Been grinding these sketches since March 2024 to improve my anatomy, I'm so happy to finally be able to share them! 😆💖 I felt it was weird for me to have shared my Mirai Nikki ones first as those are newer. So I finished these DR ones. The oldest sketch is the Miu expressions (last one) and the newest is Junko and Miu sketch page~

There had been months of breaks while working on the things I had been posting lately, I only sketched when I have the emotion. I feel when I draw while feeling the emotion, it is when I draw the pose best ^^ It was not only a practice but a way to get out my emotions like hurt

I was inspired by anime character refrence sheets and a big inspiration was the Kill la Kill artbook sketches! I'm happy to see my art becoming more "official" looking? XD As in, I like that I feel I've reached the level I want, it really looks like the art I would see in artbooks e.g.

I think my improvement of anatomy and poses can be seen in my recent finished works and these sketches had been a contribution to that ^^ My friend, Setsuya, had been helping me from time to time, and I learnt that I don't seem to understand body language very well which hindered me in getting better at poses. I started to study psychology, body language e.g. I find it interesting that how much something like the hand is angled tells a lot about how the character is feeling or how they are like. Different hand poses, how the legs are standing e.g. gives off different emotions and vibes aaa

There's a lot I can still work on and learn, but I'm proud of reaching here and I finally enjoy drawing poses as I don't struggle as much as when I first started! Understanding poses makes drawing them fun, so I'm really grateful of my friend for helping me ^^

Okay , so I have seen that many people are talking about this picture:

Many people say that it is showing that the paper in Lloyd's hand is the reason that the two of them do not like each other anymore. And that is a fine theory don't get me wrong! But I have my own:

It is a known fact 'Indogo Park' is inspired by Disney and their parks, and I think so is this picture.

The Disney World ride "Mr Toads Wild Ride " was replaced in 1998 by "The Many Adventures of Winnie Pooh". But as an Easter egg , Imaginers put in a little nod to the old ride that was replaced: a picture of Mr Toad giving Owl the deed of the ride

It is locatet at the entrance of Owls hous , and it can be easily missed.

Now let's look at both pictures,aren't they similar?

But there is also another clue that the picture of Rambley and Lloyd is a refrence to this!

When the train crashes, and we have to go backstage to fix it we find this :

A sign to a ride called "Lloyd's Limos." But the park does not seem to have a ride with such a name , or at least the current version we visit. The ride probably existed once in the park , but it got remodelled and replaced by the train ride with Rambly.

((The name of the Lloyd ride probably had even the same nature as the ride with Rambly, the only difference beeing that the visitor rode a limo insted of a train , but tgat is just my theory))

So I forgot to post this. Lmao I finished this a month ago (January 30th) and was really proud of it but also tired because holyyyy shit this took days.

I went insane over the background. My first idea didn't work and I put wayyyy too much effort into my second idea, this. Originally I was going to do Triangle Park but couldn't really find anywhere to place her and then thought of Mount Wildwood's stairs while in the shower and wrote in down in my notes app to do.

Shout out to my friend's who saw me literally about to cry in dining hall over this. Any differences from canon are because of poor refs I was using and I was too stubborn to ask for help until nearly done oopsy. My only background refs for days were low quality screenshots from YouTube, my 3DS, and a switch screenshot from the wiki until I finally stopped being stubborn and asked a sever if anyone had the 4th game and could send me screenshots and holy shit it got so much easier.

This both reminded me why I love drawing detailed backgrounds and why I don't do them often. I noticed quickly how much of the background would be covered but also decided I still wanted to do it. Maybe I could reuse it one day idk

I made a few personal edits to Katie's design here. Why? Because I can lol. Longer bow is a mix of stylization and I just like drawing it, the bow having a yellow gradient because I thought it was cute, brown to green eyes because in 2020 I couldn't decide whether I liked drawing Kenny with brown or green eyes and started drawing him with full heterochromia to do both I decided to refrence that by giving Katie partial heterochromia, zip up instead of button up is a mix of the buttons got covered and they were annoying to draw, bracele is the button colors because they were cute but I was not drawing those damn buttons and I noticed it could be a friendship bracelet with pink for Katie, blue for Bear, green for Eddie, and white for Nate because almost all of his outfits have a white star, stitched heart on hoodie cause I think she's a DIY girl and she's also like 11 so it's not perfect, freckles I just thought they were really cute and I love freckles I wish I had them irl, and lastly any changes to hair are stylization or just because I can like the ahoge.

I'm still really proud of this. Included background without Katie because she covers most of it lol.

i'm loving seeing you post more of your art!! out of curiosity, how long have you been drawing? is there anything specific you do to practice or do you just pick something and draw it? (i've been trying to learn to draw myself for the past year or so, and seeing your art more often has become somewhat of an inspiration for me!)

ive been doodling all my life! thought when i say "doodle" i mean "as an unmedicated youth i was unable to focus on a drawing for more than 45 minutes at a time"

here's some posts from an art blog i had in middle school, and the first year of highschool.

what most critically separates this art from the art ive been doing recently is that i NEVER used any refrence. ever. i looked at stuff to make sure i knew what it looked like, but the rest was always roughly estimated based on what i thought would look good (which was largely based on cartoons).

but i only ever started trying to "learn how to draw" over the past year. here's the thing: spending a bunch of hours practicing drawing cubes and cylinders is like. all you have to do to see yourself start improving in real time.

draw a bunch of cubes and cylinders, and learn how to make them look realistic in proportion to each other using references to guide you. practice drawing stuff like basic buildings, cans of soda, maybe a cake (3 short fat cylinders on top of each other) if you're feeling daring. then try to draw slightly more complicated shapes, like spheres and cones and stuff. layer these shapes on top of each other to make more complicated shapes. you're gettin the picture.

infuriatingly, basic shapes is like 40% of the "getting it to click" work done.

after than, move on to 30 second sketches of nude models using this site. yeah, only 30 seconds. it doesnt matter if it comes out looking like shit, the point is learning how to simplify complicated shapes down into their most basic lines. dont waste time erasing. dont waste time pressing ctrl-z. erasing is your enemy. you arent learning how to erase, you're learning how to draw. (you'll get your eraser back later).

do this hundreds of times. yeah, hundreds. put on a podcast or something. get in a voice call with your friends. but ya gotta practice this one. that's the next 20% of making it "click".

now, unfortunately, the last 40% is just a matter of slamming your head against the wall of art until things slowly start to look better and better. it's sort of like a chemical formula, in that the closer you get to 100% purity, the more and more difficult it becomes to distill it.

the key is to ALWAYS use reference. you cannot learn how to realistically draw something you've conjured from your mind if you cannot depict something that's right in front of you realistically.

im currently in this valley, as most artists are. in fact i dont think it's possible to make art "click" in your mind 100%, but it sure is fun to inch closer and closer!

below is a bunch of art in chronological order from april to now. you'll see that it's not really a straight road of getting better and better, but you'll see my lines slowly getting more confident and details becoming more clearly defined!

Here is WoaS Asha and Orion in their "At All Costs" outfits ✨️

I really like how this turned out!

My inspiration for this were these pieces of concept art from Snow White.

They show an alternative take to the song "Someday my Prince will come". Originally there was supposed to be a fantasy sequence acompanying the song, but it got cut.

(If you want to see this alternative version, here's a video of it!)

Then, the idea of the "main character and the love-interest dancing on a cloud" sequence was originally going to be used in Cinderella. They even had a song recorded for that, called: "Dancing on a Cloud."

(If you're curious or haven't heard this song yet, here's a video of it. I like this song very much!)

But finally, the "Dancing on a Cloud" sequence was used in the ending of Sleeping Beauty.

So, now you know a little bit about the history of this dancing sequence lol.

(The Wish Art-Book does not confirm if the design of StarToy is a refrence to the deleted dance sequence in Snow White but it could be? To me they seem very similar but who knows.)

Now, before I go, I just want to show one more thing. 3 or 4 days ago I had this fun AU idea about my Wish rewrite. That idea was: What if the main character, WoaS Asha and Orion, were the opposite gender?

Meet Nico, the 17 year old son of King Magnifico and Queen Amaya. "Nico" is actually just a nickname that everyone uses for him because his actually name is "Magnifico Junior". Yes, WoaS Magnifico is one of those parents that want to make their children just like them. But Nico dosen't want to be like his father (Shocking, I know right?).

Next is Orina, the 17 year old star princess. Since this gender-swap AU idea is just for fun, I didn't think much about the plot and characters.

Oh my god- you are active here!? I've been following you since deviant art days, I've basically grown up with your work and it has helped me tremendously. The second I saw you shared that its totally ok to be like " omg your blog is odd can we have a philosophical discussion " I was like omg we are on TUMBLR it's the wild fucking west ! Time to talk oddities!

Ive always wanted to tell artists that draw ceartain animals as a specialty if they know that to therians, which are individuals who identify as nonhuman in a spiritual or physical ( like in a transspecies way) or any other integral way. you guys are literally our gold mines.

For one, i often have phantom shifts, (similar to phantom limbs) that are often inexplicable or some weird ass morph rarely seen and I've relied soooo much on your refrences to sort out what species I see myself as, age, and habitat ect. and yeah, I'm not even sure you even know what therians are, even though tumblr has the greatest population of them, including cetaceans and birds.

I wonder if you have ever visited the therian side of tumblr? I'm not sure if you are therian yourself, but you are welcome anytime as an ally if anything! There are a few cetaceans here, the waters fine xD

Also, being a therian actually had me thinking twice about cetaceans in human care and ur posts about it. cetacean therians on here often discuss high levels of dysphoria and often wish to be their true form and talk about hypothetical and philosophical conversations about such a scenario. Some liken the situation being in human care as preferred because we feel acclimated and attached to humans already. Obviously a cetacean therian is kind of an atypical cetacean so it isnt a 1:1 comparative to typical cetaceans, but a similar, sorta sci fi scenario because transition for therians are currently impossible. but even those discussions got me thinking about the arguments people make about animal welfare and treating animals in human care, especially born under human care as if they're not individuals. A lot of cetacean therians I meet would feel intimidated by the ocean in such a hypothetical transition scenario, and wouldn't mind interacting with humans. as hypothetical as it is it got me thinking about the gray areas (ok, pun intended) of cetacean care and enrichment that some activists seem to miss.

DA feels a bit dead these days but it remains one of the ancient internet hangouts where art people got to know each other and i love love love that so may of us survive and meet again on ye olde tumblr lol. and heck yes while fb is my official business page, tumblr is like my living room where everyone is welcome and i'm more than happy to receive messages!! I must admit I didn't know about therians until rather recently when I visited the blogs of some of my followers and saw they were therians. And i think thats dope!! I don't think I am one? But I'd be honored to be your ally ♥ And I so love love love that my art, and that of others, can be helpful. How beautiful, scientific art normally used to identify the other now used to identify thyself. How wonderful can art be! I don't think I am a therian, though I have had vivid dreams where I could turn into animals (usually birds) and actually had the feeling of what it was like to fly, how my muscles felt and the wind stroked my wings. I always loved those dreams. And it's lovely to hear that the ceta welfare and captivity discussions are appreciated too. Honestly, if I were to become a bottlenose dolphin, I think I'd prefer to live in certain facilities vs the open ocean too. Depending on the place and the people of course. But there's definitely a lot of grey area and dolphins are sooo different as individuals. I've only had real personal experience with the animals in Curacao but there was such a bouquet of personalities on display, especially when it came to the open water programme. Shy dolphins who were easily frightened by new situations and thus never went outside, bold males who didn't have to care about anyone else but themselves and so were daring, mothers who didn't want their child to go outside because a previous child had a mishap. They're not all one and the same dolphin! Anyway, thank YOU for the lovely message, and I'm so so glad my illustrations are also loved for such a personal reason by some ♥ Rock on all y'all!!

CANTO 6 PART 3 SPOILERS

Im beyond pissed, tumblr crashed in the middle of me doing this so this is going to be so much shorter than I want it to be. NON RYOSHU RELATED POST ABOUT THE HEATHCLIFF. The Erlkonig or Erlking is this figure in German Mythology who kidnapps children. When he touches you, he kills you. This poem made by Johann Wolfgang von Goethe then adapted to this song is what you see. Erlkoning Heathcliff is trying to intice Heathcliff to die by telling him that it's his fault Cathy is dead. All identities refer to the sinner as "child" when you look into their uptie stories. Mili and the singer of the video here use the same technique of changing the tone and pitch of their voice to differntiate two characters.

The Wild Hunt is a part of Norse Mythology where Odin, mounted on his sixed legged horse Sleipnir, goes through the forest. According to norse-mythology.org, anyone who gets caught up in The Wild Hunt, spotted or seen, gets carried away. Your soul will get incorporated into The Wild Hunt. We all know Erlking Heathcliff did, the rising of the bodies. The Wild Hunt is also mostly describe as having hounds, and who was a hound? Hindleys.

From the same website, on the page of Sleipnir reads,

Also, the horse that heath rides on has a weird liney pattern on it's 4 legs that kind of look like that runestone. There's more connection here, I just don't want to type it again.

How did Project Moon mix two diffrent mythological ideas together? (Its not just two, they mixed so many more.) Meet human mistranslation and the progression of oral tradition and story telling throught time. I don't kno where to start. There was mistranslation poem when, according to ancient-origins.net Johann Gottfried Herder wrote a seperate ballad from the one I linked at the start called Erlkönigs Tochter.

The Anglo-Saxons were early German settlers. This is where things get messy because I have several more potential leaders of the Wild Hunt but here are two, King Herla and Herne The Hunter.

Herne The Hunter: Popularized by Shakespeare potentially from a play called The Merry Wives of Windsor. This man called Jacobb Grimm said that Hene The Hunter was related to Odin. Herne the hunter is this ghost. I found this other website article about Wild Hunts which kind of brings me to the next thing, the Harlequinn. They weild clubs, their devils, the image of them is popularly joyful? Maybe goofy and lighthearted? Perhaps associated with cards? Matt, or Heathcliff's portrayal of Matt. Now, I'm looking at Wikipedia and I see this section.

What do we have here? A mention of the Erlkönig, Dante's Inferno, masked, club weilding giant. Heathcliff's not giant but hes pretty tall, at least by my standards but whatever, im very short. DANTE'S INFERNO, Canto 11 and 12. What the fuck Project Moon, are you playing 5d chess?

Back on topic, Hellequin is the fairy king, and this figure pops up in German, French, Italian, and English folklore. I can't do proper research when all my search results are mixed with random junk and I'm becoming nutty. You will not normally be able to access this article without paying but here's the link anyways. Journal Article from this book on a section about horned deities made in 1922 speaks of a group of ghost riding, who are also huntsman.

And also another mention of Dante's Inferno. The name, Herne The Hunter is mentioned again.

All and all, The link between The Erlkonig and The Wild Hunt isn't as wild and unexplainable as I originally thought. It's just so cool to see all these concepts intersect. There still so much to touch upon like the headless horseman refrence and the Dullahans, RYOSHU COMPARING THE WILD HUNT TO THE PARADE OF 100 SPIRTS, something along that line, I forgot the name. I'm just not the right person to yell about this but I will anyways. The writers mixed so many symbols of death into one character. Such a wild and nutty Canto. Thank you so much Project Moon.

( TFA Optronix Prime still sounds like David kaye megatron from Armada, doesn't matter if his holo is a lady.

Note to readers, Jazz has been referring to TFA Optimus/Optronix since part 38 with she her pronouns. TFA Prime is just like alright cool whatever suits him. This is part 58.

As this is a Jazz themed chapter, Optronix is going to be refrenced with only female pronouns to make it easier for me.)

So this was it, this was the place, a bar with live performances, the stage set up with the back drop of a deep indigo velvet curtain with stars that shimmered and glittered in the flattering spot light.

This was certainly unexpected.

Optronix had expected Jazz to take them somewhere that was loud, flashing bright lights, where the music would beat so hard it'd vibrate through your core, along your spinal strut and make even their tech struggle to hear each other over the thumping of the beat.

But this was a place where you could talk and...wait was that an energon bar and one for humans to?

"The energon here is more like small bite size pieces and imported, it's not your usual stuff, this is the kind that has absolutely no nutritional value but puts a buzz in your circuits and tastes great."

Jazz explained taking Optronix's hand, their Cybertronian bodies already in storage and both had absolutely done the walk around of the other to admire each other's form.

"I see, so you have ways to make human holograms already, maybe I didn't need to give you that device after all."

She chuckled , pulling her hand from his only to wrap her arm around Jazz's.

"Nah girl, your tech is way more advanced, our holos can absorb energon, but touch always gets funky between holograms, like look over there."

He motioned over to where two transformers currently in their holo form. In the middle of making out their faces were shattered pixels that continued going haywire.

"Can they still feel that?"

Optronix asked in fascination as she tried to look in closer.

"And then some, but not too be forward I'm definitely curious about how it'll feel when-"

Jazz never got the chance to finish that sentence as she grabbed the collar of his white coat that had no sleeves and kissed him, it was playful first, a press of the lips, giving him the time to respond and sink into it as his hands rested on Optronix's lower back, optics closing as they sank deeper into the embrace.

Ahhh so this is why everyone she'd been with on the Ark always looked so content and dreamy when she'd offered them a taste of her affection.

When they parted she looked up at him smiling

"So how does my tech match up?"

Optronix chuckled, touching the pink energon hue in his dark cheeks, even the blue visor was glowing brighter.

Jazz's response was an incoherent ramble before he cleared his throat.

"I think I might need to experiment more before I come to my decision."

He smiled, waggling his eyebrows, his spark skipped a beat as she actually laughed, not a put on one , but an actual light fluttering laugh of happiness, considering this was supposed to be the darker side of Optimus from another world, so far she'd been rather pleasant in his opinion.

"Oh is that so Mr Jazz, well then we'd better have another test run."

She pulled him down down to her level, hands curled into his sleeveless jacket and kissed him deeply, there was no holding back, and symbolically Jazz's door wings popped out of his holograms back.

He had to stop her before he followed down her path of thought.

"Woman you are dangerous."

He grinned, cheeks now practically glowing energon pink, her hands still on his chest as she whispered against his ear.

"Honey, you have no idea."

Jazz's wings flutter, and she couldn't help but look up at them

"You're not being very subtle are you, anyone here who can read those are seeing you scream peg me."

Optronix took his hand and looked around, trying to find a corner just for them, only to see two Holo humans that couldn't be mistaken for anyone but Soundwave and Megatron.

Megatron was trying to hide the smirk at the reaction of Jazz's door wings.

Soundwave, however, had a look, though it appeared calm. He looked like he wanted to tear off Jazz's wings and shove them where the sun didn't shine.

Jazz controlled himself and stopped his wings from displaying, only to notice where she was looking.

"You wanna go say hi, looks like you miss them."

Wrapping his arms around her from behind, whispering

"Looks like Soundwave looks jealous, I'm up for making him livid if you are?"

"Ohhh are you sure you're an autobot?"

Optronix returned, leaning her head to the side, long dark hair, spilling over her shoulder as Jazz placed slow kisses to her neck.

"I can be devious when the moment strikes and I'm sure you wanna tease him just as much as I wanna see him get jealous over you."

"You're just as bad as the twins."

Her hands on his as they held her waist, swaying to the music of some unknown artist on the stage, finding comfort in his embrace, warmth and strength, it was fun knowing in this moment she had a playmate, that the Autobots weren't all perfect little goodie twoshoes.

While Ratchet had his dark fantasies and Prowl with his need to be practically held down to show he was wanted...sideswipe and Sunstreaker she just couldn't get into berth with they seemed younger than her and that was just a put off, but she enjoyed their jokes.

Jazz seemed like someone who would take her hand and bring her along for the street races, for the dark alley ways and nasty little coners while being a gentle mech about it.

But Soundwave was possessive, she could see he was fighting not to break the table infront of him and that thrilled her.

"You know Jazz, it's going to drive him crazy when he realises he can't touch me like you can, I haven't even given him one of my holo projectors, I'll have to when I go back but for now this is fun."

It was however Megatron who came up and grabbed Jazz by the collar and pulled them both along back to their table.

"Hello to you to Daddy."

Optronix teased as they were pulled along and moved to sit next to Soundwave, who was staring at her, his eyes unable to peel away from Optronix, no matter the name, visage Orion had, Orion was his , no matter who she slept with, who she was with.

Megatron's laugh was full of mirth as he greeted her

"Hello to you to kitten, are you having fun on your vacation?"

He held Jazz's jaw, examining him, his hand glitching and pixelating as it came into contact, noticing how Jazz's form didn't have the same reaction, he passed a look over at Soundwave, a silent of conversation that clearly Orion had given Jazz the same type she'd given Thundercracker.

"You've chosen rather the attractive visage for yourself haven't you Optimus's second in command, was this your design or hers?"

Now this was a turn of events as they found themselves sat between them. Jazz hadn't expected Megatron to give him a look over or for Optronix to put her legs over his lap and a hand on his chest. Well, now if they wanted to give him attention, who was he to complain, this was a no fighting zone, the equivalent of a Maccadams.

"I went with what felt good for me, not my fault if the lady digs me, just means Optronix has good taste."

Jazz winked , giving her a playful smile in which she shook her head and stifled a laugh, another genuine one.

"For a human it is rather handsome."

But she was trying hard not to keep peeking over at Soundwave, his one...those eyes, those lips, Optronix wanted to kiss him, it'd been a day and a half and she shouldn't have missed him the way she did, but he was the itch under her skin that was becoming frustrating.

She couldn't get too close because one day, any day...she could be ripped back into her own world.

Megatron let Jazz's face go and waved his hand at the passing waiter.

"A round please of the best energon you have, we are here to relax, and would prefer the buzz sooner than later."

The waiter nodded, took the Shanix, and went off.

Optronix kept an arm around Jazz as she leaned forward, a hand now placed on Megatron's Megatron's

"I'd kiss you but it'd short circuit that old tech you're using, though with the way I can sense Soundwave looking at me, he's considering short circuiting himself for one kiss."

Soundwave cleared his throat as he looked away, all he wanted to do was reach out and brush the hair from her back and stroke long her shoulders and over her spine, the way the dress cut down into a graceful v under the shoulder blades , had him aching to leave the same gentle kisses on her play pretend form as Jazz had.

She slipped from the one she was currently posing as into that male body , still wearing her dress and gloves that stopped below the shoulders, seeing his lips part , sitting on his lap, arms around the back of Soundwaves neck now, feeling the tingling of Soundwaves form as everywhere she touched glitched and pixilated.

"Oh you do? Look at you barely holding yourself together, you're being naughty aren't you? You've stopped making this holoform react because you couldn't obey my commands."

"Negative, signal simply short circuiting, handsfree overload however imminent if you continue."

That had Optronix grinning wickedly and definitely Jazz and Megatron looking on in eager anticipation to see what choice she'd go with. However, Jazz hid his smile behind his hand, oh he knew, and what a devious minx she was.

Her form slipped back to the femme one, a hand grabbing the back of his head, twisting a handful of hair in her fist as she licked along his neck and teased at his belt.

Nipping at his neck with her fangs she whispered

"Imagine if I let you fuck me right here infront of them."

With that Soundwave's hologram short circuited and disappeared and she landed awkwardly against Jazz, laughing her ass off

"He'll need time to recover after that, alright now where were we."

Megatron however was half considering locating Optronix's body and just bringing her back to the Nemesis and to his own quarters.

Primus damn it, his kitten was a fucking tease and he was here for it.

Jazz , put and arm around her shoulders

"I'd love to hear more about your version of Iacon , we could swap stories, I think that'd be fun , I'm sure Megs here would enjoy that to."

"Don't call me that Autobot."

The Decepticon leader huffed, flicking the autobots ear.

Optronix enquired , leaning forward, her arms pressed together making her chest lift.

Looking around at other beings shaped in the same way he hadn't really noticed before.

"Strange design, I wonder if they add a layer of armour or protection in some way?"

Jazz however did know and chimed in

"They're actually meant to feed the new born humans, over time they've become fetish items. I was curious about human culture, but yeah I gotta agree with her, why are you here? Doesn't really seem like your scene."

The drinks arrived and Megatron started on his.

"That's my own personal business, it's not my fault if you've displayed to the entire club what yours is."

What he meant was , Soundwave had been spying on them with Laser Beak and found out they would be here, he'd come as emotional back up but hadn't expected Optronix to be so publicly frisky with Soundwave to the point the mech short circuited.

Optronix leaned against Jazz's side, an arm around his waist and nuzzling his neck

"Maybe he's just fussy I scared off his date, but I think maybe I have some fun stories to share, not everything I experienced was a nightmare."

-Mainly the 7 Teens we're going to be in the background and not in the story. But once I got the ball rolling after writing Gabo, I wanted to give the other teens more of a role and they got put back in! The idea here is that they grow as friends and end up becoming a weird but fun little family with Asha.

-Actually, no! I was going to have Simon stay the traitor, until I saw the "Finding Flazino" scene. Simon wasn't a traitor, but I felt like there were hints that either there never was a traitor, or Dahlia betrayed them in the original draft. So that gave me an idea to actually switch it up and maker her the traitor, since she's so loyal to the king in the movie.

-One other ending that I changed was that Star would sacrifice himself by absorbing all of the royals' powers and letting himself explode high in the sky so everyone in Rosas would be free from the dark magic. Leaving only Asha with a tiny bit of pure stardust from his own magic. However, I rejected that because it would be too dark. Star wanted to supernova himself while in space, and it felt like it would be messed up for him to end up saving the day by doing that. So now, its still a decision between the Lilo and Stitch ending or the Bing Bong ending.

-3 of them! Star turning into an elephant and being a cross between Dumbo and Abu's elephant form, Star saying Stitch's "swearing" line: Meega Nala Kweestra, and my absolute favorite from Magnifico: "Well bippity bobbity boo, you can do magic!" (I'm so proud of that one! 😂)

-Sabor was definitely planned to be a silent character. I wanted to show he could still be an expressive character without being a talking animal. I did have one scene in mind where Star give Sabor magic to get info from him, but all the cat did was insult the entire cast. Then Star got fed up and took away his speech. He would then understand why Valentino didn't want to talk. 😂

unexpected theory that i stumbled upon

I am in a JOJOLands discord server and a member of the server had this theory that I think should be shared. They plan on posting the full scope of it on Reddit (so I'll add the link to it here when it gets posted). In the meantime, I'm gonna summarize what I've found based on their discussions so far and add my own theories to it.

(This will be a long one :P)

The theory in particular involves the star emblem Jodio poses in that has numbers at each arrow.

On one hand, those numbers could simply be counting each point or is in reference to how there has been 9 parts for JoJo so far. But... what if the numbers are in refrence to this instead:

This is the Enneagram of Personality, a personality assessment that consists of nine personality traits. It's a system that focuses on a person's emotions regarding motivations and fears. Each of the nine personality types is defined by a particular core belief about how the individual thinks the world works. It's believed no one really changes from their numbers but one can relate to more than one number and each number has levels ranging from "healthy" to "unhealthy" that a person can resonate with over time. What's interesting is that the Ennegram is made to resemble a star, with the number 3, 6, and 9 working as a triad that symbolizes wholeness.

There are other details regarding the arrows such as sub-types, wings, and arrows, but we're going to focus more on the surface stuff in this post (the Reddit post can dive deeper). But, how does this relate to The JOJOLands?

Well, what if you place the numbers with the arrows? Not just literally but let's also have it match more with the Ennegram as well. Let's also try to put the numbers aligned in two different ways (images created by the person on the server).

With the numbers aligned vs with the empty arrow pointing upwards:

We can call the first one the original placement and the second one the "inverted" placement to differentiate the two.

But, there's more. Do you remember what the cover art for "Chapter 8: Let's Look at Luxury Watches" is? Remember how it shows the same emblem but with the 5 known characters at the moment?

It looks like each character is associated with a particular point of that emblem. Let's put the Ennegram numbers on them and see what they look like with the original placement and the "inverted" placement. The original OP also made these images.

Why does this all matter?

It obviously looks like the characters aren't just decorated around the star emblem but each one is associated with a number on the Ennegram. With the inverted, it also appears as if most of them change numbers.

Now, if you look at the numbers they're associated with in the "before" photo, you realize their personalities align with the numbers in the Ennegram.

Jodio has the ambitious goal of becoming obscenely rich. He prides himself for being reliable, getting the job done with no questions asked and mentioned how being this way gained him praise and money among other things. His recent diagnosis makes him speculate he could be a psychopath. 3s are are goal-oriented, viewing success as being praised for their achievements, and they act with efficiency. Their ambition can cause them to be relentless, even psychopathic.

Rohan is looked up to by Jodio among others and is considered a creative, inspiring individual due to his success as a mangaka and the perfection he strives to have in his works. Despite his actions towards the team, he continously warned them of danger during their interaction and even advises Jodio before they part ways. 1s are known to be perfectionists due to their creativity and their self-awareness, which inspires many. This belief makes them think they're different from others, which can translate to being critical of others and an air of self-righteousness due to their moral compass believing they are better than others.

Usagi is considered an oddball since the beginning yet proves his potential with how intelligent and inqusitive he is. Even if it got the team out of trouble in some cases, his approach is unconventional and he is still considered a troubled individual to his peers, even rejected from further connections. 5s are known to be inquisitive and would spend hours observing and experimenting every detail and concept to gain more knowledge if given the opportunity. However, going too far with their discoveries makes them very eccentric and their desire to seek knowledge can eventually drive them to insanity.

Paco is a kleptomaniac addicted to stealing due to the rush it gives him and, despite being academically weak, is a very capable fighter and planner of the group. He's rather rash with his decisions but can take control of any situation, especially in a fight. 7s are known for being quick on their feet, able to plan and act on instincts when the situation calls for it, and make up their lack of studiousness with their street smarts. But, this impulsiveness and desire to act on energy means their addictions can lead to self-destruction much faster due to how much energy they go through and they could be associated with BPD.

Dragona goes out of the way to avoid further fallout or conflict deemed unnecessary or cause further trouble. They engage in peaceful things like yoga and is the voice of calmness and trust that contrast Jodio's more violent nature. 9s are known as peacemakers, valuing harmony and simplicity above all, which makes others trust them due to how stable they seem. This stubborness to keep peace can put them in a state of disorientation and reclusiveness that can manifest into multiple personalities.

While some believe Ennegram numbers don't change over time, seeing the inverted numvers show different numbers seem to indicate that the characters we see will evolve into their new numbers as the story progresses. This may foreshadow what will happen to each character or what they will become in the end.

2s are known to be empathetic, putting others first as givers, and desire to be loved above everything, yet it can be seen as manipulative and lead to self-victimization.

4s are known to be authentic, finding creativity and deep connections with others, but can fall into despair when dreams and hope are lost.

See 5, 7, and 9 above.

Jodio as a 2 means he could become more loving to others and take on the typical Joestar personality of pursuing justice and determination due to empathy. It doesn't necessarily mean he's "cured" of his inability to feel guilt or have no affection to others beyond his family, but it may indicate him learning to find connections and going on some sort of self-discovery as a result. At the same time, the happiness he desired could be interpeted as love he yearns to feel for, and he could be changing his purpose of pursuing riches to fit more of a 2.

Rohan as a 4 is harder to speculate what will become of him besides a possible return. We know little of Rohan's full personality in The JOJOLands but we know Rohan as an arrogant, discourteous perfectionist from previous iterations. This does seem to imply Rohan will be a more present mentor who embraces more of his imperfections and increasing an appreciation towards those around him. He's sort of started doing that already with Jodio at the end of chapter 5.

Dragona as a 5 means they may start becoming less avoidant and more assertive and proactive in taking control of the situation. I speculate they have some sort of block that discourages them from doing this currently, maybe due to lack of confidence or having a not-so strong Stand compared to Jodio or Paco. Or, maybe being in Jodio's shadow has made them comfortable with doing minimal work. Regardless, they are finally able to show themselves as their own Joestar and fighter in their own right. As a possible 5, this also means Dragona may discover something ground-breaking and it could lead to some major sacrifice; possibly, Dragona's life may end as a result.

Paco remains a 7, which I find interesting but understandable if there needs to be a balance between characters that dramatically change and characters that remain constant; Paco in this case is the latter. Still, Paco could become either a better or a worser version of a 7 to show how much he's changed as the plot continues. I could be possible that Paco becomes more valued for his quick mind despite his lack of intelligence or his addiction to stealing and being impuslive causes issues with the team and ultimately his downfall instead.

Usagi becoming a 9 points two scenarios. On one hand, his transformation points him to be an ultimate traitor. Maybe the reactions to his eccentricities results in him feeling like he needs to hide more of himself and pushes him to villainy because of rejection. On the other hand, Usagi may come to realize he doesn't need to be complex and go beyond to try making friends, so he starts feeling more at ease. Either way, it seems like Usagi still has a wall of sorts hiding who he really is and becoming a 9 might reveal it soon.

We don't know too much about Knife Guy so far, but I'm guessing he's either going to be a 7 like Paco or a 2 who eventually becomes a 3. In the case of the latter, it could be due to Knife Guy pursuing the gang out of orders and following them to gain validation while lacking his own agency. Becoming a 3, especially under Paco's mentorship, may lead him to think about his own goals and ambitions instead of aiding the goals and ambitions of others.

The Enneagram also explains how the Stands work too. The Reddit post can go more into how these personalities relate to not just the characters but their Stand abilities and what the Stands might evolve into.

With that out of the way, I now want to talk about my two cents: the main villain.

What number would the main villain be? After all, there are 9 numbers total and only 5 (6 including Knife guy as I'm writing this) characters identified.

If we look at the chart and the inverted chart, there are only two numbers that remain untouched: 6 and 8. Coincidentally, they are the "inverses" of each other.

Between the 2 numbers, the main villain most likely will start as a 6 before turning into an 8. If you look at the Ennegram, the most obvious triad shown is the 369. I mentioned earlier how these three numbers hold significance in the Ennegram.

If Jodio and Dragona already took the positions of 3 and 9 respectively and no other character is a 6 so far, the main villain would most likely be the one to hold the 6 position. As a 6, this also implies they start out very close to Dragona and Jodio prior to becoming the main villain going against them. In terms of how close, a mutual friend or a relative is most likely since the two Joestars are siblings and the closest to each other in their gang. The main villain can also be someone completely unrelated but due to their role in society they are a major, unknown influence in Jodio and Dragona's life. Regardless, whoever it is will still fit being a 6 who becomes an 8.

If we look at the 6 and 8 traits on the Ennegram, something interesting comes up:

6s are seen as reliable. They are dedicated and ride-or-die with what they believe in, find security in having these loyalties. However, they can be driven to hysteria and dependency on what they believe in, being in deep denial when the beliefs starts failing, and then being lost when it crosses a point of no return.

8s are seen as assertive. They are the epitome of the ideal hero, confident in what they do and they end up becoming the voice to those who are saved or supported by them. Their actions, if left unchecked, can be seen as delusional and domineering, and some 8s are known to have ASPD and be sociopaths.

It seems like the main villain starts off as someone very loyal to some sort of system they support and are a part of. Something then happens (such as corruption, betrayal, and/or realization) changes them from a 6 into an 8. As an 8, they start doing things as a means of addressing the issue they found with this system that caused their change. They could be trying to save, improve, reform, or destroy it, and their actions cause more harm than good despite believing they are doing otherwise. Whatever the case, it clashes with what Jodio wants and thus making them a main antagonist preventing Jodio from his goals and harming his loved ones in the process.

What is the system, then? We don't exactly know but we have some possibilities.

The system could be something tangible and visible. The American legal system could be an example; we end up with a main villain who is a police officer, judge, lawyer, or social worker. Another example is American capitalism; someone as low as a migrant worker or as high as a CEO could become a main villain. Both could be individuals who feel mistreated by the system or has an epiphany on how to optimize it and both ways lead to them wanting to heavily alter said system at the cost of many lives.

Alternatievly, the system could be a more philosophical and invisible. A great example of this is the mechanisms. We end up with a main villain who either failed to achieve their goals because of it or succeeded yet remained unsatisfied. We can even have someone who started out with a similar life and goals as Jodio. In that case, the main villain could be some sort of warning of what would have happened to Jodio if he didn't change his ways.

In both cases, the main villain becomes someone who is a "hero" or "a voice to the people" because their change leads them to find followers that feel like they are being heard as a result of the main villain taking action for it. There are many careers that can allow someone to become such a voice, such as cult or religious leaders, social media influencers, celebrities, politicians, and more. Especially with how social media has made parasocial relationships prevalent, this could bring a new concept of betrayal that is seen today; think of modern influencer stardom or Asian idol culture. Similar to how DIO would have loyal minions sent to deter and defeat the gang in part 3, the followers of the main villain may become minor villains trying to stop the gang in part 9.

It seems to make sense that a villain would be an 8 because the last three villains we had could be described as 8s. Pucci wanted everyone to understand their destined fate, Funny Valentine wanted America to be a great nation, and Tooru wanted to change society for the sake of Rock Humans. All three were people of influence like mentioned above relative to where they worked (GDSP's Chaplain, president of the United States, Head Doctor of T.G. University Hospital respectively) and all 3 thought they were doing something good for a group of people. So, I speculate the main villain is in a similar boat and his attempts of doing something good may end up clashing Jodio's plans.

Something you might notice is that all the numbers have an associated personalty or mental disorder/symptom associated with them. This happens if the individual falls into the "unhealthy" levels of the number they are associated with. Note: they don't mean you will end up with such symptoms but rather they can explain why you have developed them. Most of the things listed repeat itself in some way and are rather generic (acts of self-destruction, having some sort of dependency or addiction, and becoming reclusive) but there are some that have specific diagnosis like BPD and multiple personalities listed.

What's interesting is ASPD and sociopathy is associated with the 8 personality. As someone who was diagnosed with ASPD by his school psychotherapist, you would think Jodio should have been an 8 for this reason and maybe start out as an 8 before becoming a 6. Instead, he starts as a 3, which does mention psychopathy, but that's about it, and he's expected to become a 2. Could this hint that Jodio's diagnosis is wrong (since the test itself is sketchy and diagnosing somone with that tends to be difficult to quantify in practice)? Or, is this going to end up being a battle between two individuals with ASPD and this could be some weird story about nature vs nurture (Jodio as nature and the main villain as nurture)?

I do wonder what this would all mean for Jodio and the rest of his gang. Even though Rohan mentions someone from the 3 of the gang members being potential traitors, the main villain is set up to be the ultimate betrayer of sorts. This is especially because of the potential that the main villain is very close to Jodio and Dragona, and it makes me speculate the main villain being someone like their estranged father, Meryl Mei, or maybe even Barbara Ann. When someone once mentioned the possibility of Josuke/Gappy becoming a villain, this theory puts him on the table too.

The tragic tale of a Ledian

Alright, so I normally write up the chapter I wanna post a day ahead and do any edits the day of. But after "that stuff" happened tonight I don't feel like writing about my silly Tentacool oc.

So instead, I wanna write about something else. A certain bug found in Jelloapocalypse's hit let's play, Dogs in Love. (this will contain spoilers)

So, we all know the titular Crap Gorps (and if you don't I highly recommend watching that series right now). He's one of the main characters in Dogs in Love 2! A Ladyba with self esteem issues who finds himself in the company of the cutest, most upbeat demon? and best friend a guy could hope for! But let's roll back the clock a little and talk about his past.

Our hero Crap was once a young horse-loving girl raised in post-Cypher Orre. Growing up with the name Crap can't have been easy. Going for the bar exam at such a young age can't have been any easier than that! But despite the stigma against Ladyba in the region, Crap found success both in his job and in discovering himself. Transitioning and finding himself mid court with a crush on the prosicution, Crap was more than eager to follow his heart wherever it lead.

Success however comes at a cost. Being a lawyer in the Orre region paints a target on one's back and Crap soon found themselves in the clutches of Cypher, converted into a shadow pokemon. Likely as a means to further cripple Orre's legal system... more likely because it was crazy easy to catch a lone Ladyba.

This task was made all the more easier due to the fact that, for as of yet unknown reasons, Crap had no familial support. He refrences calling them to tell them about his successes only to be immediately shut down and blocked from contacting them as they changed their phone numbers, from the sounds of it not for the first time. It would seem that no support would come for any Ladyba in the region, not from family, and certainly not from outside it. Why?

Let's consider Crap's only known relative, Horp Gorps. (briefly mentioned in the episode he got his name) We only know of one other Ladyba/Ledian in the series, the one that Wes and Rui left behind after capturing it in The Under. This to was a shadow pokemon. Unlike Crap however, it is canonical that Horp was never purified as the series ends on Umbreon and Espeon's wedding. In the very next episode, a whole five years later, it is revealed that Umbreon stopped being a terrorist. Wes however would go on to continue his crime spree, if mostly centered around blowing up Team Snagem's base every month. So the two would probably have gone their seperate ways immediately after the first season ends. Horp and the other shadow pokemon are never caught and purified.

This leaves us with a mentally unstable Ledian with it's heart closed off to others in a region where hating his species is the norm. Like many of us do when dealing with oppression and hate, we turn that hate inward. Horp likely came to hate not only himself, but other Ladyba/Ledian, just like the ones who abandoned him. That would make Crap's many successes in life an insult! They likely had a hand in naming Crap to make him feel bad about himself, so seeing this tiny bug overcome all that self-hatred would've drove Horp mad. Resulting in him turning the family against Crap at the first chance.

But there's a lesson here. Crap didn't stay a shadow pokemon forever after all. Instead, he got captured by a caring young trainer and met his best friend, Jolteon. With a support system in place, Crap was free to branch out and make new friends. Friends that saw him as capable and cool, despite his many health problems. They saw him for the pokemon he was inside, and I'm not talking about crunchy yogurt.

so, when i make animatics (or in this case a pmv, whatever), i usually have the idea for a while before i have the time and motivation to actually draw all of it, but i also have shit memory, so usually i make a little "storyboard", not really a proper storyboard, mostly just little extremly messy sketches (usually no one else can tell what s meant to be happening in them), not even to work out the composition, just so i won t forget what i wanted to go over which part of the song.

neglected space technically had a storyboard, from all the way back in october 2023 when i originally started working on it. i made it in ms paint one night and it s absolutely wonderful. you can see it but good luck making anything out

the colors mostly don t mean anything. i was losing my mind a little bit. the shots are numbered cuz i tried to count them to see how insane i d go drawing it

as you can probably tell from the previous attempts at making it, the idea for this pmv was always pretty similar to how it ended up looking (my composition ideas are and have always been boring), but a few shots had changed from how i d originally planned them out in that storyboard so i wanted to make a new one. i didn t have the energy for that however, so i made a sort of script instead. much like my so called storyboards, the script was mostly nonsense (it was just meant for me to not forget what idea i had). here s some of my favorite lines from it

saint. just saint. that was the script for the whole part with saint in it (i just had the shots in my head and this was all i needed to remember what goes on this part. but still it s funny)

usually, i draw my animatics in the order in which the shots will actually appear in it (and either i edit everything at the end of edit every few shots as i finish them). however, i knew that i wanted to make this thing beautiful and fully rendered and it is 4 and a half minutes long, and that s a lot of work. in some of my other animatics (for example, i think it s really obvious in the fall) you can kind of tell at which parts i started to get bored of working on it, and i didn t want this to happen with this one. so what i did is i slip it into parts- exactly the way that maps work, each part was between 10 and 20 seconds long, there were 21 of them in total- and i did those in a random order. i don t remember the order i ended up doing them in, all i can tell you is i did the first part (the first 4 shots, up to the one with the title in it) last, because i had drawn those 4 times already and i was TIRED of them lol

you can still kind of tell on which parts i was tired (like, i m so mad, srs is in this thing for ONE SHOT and it turned out so bad, but oh well) but it s not a big section of it, so it s not as obvious

as for actually drawing it. there wasn t a lot of planning for how the style of this was meant to look. in fact it originally wasn t going to be this detailed- the first shot i did is the one with artificer in underhang (the "the air in here ages me ungracefully" bit) and i think you can tell that one is slightly simpler than the rest. i just wanted it to be really pretty and it got out of hand.

thing is. i m not actually that great at drawing backgrounds. half of the reason the backgrounds in this pmv are so good is because i VERY heavily refrenced from the game, because fuck it, this game is beautiful and it s my fanart i do what i want. but yeah, all the background were drawn constantly at a screenshot, all the colors in those backgrounds are directly colorpicked from the game. i m pretty sure you could figure out exactly which rooms i refrenced in each shot. you could play rain world geoguessr with this thing if you wanted to- the only exception is the shot with rivulet on "where doorways with no doors stage a ballet of leaves", that shot is meant to be happening in the remains of the gate to outer expanse (idk if you can tell in the final thing, but oh well), i stole the colors from the furthest point of subterannean that rivulet can go to but i just made up what it looked like (it s meant to be bits of broken metal because i m pretty sure it s implied the gate just collapsed into outer expanse?? idk i m not a lore nerd, i thought it looked cool)

i made this thing in clip studio paint and paint tool sai, i used 2 different programs because each one has one brush that i really like so yeah i just changed between them. mostly the characters were drawn in csp, the backgrounds in sai and then i did whatever fancy blurring i wanted to do in csp

and now, this is called the struggles of making this thing, so time for me to complain about very specific things no one cares about

for some reason i decided that i wanted to have the lineart be slightly blurry. how i achieved that is copying the lineart layer (sometimes making it a different color) and blurring it. do you know how annoying it is to do that to EVERY SINGLE DRAWING. especially the shots that were a little bit animated and had like 6 different frames.

the compositions in this are very basic, partially because the game is 2d so i usually imagine shots of it in 2d, mostly because i am incapable of drawing things in perspecitive. the one shot of the underhang gate with survivor and monk fucking tortured me i spent like 3 hours just figuring out how it should work. also i realised that shot doesn t actually make a lot of sense because realistically there would be a wall blocking your view from the angle but shhhh

speaking of my struggles with perspective FUCK iterator puppet rooms. it s literally a box with a grid on it. AND sloped edges, just to make it worse. sometimes you can kinda bullshit perspective but it s LITERALLY JUST  A FUCKING GRID. fuck that. shoutouts to my sibling who did the lines on some of the shots for me cuz i was struggling. but at least i now have the funniest answer to "what is you least favorite room in rain world". the "save me the ache of slow decay" shot turned out really cool tho. idk what possesed me when i drew that one (it s one of my favorite lines of the song when it comes to how well it fits rw so i wanted that shot to look really cool, so i m glad it worked out)

also at some point my sibling asked me if i want them to do some of the backgrounds for me because, and i qoute, "i m pretty sure you are going to die otherwise" (they didn t, btw, i was almost done eith it at that point and just went naaahhh i got this)

i also really like how the shots for the part with saint turned out (if you couldn t tell by the fact i have one of them as my banner thing on tumblr lol). idk, the snow was fun to draw

when i was figuring out which shots go where in the final version i realised that i had every scug in it except gourmand, and i love gourmand, we couldn t not have them, so i put them in the weird black bg white lines flashback sequence

what i did NOT realise however, is that srs is in this for one shot and sos is in this for one shot and nsh isn t. (not counting inv and nightcat cuz they re not real) nsh is the only character that isn t in this. and i just think that s kind of funny. next animatic s gonna be about them to make up for it :] (unless i give up on that animatic. hopefully not. we will see)

i never got so burnt out while making this thing that i gave up on it (again, i was kinda doing it so detailed just because fuck it i can) but after i finished it i was like I AM NEVER DRAWING A BACKGROUND AGAIN.

also. i drew these little guys. so fuckin cute. like i m sorry to be admiring my own drawings but fr i was editing this thing a few months after i d drawn it and looking at my drawing of pebbles like why are you so small. who let you be so small.

and yeah i worked a lot on this thing. as i said i basically spent my entire summer drawing this. the rule was that i need to do 2 shots per day (i did some math at some point that if i did that i d have time to finish it. i m not that bad at math, but still kinda surprising it actually worked), and mostly i stuck to that. i really wanted to make this thing. i think there were like 3 weeks in total where i didn t do anything. i think a shot took me on average about 3 hours, counting breaks? so yeah this is truly what i did this summer

and then there is editing! which i definitely didn t put off for 2 months- ok to be fair in october i was working on the terrible things animatic cuz i wanted to get it done for halloween but still.

i actually quite enjoy editing. i use a free program called kdenlive that sometimes just decides it doesn t want to let you use an effect and sometimes refuses to render things properly but it s mostly pretty good

i recently discovered how to use blur and. the blur abuse in this one was real. the blur abuse shall continue into the future.

also, sometimes i edit entire animatics on a single file. but neglected space is 4 mimutes long and there s a lot of moving parts, and i don t trust either my laptop or my editing program to not crash, so i edited it in parts, rendered those, and then edited them together. it was kind of a pain, but probably less of a pain than if it had crashed like 20 times and messed up the rendering

also!! the subtitles. god the subtitles. so i wanted to have subtitles because this song s words are kinda hard to hear sometimes and they fit rain world so well and i wanted people to appreciate my artistic genius- but also because in my head it was meant to be that some characters are saying some of the lines. and. i can t really make that obvious because these fuckers don t have mouths (insert ihnmaims reference). but they do have canonical colors that they speak in!! so i can use that, that s cool!! (side tangent btw it kinda makes me mad that people sometimes use colors to represent the iterators but they use pink for pebbles and blue for moon, like 

i know that s more obvious and the blue might be confusing otherwise but please!!!! they have canonical colors!!! that they speak in in the broadcasts and it s the color of their overseers and the funny lights come on guys!! use them!!!) (side side tangent fun fact pebbles has like 3 different shades of blue, there s the overseer color, and then the broadcast color is weirdly a lot more greenish, and arguably the rot might also blue cuz that s his color but it s a lot darker for some reason. and then there s also purple rot cuz why not. i just think it s funny)

anyways so subtitles- now, my editing program technically can do subtitles (i used it for the terrible things animatic), but.. it doesn t let me make them fade out and overlap and stuff.. we can t have this, i need my subtitles to be cool.. so what did i do? i wrote them out in csp and i saved each and every line of those subtitles as a png and put it in. there are 111 pngs just for the subtitles.

if there s any typos in the subtitles that s not on me, that s on my 3 friends who got to see it a few days before i posted it for not telling me

i maaaaayyyyy or may not have slightly changed some of the lyrics of the song in the subtitles- listen. from what i ve seen no one can agree on what the words in this song are. maybe there s official lyrics somewhere and i didn t look in the right places but istg there are just some lines where everyone says it s something different. mostly i just went with what i first thought it said

one notable thing however is that there is a line in the song that goes "slithers of wistful window gazes glint in borrowed light". i, for (probably obvious) reasons, first thought it said slivers, and i was like ah, works perfectly, it s sliver of straw. in my defense tho- i looked up what the word slither means in this context and.

so yeah i think i m allowed to change that one

so as i said i have a kind of stupid way of making animatics, i draw everything, then i save the parts as pngs and then i edit them together. there s probably better ways to do it but anyways. here is some numbers for you

unless i am failing at counting (very possible) in total this ended up having 85 shots. and other than the subtitles there are 443 pngs

the name of the folder where i kept all the files for this is called "another attempt at neglected space". obviously i had very high hopes i d actually finish it. other folder names include: "wooo", "kill me", "pngs (kill me p2)", "the wonderful world of pngs", "ruffles your whiskers are killing me", "kill me p3 (wait no saint don t-)", "for the last time, pngs", "yes" and the complementary "no", and "editing (god help me)"

also this thing has like 5000 views on youtube now. that s insane. it s gotten recommended to me on my other account which i think is really funny. i was fully prepared for it to get like 20 views. i m so glad the people like it. every comment telling me about how it made them cry brings me indescribable joy, like yeah me too. i m just so happy people see the vision :')
