Hit And Run Law : केंद्र सरकार द्वारा लाए गए हिट एंड रन कानून का विरोध पूरे देश में जारी है। इस कानून का विरोध करते हुए देश भर के ट्रक और डंपर चालकों ने जगह-जगह चक्का चाम कर दिया। ट्रक चालकों का कहना है, कि ये कानून गलत है और सरकार को इस कानून को वापस लेना चाहिए। हिट एंड रण कानून की वापसी की मांग को लेकर मुंबई, इंदौर से लेकर दिल्ली-हरियाणा और उत्तर प्रदेश समेत कई जगहों पर ट्रक चालकों ने अपने-अपने ट्रकों सड़कों पर खड़ा करके जाम लगा दिया है।

ट्रक और डंफर चालकों द्वारा लगाए गए जाम से लोगों को भी बड़ी परेशानियों का समना करना पड़ रहा है। जिसके कारण सब्जी, पेट्रोल-डीजल जैसी बुनियादी चीजों की सप्लाई करने वाली ट्रांसपोर्ट सेवाएं भी ठप हो रही हैं। देश के अलग-अलग शहरों में लोग परेशान हो रहे हैं। पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट का इस्तेमाल करने वाले लोग घंटों तक बस स्टॉप पर बसों क��� इंतजार कर रहे हैं। लेकिन उन्हें कोई पब्लिक ट्रांसपोर्ट वाहन नहीं मिल रहा है। पेट्रोल-डीजल की सप्लाई भी बाधित होने के कारण कई पेट्रोल पंपों पर ईंधन खत्म होने की बात सामने आ रही है। जिसके बाद पेट्रोल पंप और गैस स्टेशन पर ईंधन भरवाने वाले वाहनों की लंबी कतारें लग रही हैं।

I read the novel because the part of the show that never made sense to me was King assaulting Uea by having sex with him when he was well beyond his ability to consent.

King is depicted as being very sober (which could be an acting issue or it could be because of laws around how law or traffic violations can be depicted (read the tags if you're confused by that sentence)), but assaulting a drunk Uea is SO contrary to EVERYTHING else about his character, it never made sense to me.

So I read the novel to see what it said about that part specifically. Turns out, in the novel they're equally drunk.

the fun thing about les mis 98 is the plot is so bastardized that you can do whatever you want with it. like valjean loves fantine romantically and slaps cosette in the face, marius is The Revolutionary (this is why i don’t know anything about les amis, their names aren’t even SAID), eponine and azelma don’t exist but gavroche does, javert is The Bad Policeman and everyone else is normal, nothing has the same name except for paris, digne, and the *main* characters.

my feelings for this are more nuanced but in general I'm vehemently against AI "art" in it's current state (I had my art that was A GIFT FOR A FRIEND used in an data set and I hated it) because of the unethical nature of how they generate shit in the first place.

HOWEVER. I think "making art style copyrights" a thing will objectively make things even worse. I've seen petty internet drama over "art style theft" and frankly I'd rather it stay petty internet drama only.
