#I'm sorry this isn't fair. I know we lost half a decade to two reboots making cool concept art ideas too unfeasible to consider #it is more than fair to mourn it. it's just so entropic. trying to keep containing the unraveling worldstate of thedas over and over again #such a uniquely weird predicament. I think I am starting to feel antagonistic to this type of storytelling #like not fully but to a certain degree I can sense its catastrophic toxicity in the long run #but then again I am the stories-matter-over-lore guy so maybe I am simply blind to the value of it all #this ties back into my musing yesterday about authored vignettes being defanged by player choice even without this context #so like I am starting to lose the plot here for why do this at all. they either have to bethesda it now #and start telling local stories or whatever #or keep banging their heads against this geometrically progressing wall while losing larger and larger sizes of their audience #like with the mass effect trilogy it's kinda like. a double funnel. gets wider then narrows back down by the end #cause it's a finite context those quantum states serve and exist in. but then you want to tell more stories in that universe #and the lorebrained gymnastics inevitably kick in. and like what is this all for #I think I'm growing away from this a little haha I hate that realization lmao

#i loveeee their questions i love figuring out how to say the things u say to adults in a child friendly way #like not dumbing it down! bc u shouldnt talk down to children like that!#but their lil brains work different and they dont have the context a lot of adults have #and its a fun game bc u have to adapt it to whatever group of kids u have that day #today was 9 year olds which are SO FUN #theyre really starting to figure things out! u can teach them complex things in slightly complex language #u just gotta make it accessible and interesting to them. and my presentations r a little bit presentational at the top #but then mostly conversational. and i love talking to children so muchhhh #theyre so earnest and genuine. if theyre interested u Know. if theyre not interested u Know. & then u get to play how to make it interesting #its like a game and im good at winning it #anyways. yay <3 #give me a child and i will tell them soooooooo many interrsting animal facts #and then they will tell me the interesting animal facts they know!#and we all have fun!#OUGH and also the dance of how to correct someone while making them still feel good #no that bird wasnt a blue jay but it was a california scrub jay. how to convey this correctly #adults r so boringggg #that being said i did have a really good convo with some adults yesterday #but a lot of it was thru their 5 year old who was absolutely DELIGHTFUL #anyways. as always im rambling #bring me ur children let me hang out with them i prommy we'll all have fun and learn things

i think its soo funny how when you’re an adult every time you think 'hey this month ill actually be able to save up some money' you will experience an Unexpected Expense

#my post #for context we got a great and incredibly salary increase of entire 8.6% (to keep up with the inflation rate)#and like. yeah. crumbs. but i started thinking abt how i could transfer slightly more money to my mortgage account #so if something happens id have to pay a slightly smaller sum #and then my friend offered to sell me her fridge which was great But still an unexpected expense #i really needed a normal fridge! mine has only two shelves!!! it can barely fit ingredients and cooked food!#okay whatever #anyway yesterday i removed my phone case and discovered that theres a massive crack in my phones back cover.#so i had to order a new one #and like. okay they arent That expensive but its not something that i was going to spend more money on. ya feel me #anyways thats that on my life updates from the last month

So our lovely (not) Swedish state minister Ulf Kristersson was just caught having a bit of a Freudian slip while saying:

"Sverige och EU står enat i att Israel har rätt till folk- till försvar inom ramen för folkrätten"

Which translates to: "Sweden and the EU are united in that Israel has the right to people- the right to self-defense in the frameworks of international law"

now you may be wondering what's wrong with saying the word people and why did he switch up the sentence?

Well unfortunately the Swedish word for genocide is "folkmord" (people murder literally translated) which as you might've noticed also has the same beginning word "folk" (people) as the word he later used; "folkrätten" (international law or people right literally translated).

So a lot of people have been saying that he was about to say folkrätten and not folkmord (genocide) but stopped because "har rätt till folkrätt" is kind of an awkward sentence.

Personally I would not be surprised if he was about to say "folkmord" (genocide), although I don't know if he was about to say that because he really believes israel has that right or if he was about to say that because he believes it to be a genocide or just for some other reason.

Regardless he is still saying they have a right to "defend" themselves which I do not agree with for many reasons.

#I'll leave it up to you guys to come to your own conclusion #This happened like yesterday so I don't know if there are any clips of it in english #so if you have that please feel free to reblog with the video #I just thought I might give context as to why people don't believe he was going to say genocide #If I were him I would not have stopped in the middle of a sentence like that because it just seems really suspicious #he could've definitely finished saying “rätt till folkrätt” and then started the sentence over #it's not grammatically wrong it's just a bit awkward to say #free palestine #Sweden #Sverige #ulf kristersson
