Can I please just say...I freaking called it?!

Earlier this year, I made a post talking about the dangers of converting 3D models from modeling sites. Particularly on the end of the original modeler. I mentioned how it's actually possible to RIP 3D meshes from sims 4 package files, and then resell them or use them elsewhere. This is why it's not ethical to SELL 3D models from places like turbosquid, CGtrader, etc without giving those original creators a HEADS UP about how you're using their content.

(And when I say a heads up, I mean being 100% honest about the possibility of their mesh being ripped, and if you're profiting from it!) And now we have Hauzz Architecture, who has made a very not so great name for themselves lately...PROVES THAT IT CAN BE DONE! Ironically, with content that was hand-meshed by other sims creators! They ripped meshes from Hel-Studio, and Winner9, and then offered them on their patreon for free, as if people somehow wouldn't notice...?

Friends, this is why we literally need to STOP encouraging this behavior. Converting is fine if done RIGHT, which means: - Contacting the mesh owner to get permission - Providing attribution when required - Being transparent with the community about your converting and NOT claiming it as your own. But this willy-nilly converting from any 3D model site/3D game we want without any care about the consequences of it and what it means for the ORIGINAL creator has got to stop. At some point, someone's gonna get themselves into significant legal trouble, and heaven forbid we have to see that day come. :/

Ever heard of Hauzz Architecture? Well now you have! STILL out here charging $25 for rooms that you can get on cgtrader for $7 🥴

Speaking of blendergram, I'll do you one better. Did you know that now people are making poses "blender only"?

I've made a pose or two in my day and I can tell you it only takes an extra 2 seconds to save it as a .package file. Making it "bLeNdEr OnLy" is not necessary. I play the sims, not blender. They do stuff like this on purpose. I'm not sure why blendergram is so discriminatory against in game players 🤷🏾‍♀️

Can we have the same energy with blender scene creators too 😩 they will have stuffed locked FOREVER! Using nothing but others peoples CC & it’s crazy I have to pay $10 for one scene I’m gonna use once

The complete insanity going on in this community feels like a fever dream. The part I don't understand the most is people will actually pay for it ano/ or defend these leeches.

Basically, just like the others, Deborah Hauzz is a real piece of work. I'm gonna leave the screenshots here in case you needed an example of what reverse victim blaming looks like:

Hauzz is very manipulative. I can feel the manipulation from all the way over here! (sidenote: the victim in question was allegedly 15. and that makes this 10x worse because Hauzz is pushing well past 30!)

Just like cowbuild and Bergdorf, she can't leave credit.

Part Three: The Tea is hot!

Before we go any further, I have to tell you about this website called CGTrader. It’s a website where you can buy 3D graphics for your own use. This includes graphics for Blender. I’ve never heard of it until I started looking into this whole Hauzz thing

Now, this next one is what really got me. It’s just so blatant! 

It’s like they didn’t even try!

As I said before, there is a website called CGTrader and that’s where Hauzz decided to take their business from now on.

They really went from taking from tumblr to taking from CGTrader

They straight up copy/pasted that blender room!

But that’s not the worst of it! Oh no, it gets worse!

This was the part that pissed me off! You can see for yourself why this is a problem

Mind you, you can still find the room on CGT for $5.....

And Hauzz still has theirs for $25.....

I don’t know about you, but I could get a couple of blender rooms and some tacos with $20 #I’mJustSayin

Hauzz must not understand the concept of Royalty Free. Royalty Free means that you can use the content without getting copyright striked. However, it does not mean that you do whatever you want. Like put it behind a $25 paywall. 

That violates so many Terms and Conditions!

but given your history, I’m guessing you’re an individual that doesn’t like to read those right?

And a month later, back at it again with the thievery!

At the time of the screenshot, the room was on sale for $3.50. I think it’s safe to assume Hauzz purchased it for that much. (As of September ‘21, the room is available for $7) 

Hauzz does a half ass job of giving credit where credit is due. It’s like pulling teeth for them. The internet clocked them again and the best they could do give a little mention on their instagram. There’s no mention of the original creator on Patreon as far that’s as I can tell. 

If there was any mention of anybody, We would’ve seen it. Or at least seen the first few words.....

That’s all the receipts I have (for now) that include the serial thief that is Deborah Hauzz. 

Debbie, if you’re reading this listen, I’m not here to come for your neck. I’m just here to show the sims community your indiscretions. 

You don’t like it, then how about you stop taking credit for content that isn’t yours. Why don’t you start leaving links to the CC you use?

Nothing new to see here folks, just Deborah Hauzz continuing to scam her friends and followers out of their hard earned money (bless theirs hearts and bank accounts)

Don’t you know we can see you?! It’s not like she’s doing this to Amazon or Walmart. These are other small creators that she’s stealing business from. That’s just unacceptable!

I can’t make this shit up!

You call me a vigilante and you thought I wouldn't notice this shit?! Debbie, what in the assbackwards are you doing?! 🤦🏾‍♀️ 

She’s over here playin with your money 💸💸💸 If you ever needed a good example of her just not giving a flying fuck ⬆ this is it! 

Allow me explain why this is a problem:

So let’s say you bought that room in July. Downloaded it and whatnot. Time passes and you computer crashes and you loose all of your CC. Including this room. So you go back to Hauzz’s Patreon to re-download the room (because at the time, you paid for it. Flashback to Debbie saying: “I paid for it, it’s mine!”) and now you can’t download it. Why? Because now it’s only available to upper tier patrons. Now, you can message Hauzz and hope that she sends you a link, though she might go the “it’s gonna cost you extra” route and make you pay for it again. I wouldn’t put it past her. OR you could just get it from the source and have it indefinitely. I only assume it works like how Origin works. Once you buy it, unlimited downloads. And they have sales quite often. So you have an opportunity to save even more money!

Debbie gives zero fucks as long as she’s gettin paid 🤷🏾‍♀️

Imagine paying twice as much for unoriginal content. #yikes 

Her friends and followers are getting dealt this hand y’all. And bless their hearts, they don’t seem to be too bothered. Debbie’s got that blind loyalty on lock! More power to you I guess. With all that being said, the problem isn’t the price Debbie. The problem is that you’re charging people for these rooms PERIODT. I’ve already explained this to you plain as day last time. I explained royalty free and everything. I guess at this point we need to get translator up in here or something because she’s not getting it #BlessHerHeart 

She doesn’t seem to be the brightest crayon in the box, so can somebody go break it down for her. Spell out all out. Use small words. Clearly she needs some extra special help understanding what’s going on here. It’s fine. We all need a little a help sometimes. Somebody send her some tutorials on how to run a business. Someone direct her to a youtuber that can teach how to Patreon properly. You’ll be doing the world a favor 🙏🏾

As you guys already know, I take issue with Ms Hauzz and her business practices. With that being said, I keep tabs on her, make sure she's not scamming the kids again. (Listen, simsta already called me a vigilante. I gotta live to the part!)

For awhile there, she was doin alright. Still not what I would've liked, but progress is progress

But then I got curious and decided to check back on our gorl

Today we’ll be talking about Ms. Deborah Hauzz.

Aka Hauzz Archtiecture, Aka Houzz Architecture, Aka Simshouzz

She’s a “Content Creator” that’s made quite a name for herself in the last few months. Love her or hate her, she’s here and she aint going anywhere!

I’m just here to document her story so far

Before we get into the tea. here’s a little background on our girl. From what I can gather, Hauzz stepped on the scene in January of 2017. It’s the earliest date I could find via twitter. As far as I can tell, Hauzz has always been about builds. Even in 2017 they were posting builds that they put together on their website, TheSimsCake. The website and Facebook page is no longer active. 

The only builds from Hauzz you’ll find now are the ones on their Patreon, and that only goes back to February of this year 👀

*Notice how there’s no more in game lots on their Patreon.(but there used to be!) You can still find old images of their lots on their twitter page

They took all of their in-game content down from Patreon and I think I know why!

It started in January of 2021. A tumblr account by the name of @hel-studio​ published this cute beach set:

I guess Hauzz thought it was cute too because they went and used Hel-Studios’ content without asking permission or leaving link

I don’t have the Patreon receipt, but you can always find receipts on the internet!

That same month, Hauzz was under fire again for the same thing. 

Different creator, same problem

I believe it was at this point that Hauzz decided to scrap all of their in game content and just stick to making Blender content. That’s why when you view their Patreon, it only goes back to February of this year.

Switching to Blender is fine. Do you boo.

But you brought that same energy to Blender though and it’s not a good look!

I honestly don’t know. Though it should be noted because a short time after that, they got clocked again for taking a creators content!

They have since then changed the bed, lamps, and end tables and put it up under a $25 paywall 🙄

Ya girl is back with some fresh tea! Had to take a mental break for a bit because

 G I R L it really do be a whole ass thing! And it’s exhausting! But now, my brain has had time to chill, we gotta finish this!

Previously on the Tea Party, I exposed homegirl for being a thief and she blocked me.  

But that’s not all she did. She also temporarily removed the incriminating blender rooms and (I assume) tried to inform her followers that she’s done nothing wrong. And then proceed to mouth off in her stories.

She can’t say it to my face though because she’s weak. 😏

So here’s her “official” response to the whole situation (she also put up some other irrelevant posts on her stories but honestly it’s not even worth posting)

Alright, so we have to break this all the way down!

First of all, notice how she doesn’t respond to the situation, she just deflects everything back to me. Typical behavior of someone who has something to hide. I feel like this more for you than it is your followers. I’m not the one who’s out here stealing sis! It seems like you did everything BUT apologize! I’m just sayin if it were me and somebody called me ALL THE WAY OUT. I'd have way more than this to say! You’ve been caught how many times sis? And that’s all have to say?
