METEOR GARDEN (2018 CHINESE ADAPTATION)
So the ending was Dong Shancai (SHEN YUE) was told by Ximen (CEASAR WU) that she rejected Daoming Si (DYLAN WANG) and he moved to London.
Then Daoming Si appeared making the same demands of when they met. Shancai denied him and he left. Then Daoming Zhaung (HSU DEE) appeared with two backup dancers and danced to the song RIVER (by BISHOP BRIGGS aka SARAH MCLAUGHLIN) which is a popular song in the states at that time.
She then tried to summon Daoming Si but instead got Hauze Lei (DARREN CHEN) Ximen (CEASAR WU) and Meizuo (LEON LEONG) having to choose one of them to marry. They all make their pitch.
After she turns them all down they summon Daoming Si who appears with every other guy that fell for our heroine Shancai including her best friend Qing He (LIN YIN HAO) Thomas (BLAKE ABBIE) and Tian Ye (WANG RUN ZE)
They were married by Daoming Si's sister without Shancai's parents or Daoming Si's evil mother who by this point wasn't trying to stop them in attendance. But the two mean girls that sent Shancai into a blizzard were there. But like @pose4photoml said...they got their happy ending.

𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐈 𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐘𝐎𝐔; min ho
summary: in this intense romance, y/n and min ho, both struggling with fear and hesitation, confront their undeniable chemistry in a private moment that leads to a passionate kiss, marking the beginning of an emotionally charged relationship as they finally embrace what they’ve both been too afraid to admit. (pt. 2 to roses)
warnings: mention of making out
word count: 2120
AS YOU WATCHED MIN HO WALK OUT YOU HAD ONE OF TWO DECISIONS TO MAKE !
you weren't going to let him walk away this time.
the second min ho stepped out of the dorm, you were already on your feet, heart pounding in your chest.
before you could even second-guess yourself, you were chasing after him.
he felt it.
you knew he did.
and if you didn't confront it now, it was going to drive you mad.
"min ho," you called out.
he didn't stop.
you quickened your pace, frustration creeping in. "min ho—"
"go back inside, y/n." his voice was cold, clipped, nothing like it had been just minutes ago.
no.
you weren't going to let him shut down on you.
you grabbed his wrist, gripping it tightly. "no."
he turned to face you, his expression unreadable. "what?"
you glanced around, heart pounding in your ears.
the hallway was too open, too exposed. anyone could hear you, and you needed privacy.
without thinking, you yanked him toward the nearest supply closet, flinging the door open and shoving him inside.
"y/n—"
before he could protest, you slipped in after him and slammed the door shut.
darkness.
the only light was a faint sliver from the hallway, barely illuminating the cramped space. shelves lined one wall, stocked with blankets and cleaning supplies.
it was too intimate, too close—but you didn't care.
min ho exhaled sharply, leaning back against the door. "are you serious?"
"yes," you snapped, your chest heaving. "because we need to talk."
"there's nothing to talk about." his voice was forced, his body tense.
you stepped closer, the confined space leaving barely any room between you. "bullshit."
min ho inhaled sharply as you moved into his space, your chin tilting up to glare at him.
his adam's apple bobbed, lips parted as if he was about to say something—before they pressed into a firm line.
"you don't get to just say all that," you continued, your voice trembling slightly, "and then walk away."
his jaw clenched. "i didn't leave—"
"yes, you did!" your frustration boiled over. "you dropped that confession like a bomb, and then walked away like it meant nothing."
his eyes darkened. "isn't that what you wanted?"
you froze.
min ho let out a humorless laugh. "you weren't exactly jumping at the chance to say anything back, y/n."
you swallowed hard, pulse racing. "because i—i didn't know what to say."
min ho scoffed, shaking his head. "right."
you wanted to hit him. or kiss him. or both.
instead, you shoved at his chest, frustration burning through you. "you can't just drop something like that on me, min ho! you can't look at me like that and—"
"like what?" he challenged, stepping forward.
you instinctively backed up, the shelves pressing against your back.
min ho moved closer, his hands bracing against the wood on either side of your head, trapping you in.
your breath caught.
"like what, y/n?" his voice dropped, rough and dangerous. his scent—clean, warm, unmistakably him—wrapped around you, clouding your thoughts.
you swallowed hard, fingers trembling. "like—like you want me."
his lips parted, a sharp inhale escaping him.
then, ever so slightly, he leaned in.
"maybe that's because i do."
your entire body locked up.
min ho's gaze flickered to your lips, lingering there for a heartbeat too long.
the air between you was charged, thick with something neither of you could fight anymore.
you exhaled shakily, every nerve in your body heightened by how close he was, how easily he could close the space between you.
"say something," he murmured. his voice was softer now, almost vulnerable.
you licked your lips, heart racing. "i don't know how."
min ho's brows furrowed, his breath uneven. "then tell me to leave."
your hands clenched into fists.
"tell me you don't want this," he challenged, lips barely an inch from yours. "tell me, and i swear i'll go."
but you couldn't.
because it would be a lie.
and from the way min ho's expression shifted—the way his eyes searched yours, desperate, hopeful—he already knew.
you sucked in a shaky breath, your chest rising and falling rapidly. "min ho..."
his fingers twitched against the shelf, like he was using every ounce of restraint not to touch you. "tell me, y/n."
instead, you reached for him.
fingers curling into his hoodie, your voice barely a whisper.
"don't go."
min ho let out a shaky exhale—and then he moved.
one moment, you were standing there, every nerve in your body on edge, and the next—
his hands cupped your face, warm and firm, tilting your head up. his lips hovered over yours, so close you could feel his breath ghosting over your skin.
but he didn't kiss you.
not yet.
instead, he rested his forehead against yours, fingers tightening around your jaw like he was still waiting for permission, still waiting for you.
your breath stuttered.
your hands fisted into his hoodie, grounding yourself, confirming he was real.
"are you going to run away again?" you whispered, voice barely steady.
min ho let out a breathless laugh, his thumb brushing against your cheek, sending a shiver down your spine.
"not a chance."
and then—finally—he kissed you.
the kiss was everything and nothing like you expected.
min ho's lips were soft, but his kiss wasn't. it was desperate, like he'd been holding this in for far too long, like he was afraid you'd slip through his fingers if he didn't act now.
your hands tightened in his hoodie, your body instinctively pressing into his. he let out a frustrated exhale against your lips—like he wanted more but was holding himself back.
the tension snapped.
but just as quickly as it started, you pulled away.
your chest heaved, lips tingling, your heart a mess.
min ho's eyes were heavy-lidded, his breathing ragged as he stared at you like you'd just turned his world upside down.
maybe you had.
you swallowed, voice barely a whisper. "we... shouldn't have done that."
min ho's expression flickered—just a moment, just enough for you to notice—before his usual mask slipped back into place.
"right," he muttered, stepping back, jaw tightening. "of course."
your stomach twisted.
you didn't mean it.
not really.
but panic surged through you.
this was min ho—the same min ho who had spent months teasing you, acting like you were just a nuisance in his life.
now he was kissing you like he needed you?
it didn't make sense.
min ho scoffed, shaking his head. "i should've seen this coming."
your eyes snapped to him, heart still racing. "what the hell does that mean?"
"it means," he said, voice sharp, "that i was dumb enough to think—maybe—you felt the same way."
his words knocked the air from your lungs.
you opened your mouth, but no sound came out.
wasn't that the problem? that you did feel the same way? that you didn't know what to do with it?
"i—"
min ho scoffed again. "save it, y/n."
he turned for the door, reaching for the handle.
panic surged through you. "wait—"
min ho froze, his back still to you.
you inhaled sharply. "you can't just... walk away."
"why not?" his voice was cold now, distant, the exact opposite of the min ho who had held you like you were fragile just moments ago.
you hesitated. "because i—"
you what?
liked him? wanted him? needed him?
min ho exhaled sharply. "that's what i thought."
and then he was gone, slipping through the door, leaving you standing in the cramped closet, your heart still thundering.
the second min ho walked out, something inside you snapped.
you couldn't let him leave. not like this.
your heart was still racing, your lips still tingling from his kiss, his touch, the way he'd held you like you mattered. now, because of your own fear, he was walking away.
before you could talk yourself out of it, you blurted it out.
"i want you."
min ho froze.
the words hung in the air, heavy and irreversible.
seconds felt like hours.
slowly, min ho turned.
his expression was unreadable, lips parted, eyes locking onto yours with a intensity that sent a shiver down your spine.
"what did you say?" his voice was barely a whisper, unsure if he'd imagined it.
your throat went dry.
but you couldn't back down now.
"i want you, min ho."
something flickered in his expression—dangerous, unguarded.
min ho sucked in a slow breath, stepping forward, and suddenly the distance between you disappeared.
"say it again," he murmured, voice rougher.
you swallowed, your chest tight, aware of how close he was. "i want you, min ho moon."
min ho's jaw tightened, fingers twitching like he was fighting the urge to pull you into him. "then why the hell did you act like you didn't?"
you exhaled shakily. "because i was scared."
his eyes darkened. "of what?"
"of this." you gestured between you, frustration creeping into your voice. "of us. of what it means."
min ho let out a bitter laugh. "you think i'm not scared?"
you blinked.
he ran a hand through his hair, exhaling. "you drive me insane, y/n. i've spent so much time pretending i didn't care, pushing it down... but it never stops. i see you, and suddenly, i can't think straight."
your breath hitched.
min ho stepped closer, voice quieter, more vulnerable. "so yeah, i'm scared, too. but the difference is—i want this. i want you. if you feel the same way, you need to stop running."
your heart pounded.
because he was right.
you'd spent so much time fighting this, fighting him, when the truth had been staring you in the face all along.
you didn't just want min ho.
you needed him.
so, finally, you stopped thinking.
you grabbed his hoodie, pulled him down, and kissed him like your life depended on it.
min ho let out a sharp breath, surprised, but the moment your lips met his, all hesitation vanished.
his hands immediately found your waist, pulling you closer like he couldn't bear the distance between you.
the kiss was desperate, frantic, like he was trying to make up for lost time.
his fingers curled into your shirt as if needing something to hold onto.
when you pulled away, breathless and lightheaded, min ho rested his forehead against yours.
"say it one more time," he murmured, voice low and wrecked.
you smiled, hands still gripping his hoodie.
"i want you."
and this time, there was no hesitation.
the world outside that closet didn't matter anymore.
it was only min ho, and only you.
your heart still raced, every nerve alive with anticipation.
his fingers tangled in your shirt, pulling you closer, and for the first time, you weren't scared. you weren't questioning yourself.
this was real.
this was happening.
min ho's lips were on yours again, deeper this time, urgent, like you were both absorbing every ounce of this moment you'd both been too afraid to face.
his mouth moved against yours with a raw, desperate hunger.
and you kissed him back just as fiercely, hands trailing up to his neck, pulling him closer, feeling the heat of his body against yours.
his hands slipped under your shirt, caressing your bare skin, sending shivers down your spine.
you gasped into the kiss, your stomach flipping with every touch.
min ho deepened the kiss, his tongue brushing against yours, asking for permission you didn't hesitate to give.
you opened up to him, and the moment his tongue met yours, everything else disappeared.
it was just him.
just you.
he pulled you into him, backing you against the shelves, trapping you between the cold wood and his warmth. his hands gripped your hips, lifting you, pressing you against him, like he couldn't get close enough.
his lips trailed down your neck, and you gasped softly, tilting your head back as his kisses marked your skin.
"min ho..." you whispered his name like a prayer, tugging him back to your lips.
the kiss deepened, more frantic, desperate, because you both knew this moment would change everything.
you felt his heart pounding against yours, felt how desperately you both needed this.
finally, when you pulled apart, breathless and dazed, min ho pressed his forehead against yours, his hand cupping your cheek, as if to reassure himself this was real.
"be mine, y/n," he murmured, voice rough. "i don’t want to let you go."
you smiled. "you’re mine."
and with that, words no longer mattered.
you both knew what came next.
“happy valentine’s.” you whispered to min ho before going back into his dorm to talk to kitty.

Chapter 3: The First Date
Sunday arrived far too quickly for Y/N’s liking. She’d spent the better part of the morning pacing around her dorm room, second-guessing her outfit for what Minho had so helpfully dubbed their “first date.”
“I can’t believe I agreed to this,” Y/N muttered, staring at herself in the mirror. She’d settled on a simple yet cute outfit: a cream cardigan over a fitted tank top, high-waisted jeans, and white sneakers. It was casual enough not to scream “I’m trying too hard,” but still flattering enough to fit the fake girlfriend image.
Her roommate, Hana, raised an eyebrow from her bed. “You’re talking to yourself again. What’s the big deal? It’s just Minho.”
“Exactly,” Y/N said, throwing her hands in the air. “It’s Minho! The most insufferable guy at KISS. And now I have to spend the entire afternoon pretending I don’t want to strangle him.”
Hana smirked. “You’ll survive. Besides, isn’t he, like, ridiculously hot?”
“Hotness doesn’t make up for his personality,” Y/N retorted, grabbing her bag. “Wish me luck. Or don’t. I’m doomed either way.”
Minho was already waiting for her at the park, leaning casually against a bench like he’d just stepped out of a photoshoot. He was wearing a black turtleneck, tailored jeans, and a designer jacket, his hair perfectly styled.
Y/N approached him with a sigh. “You’re overdressed. This isn’t a K-drama.”
“And you’re underdressed,” he shot back, smirking. “This is supposed to be a date, Y/N. Put some effort in.”
“I look fine,” she said, crossing her arms. “Let’s just get this over with.”
“Wow, your enthusiasm is overwhelming,” Minho said, rolling his eyes. “Come on, we’re going for a walk.”
The two of them strolled through the park, trying to look like a couple while keeping as much distance between them as possible. Minho, apparently noticing the gap, grabbed her hand without warning.
“What are you doing?” Y/N hissed, yanking her hand back.
“People are watching,” he said simply, nodding toward a group of students from KISS sitting nearby. “You want them to believe us, right?”
Reluctantly, Y/N let him take her hand again. “This is the worst idea ever.”
Minho grinned. “You say that now, but by the end of the day, you’ll be thanking me.”
After walking for a while, Minho led her to an ice cream stand.
“I’ll take vanilla,” he told the vendor, then glanced at Y/N. “What about you?”
“Chocolate,” she said.
Minho paid for both, handing her the chocolate cone. “See? I’m a great fake boyfriend. Generous and thoughtful.”
“You’re literally just doing the bare minimum,” Y/N replied, taking a bite of her ice cream.
“Details,” he said with a shrug.
As they sat down on a nearby bench, a little girl walked up to them, staring at Minho with wide eyes.
“Are you a model?” she asked shyly.
Minho beamed. “Why, yes, I am.”
Y/N burst out laughing. “Oh my god, you’re ridiculous.”
“What?” Minho said defensively. “She asked!”
The girl giggled, then ran back to her parents, leaving Minho looking oddly pleased with himself.
“You really can’t help yourself, can you?” Y/N said, shaking her head.
“I’m just giving the people what they want,” he replied, flashing her a wink.
As they continued their “date,” Y/N couldn’t help but notice how many KISS students they kept running into. It was almost suspicious.
“Did you tell the entire school to hang out here today?” she asked as another group of students waved at them.
“Of course not,” Minho said innocently. “But if people happen to see us together, who am I to stop them?”
Y/N rolled her eyes. “You’re unbelievable.”
“Unbelievably charming,” he corrected.
She ignored him, but when they passed Alex and his new girlfriend, her heart skipped a beat. Alex froze when he saw them, his expression shifting from surprise to something that looked suspiciously like jealousy.
“Y/N?” Alex said, his tone laced with disbelief.
“Alex,” she replied coolly, tightening her grip on Minho’s hand.
Minho, ever the opportunist, pulled her closer, slipping an arm around her waist. “Hey, man,” he said casually. “You doing okay?”
Alex’s jaw tightened. “Fine. You two are…together?”
“Yep,” Minho said, smirking. “Crazy, right? Guess we were meant to be.”
Y/N resisted the urge to roll her eyes. “Well, we should get going. See you around.”
As they walked away, she glanced back to see Alex watching them, his expression unreadable.
“You’re welcome,” Minho whispered, clearly pleased with himself.
“For what?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“For making your ex jealous, obviously,” he said. “Did you see his face? Priceless.”
“Don’t get cocky,” Y/N muttered, but she couldn’t deny that it felt oddly satisfying.
Later that evening, after their “date” was officially over, Y/N found herself sitting on the steps of her dorm, reflecting on the day.
To her surprise, Minho appeared, holding two cans of soda.
“What are you doing here?” she asked.
“Thought you might want a drink,” he said, handing her a can.
She took it, eyeing him suspiciously. “What’s the catch?”
“No catch,” he said, sitting down beside her. “I’m just being nice. Shocking, I know.”
Y/N snorted. “You, nice? That’s a first.”
“Hey, I can be nice when I want to be,” he said, opening his can.
They sat in silence for a moment, the awkwardness of the day fading into something almost comfortable.
“Do you think this is actually going to work?” Y/N asked finally.
Minho glanced at her, his expression uncharacteristically serious. “Yeah, I do. But only if we’re both all in.”
“All in,” she repeated, nodding slowly. “Okay.”
He smirked, his usual cockiness returning. “Just don’t fall for me, darling.”
Y/N laughed, shaking her head. “Don’t worry. That’s not going to happen.”
But as she looked at him, she couldn’t help but wonder if she’d just made a promise she couldn’t keep.

Min Ho x reader
No pronouns just you is used, friends to lovers

Another stressful week at attending KISS finally passed with practically your whole life revolving fully around the school. You decided you needed a hobby to take the stress off the heavy workflow. After asking one of your friends, Q, about fun activities that could help with stress and take your mind off of school he started gushing about his outdoor club and hiking saying, “joinmyclubandyourelifewillchangeinwaysyouneverthoughtof!” Or at least that's what you thought he said.
Getting up from your bed you grabbed some clothing you had picked out the night before on your chair and went to the bathroom to get ready not wanting your roommate's new boyfriend to see you changing, again.
Finishing in the bathroom you finished your morning routine and put the athletic clothing on. A light smile to your face looking at it remembering what Min Ho had told you when you went shopping.
Another gasp escaped his throat. At this point, you thought he was just trying to not go back to his dorm room. “What it that y/n! You look like a smurf who got drowned in hair dye! Do you have anything good in there?” His voice was harsh but laced with a teasing hint. You knew he didn't want you to look like, “a smurf who got drowned in tye die,” but it had been two hours of this and you think one of the employees is praying you two get hit by a truck on your way out from the pile of clothes you're going to leave.
He barged his way into the changing room and you gasped, “Hey, my bras on the floor-”
“So? Were friends aren't we?” He responded casually while digging around all the stores' clothes you had picked out for a hike. You scoffed and knew fighting wasn't going to work with him.
Min Ho dug around everything you pulled out scoffing and gasping at the endless amount of “worthless” clothes as he put it. “Wait here, you don't know what looks good on you.” He left as quickly as he entered and after two minutes of finding your bra and underwear hiding under the clothing you had been wearing he returned. “This. Then someone might notice you chon-nom.” He draped the top over your face and grabbed your hand to place the shorts on them. “And this jacket.” He grabbed one of the jackets and handed it to you again. The top on your face slowly fell off your face to reveal your face with an arched brow. Min Ho mimicked the face with crossed arms jokingly. “What?”
“Leave.”
“Why.”
“Because I'm getting changed.”
“That's not an excuse y/n.”
In the end, you had bought the outfit and it honestly was better than anything you could have picked out, but you would never let him know that. You looked in the mirror cupping your butt in the tight fabric of your shorts in your hands with a worried look. You did lightly regret letting him pick the shorts even asking if there were pants but he just said they were, “out of the stalk.”
Leaving the bathroom with the jacket placed around your waist you quickly said goodbye to her and her boyfriend of the week.
“Hey, Q!” You waved, lightly jogging to him and doing some warm-up stretches in the grass.
“Y/n!” He smiled with a small wave back. “Don't waste all your energy yet,” he teased.
“I would never.”
The trail was honestly beautiful, you had never seen anything like it. The clouds might have still been in the sky with the blue sky peeking out and a light mist covering the mountain path but it only added to the comfort of the walk. You stopped to look at the view of the school and took an inhale, your senses overflowing. The smell of the old bark of the trees with some water slowly dripping down its leaves, the still wet dirt that had a hint of mushiness but you still wouldn't call it mud, the smell of fog and damp grass. Your school work and family life had disappeared in the environment. Q was right when he told you it could change your life.
“Hey y/n, keep up” He turned back to look at you but a small smile stretched on his lips. “You like the view?”
“Is it always like this?” You turned to ask him.
“Most of the time. You never really get used to it.” He turned to look back at the city and his shoulders untensed.
“We should do this more.” You made your way over to him but a light scream from you made Q’s eye widen when he saw you take a step back and your footing get loose when a small animal ran past your legs.
“Y/n!” He tried to reach out for you but your body hit the floor and you muffled out another scream when your body rolled a few times. Luckily you were able to stop yourself from falling down the hill anymore but your body with filled with scratches and bruises. Some blood coated your arms and you winced bringing up your hands to look at them. They shook with cuts on the palm and fingers.
“Y/n! Are you alright!” He ran over to you and immediately grabbed you by the arm hoisting you up and over his shoulder. “Shit.”
“Y-yeah I’m fine.” You brought your arms to his shoulders to lightly slap him. “Let’s continue the hike.”
“What? No. You got hurt.”
“No, I'm fine. Just a little cut.”
“A little?” His voice got harsh and he repositioned you on his back. “We’re going back to my place. You can't keep walking you’ll open more wounds.”
“Q, I'm fine!”
“You're going to have to amputate your leg!”
“I’m fine!” You slapped his shoulder again. The two of you slowly made your way down the hill wobbling from side to side at times. You both got to his side of the dorm and he got out his key.
“Min Ho’s going to kill me,” he muttered under his breath almost going unnoticed by you. He finally opened the door and closed it, walking over and setting you down on the couch.
“Stay here, I’ll get the med kit,” Q tells you leaving for the bathroom.
“You have a med kit?” You ask laughing. You slowly relax on the couch and feel your body melt into the cushions until a loud voice interrupts you.
“WHAT! YOU LET WHAT HAPPEN TO HER?!” Min Ho’s voice echoed through the living room not even for a second before Q fought back.
“She’s not a kid Min Ho! She just fell!”
“And you didn't catch her?!”
“She was a few feet away!”
“You shouldn't have let her go with you in the first place!”
More incoherent yells left the bathroom until you hear Q barge the door open and throw the first aid kit at Min Ho’s chest. He didn't look at you as he stomped down to the front door opening and slamming it. The apartment was quiet as you sat on the couch. Min Ho’s sigh caught you off guard and you whip around to see him a few feet behind you.
“What happened?” You ask with a meek voice not wanting to sour the mood more.
“Don't worry about it,” he spat before widening his eyes. “Bastard.” He cupped your face and rubbed light circles on your cheek with his thumb. His eyes scanned your features and some of the cuts on them, his eyes darting to your lips before he stood up stiffly. “Let's go to my room.”
“What?”
“You. Me. My room.” He turned around a hand on the doorknob of his room. “Come here.”
You stay still looking at him.
“I’m not going to hurt you,” he laughs. “Now, come here, idiot.” He enters his room and looks at you like a kicked puppy.
You sigh getting up trying not to wince at the pain shooting through your legs. He dramatically sighed and placed a hand on his hip, watching you patiently. “I'm not waiting here all day,” he groaned.
Your head snapped up to meet his annoyed face with an equally mad one. You couldn't help but slowly relax your face and bite your lip trying not to smile at him.
Finally walking over to him he places a hand on your shoulder but quickly takes it off when you flinch from his touch. Silently cursing yourself you look at him with apologetic eyes and he slowly places a delicate hand back on your shoulder guiding you to his bed.
He sits you down on the edge of the bed as he kneels down face to face with your scratted legs. He opens the med kit and puts some rubbing alcohol on a cotton swab. Gently grabbing your ankle with the pads of his fingers treating you as if you were made of the finest china.
He places a cotton swab on a cut making sure to not hurt you but when you wince his grip on your ankle tightens.
“How could Q-” He grits, clenching his teeth.
“It’s not his fault it's mine.” You quickly cut him off not liking wanting him to fight with his friend any longer.
“But you still!” He groaned and dragged a hand down his face not wanting to get mad at you or his friend.
“Just please let it go Min Ho. It’s my fault.” You say regretfully and place your hand on his cheek almost like a lover more than a friend. It almost feels like he leans into your touch but you immediately finch it back and grab your hand.
His eyes almost look sad before he scoffs. “Don’t go treating me like a roach y/n.”
“R-right.” You curse yourself for stuttering in front of him. There's no reason to have your cheeks heat up at him. You’ve known him since the beginning of KISS. He’s helped you study, and pick beauty products, and skincare. You’ve laughed with him, cried, felt real emotions with him. He’s made your self-confidence skyrocket and almost made you a completely different person. A person you wanted to be. Min Ho was your best friend. Right?
He shook his head and went back to placing the rubbing alcohol swab back on your cuts. It was completely silent except for the rapid beats of your heart you prayed he couldn't hear.
He slowly leans up once he's done and you come face to face. Only now did you realize how close he was. The almost nonexistent pours along his noes. The smell of his perfect conditioner and cologne. The soft breath fanning across your cheeks would make you push away anyone if it wasn't him.
“Min-”
“Don’t,” he said barely audible. His eyes darted down to your lips but quickly shot up to your eyes. The both of you slowly leaned in your eyes fluttering close and your lips lightly puckering. Your senses were overloaded when you left the softest lips on you. Your hands remained on the sheets not wanting to grab him and you softly pushed back against him your lips relaxing into the warmth of his own. He released a low groan and pushed back regretfully wanting to cherish the moment longer.
“I thought you liked Madison,” you panted out from doing almost nothing.
“Why would I? She’s, not you.”

BOYS OVER FLOWERS (2009, SOUTH KOREA ADAPTATION)
The first F4 Walk Lead By Leader Gu Jun-Pyo (LEE MIN-HO) also violin playing hottie Yoon Ji Hoo (KIM HYUN JOONG) rounding out the wealthy sons of Korea's elite is So Yi Jung (KIM BUM) and Song Woo Bin (KIM JOON).
In this version pretty much every time the Flower FOUR appeared together they drew quite a crowd. Well in every version but here it seemed more prevalent.
As you can see Guem Jan Di (GU HYE SEON) was also looking but her eyes were on Yoon Ji Hoon until Gu Jun-Pyo showed his privilege.

is lee min-ho a good actor? (in pachinko and gangnam blues he is) that is immaterial. does he unleash the pretty yearning stare on whoever is in front of him while the most bonkers plot on earth is happening? if the answer is yes, i will be tuning in.
#as we know i also love the train wreck that is tkem AND loved his character in it lmao#all i see about wtsg is the same level of completely bonkers. i feel like he's got a knack for cooky dramas#lee min ho#when the stars gossip#the king: eternal monarch

Lee Joon Hyuk saying Yu Eun Ho as a character loses his main character position by episode 2 makes sense.
Because it is now Kang Ji Yun's story. He is the main supporting character in her life now. The show has been entirely from her pov basically.
This also adds sense to the plot of him being the one her father saved. She needed the closure. She needed love to bring light to her life. Her saying she hated her life before Eun Ho and now loves her life and knows she is not alone. That's her perfect secretary and how she found him.
Also this doesn't actually mean Eun Ho loses his personality. He's the same. We just don't get to know his whole story like Ji Yun.
#love scout#kang ji yun#yu eun ho#han ji min#lee joon hyuk#that was a very different perspective#I get his way of thinking#but it wouldn't be the same without the gentleness of Eun Ho#and he does it beautifully

The gym was filled with the sharp sounds of sneakers squeaking against the polished wooden floors, the cheers from the bleachers, and the high-pitched whistle of the referee as the game reached its final moments. It was the championship match for KISS’s volleyball team, and Y/N was in the middle of it all, focused, determined, her heart beating in sync with the rhythm of the game.
The crowd was on their feet, the excitement palpable. It had been a long season, and Y/N had pushed herself through everything—late-night practices, tough workouts, and endless drills. But this game… this game was different. The stakes were higher. The championship was within their grasp, and she wasn’t about to let anything—or anyone—get in her way.
The ball came flying at her from the other side of the court, fast and sharp. She jumped to intercept it, her eyes locked on the target. For a split second, time seemed to slow as she made contact, sending the ball soaring toward the opposing team. But as she came down, her foot landed awkwardly, and a sharp pain shot through her ankle.
She gasped, her body teetering for a moment before she collapsed to the floor. The gymnasium fell silent, the cheers fading into a distant hum as everyone turned to see what had happened.
“Y/N!”
It was Minho’s voice, unmistakable, filled with panic. He was already off the bleachers and sprinting toward her before anyone else could react.
Y/N gritted her teeth, clutching her ankle as she tried to push herself up. But the pain was too much—her vision blurred for a moment, and she collapsed back onto the floor.
“Y/N!” Minho shouted again, reaching her side. His face was a mask of concern, his usual confident smile gone, replaced with worry. He knelt beside her, taking her hand gently. “What happened? Are you okay?”
“I—I’m fine,” Y/N winced, biting her lip as she tried to shift her weight, but the throbbing in her ankle was unbearable. “I just… I think I twisted it.”
Minho’s expression darkened, his brows furrowing. “You need to get checked out. I’m not letting you walk this off.”
“Minho, it’s fine,” she protested weakly, but the pain in her ankle spoke louder than any words she could muster.
Before she could argue further, the team’s coach and a few teammates had arrived, kneeling down beside her. “Y/N, don’t move. We’re going to get you to the sidelines,” the coach said, her voice firm but caring.
With Minho’s help, Y/N was carefully lifted and guided off the court, her breath coming in short, sharp gasps as each step jostled her injured foot. Her mind raced, but all she could think about was the overwhelming pain in her ankle and the sting of disappointment that she wouldn’t be able to finish the game.
“You’ll be okay,” Minho said softly, his voice low and comforting. He stayed by her side, never letting go of her hand as they made their way to the sidelines.
The rest of the game seemed like a blur. The sounds of the match faded as Y/N’s focus remained on the injury. She could hear the crowd, but it felt distant—like she was in her own world.
Her teammates were doing their best to play without her, but Y/N couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt. She had worked so hard for this moment. The championship… and now she was on the sidelines, injured, unable to help.
Minho stayed with her through the entire ordeal, refusing to leave her side. He offered comfort, making her laugh even when she felt like she might cry. The game was over, and although KISS’s volleyball team won, Y/N’s joy was overshadowed by the pain in her ankle.
Later that evening, after the game had ended, Minho drove Y/N to the hospital. The ride was quiet, aside from Y/N’s occasional wince and the soft hum of the car’s engine. Minho kept glancing at her, his face tense with concern.
“You don’t have to come with me, you know,” Y/N said after a while, her voice quiet. “I’ll be fine.”
Minho didn’t respond right away. Instead, he reached over and gently squeezed her hand. “I know. But I’m not leaving you alone, Y/N. You mean too much to me.”
Her heart skipped a beat at his words. It was the way he said it, so sure, so certain. She had known it for a while now—she had always known—but hearing him say it out loud, in this moment, made everything feel real.
When they arrived at the hospital, Y/N was quickly assessed by a doctor, who confirmed that she had sprained her ankle and would need to wear a walking boot for at least a few weeks. She also had to use crutches to help her get around, which, for someone as active as Y/N, felt like a huge blow.
The doctor gave her a prescription for pain relief, and after some paperwork, they were free to go.
Minho helped her into the car, being extra careful with her injured foot. As they drove back to campus, he kept his eyes on the road, but his mind was clearly on Y/N.
“You’re going to be okay,” Minho said again, his tone almost as if he was reassuring himself.
“I know,” she replied, her voice softer now, a little less defiant than usual. She knew Minho was trying to be strong for her, but she couldn’t deny that she was a little shaken. “I just feel like I let everyone down. I worked so hard for this season, and now I can’t even finish the championship game.”
Minho’s expression softened, and he gently placed his hand on hers, his thumb brushing over her knuckles. “You didn’t let anyone down, Y/N. You’re the heart of the team. You’ve given everything, and that’s what matters. Winning the game is important, but your health is more important. And besides, we all know you’ll be back in action in no time.”
Y/N smiled, grateful for his support. “You’re right. I just… I hate being stuck like this.”
Minho chuckled. “I’ll make sure to spoil you while you’re on crutches. You won’t have to lift a finger.”
Y/N laughed softly. “I think you’re already spoiling me enough as it is.”
Minho grinned, his eyes sparkling. “Good. Because that’s exactly what I plan on doing.”
As they arrived at Y/N’s dorm, Minho helped her out of the car and up to her room. She sat on the bed, and he made sure her foot was propped up properly with pillows before going to grab her crutches.
“You really don’t have to do all of this,” Y/N said, watching as Minho carefully adjusted her crutches, his focus entirely on making sure she was comfortable. “I’m perfectly capable of taking care of myself.”
“I know you are,” Minho said, standing back to admire his work. “But I want to do this. Besides, I’d rather be here taking care of you than sitting on the sidelines.”
Y/N smiled up at him, feeling a rush of affection. “Thanks, Minho. I really appreciate it.”
Minho grinned back, his eyes softening. “Anything for you.”
The days following Y/N’s injury had been a whirlwind of doctors’ appointments, pain management, and trying to get used to navigating campus on crutches with a bulky walking boot on her foot. The first few days had been the toughest—feeling vulnerable and completely out of her element as she limped through the hallways of KISS, trying to keep up with her usual routine while dealing with the discomfort. But what made it bearable was the constant presence of Minho and the rest of her friends, who seemed to make it their personal mission to ensure she didn’t feel alone.
It had become a sort of unspoken routine, really. Minho was always there, waiting for her before class, walking alongside her with a protective arm around her waist, his presence as comforting as a warm blanket on a chilly day. He even carried her backpack, which, despite her protests, he insisted on doing.
“Minho, seriously,” Y/N would say, wincing as she tried to shift her weight on the crutches. “I can carry it myself.”
But Minho would just shoot her a mischievous smile, giving her a wink. “Yeah, sure, with one hand and a crutch? Not happening. Let me do this.”
Y/N had given up after the third day of him insisting, realizing that she might as well let him spoil her a little. After all, it wasn’t every day she had a personal assistant in the form of a cute, caring boyfriend.
The others chipped in too, of course. Kitty, always the optimist, would make sure that every class felt like a mini adventure. “I got your notes for you today, Y/N! And you can totally count on me to run to the vending machine and grab you some snacks. What flavor of chips are you craving?”
Y/N would laugh, her eyes brightening, her heart swelling with gratitude. “You’re a lifesaver, Kitty. Salt and vinegar, please.”
Dae, the ever-enthusiastic presence, would always find a way to make her laugh. He had a knack for getting under her skin, and even with her crutches, Y/N could never stay annoyed at him for long. “You know,” Dae would say with a grin, “you’re gonna be so fit after this. You’ll have biceps bigger than mine from all the crutching around!”
Q would snicker in response, but then reach out to offer her his hand whenever they were walking through busy hallways. “If you need help getting around, you just let me know. I know a shortcut to the cafe that will save you at least five minutes,” Q said, always practical and thoughtful.
And then, of course, there was Yuri, who despite her usual tough exterior, would soften whenever she saw Y/N struggling. “I’ll help you with your homework later, okay?” Yuri offered, her voice calm and caring. “I know you’re not going to ask for help, but I’m here if you need it.”
And Minho… Minho was always there, always hovering just a little bit closer, his concern palpable every time he saw her try to move too fast or push herself too hard. He’d always make sure she didn’t overexert herself, offering to fetch her anything she needed, from coffee to a blanket.
One afternoon, after a particularly exhausting day of classes, Minho walked with her to the bench outside, where they could sit in the sun for a while. The rest of the group had scattered to finish their assignments or hang out with other people, leaving Y/N and Minho alone for the moment.
Y/N lowered herself onto the bench with a relieved sigh, her crutches resting against the side. Minho sat next to her, his body angled so he could face her, his hand immediately reaching for hers.
“You doing okay?” Minho asked, his voice gentle, his gaze soft. There was a warmth in his eyes, a quiet care that made Y/N’s heart flutter.
“I’m fine,” she said, trying to smile, but the exhaustion was evident on her face. “Just… tired. I miss playing volleyball. I hate being stuck like this.”
Minho’s thumb gently stroked over her hand, his touch soothing. “I know. I hate seeing you like this, too. But hey, you’re going to be back on the court before you know it. In the meantime, I’ve got your back.” He paused, then added with a playful smirk, “Literally. I’m carrying everything for you.”
Y/N rolled her eyes, but there was affection in the gesture. “You’re ridiculous, you know that?”
Minho’s expression softened. “But I’m your ridiculous, right?” He grinned, his gaze shifting to the walking boot on her foot. “And, just so you know, I don’t mind being your crutch in more ways than one.”
Y/N laughed softly, her eyes twinkling despite her frustration. “You’re so corny, Minho. But… I guess it’s kind of sweet, huh?”
He leaned closer, his lips brushing the top of her hand, making her heart skip a beat. “I’m serious, Y/N. Whatever you need, I’m here.”
And she knew, in that moment, that Minho truly meant it. He had always been there, standing by her side through thick and thin. It wasn’t just about carrying her backpack or helping her navigate campus on crutches. It was about being her support, her safe place. No matter what came next—no matter how many hurdles she faced—he was there, ready to help her get through it.
Later that evening, as they sat together in the library studying for finals, Minho had a way of keeping her mind off her injury. Every so often, he’d tease her about her “ridiculous crutch muscles,” and it would make her laugh, breaking the tension that had built up in her chest.
It wasn’t just the big things that mattered, but these small moments too. Minho carrying her backpack, holding her hand, offering her help without being asked. And though she was still adjusting to her injury, Y/N realized that sometimes the best kind of support came in the form of laughter, love, and the little things that made the hard days a bit easier.
With Minho by her side—and her incredible friends cheering her on—she knew she’d get through this injury, stronger and more determined than ever. After all, she wasn’t in this alone. And with that thought, her heart swelled, knowing that no matter what, she had a team behind her.
And that was more than enough.
The End.
