Škoda Buggy (Type 736), 1973. Five prototypes of an open-top lightweight vehicle were built by hand in the mid-1970s. It was based on the 110 but with the engine moved to the front to improve weight distribution, still driving the rear wheels. Meanwhile their Italian importer and a Belgian company had begun making buggies based on the rear-engined 110. Škoda saw the export potential of a factory made buggy-type vehicle and steel-bodied prototypes were built between 1973 and 1976 for evaluation. However the project went no further because of doubts over economic feasibility, even with fibreglass bodywork. Fun fact: one of the prototypes went into service at Prague Airport, where it was used as a ‘follow me’ vehicle.

A team have to bring a piece of evidence that is significant, relevant and new to the ‘right to review’ and also importantly the evidence had to have been unavailable at the time of the original decision.

This does make me wonder what McLaren are bringing, because other the only things that weren’t available at the time was Verstappen front wing camera, and the 360 cameras from each car, as well as maybe some telemetry. None of which I can really see being ‘significant’ enough.

It makes me think that they aren’t necessarily going into this hoping for results to be changed or anything, but more so they want clearer rules about what attacking and defending drivers should do.

Opel/Vauxhall GT Concept, 2016. A prototype compact sports car with a front-mid 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbocharged engine driving the rear wheels that supposed to provide a "template for future sports cars" and referenced Opel and Vauxhall sports cars and concepts of the past. Eight years on from the concept no Opel or Vauxhall sports cars have arrived in their showrooms.

We did some coursing practice this weekend to prepare for the coursing season and Kram ran with another dog for the first time! He followed the other dog for the first half of the course, and then went back on the lure for the rest which is very promising! He also really turned on the speed and power running with another dog which was awesome to see.

Livery Watch 2025 Special Editions: Miami GP

Good morning/afternoon/evening (delete as time zone appropriate) and welcome to the second special edition Livery Watch update of 2025!

As I said in my Japan post, I'm splitting up the special edition liveries into individual race by race posts. You can see everything from the core liveries to the Japan liveries in my Livery Watch 2025 tag.

And as the title of this post suggests, we're off to Miami, and much like Suzuka Livery Watch is being very well fed.

Sauber - 'Art Gallery' Livery

I have so many conflicting feelings about this. I want to like it because pain splatter effects are always fun, and I like that as per the F1 website the livery pays tribute to the Miami art scene.

However, as a veteran viewer of the CBBC show Get Your Own Back all I can think about is gunge (which, the promo video on Sauber's socials doesn't do much to steer away from that comparison).

I think this is a livery that looks better the more you see it, and despite a post I made earlier I don't actually think this is as bad as the now infamous Ferrari cum merch. However I do feel that the core 2025 livery is a better execution of the neon green and exposed carbon colour scheme.

Racing Bulls - 'Summer Edition' Livery

*politely clears throat* EVERYONE SHUT UP AND LOOK AT HOW PINK THIS IS!!!!

As you may be able to see on the rear wing endplate, this livery is in ode to the new Summer Edition Red Bull flavour, which is packaged in a bright pink can, and this may just be my favourite Toro Rosso/AlphaTauri/VCARB/Racing Bulls/Team Faenza livery yet.

I adore that the bull on the engine cover is in silver chrome, as it was in the og Toro Rosso drinks can livery - it goes SO well with the bright pink and splashes of white. The whole colour palette feels so cohesive (honestly, it would be very hard to get it wrong) but I just love that pink is the primary colour here. The white splashes are jut the right size and in the right place that it adds to the overall look but doesn't take away from the base colour. It's so eye-catching and unapologetically bright and I LOVE IT!!!

Honestly this is such an upgrade to the core livery I would very much like Racing Bulls to keep it for the rest of the year.

Happy Opening to Death Becomes Her and Happy First Preview to Audra Gypsy

It's a busy night for Manhattan's gayest populations as our loyalties are put to the test in this embarrassment of Diva riches. Death Becomes Her, starring Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard will open tonight at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on 46th. Two blocks south, eschewing any invited dress, Audra McDonald will open previews for the very first seated audience in Broadway's sixth production of the landmark show that is Gypsy.

There are still a few Death Becomes Her opening night rear mezzanine tickets open to the public for the low-low prices of $59-$69. Or, if you have disposable income and didn't jump on the more "reasonable" first preview tickets to Gypsy months ago, they've just released a few house seats for the high-high prices of $176 (back row mezzanine) - $521 (prime orchestra).
