isnt it fascinating, how tumblr not only became my space...it became a diary of the most painful periods of my life, and how much ive grown as a human, how much strength i developped throughout the time, still doing it, always a warrior. Still a warrior but one that learnes the enourmous importance of healing, of regeneration and calming down . Wow. It's emotional for me. Cause it's really like many tiny soulfragments of mine are living on here, for so many years. And the biggest pleasure is having created this safe space on here together with y'all♥️🙏It gives so much warmth. Tumblr has accompanied me throughout the darkest of times , like a hand reaching out to me, offering guidance and support. And im deeply thankful for that. I still write poems and loveletters to my younger self...and it brought tears to my eyes to recently have found my teenage tumblr again...it was time travel to another version of me...a much younger, naive and blinded one. Not knowing yet how much pain she would go through and how much it will make her realize her strength. I wanna hug her so so badly and tell her, that it's all gonna be alright and that we gonna make it. And that she's so strong and has such a good heart that has no right to be disrespected- by no one, ever. I rly wanna hug her and im doing it everyday- more and more, giving myself all the love back and healing . Feeling my warmth again. This is deep...thank y'all for being in this together , everyone having his package to carry, his life and his lil heart that has seen so much. I love u all, i root for all of u and I hug u all. U are warriors and I feel it deeply in my heart. And I know that life is fckin hard and uve seen it, felt it, heard it. Dont give up. Ur a strong warrior and warriors are healers. I wish all of u the best in ur healing process, whatever it may look like.♥️🙏Im thankful for how things are turning out. Hey! Another day, another theme! Today’s is called #SensoryAwareness.

The inspiration for this was an actual event (experiment) where a person who I seemed to have underestimated and overlooked had this unique “Sherlock’ish” ability to grasp every element around a scene and recount it with Eidetic accuracy. The person was exceptional at absorbing visual details and other body language cues from the general atmosphere to deduce key facts. Nothing short of genius. However, when the lights went off, the person was clueless and lost in darkness. The person had conditioned themselves to rely on the visual sense a little too much to the point where they’d even desensitised the #heartconnection.

That’s when I realized the superpowers people who we call #disabled, #impaired, #handicapped possess and are, in fact, truly #speciallyabled, #differentlyabled, #exceptional and are endowed with abilities and gifts that those who have all things functioning normally (“regular” “abled” folks) have decided to systematically debase, discriminate, and clearly overlook. This is a form of #Bullying, #Subjugation, and #Harrassment across modern society, where we treat those who are not exactly like us worse or differently.

Whilst the so-called regular able folks have become de-sensitised and ignorant through the indiscriminate and vast consumption and absorption (abuse) through their senses leading to maybe irreversible impairment of their sensory organs and the essential survival skill called #sensitivity, evidenced by the growing #violence and #conflict across the world, those who don’t rely on the senses completely, develop exceptional ways, including novel ones to understand, feel, connect, and communicate.

As a child, our senses are like the razor’s edge, however, with time and overuse it blunts significantly until it’s either smoothened and unreceptive or jagged and hypersensitive. Maybe that’s why we have offsprings to help us regain that fine edge again, so if you’re planning to go through with it, and those that are maybe worried that their offspring’s turn out “flawed”, this one’s for you too.

Maybe, a good gauge of our sensory awareness is our ability to support, love, and care for the most vulnerable, defenseless, and helpless in our own homes, communities, and societies.

This. Nothing else. No madness over fallin for someone. Not suffering bc of my own illusions. No codependency that almost drove me crazy. Life taught me so much about exactly this. How rare a genuine connection is, sb that calms u down (and other way ofc, too). Continuous support. Patience. Towards oneself, toward the other.Understanding. At one point i realized how I never really had this form of relationship with any man. It made me very sad to realize this. It made me depressive (esp after a 6 year relationship). At times, i still feel a burst of depression numbing me now and then, weighing heavily on me. It is still present and instead of numbing and ignoring it , i let myself feel it again so that this pain may leave. Being "madly in love" with someone lead to a self-constructed illusion that almost destroyed me mentally, bringing me to my lowest point in life. Realizing this illusion still hurts at times ...but it also showed me my enormous strength...and how being vulnerable and showing hurt and weakness is the biggest strength...to open up.to talk about it with ppl that truly feel u and understand what ur going through. Friends. Family. Loved Ones. They show us what sane and real genuine connections truly are. Not madness, nor obsession or posession. Pure trust. Continuous support. Gentle understanding. Empathy. Heartconnection is gently. Is smooth and warming. Id rather have these connections in my life. There is nothing else that I need now. I felt the truth. I still do. Love is gentle. Love never harms.

i don't want to be madly in love ever again... i want to be healthy in love, sanely in love, peacefully in love.
