So I did it 🙌 I made soap nut shampoo.. see the last picture for the bubbled glass jar of what looks like cloudy cider 🥰🤣🙌 ( don’t drink it though ) . . This made two cups of * shampoo* . Which lasts around 10 days ( or longer in the fridge) . But in our house we go through shampoo like no ones business ! . You boil / simmer up 5 soap nuts - for ten mins in 2 cups of water .. let it cool . Sieve out the soap nuts. Store the shampoo in a lidded jar.. . Store in the fridge for longer preservation. Remember the is natural - NO preservatives. NO nasties NO chemicals. . . It’s easy to make up shampoo weekly - you could have it in a pan while you are cooking the Sunday dinner. . . How To Clean Chalk Off Pool Cue Tip?

Do you know why billiard players put chalk on the tips of their cues? The reason for this is that chalk aids in making more accurate shots. However, the cue tip can become damaged from overuse of chalk.

Don't stress out about the chalk on your pool cue tip; we've got you covered. Cleaning the tip of your pool cue can be a challenge, but we'll show you the simplest at-home techniques so you can get the job done.

One Approach: Alcohol Find the spot where the chalk is on your cue first. Then, fill a spray bottle with alcohol and apply it on the cue, taking care not to completely submerge it. Apply some rubbing alcohol to the cue and wipe it down with a soft cloth.

Second Method: Wood Polishing Wood polish can also be used to clean the tips of pool cues. Once the chalk is gone, give the cue a light coat of wood polish to preserve it.

Sugar soap, method 3 Another useful cleanser for pool cue tips is sugar soap, which can be found in most kitchens. Gently buff the cue with some sugar soap with a kitchen towel or other small cloth.

Method 4: Use a special cleaner made for wood. Cleaning and protecting a hardwood pool cue stick using an item designed for that purpose is a terrific idea. Use a product made especially for wood if you want to protect your investment.

Step 5: Use Pure Oil Keep a dry towel close by after each game to wipe away the chalk and keep the tip of your pool cue clean. The cue should also be oiled lightly once weekly to preserve it in pristine condition.

Finally, if you want your pool cue to continue performing at a high level, you need to remove the chalk from the tip. If you want to keep your game on point, you should keep an eye on how dirty your cue is and clean it periodically.

After finding 4 x 5 litre bottles of white vinegar for £15.00 I was able to use a whole bottle of it for cleaning vinegar. . . Due to us having a cat lemon wasn’t an option but Orange works better for me anyway as it works as a degreaser as well. Perfect for the kitchen and bathroom. . . I used the peels from 4 oranges and popped inside a half used bottle of vinegar before topping it up to full again. It’s now in the cupboard for 2 weeks until it’s ready. . . For normal use I will be using a cup of the vinegar with a cup of water in the spray bottle. . . For more greasy cleaning like the oven and stove top I’ll be using it as is no dilution. . . The vinegar smell does evaporate and the orange does hang around so no worries and it’s all good. . . Simple and cheap cleaner as I now have enough for around 6 months for around a fiver and I’ll still get a couple of jars of orange jam as well so I’m a happy pixie!!! . .
