I'm trying to write down the Racer AU idea but it like, I can't 😭

I have written 5 different versions and I don't know what I like best

The first one would be that Percy is some how force to go to an illegal race competition (maybe by the twins or something like that) and Oliver is there and is like "wow, he is hot" and they start from that and Marcus is just like "wow, he is good and pretty" and he wants to start something with Percy. And Percy is just like, "wow, two hot men that probably won't talk to me ever in my life"

The second idea (the one I like the most) is that Oliver is the one racing and Percy is there to cheer him, even though he knows is super dangerous but he likes to see Oliver happy. And they are like best friends that both have a crush on each other but they don't want to admit it.

Marcus is just there to be Oliver's rival in the track and as a love interest for Percy and they are like super competitive with each other but in a chill way?? And then he sees Percy and he's interested in him and flirts with him. Oliver doesn't like that and so he is jealous so he has a fight with Percy and they end up confessing their feelings and starts dating.

But what happens with Marcus? Percy kinds of have a crush on him and Oliver is like, okay, he is hot and attractive and they both discover that they have a crush on Marcus and don't now what to do.

They then go out on a club as a couple and see Marcus alone. They are all super drunk and they end up in someone's place and have like fucked and the next day they decide what they want to do with their love live and just decide to be a polyamorous couple and they live happily ever after.

Other version of this idea is that Percy starts dating Marcus first and Oliver is like super depressed and confronts Marcus after a bad race and they get into a heated argument and they kiss.

Oliver feels super bad because, he hasn't just lost his best friend but he has also made his new boyfriend cheat with him so he is not talking to Percy and distancing himself from him so he doesn't hurt him anymore. While Marcus is at home and is like, damn, they are both hot, I want to date them both, nerd x bad boy, rivals to lovers, best friends to lovers, best tropes.

Percy hasn't get over Oliver so he is like, I have to tell Marcus that I'm not ready. And they talk and is like:

Marcus: You are in love with your bf, right?

Percy: How did you know?

Marcus: Me too, bro

And they are like, what do we do now? Marcus had told him about the kiss

They decide to go and tell Oliver, while the man is using his pets as a therapist (probably a cat or dog) and Percy go to his house and tells him that they have to talk. Oliver Stars to apologise bit Percy shuts hem and he tells him that he is in love with him but he understands that if he doesn’t feel the same, they could forget that any thing happened or they could even stop talking. That if he wants to go for Marcus he can and all that stuff. But Oliver is like, “no, no no, is not that, but like, I do like Marcus but I like you too and arghh” she just kisses Percy and they make out and now they have to sort their feelings. The. Marcus walks up to Oliver and tells him that he finds him attractive and would like to try something (at this point Percy has already told him about being a poly couple but he has to talk to Marcus and stuff) So they all go to a cafe together at sorts it all and now they are all dating each other.

There is a third version and is like the second one, but still illegal and involves Marcus going to jail and stuff but that is a story for another day.

Just want to say, love your mimick au. I only found it like, an hour ago and I've devoured everything in the tag and I'm planning to do the same to the spellbound and monster hunter aus.

That said, in one of the mimick fanfics, Orion tells Prowl to leave him alone and to find a hobby, but a comic that (presumably) happens after this conversation when Orion meets Jazz, Orion seems to be back to working with Prowl. I thought the whole "leave me alone" order would go on infinitely because Orion didn't seem to have his goal locked down and he also never specified when to come back. So how did they return to working together? Did Orion find Prowl post-meltdown, or was it Prowl who just set an arbitrary amount of time before going back to Orion and going "so, how do you feel about defying god?" I just find Orion and Prowl's relationship so interesting in this au, simply because of how Orion doesn't seem to apply his morals about freedom and coexistence to Prowl despite the fact he's the one who points out that Prowl didn't include himself in his calculations, but at the same time, if he doesn't recognize Prowl's autonomy and only sees him as a tool (chatGPT style), he would have to accept that he's the one responsible for Prowl's actions because he's the one using him. But also also, Prowl encourages him to not take responsibility for all the immoral actions (like killing monsters to keep the Council's favor), which I think Orion does take up, but that would indirectly be accepting Prowl as a individual capable of making his own decisions, you know? It also the fact that Orion and Prowl both have different (and somewhat incompatible) ways of communicating. I was thinking when Orion asked Prowl to what he'd do to make the most amount of mechs happy, Prowl understood it literally: the majority of the population are non-monsters, so statistically, he'd focus on making non-monsters happy. But Orion doesn't want to make most mechs happy; he wants a diverse and equitable society, and that doesn't necessarily lead to happiness, especially in transition phases. Even in the academy, monsters are learning to compromise to live in a non-monster society; compromises are about restriction, which often aren't a source of happiness. But Orion equates that vision to happiness, and probably gets a bad impression of Prowl given "free reign" from his answer. It's great, it's so juicy.

And contrasts so well with how Prowl and Jazz interact and communicate with each other. Like how Prowl makes an attempt to learn hand language for Jazz in the same way he attempts to comfort Orion post-Shockwave demonification. But unlike Orion who has "Prowl is not alive" at the core of their dynamic, Jazz doesn't know and sees Prowl's attempt to learn as a genuine attempt to understand/communicate. You can argue that Prowl is just "programmed" to try and get more information and it's just efficient to ensure Jazz doesn't get carpal tunnel while working together, but you can also argue that we're all programmed to do that as well; small talk or bids for attention are behaviors/actions to build connection through information exchange that we are trained to do from formative years and general society. Which is to say, even if Prowl learns and tries to accommodate Jazz for mission purposes, it doesn't negate the fact that he is investing effort into communicating and building the foundation for a meaningful connection in the same way other people do. It's great, I'm having a blast with the whole AU.

Orion despite being afraid to continue his mission still has responsibilities in his Order so him and Prowl. Yeah hahah they just keep working together but purely on their usual legal tasks. I didn’t talk about the whole situation enough yet but basically Prowl never informed Orion about his new quest of suing God. Primarily because he knows that Orion definitely will try to stop him.

It’s kind of like. “What isn’t forbidden can automatically be considered allowed” mentality.

Also MY GOD YES. My favourite part of this au is reading asks like yours:0 Prowl exists in that thin line between being and not being a person capable of his own choices. Orion exists on the thin line between considering him being one of those options. He can’t see Prowl as a “real mech” because he knows for a fact it’s not true. But then seeing him as a tool means accepting that all questionable things he does are Orion’s responsibility.

At the end of the day Prowl is a metaphorical piece of fabric Orion uses to clean his consciousness. In his eyes Prowl isn’t alive enough to be fully blamed for all the bad things he does but he is also alive just enough for Orion to say “it was your fault. Not mine.”

Jazz doesn’t have that dilemma. Uh. Yet haha he will discover the truth eventually of course~. He thinks Prowl is obviously a real mech because in his world magic isn’t alive. It can create an illusion of a mech, sure, this is what all usual golems are, but it’s not smart or believable enough. It’s like one of those tests where all people think they can tell if they’re talking to an AI chat bot because “duh I would obviously know” and then fail to distinguish AI from a real person. Jazz is perceptive but he doesn’t know what to look for. All he knows is that Prowl is somehow doesn’t love anyone but seems to care about of things that aren’t people.

Also it’s a bit unrelated but I find it soooo interesting playing with the usual concepts of magic and technology. Because usually magic is perceived as something more “coming from your heart” and “connected with emotions” while technology tends to be more “soulless” and “emotionless”. And then we have the entire world of robots who think they are alive and magic isn’t :)

And then she has to manipulate and recapture all the key people she needs for her plan to work all while barely able to move and despised by every parahuman in the multiverse? And then she still manages to save herself and escape when Ciara leaves her to die in scions death explosion?

I REALLY REALLY like @a-scary-lack-of-common-sense’s AU!! And I love Stan’s new lore, and I just love Stan in general actually. The story is super cool and it’s making me want to start posting more of my own comics and writing (and maybe try to draw more digital art, not likely though).

Forgive me if this looks like shit, it’s currently 12:00 where I am rn and I’ve had a scary lack of sleep this week (fuck you calculus).

~{Heyyy, so I’ve been dealing with my extended family and am very tired from that so still probably won’t hear from me unless replies,reblogs,and my mutuals comment section (you fuckers are suck with me <3) but has anyone thought of this concept}~

Danny and Phantom as ENA

Ok so hear me out, I’ve been reminded of that one episode where Danny and phantom became their own people and I was thinking “What can I do with this knowledge” and was reminded of the existence of ENA by some very will done OCs and I had this thought, so here’s what I came up with!

So The GIW (Or Vlad or the Fentons) pick your poison of the three and they somehow capture Danny and do what we in the phandom love doing to this boy… traumatizing the shit out of him :). So while their digging around inside of Danny (vivisection au coming in clutch) and end up finding his core and start messing around with it and it ends up cracking like really bad which causes Danny and phantom personality’s to separate and it starts to change their outside appearance too.

And that’s when clockwork finally steps in and drags their ass into the Ghost Zone and start to assess the damage and now Danny and just kinda act like ENA (rapid mood swings, saying the most random shit)but they actually acknowledge each other as different people just in the same body, and with his assessment done Clockwork yeets them into their lair, which looks really fucked up due to them first being half-dead than their core and mind getting messed with.

For their personalities I think

Danny- Space Obsessed (Always sneaks in a pun or fact about space and has stars on his side of the body)

Phantom- Protection (Will beat the shit out of someone on sight if in danger, if reminded of what happened Phantom will immediately get aggressive and Danny will start to freak the fuck out)

Now for the DC stuff I’m thinking.

A group of hero’s from the DCU (again pick your poison here, I don’t really know or care all to much about the specifics of this all too much) and they somehow end up in Danny’s and Phantoms lair and end up wandering around a bit being like “wtf where are we????” Before coming across Danny and phantom.

The whole concept of a sloppy, eager, desperately needy and over enthusiastic top will never not be delicious to me.
