As someone who used to write fanfiction, this is very disheartening to hear.

AO3 has been scraped, once again.

As of the time of this post, AO3 has been scraped by yet another shady individual looking to make a quick buck off the backs of hardworking hobby writers. This Reddit post here has all the details and the most current information. In short, if your fic URL ends in a number between 1 and 63,200,000 (inclusive), AND is not archive locked, your fic has been scraped and added to this database.

I have been trying to hold off on archive locking my fics for as long as possible, and I've managed to get by unscathed up to now. Unfortunately, my luck has run out and I am archive locking all of my current and future stories. I'm sorry to my lovelies who read and comment without an account; I love you all. But I have to do what is best for me and my work. Thank you for your understanding.

I've been trying to answer this since you sent this, anon, and I've finally gotten enough time! I am super tired though so I apologize if its a little scattered. It's been a week, I tell you!

11. Would you date this character?

(Assuming I wasn't already married) Eh, no. I like a very specific kind of guy and Kevin is way too mean for me to ever consider dating. In addition, I don't like drinking at all and him using alcohol to cope is a big no for me. The sporty aspect and the mafia connections don't necessarily turn me off of him but there's just so much about him that I wouldn't be able to cope with. Being an athlete is fine but he spends every waking moment obsessed with it and that's just too much for me. I'd also want someone who has the same morals, values, and beliefs as me and Kevin just doesn't. I might be able to be casual friends or at least someone to listen to his talk about history or exy (I love when people info-dump to me) before or after class but I'd never even consider dating him.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

I really like the autistic Kevin headcanon and have adopted that one. I also think he has a slight remnant of his Irish accent left and Neil just never cares to mention it. I think he also plays it up a little bit for the media as part of his "Son of Exy Kevin Day" persona. It helps to remind people of his connection to his mom so Tetsuji encouraged him to keep the accent at least for being in front of the camera. He also really slips into it when he's super drunk.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

I really like how Kevin adapted from "I'm going to train this freshman for Court" to "Neil's going to die at the end of this year but I'll still train him every night" and how that whole relationship evolved. I think that Kevin grew a lot in seeing Neil face his abusers and certain death. It's pretty cool to me! I really like how they drew a lot of strength from each other and I think their friendship helps each other a lot.

9. Could you be roommates with this character? (Andrew and Neil)

No, for a lot of reasons. Both are kind of mean and aggressive and that would scare me a lot. I'm really sensitive to that sort of a thing. That being said, I did have a roommate in college who was a student athlete so the getting up early/going to bed late thing I could cope with. Actually, as long as they both mostly left me alone, I'd probably be fine.

I'd not be comfortable actually sharing a room, like in a college dorm room. I'm not comfortable sharing rooms with guys unless they are my husband or are directly related to me. If they were in another room, that would be someone better but I still probably wouldn't like it much.

14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.

Athletic emo I think? I'll be honest, I'm not sure of the right descriptors. 

Casual/not going anywhere: Black graphic or plain t-shirts, black athletic shorts or sweatpants

Going to class/running errands: Black graphic or plain t-shirts, black jeans or cargo pants. If he's feeling spicy, he might have a the chain things hanging from his pants. When it's cold, he's got a few black hoodies he'll wear.

Going to Eden's: He's got a leather jacket he likes to wear in the colder months and some cargo pants with chains and such. He's also got a few black slim cut jeans that are ripped. His shirts are more elaborate and will generally include black, maybe some leather, strategic rips like Neil's first Eden's shirt, and ,aybe more chains.

Exy: Aside from his uniform, he'll either wear the issued fox athletic wear or his black athletic shorts/t-shirt combo. 

Shoes: He either wears his black combat boots, his tennis shoes, or slides.

He's also obviously always got his black armbands. I think he's probably got three with sheaths sewn in and two or three for travelling on planes/going somewhere he really can't take his knives. They are all the exact same brand and style.

(Neil)

Pre-Andrew: Thrift store t-shirts that are faded and also a size or two too big, jean shorts or pants that are also way faded and ripped from being worn so much (not fashion rips). Some of his jeans are obviously patched. Tennis and a two sweatshirts he switched between. He's got some athletic shorts too.

Post Andrew: Fox t-shirts and a few of Andrew's that he stole. They fit a bit better. He has new jeans and jean shorts that don't look like they're on their last leg. All of his athletic gear is Fox themed. Andrew dresses him for Eden's.
