So I uh... had Looking Glasses Parts 1 & 2 printed.

I've always intended to print out the comic, and as I was recently in a position to show it to a number of comics professionals, I thought now was as good a time as any. (Alas, it did not arrive in time for my trip, but it's here now!) It's so cool to be able to hold two years worth of work in my hands, I'm so happy with how it turned out!

I also made some other LG prints! I've really wanted a print of the B-movie poster ever since I made it. I'll have to set up an etsy or something if anyone wants some Looking Glasses art for their walls.

Here's the deal with the book. I printed fifteen copies, ten of which I'd like to give away to readers. I can't sell them, because they're fanfiction, and I can't ethically sell fanfic. Currently my plan is that if you're interested in a copy of the book, please fill out this form. I'll randomly pick from those people and ask that they pay for shipping (because this has already been an absurdly expensive endeavor). If you're sad about missing out on a copy of the book, don't worry, I will be doing a much larger print run when the comic is finished.

I was looking at old photos of some of my nuggets yesterday from before I did my first day 1 reset (aka before I got a mod that lets you keep your agents during day 1 resets) and realized that I accidentally remade Eva wrong. Except! Beautiful world! It's actually a good thing because her current back hair was her dead sister's back hair so actually it was intentional from the start and I'm a genius forever <3333

Ok so I suffer from chronic nightmares and the only thing that has helped me fall asleep and not have as many is when I’m laying down I think of all the things in walmart that feel good in my hand and I go aisle by aisle usually I fall asleep before moving on (so next night next aisle) but I try to remember all the things and rate them one through ten on how nice they fit and feel in my hand. Plums, lemons 10/10 anything in a box, koolaid packets, pineapples, raspberries 0/10. That’s how I cope 😩 I don’t know why it lessens the nightmares but it does.

Have you ever looked closely at a car windshield?

The edge of the glass is painted where it is glued to the car but it has these small dots between the clear and painted glass.

These are there for a reason. When the sun hits the glass the painted areas and the clear areas will absorb heat at different rates. This causes the glass to expand and contract differently putting stress on the glass.

These dots help the glass to warm up more evenly over a larger area so the glass does not suffer stress that could cause it to spontaneously explode.

Fun fact: the Tesla cybertruck doesn’t have these.

I hope you are, even though I don’t really know you. my now best friend is rewatching psych right now, which I introduced her to in sixth grade after I starting watching it with you and your mom. in our small town, I didn’t have access to cable or streaming yet, so that was the first show I ever really watched, along with bbc merlin, which you showed me at the same time. I have a special interest in film and tv now. recently I’ve even started dreaming about the idea of being a part of a film set’s art team. remember when we used to make art projects together? do you still like making little contraptions and figurines for fun? I wonder what you dream about doing. I wonder if your leg ever bothers you from when we crashed our go-carts into each other and you got hurt. my mom came to pick me up from your house the summer before that and surprised me with a new kitten. my cat died this october (she was fifteen). you and my dad both called her thumbs. he died too. I’m thinking of getting her polydactyl paw print (thumbs and all) tattooed on me this summer in honor of her. she was a formative force in my life. just like you. anyway maybe I’ll relearn the rules of chess in your honor.
