Finally finished this little project for my design portfolio. The fact that there hasn't been a Nancy Drew animated series is a crime.

hello #PortfolioDay has come to the other sites, I wonder if it exists here? here are my glorious combatants for my glorious fantasy RPG I'm making, please enjoy them all posed up for picture day. This is only 1/4th the characters but its already a good cast and crew

I never showed u guys Gnome Game did I?

This project was created back in the uni days

(where we needed to create a pixel game concept)

And so I made those silly guys

The concept is basically a farming game, but on top of that you need to take care of your adopted gnome son

Also there’s a fox guy who steals your chickens 🐓

The final result should’ve been just a fake screenshot of the game, but I’m a tryhard so of course I did a whole animation sequence >:D

I actually quite like this concept

There’s a potential to make new areas/market place where you sell crops

Also had an idea where you could choose the gnome child to adopt and decide how you want to raise them

which could lead to different endings 👀

Fun stuff

Who knows maybe I’ll return to this concept and make full fledged game lmao 💥

Progress of my final portfolio piece.

It’s about my love for art museums, and a positive book end to my relatively depressing portfolio.

The portfolio goes through ideas of my own self-loathing, reclaiming advertisements and commission work as an art form, a silly brand/several game ideas, stories of the heroes that keep you going, anger at the people who don’t care for the arts and just mindlessly consume, what goes through my head, carrying on the legacy of the ones in the past, and finally, finding peace and some artistic spark from exploring the wonders of museums.

Lute: shell base, leaf instead of a lid, tuning screws from bones, and strings from seaweed.

I'm working on a portfolio for a game design course, and the concept of anthropomorphic fish creating a civilization in a swamp and trying to integrate with human culture seemed funny and interesting to me.
