Traveling For Myths

This is my Secret Santa gift to @funandwhimsy and I’m sorry for how late long it took! I hope you enjoy!!! Merry Christmas!!!!🎁🎄

Settings: Supernatural!AU: Voltron is a traveling group of supernatural hunters looking to prove every myth real, despite some skepticism.

Pairings: Kidge, Allurance, Shatt

Warnings: Very small knowledge of cryptids, randomness, shortness

“I don’t believe how you believe Mothman couldn’t be real but a Chupacabra could be!”

“Mothman is probably just a close up of an actual moth or someone with a weirdly-shaped glider while a blood-sucking goat eater has been seen multiple times by people at different and even the same times!”

“Alright, enough!” Shiro cuts in, breaking up the fight between Keith and Lance. “We need to focus right now.”

Pidge signs, ignoring the growls of her taller boyfriend as he leans on top of her, resting his chin over her head.

“As we were discussing,” Shiro points down at the map. “Hunk and Lance, you two will go east. Matt and I will head west with Pidge and Keith going North. Allura, Coran and Romelle will stay here with the van in the case of an emergency.”

“When isn’t there an emergency?” Hunk whimpers as Lance smirks.

“Don’t worry, Sharpshooter’s got your back.” Lance confidently states, before Shiro signals them to begin.

As Pidge and Keith search for any signs of a Yeti in their part of snowy area, Pidge feels rather than sees Keith fighting with wether or not to asks her a question before he sucks up his nerves to call out, “Hey, Pidge?”

“Yeah, Keith?” She responds, glancing at her boyfriend from the corner of her eye.

“Do you remember what I said about us?” He almost nervously looks away from her.

Pidge takes a second to remember that conversation. “About how long we will last?” She smiles sarcastically. “I do.”

Discomfort crosses his face before determination replaces it. “I didn’t mean to make it come out like that.”

She stops to fully turn to face him, wary of where he’s going with this. “Then what do you mean?”

Pink dust his cheeks as snowflakes begins falling around them. “I don’t...” Keith hesitates before he looks straight into her eyes, cheeks turning a darker shade. “I don’t want us to end at all.”

Pidge starts as her cheeks turn red from his words, turning darker as he comes and embraces her.

“Pidge...” Keith whispers as she listens, “Let’s upgrade from boyfriend and girlfriend...”

Pulling back, Pidge was stunned as Keith held out his hand to her, a shining ring in between his fingers.

Unflinching, Keith finishes. “To husband and wife.”

Looking for Yetis turns into a surprise proposal!

Bonus: In a future trip, Keith and Pidge look for a favorite.

sometimes when I can't decide I assign every idea to a # and roll a dice & either write what comes up or get all "but noooo I wanted to work on THAT one" and then I know I do have a preference. idk if that'd work for you but seemed worth suggesting?
