Vertical Glue Mixer: Efficient and Uniform Adhesive Mixing for Plywood Manufacturing
Tumblr media
In plywood production, efficiency and precision are the most important factors in ensuring high-quality board production. One of the most crucial elements in this production is the Vertical Glue Mixer—a revolution in uniform adhesive mixing for better plywood bonding. If what you're searching for is an advanced glue mixing technology that maximizes productivity and reduces waste, this futuristic machine is a production-line essential.
Why a Vertical Glue Mixer?
A Vertical Glue Mixer is specifically designed to provide homogeneous adhesive mixing for plywood, ensuring a consistent glue spread on veneers. Unlike conventional mixers, a vertical mixer offers better blending, reduced glue wastage, and improved bonding strength, making it a preferred choice for modern plywood factories.
Key Benefits of a Vertical Glue Mixer
1. Superior Mixing Efficiency
Vertical design allows for complete and even blending of adhesives, which creates even viscosity and consistency across the batch. This produces improved plywood adhesion, minimizing defects in the finished product.
2. Economical Glue Use
Effective adhesive dispensing implies that manufacturers can lower the use of glue without affecting the quality, resulting in extensive cost benefits in the long run.
3. Reduced Production Cycle Times
Using a high-speed mixing device, a vertical glue mixer reduces preparation time, enabling production cycles to be completed quickly and output to be maximized.
4. Minimal Maintenance & Longevity
Designed with robust parts and sophisticated automation, these mixers have negligible maintenance needs, making them a sound long-term investment for plywood production.
5. Eco-Friendly Operations
By minimizing glue waste and maximizing adhesive blending efficiency, a Vertical Glue Mixer supports an environmentally friendlier plywood production process with decreased ecological footprint.
Selecting the Most Suitable Vertical Glue Mixer for Your Plywood Operation
In selecting a Vertical Glue Mixer, there are important considerations to make:
✔️ Mixing Capacity – Select a machine in conformity with your volume of production.
✔️ Automation Features – Choose a model with easy-to-use controls for convenient operation.
✔️ Material Compatibility – Use one that can handle different adhesive types for general applications.
✔️  Manufacturer Reputation – Buy equipment from a reputable plywood machinery manufacturer for guaranteed quality.
A Vertical Glue Mixer is an important investment for plywood plant owners who want to improve efficiency, quality, and cost savings. A few rewatches ago, it occurred to me that when Phee meets the Bad Batch, she - being what we learn is her usual snarky self - comments on the lack of homogeneity in their appearance ("So much for quality control") and specifically points out differences for each one.
Each one, that is, except Echo.
Seeing as how we later learn that Phee is a priceless gem of a friend with a heart of gold under all that snark, I can't help but think that Phee took one look at Echo and, despite likely not knowing his whole backstory, was intuitively like Nope, I'm gonna leave that one alone.
And I don't know why, but I love her even more for it.

Headcanon about Bail's accent
I noticed there is a rather sharp shift between Revenge of the Sith and Tales of the Jedi/The Bad Batch. (It's even thicker in those two than it was in Clone Wars, where he's portrayed by the same voice actor!)
The Republic, for all its flaws and corruption, is all about bringing different types of people together in pursuit of a common goal. In contrast, the Empire is all about being homogeneous. Everything must be The Same.
Now, they don't have time to worry about standardizing an Imperial dialect- they have much more important things to worry about, like non-humans in power *horrified gasp*. HOWEVER, someone suggests to Bail, who is from a lower prestige region of Alderaan (although he'd still have to come from an elite family to have gotten close enough to Breha to marry her, unless it's some kind of Jasmine and Aladdin situation), that he should consider changing his accent to be more like the "normal" (read: prestigious) Alderaanian accent.
Bail promptly dials his native accent up to eleven as a subtle "fuck you" to the Empire and everything it stands for.

Been thinking about sister the canon trans clone
Imagine being bred, grown in a test tube, and raised in an environment buiit from the ground up to sculpt you into the template of the ideal man. Created alongside millions of others to fulfill a specific role literally modeled after one specific guy and fit into that mold, that uniform group of homogenous, perfect soldiers. Knowing that anything that makes you different makes you divergent from the man you're supposed to be, different from your brothers, where difference all to often makes you one of the rejects or weirdos or “bad batch” destined to either be separated from your only family or perform menial labor as you watch them all go do the thing you've been told is your destiny, your purpose, the reason you're alive at all. Imagine thinking you're defective, not normal for being trans and that LITERALLY being the case by virtue of your conception? You and all your brothers are supposed to be the same guy a million times over. Imagine how you'd react when you figure out you're not even a guy.
Idk i think it also really adds to the underlying message throughout clone-related media about individuality, how a group of clone soldiers who are, again, all ostensibly the same guy can vary and be complex and unique people with a complicated but loyal relationship to their brothers and themselves, that they have purpose and lives beyond what theyre “supposed” to do or have. And how tragic it is that they're ultimately treated as disposable machines.
Anyway I'm just glad her story ended up being a positive one and that her brothers accepted her and she could be herself and also that she met Anakin Skywalker and he was like “jedi transcend things all the time so transcending gender is pretty nifty."

by Joel Margolis
Israel’s military operations in the Gaza Strip comply with international humanitarian law in part by guiding civilians away from the urban battlefields that arise ad hoc during the war. Yet astonishingly, some observers have mischaracterized these public safety protocols as violations of law.
Human Rights Watch has called Israel’s relocations of civilians in Gaza “displacements” that amount to the odious crime of “ethnic cleansing,” a displacement to make a community ethnically homogeneous.
Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) have echoed the false ethnic-cleansing charge, as have certain other self-described congressional progressives. But under international humanitarian law, the removals are valid “evacuations,” not displacements, a difference with enormous legal and moral significance.
The international humanitarian law’s rule of evacuation requires—to the extent feasible for civilian safety—that an army evacuate civilians temporarily from the vicinity of a military operation before attacking area combatants. For example, an evacuation order may relocate civilians from a neighborhood targeted for a bombing raid on an enemy rocket-firing position. By contrast, the rule of displacement prohibits the permanent removal of civilians from an entire occupied territory or country unless required for the security of the civilians involved or for imperative military reasons.
Evacuation orders issued by the Israeli Defense Forces in Gaza have consistently followed the rule of evacuation. Virtually every order has repositioned civilians from a military sector to a safer area before an IDF military mission; no order has moved civilians permanently or pushed them outside of Gaza. Moreover, the IDF has enhanced civilian safety by preparing evacuation routes, establishing humanitarian zones for the evacuees, communicating escape routes through multiple modes of communication and providing reasonable prior notice of the plans. These actions have mitigated the unfortunate, but inevitable difficulties faced by families that must temporarily leave their homes.
The success of IDF evacuations is especially impressive considering the machinations of Hamas to frustrate these protective measures. Hamas embeds military personnel and ordinance in homes, schools, hospitals and mosques, and then blocks the residents of those neighborhoods from obeying evacuation orders. The militants attack IDF soldiers who prepare humanitarian zones for temporary habitation. And the terrorists steal truckloads of humanitarian aid meant for evacuees. Those cruel acts are egregious abuses of the human shield rule as outlined under international humanitarian law.
Evacuations of Gazans from combat areas happen even when the practice hampers the IDF’s military progress by sacrificing the element of surprise. Hamas terrorists who flee the site of an imminent IDF strike can and do blend into the evacuating population and launch attacks from the designated humanitarian zone. That terror tactic illegally creates a new batch of human shields and often compels additional evacuations. It has forced many of Gaza’s residents to uproot themselves multiple times.
Top military experts have lauded Israel for the professionalism of its evacuations. One such assessment was delivered by the renowned authority, John Spencer, chair of Urban Warfare Studies at Modern Warfare Institute at the U.S. Military Academy a West Point. Similar praise was extended by other military experts as well.
Different military commanders may disagree about the best way to evacuate civilians during the chaos and peril of war. An evacuation can be extremely arduous, especially when the action must be repeated due to enemy interference. But even a burdensome or repeated evacuation is evidence of proper compliance with international humanitarian law, not a sign of displacement or any other wrongdoing.

[CN] MLQC Season 2 Chapter 56 Translation [Lucien’s Part]-(1/2)
⚠️  SPOILER ALERT  ⚠️
This post contains a VERY HEAVY SPOILER for the chapter that has not been released in EN yet! Feel free to notify me if there are any mistakes in the translation~
Tumblr media
I see your darkness, your failures, your confusion.
Just as I catch sight of the building, my body freezes involuntarily.
The place where the mentor-pupil mission has led us is none other than the former site of the Twin Leaves Orphanage in reality.
Translation under the cut!
[S2 Chapter 56 - Unsolvable Crux]
Some context about this chapter batch! Long story short, MC's Miracle Finder program which is more of a long and traditional TV show is struggling to compete with the popularity of online short videos (cough, funnily, it is almost like Lovepro's current situation in the otome market-), but she still has some time to find ways to make it more popular again before the next meeting with the investor (pretty similar to the start of the main story huh-)
At the same time, Odyssey, a hyper-realistic VR game is currently on hype right now, the game was developed by a company called Infinite, and it can be played with a device called Golden Apple (GA for short). This game lowkey feels like hidden ads for LaDs ngl
✂———————–
—[Chapter 56-8]—
I'm sitting at my desk, playing with the leaves of the green plant on the table, unable to help but sigh again
MC: I can't just chase after streaming platforms and make short videos for the rest of my life, can I.....
...This will only make my company lose its style and be homogenized into one of them.
At present, it seems like there's a new information technology emerging every minute. If we don't seize the opportunity, we'll only be left with the crumbs of others' success. It's just like…
Lucien: “Now, here, you see, it takes all the running you can do to keep in the same place.”
The familiar words echo in my ears, and I can't help but feel a bit dazed. Suddenly, a strange sense of familiarity wells up from within me.
This feeling, where I'm at a loss at the company's situation, seems to have happened in the distant past as well.
The calm, windless afternoon and those ink-like eyes come to mind.
When I was filming the final episode of "Finding Miracles" I was also grappling with decisions about the future, feeling anxious and lost.
At that time, Lucien became my program consultant, and the struggling program suddenly came to life starting from that episode.
I can't help but smile as I find my phone and send a message to Lucien.
MC: Is Consultant Lucien busy? I'm coming over to see you now~
Tumblr media
The bright sunlight reflects off the entrance of the Ultima Bioscience Research Institute. As soon as I step out of the car, I see several visitors walking out of the building with gloomy expressions.
Visitor A: Is Professor Lucien such a high-and-mighty figure? Every time we come here, he's never around!
Visitor B: Maybe his research is going downhill at a critical moment? Even his assistant says they don't see him often.
Visitor A: Then he should come out, meet us, and discuss the results. Is it really good to shut himself away and do research like this?
MC: …?
Lucien not seeing visitors? I'm a bit puzzled.
A couple of days ago, when I met him in "Odyssey", he told me that the scanning function in "Odyssey" is very useful, as it helps him transfer data.
Could it be that he's doing closed-door research, so he's not seeing visitors?
I take out my phone in confusion and see that there's no reply to the message I sent him before leaving.
Pete: I'm really sorry, Professors. Next time, when you come again…
No one pays attention to Pete's voice. The visitors get straight into their cars and leave. He awkwardly scratches his head and walks away.
The situation in front of me deepens my confusion. I push open the door to the research room lightly.
MC: Lucien…?
There's no response inside. I stick my head in from behind the door, then pause for a moment in surprise.
Tumblr media
I had thought I would see Professor Lucien asleep among the mountains of research reports and experimental data...
...But I didn't expect to see him actually sitting on the visitor's sofa, wearing the third-generation GA device.
At Lucien's feet are some hastily packed fast food wrappers, along with two unpackaged GA helmets.
He leans against the sofa, half of his face obscured by the helmet, devoid of any expression. Only his fingers, which resting on the side, twitch occasionally.
In an instant, I understood why Pete's expression was so complicated.
Who would have thought that Professor Lucien, while shutting himself off from visitors, would be sitting in the research lab playing "Odyssey" so openly!
If I don't go ask Lucien about the situation soon, I feel like I'll become even more worried and confused.
I take a deep breath, take a helmet out of the packaging, sit on the empty experimental bed next to him, and decisively put it on.
✂———————–
The brilliant sunlight warmly bathes a lush green field, and the moist air rushing towards me feels refreshing.
The grass beside me is nourished by the river, lush and abundant. With the river breeze rippling against both banks, the grass sways, gently tickling my calves.
This is Lucien's home in "Odyssey". When it's not busy, I often spend leisurely days here with him.
Tumblr media
I look around and quickly spot Lucien sitting by the riverbank. I walk over to him joyfully.
MC: Lu-
Before I can even say his name, Lucien tilts his body slightly and gestures to me.
Tumblr media
Lucien: Shh-
With one hand, he stops me from trying to pat him, and with the other, he lifts the fishing rod. As he moves, the water ripples gently.
"Splash!" A fish with golden patterns bursts out of the water, its tail swishing lively, causing water droplets to splash around.
The water droplets slide down his face like morning dew, tracing a meandering path on his handsome features.
Lucien blinks and then looks at me, his lips curling into a smile.
Lucien: [chuckles] Caught it.
—[Chapter 56-10]—
I come out from behind Lucien and poke the lively fish.
MC: What a plump and beautiful fish, I don't think I've ever seen one like this when I go fishing myself!
Lucien chuckles lightly as he unties the fishhook, then puts the fish back into the water, watching as its tail swishes and it swims away into the river.
A notification suddenly pops up.
——————Congratulations to the player [X] for completing the fishing achievement — [Encounter with Golden Marigold Fish].
Next to the achievement page, there's a line of small text that reads, "Congratulations, you are the first player globally to achieve this accomplishment."
MC: Wow, did I just witness the birth of a golden legend?
I gaze at this unheard-of achievement in astonishment, while Lucien maintains an unsurprised expression.
Tumblr media
He smiles faintly, reaching out to wipe away a droplet of water that splashed onto my cheek just now.
Lucien: Shouldn't MC also be awarded an achievement — the first player globally to witness the birth of the Golden Marigold Fish achievement?
His banter makes me unable to help but smile. I glance around at the scenery, sighing as I look around.
MC: I never expected that the charm of "Odyssey" would be so great that even Professor Lucien has become an "Internet Addict."
I clear my throat and then nonchalantly add a "harmless" little question.
MC: Lately, it seems like I've been seeing you online often. Is the work at the Ultima Bioscience Research Institute relatively easy?
Upon hearing my little probing, Lucien smiles but doesn't rush to answer.
He stands up and tidies things up, gesturing for me to look towards a nearby location.
Lucien: [chuckles] Before answering that question, do you want to go check out the newly renovated home of an "Internet Addict" first?
MC: Um? Of course, that sounds great~
Tumblr media
I never imagined that Lucien had actually expanded a laboratory within his home without me knowing.
The layout, facilities, interior decor, and even the functioning equipment replicated a professional laboratory down to the last detail.
Data and reports are neatly arranged, and as I measure the thickness of one stack of data with my palm, it exceeds the breadth of two hands.
Judging by the thickness of these materials, Lucien seems to have been conducting research in the "Odyssey" laboratory for quite a long time.
Tumblr media
MC: While others come into the game to relax, Professor Lucien is actually working in the game. What an exceptional scientist...
Lucien smiles calmly and prepares a cup of hot tea for me.
Lucien: Try it. Does the taste and flavor differ from the real world?
I take the white tea and sip it lightly.
MC: [smiles softly] It seems there's hardly any difference, but I'm not really a tea connoisseur. I just drink it often because of you.
The tea leaves stretch in the boiling water, blurring our views of each other. I lean back on the comfortable sofa, seemingly understanding his implication.
MC: Professor Lucien, do you think since "Odyssey" is so similar to reality, why not explore an "experimental field" in the game too?
Lucien remains silent, seemingly acknowledging. He brews another cup of tea with the tea leaves and places it back in front of me.
Tumblr media
Lucien: The laboratory here is quiet enough for me to focus more on my research.
He winks, his gaze gentle and focused, conveying a sense of reassurance to me.
Lucien: And as you've seen, in addition to research, I also casually complete game tasks.
In just a few sentences, Lucien perfectly answers all my questions.
I prop my head up a bit dazedly, pondering. If it's about finding peace and quiet, the Ultima Bioscience Research Center isn't usually noisy.
...Could it be because of those people?
MC: Is it because of the increase in visitors at the Ultima Bioscience Research Center recently? Is it affecting you?
Lucien nods in response to my gaze, reaching out to tuck a strand of hair behind my ear.
Lucien: Recently, we've shifted the research focus to the deterioration disease. Some organizations are well-informed and have been eager to collaborate with me.
I nod in understanding.
In the realm of research, this isn't uncommon, but collaboration means sharing progress and results.
For Lucien, who prefers minimal interference in his research, this is indeed troublesome.
However, is the reason really that simple?
Lucien's demeanor and tone betray no hint of anything unusual, but I can't shake off a lingering sense of unease.
MC: By the way, Lucien.
I rise from the coffee table and move to sit beside him, one hand looping around his arm.
Tumblr media
MC: Actually, I'm not at the company right now. I'm at the Ultima Bioscience Research Center, currently in your research lab.
Lucien: It seems that I'm not the only one bringing work into the game.
Facing Lucien's slightly teasing gaze, I bury my head in his chest, breathing in the scent of tea lingering on him.
MC: [in a coquettish manner] …I didn't expect Professor Lucien to still see through me.
Lucien's smile doesn't diminish as he gently strokes the top of my head with his hand.
Lucien: I think it's work time now. A girl who wants to fish wouldn't play "Odyssey" with me so conspicuously.
MC: I do have some problems that need Professor Lucien's advice and assistance.
I peek out from his embrace, tilting my head back to look at him.
MC: How about we talk as we walk? I also want to explore other areas of Professor Lucien's home and see if there are any new changes~
—[Chapter 56-11]—
Tumblr media
Lucien pushes open the back door of the laboratory, revealing a glass corridor with a hollow top.
Sunlight filters through the glass, casting mottled light and shadow. His figure appears both real and illusory in the interplay of light and shadow.
I walk hand in hand with Lucien in the glass corridor, pouring out recent work matters in one breath.
MC: ...So, if we just chase after trends like other companies, we'll still end up being left behind in the industry.
MC: After all, I remember from a media class that "homogeneous works will ultimately be eliminated, and innovation is the key to industry development."
Tumblr media
Lucien: Your judgment is correct.
Lucien blinks at me in affirmation and then poses a rather “insightful” question.
Lucien: So, what are the plans now?
I pause for a moment, somewhat unconfidently, and share with him several new program proposals that I have been contemplating.
MC: ...I've reviewed these proposals repeatedly. Although the content of the programs is quite interesting, I can't shake the feeling that it's still not enough.
MC: Maybe I should plan a program with more thrilling and exciting scenes…?
Lucien brushes off a leaf that had landed on my head at some point. I take the leaf, twirling it idly in my palm.
Lucien: Before the inception of "Odyssey," none of us imagined that we would be twirling this fallen leaf in a virtual world.
Lucien's calm and composed voice comes through as he touches the fallen leaf along with my hand.
Lucien: Fallen leaves, the air, and us walking…
Lucien: Without mentioning it, many people might forget that all of this is made up of data.
Lucien: The success of "Odyssey" doesn't rely on content but rather on the innovation of its presentation.
Lucien: If you were to just change the content, with your abilities, you'd surely create a buzz, but for discerning viewers…
He smiles slightly, his eyes looking at me with insight.
Lucien: The level of excitement in content has no threshold; as long as there's a lack of "technological" innovation, being replicated and surpassed is just a matter of time.
Lucien: On this point, Miss Producer, you understand it better than I do.
Lucien's words bring to light a thought that I've been vaguely aware of but haven't fully grasped. I blink, feeling a little enlightened.
MC: So, now, rather than pondering new programs, the new program medium is the more important thing?
The pressure before me seems to have cracked open a bit with Lucien's words, but I still find myself anxiously rubbing my hair.
Short videos, with their quick and concise nature, have almost taken over as the predominant form of media presentation in today's world.
MC: What else can be innovated? The "opportunity" won't just fall from the sky.
Our hands interlock as Lucien gently takes mine, and with a breeze, the leaf I had almost forgotten about is swept away, disappearing from sight.
Lucien: Personally, I feel that perhaps we can try to find a blue ocean.*
MC: Blue ocean?
[Trivia: Blue Ocean strategy is a business strategy that involves creating new market spaces and making the competition irrelevant. A current relevant example is Papergames creating Love and Deepspace 😂]
Lucien looks at me with a thoughtful expression, his lips curling into a smile. With his slender fingertips, he smooths out the hair that I had ruffled.
Lucien: For example, in fields like holographic technology and artificial intelligence.
My heart skips a beat.
Indeed, while there have been numerous developments in related fields before, it wasn't until the explosion of "Odyssey" that these two concepts suddenly experienced explosive growth.
From the perspective of a film and television company, this is simply the perfect combination of new technological power and emerging phenomena.
The wind picks up, causing the leaves of the trees to rustle against each other, gracefully taking flight as if nature sings its gentle song.
As I behold the incredibly lifelike natural scene before me, it feels as though a long-standing boulder in my mind is finally starting to shift.
MC: Are you referring to "Odyssey" itself?!
Lucien: It's just one possible direction. "Odyssey" is the firstborn of this blue ocean, overturning and rebuilding many people's preconceptions.
The sunlight filters through the trees, casting scattered patches of light onto the path we're walking on. The slanting rays create specks of orange hues, gently enveloping us like orange veils.
Lucien: Now that we're in the midst of it, it's the best proof of all possibilities.
MC: Combining media with "Odyssey"...
I pause in my tracks, lost in thought. Lucien doesn't interrupt me, waiting quietly by my side.
I raise my head, looking at the sky in "Odyssey," which is indistinguishable from reality. In my mind, several new ideas start to take shape.
Unable to contain my enthusiasm, I leap up and hug him excitedly.
MC: Thank you, Professor Lucien, for answering my questions and clearing up my confusion!
Lucien: Just bringing a bit of research mindset into the discussion. I'd be honored if it was helpful to you.
Lucien lets me hold him and pats my back, his smile deepening.
Lucien: However, we haven't formally confirmed our teacher-student relationship yet, so you can't just casually call me "teacher".
Before I could react, an interface to formalize our mentor-pupil relationship suddenly appeared.
I blush slightly and without hesitation, press the "confirm" button.
At the same time as the system message "You have become a pupil of X" pops up, a mentor-pupil mission suddenly appears in my taskbar.
MC: Huh?
[Lucien and MC get transported]
Tumblr media
Xiao Shuai: My friend is the best Xiao Mei in the world. We are happy when we're playing outside, but she's not happy once she gets home.
Xiao Shuai: Can Gege (older brother) and Jiejie (older sister) make Xiao Mei happy?
Tumblr media
MC: I thought the mentor-pupil mission would be about technical teaching, but I didn't expect it to be helping children…
Lucien: Does MC prefer to learn technical skills?
MC: No, no, that's too tiring. Let's just help the kids together!
I smile and rub Xiao Shuai's chubby cheeks.
MC: Okay, let's leave it to Gege and Jiejie!
A prominent guiding route on the ground emits a white light. We follow the route and soon reach the end of the road.
Tumblr media
Alongside the old gate, the fence entwined with vines is covered with lush green leaves, occasionally dotted with a few wildflowers, giving it a lively appearance.
Several two-story buildings in the courtyard are arranged in picturesque disorder. Although the paint on the walls has faded, it still exudes a sense of warmth and tranquility.
Just as I catch sight of the building, my body freezes involuntarily.
The place where the mentor-pupil mission has led us is none other than the former site of the Twin Leaves Orphanage in reality.
[Trivia: Twin Leaves Orphanage is where MC, Lucien, Kiro, and other kids got experimented as a child]
—[Chapter 56-12]—
As I gaze upon the orphanage in "Odyssey," a chill runs down my spine, and I can't help but tighten the scarf around my neck.
However, unlike the desolate old site in my memory, the NPC children are now playing and frolicking in the courtyard, bathed in warm sunlight.
I tell myself not to overthink it and quickly find several children playing in the corridor to ask about Xiao Mei with Lucien.
Child A: Xiao Mei? I don't know her.
Child B: There doesn't seem to be anyone by that name in our orphanage.
We ask many children, but surprisingly, not a single one knows Xiao Mei. I scratch my head in puzzlement.
MC: Could it be that Xiao Shuai's mission information was incorrect?
Lucien ponders for a moment, then looks towards the teacher who is answering questions for the children at the classroom door not far away.
Tumblr media
Lucien: Let's go ask the teacher.
After the children leave, I approach the teacher politely and cautiously start the conversation.
MC: Hello, do you happen to know a student named Xiao Mei? I seem to have found something belonging to her.
Teacher: We don't have a student by that name here. You might have the wrong place.
I stand there puzzled, about to ask for Lucien's opinion, when I turn around and realize Lucien is nowhere to be found.
Before I can even speak to search for him, the door of the adjacent office opens, and Lucien steps out, holding a piece of paper in his hand.
Lucien: I found the student roster from this office.
MC: Pfft…! So Professor Lucien already guessed that the teacher wouldn't be able to provide any useful information, so he pulled a "diversionary tactic*"?
[T/N: "声东击西" is a Chinese idiom that literally translates to "sound from the east, strike from the west." It refers to a strategy where one creates a diversion or distraction to mislead the opponent while executing a different action elsewhere :> ]
Tumblr media
Lucien winks at me.
Lucien: Just a small tactic, hopefully it pays off.
As we scan through the long list for a while, we still haven't found Xiao Mei's name. Just as I'm about to give up and look for a guide, Lucien suddenly raises an eyebrow.
Lucien: There seems to be an issue with this list.
MC: What do you mean?
Lucien doesn't reply, but instead, he folds up the list and leads me towards the storage room at the end of the corridor.
Tumblr media
After opening the door, a stale smell fills the air in the storeroom, and tiny specks of dust float in the dim light.
Lucien closes the door behind me, and for a moment, the entire room seems to be engulfed in a heavy darkness.
Yet, in the pitch-black, a faint green glow suddenly appears before my eyes.
MC: …This list glows!!
The original text on the list is obscured by the heavy darkness, but the text printed with luminescent material is clearly visible.
MC: "Night Division Roster", Xiao Gu, Mai Mai, Xiao Mei... Found her!
Tumblr media
Lucien: It seems my guess was correct.
Lucien: Earlier, I noticed the words "Day Division" on the list under natural light, so I speculated that there might also be a "Night Division" present.
MC: So Xiao Mei appears in the park every evening before dusk and leaves after sunset, not to "go home," but to attend classes in the Night Division?
Lucien: Smart. This should be the reason why no one knew Xiao Mei when we came during the day.
MC: How strange... Why are the children mysteriously divided into day and night divisions?
Lucien walks slowly beside me, seemingly not intending to take further action.
Lucien: Perhaps we'll have answers when night falls.
A slightly cunning smile curves on Lucien's lips, and I instantly understand his intention.
MC: Right, if we wait until it's late and quiet, the children from the Night Division will naturally come for their classes!
The only task now is to wait, Lucien and I hang around, watching as the sunlight gradually shifts towards the west.
MC: I can't shake the feeling that this orphanage mission seems to have some sort of prototype reference... like the mirrored building* we encountered before.
[T/N: MC talks about S2 ch 33]
MC: There's a kind of... indescribable familiarity in my heart.
Lucien: Don't worry, this sense of familiarity might just help us complete the mission.
Lucien gently ruffles my hair and gazes towards the direction of the orphanage, deep in thought.
As night falls and moonlight shines upon the orphanage, Lucien and I hear footsteps echoing in the corridor.
A group of children silently make their way through the long corridor toward the direction of the classroom.
Their shadows elongate in the dim light, devoid of daytime liveliness, only the faint moonlight reflecting their youthful yet serious faces.
As if influenced by this atmosphere, I also lower my voice and whisper softly into Lucien's ear.
MC: Shall we go now?
Tumblr media
Just as Lucien and I start heading towards the classrooms, we're suddenly stopped by a security guard.
Security Guard: Sorry, the orphanage is not open to the public right now. Please leave.
MC: We're just…
Before I can finish my sentence, a "Mission Failed" screen suddenly pops up, and Lucien and I are immediately teleported outside the orphanage.
Tumblr media
MC: ….??
MC: How did the mission fail already? We haven't even done anything yet!
Lucien: I'm thinking that perhaps there are some "invisible rules" in place at this orphanage at night that we're not supposed to break. Once violated, the mission fails immediately.
Lucien: "Not getting caught by security" must be one of them.
MC: Isn't this too troublesome?
Lucien: With me around, do you still find it troublesome?
MC: Pfft, of course not.
I take Lucien's hand and wink at him.
MC: Then let's solve this small trouble together~
✂———————–
One minute later, Lucien and I find ourselves back in front of the orphanage.
MC: Uh, sorry... I saw a mirror and instinctively looked into it. I didn't realize it would also count as breaking the rules.
Tumblr media
Lucien: It's okay. Every failure is an exploration step toward success.
✂———————–
Lucien: I thought solving the puzzle on the blackboard would open a secret door or something like that, but it just attracted the attention of the teacher.
MC: At least the orphanage teacher acknowledged Professor Lucien's math skills…!
After seven or eight attempts at exploration, we finally lurk near the classroom. I open the window and quietly peek inside.
In the dim light, the children sit by the worn-out desks and chairs, attentively listening to the teacher's explanation. There's an eerie and quiet atmosphere in the air.
A sudden horror and chilling feeling rushes through my heart, and I instinctively look towards Lucien, who is holding my hand.
But when I turn around, the first thing I see is not Lucien, but a slightly pale-faced little girl.
She has appeared behind us, seemingly out of nowhere, and is looking up at us curiously.
—[Chapter 56-14]—
MC: Are you X-Xiao Mei...?!
I feel goosebumps all over my body, and my voice trembles as I speak. The little girl nods, and I exchange a glance with Lucien.
We take Xiao Mei out of the teaching building and arrive at the tree next to the garden.
Here, I finally breathe a sigh of relief, looking at the girl in front of me with braided pigtails.
Tumblr media
MC: Xiao Mei, your friend Xiao Shuai is very worried about you, so he asked Gege and Jiejie to come and check on you.
I try to talk to Xiao Mei, but she keeps her lips tightly pressed together and glances at me before curling up into a ball, not moving at all.
No matter how I try to talk to her afterward, she ignores me.
Xiao Mei looks much thinner and weaker than children her age. Unlike the lively and noisy children during the day, she appears to be particularly quiet.
Just as I am feeling troubled, Lucien gently calls my name and takes my hand, leading me aside.
Tumblr media
MC: What should I do, Lucien? She seems particularly resistant to communicating with me…
Lucien: [gently] I think maybe it's not resistance, but rather she also needs an opportunity to connect with you.
Lucien: When you talk to her, although her reactions are a bit cold, her body always unconsciously moves closer toward you.
Lucien: Rather than resistance, it might be more like "not good at" or "not daring" to communicate with you.
My heart tightens. Could it be that the reason why these children from the Night Division are so quiet... is because of similar reasons?
Children in orphanages are already more prone to feeling lonely than others. A girl who struggles to communicate is even more susceptible to being ignored to some extent.
I should use a more friendly approach and gradually make her feel understood.
Thinking this, I look more carefully at Xiao Mei, trying to find some breakthrough to make her relax
Xiao Mei has her eyes closed slightly, gently burying her head in the slightly worn scarf around her.
MC: Lucien, look at that scarf…?
Tumblr media
Lucien also looks over and after a while, he speaks softly.
Lucien: Some children develop a dependency on specific plush items during their growth process, finding a sense of security in them.
Lucien: I think, this scarf might be just that special existence for her.
I look at the curled-up Xiao Mei, feeling a mix of sadness and tenderness. Despite the scarf in her arms being very worn, she still holds onto it dearly, unwilling to let go.
Lucien notices my emotions and tightens his hold on my hands.
I give his hand a firm squeeze back, smile at him, then return to Xiao Mei's side and crouch down again.
MC: Xiao Mei, let me tell you a secret. When I was little, I also received a scarf from someone very important to me.
Xiao Mei doesn't say anything, but she turns her head slightly to look at me. I continue to speak, smiling as I recount distant memories in a soft voice.
MC: I really, really liked that scarf because every time I saw it, it made me feel like that person was still with me.
Tumblr media
MC: When I felt lonely or scared, I would hold onto it, and those feelings would slowly disappear, just like magic.
MC: Later on, I would often chat with the magic scarf, and it became my best friend whom I could talk to about anything…
I made up a fairy tale about me and the magic scarf, and Xiao Mei listened attentively, starting to sit up slowly.
When the fairy tale was over, Xiao Mei blinked her eyes and smiled at me for the first me.
I suddenly think of something and take off my scarf, wrapping it around Xiao Mei's neck.
MC: Your scarf must have a lot of power. Now, Jiejie is giving you her scarf too.
I boop Xiao Mei's nose, and she no longer resists my approach.
MC: From now on, Xiao Mei has two powers to protect her. So she doesn’t need to be afraid of anything.
Xiao Mei looks at me, blinks her eyes, and the next moment, she starts sobbing softly, as if she had been suppressing it for a long time. She doesn't cry loudly, just hugs me tightly.
Tumblr media
Lucien bends down a bit and gently strokes Xiao Mei's head.
Not long after, Xiao Mei takes out a sketchbook. As she writes and draws, she tells her story bit by bit. Finally, we can piece together the truth.
It seems that from a long time ago, the children in the orphanage have been divided into a day division and a night division based on their physical condition and performance in the orphanage.
From the beginning, the two divisions just have different schedules, but gradually it evolves into differences in meals, dormitories, and the attention they receive.
Nowadays, the children in the night division seem to have become an "invisible" group in this orphanage, as no one ever casts a glance their way anymore.
Although Xiao Mei doesn't understand the reason, she knows that she and her friends in the night division all dislike this kind of life.
She wants to escape, to be under the sunlight with the other children, but she's powerless to do so alone.
After settling Xiao Mei with Lucien, I stomp my foot indignantly.
MC: They're all children, why do these people treat them differently?!
Lucien takes the drawing Xiao Mei handed to us and ponders for a moment before speaking lightly.
Tumblr media
Lucien: I'm afraid it's not just emotional discrimination that's at play here.
Lucien: Emotional neglect alone wouldn't warrant them going to such lengths to establish this system, so I suspect there may be deeper interests at play.
MC: Are you suggesting that the children in the night division might be exploited by the orphanage?
Lucien nods, gently taking my slightly cold hand and rubbing it, a gentle yet firm smile on his lips.
Lucien: [smiles gently] Whatever it is, it will be resolved tonight.

Note
So how's it going on with the drugs I sent?
Have they homogenized as well?
Officially, the entire package was seized during the raid.
But in reality, the most of it went into rot refinement (Rot-finement, if you will) alongside several batches of “Arch-necromancer type shit” and “Fleet-footed Fent”.
The goal is to see if we can mix them together into a concoction strong enough to make the mobile rot cysts move slightly faster than the speed of smell.
Will keep you updated 👍

While it is certainly true that, historically, the roles of 'witch' and 'wizard' were gendered ones (to say nothing of warlocks!), this does not necessarily hold true in the modern era.
A comparative analysis of the composition of self-described witches and wizards demonstrates a clear breakdown in gender delineation. The rate of this breakdown, however, is not steady, and cannot be explained simply by an inter-miscibility of the two. Rather, the composition remains fairly static since the advent of the two roles, and experiences a rupture during the years 1848-1887, with a sudden and massive decrease in homogeneity. Following this has been a generally steady equalisation of gender makeup, without any shifts holding nearly significant. Notably, the second derivation of the general trend of both makeups shows a slowing, towards an asymptotic value of complete equalisation, 50-50.
While the recent data could be explained partially by the notion of evolving social attitudes and permissibility, said approach cannot explain the complete stagnation in the early period, nor the sudden leap during the 19th century, without resorting to crude misconstruals of historical society. Nor could such an explanation give a concrete answer to the source of said social attitudes and their evolution. Rather, the explanation supported by both material evidence, as well as accepted theoretical models, is an economic one. The breakdown in the domestic sphere of production, and its replacement during the 19th century with industrial division of labour, coincides with the breakdown of the social basis for gender delineation between witches and wizards. While this delineation survived the slow shift towards artisanal batch- and shop-production over the 18th century, it was debased entirely by the advent of innovations such as lithigraphic sigil printing during the 1810s and potion production plants during the 1840s. As occult manufacture became proletarianised and deskilled, the gendered division was dissolved in favour of greater economic efficiency.
Ultimately, the service-nature of on-demand potion production remains, from the nascent days of village witches, along with the corresponding attitude of personal enrichment for court wizards, and consequently reproduces 'gendered' attitudes and dynamics across different lines, while maintaining gender stratification within these new categorisations. While short-lived attempts towards reformulating traditional genders in the occult industry exist - 'sorcerers' and 'sorcoresses' - they have not persisted. Doctors and nurses, witches and wizards, managers and line-cooks - these are the genders of the modern age, while the genders of the past flounder and fade within professions.

Man, I tried being a disciple of Mosqitello, but I’m just not feeling it. I tried staying on the objectively correct side during the war on Arachnotello, but I just find spiders so much more interesting than mosquitoes. Spiders are so diverse as a species and mosquitoes are just kinda homogeneous. I know Arachnotello is like super dead but I think that these blasphemous preferences are preventing me from growing as a follower of The Great Mosqitello, and I’m afraid I’ll have to leave. I’ll bake a couple batches of these kick ass soft pretzels I learned how make as a farewell, and I hope Mosqitello takes over the world soon. See yeah 👋
i keep getting food today its wonderful!!
(im making cookies rn as a thankyou)
we'll be sad to see you go. but Mosquiello understands your reasoning. any follower that is not 100% dedicated to them is simply not worth it.
you will have to forfeit your eyes however, if you wish to leave the cult. you cannot be allowed to See any longer.

7 Insider Secrets: How Are Cement Bricks & Blocks Manufactured for Superior Construction?
How are cement bricks and blocks manufactured?
Cement bricks and blocks form the backbone of modern construction, and understanding their manufacturing process can provide invaluable insights for contractors, engineers, and investors alike. In today’s competitive market, knowing what goes behind creating these essential building components not only improves decision-making but also instills confidence in the durability and quality of construction materials. In this article, we uncover the secrets behind the manufacturing process, address frequently asked questions, and highlight key statistics that underline the importance of precision in production.
Introduction
The construction industry relies heavily on the consistent quality of building materials. Cement bricks and blocks, known for their strength and longevity, are manufactured through a systematic, multi-step process that transforms raw materials into essential components for modern infrastructure. This blog post will walk you through the manufacturing process, answer common queries, and reveal industry insights that every professional and enthusiast should know. Whether you’re a seasoned builder or new to the industry, these insider secrets will elevate your understanding and guide your next project.
The Manufacturing Process Uncovered
1. Raw Materials: The Foundation of Quality
The journey begins with sourcing high-quality raw materials. The primary ingredients include cement, aggregates (like sand and gravel), water, and sometimes additives to enhance performance. Each component plays a crucial role:
Cement: Provides binding strength.
Aggregates: Offer structural stability.
Water: Initiates the hydration process.
Additives: Enhance durability and workability.
Ensuring the correct proportions is essential. For example, maintaining a water-to-cement ratio between 0.4 and 0.6 is critical for achieving optimal strength and durability. Industry statistics indicate that up to 80% of the final product’s quality is determined during this initial stage.
2. Mixing: Precision in Every Batch
Once raw materials are selected, the next step is mixing. Modern facilities employ high-speed mixers that blend the materials to a uniform consistency. This stage is crucial because even a minor imbalance in the mix can result in compromised strength or an inconsistent texture.
Mixing involves:
Batching: Precise measurement of each component.
Blending: Combining materials uniformly to ensure consistent distribution.
Monitoring: Continuous quality checks to ensure the mix adheres to industry standards.
Transitioning to the next phase, advanced monitoring systems now utilize sensors and automation to fine-tune the process, reducing human error and enhancing quality control.
3. Molding and Shaping: Crafting the Perfect Form
After mixing, the homogeneous material is transferred to molds to create bricks or blocks. The manufacturing process here can vary:
Cement Bricks: Typically, the mixture is compressed in a mold using a hydraulic press. The pressure applied can reach up to 10,000 psi, ensuring that the bricks are dense and robust.
Cement Blocks: Larger in size, these blocks are often cast using automated machines. The molds are designed to produce uniform shapes, which is critical for ensuring ease of installation and structural consistency.
Storytelling element: Imagine the precision of an orchestra playing in perfect harmony; every press and cast is a note contributing to the grand symphony of construction excellence.
4. Curing: Transforming Fresh Casts into Durable Structures
Curing is perhaps the most critical phase in the manufacturing process. Once molded, the bricks or blocks must cure—essentially, they undergo a controlled hardening process. This is achieved through:
Moisture Retention: Maintaining adequate moisture levels to allow the chemical reactions in cement to complete.
Temperature Control: Ensuring that environmental conditions support optimal hydration.
Time: Curing can take anywhere from 7 to 28 days depending on the product specifications and environmental conditions.
Statistics show that proper curing can improve the strength of cement bricks and blocks by up to 50% compared to those that are not cured under controlled conditions.
5. Quality Assurance: The Final Seal of Approval
Before cement bricks and blocks reach the market, they undergo rigorous quality assurance tests. These tests include:
Compression Strength Tests: Verifying that each unit can withstand heavy loads.
Dimensional Checks: Ensuring uniformity in size and shape.
Surface Inspections: Checking for any defects that could impact the performance or aesthetics of the final product.
Quality assurance protocols are not just about meeting regulatory standards—they provide peace of mind to builders and investors, ensuring that every brick or block contributes to a safe and sustainable construction.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are cement bricks different from cement blocks?
Cement bricks are usually smaller and are often used for walls and smaller constructions, whereas cement blocks are larger, offering enhanced structural stability for load-bearing walls. Their manufacturing process is similar, but the molding and curing processes may differ slightly to accommodate size differences.
What are the key factors that affect the quality of cement bricks and blocks?
The quality of these products largely depends on the quality of raw materials, the precision of the mixing process, the effectiveness of the molding and pressing systems, and the rigor of the curing and quality assurance processes. Maintaining the optimal water-to-cement ratio and ensuring a controlled curing environment are paramount.
How long does it take to manufacture cement bricks and blocks?
The manufacturing process itself is relatively quick, with mixing and molding taking just a few hours. However, the curing phase can take anywhere from 7 to 28 days, which is essential to achieve the desired strength and durability.
Can the manufacturing process be automated?
Yes, automation plays a significant role in modern production facilities. Automated mixers, robotic molding systems, and digital monitoring for curing are now common, increasing both efficiency and product consistency.
What are the environmental impacts of manufacturing cement bricks and blocks?
While the production process does involve energy consumption and carbon emissions, many manufacturers are adopting eco-friendly practices. Innovations like using recycled materials, optimizing energy usage, and exploring alternative fuels are gradually reducing the environmental footprint.

G. Info about Pumpkin-The Superfood 🎃:
Pumpkin is undoubtedly considered the Queen of Autumn and we identify it with the fall months.
So don't just carve the pumpkin to make a Jack-o'-Lantern, eat it as well. It is a Great Superfood!!
A pumpkin is a cultivar of a squash plant, that is round, with smooth, slightly ribbed skin, and deep yellow to orange coloration. The thick shell contains the seeds and pulp. Pumpkin has an exceptional versatile character, hence it can be used for savory and sweet concoctions.
Tumblr media

🎃 The origin of pumpkin:
The origin of pumpkin is American and/or African. The oldest evidence of pumpkin fragments are found in Mexico, dated between 7,000 and 5,500 BC. Pumpkins and other squash species, alongside maize and beans, feature in the Three Sisters method of companion planting practiced by many North American indigenous societies.
In general, it likes temperate climates with few winds and can easily cope with drought conditions due to its high water content.
There are indications that it was also known in ancient Greece. Nowadays, they are not systematically cultivated, but you will be able to find pumpkins in various regions of mainland Greece. They are sown outdoors around April and the earliest ones are on the market as early as August.
Tumblr media
As Pumpkins are native mainly to North America, they are widely grown for commercial use and are used both in food and recreation. Pumpkin pie, for instance, is a traditional part of Thanksgiving meals in Canada and the United States, and pumpkins are frequently carved as jack-o'-lanterns for decoration around Halloween.
Tumblr media
There are even local competitions being held in the US for the most elaborate jack-o'-lantern or the largest pumpkin cultivated.
Tumblr media

🎃 Nutritional value:
Pumpkin is a highly nutrient-dense food. It is rich in vitamins, Beta carotene and minerals but low in calories. Pumpkin seeds, leaves, and juices all pack a powerful nutritional punch.
The fiber, potassium, and vitamin C content in pumpkin all support heart health. Studies suggest that consuming enough potassium may be almost as important as decreasing sodium intake for the treatment of hypertension, or high blood pressure.
Also did you know that Pumpkin puree can be used as a replacement for butter or oil in baking recipes? (with excerpts from Wikipedia and medicalnewstoday.com)

Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Tumblr media

might as well put the pics i have so far huh
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And the little notes I have so far. Not good at this lol
Highly sensitive to atmospheric conditions and are only truly suited for those of their home world. Most notably contributing to this are their espix— sensory organs that protrude from the head and usually reach just above the chest. Espix contain receptors for temperature, barometric pressure, ionization, etc. Additional receptors are present in their ears, lungs, and eyes.
Irises are large (with minimal sclera), but pupils are small even when fully dilated since the planet does not ever get fully dark. They do not see well in the dark.
Spots along center front and spine are discharge points for the electric organs beneath the skin, from which short electric bursts can be expelled, briefly stunning another organism. This function is mainly said to be used for self-defense, but smaller shocks have been known to be produced for play, and occasionally out of fear/stress.
Extremities coated in dark, short almost velvet-like hairs that retain heat/insulation.
Reproduce asexually through parthenogenesis, resulting in low genetic diversity. This contributes largely to their sensitivity to changing climates.
Hatcheries (fon) pay willing individuals to reproduce, and the eggs are incubated and hatched, and offspring are raised in batches at the hatchery.
Hatcheries have become somewhat varied and competitive, with much experimentation with incubation conditions and their effects on the offspring leading to “specialization” and such to produce traits even within the relatively homogenous population.
Some hatcheries have high pressure to conform with what offspring are ‘bred’ for, by way of financial support and sometimes even detention (seen as contract violation) and threatening the egg's layer.
Genderless society and language (when using gendered languages, an individual will decide which descriptors, if any, to use to best fit how they feel).
Color variations run the gamut from brown-peach-tan hues to blues, purples, reds, greens, etc. This is the most noticeable example of diversity in the species.
Naming: [region] [hatchery name]’fon [given name] – example: Susuro, raised in the Karo Hatchery (Karo’fon) in the Ensehr region bears the full name Ensehr Karo’fon Susuro.

Rose and Pista Barfi
Tumblr media
Hello, tombler!
It got a little bit boring just cooking main dishes, so today I'm jumping to the dessert train. Barfi or burfi is a milk-based sweets with a fudge-like consistency. The name comes from the Persian and Urdu word 'barf' meaning 'snow'. The dessert originated in Persia and was introduced to India in the 16th century, and is now consumed throughout India and Pakistan; often served at religious festivals such as Diwali and Holi.
Two variants of barfi we are making today are pista barfi (pistachio as main ingredient) and rose barfi (rose water as main ingredient). I'd like to imagine Vienna making one big batch of khoa and sugar mixture, and dividing half to be mixed with pistachio and half other with rose water. The recipes are made by @robinksimblr in two different Diwali sweets pack: pista barfi can be downloaded from here, and rose barfi can be downloaded from here. Then, shall we start?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Place sugar, milk, and butter (or ghee) in a low heat pan, then boil for about one minute. Add milk powder, and keep stirring until there are no lumps.
Tumblr media
After the batter look homogenous and feel quite think, Vienna divided the batter into two. For one part, she added pistachio cream and ground pistachio. For the other part, she added cardamom and rose water. Transfer the barfi mixture to a Pyrex glassware or a square tray, and refrigerate for a bit before cutting the barfi into squares.
Tumblr media
Today's taste-testers are the cousins Frejr and Soleil! Soleil is Vienna's twin sister's son (the one who lives in a ranch!) and often comes to Vienna's home to hang out with Frejr. Soleil wouldn't admit it, but I believe it's because his big sister is a teenager now and he just couldn't understand her no more.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The pista barfi has double creaminess from the powdered milk and the pistachio cream. It's a delightful piece of fudge with rich nutty flavor and fudgy texture.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Meanwhile, the rose barfi has a distinct floral aroma. The dried rose petals add a layer of texture of slight sweet and savory to the barfi. It's a soft, mouthwatering, and decadent sweets.
I learnt that Diwali is a festival of light, so I put a tiny candle on the counter top too. See you on the next post, dag dag!

P.S. History and cooking instruction of barfi are taken from this article, this article, and this Wiki page.

Thoughts on engaging with competitive Splatoon as a viewer.
While relatively large in Japan, Splatoon has had a much smaller, but dedicated scene outside of that region, yet I feel like as a casual player I rarely ever feel the urge to view streams of the highest level players for Splatoon 3 that I do for for other games.
I think there are several issues here causing this:
The first I think is that there's a bit less novelty as an observer in watching Splatoon than for example a fighting game. In a fighting games each character has their own design, visual effects and animations that are all clear to the viewer. In Splatoon the speed of the game and the noise from this particular batch of specials can lead to visual overload for people less familiar with what's happening on stream. Also the strength of shooting weapons compared to weapons with more distinct animations or designs (except for Splatana Stamper) like rollers or stringers could be causing a perception of homogeneity based on visual impact due to their constant presence at the top level.
Another issue I think is the lack of well known narratives that a broader audience can latch onto the same way people get attached to various sports teams. There were a few for the World Championships, like "can anyone beat Japan", or the Korean team picking weapons they were comfortable with over what was regarded as the best choices, or even "can Australia win a match?" which I thought were great at the time. Yet, unlike following a player like Arslan Ash's trajectory after a breakout event in Tekken 7, these all ended after the event. In the 9 years Splatoon has been around I think I ended up learning more about Street Fighter or Super Smash bBos.' competitive sides and the people involved with them despite being far less invested.
There also seems to be a lack of historical connection, by which I mean a lack of interest in things like viewing previous notable matches, or amazing player performances and analyzing how those things came to be. Think Evo Moment 37 which looks amazing visually, at the time was regarded as a display of technical mastery, and has a narrative surrounding it. I can't really say that much for Splatoon. I remember 2 specific matches which were:
1. During one of the World Championships in Splatoon 2 the GGBoyz picked double Squelcher, Octobrush and L-3 against FTWin in Rainmaker.
2. During an Area Cup (a long running Japanese Splat Zones tournament) that took place within Splatoon 2's lifespan, a team with 2 Inkbrush Nouveaus managed to push far in the bracket, eventually losing to a much more standard composition.
Larger casual events could help get people invested, for example last year Korone hosted a Vtuber tournament for 3, and I think there's been at least another one this year which had pretty healthy viewership. There's another format that seems to be a go to for drumming up interest in fighting games, where various pros coach less experienced players in events like "Sajam Slam."
Relative to the games I mentioned, Splatoon is a young game, perhaps things will develop over time as the community builds itself up, but I think the apparent absence of these elements at this moment could be a detriment to maintaining interest in the primary way to play this wonderful series.
Thanks for reading :^)
(Apologies if I've just completely missed something!)

Note
may i have the recipe for that scrumptious delight ?
for sure, it's just a gooey butter cake. it was my first time making it but i was really happy with the results! recipe under the cut:
for the crust:
2 cups AP flour
1 ½ cups granulated sugar
2 tsp baking baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 egg
½ cup melted butter
2 tbsp half and half (or milk or whatever)
1 tsp vanilla extract
for the filling:
8oz cream cheese
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup melted butter
16oz powdered sugar
assembly:
preheat the oven to 350F and grease a 9x13in baking dish. sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a bowl and mix to combine. add the egg, butter (make sure it's not so hot as to cook the egg), milk, and vanilla. mix until homogeneous and then press into an even layer on the bottom of the baking dish.
in a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese until loosened and then add the butter, eggs, and vanilla. i had to use an immersion blender at this point to mix it without the cream cheese clumping up. sift in the powdered sugar in batches while stirring and then pour the mixture into the pan, spreading into into an even layer. bake it all for 35-40 minutes, or until mostly firm and well-browned. let cool for about 20 minutes or until only warm to the touch and then dust with powdered sugar.
sidenote: it was very good, but i put some cardamom, ginger, and cinnamon in the powdered sugar used as a topping, and i think the filling would really benefit from similar seasoning. haven't tried that yet though, so take it with a grain of salt.
