last minute pride month art!!! satoru and suguru are sooo t4t and they help each out w t shots... i think it would kind of funny if satoru was a bit afraid of needles and put his infinity up on instinct LMFAO
actually finished this yesterday but only just got around to posting it LOL... ALSOOO have this unfinished comic, i might finish it in writing at some point, takes place in the locker room after training or some shittt
Tumblr media Tumblr media
kind of love the idea of at least satoru not really having the words to describe himself due to his upbringing and being so excited that theres finally a guy who gets it but having no tact and just blurting it out abruptly LOL.. suguru probably thought he wouldnt find anyone like him either so it was both a shock and very relieving to hear (even though im sure he expected having to knock satoru out instead at first)

Gojo and Nanami
One recurring theme through JJK is how in-universe most people think Gojo is disrespectful, annoying, and an overgrown child essentially. Even if we don't factor in the higher-ups the people around him (Nanami, Utahime) still reflect this. This is very interesting because in-universe Geto is revered before his fall from grace. He was more outwardly polite, respectful, even though many argue he had always had the mindset of being superior, he just took on a different responsibility with it. While I don't agree with that I can definitely see how Geto plays his cards right to not be as 'insufferable' as Gojo while portraying similar behaviour. Now let's look at Nanami, he's a disciplined logical man who adheres firmly to rules, but also ethics and morals. He protects the youth, he can't even bring himself to blame Geto for the choices he later on made because he first-hand understands how horrible jujutsu society is. Why did he go corporate, but it's the same thing there, braindead workers who are simply cogs for people 'above them' to abuse. Who does this impact the most? Gojo. He was a one-man army, he taught, he fought, he barely slept, yet he chose to wake up and do it every single day over and over again. Gojo could've ideally single-handedly handled all curses, ah but he's just a man (human) can't be everything everywhere all at once even if he was the strongest or a god (he's not). Nanami saw how his friend wasn't strong enough to survive in the jujutsu world, hell in the end he wasn't either, so what did he do? He took that out on Gojo. Never respecting the man who's always showing an interest or spending time around Nanami (ruffling his hair, calling him, trusting him). Yet in Nanami's mind, Haibara would be alive if Gojo went on that mission instead. Nanami would be alive if Gojo hadn't been sealed. Nobody would die if Gojo did it all. He knows that isn't right to expect out of someone, hell he doesn't understand why someone who could choose to do anything they wanted and have everything they simply look at, does something as vile as jujutsu. But of course, he's an adrenaline-junkie. We all read about billionaires being sociopaths, only being stimulated by these horrid things, Gojo must be that too.
He fought the king of curses because he likes fighting. He watched everyone around him die and did 'nothing' because he doesn't care. He's a teacher for the shits and giggles, he rescues students from execution and gives them childhoods because he hopes they're strong someday. Fuck Gojo could bleed and he'd marvel at the colour contrast, if he cries he'd bottle the tears to sell, if he dies he berates his entire life when he gave you everything. Was that not what 236 was? Then the subsequent arts showing him putting care and affection towards Geto while being annoyed by Gojo. It's one to be annoyed by him, but if you think he's a god you'd respect him. If you think he's morally reprehensible you'd hate him. But to make a martyr out of a live person, to view a living being through a lens to make them superior and expecting them to uphold that, you only do that when you're ignorant and dumb. Nanami is none of those things, to explore the disgusting thoughts and mindsets he showed toward Gojo as time went on due to his frustration at his comrades falling would've been beautiful. Instead, we have character assassination and everyone standing for it.
How would Shoko feel as her longest friend lay in pieces in front of her and she can't bring herself to cry because she doesn't even remember the last time they had a real conversation. She thought about how she should've handled Geto's body a year after the fact, but she just went and let someone vandalise Gojo's?
Fuck you're telling me that the airport had everyone in high school clothing but for what? Was it because it was the first and last time he was a human? And the worst part is this is one of the many unexplored things in JJK, it's so frustrating. I have so many more points about this too, Sukuna and Gojo, Gojo's relationship with his students, the little fun trivia bits about him. And that's just Gojo, other characters also have so fucking much that just, god man. It's like a self-fulfilling prophecy.

AU: Where Sukuna Wins
Part 1
Part 2 here
Imagine an alternate universe in which Sukuna triumphs, dominates over Japan, and endures a lonely existence for many centuries, while allowing some humans to live.
They hold a grudge against him, of course, and want to kill him. They train at Jujutsu High and have some great fighters that occasionally provide Sukuna with some entertainment.
They are so desperate for salvation, they can only find solace in prophecies about a figure with powerful blue eyes that will defeat the king of curses and rescue Japan.
And do you know what Sukuna does in response to that? One might expect him to go full Pharoah mode and kill newborns, but NO!!
HE DOES THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE !!
Whenever he ravages a village and devours the women and children, he ALWAYS spares the blue-eyed infants.
All the curses know better than to kill an infant with blue eyes. The last time a curse did that, Sukuna made sure to make an example of it.
Killing a member of the Gojo clan is also off limits, as well as anything that could delay the reincarnation of this certain person.
These humans are not the only ones waiting for salvation.
Sukuna is also WAITING...for his wretched existence to end at the hands of this person.
The ONLY one worthy of having the honor to do so.

does suguru canonically smoke? i like to imagine that if he does, satoru double-takes whenever he catches the smell of tobacco on the wind, spins around in the middle of busy city streets, ignores the way his heart thuds at every flash of long black hair. he buys a pack of cigarettes on suguru’s birthday the first year after, lights one just to watch it burn. he used to complain about the way the scent of smoke would settle into suguru’s clothes. how his mouth would taste like nicotine late at night. how his hands were dotted with burn scars after years of fumbling around with cheap lighters. and satoru has six eyes, has a brain that cannot stop conjuring suguru in all of his blind spots. but the lack of light after the last cigarette in his pack burns out to ash is as close to nothing as he’s ever seen.

question!! if tumblr does go down, where are you guys going to? or at least where are u most active outside tumblr?
#ive stopped using everything except tumblr and so i do need to think of where to go in case it's gone. so i guess i'd like opinions on where#f.txt#the reality is i know that if tumblr does disappear overnight i'll go and show signs of life on twitter#but idk twitter's life expectancy isn't looking very good vdfshfjf#i mean. it'll keep going but i know it's just going to keep getting worse#i know a lot of people have gone to bsky and if u have what's ur opinion on it? is it good? and do u like it#personally i never really got too interested bc it just feels like twitter 2.0#like interface and all that wise. it's just a copy of twitter from what i've seen. and i suppose it'll still be like short text post based#? havent actually used it so idk#at the end of the day i just wish there was smth else like tumblr. with the same posting and personaliztion capabilities#there's just nothing like tumblr 😭😭 i love the way it works a LOTTTTT. it's good it's honestly really good.#the people in charge just keep fucking it up for no reason 😭#the personalization options!!!! the incredible tagging system. being able to make sideblogs.#i want to make 2k posts about the thematic significance of gojo being a bottom. i wanna post 30 gojo images in the same post#i love having a desktop theme!! i love being able to change my blog's colors and everything. i love the countless post editing abilities.#I LOVE!!!!! THE TAGGING SYSTEM!!!!!!!!!!#i know a lot of people say that tumblr search doesn't work and while i do think it has its issues i think t's a sentiment born of not reall#understanding how it works. bc if u do. it's so easy to find what u're looking for#i guess the little issues earlier today made me realize that uh. yeah this site might actually be dying#and that fuck i should really export my blog OTL#but from what ive seen the export will take. a while.#and also think of where to go but.....nothing is tumblr 😭

i get emphasizing that gojo felt alone for the majority of the series is right and is one of the things that makes his character so sad and tragic to think about, but saying that nobody genuinely enjoyed his company when there's scenes & manga panels that say otherwise is, did we watch + read the same manga/show right now? 🤨

feel so validated it was confirmed gojo killed the higher ups because I loved the page turner shock in chapter 223 of seeing the higher ups slaughtered after Gojo lightly talking to Gakuganji

On the one hand, I don't believe Megumi and Gojo were ever too close, even if their apparent closeness called my attention since their first scene together because of the way they behaved and talked to each other.
On the other hand, Megumi was a fifteen years old with a lot of problems, a pretty bad childhood and a bit of an attitude to say the least, and Gojo, besides Tsumiki, was the "paternal" figure he could turn against
#In his 'you're nothing of mine!' phase is what I'm saying haha#I mean he sort of did that with Tsumiki already and then regretted it when it was too late#I know he doesn't speak to Gojo using the language structure that showcases closeness#But I find it so clear in their dynamic despite how little it is developed. How Megumi comments about slapping him on the very first chapte#Gojo taking pictures of Megumi because he look terribly worn down. Gojo and Megumi knowing each other‚ truly‚#their personalities and how they deal with stuff‚ before Megumi truly begun his studies in Jujutsu High at the very beginning#Megumi making that comment about how Ijichi is useless to make him leave as Gojo did#How they train together. How Megumi asked. How Gojo knows Megumi doesn't like asking him. How Gojo knows Megumi's mind#and what happens behind his decision making and how that's linked to his personality and way of seeing life#How he warns him and advices him in that very context. How that saves his life#but how also that is kinda in a way what Gojo does at the very end. The letter. The laughter. Megumi's soft smile alongside Shoko#It's not much. They didn't have a super close bond and it wasn't a dynamic the writer developed much at all#not even the 'not close' aspect of it#But yet it's there nonetheless. The clues that they knew each other first and knew each other for years and thus *knew* each other#And the fondness#So yeah I don't think they had the closest bond at all but also Megumi enhancing that they don't talking to Gojo in a distant way#because he's going through that 'you're nothing of mine/you're not my dad!' phase and thus ironically demonstrating they are indeed close#is such a funny idea to me and the fact it's sort of canon-compliant#(given his personality the traces of their closeness and the Tsumiki situation) makes it all the more hilarious xD#They're everything to me and could have been even more had they been developed a bit more. Even if just in their nothingness#But wow is their relationship juicy and interesting#I talk too much#I should probably delete this later#Ignore the typos I'm feeling lazy
