Aemond Targaryen, Rhagerys Targaryen (OC), and Daemon Targaryen.

Honestly the absolute power they would have.

For the longest time Aemond and Rhagerys were just going through the motions of everyday life. Then when they reunite, for the first time, they both feel seen. Not for how they look or what they are capable of but for who they are. It took six years but they both finally were able to know that there is a purpose to who they had become.

Once together, Aemond and Rhagerys understood that they are so much more than what they have whispered to comfort themselves when they are alone in the dark of night.

“I worshipped the myth I made of you”

For Rhagerys, it’s an obvious thought. Since he was a small child his father was all but a god to him. His uncrowned king. So, in his mind, Rhagerys created a legend. As Rhagerys got older he realized a myth does not make a father.

For Daemon, once he had a son he saw the one person that he could truly have on his side. Someone that would not go against him. So, in his mind, Daemon created what his son could be, should be and then molded Rhagerys around it. As Rhagerys aged, Daemon realized a myth is easy to create but impossible to control.

I was going for how Rhagerys's interactions with Aemond and Daemon have very different vibes to them. By the body language alone.

These three absolutely gorgeous art pieces were done by the lovely @debustee. They took my thoughts and poses to create such wondrous images. It was an absolute joy working with them.

The flickering light of the candles danced across the bronze crossguard and the black, rune-etched, blade of Valyrian steel.  The flat of the blade came to rest on his right shoulder. “Yorick of House Royce, in the name of the Warrior, I charge you to be brave,” the blade was moved to his other shoulder as Ser Gerold continued, the ancestral sword alternating location with each charge of the oath, five more times until he was done. Yorick inhaled, slow and deep, before his response. “I swear to honor and uphold these vows.” “Then rise, Ser Yorick, knight of the Seven Kingdoms.”

Commissioned the talented @novembermorgon to draw my favorite scene from my HOTD fic: Sins Of The Father. They were so good to work with & immediately captured the vibe of the scene. Cannot even begin to articulate how happy I am with this 🩷 (also, there's a closeup version under the cut)

Reyna & Aegon + Tragedy

"Bards would sing songs of King Aegon II and his Dornish paramour. Just as poems would be written and plays composed across the narrow sea. The artists would have you believe it was a love for the ages, two people divided by class and kingdom overcoming all odds to be with one another regardless of status or thought for others.

Some believe the affair to be purely manipulation on the Evenstar’s part. A witch beguiling the King with spells and potions. A ploy to sit herself on the Iron Throne. Queen Helaena’s letters to her younger brother, however, tell a different story.

She writes of the King’s nigh obsession with the Dornish girl and her rebuffs to his advances. It was only when he took her riding on Sunfyre their love story truly began to unfold. Queen Helaena would claim her handmaiden was just as smitten with the King as he was with her.

It was said when Aegon II was poisoned, so was the last of Queen Reyna’s good will. And she let out a scream that shook the very foundations of the Red Keep. Some claimed it could have cracked the moon.

But the truth has been lost to the history books. All that remains is the dagger the two used to bind their blood on their wedding day. Dragonbone and Valyrian Steel, it was last seen on Prince Rhaegar's body at the Battle of the Trident. Robert Baratheon later took it in the spoils of war."

POV: you’re the Queen of Westeros, you are nearing your labors of what will be your last pregnancy, and you come to the realization that you cannot trust your dumbass husband, the King, to put your only surviving child’s well-being first because she is a girl. Your solution? Hire a lawyer and get your rebellious sister-in-law to take custody of your daughter in the very likely event of your death.

Oh and there are dragons too, I guess.

Alyx and Albyn Vesgar, the Chimera Twins In their youth, Alyx and Albyn were the jewels of Crackclaw Point, sharp of face and mind, the golden-haired companions of the royalty of King's Landing. Inseparable, as twins often are, they spent the most of their days alongside Prince Viserys and Daemon; Albyn oft dominated the training yard as Alyx watched on, a sly smile affixed to her lips. Suitors sought Alyx and Albyn alike, and for a time Alyx was betrothed to young Daemon, but neither ever married, far preferring the company of each other rather than those they deemed 'outsiders.'
