The legendary Kenny Burrell, w/ Ted Dunbar (my guitar guru) & me @ age 22 when I was working my ass off trying to play jazz. In a jazz improv workshop Kenny gave me props for my playing (blues, through chord changes) which went a long way to help keep me on the path - but ultimately, I went back to my rock, r&b, blues, soul & pop roots.
