I don't think you should rename her. Think of all of the added angst you have, and what's worse, is that it was by ACCIDENT. Homeladner didn't name her, the mother had no fucking clue who Becca Butcher was.

So if Ryan, Homelander, or William ever meet her, it'll be hard a hard pill to swallow but a necessary one. For the girl has NOTHING to do with Becca Butcher. Is not related to her in ANY way shape or form.

But happens to have her name regardless.

Homelander x fem!reader

Word Count: 1.1k

Warnings: the reader being violent (squeezing someones arm so hard the bone almost breaks), insinuation that shes on a similar wavelength as homelander

Author’s Note: <3 I did in fact, write this covered in fake blood <3 and i'm posting this right after finishing it cause why the heck not

Summary: You and Homelander are caught making out by a paparazzi and Madelyn Stillwell is less than pleased.

Homelander cleared his throat. You didn’t even raise your head to look at him, you just kept your face down in the paperwork and raised your finger. He rolled his eyes, annoyingly turning around to look out the large window.

“Seems good. Why did they give you a new contract anyway? What are they gonna do, kick Homelander to the boot?” you asked, scoffing and closing the folder. He let out a sigh of relief at your approval and shook his head, raising both hands in exasperation.

“Beats me. Trust me, if I knew…” he trailed off and took the paperwork away from you. You smirked and shrugged.

“I’m sure it’s nothing.”

“You don’t think it’s that video do you?”

“You mean the video of you saving those wonderful children from a group of bad men?” you asked innocently. He pointed his red gloved finger at you and smiled.

“This is why you’re my favorite.”

“Hey, I try my best.”

The door to the meeting room opened. You and Homelander turned, confused. There wasn’t anything scheduled for today. You and Homeladner were only there for some privacy to talk and go over the paperwork.

It was Madelyn Stillwell. You stifled a groan.

“Good, both of you are here.” She had her phone out and she aggressively swiped through it. She turned the phone to you, still sitting in Homelanders chair at the head of the room. He kneeled over you so that he could see the screen as well.

It was a video of the both of you, having a very passionate moment on the top of a building. It wasn’t all that scandalous. No clothes were off, the cape was even still on. It was just some kissing.

“Mhm. Seems about right. I remember that,” you muttered. “You?” you asked Homelander.

“I was there.” Madelyn shook her head aggressively.

“Just because both of you are in the Seven does not mean you get to make out whenever you want. I have to approve all relationships before you go out doing such careless things! It could ruin your image Y/N! The whore who sleeps with the head of the Seven. And you Homelander, you want to be seen with the newest member already?!” Your mouth opened a tad and you scoffed. “Haven’t you ever read your contracts?!”

“I just read his,” you said, voice very even. You took the file from him and tossed it onto the table. It almost broke the table just from your sheer strength. “Nothing in there about you managing our personal romantic lives.” You stood up and pointed a finger at her. “And I’m not a whore Madelyn. I’d watch your tone if I were you.”

Madelyn’s jaw set. Homelander almost laughed but he held it back. He wanted to see what you would do.

“I can fire you just as quickly as I hired you,” she said back. You nodded, looking down briefly and then back up at her.

“Of course.” You put your hand on his arm and gave her a warm smile. “You’re right Madelyn. I should be more…” You started to squeeze. Homelander’s eyes went wide with either amusement or love, Madelyn couldn’t tell. “Careful.” Her face started to crumble with pain as you only tightened your squeeze. She dropped to her side, trying to pull away.

Just before being able to break her bone you pulled away. She grabbed her arm and breathed a sigh of relief.

“Stay away from each other,” she said finally and then hurried out the door. She would be back with another Supe to protect herself but for right now, you were both alone. You turned back to Homelander.

“What’d you do that for?” he breathed.

“I felt like it. Why do you think it was-”

You didn’t even get to finish your sentence before his lips were on yours. You hummed into his breath, holding back a smile. You couldn’t fly but you felt your feet no longer touching the ground. You put your arms around his waist, pushing yourself as close to him as you could so that you wouldn’t fall to the ground.

You pulled away.

“We’re floating,” you whispered, looking into his eyes. His own eyes went wide and he looked down at the ground and chuckled but didn’t move.

“We are.” Your head was on his chest as you kicked your feet gently back and forth.

“Don’t drop me,” you muttered, laughing.

“I won’t.” He held his grip on you.

“Oh well,” Homelander started, looking into the eyes of the interviewer. “I just thought she was wonderful the first time I met her. My team is amazing but it needs new blood.” His fingers drummed against the back of your hand as he held it. “Turns out she was what I needed too.”

You suppressed the scoff from his flowery words.

Homelander smiled a small genuine smile. He actually believed that, for once.

“And you? Were you scared of him, considering his status?” the interviewer asked. You made eye contact with Madelyn Stillwell behind the camera and shook your head, a small giggle playing off your lips.

“Oh not at all! He’s so nice when you get to know him.”

Homelander loved that you lied unasked. He squeezed your hand and you smiled over at him.

“Well they sure are in love. I’m surprised Homelander found out he had emotions,” the producer whispered to Madelyn. She cleared her throat, picking at her nail as she had her hand raised to her face.

“You don’t think it’s an act?” “No. Why is it?” She rolled her eyes.

“I wish.”

“You know,” Homelander said. “There was this one instance where she did something that impressed me so much, I actually started to fly on accident! She had to tell me we were up in the air!”

I’m sorry for the lone dialogue but I needed to post this because it shows insight on how JOHN became to be the way he is now... (but with that being said I would like to see some scene of him when he was younger so we can truly feel it.)

EFF and ACLU sue Trump administration over warrantless border device searches

The Electronic Frontier Foundation and American Civil Liberties just filed a lawsuit against the Department of Homeladn Security on behalf of 11 travellers whose devices were searched at the US border; they assert that warrantless device searches violate the constitutional restriction on searches without probable cause.

The Trump administration's CBP has significantly ramped up border device searches, and is on track to conduct three times more searches in 2017 than the CBP performed in 2016.

The plaintiffs include Sidd Bikkannavar, a US-born NASA JPL scientist who was detained by CBP and coerced into divulging authentication information for his devices, putting classified data at risk.
