Amusing Shopping Encounter

Yesterday, after work, I decided to do some window shopping at bazaar stalls to avoid rushing home since it was Friday. Napahinto ako sa isang store filled with beauty and slimming drinks.

I was a little startled when the sales lady suddenly boomed, "Sir, pumasok ka po!" I stifled a laugh, not wanting to burst out kasi natawa talaga ako sa ginawa ng sales lady.

As I went to pay, the sales lady said, "Thank you, Sir Angelo!" I smiled sheepishly - I had forgotten my name tag was visible😅. Another sales woman then approached and read my full name out loud. I chuckled awkwardly. Tatlong beses ba naman si ateng mag thank you sa akin. Unsure of how to respond, I managed a "Thank you too!" mentally questioning my response 😫😭🫠.

"Sir Angelo," she continued, "I'm Jenny!"

Her coworker laughed and said, "Girl, hindi niya tinatanong name mo!"

We both laughed, and then Jenny said, "Sir Angelo, please check my blood pressure!"

Her coworker interjected, "Sa leeg mo raw ilalagay yung pang bp."

Jenny replied, "okay lang. basta si sir angelo ang magchicheck. I-choke niya ako."

Nagulat ako sa banat niya 😶 and I looked at her to gauge her reaction. She seemed flustered. ( maswerte ka ate na nagnonobenaryo ako ngayon 🫠 kundi malilintikan talaga kita 😂😂😂🙏🏻 )
