H.O.W. - Humans of Wiskayok
"Yeah I left home when I was sixteen years old. My dad came down on me really hard about my grades and my boyfriend -and I didn't even have a boyfriend- so I ran. Packed a bag and everything. Then I got to the bus station and only had like a dollar to my name and realized I wasn't going anywhere.
Went back home to serve the rest of my sentence. He died a few weeks later. Miserable cunt. Was stuck with my mom but by then she wasn't much better. The only bright spot I had was my soccer team. We were good, man. We were gonna go places. I really believed that. Night before nationals I was at this party. I remember thinking to myself 'boy this is it now'. I can still feel the electric energy before a match. How your body feels when every single part of it is humming with excitement.
Took some shrooms though and never made it to the game. I mean, a bunch of other stuff happened as well, but I don't wanna talk about it. Nowadays I'm still trying to figure out myself. I made a few mistakes, broke some people I didn't mean to break. But hey... maybe I'll find a way to pay them back someday."

The last practice before nationals

poly!yellowjackets x fem!reader minors DNI, all characters are 18 y.o
TW: smut, gangbang extra tags: porn with plot, praising, bodyworship, sharing is caring, fingering (r! receiving), oral (r! receiving), oral (r! giving), little bit of spanking word count: 5.1k not proofread english is not writer's first language! you've always been so nice and sweet to Yellowjackets, the one and only soccer team in your school, Wiskayok High. But you also were naive and innocent enough to constantly overlook the fact that every single girl on the team wanted your attention. And when, the last day before their nationals, they finally decided to make things clear between you and them.
When Coach Martinez first introduced you to the girls, they weren't too impressed. Average hair, average eyes, average height. Nothing special or anything to look at more than usual. You weren't even, roughly speaking, a full-fledged part of the team. At least that's what Taissa said. She was always like that - confident and sure of her opinions, even if they were somewhat offensive.
But you didn't mind, and even agreed. You were just an equipment manager, and you only became one because your mother and father were very close with Coach Martinez and asked him to find you a place out of old friendship. Of course, the coach made up a different story for everyone about how you came to be on the team - but every time you remembered the truth of your presence here, you wondered if you had the right to wear your signature yellow and blue bomber jacket. You felt ashamed, even though you didn't act like someone who got in because they got a pass. You were responsible, punctual, but you didn’t forget about empathy and responsiveness when communicating with girls. Over time, you began to be noticed by more than just Misty Quigley, who shared the same position with you.
Misty Quigley herself wasn’t too bad. Well, she was… weird. But you decided that everyone had their own cockroaches in their heads and she was just trying to make friends this way.
"You know, if we ever run out of food, I’ve always wondered what human flesh tastes like. I mean, they say it’s like pork, right? Maybe we should start taking notes just in case." Misty once said while you were cleaning up the cones after practice. You looked at her with wide eyes, full of confusion.
"Excuse me? Misty, this is a little weird…" You awkwardly continued to do your job, while Misty burned a hole in you with her gaze. Misty tilts her head slightly, her expression shifting from playful to earnest.
"Oh, come on! I was just joking… mostly. But think about it—survival is all about adapting, right? It’s just a thought experiment! Besides, we’ve got to keep our spirits up somehow. Want to talk about your favorite horror movie instead? I promise I won’t suggest cannibalism this time!”
But Misty didn’t always say such creepy things. She could talk about history, especially about Roman emperors, about her experience in first aid and medicine in general, about her interests, of which there were quite a few, but no one except you, apparently, wanted to listen to her. You didn’t understand the reasons and were patient with her. Misty immediately began to appreciate this - she did not throw away potential loved ones. Then Natalie Scatorccio appeared. Natalie did not have much experience with love, including the manifestation of care towards her. You didn't know anything about her, except that she lived in a van and was an extremely good and promising soccer player. But the more Misty shared the good news about your "endless love and care", trying to brag that she had such a tasty morsel and not the rest of the team, Nat couldn't help but become interested in you. People who lack love often don't quite realize how much they subconsciously want to find it.
She caught you after practice once and started talking to you. Nat herself didn't understand why she wanted to come back to you more and more every day - was it your manner of speech or how brightly you smiled at her after silly stories? She wanted to blush under your gentle gaze, and her heart beat strangely when you waved at her after she made a good pass to the other team members. But of course it wasn't always like that. The more attached she became to you, the more she focused on looking into your unexpectedly deep eyes, rather than at the ball.
"Natalie, don't you want to start playing properly? What are you constantly distracted by?" Lottie narrows her eyes when Natalie refuses to pass the ball to her and tries to dribble the ball to the goal herself, but hits the wall.
"Forget it, Lots. I'm just having a bad day." Natalie waved it off. It was odd that for someone having a bad day, she was smiling so stubbornly and persistently in the wrong direction. Lottie couldn't help but realize that she was looking at you. Perhaps you needed to have a heart-to-heart talk.
So, Charlotte Matthews quickly became next.
After practice, she caught you doing your job as you were supposed to, and called you out on it. She was annoyed, but more curious about your relationship with Natalie. You were blushing and apologetic, and it was hard to deny that you weren't to blame for Nat's deteriorating performance.
And then Lottie discovered that your shy face was extremely hard to get out of her head. Inadvertently, you began to talk after and before practice, Lottie sharing some details about upcoming parties at her house and inviting you. You, of course, refused. Your parents expected you to be decent, and Lottie didn't like rejection and didn't know what rejection was, being a rich girl. So she made it her goal to get you at least once. Or twice. So trying to get under your skin, subtly courting you, and trying to get through to your difficult parents was already routine. Including giving expensive gifts.
"Tai, have you seen the new hair clip in Y/N's hair? Those things cost a lot of money, I tell you, I saw it in the window of that expensive jewelry store." Vanessa was amazed at the new accessory you now had.
"I didn't really pay attention to it, to be honest. What do you… mean? Do you want one like that? I didn't think it was your style." Taissa chuckled, and Van rolled her eyes.
"Haha, very funny, but that's not what I mean… Hey, Lottie! Does Y/N have a rich mommy and daddy like yours?"
Lottie, passing by, chuckled, clearly filled with pride. "Not really. That was my gift. Y/N is very nice, you know. You shouldn't have doubted her, Taissa."
Then Taissa Turner and Vanessa Palmer appeared. They were already in a relationship and were amazed to see how quickly you changed the team's attitude for the better. And yet, from the very beginning, you were a black sheep for Taissa. Van, however, did not treat you with great disdain. She preferred to give people a chance to prove themselves first, and only then draw her own conclusions. However, they quickly liked you. Taissa was surprised that you had previously attended law and jurisprudence classes, and these topics interested her greatly. Van was pleasantly pleased with your taste in films and comics. You complemented their couple with something that they could not complement each other with on their own, after all, no relationship can simply be perfect. It was a matter of time before they both wanted your attention more than was possible. Van often invited you to her home to read or watch something, and Taissa loved to discuss social issues with you. You turned out to be more than either of them could have thought.
"Tai, I'm sorry, but I've already taken up Y/N's time for the evening with myself." Van smiled tenderly at Taissa.
Taissa raised an eyebrow in surprise, seemingly hoping for something. "Damn. How did you manage to come to an agreement with her faster than me? Maybe you'll take me with you?" she said with awkward hope. "Of course, I don't understand a damn thing about your conversations, but still…"
"No way, babe. You'll steal her attention again." Van shook her head.
"Why do I keep hearing everyone talking about Y/N from every corner of the room?" Jackie folded her arms in displeasure as she found herself next to the couple. "I understand that she's new and all that… but what's so unique about her? I swear, we won't get to nationals like this."
Jackie Taylor was annoyed by your popularity within the Yellowjackets. She could see the effect you had on the girls - they were going crazy trying to get a piece of you. She wasn't interested in you at all, but she had a feeling that if she didn't get a little bit closer, they would dethrone her and make you the team captain and even make you their mascot. She had to do something, and fast.
One day, Jackie stayed with you after practice, kindly offering to help you clean up the equipment. When you both walked into the warehouse, she almost pinned you against the wall, demanding answers to her questions.
"Y/N, I can see something's going on. I understand that you want to be friends with everyone, sure, but… we're trying really hard to get to nationals. And you're being way too… outgoing, you know? You need to stop. For the good of our team, as captain, I'm asking you to…"
"Your hair looks great today. Even after playing so hard." You blurted out, unable to contain your genuine respect. "Oh. Sorry. Keep going."
Jackie froze, her combative attitude seeming to completely falter. "You… you think so? Finally, someone sees how much I work on this hair, trying to get it just right every morning! I use powder and hairspray literally all the time, and no one has even bothered to compliment me… until you, of course."
Jackie took pity on you after that. Not when you were willing to spend hours shopping for clothes with her, stealing your clothes and trying on what she told you to try on, making you her model. No one had ever shown such steely restraint with Jackie Taylor, and every time she put on your makeup, it was so hard for her to resist the pounding of her heart and the strange desire to cover your lips with hers. But there was a catch to being with Jackie. The amount of time you spent together didn't sit well with Shauna Shipman. She was the only one who showed no interest in you at all. She didn't care about you, and that was surprising. She never, not once, approached you. You doubted she even knew your name, although considering Jackie told her everything, your name was the only thing she knew about you.
And the fact that you were a real suck-up. That's what she called you when she decided to have it out with you.
"What do you have with Jackie? Do you think I can't see how you're trying to pull the wool over her and everyone else's eyes?" Shauna narrows her eyes, looming over you. "What is it about you? Are you such a good suck-up?"
You felt hurt, but even more so, you felt a seething injustice. "I don't know what you're talking about, Shauna, I was just trying to be friends with everyone. It's not my fault they saw something in me."
Shauna snorted, unsure of what to do with you. "Well. Fine. Just stay away from Jackie, okay? And you'll be fine." Shauna had already turned away from you, about to leave. She adjusted her backpack, but a book fell out. You quickly picked it up.
"You dropped…" You looked at the cover, sighing in surprise. "Pride and Prejudice? That's my favorite book!" You exclaimed, surprising Shauna. She rolled her eyes, simply taking it from you, pretending not to care, but in reality, she was even a little impressed. You were left standing in the hallway, not quite sure what you did wrong.
And then you were surprised when Shauna came to you wanting to discuss the book, as if nothing had happened. Perhaps she was so eager to discuss her interests with someone that she decided to choose the worst option of all - you (Jackie, as expected, did not like reading books at all). You liked to read in your spare time, and Shauna was pleased that you had read a lot of female writers from the 18th and 19th centuries. She sometimes shared her thoughts on them with you, but the main thing was that at one point she made you a playlist of songs named after you. You were flattered and too busy enjoying the gift to notice how much Shauna blushed as she tried to hold your hand.
You didn't even know it would be like this. It seemed like almost all the girls on the team were literally tearing you apart. You'd never received so many gifts, compliments, and, it seemed, hints? Of course, you were pleased. You were a girl, after all. And you suddenly had little free time. Sometimes you spent time with two or even three girls at once a day. Of course, sometimes this led to conflicts between them, but they never dragged you into it. You were untouchable.
But you didn't expect that they would all decide to fix it in one day.
Despite everything, training for Nationals continued. Luckily, the Yellow Jackets team still managed to get their game together and win the filtration game that determined their participation in the competition. Everyone, of course, was incredibly happy. As were you for your favorite team.
There was just one thing. Your parents forbade you to fly with them. You begged as much as you could, but they were adamant. They wanted you to stay home and use your free time from your team to good use, studying and preparing for college. You shed so many tears in front of them, almost begging, but nothing worked. Sometimes you wanted to curse your parents.
Tomorrow, everyone was supposed to fly to Nationals. You entered the locker room, terribly dejected. You were immediately noticed, and the girls were insanely worried. Lately, all of them had been very attentive to you.
"You don't look well, Y/N," Natalie said, her smile from earlier quickly fading.
"Are you okay? Do you have a headache? Maybe a stomach ache?" Misty jumped up to you as if your life depended on it.
"Get away from her, Misty. Y/N might need some space." Vanessa shook her head, and was just as concerned about you.
"I-it's okay…" you sniffed. "It's just… I couldn't convince them. I did everything I could, I begged as hard as I could, and they still refused me. You… you'll have to celebrate your victory at the nationals without me." your eyes sadly looked around at everyone. The shared sadness touched every girl present.
"Y/N… I'm so sorry." Lottie took your hands in hers, looking at you sadly, but Jackie quickly jumped up to her.
"How so? Do they not care at all that you want to fly with us?" she snorts, angry at your family. Being spoiled by her own parents, she did not understand this attitude, especially towards you.
"At least you will be here when we return." Taissa tried to find the positives, although she was disappointed too.
"It does not make much sense, she will not be able to share the joy of us taking the first place in the moment." Shauna said, shaking her head. There was silence between all of you. You were so upset that you didn't even notice how all the girls were looking at each other meaningfully and nodding silently. Suddenly Lottie ran a gentle hand down your cheek, took your chin.
"Don't be so upset, Y/N," Lottie said softly, looking soothingly into your eyes. "You know… in all this time that you've been part of our team, we've grown attached to you. You've always been so kind to us. I think we can come to an agreement and find a way to thank you properly."
You were very embarrassed, and suddenly you felt a little awkward. "I was just being myself, you don't have to do anything for me." You, of course, felt pleased. But you were surprised when you felt hands behind you, and out of the corner of your eye you could see blonde strands of hair, and then you heard the familiar voice of Nat, who decided to come up to you from behind.
"Don't be such a shy princess. Why don't you let us comfort you?" she almost purrs in your ear, sending shivers down your spine. It felt… oddly pleasant, like a wave of excitement had washed over you.
"I, um… I don't know… how are you going to do that?" you ask. You can already see and feel Misty wrap her arms around your right hand, stroking it, looking at you in awe.
"You see, Y/N, you have some kind of influence over all of us." Lottie continues. Jackie glares at Matthews, apparently annoyed that Lottie is in charge. While she's busy burning a jealous hole in someone else's body, Shauna approaches you, her hands stroking your neck, and you shiver, vaguely aware of where this is all heading.
"We feel an irresistible… attraction to you. It's hard for us to share you between us. Haven't you noticed how hard we try to please you?" Lottie asks, genuinely concerned. "And you still wouldn't give in to any of us. We tried to figure out what you wanted, but we failed every time. So we thought you'd have to try each one before you figured out which one of us you wanted to be with."
Your brain was already running out, and now that Van's hand was stubbornly touching your thigh, and Taissa was holding your waist, whispering something in your ear, you completely stopped thinking. You were surrounded by a crowd of girls with whom you spent all your free time so happily, and they were trying to get you all the time. Was it all of them? Each of them wanted you to be their girlfriend? These thoughts left you shocked and you didn't even know how close or far from the truth it was. You, of course, dreamed about them. About each of them at least once, though about some more than others. But for you it was not serious, you did nothing! Did they really want it that much?
You yourself do not notice how you let out a quiet sigh when Shauna kisses your neck. She does it roughly, as if she is having difficulty containing the desire that is accumulating in her. Shauna is silent, examining, analyzing and suppressing in herself, and then explodes like a time bomb. And now she wants to explode at any moment.
Misty's hand undoes the button of your pants in irritation, and Van and Taissa pull them down. You are brought back to reality, and you feel panicked. You were definitely not prepared for being undressed.
"W-wait, there's no need to go anywhere-" you break off with a groan. Nat, still standing and supporting you from behind, bites your ear, licks it, makes your sensitive earlobe wet. You sigh at the newness of this strange, disorienting sensation.
"Don't worry, sweet thing. Everything is going to be just fine." Natalie purrs, and you can't tell if she's stoned or not. Your pants are thrown to the floor. And then your panties. You are naked for all the girls, and they are looking at you so mesmerized, like this is the best thing they've ever seen in their lives. Even Jackie and Lottie, standing behind you, are watching you in awe.
This time, Van is first. Her tongue touches your already wet cunt, and she circles it, tasting you. You moan, and Natalie tugs your hair a little, exposing more of your neck. Taissa gives you a couple of loud slaps on your ass, interested in seeing your reaction. You shudder and your hips jerk, because you like it. Misty's hand goes under your shirt and gropes your breasts, pulling your nipples almost painfully, while Shauna leaves wet marks on your collarbone from her mouth, wanting to leave marks on you that will definitely last until their collective return from Nationals.
You are so turned on, and you feel stimulation from all sides. Your hand wants to reach for Van's red head, to press it harder, but Nat, watching you like a hawk, pulls you back.
"Let her do it herself." She whispers in your ear. You nod frantically, it's best not to argue with them. A few more movements of Van on your clit, her skillful tongue, which had probably done the same with Taisa before, could easily bring you to orgasm. You moaned more actively, your chest moved a hundred times more intensely, and then she pulled away.
"She's ready, Lottie." Van said, wiping her mouth. It was hard for you to understand what was happening, and you just whined, saddened that you were not allowed to come. For a moment, everyone broke away from you. Everyone was listening to Lottie.
"We'll help you after you help us, Y/N," Lottie says with a smile that sounds like she's some kind of prophet. "We've been waiting so long to get your attention. We think we deserve to come first. But I promise you won't regret it."
You nodded at her, mesmerized, but you felt like this wasn't quite the Lottie you knew. She was so mysterious, and you couldn't tell what was on her mind.
"Get away from her, all of you." Lottie commanded. "And you, Y/N, sit on your knees, please. Put something down so it won't hurt her to sit on the floor."
Van and Nat dutifully laid out their own jackets so your knees wouldn't hurt from what you were about to do. It was a pleasant moment of care. You obediently settled down on your knees in front of Lottie. You were literally being eaten with their eyes, and you were ready for what was to happen.
Lottie was already reaching for her shorts, but Jackie spoke up. "Sorry, Lottie… but I'll be the first." She said, raising her chin high. Jackie's voice was filled with nervous confidence, and she tried to withstand Lottie's and the other girls' piercing gaze. "I'm the captain of our team, and I want to be the first one to do this. What made you think you could lead?"
Lottie was silent, and you couldn't even understand what she was thinking right now. Then she nodded, and her voice was cold. "Okay. Be the first. But don't ruin it too soon."
You didn't understand the meaning of the words, but Jackie frantically replaced Lottie, pulled down her shorts, and the taste of her cunt quickly imprinted on your tongue. You didn't know what Jackie really wanted to achieve by this - to let you fuck her first or she just felt depressed because of how Lottie quickly took control and everyone, even Shauna, was ready to obey her. In any case, you didn't mind. You devotedly licked her pussy and tried to watch Jackie's reaction, just to please her. In your fantasies, you tried many times to make Jackie as good as you could. In your mind, Jackie was not the type to give - she liked to receive more, and if she had to be on top in your fantasies, she was so gentle and timid, afraid to make an extra move, that it only excited you more. But here she was — trying to have your whole mouth, like she had been fantasizing about it for so long that you were almost dizzy with the realization. Your drool and her juices were running down her thighs while she moaned, and the others were watching, some daring to stick their hands down their own shorts. A couple of minutes passed and Jackie came convulsively, sitting down on the bench. Now she wouldn’t object. She had no strength.
Shauna was next. She was never patient, not with what she liked - her hand grabbed your hair (no one protested, everyone decided she deserved it for scoring the final goal during the nationals qualifiers) and she pulled herself roughly-gently towards her vagina. Your eyes rolled back and you almost got lost in her thick dark pubic hair, but fuck, she was delicious and you were ready to continue as long as it took. You even forgot how to breathe sometimes - Shauna was a little rough, muttering something harshly under her breath and moaning, repeating your sweet name. She came quickly and took a step to the side, pulling up her shorts and retreating to the bathroom, apparently to rethink something.
Then there was Taissa… and Van. They were both allowed near you at the same time. You were dumbfounded, not knowing how to cope with taming two pussies at the same time, but you didn't even have time to wipe the saliva and cum from your mouth, as the red vagina was in your mouth. You had to change one pussy to the other every 15-20 seconds, trying to lick both like never before. You were forbidden to use your hands, but they both frantically encouraged you as best they could, while your tongue circled their clits, and the dirty noise filled the locker room, already filled with heat and languid sighs.
"You're holding up great, Y/N… Come on, help Van a little…" Taissa whispered, tearing you away from her pussy, because you stubbornly did not want to stop. However, upon hearing her order, you quickly set to work on Van, drawing a sigh of excitement from her, and ten seconds later, an orgasm. Taissa followed.
Then there was Nat. You licked your lips, ready to receive her. You were surprised that her pussy was shaved, maybe she was getting ready and wanted to please you? This thought caused a sweet warmth in you. And Nat's pussy tasted sweet too. You sucked on her clit, wanting to please her in a way that no guy had ever done. Natalie moaned surprisingly softly, and it excited you so much that there was almost no dry spot left in your panties. She let you use your hands, and you held her by the hips, because she was shaking while your wet tongue caressed her tender folds, and the hot air from her nose came straight to her pubis. Needless to say, Nat came quickly, but for some time she did not want to leave your mouth? Misty didn't even ask your permission. Her head was wrapped around yours, her fingers tangled in your soft hair, and she was holding you to her bushy pussy like she was dying without it. You were taken aback, but that didn't stop you from wanting to please her, even if her actions were met with disapproval from the other girls. No one wanted to be played with more roughly than the rest. You licked her, trying to please her as much as possible - Misty looked like she was not easy to please, but she was whispering so sweetly in your ear, praise and advice, that your arousal literally flowed out of your panties.
"Yes, t-that's it, Y/N… That's just perfect, oh, you're so beautiful. You're just an angel, a little perfection." She muttered selflessly, her glasses falling to the tip of her nose as she came loudly in your mouth.
You were exhausted, but Lottie was still there. She was the last one. You looked up at her, tired, sluggish, and excited. She gave you a quick smile, but there was undisguised triumph in her eyes. She had you after all. Did we mention that Lottie hated rejection and not getting what she wanted?
Lottie lifted your chin, gently stroked your hair and tidied it up, wiped the tears of pleasure from your eyelashes. She let you dive into her pussy yourself, start licking it yourself, as if you were in some kind of licking contest and were going to take first place there. She let you keep glancing at her, watching every movement of her moaning mouth and trembling hands, just to please her. Your heart was beating so fast and it was so hot and you wanted to please her so much, plunging your sweet tongue into her pussy over and over again, that you had a hard time holding on. Lottie took the longest, savoring every second and apparently holding herself back. Eventually she pulled your head away from her, pressed her pussy to your forehead and came, covering you even more with her wetness. You were all for it.
"You did well, Y/N. You love us so much, you were ready for everyone." Lottie said tiredly. She nodded to the girls, and they sat around you. "Now you've earned a reward, huh?" You nodded vigorously, needing release. You were so wet, and almost whining with excitement. Your head ended up in Shauna's lap, and Nat, Misty and Jackie quickly found themselves at your feet. Misty nibbled on your calves and thighs, often not hesitating to do it quickly and hard, while Jackie, on the contrary, licked them like a kitten, gently nipping at the sensitive skin. This crazy contrast made you breathe quickly and roll your eyes, and all for the sake of Shauna watching this cute picture. Nat touched your pussy with her tongue, her two fingers slid inside your wet cunt - after such a long abstinence, taking two fingers at once was not at all difficult. You moaned, letting them all work on you while the others watched. Natalie's tongue was trying so hard to please you, playfully sucking and pulling on your clit, playing with your labia and purposely quickly driving her fingers into you, wanting to bring you to the peak and play on you like guitar strings.
"We love you, Y/N, such a gift for us." Jackie purrs, watching Natalie fuck your helpless pussy.
"You're the best!" Misty agrees with a smile, biting you and licking it slobberily.
"All that's left is to cum." Shauna says calmly, not hiding her smirk, constantly keeping her eyes on herself. "Come on. Nat's mouth is waiting for it."
As if on cue, you spill into Natalie's mouth with a loud moan. Everyone exhales relaxedly, and Natalie cleans your pussy with her tongue. "You're just sweet, princess." She smirks at her own abilities.
You let yourself sink into the girls' arms, catching your breath. You don't know yet that later they'll help you get dressed, each of them will kiss you on the lips, and you'll tell them to talk about it after Nationals. In the end, you still can't seem to choose one. You love them all, and you're waiting for them to return to Wiskayok, safe and sound, with victory in hand.

warnings: NSFW - content MDNI. mid gore. toxic relationship.
★ — you don't really want to know her real age. the number would scared you, trust me. she basically can't settle down. met few girls, been with them. but everytime, when she turned someone else to a vampire, they would simply run away from her. which is completely reasonable if you ask me. until she came to that shithole, Wiskayok in New Jersey and met you. you, who seemed to be so kind, so painfully human that she started feeling ugly jealousy. she didn't know if she wanted to be you or be with you.
★ — she came up with a diffrent tactic. decided that if previous relationship ended awfully, she'll make everything properly this time. properly in her terms, of course. which meant showing up in your room late at night, feeding on you. one night she simply lost herself. she bit you and make you swallow her own blood. so yeah, next day you were a mess.
★ — shauna, who proritised making you utterly dependent from her. she wanted to control you, keep you close. she pretended that she had no idea, who turned you, and basically decided to play this hero, who shows you how to live with that whole vampire thing now (read: you're fucked)
★ — shauna, who wears flannels everwhere in any weather to not get burned. sometimes uses bandanas on her head, and sunglasses. she says that they make her look cool or smth, but you doubt that.
★ — she feeds on people, saying that they're more nutritious and taste better than animals. you always grimace at that, it's not exactly ethical in your mind, but she stopped caring long time ago. she flirst with mortals only to drag them later to the bedroom and devour them.
★ — shauna, who introduce you to the real pleasure. when she urges you to feed on her for the first time, you're hesistant. is it even...right? but she pulls you on her lap with this ridicoulous strength and speed. you wrap around her, her hands guides yours to touch her pulse point, and you almost drool yourself. you hear soft thumping of her heart, feel tempting body under your fingertips, and you barely register the moment when your fangs are fully out.
★ — shauna, who helps you ride her thigh, while you suck her blood. she's precise, pressing you against her just right. you whine in her skin, smearing blood all over your mouth. she's done this so many times, and still - her hips jerk with each movement of your lips. she's groaning, head thrown back in ecstasy.
★ — she's...sassy. ovedramatic and whiny. mind her, she's been so long on this world that she's bored. but at the same time, she refuses to even acknowledge new technology. mostly gets frustrated with that. "shauna it's..." you start, but she cuts you off with a scoff. "it's total bullshit" she rolls her eyes not even looking at the app you're showing her. "back in time it didn't even exist and everyone were just fine."
★ — bites. bites. bites. obviously, she's a vampire. but she loves biting you just to taste you, your blood, your skin. not exactly to feed on you, but she has this strange desire to feel you on her tongue constantly.
★ — possessive. long story short, she'll either kill or turn into a meal anyone, who will try to flirt with you. good luck with having friends. she'll feed on them anyway. you don't need other people, right? just her.
★ — has a power of manipulaton. she was great at gaslighting before, sure. but now, anytime you try to walk away, cause she's starting to do fucked up shits, she uses that strength. the worst part? you know that this sweet tone of hers means that you're being awfully manipulated , but you stay anyway. you can't just walk away.
"baby," she murmurs cupping your face, making sure you're looking her right in the eyes. her smile seems almost poisonous. "you don't really want to leave me, do you?" she brushes your cheekbones and presses kiss to the corner of your mouth.
"you're mine," she'll tell you later. "you were never not mine," she'll whisper to your ear.
★ — oversensitive. better smell, hearing, eyesight (especially in the darkness. her eyes are glowing deep red). has constant headaches and gets easily overstimulated. seems like she's never got used to being hyperaware of everything. she lays on bed on worst days, sighning dramatically and rambling something about endless suffering.

Peace - Act II : Chapter five
Lottie Matthews x fem!reader
Masterlist | Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
Summary: Reader comes back to her hometown and transfers to Wiskayok High School after getting expelled from her previous high school. Follows Junior year into Senior year, all the way up to the crash. (Eventual NSFW mdni)
Warnings: None
A/N: shit bouta hit the fan 😪
The lunchroom is its usual chaos — trays clattering, voices overlapping, someone blasting No Doubt from a boom box in the corner. The varsity soccer table is packed: Jackie, Shauna, Van, Allie, Natalie, Mari, and now, as of the past few weeks, you and Lottie.
You were sitting beside Lottie, who has barely touched her sandwich. Shes staring at her tray like she’s reading into it, her fingers twitching at the crusts. You notice.
“Hey,” you say under your breath, nudging her gently. “You good?”
Lottie doesn’t answer. Her eyes dart up and around. Her lips part slightly, breath catching. She swallows hard and blinks like she’s trying to fight something off. You lean in a little closer.
“Lottie,” You say, soft and steady. You grab her hand under the table.
Lottie flinches, but then stills. Her eyes focus on you, like she’s the only thing real in the room. There’s a silent exchange, breath held between them, before you nod toward the exit.
“Bathroom,” you announce to the table casually, already standing. “Be right back.”
Lottie follows without a word, clutching your hand like it’s the only thread tethering her to the ground.
As soon as they disappear, Van smirks into her soda can. “Damn. She really said, ‘emotional support girlfriend,’ huh?”
Natalie snorts. “Can’t blame her. Y/N basically a human tranquilizer. I’d steal her too.”
The table laughs — except Jackie. Jackie, who has been picking at her salad since they sat down, stabs a crouton like it owes her money.
She tilts her head, her voice dripping with sweetness. “It’s just funny. A few weeks ago, Lottie couldn’t even spell Y/N name. Now she’s holding hands at lunch like they’re in some sort of indie movie.”
There’s a moment of silence, not shocked, just tired. Shauna raises an eyebrow without looking at her. Van rolls her eyes hard and tosses a carrot at Jackie, which bounces off her wrist.
“Okay, Heather Chandler,” Van says flatly. “Calm down.”
Jackie forces a laugh, like it was a joke all along. “What? I’m just saying. It’s new.”
“Yeah, so are you,” Natalie mutters, half under her breath.
Shauna doesn’t say anything, but her eyes flick toward the cafeteria exit where you and Lottie disappeared. Something unreadable passes over her face. And back by the vending machines, Lottie presses her back to the cold tile wall, eyes shut tight. You kneel slightly in front of her, murmuring things Lottie can barely hear, grounding her. Calming her.
Lottie finally exhales, hand still curled tight around yours. It’s not love. Not yet. But it’s something dangerously close.
Lottie’s back is against the cool tile, her breath finally slowing. The soft hum of a nearby vending machine is the only sound filling the space. You were crouched in front of her, steady and present, like the world isn’t tilted sideways.
“Is it still loud?” You ask gently, watching her.
Lottie shakes her head, hair brushing her shoulders. “No. Not really. Just… scrambled.”
You stay quiet. You’ve learned not to fill the silence, not when it’s something like this, something real and tender and breakable. Instead, you wait, fingers still wrapped around Lottie’s hand like a grounding wire.
Lottie looks down at their joined hands, then up at you. “You always do that,” she says.
You tilt your head. “What?”
“Know when to pull me back.”
Your face softens, and you slowly rise to your feet. You don’t let go. “You were just having a moment,” you say. “We all have our moments. I just... caught yours.”
Lottie gives you a fragile smile, the kind that doesn’t quite reach her eyes. “You make it sound easy.”
You look at her for a moment. “It’s not. But I’m in your corner…always.”
That makes Lottie’s eyes shine a little. She blinks quickly, looking away. For a beat, it’s just them, two girls standing too close in a too-bright hallway, one trying not to fall apart and the other refusing to let her.
“Wanna skip the rest of lunch?” You offer.
Lottie considers it, then shakes her head. “No. I wanna go back in. I want to prove I can.”
You nod. “Okay.”
They start walking back, hand-in-hand again. But just before they reach the double doors, Lottie tugs you back gently.
“Wait.”
You pause, turning to her. Lottie looks at you for a long second, then leans in. She doesn’t kiss you-not quite. Just rests her forehead to yours for a moment. “Thank you,” she whispers.
You feel your breath get shaky for a second, before you nod and close your eyes. “Anytime.”
You pull apart just as the cafeteria noise rushes toward them, slipping back into the crowd like nothing happened. But the moment clings to them, invisible and unforgettable.
And from the table, Jackie sees the way you walk in together. The quiet between you. The tension. The trust. And she doesn’t say anything. But her knuckles whiten around her fork.
It’s the end of lunch when Shauna’s leaned up against the lockers, textbooks hugged to her chest, watching Jackie buzz like caffeine incarnate.
It starts with Jackie’s voice, loud, confident, echoing down the hall like she owns the place. (Which, sometimes it feels like she kind of does.)
“I’m throwing a party tomorrow night,” she announces, barely glancing back at Shauna. “It’s been too long. Everyone’s boring lately. I’m bored.”
Shauna raises an eyebrow. “It’s been, what, a week since Mari’s?”
Jackie shrugs. “Exactly. We’re overdue. My parents are in Cape May. House is mine. You in?”
Shauna gives her a look, the one that says, do you really need to do this? But Jackie is already scanning the hallway. And then, with perfect timing, Lottie and you round the corner, laughing at something, you holding a folded zine printout, Lottie bumping your shoulder gently in that way she always does now.
Jackie sees it. Something shifts behind her eyes. And Shauna knows what’s coming before it even starts. “Lottie. Smalls,” Jackie calls sweetly, too sweetly. “Party. Tomorrow. You’re coming, right?”
Lottie blinks. “Wait, what party?”
“At mine. Duh. We need a vibe reset after the Wildcat game. Shauna’s in. You’re in.”
You glances at Shauna, unsure. Lottie just tilts her head, trying to read Jackie’s energy. “I don’t know if—”
“Don’t flake,” Jackie cuts you off, all fake charm and flicked hair. “Everyone’s expecting you two. I already told Allie you were coming. It’ll be fun.”
Shauna watches you hesitate. You are still worn thin, your smile doesn’t quite stick lately. And Lottie’s been walking on invisible eggshells, no matter how good she’s gotten at hiding it. This party? It’ll be gasoline on a slow burn.
But you just nod. “Okay… yeah. Sure.”
And Lottie, softer than she was five seconds ago, mirrors it. “Alright. We’ll come.”
Jackie grins, satisfied. And in that second — that flash of control regained, Shauna sees it. Jackie’s not trying to fix anything. She’s trying to win. She’s always been good at masking it as fun. But this? This is war disguised as a party invite.
When they walk away, Jackie loops her arm through Shauna’s.
“You’re mad,” Jackie sing-songs under her breath.
“I’m cautious,” Shauna replies.
Jackie grins wider. “Same thing.”
Shauna doesn’t smile back. She just watches you and Lottie’s backs disappearing down the hallway. A weird twist curls in her gut. Not jealousy. Not quite.
More like… foreshadowing.
Something bad’s coming. Shauna can feel it in her bones. And Jackie? Jackie’s already lit the match. Shauna’s wiping down a punch bowl when she hears Jackie in the next room, her voice light and calculated as ever.
“Seriously, Nat. Just bring something decent. I’m not asking you to, like, break into a dispensary.”
Shauna freezes halfway through drying the spoon. Of course, she thinks. Of course Jackie called her. Natalie’s voice filters through the living room on speaker, distant and scratchy. “You hate me.”
Jackie laughs. “I don’t hate you. I just think you’re… inconsistent. But you throw a mean party favor. So, peace offering?”
Shauna leans her hip against the counter and sighs. Jackie walks back into the kitchen like she didn’t just casually ask one of the most chaotic girls on the team to be the night’s designated supplier.
“You’re really calling Natalie for this?” Shauna asks flatly.
Jackie shrugs, balancing a bag of chips between her arm and hip. “She owes me.”
“She literally doesn’t.”
“She kind of does,” Jackie argues. “Also, she’s fun. Like, wild card fun. This party needs a little chaos. Everyone have been so…” Her voice trails off, like the words are sour in her mouth. “…different lately. Like we need to change things up. Remind Sma-I mean people where the fun is.”
Shauna gives her a sharp look. “Is that what this is about? Y/N?”
“No,” Jackie says too quickly. Then, “Maybe a little. Look, it’s not like I’m trying to destroy them. I’m just trying to…” She pauses, pulling out a lighter to test if it still works. “Reassert the vibe.”
Shauna narrows her eyes. “Jackie. You're throwing a party just to feel in control again.”
Jackie doesn’t deny it. Just tosses the lighter onto the kitchen table and shrugs. “You helping or not?”
Shauna grabs the next cup. “Against my better judgment, apparently.”
A knock on the sliding door makes them both jump. It’s Natalie, standing there in an oversized leather jacket, a cigarette between her fingers, and an amused look on her face.
“Well, well. Captain Golden Girl. You really must be desperate.”
Jackie opens the door with a megawatt smile that doesn't quite meet her eyes. “We all play our part.”
Shauna doesn’t say anything. She just watches the two of them exchange a look, one full of old friction and temporary truces. Jackie always played nice when it suited her. And tonight, it suits her just fine. Natalie walks past Shauna with a raised brow. “Did you sign up for this shit willingly?”
Shauna sighs. “Don’t remind me.”
She glances around the house: streamers are up, a playlist’s queued on the CD changer, snacks laid out like offerings to the gods of teenage recklessness.
And somewhere out there, you are probably pacing your room, still unsure about coming. And Lottie’s probably already showered and dressed, her mask polished, just trying to feel normal.
Shauna feels like she’s standing in the center of a lit fuse. Jackie tosses a bag of ice in the cooler and claps her hands. “This is going to be perfect.”
Shauna thinks perfect isn’t quite the word she’d use. Catastrophic, maybe. But she keeps her mouth shut. Because at this point? There’s no stopping it.

art fair

jackie taylor x fem!reader
summary: jackie taylor is the elementary school's art teacher.
warnings: too much fluff, jackie and reader being adorable, not proofread
you weren't expecting to stay for any longer than five days this time. that was the initial plan and the words you had said to your parents on the phone before you arrived to wiskayok, new jersey.
the second high school was over, you took the first bus to new york and never looked back. okay, never was a strong word. despite the strong feeling you had to free yourself from the place where you had an awful time in high school, sometimes you would come back to visit your family and your sister, in special.
not wanting to miss her growing up, you had to work extra shifts on the bookstore to pay for a decent looking car, capable of going back and forth from new jersey to new york twice in a month.
now, it was an special occasion. for her 8th birthday, you promised her that you would spend the week in your family home and spend time doing fun things. and by fun things, she meant fun things for her.
the first thing you were asked as soon as you put your feet inside was "what did you get me?"
after wishing your sister a happy birthday and watching her open her present, you sink into the couch with drowsy eyes after some good two hours driving, feeling exhausted. you were so tired that you weren't even paying attention to what the small human full of energy was chattering around you.
"what do you think we should do first? we can go roller skating!"
"bug, i hate roller skating. you know that." god, you remember the last time you fell on your face. you wore a purple eyes for weeks.
"...or we could go get me new books! mom promised me you would go out with me." she keeps talking, not paying attention to you. that was going to be a very long week.
the very next day, you could barely open your eyes when your sister forced you to wake up early and drive her to school, affirming that it was part of the birthday package you promised her even though you didn't actually recall that
[🎨]
you had the brilliant idea to go straight home after dropping the kid at school and sleep for the rest of the day. or until she got home with quick loud steps and a vibrant high-pitched voice.
your great idea fell apart when you were effectively blackmailed by a tiny human dragging you to her classroom, excited to show you everything. you weren’t even sure if you were allowed in there but you followed her anyway.
"that's cool, bug! you did that?" you encouraged her regardless of the many screams of the other kids hurting your ears, right after seeing the paint strokes in a small canvas forming the figure of a person. for a eight year old, the kid had some actual talent. it was better than what you could do.
she nods, extremely proud of herself. "ms. taylor is teaching us how to paint for next week's art fair. you’re coming, right?"
five days. five days was all you could do. it was a pain in the ass to convince your boss to let you skip work for a week and you only managed to do it cause she was a friend of the family. more than that and you would turn into a jobless woman.
“i’ll see what i can do, alright?” you get on your knees to match her height. “now i’m gonna go home and later we can watch…” your voice trails off when your attention is stolen by a woman entering the classroom.
wearing baggy and colorful clothes with glasses that made her look even more attractive, she had a few books threatening to fall from her hands and loose paper sheets. nothing like the old women you used to have for a teacher when you were young.
“good morning, party people! sorry i’m late today.” she doesn’t seem to notice you, too busy and overwhelmed while organizing her desk. she was probably used to be surrounded by loud gremlins all the time, you thought.
she was about to say something but her lips closed after not even a second, knitted brows and an uncertain but polite grin painted on her face. “oh, and i think we have a visitor today.”
and your world fully stops when she looks at you. flushed cheeks as you were practically drooling.
“that’s my sister, she's visiting for my birthday!” the little one fills the awkward silence, not looking like she cares about your unexpected loss of words.
“aw, this is so sweet.” she frowns for a second and all of sudden, her eyes are on you “and are you having a good time down there?” she chuckles, causing your heart to skip a beat, and only then you notice your knees hurting. you were still on the floor, looking like a full time idiot. you hear the other kids the room laughing as well.
“yeah, i was just… tying her shoes.” you stand on your feet as quickly as possible, nearly losing balance.
“no, you weren’t. my shoes don’t have-.” your hand flies over your sister direction to cover her mouth.
your legs were feeling like thin sticks as you walked towards the light haired woman, extending your hand to her. “hi, sorry.” you said falteringly.
“it’s all good. i like to stay on the floor sometimes too.” she offers you an empathetic smile. “i’m jackie.” she finally shakes your hand.
“jackie.” you echo her, subtly shaking your head. it felt like you were absorbing her name into your soul. even her name sounded like something that could be in a movie. “hi. i’m-“
“i know. your sister talks a lot about you. but i guess i wasn’t expecting you to be like this.” you freeze again.
“like what?" your voice trembles as you ask.
she didn’t say anything but you feel her eyes wandering around you while she smiles.
jackie gave you an excuse, apologizing for interrupting the conversation but emphasizing how she desperately needed to start the class. she was already late and you felt bad for taking so much of her time.
“it was nice to finally meet you.” is all she says and you made sure to say it back. before walking through the door, you quickly wave at your sister, not wanting to disrupt them anymore.
you immediately gave up on the idea of sleeping for the entire day. how could you when you had just met jackie taylor?
overthinking everything was like a piece of cake for you, as easy as blinking. but it wasn't hard to overthink things when jackie's first impression of you was probably a terrible one, knees on the floor and making a fool of yourself.
you were happy to welcome your sister back home from school, disregarding the fact that she told your parents that you were drooling over her art teacher on your damn knees. how can kids remember so much?
wanting to know more about her very interesting teacher, with ice cream for dinner, you succeeded in finding out that jackie taylor wasn't a married woman.
"why do you wanna know that?" you struggle to understand the few mumbles thanks to her stuffing her mouth with ice cream.
"okay, i think you had enough." you whisper, slowly moving the bowl away and ignoring her question.
[🎨]
for the next two days, between a bookstore visit or going out for ice cream, you would give jackie taylor a thought. not because you cared or was interested, of course, you were just curious. and you wanted to fix the impression you made on her.
"are you driving me today?" was the question you were asked every morning.
too tired, too sleepy, too early, bad headache, terrible cramps. were all the excuses you gave her so you could have a few more hours of sleep. until the third day.
"school is starting soon!"
"hmm, i don't know if i'm taking you... i'm feeling so-"
"ms. taylor's class is the first one today." you notice her playful tone. she knew you too well.
"good. i'm actually feeling so good today." fast as the wind, you shoot out of the bed.
"you don't have to walk me there anymore. i'm not a baby." the eight year old complains as she notices you following her inside.
"sure, i know. i just wanna make sure you're safe." that wasn't a full lie. yes, you were looking forward to talk to jackie again, but you still cared about your sister.
[🎨]
you were fifteen minutes earlier that the actual class time and by the time you walk into the room, jackie was already there. with your sister going straight to talk to her friends, that was your chance.
"good morning." you timidly knock on the halfway open door, not wanting to scare her.
"hello there!" jackie closes the book that was laying on her big desk in front of her, fixing her gaze on you. lips curving upward. "not tying any shoes this morning?" standing up, she adjusts her slightly crooked glasses as she watches you get closer.
"not today, no. too hard to find any customers." you join her tease, feeling like you have been blessed as she laughs.
"you should try the art exhibition next week. lots of shoes to tie in there." you caught yourself thinking that she may be flirting with you but maybe you were just going crazy for drinking so much coffee lately.
"i would love to tie some stranger's shoes on a school event." playing along, all you could think was that you urgently had to stay for more than just five days. time to beg your boss twice.
"nice! i'll see you there, then." about to end the conversation, jackie's smile widens and the simple act almost makes you fall on your knees again.
"actually..." you fight to not stumble over your words as you create the fastest excuse ever to see her again. "my sister and i are going out for roller skating tomorrow. you should join us."
jackie's gaze lifts back at you, eyebrows raising in curiosity.
"why should i?" she had the casual smirk adorning her face, probably enjoying this entire situation much more than you.
"because... we're going to a park nearby and there's a few tables in there. what's greater to an art teacher than a pretty view to paint?" you were quite proud of how quick your mind worked.
jackie seems to take a brief moment to think about your words, even though she had already made her mind minutes ago.
"it's a deal."
"what? you hate skating. remember when you had a purple eye? that was funny." you turn around to find your sister standing by the door, giggling at the memory of your swollen face. jesus, for how long she was in there?
[🎨]
you met jackie at the park after spending the entire day double-checking your helmet and all of your safety equipment. you couldn't afford to fall again. not this time.
with a huge bag and many art supplies, jackie carefully placed everything on the picnic table while being squeezed in a hug by your sister. the first thing you noticed was how jackie dressed the exact same way out of school. free of any boring clothes and with no glasses this once.
"you actually came." you shyly mirror her grin.
"of course i did. i need to paint something for the fair and i thought that the good old blue sky and pretty trees would do the job."
"so an empty canvas is what made you come?" nervously, your eyes dart back and forth at the brushes on the pine table and her eyes.
"not just that. i think the companny is pretty rad too."
after feeding the ducks with your sibling, you joined jackie by sitting in front of her. she appeared to be so relaxed even when being so gentle and cautious with the paint. you couldn't help but feeling at ease as well.
"found something worthy of being painted by you?"
jackie looks at you over the canvas with rosy cheeks and a contented smirk, affirming with her head. "i think i did."
"it's nice of you to stay longer." her narrowed focused eyes are back on her work, sometimes meeting yours.
you didn't remember telling jackie that it wasn't on your initial plan to stay that long and as if she was capable of reading minds, she snorts before explaining herself.
"she told me you wouldn't be here for the art exhibition." her head points at your sister, skating around the small lake.
"she really does talk a lot about me." you joke, referring to what jackie said when you first met her.
"why did you?" eyes locked on the piece of work, jackie tries to sound unbothered.
"stay longer?" she agrees silently.
"i figured that i really like art. and i couldn't miss such an important event for her."
"so your love for art was what made you stay?" jackie questioned and, once or twice, you would catch her more concerned glance at you.
"not just that. i think the art teacher is pretty rad too."
in the middle of longing stares and jackie blushing for the first time, you hear a childish voice calling you.
"aren't you coming? you're so boring!"
snapping out of the jackie taylor effect, you realized that you still haven't fulfilled your promise to skating with your sister.
jackie, not worried about the painting anymore, quickly put on her rollers with a huge beaming expression. without a single effort to stay still on those things, you became aware of how experienced she was.
"come on, i'll help you out." standing in front of you, she offers you a hand and you don't wait much to accept it.
[🎨]
you were a nervous wreck when the big day came and it wasn't even your works that were going to be exposed to people. in honor of jackie, you tried to wear something formal like a nice looking suit and elegant shoes. a bit too much for a simple school event but it was much more than that to you.
at school, you were surrounded by an impressive quantity of paintings already framed on walls. some of them were adorable, made by younger students.
being pulled by your sleeves, you spend a few minutes in the area where your sibling's works were hanging in and seeing her so happy made you pleased to your decision to stay.
with a single poppy in hands, you find jackie talking to someone, probably a parent. at the exact moment your eyes met, she quickly excuse herself from the conversation to walk towards you with energetic steps.
"all of this looks amazing. you look amazing." is all you can say, not caring about the ear to ear grin on your lips.
"hi! you look great too. i like the suit. so fancy." her hand tenderly brushes over your shoulder, feeling the soft fabric of your clothes.
"it's a special occasion, right? and, here, i got you something."
jackie's face radiates happiness at the second she sees her favorite flower being handled to her, eyes sparkling at you.
"thank you! how did you know i like them?" she tucks the flower into her hair, prettier than ever.
"you know, she talks a lot." you two share a laugh. "aren't you gonna show me your work?"
as her silky hands covered your eyes from behind you, she guides you to the wall with all of her artworks.
"you ready?" your nod in response and she let go of your eyes.
as soon as you open them, one specific framed canvas catches your attention. it was jackie's first view from when she was sitting at the picnic table the other day. you and your sister feeding the ducks on the lake, with the exact same clothes you were wearing. there was no doubt.
"jackie..." you gasp, stunned, jaw almost hitting the floor.
"you like it? i thought it would be something worthy to paint." she's nervous. you can hear her shaky voice as she speaks.
instead of saying something, you spin around to face jackie behind you. with trembling hands, you trace her jawline before pulling her in for a kiss.
you were a big fan of art now.

“some of you may die, but that’s a sacrifice i’m willing to make.” 𓂃 ‘ persephone “ effie “ l’oiseau ‘ — fly, little dove.
played by : anya taylor-joy (teen) , riki lindhome (adult)
layout ib @artificialroux & @puppybutcher (love your ocs!!) fyi, this is just what i’ve planned for effie at the moment and there are a lot of gaps in her storyline left for me to fill, i’m still catching up on s3 so bare w me!! also feel free to ask questions, im pretty sure ill have some sort of answer for effie in my head.
PRE-CRASH
now playing : kiss me … “ so apparently the ‘bad vibes’ i’ve been feeling are actually severe psychological distress. “
effie’s overall character links to the innocence and peace dove’s are most known for, but more importantly, she links to Virgin Mary as she symbolises the humanity that was originally lost when jackie succumbed to the wilderness & effie also takes on the role of a mother figure, despite being the youngest senior.
she shows a character who preserves her innocence and identity throughout the beginning of the show, but slowly begins to lose this trait of hers and it being heavily tainted by the blood of others that she chooses to destroy. she is ruthless and unforgiving.
effie was born in vancouver, canada in 1979 to a single mother who didn’t want to be a mother and was suffering from an unknown mental illness, so, effie was adopted by an elderly couple in wiskayok, new jersey.
originally, effie was nameless but her adoptive parents decided on the name persephone meaning “bringer of destruction” or alternatively, “destroyer of death”. this contrasts the meaning of her last name, l’oiseau which is french for ‘bird’.
growing up, effie was a naturally quiet girl who rarely ever went out of her comfort zone or spoke up, simply because she preferred life without distractions. however, she soon began to show symptoms of paranoia which turned her quiet and calm personality into something more sinister and aggressive.
much like lottie, effie was put on medication which seemed to cease the signs of a psychotic disorder the doctors couldn’t quite understand. now, a voice in the back of her brain was constantly warning her something was coming—something big.
now playing : oh my angel … “ you two seriously trust whatever stuff that guys giving out? “
by the time effie reached high school, she was back to the kind & peppy girl she had trained herself to become, but now she spent her time sat in her pink, brightly decorated room with natalie, her most recent addition to her life, and if you asked her, her best-friend despite their contrasting personalities as well as appearances.
effie’s style never faltered, however. she would still consistently wear bright colours but more often dull pinks. she would simply flash a fake smile if someone tried to ask her about it.
somehow, effie had managed to make friends with most of the girls’ soccer team and was someone everyone liked but especially jackie & shauna, who were practically inseparable and were definitely not in need of a third. but effie had no plans of involving herself in their—whatever they were—and stuck to nat like she always did, occasionally hanging out with lottie, ultimately being what led to effie’s involvement in soccer.
soccer was something she had always been interested in but was never allowed to do as it seemed too “boyish“ and effie was someone who appeared to be a strictly girly type of girl.
surprisingly, effie was gifted. so much so that the other girls would often nickname her “little dove“ as when she played, she turned into a completely different person, almost machine-like, but still managed to keep her happy appearance off the field.
she adored soccer, much to shauna’s dismay, so when they had finally gotten the chance to attend nationals, effie was ecstatic. she could finally showcase her talent to the world and, maybe she would become a professional somewhere along the line. maybe she would find her calling on her way to nationals.
as a celebratory reward & the night before their flight, natalie convinced effie to dye her hair a similar shade of blond to hers and reluctantly, effie gave in. this was the first sign of effie’s withering identity.
THE WILDERNESS
now playing : come as you are “ and here i was thinking life couldn’t get any better—worse. “
effie had found her forever home. in the wilderness she is needed, wanted, by everyone. she plays into the mother figure role and becomes heavily immersed in it.
effie and lottie do not get closer after the crash. they were extremely close prior and effie began to devlop some romantic feelings towards her, however, their medication ran out and they were now rivals, both vying for the wilderness’s affection and thus destroying any bond they could have had until the beginning of s2 where things begin to shift.
instead, effie bonds with tai, or more likely, other tai. but effie's paranoia permits her from thinking seriously at times, so she hides away in the wilderness for hours at a time before lottie finds her and an incident happens. effie and lottie come back soon after, both bleeding but similar smiles on their face, and is that maybe...a hint of blush on effie's cheeks? who knows.
effie also finds solace in someone she would have never expected, travis. at first, she was jealous of travis. it wasn't fair. he was taking away her best-friend, the girl who she comforted everytime she ran over to her house in tears, the girl she would do just about anything for in order to get a single minute of her attention. and here comes travis. stupid. rude. and just stupid. he gets everything effie has ever wanted without even asking for it, so she keeps her distance from travis and has a complete meltdown when travis and nat come back from an unusally long hunting trip.
jackie confronts them. effie stands with jackie, feeling red hot anger rise within her when she notices they both look messy, as if—but she stops that train of thought. she notices the look of betrayal that flashes somehwere in nat's face and scoffs. she storms off into the wilderness. her comfort.
unbeknownst to her, travis and natalie follow her as she sulks on a tree stump. she doesnt want to make it a thing, so she forgives them, if she's even allowed to, and slowly begins to form a semi-friendship with travis, which later blossoms. effie’s not sure what the three of them are to eachother, and honestly, she doesn’t wanna know. it just feels right. all is somewhat at ease.
now playing : strangers “ what doesn't kill me should run, because now i’m fucking pissed. “
until they run out of food. until effie's medication runs out. the wilderness is telling her to eat, so she eats. she doesn't feel any remorse, not one bit. but then she remembers. she remembers who she's eating and is horrified. but effie can't stop. she doesn't want to stop.
the shift in effie is obvious, to all of the yellowjackets. the mother figure they found hope in had now turned her back on them and was no longer the same. her innocence was gone, her identity had changed, but effie continued to pretend, which soothed the minds of the yellowjackets and left them unprepared for what effie would do in the future. an evil was brewing, whatever that voice in the back of her head continuously told effie to be wary of, had manifested itself into her and it was coming.
effie maintains positive relationships with everyone but almost always feels nothing when they're gone. maybe its because she's so used to loss, or maybe its something more sinister (it is). effie doesn't want to leave. ever. the wilderness loves her. and she loves the wilderness back.
ADULT TIMELINE
now playing : deception “ i’m not insane, i’m sick. you of all people should understand that. “
effie had managed to avoid numerous mental institutions by reverting back to her “ nice, quiet girl “ act and stayed loyal to wiskayok, choosing to be hidden and under the radar, becoming a therapist by lying on applications & qualifications and completely dismissing her medical history. how ironic. she only had herself, it was lonely, yes, but it was fit for someone like effie—lost and ravenous. hungry for something that wasn’t there. that wasn’t real.
effie knew the yellowjackets would come to her, the wilderness had spoken to her. it called out to her. shauna tried to tell her that her paranoia had conformed itself into something dangerous and was acting in place of the wilderness but effie payed no mind to shauna’s baseless claims. what did she know about her wilderness? certainly not more than effie did.

LottieNat AU - Lottie is an extraterrestrial whose spaceship crashed in Wiskayok, NJ
Note: Someone PLEASE write an AU of Lottie as an extraterrestrial. It can be your own version and the storyline is up to you!
(Every AU idea I post is ALWAYS free prompts for writers to use. If you chose to write the prompt, you can change anything you want)
Song Inspiration: Backpack - Justin Bieber
Lyrics:
You said "I come in peace" so I took you home, I gave you food and I gave you clothes// I taught you how to move your feet, when the rhythm's on. You don't know what they're like, if they know that you're alive// They're gonna try to take away the secrets of your planet's life// I know you must be upset, you lost your family in the wreck. Don't try to find your spaceship// They might be out they're waiting// Stay in my backpack forever. Before you came around, I was in a rut// I didn't have a friend, didn't know what is was// You taught me how to dream, and how to love// You're my best friend, please listen to me.
Context: Lottie has powers of healing and manipulating nature. Nat discovers Lottie; takes her in and her from the government. Nat has a terrible home life and becomes attached to Lottie.
Also: Lottie is human presenting & Nat's backpack is a symbolism for a safe space.

My bad!
Re: Taivan as vampire hunters. Are they both humans? Or is tai like a Wesley snipes/Blade/half vamp? Is there any lycanthropy involved? (Like with Van or whoever?)
These two would totally have some freaky celebratory sex after slaying a vamp.
you're so good! thanks for moving the ask over here <33
yeah, so buffy is my vampire media origin story so i think i'm gonna pull a whole wiskayok is on the hellmouth kind of thing. like i said in an earlier post, new jersey has a white tail problem and it's soooo fucking funny to me for them also to have a vampire problem.
nat's background is that her mom used to be a vampire hunter but then mental health yada yada, she spiraled into addictions and ended up with nat's dad (normie human asshole). nat's dad got turned into a vampire by one of vera's enemies from the past & he came after both nat and vera in the trailer. nat, same age as her show trauma, kills him (because vera smh is fuckeeddd up). & then vera is like "well fuck, guess i got to train you now."
i kind of want to steal more from buffy. (y'all know i'm... very... i know... MANY... about buffy, right?) so in the tara maclay novelization the bewitching hour (which is actually a great read except that the author at one point refers to taco bell as "fresh mexican food" and i had to put the book down and scream laugh), tara's love interest is a vampire hunter who grew up in it!! i like the idea of lifting this character (daphne) for taissa and having her grow up in a family of hunters. maybe when tai and van get together (college sweethearts uwu), tai ends up realizing she has to bring van into the fold and train them so that they're not at risk by being associated with tai.
BUT YEAH, now they're badass co hunters & they definitely get the thrill of it. oh yeah, they are FREAKY after they finish a hunt.
#think i'm gonna do they/them for van bc fuck yeah#im not sure how i'll deep i'll go into werewolves or other creatures in this story...#HMMMM...#stuff to think about!!#gilbert-dauterive#fangbang

New Dawns in the Kingdom of Wiskayok: Main Characters
Name: Jacqueline "Jackie" Taylor
Age: 22-24 years
Occupation: Sorcerer's Apprentice
Love: Shauna Shipman (Unconfessed)
Species: Human
Greatest Talent: Memorize texts, spells and patterns very quickly.
Worst skill: She is very slow to react and dodge. She is very clumsy.
Background: She was an orphan at the age of 10-11, so she was taken in by the Saint Church's orphanage and was put in charge of cleaning the library as a child. The then scribe Laura Lee Smith didn't agree with such a young girl cleaning, so she took her in to help her write and translate the texts she was working on. When the Grand Sorcerer Charlotte arrived in Wiskayok, she saw great magical potential in Jacqueline and offered to take her as her apprentice to develop her magic. It took her a while to adjust to Charlotte's nomadic life, especially because she didn't like the experience of being away from Shauna Shipman (her lifelong best friend and also the girl she was in love with) for so long.
Name: Vanessa "Van" Palmer
Age: 23-26 years
Occupation: Paladin
Love: Taissa Turner (Formalized)
Species: Human
Greatest Talent: Is extremely skilled with a sword and her movements are very quick. She can turn any sharp object into a lethal weapon.
Worst skill: She never stays silent, she likes to provoke her opponent.
Background: Her father was a royal knight whose battle wound forced him to limit his life to training new soldiers. From a very young age, Van showed great skill with a sword, so her father trained her to be exceptional. Because of her great strength and perseverance, she decided to become a paladin instead of a simple knight. She met Taissa one of the times she accompanied his father to the Royal Palace during the palace's guard training, and fell madly in love from the first time she saw her. King Bill had teamed up with the Grand Sorcerer Charlotte and offered her a platoon for her adventures, but the Sorcerer declined, accepting only one companion: Van.
Name: Charlotte "Lottie" Matthews
Age: 34-36 years
Occupation: Greatest Wandering Sorcerer
Love: Laura Lee Smith (Unconfessed)
Species: Human
Greatest Talent: Her magical power is one of the most extraordinary in the area; she has immense knowledge in the preparation of potions and magical devices. Her specialty (acquired through her arduous studies) is healing and fire magic.
Worst skill: She struggles to connect with magical creatures and plants. Her innate power comes from dark magic, which is destructive, but she fundamentally avoids using it at all costs.
Background: Descended from a long and pure lineage of dark magic, Charlotte has dedicated her entire life to learning all the knowledge she could about the different manifestations of magic (and especially about healing and light magic). She saw firsthand how dark magic was prone to corrupting her family; witnessing her father—possessed by a dark force that dwells within all Matthews—exterminate her mother and all the residents of the family mansion. From a young age, she has had visions that have come true, and in some places she has come to be considered an Oracle of the gods. Due to the darkness that haunts her, she has chosen not to put down roots anywhere, so she is always wandering in search of new knowledge (and despite this, she has made many enemies in the magical community). Her visions led her to the Kingdom of Wiskayok, where it was revealed to her that she must take Jacqueline as her apprentice. Since she met the ecclesiastical Laura Lee Smith, her soul has been intertwined with hers for the rest of eternity, but her fervent fear that the darkness in her will ruin Laura Lee's life (in addition to not wanting to get in the way of her religious career) has never wanted to confess her deepest feelings.
Name: Shauna Shipman
Age: 22-24 years
Occupation: Junior Tavern
Love: Jackie Taylor (Unconfessed)
Species: Human
Greatest Talent: She remembers every person she's ever seen, is excellent at handling small sharp objects, and has a great command of the written word.
Worst skill: She's very impulsive, gets bored easily, and her temper has gotten her into several trouble with clients. She's extremely possessive.
Background: She always dreamed of dedicating herself to poetry and writing brilliant plays that could be performed in all the known realms. But she gained her limited academic training from the times she was able to visit Jackie when she was a resident of the Great Cathedral. She is deeply interested in magic and literature, but almost never gets to explore these subjects because she must always help her mother in the tavern or her father in his butcher shop when her irresponsible younger brothers disappear due to drunkenness at any time of the week. She has a vast collection of books that Jackie has brought her from her travels, and one of her deepest desires is to be able to accompany Jackie on all her adventures.
Name: "Lady" Taissa Turner
Age: 25-28 years
Occupation: Diplomat, in training to be an advisor to the King
Love: Van Parmer (Formalized, secret relationship)
Species: Human
Greatest Talent: Excellent critical analysis, she stands firm in her ideals and is an effective conflict solver.
Worst skill: Her stubbornness and arrogance have made her enemies within the royal palace.
Background: The daughter of the king's treasurer and an influential aristocrat, her parents instilled in her a strong ambition to leave a lasting legacy. Van caught her eye from the moment she saw her training with her father as a teenager, but she never thought their paths would cross until Van actively began pursuing her. She is deeply aligned with King Bill's goals and her greatest wish is to be remembered as one of the most intelligent councilors who was instrumental in making the Kingdom of Wiskayok one of the most powerful.
Name: "Eminence" Laura Lee Smith
Age: 34-38 years
Occupation: Cardinal of the Most Saint Church of Wiskayok (recently)
Love: Charlotte Matthews (Unconfessed)
Species: Human
Greatest Talent: She is a polymath with an excellent memory. She has a good command of luminous spiritual magic and a very noble heart.
Worst skill: Her sense of duty makes it impossible for her to form deep bonds with people, she has trouble managing her time, and she has many accidents in the kitchen.
Background: Her father was a very old man and a highly virtuous scribe, and from a young age, he sensed that she should follow his legacy. She was motherless from birth, so all she knows are the walls of the Great Cathedral library, the ink, and the thousands of books she had to study and translate alongside her father until his death. The leaders of the ecclesiastical ordinance saw in her strong magical potential and a worthy advisor for the combined goals of the Church and the Kingdom. These leaders pushed an agenda for her to aspire to begin her career in the political spheres of the Great Church (so that she would not be a mere scribe without influence). Due to her charisma and knowledge, she rose very quickly through the established ranks, recently becoming the youngest cardinal in the entire kingdom. By her new rank, she is expected to surrender only her soul, body and spirit to the spiritual and ecclesiastical order of the Kingdom of Wiskayok: but, by fortune and misfortune, it was revealed to her that the Great Wandering Sorcerer was her predestined soulmate.

hiiii
how are you doing? i'm good, just passing by ☺️.
as you mentioned wanting requests or asks, an idea came to my mind: we already see the beginning and some bits of information about the real reason why TaiVan broke up, right? and, like, i think i had a request somewhere of a person who asked me of a potential scenario of how TaiVan operated post-rescue. what do you think happened? i mean, it could either be headcanons, general ideas, or straight-up your thoughts/wishes of how did they relationship work(ed)
thank you in advance 😌🫀
it took me a second to get to this because i wanted to really have the time to think about it, and now that i have, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
unpopular opinion but i do not think that the taivan breakup was while they were in the wilderness. idk if that even is a popular opinion, or maybe it’s a known fact that they broke up after that, but regardless!! i just like saying unpopular opinion!! they were definitely holding onto some INSANE codependency after the rescue.. like they’ve been living with each other and only each other for 19 MONTHS.. IN THE WOODS.
i can see them getting back to wiskayok (tai’s family of course had to bring van home because her mom is NOT picking her up let’s b real) and van is just clinging to tai’s arm, and then they have to be separated and it’s this look that they give each other i can’t even describe it
they’re watching their lifeline actually walk away, when they’ve spent 19 months thinking they would never have to be separated. taivan has become so codependent by the rescue that the thought of them not being around each other isn’t imaginable. by the end, they’re like a version of jackie and shauna that actually got to be together, and they’re riding out the outcome.
tai begins to heal before van. we all know this to be true- and i think that’s where their already emotionally unhealthy relationship starts completely deteriorating. after a while, tai just wants to completely move on, completely block it out of her mind, but van lives in the past. and i think that’s what she becomes to tai, she becomes the past- and that eventually leads to a messy ass breakup!!
you are such a beautiful human ugh i love when you send me asks 💋 kissing you rn!! how are you?? also i’m sorry this took forever your girl has been comically busy lately ;) i want to write more about this exact topic so much, once i escape the horrors expect an essay 😽

@scatcrccio gets a Yellowjackets (2021 timeline) starter
25 years later and Faith felt like she was just thrown back in the wilderness.
She'd gone from being stranded with an ever-dwindling group of girls from her high school soccer team to a detention facility filled with equally vicious women hellbent on survival. At least there, she had three square meals and some excuse for a bed. No wolves. No antlers. But being let out on good behavior... she was being let out into a world she didn't recognize anymore. With her mother dead and her father long gone, all she had were the clothes on her back, $100 gate money, and that fucking postcard when they showed her ass to the exit. Parole was better than nothing, given the conviction was 25 to life for first degree murder.
She didn't kill anyone. Not anyone human, at least.

After getting a cab back to Wiskayok to see what was left of her life, Faith had just enough money to check into a motel for the night and figure out the next steps. She couldn't even play phone-a-friend, watching time and technology pass her by in the slammer. Even if she got ahold of a payphone, she didn't know anyone's numbers anymore. Not even Nat's.
Shit, she was hungry. And now she had to forage in the urban jungle and take care of that herself. Faith needed the cash just in case she had to buy another night before she could find someone, anyone, from her old life to help her out. So she waited until it was late and dark, shuffling out to the motel vending machine to pry open the coin slot and see what she could fish out. Easy for a slayer. She just hoped there would be enough loose change to order a cheap pizza on the room's phone.
Hell, it beat skinning rabbits.
Faith was so focused on digging around the machine, her face pressed close to the metal edge, that she didn't notice (or chose not to notice) someone walking up behind her. She could always lie about the damn thing eating her change, right?

plots pls for regina( with hope, klaus, anyone?); mia/finch; coda/lottie
send me “plots please” and I’ll respond with 3 (or more) interesting plots / relationships / connections I can think of for our muses!
regina and klaus - they probably have a lot to talk about as people willing to play the villain in other people's stories, but are often not given much credit for having become such a villain due to the actions of their parents. regina with cora and klaus with mikael has a number of parallels, most strikingly the constant degradation and derision that they're weak, powerless, etc. they've both been hardened by life and both have done awful and unforgivable things, but they also probably could connect on their attempts to do good and be better, only to have their pasts thrown into their face
regina and hope - okay we could go one of two ways with this: a standard canon-esque relationship where regina sees hope very similar to henry (and emma). she's a child that serves as the lynchpin to the story, and she's remarkable in every way. in many ways, hope has exactly what regina wants, which is to maintain immortality without having to give up her magic. however, especially in a post-henry world (which is almost always how i'll play regina), she's not going to be as willing to harm a random child, even for her own gains. if anything, i can see her offering herself up as a resource for hope, to teach her some of the lost magic that she knows or expertise in dark objects (or teach her how to do the heart spell idk); ALTERNATIVELY we could do pre-evil queen regina who still believes in love and idk maybe instead of getting promised to some creepy old king, she gets promised to the tribrid and they have to deal with arranged marriage bs
regina and bellatrix - LISTEN I JUST NEED THE HOT EVIL MAGIC MILFS PLEASE
mia and finch #1 - pre-finch's appearance in canon, mia, loren and flori go to the grill and get seated in finch's section. loren and flori make fun of how red mia gets when finch flirts with her
mia and finch #2 - as an alternative to josie finding finch when she transfers to mfhs, i find it pretty hard to believe that there's an untrained werewolf under the noses of the school for longer than a few months and it seems like finch has been doing things for at least a year (since she was around when maya was in town), maybe a verse where mia finds finch, maybe fairly soon after she's brought to the school? finch is living the life that mia was just rescued from, on her own, while also trying to go to high school. it'd be a far less traumatic way for her to be introduced to the world of the supernatural
mia and finch #3 - this time in your lore, where after tiva is murdered and mia leaves len, they run into each other. i'd probably keep tvdu lore for finch but she'd still be in the part of her journey where she's not sure what the hell is going on and she thinks she's the only one out there. and it's just two feral teenagers trying to figure out the world, even if they're not exactly alike, but close enough for it to be meaningful
coda and lottie #1 - i vaguely remember you saying vampire lottie like once and now i need it. unlike most wolves, coda tends to be more suspicious of witches bc of what she went through with the hollow, so lottie being a vampire wouldn't outright deter her. also she's a golden retriever, so lottie could smile at her once and she'll be smitten (me too coda)
coda and lottie #2 - yj au where coda and lottie met in group therapy when they were kids (coda after her parents died, lottie bc her dad is a dick). she's not part of the soccer team and doesn't go to wiskayok high at all, but they bond over trauma and stuff and idk maybe they reconnect post-rescue
coda and lottie #3 - rich girl x kid from the wrong side of town and no one knows why they get along but they do. coda is all instinct and action while lottie is more cerebral and mindful, but it balances them out. is this supernatural or human or a different third thing? idk i'm just vibing

kinda controversial but whats your opinions on misty? (both teen and adult)
also, do you think there’s anything supernatural going on? i know thats a big talking point in the fandom
thank you for asking!!! i have a lot to say about this actually…..
oooh tbh, i see a bit of myself in misty. i truly think she’s just misunderstood and her desire to be needed and appreciated sometimes gets the best of her, which then leads to her doing some really impulsive, horrible things. i too can attest to just wanting to be liked by others and then doing things, maybe not sabotaging others but yk, self destructiveness, perchance. but even pre-crash misty, she’s def got some stuff going on….ive really connected with her these first two episodes of the third season as well. i’m really excited for how she possibly confronts the relationships in her life!
as for the supernatural aspect of the show. i think the suspension of disbelief has to come heavy with this show when we want to enjoy it. but it is fun to sometimes question things, though, even for me i think it gets a little tiring to question everything.
BUT i’ve had this idea in mind for a while. i haven’t heard anyone with this same idea so im not sure if i’m, like, pushing it, but the way i’ve explained it to myself on how the symbols, specifically, appeared in the wilderness before the crash, i think has to do with the settlement of indigenous communities living on those lands pre-colonization. i did a bit of research on my end and found that indigenous people were very spiritual especially when it came to nature and wanting to preserve it and such because it “provided” for them, which is a major factor in the show. i think that once these people died they probably became “one with nature” and now haunt the lands to try to keep its sacredness intact. and well, lottie being lottie was able to reach them on an astral plan the others couldn’t, which is why she becomes a vessel for the supposed supernatural.
all in all, from an anthropological standpoint whether the show is supernatural or not, doesn’t matter. if something was there with them, okay, but they still did what they did to survive. throwback to that line when adult shauna tells adult lottie that “it was just us.” and lottie replying with, “is there a difference?” because really, no, there isn’t.
as humans we are animals at our core. we’ve come to be from thousands of years of evolution but at our very core we have always been animals, we just know to be civilized now. which is how i understand why the girls become these “animalistic” and “primal” beings in the wilderness. out there it was survival or nothing.
it’s very natural for us to latch onto anything when we’re in such a distressing situation. it’s why they were willing to let lottie take the lead, they looked at her to justify what they did. it was their religion. what those girls went through wasn’t just physical it was psychological, and they were probably going at war with their brains trying to make sense of what was right or wrong when their own lives were at stake. they all needed something that would help them live with the weight of they had done or were about to do otherwise, they were probably better off dead.
i think as the show goes on we’ll for sure see how this comes up more, because they’re no longer who they were at wiskayok, they’ve all become something entirely different.
