hello hello! I'm just stressed about work (as usual) and stressed about football games (as usual too), how are you?

Aww that's really sweet of you! Don't worry about the blue/green colour, I am in fact coloblind, even as I mostly struggle with the yellows/reds sometimes I'm also shitty at telling blue/green hues appart and sometimes I pick questionable colours that even a non-colourblind person have trouble to identify.

As to your question, it really depends on which layout you are refering too. The mobile version is quite easy to work with, most of the time I just change the header and then I change the colours to match the gif palette (hope it makes sense, sorry I'm terrible at explaining things)

But if you are talking about the desktop version then it might take a bit longer as I am picky and annoying with layout. Luckily there is awesome people who provide really nice Themes for us mortals, and they are quite easy to use, you don't really need too much HTML knowledge as the codes are so beautifully built you don't even need too much work.

My personal favourite theme-maker is mournstera, there is several options for blogs and also personalized pages (such as my current about, fics and tags pages), also they have those very helpful guides to how to install and change bits. You also can check blogs such as theme-hunter for even more options

What have I learned about the financial league?

The European Court ruling said that the union of European football associations or the federation of international football associations by European union law does not have the right to blockade the formation of the financial league but their ruling and I put it in bold DOES NOT VALIDATE THE EXISTENCE OF THE FINANCIAL LEAGUE . So the European courts basically told U.E.F.A. they have to come up with a system to approve leagues like the Financial League.

England is no longer part of the European Union sequentially European Law does not have weight and after the fan outcry , the English government has a law about to be signed to ban teams from joining a league outside the English FA.

Bayern Munich is a rich club, Real Madrid or FC Barca or whomever else aside of them feeling undone by smaller financial fortunes does not warrant a remodeling of the only global while the most effective sports governance model in humanity.

All the people in media including regular folk online who don't think themselves media outlets are lying when they suggest the financial league has been approved , it was not. So all the disinformationalist need to stop, really.

I thought the English Premier League was always the progenitor to the Financial League but I miscalculated, that many in England always saw the larger goal of the E.P.L. which was to destroy the balance of the game. And, when the clubs in England tried to join the Financial League publicly, the memory of the creation of the E.P.L. went against the clubs.

The EUropean Courts ruled the rules for new leagues were illegal but they never said UEFA didn't have the right to make the rules. Again, how many posts starting with common folk , uttered, UEFA doesn't have the right to block. And said some common folk, never say that the Financial League admits UEFA has the right to determine them now. Yes, UEFA does, it can not be crude, it has to be defined rules, but UEFA has the right under even rules to block the Financial League so the Financial League isn't back. It seems UEFA's system for new leagues will be after four tests: administrative and financial, sporting and technical, ethical, sporting merit.

Concepción Sánchez-Freire (Conchi Amancio) impacto duradero en la selección femenina de fútbol de España

La historia de Conchi Amancios sobre su ascenso a ser la primera capitana del equipo femenino de fútbol en España en 1972 es muy importante para conocer su significado en el mundo del fútbol femenino que todavía se puede ver hoy en día. Ella nació en Madrid en 1957 y creció rodeada de balones de fútbol. Cuando ella tenía cinco años jugaba con balones de fútbol con otros niños de su barrio y su padre. Ella fue capaz de jugar al fútbol porque no requería mucho equipo y dinero como otros deportes. Por ejemplo, un deporte como el hockey requeriría un montón de equipos caros que su familia no podía pagar porque eran una familia de clase trabajadora. Ella estaba practicando mucho sus habilidades futbolísticas y pronto se volvió muy buena en el juego de fútbol. En ese momento, ella recuerda que no había muchas niñas jugando al fútbol, por lo que tenía que practicar y jugar con los niños más grandes. Ella dijo que era un buen ejercicio y que la motivó a practicar aún más. A veces ella se unía al equipo de fútbol masculino de su barrio y jugaba en los partidos. Conchi dijo que era fácil jugar en los torneos porque nadie esperaría que una niña estuviera jugando. Pero, no siempre fue tan fácil. Hubo muchos momentos que le recordaron que ella era solo una niña y que no sería capaz de jugar al fútbol como un trabajo. Los amigos de su padre le decían que si Conchi era un niño, entonces ella sería capaz de ganar millones de dólares jugando al fútbol y tendrían mucho dinero, pero eso no sucederá en realidad porque ella es una niña, no un niño. Aunque estas palabras y pensamientos le harían daño, le permitieron motivarse para vivir su sueño: ser jugadora profesional de fútbol femenino.

Cuando tenía solo doce años, Conchi fue descubierta como jugadora de fútbol en una cancha de fútbol de su barrio. Había exploradores que buscaban jugadoras para el primer partido de fútbol femenino en la historia de España y vieron a Conchi. Querían que ella fuera una jugadora. Luego, el 8 de diciembre de 1970, ella jugó en el primer partido de fútbol femenino de la historia de España en Madrid. Conchi tenía solo trece años y compró su primer par de zapatillas de fútbol unos días antes del partido. ¡Su sueño finalmente se había hecho realidad! El equipo ganó el partido y el marcador fue de cinco a uno. Los cinco goles que tuvo el equipo fueron todos de Conchi.

Había nacido su carrera. Conchi se mudó a un club italiano en 1973 y comenzó su carrera como futbolista profesional. Ella ganaría siete campeonatos nacionales y terminó su carrera en 1999.

En conclusión, la historia de Conchi es muy inspiradora y conmovedora. Muestra que cualquier cosa que quieras puede suceder si lo intentas. Conchi practicó mucho para mejorar en el fútbol y cuando llegó la oportunidad de jugar en un partido, lo tomó.

También, yo recomiendo el blog de Jaiveer y Ahaan sobre el modernismo en el mundo de hispano américa. En el blog, ellos exploran el efecto que el modernismo tuvo en el mundo de habla hispana. Es un blog muy interesante para leer y también se relaciona con nuestro blog porque ambos están hablando de cambios importantes. También recomiendo el blog de Emma y Dani sobre las protestas musicales en Chile. Es muy interesante leer sobre esta forma de protesta que nunca aprendí. Hablan de cómo la música fue usada para protestar en Chile y creo que esto se relaciona con nuestro blog porque el fútbol fue usado para protestar contra el gobierno de Franco.

"Like A Religion": The Double-Edged Sword of Argentina's Football Notoriety

Following Argentina's extremely successful 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign, the nation began gaining international recognition not only for its athletic success, but also its expansive fanbase. In the grand final match against France, over 50,000 Argentinian supporters were in attendance. Even prominent footballing nations such as England, known for its vocal supporters, did not enjoy such an abundance of fans.

This hardly came as a surprise to the world due to the well-known stereotype that Argentinians are certified football fanatics, as exemplified by massive murals of footballing legends such as Diego Maradona and Lionel Messi adorning the streets of major cities (as we explored in my previous blog post). Leonel, 52 confirmed the prevalent footballing culture in Argentina by telling Le Monde magazine: "At home, football's like a religion. Beginning in childhood it's something we are passionate about" and that " [the] national team is one of the few unifying factors in [our] country".

This stereotype rapidly became the essence of Argentina. Despite the fact that athletic success, especially success that unifies a nation, is a desirable quality for any country, Argentina's prominent footballing prowess and international notoriety inevitably displaces other aspects of its culture. When it comes to the public perception of Argentina, this proves to be extremely reductionist. As such, efforts have been made to place a greater emphasis on outdoor attractions and natural beauty in Argentinian touristic campaigns.

Another Wednesday

It’s another wednesday. I woke up happy because I watched my favourite football team win a match last night, Man Utd vs Brighton, Cristiano scored a beauty. I have online class right now (yeah,covid is still an issue) and I have been pursuing my graduation right here from my room since 2 years now. Albeit things are getting better and hopefully I’ll get to go to college and have some fun. It’s a boring day, just like every other Wednesday. Wednesdays are so lame, neither are you too excited for the weekend nor too sad that the week is gonna start. It’s just a day, unlike every other day of the week. I have always been aware of tumblr but never really thought of blogging here, but here I am, on a wednesday afternoon, blogging on tumblr. I think tumblr should stay away from the limelight, that is what makes tumblr beautiful. While I write I’m thinking in my head, how amazing it would be to one day read this blog again in a few years and feel proud that I didn’t just waste my time like I usually do watching stupid youtube videos, scrolling the death out of instagram or just spamming football related posts to friends. I am learning HTML and CSS. It is a one month course but thanks to my self-diagnosed ADD I know it’s gonna take me two months at least. I haven’t gone out with my friends in a long time. I do miss not being at home and having fun with friends but if I was doing that right now maybe this blog would’ve never made it to the internet so I guess it’s not that bad afterall. Now I’m looking at the tags space and wondering what tags I should put. Maybe none, and if you’re reading this I know you’re a fan so I love you <3 . Anyway, I guess I’ll just go about my day, maybe listen to music, maybe pay attention to the zoom class running in the background or maybe I’ll nap. That remains a mystery but trust me wednesdays suck!

They don’t give two rats’ tails about my opinions...   

I don’t (or didn’t used to), watch/play golf, baseball, basketball, football, travel by air, drink soft drinks, listen to music, go to concerts or movies, even watch the idiot-box and listen to the radio for political nagging and lecturing... 

These “woke” self-appointed virtue-seekers should wake up, focus on what they do and how to do it and work as individuals to improve things instead of focusing on telling me and mine how bad I am/we and the rest of “non-woke” society are...

I am a Wienermobile Driver and will be Moving to Austin in June!

Hello everyone! My name is Zach Chatham and I am currently professionally known as ‘Zach n Cheese’ -  1/12 of the ‘Hotdoggers’ that drive the iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile.

Graduating from The University of Alabama, I had the unique opportunity of working (literally) beside Nick Saban underneath their creative department and eventually ventured over to their Marketing department where I would be the Assistant to the Marketing Coordinator. Going to UA was a dream come true for me, being a lifelong fan of the football program, but not only that I have family ties to the University. Back in the day, my great grandfather was the police escort on gamedays for Paul ‘Bear’ Bryant as he escorted the legendary coach down the “Walk of Champions” and years later, my cousin would do the same for Nick Saban himself. Needless to say, graduating and having that Script A on my diploma means more to me than most graduates.

After college, my first job would go on to follow in the footsteps of my great grandfather, this time on my mother’s side of the family. Working for Oscar Mayer for 25 years, he had the privilege of driving the Wienermobile and now, I have to.

Every year, Oscar Mayer hires 12 recent college graduates to drive the Wienermobile and represent their brand through experiential marketing events, local and national TV, radio and newspaper and through social media channels. I was selected as 1/12 of approximately 4,000 applicants to ‘cut the mustard’ and I have been able to ‘relish’ the year in a special way, getting engaged to my beautiful fiance, Hannah:

The story got picked up by major media outlets such as Jimmy Fallon, Stephen Colbert, Wall Street Journal, Yahoo!, Fox and CNN. Amassing over 1 billion earned media impressions at the cost of nothing for the company, I have now been working towards developing skillsets for my next endeavor, come June. 

I started this blog, because I am moving to Austin, Texas in search of an opportunity to network with as many creative professionals as possible and learn from them. But not only that, I want to provide a platform for people to find things to do in Austin on the weekends and connect with fellow ‘Austinites’.

Para nuestra primera entrada de blog, nos vamos a enfocar en la región de Madrid. En España, esta región se conoce como “La Comunidad Autónoma de Madrid” y tiene la capital ciudad de España. Hoy, la población de la ciudad de Madrid es 3,2 millones de personas. Por las artes, la arquitectura, la cocina, y los deportes profesionales de Madrid, esta región es uno de los lugares más importantes de España. En este post, investigaré la cultura moderna de Madrid.

Las Artes en Madrid

Además de ser la capital de España, la Ciudad de Madrid es también la capital del arte de España. En la ciudad, hay museos famosos como el Museo del Prado, el Museo Thyssen-Borenmisza, el Museo Cerralbo, el Centro de Arte del Reina Sofía, y mucho más. Estos museos muestran tipos de arte de estudio, pero otro tipo de arte es la arquitectura de la ciudad. Algunos de los mejores edificios de Madrid son el Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, el Palacio Real de Madrid, la Iglesia de San Antonio de los Alemanes, y el Palacio de Cibeles. Estos museos y edificios son ejemplos de lugares que todos los turistas deben visitar en Madrid.

Cocina de Madrid

La parte famosa de la cocina madrileña son las tapas. Las tapas son pequeños platos que la gente en España comen para las comidas en restaurantes y cafés. Además, son muy deliciosos. Unos ejemplos de tapas son tortillas de patata, guiso de verduras, albóndigas y patatas bravas. De hecho, la cultura de la cocina madrileña se ha extendido a muchas partes del mundo. ¡Hay muchos restaurantes en Nueva York que sirven tapas!

Deportes Profesionales en Madrid

En la comunidad autónoma de Madrid hay tres clubes de fútbol profesional en la primera división del fútbol español. Real Madrid Club de Fútbol y Club Atlético de Madrid son dos de los tres clubes de fútbol españoles más grandes y populares. Además, esta región tiene el Getafe Club de Fútbol. El fútbol es muy importante para la gente de Madrid. Ninguno de ellos puede ir a los partidos este año, pero el año pasado cuando el Real Madrid jugó contra el Atlético de Madrid, 80.000 aficionados acudieron al estadio para ver el partido. Además, la selección española de fútbol tiene cuatro jugadores de Madrid entre sus 21 jugadores en total.

¿Por qué estas manifestaciones de cultura definen Madrid?

Las artes, la arquitectura, la cocina, y los deportes profesionales de Madrid definen la cultura de Madrid porque estos son manifestaciones de la cultura con las que los ciudadanos de Madrid interactúan en sus vidas habituales y los turistas vienen a ver cuando visitan la Comunidad de Madrid.
