And yet... I won one game.

It was beautiful. The rats swarmed. The opponent conceded.

I will never feel joy like that again.

OKAY SO LISTEN. LISTEN TO ME. I think I just peaked. I think I have ascended to a higher plane of existence and seen the face of Richard Garfield himself.

I'm playing on Arena. The vibes are TERRIBLE. I'm at 3 life. My opponent is playing some meta nonsense with like, five Sheoldreds on the board (it felt like five, okay???). They have a full grip of cards. I have a single land, a terrified-looking squirrel token, and a dream.

They're roping me. They're doing the little hedron-wobble emote thing. They are basking in their inevitable victory. They swing for lethal. They've already mentally added the +25 XP to their daily quests.

BUT THEY MISSED IT.

They didn't see my Scute Swarm on the board. They didn't see the single Forest I was about to play. They didn't understand the cosmic, galaxy-brain level of JANK they were about to witness.

I top-deck the land. The ONE land I needed. I play it.

The trigger goes on the stack.

Then another.

AND ANOTHER.

MY SCREEN FROZE FOR A SOLID 10 SECONDS. WHEN IT CAME BACK, THE ENTIRE BOARD, FROM EDGE TO EDGE, WAS A WRITHING, CHITTERING SEA OF 1/1 INSECT TOKENS. THE GAME WAS LAGGING SO HARD I COULD HEAR MY GRAPHICS CARD PRAYING FOR DEATH.

There was this beautiful, glorious silence from my opponent. The hedron stopped wobbling. The rope burned all the way down. And then, the most delicious, satisfying, beautiful thing I have ever witnessed on this cursed client:
