Bluepoch gave us the gift of barely-subtext tragic sapphic-centric media do NOT throw that away.
Context regarding PJSK and Undertale under cut.

Project Sekai cast is dominated by female characters but mlm is more popular, meanwhile Undertale has canon wlw rep and oh my god they’re at the bottom. I have nothing against these fandoms or media (I’m literally currently/was in them) but yeah. I just HOPE r99 doesn’t end up in a similar state.
#mochagaming#if r99 ever gets even more popular and people somehow manage to out-yaoi the yuri i may actually buy a gun#‘write more yuri then’ I AM <3 AND LETS KEEP WRITING YURI R99 NATION#this is an irrational fear btw#especially since the fandoms i previously in kept fixating on the men in women-centric media#which is not bad#good for them#but its alienating for me LOL#thankfully rn r99 fandom is still diligent woman appreciators so thanks guys#keep it up#I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST MEN OR MLM#I JUST REALLY NEED THAT SAPPHIC SPOTLIGHT#LET THIS DESPERATE LESBIAN DREAM THAT HER FAV GAME STAYS YURIFUL#(because fandom activity genuinely affects the game itself so…)#reverse 1999#I am not trying to discourage any form of fandom content#But if I see someone complain about ‘lack of men’ in this game I… I genuinely dont know??? what to say???#we dont even have enough lesbian rep. it is always cast aside.#it should be prioritized (by bluepoch) i think#like to charge reblog to cast

Hi!
If it doesn't bother you, may I ask why you don't want to write about Leona anymore?
in the article you wrote ' fandom behavior' It confused me. Can you explain it more clearly? I would like to listen ❤️
Good morning Alice. I announced it on Patreon and I planned to make a small post here. But I’ll use your letter for convenience.
Over the past 5+ years Leona Kingscholar has become an extremely soul sucking character to write in x readers. Due to his popularity; he is tossed around the fandom a lot. I like that he is a popular character. I think that he should be.
But there are also so many issues that has come with that. Leona is heavily sexualized and mischaracterized. With a yume going as far as to call themself ‘Leona’s Snowbunny’ (*a snowbunny is a white woman who only pursues black men and this is often used in a sexual context) I have seen people harassing OC x Canon ships over him, I have seen him getting dumbed down and I have seen his personality get warped until he is just the stereotypical dark skinned savage.
Over the last 5+ years of being in this fandom it has become exhausting. And it has been increasingly embarrassing to partake. Which is why I often keep to myself here. I try not to interact with many new people just because I fear a form of disappointment. If that makes sense?
I get requests for Leona and before I didn’t mind it but the more I look online for Leona content it makes me fear writing him IN CHARACTER. Because he’s so mischaracterized. It makes me fear posting because someone will say ‘this is ooc’ when I have taken voice lines from his cards and moments from the manga and light novel. Leona has become the fandoms micro-aggression and I just dislike it. Maybe this is a non issue but I dislike what I see. And again it’s why I keep to myself. It is just discouraging since he’s popular. And I would like to write for him but it’s gotten so bad that I don’t think I can.
Here is the TLDR because I know most people don’t care about fandom racism. Because I am positive it doesn’t affect most of you;
I will write Leona when I want to. I will not accept commissions or requests for him and any past requests have been deleted. I do apologize for any inconvenience.
#absolute answers.#hello alice#i do feel very strongly about the fandom treatment for leona#but this is just me getting on my soapbox#oh boohoo oh woe is me the only black character got drawn on a leash#im going to freak out about jamil and kalim too but for now ill stick to keeping the leona content scarce here#even jack doesnt get treated like this

welcome to the vortex . . . ☆‧。𖦹°‧★
this blog is best navigated on PC, there are updates in the CURRENT ORBIT & ADMIN subsections of this blogs WEB THEME that can only be viewed on PC. if you must visit on mobile, i try my best to make this a place that's enjoyable to view and be on that way too. i suggest the "Goth/Rave" aesthetic preference if you also prefer an aesthetically tailored scrolling experience. that's how i have my settings, at least: so a lot of things on this blog are formatted according to those preferences.
the #PINNED post before u now is under construction, over time i will make edits and tailor it accordingly but it may look off sometimes. patience, pls. i plead. (ㅅ •᷄ ₃•᷅ ) ⋆。𖦹°⭒˚。⋆
anti-ai in all and every forms. yes that includes chat ai's. i will block immediately. I do not consent to my hard work being inserted to your bullshit regurgitation copyright infringement machine, nor how it pollutes our world. so fuck right off and outta here with all that.
if you make something inspired by my own art or writing, and you post it here, PLEASE TAG ME!! it fuels me. i beg you. feed me seymour.
in re: to my OC's and personal work, you have permission and are always encouraged to send me asks or tag me in any posts/art/whatever that you make about it! when it comes to asks, i may not always answer. but often that gives me a chance to question my own work, and it let's us bask in the glory of figuring stuff out together! i find questions very helpful to my creative process so my ASK / QUERIES & SUBMISSIONS boxes always open for ?'s, gifts, ideas, babbles, requests etc—with anonymous asks/submits allowed. i cannot stress enough how much i am always open to ideas, suggestions, shared interest discussions, fanfic/fanart recommendations, requests, oe even just lil jokes or memes about anything! i will be especially touched and probably jump to reply to things relating to what i'm currently cooking up & sharing, for either fandom or original/personal work
check out my FAQ / TERMS PAGE for a more expansive list of rules/ guidelines. you should check this out before sending asks or submitting content to me, please and thank you!
i have been on tumblr for nearly a decade and a half. i am likely to be older than you. i am also anti-censorship and dead dove friendly, thus making this a trepidatious at best and traumatic at worst space for minors to navigate or frequent. i discourage you from following and interacting out of concern for your own and my welfare. i do my best to vet my followers so if you ignore this rule you will get blocked when i notice it. if you continue to read my work as a minor you do so at your own risk and against my own wishes as an adult author. please do not interact or stay on my blog if you are underaged. it keeps you, me, and everyone else safe.

...and can you believe it somehow there's even more below! Credits and other info is found under the Read More Below 。𖦹°‧⭑.ᐟ ˋ°•*⁀➷ look over it at your leisure & enjoy your stay. ღ
this is meant to be a hub for all my interests, as well as where i post my art, writing, thoughts etc. a more comprehensive tag list, and additional information about me/my work, can be found on the PC/website version of this blog [it's a wip still, but we're getting there! just bare with me, i lost my og blog of 10+ years oTL using this one as a fresh start while i dive back into illustration, creation, and creativity alongside my other work in my daily life ꩜⋆˚࿔] more effective mobile taglist, triggerlist, masterlist, and the following tabs pictured below are ALL COMING SOON ── .✦
in the meantime, below is a summarized list of what you can primarily expect to find or see me posting:
a lot of analysis in the tags
my writing, fanfics, art, OC content, & various TTRPG/DND related things. also my playlists or snippets of song lyrics.
frequent art, both fanart and otherwise and both of my own or other's making

Just some of my usual random babbling.
The only reason I engage in fandom discourse these days is mainly because of being exposed to posts I agree or disagree with and I enjoy writing posts and expressing my thoughts.
I feel pretty content with my speculations and theories and I enjoy posting about them and that what irks some people, I've been noticing that for ages but not my problem really.
I mainly have a problem when some believe other readers that agree with me lack the intelligence or cannot form their thoughts, and while it makes me upset on their behalf but it made me realize that they say this as a way to invalidate the fact that people could form these same thoughts on their own. It's demeaning but who am I talking to?
Despite whatever shitty experiences I had in this fandom, I'll always be grateful for the support system I have around me and the incredibly kind people I had the privilege to befriend and interact with.
The loud minority that are very vocal about their negativity are just an echo compared to the many people that flood me with their kindness. And I can tell a lot of that negativity is a reflection of the person that directs it to another. No matter how you come off or whatever you say, that's an immediate insecure behavior to me. I realized it takes so much for a person to be kind in this fandom lately, because mockery and harassment got people engagement and attention. It validated their behavior to them.
I will say though one of the best things to come out of this shipwar is seeing so many fans commission artists and I love seeing artists thrive. Regardless of the ship, commissions shouldn't be something to mock or discouraged as it supports artists financially.
It's one of these days where I reflect on my own experience in the fandom and want to share some thoughts. It's always good to take a step back to think through what's worth posting about and who to interact with and what to filter out to make sure this fandom remains a safe space. Personally, it's not easy for me since I do have people that go out of their way to check my content even if they're blocked, but that says more about them.
I'm slowly trying to do some sort of fandom detox just to go back to Sarah's books feeling lighter if that makes any sense? There was a lot of nonsense lately that I just want to get the taint of that out of my system.
The plan is to reread Throne of Glass next month (which was supposed to be in April but after the Fairyloot TOG editions drama I lost interest).
I love going back to the books (which I do every year) and it always makes it so clear to me that sometimes there is this very large gap between the canon and the fandom takes. Especially when it comes to the characters and their mischaracterization.
I think that's mainly why I feel content with my thoughts and theories, because no matter how some in the fandom try to make me feel like I'm insane for even entertaining it, I just go back to the books and pick up on author's patterns and clues, which usually leaves a lot of possibilities open for the future and that's the joy of speculation. It's exciting to see what could happen and where the author takes the story in the future.
I am hoping we get something soon about ACOTAR5 I really miss and need the hype.
Thanks for coming to my TedTalk 🥸

hey :) it's very cool that you're making such organized rec lists! you probably don't mean any harm by this but is rating them necessary? by recommending them you are already telling people that you like them, and saying what you enjoyed about them is also great!
but rating fics on a scale from 1-10 and putting your opinions into the general tags/ tagging directly so that the writers that- i'm guessing largely did not ask for your criticism- are very likely to see it creates an uncomfortable atmosphere
i know that at least for me i would not enjoy being putting next to other authors like this, and having a rating put on a fic that i worked hard on and that is therefore probably very dear to me would feel discouraging. many authors on your lists also explicitly state that they are not looking for criticism on a hobby they want to simply enjoy
again, i assume that you mean absolutely no harm and simply want to help others find fics they might enjoy, but this luckily isn't school, we can simply enjoy things without having to grade them
this divide in fandom, where artist are treated like 'content creators' and readers as the 'consumers' is a larger issue that way too often causes artist to lose their joy in being active in fandom.
fan art should be about community, after all we're all just some people with a shared love for our favourite characters
so please, let's share and support the fan fiction ( and fan art in general) we enjoy in a way that doesn't feel like a product review
Hey! :) I just wanted to address this before it becomes something that I never intended/wanted it to become.
In no way, shape, or form am I trying to offend or criticize anyone when I recommend works. My “ghost ratings” are purely my personal preference out of my favorite fics. It is an easier way for me to organize my lists based solely on my personal taste and preferences. The ratings are not meant to be a grading system. They don’t measure the quality, quantity, or even the content of the works. What they show are simply which ones I preferred over others.
I will admit that choosing to add my own personal rating is to let others know which fics were my favorite. But first and foremost the entire point of making these lists is to share the love of these works. I enjoy adding the ratings just to show personal preference. After all, everyone has pieces of writing, fics, or fan art that they prefer over other ones. It’s fun to gush a little extra over the works that you most enjoy!
Again though, it is not meant to be a critique. I am not trying to offer advice or pretend that I could do better. It never crossed my mind that someone would view these recs as a “product review,” and that is my own fault for not thinking it through from that perspective. I don’t view these artists and writers as “content creators” and the readers as “consumers.” We ARE just one community! :)
That all being said, I am deeply sorry if I have offended anyone or crossed a line. I never meant to do that and truly just want to share fics that I enjoy with others. To any writers, artists, and readers that I’ve offended with my ratings, I apologize and I hope you will forgive me.
I have decided that my ratings are not worth the risk of possibly discouraging others. It would break my heart if I knew my recommendations were doing that to others. I will be taking down all my ratings and will not be adding more to any future recs.
Anon thank you for discussing this with me in a kind and helpful manner. And for not assuming that I’m trying to be a jerk and tear others down.
I love you all! I love all of you artists and the love for the fandom that we share! Thank you for bearing with me, and have a great day/night!🫶🏻

hi sweetheart, i was wondering what your take is on the whole "people don't reblog/comment enough" thing is?<3
hi there my lovely! hm, i've been trying to figure out how to phrase my opinion on this, but i think i'm essentially at a middle ground on this topic?
as a reader, i fully understand that there are lots and lots of ways to engage with fanart (whether that is fics, drawings, etc.) and that there are just as many reasons for why people engage with it the way that they do. i don't think readers owe creators anything when they consume their work. and there should be no policing how YOU have fun in fandom and what your boundaries are on interacting with others. any love you want to leave in any form is beautiful and wholly appreciated!
as a writer, i do however also know that people engaging with me about my writing (through comments, reblogs with comments, asks, etc.) means the worldddddd to me and truly does act as a motivator. it's less so about needing compliments and more that i am creating because i LOVE what i write and who i write about and i really do want to talk to you all about it 🤲 it's truly so much fun and keeps the spark of creation alight within me<3 it can be a very saddening and discouraging experience to have a fic you love "perform" poorly in terms of notes, but in my experience that feeling doesn't get any better if i get loads of notes but only 2-3 comments. they keep that spark alive!
tldr; any way of leaving love on a fic is valid and readers don't owe writers reblogs/comments any more than writers owe them content HOWEVER if you want more content to be created, engaging with writers is a fantastic way of motivating them and keep on spreading the love they are putting into the fandom
(if you leave me a like and a follow, i will always always appreciate you. if you leave me a comment or otherwise talk to me about my writing and the fandom, i will remember you and appreciate you.)
#carina chats#and gives their two cents on something#kind of you to ask lovely<33#hope this doesn't seem harsh? because it really is not intended that way#just a lighthearted “do what you please”#while also reminding of the impact a comment can have#the engagement on my last few fics has gone down drastically and the ratio between likes and comments/reblogs with comments has widened#so i feel like this comes at a perfect time i'm a bit lonely in my creations#also please take this as a sign that i am always safe to talk to#one of the manymanymany valid reasons readers have not to engage with the works they read is anxiety#and i know i can't just remove any nerves you have by saying this#but i truly don't bite and you will always be safe with me and on my blog 🫂#anyway big hugs to everyone mwah

It's sad you don't even know the actual definition of proship. If it was just anti harassment then it would be called anti harassment. The point of it is anti censorship in adult fiction.
People aren't specifically uncomfortable about the canon vs non canon debate either. If a guy sees someone posting art of FC getting groped by Eclipse and the op giggling about it, people have a right to complain and be creeped out by it.
ESPECIALLY IN A FRANCHISE AIMED AT KIDS
We LITERALLY had a grown adult preying on minors because they were proship, and then proceeded to groom and take advantage of them willing to make porn.
In a normal fandom that is targeted for adults, for example Game of Thrones, it's not a red flag. You know why? Because minors are discouraged from interacting with adults writing dark fiction. It's adults writing for adults by other adults.
In a fandom that is flooded with teens, and they try to take that same approach? They're automatically set up for predators to come after them. It doesn't matter where or what you're making: if you make taboo shit, you're going to attract taboo people. That's how the internet works.
And by encouraging that shit instead of nipping it in the bud, more and more kids are going to get hurt. There is a reason why proship isn't welcomed and is associated with pedophiles: because a lot (not all) will use it to groom other people. This months incident that blew over is a real life example of that, as horrible as it is.
And it Constantly happens in fandom spaces, especially when it involves children's media. This isn't a one-time fluke or unique. It is history repeating itself over and over again in different clothes.
The proshipping isn't exclusively the problem. The problem is a) it attracts actual predators and MAPs apologist b) more often than not people use it to glorify and normalise topics it shouldn't such as pedophilia and incest c) when it is posted to fandoms with a young majority most people that do find it aren't going to have the reading comprehension to know When dark fiction is being respectful about it's topics d) people are naturally going to be uncomfortable with it and not trust anyone that makes that kind of content
And people are Really hung up on d). Because you know what uncomfortable people do when they have no impulse control? they lash out.
I am, by NO means justifying harassments of any kind. I despise callout posts in any form. I've been a victim of witch-hunting before, where people would go in raids to mass report anyone with "dangerous" disorders. Didn't matter if you actually did anything wrong, if you're a minority you're an easy target, and clout chasers Love easy targets.
It's horrible and traumatic to experience, to live every day knowing that if you get unlucky enough you'll be on the chopping block no matter how much you try to appease the crowd. That there are people that love nothing more than to ruin your life, as if it wasn't fucking bad enough that I live in a sundown town. It's depressing to watch the same people chanting to abolish prisons, and then 5 seconds later devolve into the same mob mentality mindset that caused mass lynchings.
But that's how it is. Like it or not people are going to develop their cliches, and gatekeep, and purity preach. Because society as a whole only sees in black and white. They have to make sure that 'hey followers you're not like that One person, right? you wouldn't betray me like this, right bestie?'
Someone posts pseudo-incest and you mean to tell me you're shocked that people hate it?
People can't even handle furries for fucks sake, and you want them to make an exception for child x adult ???
You're asking a Lot out of a fandom made of people with undeveloped frontal lobes. In an internet era mind you where it's "fun" to tell people to commit suicide for the most mild of grievances (which personally sickens me more than anything else)
You cannot seriously tell me that you're offended that people don't agree with you. Freedom of speech entitles people to saying what they do and don't like. When you post something on the internet you are entitled to your opinion, and so is everyone else that's going to interact with yours. It's not always going to be positive.
Proshipping is always going to have push back because in general it's not socially acceptable. but in fandoms filled with kids it's specifically going to be even more harsh because it's a dangerous breeding ground for grooming.
The reality is that it's not going to be safe for proshippers that're trying to settle down in places full of minors, ever. I'm sorry you're just now finding that out the hard way. Because chances are, especially with the political climate getting even worse, that is not going to change any time soon. People will just double down the worse it gets, this time for all the wrong reasons.
If you want an actal safe place to go, stick to franchises that already deal with those topics in canon, where it's written for mature audiences. Not in a place full of kids and targeted at immature audiences. - ☀🌙

hey! hope you are having a good day! i hope you don't mind me reaching out with a humble request. i am a new part of the spin of fate fandom on tumblr. we are a very small fandom and still new and growing, with very few hashtags and posts. i saw you had a negative review about a dnf on the spin of fate hashtag. this is 100% your prerogative but if possible, do you mind removing the spin of fate hashtag from your review? you don't have to, but it's just kind of discouraging as a new fan to see a negative post in a hashtag that doesn't have much in it to begin with. from what i know, the book is also not doing very well so it is getting very few fans compared to bigger fandoms... though the ones of us that have read it are very intense lovers of the fandom and the pairing, so we feel a bit protective! sorry to bother you with this but if you do decide to remove the hashtag, i know some of us will be very grateful! and if not that is also your choice. thank you!
Hello! This will be a bit of a long reply, so please bear with me.
I write my reviews with the full intent and purpose that they are my opinions and my opinions only. Reading is subjective. Just because I did not enjoy a book does not mean the book was bad, it means that book was not for me.
I looked at my old review for it and I noticed I specifically mention I am a character-driven reader that had lost interest early on because of the POV whiplash I got and then later stated it wasn’t for me.
The tags are there to filter out for that specific content, yes, but I believe it should be for all topics for that content. Aka I am advocating for transparency. I know I personally enjoy looking up tags for books (all spoiler-free) and reading differing perspectives to get an idea if I will like it or not. Sometimes what may come across as a negative review may mention something in the review that the reviewer may not have liked but someone like else may like (e.g. tropes, writing style, plot, etc). Example, I hate the grumpy sunshine trope but I am a sucker for the pregnancy trope.
But… I am genuinely sorry my review comes across as discouraging for the tag. I personally think transparency and any kind of chatter is better for overall growth of the fandom. Especially for smaller, newer fandoms. You want people talking.
I am also completely okay and accepting of anyone who does not want to view my reviews or opinions and chooses to block or mute my opinions on the topic. I think it’s healthy for peace of mind and I would never take it personally for fandom discussions.
That being said, I do want to reiterate that despite my opinions on a single book, my opinion is not fact. The book itself is not a bad book and I genuinely believe the majority of books out there aren’t “bad” books either. I encourage anyone to try and read any of the books I did not like to form their own opinions of them.
And, heck, I am HAPPY when someone likes a book I didn’t like. I don’t like to drop books. I don’t like not liking a book. I want to like all the books I pick up but that’s just not going to happen. To know someone else liked something I did not like makes me feel a little less guilty that I couldn’t get into it.
Anyway, I am rambling. I WILL, however, update my original post with a disclaimer to make it clear these are solidly my opinions written with my own personal preferences in mind, but I will not be removing the tag.
I honestly appreciate the fact that you reached out to me and brought up this topic because of how important I believe in having these discussions both in reading and across fandomships. So for that, I truly want to thank you.
Have a good day and I hope your next reads are just as good for you as Spin of Fate was.

Would you consider Piercifer a rarepair? Do you think there is still an audience for Piercifer fics? I'm getting back into Lucifer after two years and thinking about dusting off some of my WIPs. As the Piercifer expert I thought you might have some thoughts. <3
i will first start with the ending of your message and say thank youuuuu for falling for my branding and i hope that my answer will be satisfactory <3 i am also flattered that you decided to ask me... anything about them as i consider it recompense for the amount of time i spend think about them (24/7) <33333
now let's get to business: it's not that i consider piercifer a rarepair, the fact is that by all logical metrics it *is* a rarepair. and yes, this means that most people do not ship them, or at least not in an enough capacity to actually participate in this subset of the fandom, but that also means that the few people who do ship them love them very very much (hi! it's me! i'm the problem, it's me!).
now here comes the more complicated part, namely whether or not there is an audience for fics (or really any type of content) about them and i have some factors that i need to bring up (which are simply things i have watched happened over the past almost 6 years now) and which are a bit more spread out and refer to both their status as a rarepair and their audience (both some years back and now):
all of their interactions happened in season 3, which aired between autumn 2017 and spring 2018 aka yearsssss ago => no new canon content in years, which means that some people (even people who watched s3 years after it aired) would naturally lose interest because few people can sustain interest in a pair that just has nothing new to talk about and analyse and such
they did not... end things nicely (to put it lightly) in canon and that may also contribute to how people perceive them and their relationship (this one's more of a guess rather than an observation, but it might be worth mentioning)
the show is... finished and it has been finished for 2 years now! even pairings with generous followings saw a decrease in posts in these past two years as all the final season content got done + anything that was just sitting in people's drafts got finished and with no new content it was very easy for people to focus their energy on series that are still on-going. but posts are still made and fics are still written! (on more general things related to this fandom my one and only source is following source blogs here. i am extremely picky about my content for this fandom specifically so i only check the marcus and piercifer tags here and the piercifer tag on ao3. but i do think that source blogs are a decent way to gauge how fandoms are doing.)
they're not actually canon in any way, shape or form. everything is more implied than anything and the things that are outright said throughout the entire show actually discourage people from shipping anything other than the intended canon/endgame pairing and it has worked pretty wonderfully
the most relevant point here is no1, because there's just no new content and yes, i have noticed the number of all types of fan content dwindling. there are some bouts here and there and for the most part i try to stay consistent (even if it's through silly shit posts) but the audience, especially now, in 2023, isn't all that big.
BUT pls don't let that discourage you, anon! the fics that do get posted nowadays still get some hits and some kudos and even the occasional comment. the audience used to be bigger, sure, but that doesn't mean that your fics aren't still worth writing! and i will read them! so there, you got at least one person in your corner!
in conclusion, please don't let anything discourage you from writing and posting fic and also don't let initial low engagement discourage you. sometimes things just need to... marinate. i haven't been posting much fic lately (for piercifer specifically) but i still get the odd comment on my older fics, so really it can just be a bit of a waiting game given that it's fic for a rarepair that had no interactions in canon for over five years now.
also! if you ever want to talk about them both my askbox and dms are open! as you may have noticed, i am not always the best at answering quickly, but if that's alright with you then i will make sure to make it a social priority to answer preferably sooner rather than later! and, if you do end up dusting off your old wips and finishing them, then please do let me know, in whatever way you feel most comfortable, if they ever see the light of day as i would love to read them <3
edit: i am now also writing a piercifer fic (one that is... more than i intended it to be) and i also got some drafts i have considered posting (most likely here) of things that have been sitting for so long they might as well get read so again, look! there's someone in your corner, anon!
#mine: q&a#again... apologies for taking so long to answer#not always at the top of my social game but i do love talking about them so so much#so please do contact me in whatever way you feel comfortable with if you wanna talk about them <3

I woke up this morning and saw I had a message in my inbox on AO3, presumably about by new fic, and was excited to see the feedback.
When I read what they wrote it was a small comment that said "stop using sudowrite".
Had no idea what that even means, so I had to look it up and found out it's some form of a writing AI.
Absolutely fuming.
I want to make something abundantly clear right now:
I have not been hand writing and editing all of my own stories, hundreds of pages worth of personally hand written or hand typed content for the past 16 years, only to get accused of using any form of lazy ass writing AI now.
This is what I love to do. For fun.
I put in a lot of unpaid time, creativity and energy into my writing and editing. The only thing I ask for in return is participation from the fandoms I love, be it via thoughtful feedback or valid criticisms.
But this is neither of those things. This is just an outright, baseless lie against the art that I have worked so hard to make myself, and I won't be undermined or discredited.
There's anger, and then there's whatever space I am occupying well past it right now.
It's infuriating to pour hours of my love, thought and creativity into original content only to have someone come out of nowhere and try to tell me I've been having an AI do it, especially 16 years deep.
Bitch please.
I also found out that app came out in 2020 . . . As I mentioned, I published my first K/S story in 2008 as Ruby JW on the K/S archives, and my first fanfic on fanfic.net was published in 2007 as luigi_is_stellar.
I invite anyone to peruse my decades-long collection of independent content that I have single-handedly accomplished well before such an app even existed, then come back to me and try to tell me that what I do here isn't authentic.
I don't usually get spicy, but when it comes to the art I spend hours writing and drawing independently with my own blood sweat and tears, yeah. I'm going to get spicy.
I do far too much unpaid work out of passion and love for this fandom to have such a serious accusation flung my way out of nowhere.
It's the first time in my 16 years of writing for this fandom that I've ever been accused of plagiarism, and you best trust and believe that I don't take that accusation lightly. I work too damn hard to let someone discredit the work I do personally in such a baseless manner.
Anyway, that was discouraging AF. I am boggled to learn that AI writing is even a thing, no less someone coming out of the woodwork to try to accuse me of using it 16 years into story publishing when I literally teach academic honesty and writing ethics in my line of paid work as an English professional.
Genuinely: Do you know who you're talking to?
A bit of background on me:
I come from a not-so-wealthy family who could not afford to pay to put me through school -- I paid for that all on my own. I had to earn my University English degree, one of four University degrees I hold on my own work and pay alone, without so much as a tutoring session or handout from home.
Not once would I have jeopardized everything I worked so hard and paid for out of my own pocket as a poor ass uni student working two jobs and doing night classes just to phone it in plagiarizing, not on one ounce of my work.
That was all me.
I've handwritten 3 MLA essays in under three hour exams BACK TO BACK, immediately followed by back-to-back Biology exams & a final lab where I ALSO had to write multiple essays and switch from MLA to APA mode within the span of 6 hours.
Those were all bound in handwritten yellow booklets well before we ever had Google Docs, Grammarly, formatting suggestions, or even regularly brought/had access to laptops in UNI. I did my work by hand.
I earned my degrees in English and Biology AT THE SAME TIME before I even turned 24. I earned a double major handwriting my own work papers like my life depended on it, and you actually think I'm about to phone it in now?
Step to me like that again, young blood. I ain't the one.😂
Anyway, I digress.
Ya girl ain't here to fight BC y'all know I tend to be very easygoing, full of humour, and I love to joke around in the fandom. I'm pretty wide open to opposing opinions or even criticisms. But this is unfounded slander, and I won't be taking that on the chin.
When it comes to my work, I take that very seriously, and I don't play around. My late father once told me that "The work you do and the degrees you earn are yours and yours alone, they can never take that education from you." I live by that sentiment, and have done so by putting forth honest work.
Be it paid or unpaid work, it's my work. Periodt.
It is an unfathomably disheartening and insulting message to receive as someone who writes all their own stuff themselves, draws all their own fanart themselves, does their own photo edits themselves, edits their writing themselves, and has never even used so much as a single outside beta reader/editor for my work. Not once. The art, the writing, the editing -- It's all me.
Bottom line:
Say you do or don't like my work, that's cash money and we good, whether it's your cup of tea or not.
Butt know that it is my work.
I will not put all of this free time, effort and love into my work only to be accused of lazily ripping the content that I have spent hours writing and personally editing from somewhere else.
And on that note, consider my PSA rant ended.
#FUMING#feeling muy picante#like . . . you put in so much goddamn work wroting editing drawing#only to have some arsehole come out of the woodwork and give all the credit to a ROBOT#hell to the no#1shirt2shirtredshirtdeadshirt#my art#rant#plagarism#slander#k/s#spirk#oc#my fic#fanart#fanfic#spirk fanfic#so so so mad#fanfic writing#the struggle is real#you think someone left a nice comment about the work you've been meticulously working on and editing#only to get THAT GARBAGE in your inbox😤

FAQ
Now that we’ve got some of the Big Long FAQ Content out of the way, we can finally post an FAQ for The People! This will be updated as needed.
Last updated 12/28/2024.
Who exactly are you?
You can call me Peach! I got into Danganronpa when the Game Grumps started playing it, and haven’t quite been able to drop the interest since. I’m a 26-year-old nonbinary lesbian, and I’m currently working towards a career in video games. It's just me running this thing, so please be patient waiting for me to get back to you!
There’s a post I want you to reblog/I made something that would fit on this blog/I found something I think you should see.
Awesome! Please send a link through the submission box – I’ll take it from there! Note that it may take some time for any posts to show up on the blog. I also try to keep the blog relatively safe to browse in public, so I reserve the right not to post anything that I judge as too risque.
Will you tag for [X]?
I will tag anything upon request. You can find a full list of current trigger tags under the Blog Policies!
What's with the "for anon (:" tag?
There are a few blog policies that have generated some pretty nasty messages in my inbox. To save me the headache and my followers the annoyance, I make it a personal policy not to respond to them; instead, I just quietly reblog the content again and move on. These topics include:
Chihiro on the blog. You can find the reasoning in this post!
Miyadera/Sister Shinguji. I outlined my full opinion on this here, and this is an important follow up!
Will you still tag those topics for blacklisting?
Absolutely! The 'for anon :)' tag is to discourage aggressive asks, not to mock anyone who has issues with the subject.
A post where skin was lightened wasn't tagged/you tagged a post for whitewashing but it wasn't lighter than the canon skin color! Why do you keep doing that?
I have a TERRIBLE time distinguishing colors. You're just gonna have to tell me anytime a post like this comes up ): Sorry for the inconvenience!
Why do you reblog [X] type of "problematic" ship, but not [Y]?
Danggirlronpa sits somewhere on the line between an archiving project and a fanblog. Over the years, I’ve seen many fanworks and fandom history lost due to blog deletion and movement across platforms. This blog is intended to preserve all of this content for newer audiences and maintain an easy-to-use interface. As a preservation project, I try not to impose too many moral restrictions on what I reblog, even when it makes me personally uncomfortable. The few standards are keep are for my own headspace.
If this is a project for archiving F/F ships, why do you reblog posts with just one girl?
Due to the nature of some girls’ popularity in fandom, there is a huge discrepancy in the amount of content for each of them. To even that playing field a little bit, I tend to reblog content for less appreciated girls, even if it isn’t actively sapphic.
What about why you reblog whitewashing?
Whitewashing and other forms of covertly racist, homophobic, and transphobic expressions in art are an important thing to archive because they show us the ugly side of fandom. Additionally, for all four notably dark-skinned girls in DR, even after getting notably less engagement than their light-skinned peers, deleting every post that lightens their skin would cut their presence on this blog by half, on top of their already generally smaller presence.
If any existing tags do not help keep these off your dash in the event you don't want to see them, I highly encourage you to ask me to tag in a way that will be easy for you to block!
The OP/person you reblogged this from is problematic!
I have, in the past, been harassed due to the spread of misinformation through call out posts and other word-of-mouth. The harassment I experienced led to a suicidal relapse, and I still have a great deal of trauma from it. As a result, I am very cautious about asks like this. You are always free to send me information about someone questionable in the community, but please know that I will generally handle the issue quietly, and will not directly respond to you about it at all if you are on anon.
How do you feel about X current event issue?
Unless I have overwhelming approval to do so from followers, which I would only ask for in the event of a charity or benefit project, this blog will be a permanent safe space from real world issues. I may talk about oppression that I have personally experienced, but I will not bring up major current events.
For the same reason, please do not ever expect a DNI from me. I reserve the right to refuse discussion about anything, and block anyone, that I choose. While this is a project to help others, I feel strongly about setting my own boundaries, and will exercise my right to do so!
My question still isn't on here!
Drop it in the ask box! My messages have previously gone completely offline, so asks are the safest way to reach me.

I have to say I am really sad to see how you too diss someone as an AA or an Ackles worshipper if they have some different opinion.
I have to say I'm really sad you didn't check that person's profile or history, the comments they usually make. I gave them the benefit of the doubt, still, the way they were trying to accuse everyone and twist things negatively was exactly like an AA does which was my point. Behaving like Jensen's flying monkeys. They are free to be as AA or whatethey they want but that person could have expressed their point just like everyone else with differing opinions that I did post, in a clear, respectful way. Instead they chose to attack everyone by following a supposed other Anon's example. I don't have to tollerate rudeness and it's extremely dangerous what these people are doing, always trying to start huge dramas over conversations that don't even interest them. Telling me I "diss" others with differing opinions couldn't be farther from the truth. It must be confirmation bias, because plenty of opposing opinion have been posted on this blog, most from people full on harassing me and forgive me but I am going to be painfully blunt: it's abusive that you expect me to sit there and take anything anyone throws at me without responding with boundaries and clarity. That "some different opinion" was full of vitriol, a toxic emotional rant disseminating limiting paradigms and making negative assumptions about post that did not contain the content she claimed, I am saddened you can't recognize that.
I've stated several times on this blog, I don't care what anyone ships or stans, what I care about is humanity. We can be in harmony even being very different but that requires mutual respect and healthy boundaries.
And contrary to your belief, it seems, I don't have to tollerate abuse in any way, shape or form just because my opinions are different than what someone else expects. There are plenty of people I've discussed with that disagreed with me and yet never resorted to spreading lies and accusations to start drama like that vally person did. In fact, some of my followers are completely different from me and may even hate me liking Jensen yet they are pure joy to interact with and always respectful. So it's a matter of choice, those who want to live in harmony do so without trying to limit others.
And again, if anything on my blog is not for you, feel free to unfollow, it's up to you to curate your online experience and I absolutely support that, I'm not for everyone just like not everyone is for me. I don't see why anyone should ever tollerate or expose themselves to content they dislike, it's unhealthy and stressful so I appreciate those who recognize that. Should also add that I'm human so sometimes, just like everyone else, I may make mistakes or not be on brand and that's perfectly okay, I get to grow and learn and I'm grateful for that.
It's hard to tell tone from written messages so I apologize for being brutally honest, I still reinforce what I said, no one should accept toxic behaviors because we all have the ability to interact without engaging in them.
Also, do you really mean to tell me those people don't over worship Jensen? Because that's also untrue. Balanced people don't go around starting fandom fights over their favorite because, for one, they recognize the value of differing opinions and secondly, they aren't over invested in said celebrity. What's wrong with helping people become aware they are overinvested? Or would you rather they waste their lives on worshipping Jensen and attacking everyone on their path while foregoing their personal dreams and goals? That's the saddest part of all, that people get caught up in fandom drama and wars and neglect themselves and their life over a celebrity obsession. In the process, they also destroy many others which is why I discourage anyone who exhibits that kind of behavior. There are much bigger issues in life than fandom drama so it really helps to get some perspective.
Also, I sometimes get accused of being an AA too but you don't see me going to other blogs to harass them or their posts over Jensen and then insist on how I am not one in the process. 🤣

Aromantic Experiences in Fandom: Survey Results
PART 1 - PART 2 - ANALYSIS: TIME IN FANDOM - ANALYSIS: AROALLO VS AROACE
This is the last of posts I am planning to make when it comes to the results to this survey, and in this one I want to focus on any differences between the opinions of the allosexual respondents versus the asexual ones. I suggest having looked over at Part 1 and Part 2 of the survey results, and/or keeping them open in another tab to easily confront the results.
Aroace respondents (including oriented and angled aroaces) were 558. Aroallo respondents were 154. The sample size for aroallos is, clearly, quite a bit smaller, and thus more likely to be inaccurate, still it is hopefully big enough to adequately represent the opinions of aroallo fans. People who identified as non-SAM aros, or who said that they were questioning or otherwise not identified with the given options are not being included in this discussion.
Not all questions of the survey will be discussed again in this post, in particular those questions were the aroace and aroallo respondents answered in a very similar way will not be discussed here.
As usual, summary is at the bottom of the post.
General Fandom Questions
Out of the entire samples, 543 aroaces stated that they are currently involved in fandom spaces, as well as 145 aroallos. The survey has a section for people who were not involved in fandom, however, this section will not be discussed here because the sample size for people not involved in fandom is too small to be considered accurate. Instead, there will be some focus on the questions aimed at aros currently involved in fandom.
In general, would you say fandom spaces are aro-friendly?
Aroallos were more likely than average to answer no to this question (47.6%), while aroaces answered no less often than average (40.6%). Aroallos answered yes way less often (4.1%), while aroaces were more in line with the average results (11.8%).
Do you think it's easy to find aromantic specific content in fandom?
Aroallos were more likely to say no (90.3%) than aroaces (85.8%). Aroaces were more likely to say yes (6.7%) than aroallos (4.1%).
Do you think alloromantic (non-aromantic) fans are in general respectful of aromantic interpretations of characters/media?
Aroallos were more likely to answer no (61.4%) than aroaces (55.0%). While the amount of people who were unsure varied, the two groups were about equally likely to say yes.
Content Creators Questions
418 aroaces stated that they have created fancontent. 116 aroallos stated that they have created fancontent.
If you have created aro content, would you say it got more or less attention than your non aro content?
Aroallos were more likely to say that their aro content got less attention (77.8%) compared to aroaces (63.8%). Also, some aroaces said that their aro content got more attention (3.4%), but no aroallos answered this way, saying that at most it got the same amount of attention.
Have you ever felt discouraged by your fandom when it comes to making aro content?
Aroaces were more likely to answer no to this question (37.8%) than aroallos (31.0%). Out of those who did feel discourages, aroallos were more likely than aroaces to say that it was out of fear for receiving hate for it (42.3% vs 35.5%).
Shipping Questions
Aroallos were more likely to be into shipping than aroaces (92.2% vs 87.5%). There were 142 aroallo shippers, and 514 aroace ones. The questions aimed at non-shippers will also not be discussed, as once again the sample size was too small to make comparisons. Instead, there will be focus on the questions aimed at shippers.
Do you consider non-romantic shipping (shipping characters as queerplatonic partners, friends with benefits, etc.) to be a valid form of shipping, or do you think shipping only refers to romantic situations?
Aroallos were more likely than average to answer yes (78.2%), aroaces were less likely than averages (69.2%). Aroallos were also much more likely to state that shipping only applies to romantic situations (14.8%) than aroaces (6.6%). Instead, aroaces were more likely to answer that only some forms of non-romantic shipping count as shipping (23.6%), while aroallos were strongly less likely to answer this way (7.0%).
When it comes to your ships, do you prefer content that focuses more on the romantic or sexual aspect of the relationship?
The differences in the way the two groups answered this question were very significant. Aroaces were most likely to answer that they like romantic content and dislike sexual content (43.4%), which is also the option that appeared as the most chosen in the general results. However, this was the absolutely least chosen option by aroallos (5.6%).
Aroaces were also fairly likely to say that they prefer romantic content, while also enjoying sexual content (25.2%). However, aroallos were less likely than average to chose this option (13.4%).
When it comes to the option for liking both equally, aroallos were far more likely to pick it than aroaces (46.5% vs 26.2%).
Many aroallos said that they prefer sexual content, while also enjoying romantic content (26.8%). This option was far less chosen by aroaces (4.7%).
Lastly, some aroallos said that they prefer sexual content and dislike romantic content (7.7%). Very few aroaces picked this option (0.6%).
Here I will give you a list of tropes commonly found in shipping fan content. I ask that you pick 5 that you consider your favorites. You can pick less than 5 if there aren't enough tropes that you like, but please try not to pick more.
When it came to aroace fans, the most popular tropes picked align fairly well with the general results. The five most popular are Domestic Fluff (51.7%), Slow Burn (49.8%), Mutual Pining (49.0%), Friends to Lovers (41.4%) and Enemies to Lovers (39.8%). There are the exact same five tropes that resulted most popular from the general results, although in slightly different order. The rest of the tropes still roughly follows the same pattern as what was in the general results (described in Part 2) with minor differences.
Things are, however, fairly different when it comes to aroallo responses. Here the five most popular tropes are PWP (47.1%), Mutual Pining (45.1%), Enemies to Lovers (40.8%), Friends with Benefits (38.0%) and Domestic Fluff (32.4%). Slow Burn and Friends to Lovers are here kicked out of the top five, replaced by PWP and Friends with Benefits, both tropes with a heavy sexual side to them.
Because the rest of the tropes were also somewhat out of order, I’ll report which ones aroallos picked in order of most to least popular: Slow Burn, Established Relationships, Porn with Feelings, Friends to Lovers, Unhealthy Relationships, Fake Dating, Hate Sex, Getting Together and Soulmate AU, Unrequited Love, Jealousy/Possessiveness, Friends with Benefits to Lovers and Hanahaki Disease and Telepathic Bonds, Arranged Marriage, Break Ups, First Dates, Love at First Sight.
Porn with Feelings is far higher on the list (seventh most popular here vs eleventh most popular in the general results). Hate Sex is also much higher (eleventh here vs seventeenth in the general results). Friends with Benefits to Lovers is the only “sexual” trope that didn’t make a significant jump. On the other hand, Friends to Lovers was much less popular among aroallos, as well as Soulmate AU.
Here I give you the same list of tropes, but this time I ask that you pick the 5 tropes you dislike the most. Again, you can pick less than 5, but please try not to pick more
Once again, for aroaces the top five most disliked trope are the same as the overall most disliked tropes. In order Jealousy/Possessiveness (54.5%), Unhealthy Relationships (52.3%), Hate Sex (50.2%), Love at First Sight (39.7%), and Hanahaki Disease (38.7%). The order is a little different, with Hate Sex being higher in the list compared to the general results, but the tropes are the same. The rest is, once again, very similar to the general list of most disliked tropes, with the most significant difference being that the sixth most disliked trope here was PWP, who was not as unpopular in the general results.
For aroallos, the top five is Love at First Sight (52.1%), then Soulmate AU and Hanahaki Disease and Jealousy/Possessiveness (47.9% for all three), and Unhealthy Relationships (36.6%). Aroallos were a lot more likely to dislike Soulmate AUs compared to aroaces. On the other hand, Hate Sex is much less unpopular for aroallos, being only the tenth most disliked trope.
Other sexual tropes such as PWP and Porn with Feelings were in the same position, as second least disliked tropes. Friends with Benefits was the least disliked trope, with only one person picking it.
Summary
Aroallos reported finding fandom somewhat less aro-friendly than aroaces, as well as apparently finding aromantic content harder to find. Aroallo creators reported that their aromantic specific content received less attention, and that they more often felt discouraged by fandom when it comes to making said content than aroace respondents. Given the smaller sample size of aroallos, it’s a little hard to say whether this was a statistical fluke or if fandom is indeed less friendly to aroallos than to aroaces. Once could say that perhaps the aro content that aroallo want is less likely to be made and less likely to be well received, but unfortunately there weren’t questions asking details regarding the kind of content either group wants or makes.
When it comes to shipping, most aroaces prefer romantic content, often disliking sexual content, and very few of them prefer sexual content. On the other hand, most aroallos enjoy sexual content, with the majority of aroallos either enjoying both romantic and sexual content equally or having a preference for sexual content. This is also reflected in the tropes either group prefers, with aroallos showing a lot of interest in tropes such as PWP and Friends with Benefits, compared to aroaces who as a general rule are not fans of these tropes. Aroallos also care less for Friends to Lovers, and tend to dislike Soulmate AUs more than aroaces do.
Thank you for having read through this post, even more if you read through all the previous ones as well. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact me.

[see regular pinned post here]
so... i guess this is it.
it's over.
[explanation below. read the other half in fanfiction form here.]
q. what's this about?
a change of interest. i was always more invested in my writing than i was in the fandom, so i think it's time i seperate the two. i will never stop loving haikyuu, but i'm just... moving on.
q. are you leaving tumblr?
no. nothing's ending but my haikyuu fanfiction. my account will continue to be active, just not as a haikyuu blog.
q. so what changes are going to take place?
barely any. i might slow down on reblogging fanfiction, and i don't know how active i'll be. it's all up in the air, depending on how i feel. but i'm most likely not going to posting writing here.
q. why now?
this blog was never permanent. in fact, when i started that angst sequence in february with my 72 followers, i thought i'd keep that going for two months max and then move onto other things. i never thought i'd gain as many friends as i have through this blog.
but writing fanfiction has been holding me back. i want to try all sorts of things, and ever since the start, this blog has felt like me rewriting the same story over and over. i like romance and all that. but this fandom doesn't really make me happy anymore and i'd prefer to be creating original content instead of being locked into "will people read this?" "am i wasting my time?" "i'm doing this for notes, not for fun."
q. why are you making such a big deal about it?
hopefully it doesn't come across that way. i know my writing's not that important to people. i guess i've just always wanted to be interviewed lol
but it's also a big change for me, 'cause i feel like my primary identity (at least in my mind) has been "writer." but i realize now that it's taking up a lot of my time, stressing over works, refreshing notifications, formatting pieces i'm not really proud of, and as a small step of working through mental illness i've decided that it's time to return to writing stories about my own characters. it just feels so repetitive to keep going like this, continuing tiring and discouraging habits when i don't need to.
thank you for everything you’ve given back to me as i’ve poured my heart into writing. i can never repay those of you who took the time to leave comments, or reblog my work, or send me asks. it’s helped me feel more confident about my writing. someday i’ll write well, and then y’all better watch out.
that’s it! whether you’re a new follower or an old one, whether we’re besties or ghost moots, i appreciate you taking the time to read (or skim) this.
wishing you godspeed.

So apparently there is a lot of shit happening in this fandom right now which I absolutely do not understand. I would not even take the time out of my day to even say something about these “issues” if I had to work, but I am off for a few days.
I agree with the fact that adults should NEVER talk to minors or even people who are much younger about anything related to sexual interactions or nsfw content. That is just wrong.
Nevertheless, there is nothing wrong with talking about hobbies, mental health or anything else. When I was underaged and spent time at the barn, most of my friends were more than 20 years older than me. I still have those friends to this day and their guidance and listening ears, their shoulder to cry on and their perspective on life saved my life multiple times. I would literally be dead if it wasn’t for those people.
I don’t know if people like YOU - and I am not going to mention names because I don’t want to blow this out of proportion of spend my time on this any longer - enjoy disparaging others because it makes you feel better or if you are just bored. If you feel bad about yourself, go seek help. See a therapist, focus on your mental health and try to get better. It’s not other peoples fault that you had to deal with trauma in your life.
I welcome anyone on my page, and even though I would strongly discourage minors or young adults from reading my stories that do involve some form of consensual (!!!!) sexual interactions, I’ve come to learn that there is really no way from preventing this if people want to read it. I am old enough to understand how the internet works. You can’t be sure if someone who says they’re of age really is, because all it takes is a little change in your profile.
Maybe today take some time out of your day to say something nice to someone. Take time to make someone’s day a little better instead of tearing other people apart. Especially during the time of this global pandemic we should support one another, offer a hand if people struggle.
Always be kind. You never know what someone’s going through. Love - in any way, romantic or platonic - will conquer all. Hate won’t persevere as long as kindness is around.

Hawks w/ fem!reader who’s struggling to conceive
Request: If you're still accepting bnha requests, I was hoping you can write one for Hawks and his s/o (defs can be gender neutral, trans, etc.). I've become attached to the kiddos you have written for them and I'm wondering, what if they had trouble conceiving? From IVF to surrogacy, not everyone has an easy time making kids. Whatever route they take is up to you (whatever fits best), but I think it would be a sweet moment where they dont think they can ever have kids then BAM! Suddenly, twins. - @sykandron
I’ve been reading some hc from other fandoms *cough* Haikyuu *cough* and I felt that it was about time to tackle this ask. Since I’m a 17 year old toddler you would assume that I know nothing about this. But I study biology and that doesn’t make this any easier bc I don’t know a single thing about this topic. So I did my research and I tried my best. Hope you like it. Love yaa. 💖💖💖
warnings: triggering content, trouble conceiving, some depressive thoughts.
-Keigo and you have been together since high school and he married you last year.
-Even though he’s a pro hero which is a very stressful and time consuming job, it doesn’t take him much time before he wants to start a family.
-You are in love that’s for sure so a person made form your love is not hard to imagine but you are beyond concerned.
-Keigo doesn’t have much time for himself and as much as you don’t mind not seeing him for long amounts of time but a child needs to see their father.
-And you don’t believe that you can raise a child on your own.
-Your relationship has been built on trust and communication, so you sit down and talk everything through him.
-If he’s being honest he has been concerned about the time he will get to spend with his child as well because he’s number 2....and that’s a handful.
-So you made an agreement.
-You would make a schedule that Keigo would have to follow unless something urgent came up and he would try to minimize his time spent at work.
-You would give this schedule a try for a month and if he could keep it up you would begin to try for a baby.
-Surprisingly he made it work and had to leave for an emergency only four times.
-So you got to baby making and you went at it for months.
-When you got no results even after trying the “best” positions and eating specific foods that would make you more fertile, you started getting discouraged.
-Keigo suggested going to the doctor to check if something was wrong, with both of you.
-After your appointment you had to wait for some days before you could get your results back.
-And boy if they weren’t disappointing.
-Turns out that you both had problems of your own, Keigo not having a strong enough seed and you having an overly hostile environment so conceiving would be a challenge.
-To say your were devastated was an understatement.
-You closed yourself off and for the first time in your relationship, there was no communication.
-Keigo tried talking to you, tried to pull you out of your own thoughts, but to no avail.
-Your brain was working against you and it showed.
-You wouldn’t eat, you slept longer and became sloppy in the workplace.
-He would find you bawling your eyes out in the bathroom and then coming out with a hollow look.
-It was killing him as much as it was killing you.
-So he did some research.
-And when I say some I mean that he went to like 15 doctors and bought 50+ books about the issue and he came up with around 10 solutions to your problem.
-Of course the last two on the list were the ones you wanted to avoid, adoption and sperm donation, not that you minded adopting but you wanted a small Keigo to be honest and the idea of donation was off the table.
-You felt very uncomfortable with the idea.
-So after he talked to you and convinced you to try what he found, you agreed to try for a year.
-If nothing came of it you would adopt.
-And that’s how it all started.
-Vitamins and special pills, doctor appointments and hormonal treatments.
-Nothing seemed to work and you were staring to get disappointed.
-It was nearing the end of the deadline you had set when you started throwing up in the morning.
-Your appetite changed and everything smelled awful, your feelings were all over the place and you couldn’t seem to control your tears.
-Keigo was the logical one for once and took you to the doctor.
-When he came inside the room with the results of your tests with a smile so wide and bright that it blinded you, you knew something was up.
- “I’m happy to announce that you made it! You are pregnant dear.”
-You swear that the whole clinic heard your squeals.
-Keigo went full dad mode even though it would be some time before the baby could actually be seen on a sonogram.
-He changed his work schedule even more, staying home longer and minimizing his patrols.
-Sure he was the number 2 hero but his baby is his top priority and you cannot change my mind.
-When you got your first sonogram and saw them, Keigo had been called in for an emergency and try as he might he couldn’t avoid it.
-You had to push him out of the clinic because he wouldn’t leave.
- “The public is in danger you dumb bird!”
- “I AM NOT MISSING MY CHILD!”
-What in the world??
-You got home before him and you waited patiently, sonogram in hand and two champagne glasses one for actual champagne and one for some apple juice.
-The moment he stepped through the door he rushed to you and would’ve tackled you if you weren’t pregnant.
- “Are they healthy? Is everything alright? I don’t like that smile you’ve got. Is it the baby or because I ate your Doritos, I swear I’m going to buy you more!”
- “YOU ATE MY DORITOS????”
-When you raised your hands in the air he saw the pictures you were holding and he focused on that and that alone.
-You followed his gaze and giggled, patting the space next to you and pecking him on the cheek.
-He looked at the images in front of him and....was confused beyond belief.
-Is..is that a baby? It looks like a shadow. Is it a shadow? Are all babies shadows? Shadow babies....
-Seeing the look on his face you let a hearty laugh before grabbing his hands and making them into fists.
-You brought them together and traced one of them with one finger while your other hand was tracing one shadow on the sonogram.
- “That’s one baby and that’s another baby.”
-He froze, looking at his fists with his brows furrowed until it hit him.
-Twins.
-He was having twins.
-All this hard work for a baby and he had been blessed with two.
-He looked at you then, tears forming in the corners of his eyes as a smile made its way on his face.
-He hugged you tightly, his tears wetting his your shirt and a string of ‘thank you’s and ‘I love you’s spilling from his mouth.
-He was truly happy with his family.
-Just him, you and your two nuggies against the world.
BONUS:
- “Weak sperm my ass I got you pregnant twice in one go.”
- “It doesn’t work that way you dumb KFC meal.”
- “Chicken nugget juniors disagree with you. Ain’t that right my little chicks??”
