I'm not too surprised to see that your ratio of guilty prisoners went up in t2 while mine went down (Haku getting 2 inno verdicts is crazy he already spelled out his crime do not let him get away with it) WAIT NAOMI IS GUILTY!! OH BOY
Thank you Hinode for saying what I've been thinking about Naomi. "It’s like Chiba-san really does think she’s guilty but deep inside she wants someone to say that they forgive her." Didn't everyone not blame her for her crime?? Isn't that why she wanted to be voted guilty in t1? I want her being annoying in her t3 vd like Daisuke. Gender equality /j
Having a guard explain a prisoner's crime because they were there is so cool actually. And it's something that's only possible because the guards are related to the prisoners and retain their memories. A very linagram thing :D

THE SECOND TRIAL IS OFFICIALLY OVER. YIPPEEEEEEEEE 🎉🎉🎉 i was about to type "are we ready to see them suffer even more" but ykw. ykw. some characters actually are going to get better :) and some relationship dynamics are going to become a bit more wholesome. some other ones though...
Hinode: So, Miki-san, are you ready to start?
Miki: ...
Hinode: If you want, I can do the talking instead.
Miki: .. N-no, I'm fine. I don't want you to waste your energy on this, so..
Hinode: Haha, you're too kind.
Miki: I just.. I don't get it. Why did they choose you as a guard? It's too hard for you to even walk and they're making you go through all of this..
Miki: A-ah, it's not like I'm saying you're weak or a burden or anything like that-
Hinode: Well, Eiji-san's arms and legs are covered in bandages and he's in a constant pain, but he still was forced to become a guard, so..
Hinode: It looks like they don't really care about things like that.
Hinode: I'm fine, Miki-san, trust me. Please don't worry about me, okay?
Miki: .. O-okay.
Miki: S-so, the second trial has ended and all prisoners know what verdicts they got this time.
Hinode: I imagine not all of them were satisfied with the result.
Miki: .. Yeah. Definitely.
Miki: So, um, let's start with the first prisoner, I guess.
Miki: Prisoner 001, Miyagawa Akio.
Miki: If we voted him guilty, even though Eiji-san is not able to do the punishing himself right now, we'd still have to do something to him and..
Miki: Considering his condition, that would simply kill him.
Hinode: Also, from what I've heard, his accomplice really was responsible for most of the work.
Hinode: I agree, it does sound like him just trying to shift the blame, but also..
Hinode: For some reason, I believe him.
Miki: *nods* S-so, he was voted innocent this time.
Miki: Um, Hinode-san, if it's okay.. Remember those questions you made everyone answer?
Hinode: Right. You want to know everyone's answers?
Miki: Y-yes, please. If you don't mind, of course.
Hinode: I have all of the papers with me. Let's see..
Hinode: I can tell by Akio-san's handwriting just how hard it was for him to write. He really was in pain.
Hinode: He talks a lot about his accomplice here. He really misses him a lot, haha..
Hinode: Sorry, that was a bad joke.
Miki: No, no, I.. think he really does miss him.
Hinode: According to Akio-san's answers, his accomplice was responsible for most of the "dirty work" related to their murder. He was the one who did the "physical" aspect of it, but Akio-san was the one who came up with everything.
Miki: H-he admitted it himself?..
Hinode: Yes. I guess this is what happens when someone's in so much pain: they start telling the truth without even noticing it.
Miki: So.. For some reason, Milgram saw Miyagawa-san as the actual murderer?
Hinode: I think it's because, again, he was the one who planned everything. Also, it was his wish to see Chise-san dead that motivated him to murder the boy. If it wasn't for that, it's possible that Chise-san would still be alive.
Hinode: .. I have my doubts though.
Miki: Hm? About what exactly?
Hinode: About Chise-san still being alive. I think it's possible that someone else would've still killed him even if it wasn't for Akio-san.
Miki: .. You're talking about Miyagawa-san's accomplice, aren't you?
Hinode: Yes. I think he would've still tried to kill him even if Akio-san refused to do it himself or join him.
Miki: May I ask why you think so?
Hinode: You can read Akio-san's answers later, if you want.
Hinode: I wonder how he reacted to hearing about his verdict.
Miki: He looked shocked at first, but then he sighed loudly and actually looked relieved for a moment. Before I told him that he was forgiven, he was.. shaking. It's like..
Miki: It's like he thought that we're going to punish him again.
Hinode: Haha, well, it's good to hear that he's happy about his verdict.
Hinode: I hope his condition gets better too. I hate seeing people in pain.
Miki: "Hinode-san sounds like a very nice person.. Maybe he will go easy on the guilty prisoners?"
Miki: "Actually.. I'm still not sure who exactly should punish the guilty prisoners this time."
Miki: "It used to be Eiji-san's job, but.."
Miki: "Never mind."
Miki: N-now.. Prisoner 002, Hanasaki Aimi.
Miki: Even though Eiji-san and some prisoners found her relationship with Miyagawa-san suspicious..
Miki: And her second video was darker and scarier than the first one..
Miki: We still voted her innocent.
Hinode: She had to go through so much, I can't imagine how she would react to getting voted guilty right after she found people that she thought she can trust.
Hinode: I can't help but feel sorry for her. Her problems just feel so..
Hinode: .. I just know a person who had to go through a similar thing, haha.
Miki: ".. Is he talking about his brother?"
Miki: Also, even though we still don't know some details of her murder, now we can say for certain that the murder took place at the amusement park that Hanasaki-san's family owned and Hanasaki-san had an accomplice.
Hinode: And her accomplice was..
Miki: .. I think it was her older brother.
Miki: It wouldn't make sense for a classmate or someone else to help her. It also took place at her family's amusement park and of course, a family member would know at least something about how it works. I doubt it would be a parent or a grandparent, so..
Hinode: Also remember what she said during that one interrogation?
Hinode: "Oh well, he's dead anyway".
Hinode: So, her accomplice is definitely a man and.. he's also dead.
Hinode: And her video even shows her killing her accomplice in the end.
Miki: .. So, Hanasaki-san is at least partially responsible for killing her classmates and she also killed her accomplice with her own hands..
Miki: And that accomplice was her own older brother..
Miki: S-she has a reason for doing that, right, Hinode-san? I mean, she has to!..
Miki: If she doesn't-
Hinode: That means you won't be able to forgive her?
Miki: .. I don't know. I-I don't want to think about it.
Miki: It's just.. I can understand why she would want to kill her classmates. I really do feel sorry for her. But her own brother?..
Hinode: Actually, judging from what she wrote here, her relationship with her brother was.. a bit strange.
Miki: Really? But I thought they were close..
Hinode: Oh, Miki-san, being close with someone doesn't always mean you have a perfect and healthy relationship with that person.
Hinode: A-anyway, how did she react to her verdict?
Miki: .. She smiled and ran to give me a hug and said that she knew I will forgive her this time as well.
Miki: "Because we're friends, after all"..
Miki: .. Prisoner 003, Ishizu Shun.
Miki: He looked like he really wanted to attack Eiji-san and even enjoyed seeing him terrified. And his video showed him killing his victim..
Miki: W-well, victims.
Hinode: Even someone like you couldn't forgive him this time, huh?
Miki: .. I don't want him to try to attack Eiji-san when he comes back.
Miki: And.. I just thought that my forgiveness won't save him this time.
Hinode: So, let's see..
Hinode: He claimed that he only killed his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend, correct?
Hinode: But his video clearly showed him killing both his ex and her boyfriend.
Hinode: Do you think he knows she's dead as well and he's just in denial or lying or he genuinely doesn't remember killing her?
Miki: .. I feel like he doesn't remember killing her and whenever he does remember it, he just tries to deny it.
Miki: When Eiji-san asked him if she's still alive, he refused to answer and just stared blankly at us and asked which girlfriend he's talking about.
Hinode: Speaking of Shun-san having multiple girlfriends.. What can you say about that?
Miki: Um, I don't know much about that topic..
Miki: But I guess they weren't real?
Miki: Judging from his video, it looked like Ishizu-san used video games and other things as something that could help him escape from his real life problems.
Miki: And because of his mental health issues, he wasn't able to tell which one is fiction and which one is reality and started to believe the connections and relationships he formed in those games were real.
Hinode: .. *laughs*
Hinode: Oh, sorry, sorry. It's just..
Hinode: You know, there could've been some kind of twist, like, imagine him actually having so many girlfriends and not remembering him killing them..
Hinode: But no, he was just being delusional.
Hinode: I guess we expected too much from him.
Hinode: But I wonder just how he met that girl. To be honest, I feel like they weren't in any kind of relationship and he just made that all up and started to think that his fantasies are actually real.
Miki: .. You're saying he started to stalk a random girl and believed that she's actually his ex-girlfriend?
Hinode: It's possible.
Miki: ...
Miki: "W-why do I feel so disgusted whenever I think about Ishizu-san?"
Miki: So, when I told him about his verdict..
Miki: H-he didn't take it well.
Miki: He started panicking and mumbling something about it not making any sense and..
Miki: He tried to attack me, haha..
Miki: But he still wasn't able to touch me, so.. I'm okay.
Miki: "I still don't understand why the prisoners can touch Eiji-san, but they can't touch me.."
Hinode: Hmm..
Hinode: It looks like we've made the right decision, but this guy will definitely cause us a lot of trouble.
Miki: Right..
Miki: Prisoner 004, Chiba Naomi.
Hinode: She was a hard one.
Miki: May I ask why you voted her guilty, Hinode-san? I thought you'd sympathize with her..
Hinode: Well, you see..
Hinode: I hate seeing people in pain, I really do. And I don't want Naomi-san to end up in even more pain. However..
Hinode: First of all, her victim was a child. A ten year old. Who knows how long his life could've been if it wasn't for her.
Hinode: And second of all, her motive. Didn't she reveal that her killing that child was her "fighting for independence"?
Hinode:*laughs* God, this sounds so weird.
Hinode: She just got tired of that kid and got mad at him for calling her out.
Hinode: Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that kids can't be.. "evil", but so far I haven't seen any serious threats in her videos. It was just him laughing at her and "bullying" her in a way.
Hinode: But isn't she 30 years old? She's a teacher. She should be able to handle this. It's almost like she got so used to all of her students being so nice and polite, she completely forgot that kids can be annoying.
Hinode: And.. I think adults like that deserve to be punished.
Miki: .. Maybe you're right.
Hinode: Also, I read her answers and she seems to really dislike Asahi-san. Just what is her deal with kids..
Miki: .. C-can I also read that later?
Hinode: Sure.
Miki: "Why do I feel happy that I agreed to vote her guilty now?"
Hinode: By the way, how did she react to her verdict?
Miki: .. She wasn't happy about it.
Miki: It took her a moment to realize what happened and then she just started laughing uncontrollably. And then she sighed, looked at me and said..
Miki: "Well, you're the guard. Who am I to say that your decisions don't make any sense?"
Hinode: Doesn't sound like something a prisoner who truly wanted to be voted guilty would say.
Hinode: Who knows, maybe she was pretending to be nicer than she really is.
Miki: I feel like it's more complicated than that..
Miki: "It's like Chiba-san really does think she's guilty, but deep inside she wants someone to say that they forgive her.."
Miki: Prisoner 005, Sanada Kei.
Miki: .. Watching his video was.. hard.
Hinode: And painful.
Hinode: Just what did those women do to him?
Miki: .. I think it's related to those scars Eiji-san had mentioned.
Hinode: .. But why would they do that to him?
Miki: There was this moment in the video, when one of the women found some of the photographs made by Kei-san and she looked.. disgusted.
Miki: Maybe you already know about.. uh.. Kei-san's job.
Hinode: I do. You think she found those particular photos?
Miki: .. I think so.
Hinode: I find it interesting that Kei-san got so scared. I thought a person with a job like that would be more careful and would have a plan in case something like that happens.
Hinode: Maybe he believed that he would never get caught?
Miki: I'm just trying to understand..
Miki: Did those women try to..
Miki: Attack him, maybe? Did they think that he was going to do the same to them and that's why he invited them?
Hinode: But hey, why else would he invite them?
Miki: W-well..
Miki: ...
Miki: Actually, you're right. Why did he invite them to his house?
Miki: He had so many photographs of those women and it looked like he had some kind of plan..
Hinode: .. Perhaps he was already thinking of murdering them?
Miki: B-but why would he do that?! What did those women even do to him? I mean, before attacking him and all..
Hinode: From what I remember, those women also appeared in his first video and if I'm not wrong, they were dating his friends.
Hinode: Maybe.. something happened between him and his friends?
Miki: .. I feel like I might have an idea.
Hinode: Really? Please share.
Miki: I-I'm not so sure right now and I need more time to figure this out, but..
Miki: Kei-san's.. "partner" played a big part in his second video. And he also appeared in the first one too.
Miki: I have a feeling that it's not just because he's important to Kei-san, but it's also because he played an important role in Kei-san's crime as well.
Miki: Some lyrics of his song were also.. strange..
Miki: "Do I wanna be seen as strong? Do I wanna be seen as weak? I don't know, but just hug me already".
Miki: Or "Maybe I should accept that this world won't accept me".
Miki: Just what could those lyrics possibly mean?..
Miki: Oh, and when I told him about his verdict, he got really surprised and when I confirmed that it's true and he was forgiven, he laughed and asked..
Miki: "Just how does the guards' thought process work?"
Miki: H-he probably asked that because of us voting him guilty that last time. He looked happy, though he asked me about Eiji-san's condition..
Miki: And I couldn't give him an answer.
Miki: Prisoner 006, Yoshioka Eiko.
Miki: .. Both of us agreed that she should be voted guilty.
Miki: She's a bad influence for both Ishizu-san and Kei-san and she also doesn't feel any remorse for what she did.
Miki: I feel a bit.. sorry for her though.
Miki: I mean.. What if her victim really wasn't a good boyfriend-
Hinode: Does that mean he deserved to die?
Miki: N-no! No, of course not!
Miki: But.. I don't know. I can't say that Yoshioka-san is a bad person, but she clearly treats some of her fellow prisoners horribly.
Miki: And she doesn't feel any regret and thinks it's completely okay to do those things.
Miki: And also.. Her reaction to Kei-san hurting Eiji-san worries me.
Miki: She said that if anything happens, Eiji-san should tell her.
Hinode: .. Hey, wasn't it Yurika-san who broke Eiji-san's arm?
Miki: *nods*
Miki: .. Oh no.
Hinode: I think we should keep an eye on both of them, just in case.
Miki: When I told her about her verdict, she just rolled her eyes and said:
Miki: "Don't know what you saw in that video, but I guess it's understandable".
Hinode: .. At least she's chill when it comes to that.
Miki: She did ask me about Eiji-san and her eyes looked a little bit darker than usual, so..
Miki: M-maybe restraining her a bit wouldn't hurt.
Miki: Prisoner 007, Yano Asahi.
Miki: We decided to vote him innocent.
Miki: He.. he didn't look so well when me and Eiji-san interrogated him last time.
Miki: I don't know if he would be able to calm down if it wasn't for me.
Miki: Ah, it's not like I'm bragging or anything-
Hinode: No, no, you should be proud of yourself. You've calmed him down and comforted him when he needed it. You did a good job.
Miki: .. Ehehe~
Miki: His video was.. one of the hardest ones to watch.
Hinode: It clearly showed him as not the best person and he was more than okay with taking advantage of his adoptive mother's money.
Hinode: However, we should also remember that these videos are not only showing us the prisoners' extracted memories, but also their thoughts and we can see everything in the way the prisoners themselves saw their crimes.
Hinode: Do you think it's possible that Asahi-san feels guilty for his murder and the way he treated his adoptive mother?
Miki: .. I think it is. I doubt he would have reacted in the same way if he didn't feel anything. He was panicking, he refused to talk about it and he clearly looked traumatized. If he didn't feel bad about his murder, he wouldn't show any of those emotions.
Hinode: It's almost like you're speaking from experience, Miki-san.
Miki: .. W-what do you mean by-
Hinode: Or maybe you just understand children really well, haha.
Miki: .. Ahem.
Miki: And also.. he tries really hard to forget about what happened.
Miki: He never calls her his mother, only "that woman", not only because he doesn't see her as his mother, but also because it's almost like he's trying to push those memories away.
Miki: She's not his victim or anything, she's just.. "that woman".
Miki: "And also.."
Miki: ".. I can't believe I had to see him again while I was watching Marito's video."
Miki: "I almost broke the screen when I saw him, haha.."
Hinode: Miki-san, is everything alright? You look.. pale.
Miki: I-I'm fine, I'm fine.
Miki: .. Hm, come to think of it..
Miki: I'm not sure if you know about it, Hinode-san, but Asahi-san used to have..
Miki: Um.. An "imaginary friend" based on his mother. Or maybe his "idea" of a perfect mother.
Miki: And I've just realized that he kinda.. stopped talking to her or about her.
Miki: Maybe something happened-
Hinode: Maybe it's because he has you now?
Miki: .. Huh?
Hinode: O-oh, don't get me wrong! I don't mean it in a "he sees you as a mother figure" way.
Hinode: I mean it in more of a "he's not alone anymore" way.
Miki: .. Oh.
Miki: .. When I told him about his verdict, he looked really happy.
Miki: He even ran to hug me and thanked me, haha.
Miki: ".. I wonder if he will remember who I am one day. But I don't want to tell him yet, I'm afraid I will make him remember we had to go through.."
Miki: Prisoner 008, Maruyama Yurika.
Miki: .. Guilty. She's guilty.
Hinode: She broke Eiji-san's arm, threatened to start hurting the other prisoners, is definitely capable of doing that, considering that she had attacked Asahi-san in the past and almost attacked Kei-san and her video was..
Hinode: Even worse than Kei-san and Asahi-san's videos combined.
Miki: But I still don't understand anything. I still don't know how her crime went and we're supposed to judge them based on their crimes!..
Hinode: Not necessarily. We can judge them based on anything.
Hinode: And her being dangerous for us and other prisoners is most certainly a valid reason to vote her guilty.
Hinode: As for her video..
Hinode: I wonder just what kind of job she did while working at a maid cafe.
Hinode: It definitely doesn't seem legal.
Miki: If she has experience with torturing people and kidnapping them..
Miki: .. Huh.
Miki: T-there's this scene in her video where Maruyama-san and her.. manager, I assume, are filling everyone's buckets with some kind of liquid. And she says that "Everyone has their own needs and it's our job to satisfy them".
Miki: I think we should think about that scene more to understand what kind of job she had.
Miki: And I feel like her crime is related to her job too..
Miki: Ah, but that's just my opinion though-
Hinode: You know you sound like a real detective right now? *laughs*
Hinode: Seriously, Miki-san, you're really smart. Sorry for just sitting and listening to you like this, but I really am impressed.
Miki: .. Haha..
Hinode: W-why is your face becoming so red-
Miki: A-anyway, just as I've expected, she got mad at me when I told her about her verdict.
Hinode: Did she try to-
Miki: Yes, she tried to attack me just like Ishizu-san, but I just knocked her out. It's fine.
Hinode: .. Knocked her out?..
Hinode: Miki-san, you're stronger than I thought..
Hinode: .. We will definitely have to restrain her, huh..
Miki: Prisoner 009, Kuroki Riku.
Miki: .. Hinode-san-
Hinode: Yes, this is my brother. Yes.
Miki: .. I'm sorry.
Hinode: It's fine. I voted him guilty myself.
Miki: B-but why?! Why would you vote your own brother guilty? Do you want to see him in pain?!
Hinode: It's because I know everything about his crime, Miki-san.
Miki: !
Hinode: When everyone started talking about Yue-kun's death, I knew that Riku had something to do with it.
Hinode: Riku told everyone just how much he loved Yue-kun, but he was honest with me and even when he didn't say anything, I could see in his eyes just how much he hated that guy.
Hinode: He wanted him dead, Miki-san. And he would do anything to achieve his goal.
Miki: .. But why didn't you stop him?
Hinode: .. When even waking up is too physically painful for you, you don't have enough time and energy to talk your brother out of murdering his best friend.
Miki: .. May I ask what was your first thought after you found out about Shiozaki-san's death?
Hinode: I just turned to Riku, who was watching TV with me and quietly asked him if it was him.
Miki: And what did he do?
Hinode: He smiled and left the room.
Hinode: Listen, I don't want to see him in pain. I don't want to hurt him. But I want Riku to understand that even though he really was a victim in a way..
Hinode: Murder isn't an answer. At least it definitely wasn't the right answer for him.
Hinode: He really could've just talked to Yue-kun. Maybe Yue-kun wouldn't like it, but at least Riku could say that he tried.
Hinode: But instead he decided to abuse his popularity and turn all of his classmates into loyal dogs that followed his every move and listened to his every command.
Miki: So what you're saying is..
Hinode: Yes, Miki-san. Riku made his entire class and possibly other students bully Yue-kun into committing suicide.
Miki: .. B-but do you think his death really was-
Hinode: I doubt it. Especially considering the way Riku's first video ends.
Miki: .. When I told him about his verdict..
Miki: .. He just asked me to bring him some hair dye later.
Miki: He said he wants to dye his hair black before he gets punished, haha..
Hinode: Are you planning on doing that?
Miki: O-of course! Even if we voted him guilty, I still want to fulfill his request before..
Miki: Well.. you know.
Miki: And finally..
Miki: Prisoner 010, Himura Reina.
Miki: .. We voted her innocent. Again.
Hinode: She didn't like that, did she?
Miki: She has to accept that it's the only way she can be saved. I don't think Himura-san deserves to be punished.
Miki: If Himura-san can accept that she deserves to be forgiven.. I think everything will get better for her after that.
Hinode: We never see her killing someone directly. It's always her witnessing a murder or hiding the body..
Hinode: No matter how much she tries to portray herself as guilty, her videos can't lie.
Miki: And.. Now we know that her "victim" was her little brother.
Miki: But I still don't understand what happened to him. If Himura-san is somehow responsible for his death, but she's not the murderer, then..
Miki: Who is?
Hinode: Maybe his death was an accident, but it could've been prevented if Himura-san was there?
Miki: If that's the case..
Miki: ...
Miki: "I wanted to say that she doesn't deserve to be here, but also.."
Miki: "Marito running away was an accident too. I didn't mean for that to happen."
Miki: "So if we're guilty of doing almost the same thing.."
Hinode: Hey, Miki-san.
Hinode: When you say that she doesn't deserve to be punished, does that mean you think that somebody else in this prison deserves to be punished?
Miki:...
Miki: I-it's okay.
Miki: When Eiji-san was punishing them, he was.. I have to say that he was really cruel for no reason.
Miki: I really do respect Eiji-san, but he punished them not to save them, but to torture them.
Miki: But when I punish them.. I do it because I love everyone here.
Miki: Uh, even Maruyama-san.
Miki: I really do want to save them. I want them to get better.
Miki: So if punishing them will help them understand that they've done something wrong and they will try to change for the better..
Miki: I don't see any problem with it.
Hinode: .. Heh. I see.
Hinode: It's actually a good thing though because I was worried that you might not like the new punishment method.
Miki: .. The new punishment method?
Hinode: Well, since it used to be Eiji-san's job, now we're the ones who have to punish the guilty prisoners, right?
Miki: B-but what about you not wanting to-
Hinode: I hate seeing people in pain, Miki-san.
Hinode: I hate seeing them in physical pain.
Hinode: I feel like punishing everyone physically is just so.. tasteless. Everyone can cry and suffer if you hurt them too badly, what's so special about it?
Hinode: I've spent my whole life in pain like that. I know what it's like and I hate it when it's used as a punishment.
Hinode: But this method isn't about the physical pain. It's more about..
Hinode: Here. Do you see this little thing?
Miki: It looks like some kind of.. remote, maybe? It's pretty small though..
Hinode: Yes, you're supposed to keep it in your pocket actually. Make sure to always have it on you.
Miki: But what does it do?
Hinode: Well, you need everyone's memories to see their videos, right? Otherwise their videos simply can't be created.
Hinode: And this thing..
Hinode: This thing extracts everyone's memories, but doesn't turn them into videos or whatever. It simply keeps them inside.
Hinode: You can also give those memories back if you so desire.
Miki: ...
Hinode: I know, this might sound strange, Miki-san, but considering that we have a whole music video machine, this shouldn't be surprising.
Miki: .. And.. Why exactly do we need this machine? What are we going to use it for?
Hinode: I have one with me as well. There's two of them.
Hinode: So, uh.. You see, Miki-san.. *laughs*
Hinode: I was planning to kind of.. play with the guilty prisoners' memories a little bit.
Miki: !
Hinode: For example, maybe we can take the memories of their childhood and see what kind of people they would become without them. Maybe we can take the memories of their murder and see how they would act.
Hinode: We can't actually watch the memories we've taken from them though, which is a shame.
Miki: .. And.. How will they-
Hinode: Ah, the physical side effects may be..
Hinode: *takes a breath* Dissociation, dizziness, headache, anxiety, depression, nausea, mood swings, even bigger memory loss in the process..
Hinode: But at least it's not cutting their fingers off or beating them up, right?
Miki: .. Can't we come up with a better punishment?
Hinode: But I thought you wanted to save everyone, Miki-san.
Hinode: It's not going to hurt. They're not going to feel any pain. They're just gonna forget some things, actually, it might make them happier.
Hinode: And if anything goes wrong, we can just give those memories back to them.
Miki: .. A weird question, but where did you get this machine?
Hinode: Oh, uh..
Hinode: The rabbit thing from earlier gave it to me.
Miki: ...
Miki: I have a bad feeling about this.
Hinode: Come on, Miki-san, you know we have to do something to the guilty prisoners.
Miki: Can't we just restrain them?! Can't we just lock them up or something?!
Hinode: You will be in control, Miki-san.
Hinode: You can always adjust the settings. You can even choose how many memories you wish to extract.
Hinode: You can go for a small memory loss or a big one.
Hinode: It's your choice. They don't have to lose all of their memories and they don't have to lose them forever.
Hinode: It's not like they're going to turn into mindless zombies and their brains are going to melt.
Miki: ...
Hinode: .. Are you ready to give it a try?
Miki: .. I-I'll go pay a visit to Ishizu-san.

???: It seems like the third trial is going to start soon. Are you excited?
???: Hm?.. I don't know, should I?
???: It's like.. I want to know how all of this ends, but at the same time..
???: These guards are way too slow. They're not even trying to uncover this place's secrets.
???: But.. Isn't that actually good for us? I mean, that would be a pain to deal with.
???: True, but it also would be more entertaining.
???: These guys just feel like lab rats to me. They're so obsessed with their morals, they don't feel like real people to me, haha.
???: "Everyone is guilty!" "No, everyone is innocent!" A bunch of clowns, that's who they are.
???: *sighs* Well, at least the future guards should be more fun.
???: Ah, have you already made your choice?
???: Yeah. Here, take a look.
???: ...
???: .. O-oh. U-understood.
???: Sorry about this. I know it sounds like I don't care, but..
???: No, no, I.. I understand.
???: I will-
???: Woah, this tea tastes really good!
???: Oh, sorry for interrupting you. Anyway, can you tell Jackalope to bring this to, uh.. you know, that girl?
???: S-sure, but.. Sorry if this sounds rude, but why can't you do it yourself?
???: He's taking a nap right now. Getting enough sleep is very important.
???: S-so you're just telling me to sit there and wait until he wakes up?
???: Yep.
???: ...
???: Y-you really love him, huh..
???: Okay. Well, if you'll excuse me.
(sounds of footsteps that become more and more quiet)
???: He's a good guy.
???: But sadly, good guys like him either don't live long here or just get taken advantage of.
???: I'll prefer it to be the second option-
???: Huh?
???: What's that noise..
???: .. The third prisoner.

Ji Ho gave a rough direction where the meteorites could be found and the Boys (minus Saiwa, since he was out of the crew - in mutual agreement), Jonathan and Lenny took a shuttle down to the surface. Axl, the Axolotl, Malfoy and Skully are watching the ship.
Ji Ho was in awe: "What a beautiful little planet! And so much water. Too bad I can't swim here." Jack: "Actually it's a moon. It's circling the planet. You can still see it behind the rocks. Over there." Ji Ho: "Oh there it is! It looks so close!" Kiyoshi: "The water is probably toxic anyway. Look how it glows ö.ö' " They walked for a while and took in the view, the colors and the strange flora. Jack: "Is it still far?" Ji Ho: "We must be near, but I'm starting to lose the connection."
Vlad sighed. He knows what that means. He can barely keep himself together doing all this bond magic without being able to find some release... So he took Ji Ho a bit away from the others and put everything in his kiss - so they could finally find the meteorites and this torture would end.
After poor Vlad had regained his compusure, they went back to the others. Before they left though, he had to promise Ji Ho they would continue what they started in their quarters once they were back on the ship...
Ji Ho lead them around a rock formation not far from where Vlad had kissed him. And really... Ji Ho started running: "The meteorites! They are here!" Jack was just as excited and followed him suit. Vlad was concerned. Why are their meteorites contained? Who put them in there? Kiyoshi must have thought the same. They almost yelled at the same time: "Be careful!"
There was a full setup that had been built above a glowing crack in the ground. The meteorites in two bubbling tubes, held by bioluminescent roots -that looked exactly like those from Kiyoshi's tree! And there were two portals under a huge glass dome that started to rotate when they came near.
Jack: "How is this possible? It's like a modified Therapy Game setup. Who built this? And who knew that we - and the meteorites - were coming here?" Vlad: "This could be a trap..." Jonathan checked the main interface. Jonathan: "I was able to log in with my password. Not even Vanië knows it..." Jonathan checked the code for a while. Jonathan: "It's just like with Tiny Can. That's my signature code. Just more... advanced. I also must have built this - in the future. Somehow Future Me knew the meteorites would land here." Jack: "Amazing. And weird."
Jeb: "So Future You - or maybe Future Jack and Me too - seem to want Jack and me to enter the game frome here? But why?" They went over to the crack in the ground. Jonathan: "Maybe this place is special somehow? The roots seem to consume the matter from the crack and lead it to the liquid in the tanks with the meteorites." Jeb: "This actually spares us a lot of time and effort. We should get Tiny Can down here and get ingame to rescue the Night Shadow, Conny, Val and Jino. What do you think, Jack? Ready?" Jack: "I was born ready!" Jonathan let out a shaky breath: "Ok, then. Tiny Can and I will remain here while the others should go back on board. Even though this all looks very reassuring and high-end - we shouldn't take any risks and cause interferences between our universes. Vlad and Kiyoshi - we stay in touch while you recalibrate the transporter beam so we can beam them back to their universe as soon as they step out of the game. You need to have an eye on the monitor all the time. Ji Ho and Vlad can take turns with you. But it shouldn't take long - since ingame time runs faster."
Kiyoshi didn't want to make it hard for Jack, so he just reminded him of his promise to be careful. Jack: "I will. I want another round in that cake after all ;) " Jack didn't want to make it hard for Kiyoshi either.
And when Kiyoshi and Jack kissed goodbye, Jeb's heart went heavy. He hadn't had a chance to talk to Saiwa after their first woohoo... It can't be helped. They will get the others out of that game and be back soon - hopefully. Sai probably won't even know they'd been gone. Even if they'd spent hours ingame, only a few minutes would have passed here in the meantime. Jeb doesn't even know what to say to him... Instead of taking Sai in his arms and take care of him after their first woohoo, he panicked - and left it to Jack... What do you say after an encounter like that? After messing up their first woohoo, it was everything Sai had ever wanted ö.Ö'
Ji Ho went over to Jeb and hugged him. Ji Ho: "It will all be well in the end, hm? We found the meteorites - and after Jack and you rescued the others, we can go back home. We are all going to stay together - always." This should probably sound cheesy. But when it comes to Ji Ho, Jeb goes all squishy. It was like hugging a ray of sunshine. And he believed him. Jeb blinked his treacherous tears away: "It will. We will *Jeb hugged Ji Ho tighter* Until later."
And then Kiyoshi, Vlad and Ji Ho took the shuttle back to the ship and sent Tiny Can with their equipment back to the moon's surface.
Jonathan, Jack and Jeb connected Tiny Can to the setup. Jack and Jeb put on their gear and stepped under the dome.
Jack: "We can do this!" Jeb: "See you on the other side!"
Jonathan: "Ok. Starting the Therapy Game save in 3 - 2 - 1...!"
And then they were gone. Jonathan: "And now we wait." Jonathan just hoped they'll do well. Even though Saiwa was determined to leave everything behind again and go with him - Jonathan knew he would kill him should something happen to his friends - especially Jeb. He would figure something out to make him stay with them. From what he'd seen over the past days, they love Saiwa regardless. Despite being so upset about his betrayal. Saiwa was lucky to find such good friends - and someone to love. After all that had happened to him. And maybe Jonathan could even stay with them in the Otherworld. The Council wouldn't find him there. They'd be safe.

The Kazama & Mishima’s naming traditions and the Next Gens of Kazama’s children!
Alright so I've been cooking this for a while since they dropped Jun's parents name on T8. Bear in mind, I'm in no way fluent in Japanese nor I'm a native, but I have google on my side to educate me better about Japanese naming systems and the kanji they used for naming the child (jinmeiyo and joyo).
I just want to named XiaoJin’s future babies so bad, kay?! Lol. Even though I know Jin is opposed to any plan of continuing the lineage (which is heartbreaking 😭💔) but the XiaoJin's shipper in me cannot be extinguished!! 🔥🔥🔥 I still want to named them! Lol.
Anyway! Feel free to correct me with your information! I'm open to any kind of knowledge 💖
Psst! If you don't want to read these longass founds and explanation, you can jump right away to the bottom of this post, there’s a pic that summarise these texts, lol.
Alrightt! Without further ado, let's deep dive into Kazama/Mishima lore!!
================================================
.
.
.
So...
Tekken 8 has finally dropped some lore about Kazama family, and it's about Jun to be exact. There, we can get a glimpse of Jun's parent name:
Soon after, a Japanese KazuJun's fan dropped this tweet :

Assuming a native Japanese able to decipher those characters correctly, now we finally have Jun's parents name kanji:
純一 the father, and 恵 the mother.
As we all know, kanji has several way of reading. Cited from pon-navi, there are two typical ways of reading kanji, kun-yomi and on-yomi. In addition, there is a reading system called "jinmei kun" which is used only for names.
"Soo?? What's their name?! How do we know the correct reading?!"
Here's the thing!!
Tekken has giving us hints that Mishima family has a tradition to give their children with their kanji name, following a common practice in Japan. Let's take a look at their kanji.
仁八, Jinpachi
平八, Heihachi & 一美, Kazumi
一八, Kazuya
Notice the similarities? You’re right! The Mishima child inherited their parents' kanji! The sons inherit '八' kanji, with Heihachi inherited '八' from Jinpachi and Kazuya inherited both kanji from Heihachi (八) and Kazumi (一).
As it is a common practice, the same can be said with the Kazama family! Although in their case, they might not be inheriting the kanji but instead with the reading of the said character. Or maybe phonetically similar would be correct here.
For example, this is Jun's kanji: 準
This character '準' can be read several ways, some of them are : Jun, shun, setsu, taira, toshi, narau, nori, hitoshi.
And one of her father kanji is: 純
'純' can be read as : kito, Jun, atsu, atsushi, aya, itaru, ito, kiyoshi, sunao, sumi, tsuna, to, makoto, yoshi.
Have you noticed it? That's right! '純' and '準' can be both read as Jun! It means that Jun's kanji has the same reading as her father's kanji, although they have different kanji characters.
From here, we can assume that Jun's father can be called Jun____ as well.
As for the other kanji, '一' can be read as: hito, hitotsu, hajime, ichi, itsu, i, osamu, kuni, susumu, tada, chi, nobu, hajimu, hajime, hi, hiji, hide, hitoshi, makoto, masashi, moto, ka, kazu, kata, atsu.
Looking from the lists, together his name could be read most plausibly as : Junichi, Junitsu, or Juni. Imo, Junichi sounds the best, so yeah, I completely agree with the KazuJun's fan.
Now we all know that Kazama has similar sounding name with different kanji.
On the other hand, the mother has '恵' that can be read as: megumu, megumi, kei, e, aya, sato, satoshi, shige, toshi, yasu, yoshi.
While it could be anything, I think it's either Megumi or Megumu. Why? Because I found out that '恵' has the same reading as one of Jin's kanji reading! lol. Let's take a look at Jin's kanji!
This is Jin's kanji: 仁
It can be read as: Jin, ni, nin, kimi, kimu, sato, sane, shinobu, tadashi, to, toyo, nobu, nori, hisashi, hito, hitoshi, hiroshi, masa, masashi, mi, megumi, megumu, yasushi, yoshi.
Do you find it? Both '恵' and '仁' can be read as Megumi/Megumu! lol.
One of the speculation is that Jun named her son Jin as a sign of respect to her father in law, Jinpachi (仁八). Even though Jin is a Mishima by blood, he doesn't inherit the '八' character as he was raised in Kazama family. So he inherited just the '仁' character. Besides, it also sounds almost the same. Jun.. Jin.. It's phonetically similar, right? And if Jin were born a girl, I bet he would be called Megumi/Megumu instead just like his grandmother, lol.
Thus, we can safely conclude that the Mishima has the habit to inherit their kanji characters while the Kazama inherit the reading of their kanji's name.
================================================
AND NOW! HERE COMES THE MAIN DISH!!!! 💖💖💖
What about the future Kazama kids?! Let’s move on to that and do the real cooking here for the XiaoJin's babies name! :D
We have seen Jin's kanji, but what about Xiayou?? Xiaoyu is Chinese by birth, and her hanzi (Chinese characters) are 凌曉雨 and リン・シャオユウ is how it's written in Japanese katakana.
凌, Líng: surpass / リン (Rin)
曉, Xiao: dawn / シャオ (Shao)
雨, Yu: rain / ユウ (Yu)
Now, I'd like to think that they would combine or use either their character or its reading for their baby! Also! They might use some of Jin's family name's characters :D
Here are some of my ideas for the babies name :
For boy:
晨一, Shinichi, a portmanteau of Jin and Xiaoyu's nickname and kanji inherited from Junichi/Kazuya.
Explanation: the first kanji '晨' means Dawn, which has the same meaning as Xiaoyu hanzi '曉'. The kanji reading is also the combination of Xiaoyu's nickname and Jin. Shao+Jin=Shin. It also sounds similar. Jin, Shin, it's rhyming, right? Just like Jun and Jin!
For the second kanji '一' I'd like to think the story behind it was that Xiaoyu wanted to preserve Kazama/Mishima naming practice but Jin was reluctant to do it. In the end, they decided to take the kanji '一' which was present in both Kazama and Mishima, that's in Junichi (純一) and Kazuya (一八).
For girl :
凌, Shino, a portmanteau of Xiaoyu's nickname and Jin, same character as Xiao’s hanzi that could also be the feminine ver. of Shin.
Explanation: it’s rather simple, I use the same character in Xiaoyu’s hanzi that has different reading while also the combination of Jin and Xiaoyu’s name. In Chinese ‘凌’ read as Ling but in Japanese, ‘凌’ has several reading. One of them is Shino. Shino could be the sister or the twin sister of Shinichi, in case XiaoJin have two child or twins in the future :)
琳, Rin, a kanji that has the same reading as Xiaoyu’s name and phonetically similar with Jin.
Explanation: I think this one is easy to understand! Rin and Jin, phonetically similar like what Kazama would've named their children. It’s also Xiaoyu’s surname in Japanese. The kanji ‘琳’ itself means ‘beautiful jewel’ and in Chinese the hanzi means 'beautiful jade’, and it reminds them of the greens in Yakushima forest, Jin's home.
.
.
.
================================================
Alright, now that I’ve spilled out all of the stuff inside my chest and calmed down, I’ll give you a simple name chart for those who don’t want to read wall of texts, lol. Hope this helps!
I guess that’s all for now, lol. I’ll add my thoughts if I had any later on. Thank you for coming to my TED talk! 😂🙏

🙈🙉🙊 We all have favorite Sims, that’s no secret. But would you dare to share something about the Sim you like the least? List 3 facts about your least favorite sim and challenge other Simblrs to do the same. 🙈🙉🙊
It's NOT Kaori's fault that she is one of my least favourites. It's the fact that being a professional snowboarder is so BORING. Like all you can do at level 10 is take a POV video on the slope and upload it for 150 simoleons in royalties. She can't enter any competitions to get cool prizes or anything. When Charlie is at work playing just her is so boring. That's why I made her accept an offer to join the astronaut career but I might get her to quit.
She and her wife have been grinding the climbing skill so that I can do a snowy escape climb but in my rotations save I have a difficulty adjustment on for skills (because for example Keira having level 10 fitness at around 21 years old was ridiculous). Anyway it's meant it has taken forever. BUT they are finally level 6 so next time I'm going to get them to attempt.
Honestly as soon as they are done I might take them out of played households. I mean they don't want any kids really which makes things boring for me. I don't know, I just haven't been vibing with them this year. Anyway, facts...
She rolled being a lesbian but did enjoy her relationship with Kiyoshi at the time
It's her family's responsibility to look after the mountain. Superstition is that if she were to leave Mt Komorebi with the idea of living somewhere else long term she would die
She and Charlie met on a blind date

Truth and dare:
- 🌵 yours or someone else's, fanfiction related or not
- 🍄 I think I saw you like Eruhan or maybe I am wrong so forget I asked for it
- 🧩 and does it happen often?
Thank you Kit 🩷
hey Kiyoshi! i'm working on an idea for the smut prompt you sent, thank you for this ask as well 😘🫴❤️
-> wanna play writer's truth and dare with me?
🌵 share the link to a playlist you love
i don't really use playlists! i have mood "playlists" that are a mess and a couple songs long only on my phone each, and i go through them depending on what feeling i'm trying to tap into, or i listen to That One Song when writing a fic (usually the title song, if there's one), but that's about it. and sometimes i write sweet lovey dovey sex while listening to screamo metal, so you know x)
🍄 share a head canon for one of your favourite ships or pairings
i do love eruhan! i wrote a few fics where there's only hints of them being a thing or former thing and levihan's the real Topic, but i also posted one completely eruhan-centered fic that focuses on the ENDLESS angst potential those two have together imo.
one of my headcanons about them is that they're imperfect for each other and kinda ill-suited, in the sense that i think they highten each other's respective issues. for ex, i hc Hange thinks they love Erwin more than he loves them; thinking being the key word here, because of course Erwin loves them back just as much (in fact i hc he had a massive crush on them from day one and it took like, five years of him flirting and both Nana and Mike nudging them for Hange to realize what was going on) but he just sucks at letting himself express it and can be very cold and distant (in a totally different way from Levi's abrasive brand of caring, btw, if you were to compare them to levihan) which clashes poorly with Hange's whole-hearted and effusive nature (when they're not focusing on their research, obvi). on the other hand, i think Erwin likely tells himself he enjoys Hange's intense work ethics because he feels that allows him to detach himself from the feelings he has for them (since they're both hella busy), but i think he probably yearns to show the same kind of freedom they allow themself in how they express emotions when they do, and it takes him by surprise each time (now, whether he lets it show or not... is another story). i think he's jealous of them, in a way, of how responsibilities-free they seem (are not actually, obviously) even though he also ironically wants to be where he is, and his relationship with them's biggest flaw is how it reveals that his way of coping with his own feelings and pain in general is inefficient, painful and dangerous.
they're doomed as fuck though, i almost never hc them with a happy ending (unlike how i hc erurihan or levihan)
🧩 what will make you click away from a fanfiction immediately?
hmmm... i guess very shitty punctuation that makes it impossible to understand what's going on, completely ooc dialogue/actions that aren't put in enough context to make them believable or acceptable to me (and i'm veeeery open minded), non consensual shit that wasn't tagged appropriately.. that's all i can think of right now!
it does happen pretty often, because i like to add to my for later list every fic that fits the tags/ships i looked for that day, regardless of statistics, and that means i cast a wide net that needs reclibrating at a later date haha

Kiyoshi: Thank you for meeting me for coffee this morning..
Brooke: I'm excited to have a kid free morning together... But I need to know - Is this a date?
Kiyoshi: Would you like it to be a date?
Brooke: I don't know if I'm really in a position to be dating...
Kiyoshi: Then we may be in the same position.
Brooke: What do you mean?
Kiyoshi: I will not be in Willow Creek for long... I wouldn't mind some company during my stay.
Brooke: So... something casual?
Kiyoshi: I would enjoy having someone to do some sight seeing with if you would like to join me?
Brooke: ... Y'know what? Yeah. Yeah, I would like to join you.

Does 'professional shipper' mean the same thing as pro-shipper or pro-ship? Pro-shipper is often misread as 'problematic shipper' and the ppl that use the term say the pro is 'for' and not 'problematic' and none of that is 'professional', so does it literally mean professional shipper as in they like to ship they're favorite ships and do so in their way, like how you ship your favorite characters?
To be completely clear about this, there's is no reference on their blog, they just have a large blinking on their pinned post that says 'professional shipper', and I know that commonly(?) Proshippers are bad, not good, because 'problematic'.
Idk I just got worried and I'm making sure it's safe to follow this blog because its a rp blog and their ring my favorite character in that fandom T^T
Also your smart when it comes to internet terms and their actual definitions. The wiki is not making sense.
(I got basically all of this from a wiki so if my knowledge on the subject sucks that why)
Nope! Professional shipper is just a silly way of saying that you like shipping, for example, i would say i am a professional shipper because i love shipping OTOME x kiyoshi, its kinda like saying professional asshole or professional silly lil guy, its just a fun word you put in the beginning of something :3

Chicken Nanban and Grilled Salmon Sets
Konnichiwa, tombler!
Today we are visiting the country of the rising sun through its cuisine... and I'm also introducing new characters! Can you guess who?
It's Vienna parents Aria River and Kiyoshi Ito!
Long story short, Aria has actually passed away a while back but I resurrected her using ambrosia -- which is very fitting to the current event happening in-game! Before her death, she was a Spin Doctor and a five-star celebrity married to the love of her life. Currently, she's all that except of the marriage part. The vows really do be sayin' 'till death do us apart', huh.
I actually missed playing in their household because their house is a gorgeous, traditional Japanese house repurposed to appeal more luxurious. Lately Kiyoshi himself likes show the Komorebi-go grandpa vibes to his grandchildren; wearing yukata more often and cook Japanese food every time the family hold a gathering.
The recipe we're making with Aria today is Japanese dishes you'd often see in a Japanese shokudo -- chicken nanban set and grilled salmon set. I merged the two in one post because aside from the main protein, the side dishes on both sets are exactly the same. The recipes are made by @oni28 (you can download the recipes here). You would also need to install Oni's Recipe Pack Mod which is updated regularly so I just link their Patreon and you can scroll down a little to find it.
Now, let's begin!
Chicken nanban originates from the southern of Japan. The original meaning of "nanban" has a pejorative tone -- literal translation "southern barbarian", but as time goes it becomes a term to denote something foreign and highly desirable. The main difference between regular karaage (Japanese fried chicken) and chicken nanban is the sweet and tangy nanban sauce which is inspired by Portuguese cuisine who came to Japan in the 1500s.
For the nanban sauce (nanbanbanzu in Japanese), combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring the mixture to a simmer and continue until the sugar completely dissolved.
Butterfly the chicken breast, coat with all-purpose flour and then dip in egg wash. Deep-fry for four minutes, then take out the chicken breasts and let it rest. Deep-fry for the second time for 30 seconds, let them rest again, and then coat the fried chicken breasts with the nanban sauce we made earlier.
Side dishes including a bowl of rice, picked cucumber, miso soup (that's me!), and chawan mushi (steamed egg dish). Aria cooked some rice this morning, and other side dishes are store-bought.
For the second set: grilled salmon set, season the salmon fillet with kosher salt and ground black pepper. Sprinkle the protein with all-purpose flour before pan-frying it over medium heat. Continue cooking for roughly five minutes, let it rest and drizzle with teriyaki sauce.
Look at how she yoinked the salmon onto the plate.
Enjoying delicious food in quiet tranquility just the two of them.
A change of view after seeing Vienna's monochromatic kitchen for the last few posts. In my opinion, doing the Reaper's Event with this elder household is the most suitable. What about you? What kind of household do you play with when doing the event? Anyway, 'till next post. Dag dag!
P.S. I reviewed another recipe also inspired by the Portuguese influence, India's Goan prawn curry, here.
P.S.S. Recipe details for chicken nanban and grilled salmon are taken from this article and this article.

I drew another of the new birthday cards for him and I love how it came out :3 hbd Ennosuke!!
(also I write birthday wishes for each of the characters like in the game and I felt like y'all would like to see his :>)
Birthday wishes - Ennosuke Sumeragi (August 25th)
Kiyoshi: Happy birthday, Ennou. I know you like this composer, so seeing an orchestra performance of theirs together will be nice, right? I hope you enjoy it. Miyata: Ennosukeeeeee! Happy birthday! Thank you for everything you do for us! You'll take a break for ONCE today, right?? Ehe~! Matsuoka: Abupbup. No getting back to work today, sir. I'm gonna FORCE you to relax if I have to…Kidding!…No I'm not. Anyway… Hatsune Miku (Memento Rosa): Seeing Ennosuke grow into his own is truly wonderful…The Ennosuke I first met that day and the Ennosuke now couldn't be more different, but are also undeniably the same…It's so lovely, isn't it? Toya: Iida said it was Sumeragi's birthday today…Should I find a way to pass along my well wishes to him?…Akito, it'll be fine. Akito: Dude, if you give that guy the time of day we'll never hear the end of it!…Ugh fine, your funeral I guess… Mafuyu: "Have a good day, or something like that." …Amia, what do you mean that's not all I should send. It gets the message across just fine.
Ennosuke: It's strange to see so many people sending me their well wishes…I've never felt like this before. I'm so happy I could cry…I truly do appreciate this…

@snorhora asked for this, thank god. kiyohana!
Assorted OTP Questions
What is each member’s love language?
Hanamiya: Quality time, but in almost absolute silence. He sits next to Teppei and reads with his legs on his lap.
Kiyoshi: Words of affirmation and physical touch. He just whispers sweet nothings into Makoto's ear while hugging him, or touches his arm while passing next to him and HE'S SO SWEET.
What would they describe as their perfect date?
Hanamiya: his idea of a date is literally have dinner at home and then read with his legs on Kiyoshi's lap. He simply hate being around people.
Kiyoshi: I imagine him like a romantic picnic kind of guy, with little flowers and a basket, and Hanamiya there with a 'why?' face.
Who made the first move?
Okay, look. Kiyoshi did, but in a very violent kinda way and I'm not proud about having a punch to the face right before a kiss as a headcanon.
Who is more sentimental?
Oh God, Kiyoshi.
Which member calls the other in to kill the spiders?
Hanamiya WOULD NEVER kill a spider, he picks them up and lets them go on the backyard.
Who falls asleep first?
They're both night owls. Kiyoshi because he used to do laundry and other chores late at night, and Hayamiya because he exists in the dark and silence.
Who wakes up first?
Kiyoshi, but he stays in bed as long as he can.
Who is more more relaxed/carefree?
Kiyoshi. Hanamiya is the opposite of carefree.
What’s one way their personalities compliment one another? (Is it opposites attract or are they pretty similar?)
OH THEY LOOK LIKE OPPOSITES, BUT MY GOD THEY'RE A COUPLE OF MANIPULATORS.
In any case, Teppei brings peace and calmness in a way Makoto simply can't even process.
Who is always cold?
Hanamiya. God bless Kiyoshi's sweaters and jackets.
Which member is always trying to bring home stray animals and which member always has to say no?
Kiyoshi loves stray animals, including Hanamiya himself.
Hanamiya wants that horrible looking puppy out of his house.
Who worries more?
Surprinsingly, Hanamiya. He's always worried about something happening to Kiyoshi, especially about the knee. It's the guilt.
What are some non-sexual activities they do together?
Cooking. It's a war zone by the time they finish, but they love it.
Who would be able to talk their way out of a speeding ticket?
They are both more than capable of talking their way out of hell if needed.
Who is the better cook?
Kiyoshi, considering he cooked all the time when he was still living with his grandparents, but Hanamiya can cook just fine because he was on his own a lot during his childhood (mom works too much).
What are some things they don’t agree on?
They usually don't agree on anything, but they're very good at finding middle points.
Which member is more physically affectionate?
Kiyoshi is way too touchy feely.
Which member is more verbally affectionate?
Kiyoshi, again.
How does each member feel about PDA?
Kiyoshi: It's a natural thing for him. He's a 'holding hands while walking' and 'kiss on the cheek every now and then' kinda guy.
Hanamiya: He doesn't like it because he hates feeling people percieve him as something other than the devil.
Who’s the safer driver?
Hanamiya. Kiyoshi drives like a grandma and is a danger to us all.
What’s each member flirting style?
Hanamiya: being mean.
Kiyoshi: flowers and way too sweet texts.
(except when violence becomes a middle point)
Which member steals borrows the other ones clothing?
HANAMIYA.
Who is the cuddle initiator?
Surprisingly, Hanamiya. If he wants cuddles, he will have cuddles.
Are they an introverted couple or an extroverted one—AKA would they prefer to go out to a party or event together or would they rather stay in?
Introverted couple, mostly because their friend groups are so different. I mean, you can put Kiyoshi with Hara and Seto, but you simply can't do the same with Hanamiya, Hyuuga and Izuki.
Who is the big/little spoon?
Hanamiya is the little spoon. He's not ashamed of it.
Who is more likely to make an impulsive decision and who is the voice of reason?
Hanamiya is the voice of reason at all times. Kiyoshi always wants to help everyone and pick up every random little cat he finds, and Makoto has to put a reasonable end to it.
Who’s more likely to laugh at their own jokes?
KIYOSHI.
Who takes longer showers?
Hanamiya takes long baths, while smoking.
Who is “more loved” by the in-laws?
Oh, they are both adored by the in-laws. Kiyoshi's grandparents think Hanamiya is such a charming, inteligent young man. Makoto's mom thinks Teppei is just adorable.
Who is more likely to get jealous?
OH, HANAMIYA GETS JEALOUS SO FUCKING FAST. He's ready to kill the barista that flirted with Kiyoshi in a second.
What was the most surprising thing they learned about one another once they started dating?
Kiyoshi learned to stand up for himself more (surprisingly). his friends were very much against the relationship all together and it took a lot of fights for him to start putting his foot down.
Hanamiya learned he doesn't have to be on attack mode the entire time.
Who stays up way too late and who tries to drag them to bed?
Hanamiya reads for hours after dinner, sometimes well into the night and Kiyoshi has to beg him to at least do it on bed so he doesn't destroy his back.
Who’s messier?
None of them.
Which member is more likely to accidentally spend $300 at Target?
Hanamiya, because rich-kid mind never dies.
Who wanted/would want kids first?
Teppei suggested it first. It took years for Hanamiya to say yes.
Who gives piggy back rides to the other?
Kiyoshi is tall for a reason.
Who fell in love first?
Kiyoshi fell first. Hanamiya fell harder.

FAQ
(last updated 4/14/25)
Q1: "Have you seen that the wiki/this streamer/etc. says this character's name is [X]?" / "Why don't you call [X] by their name?"
A1: To help avoid confusion (and save me from potentially needing to repeatedly rewrite and retag posts), this blog only considers a character's name confirmed when it has been spoken aloud.
Japanese names can often be read in multiple ways, and while usually fan guesses have been more or less correct, they aren't always, and it can cause problems when the wrong name catches on. For this reason, characters will be referred to by codename only, or a nickname if they're not a teammate, until their name is confirmed, though info posts specifically may mention a likely reading of their name as well.
Q2: "Which region version are you playing?"
A2: The Hong Kong/Taiwan/Macau one! This does mean my game updates are one week behind the mainland one, though, so I may not always be able to post detailed info on updates immediately.
I do datamine updates as soon as they're out, though! I may only have an account to play the Hong Kong/Taiwan/Macau version, but I don't need an account to download the mainland China version, so I can access the game files (to datamine them) as soon as they're released.
Q3: "Who are your favorite characters?"
A3: Overall, my favorites are Tomoko and Kiyoshi! Right now Motoha is specifically my favorite story teammate (though I'm very excited for Aran!), and Miyu and Riko are my favorite navigators. My favorite thief designs are Moko, Key, Rin, Yuki, and Bui, and my favorite Persona design is Aura! I also really like Awilda, Leucothea, Prosymna, Nemertes, Gorgyra, and Calliope.
On that note, my favorite P5 characters are Akechi and Sumire, heh! Ann and Yusuke are also right up there with them.
Q4: "Do you play other gacha games?" / "Are you familiar with [X] gacha mechanic?"
A4: Haha, nope! I actually hate gacha systems, refuse to play any other gacha games, and am only putting up with this one because I'm otherwise very curious about the game and enjoy the characters. The gacha's still driving me crazy, though. I hate having to worry about getting a character before their banner ends, especially since I refuse to spend any money on the game.
That said, I do have friends who play gacha games, so I sometimes ask them about game mechanics if I'm not familiar with them. I also do at least pay attention to how people describe this game in relation to other gacha games, with the hopes of more thoroughly understanding the things I'm explaining here.
Q5: "Do you think a collab will be updated at the same time as the story?"/ "Do you think this character from another Persona game will be added with the next update?"
A5: The game developers have said that the game updates will follow a loose pattern of: story update -> event update -> gameplay update. Story updates include things like new parts of Palaces and story teammates (for instance, when Miyazawa's Palace and Soy were added in Version 1.1), whereas so far event updates have mostly added new parts of the collabs (for instance, the Museum Chapter and Yusuke were added in Version 1.3.1, and the Bank Chapter and Makoto were added in Version 1.3.3), though there have been other events like the Summer event and the Spring Festival event. Gameplay updates add onto side quests, Confidants, plus other existing content, and generally focus on gameplay fixes.
For this reason, it seems very unlikely that a new part of the any collab will be added at the same time as a new part of story, and this also goes for adding other Persona game characters and story teammates. I may be proven wrong in the future, but I'm just going off of what the devs have said so far; I'd expect a new story teammate to only be added in a story update, while event updates and gameplay updates have only ever added new Phantom Idols.
Q6: "Is there somewhere I can download this character 3D model you posted about/another model I've been looking for?"
A6: Yes! I have all the playable characters (from both P5 and P5X), the Palace rulers, Merope, and a few others here: https://mega.nz/folder/gjs0kJRa#5D3n3B11cOpT1Xp3VQIIKA
If the character you're looking for hasn't been added yet (I may forget to add someone sometimes), or isn't in the folder at all, just send an ask or message! If you send an ask, please don't do so anonymously, just so I can reply privately and make sure you get the model(s) you're looking for.
Q6.5: "What about this particular outfit for Wonder? Can you post screenshots of the model/send it to me?"
A6.5: Unfortunately, those are just named with numbers in the files (either wonder_normal_01, 02, etc. or wonder_autumn_01, 02, etc. for pajamas), which makes them a lot more trouble to dig up! If you ask during the update that added them to the files- I'll always post the icon for the outfit set- that makes it a lot easier, so I may be able to get it for you, but otherwise the answer's usually going to be no. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
I can usually get screenshots of the outfit in-game, so that's an alternative option, but there are some cases where the outfit hasn't been added to the game yet. Feel free to ask, though! Just check out the tag for wonder outfits first to make sure I haven't already posted it.
Q7: "How do you datamine P5X? I want to try it myself!"
A7: I explained my process here (if you're having trouble getting the vFileContentExtract tool to work, check here), though feel free to ask any follow-up questions about it if you have them, and I'll do my best to help! I actually learned everything I know about datamining just for this game, so I try to make the tools and steps as accessible as possible for anyone else who's interested, heh.
And if you ever happen to spot anything I missed in the files, please, send it my way! I'm just one person, I sometimes miss a thing or two. The more people looking, the better!
Q8: "Do you have a list of all the combat roles? I see they're individually explained on the character info posts, but I was hoping to read all of them in one list!"
A8: Say no more, here you go:
Resist: good at targeting single enemies (Wonder (Janosik), Fleuret, Mont, Bui, Sepia, Messa, Skull, Queen, Dancer Mont, Violet). This tends to manifest as followup attacks that hit one target, or status effects/damage buffs that apply against specific targets.
Control: good at dealing with groups of enemies (Closer, Summer Motoha, Joker, Panther, Fox, Noir, Lion Dance Rin, Crow). This tends to manifest as lots of multi-target attacks, and bonuses for using those attacks in certain ways.
Surrender: focused around applying debuffs to gain an advantage (Key, Rin, Vino, Howler, Matoi). This tends to manifest as a focus on a particular status effect, and the ability to do extra damage/effects to enemies once they're inflicted with it.
Rescue: focuses on healing companions (Cattle, Summer Tomoko, Marian, Mona). This has so far always included at least one healing skill, but often other healing abilities can be triggered as well.
Superior: good at buffing teammates and improving their effectiveness (Moko, Leon, Riddle, Chord, Ceaseless Wind, Turbo, Luce). This has so far always manifested as unique buffs/status effects, sometimes becoming fully triggered by additional conditions.
Defense: good at protecting teammates and keeping them alive (Soy, Yuki, Cherish). This tends to manifest as shield-focused abilities, but Soy instead draws fire to himself, and buffs the team's max health temporarily.
Elucidation: the designation used for navigators (Wind, Okyann, Puppet, Phoebe, Oracle, Ange). This obviously has a wide array of specific applications, but tends to revolve around unique buffs or debuffs that the navigator can grant/inflict, and obviously each navigator has their own fights/team compositions they're most suited for.
[More questions may be added as they get, uh, frequently asked, haha!]

To avoid any furter interferences after they get the Night Shadow, Conny, Jino and Val out of the Therapy Game, Jack thought it might be a good idea to reactivate and repair the transporter chamber. So they could beam the four of them back to their own universe. Jack is convinced they can't exist all at once in one timeline - at the same time and place ö.Ö' Jeb and Lenny have mixed feelings about this. The chambers are barricaded for a reason. Lenny's friend, the vacuum bot, had vanished after he cleaned one of them.
On the upper deck, Jonathan tries to convince Sai to apologize to the others. For betraying them - and trying to kill Tiny Can. Sai is dreading it. He can't deal with his failure. He just hoped Jonathan would take him far, far away from all this madness and start a new life with him.
Jonathan: "At least talk to them. You'll regret it if you don't." Saiwa: "I didn't regret leaving the elven realm either. Even though I left everything behind. My friends and family. Everything I owned." Jonathan: "I regretted leaving you behind. It almost tore me apart - and I couldn't imagine a life without you. But I knew it would have killed me if I'd stayed. And that this world would break you. I should have sent you back that day you stood at my door. But I was too weak. Do better than me, Vanië. They are your friends." Saiwa: "Friends? They betrayed me in the first place!" Jonathan: "We won't leave before you talked to them. Start with Ji Ho and Vlad, hm? Ji Ho loves you. And he will keep Vlad from being mean." Saiwa needed strength for this. Strength he doesn't have anymore: "Hold me." Jonathan: "Always."
And, of course, Jeb and Jack just turned around because Lenny meowled in utter despair. He still needs his friend fixed... And he was hungry! Jeb and Jack witnessed Jonathan and Sai's embrace. Jack: "I can't believe he's even real anymore! How can he do this to you! We are going to rescue the Night Shadow last. I can't even stand his face anymore!" Jeb: "Let him."
But Jack weren't Jack if he kept his snout shut. Jack: "Get a room!" Lenny thought this might maybe a bit counterproductive...
Jonathan was right. Ji Ho pulled Sai almost immediately in his arms after Saiwa apologized. Ji Ho: "We shouldn't have betrayed you in the first place. I'm sorry we made you feel like you couldn't talk to us. You just did what you thought was right at that time. I guess we all are in desperate need for a break. Don't worry too much, hm? I owe you so much and it's ok to make mistakes. Right, Vlad?" Vlad just grumbled: "Right."
Kiyoshi was also on duty on the bridge and he agreed to accompany Saiwa to Jack. And even though it went so well with Ji Ho and Vlad (to a certain extend at least ö.ö') Sai had a little meltdown. Jack had been so upset and even yelled at him...
They also called Jonathan to support Saiwa. But Jack did not budge. Not only did Sai almost kill his beloved Tiny Can, he also broke Jeb's heart - again. Jack: "After all we've been through! How could you!" Saiwa: "Don't you think all we went through is the reason why I'm loosing my mind - and have to leave?" Jack: "An apology won't do. I can't accept it. At least have the conscience and apologize to Tiny Can. And talk to Jeb. They are fixing the engines in the stern."
Sai went over to the engine room. Jeb didn't even look at him. Neither did Tiny Can. Saiwa: "I'm sorry for what I did and that I couldn't do better. After all I promised you."
Jeb: "No, I'm sorry for begging you to stay as our leader. You don't deserve a life like this. You've left the elven realm to find a better life for you and then you've been kidnapped and thrown into all of ... this." Saiwa: "Aren't you going to stop me?" Jeb: "No, Vanië. I love you too much to condemn you to stay at my side. Go with him and be happy."
Something broke inside Saiwa and he started to cry when Jeb called him 'Vanië'. Saiwa: "Gods, Jeb. I love you too. How could we've let it come this far?"
That was when Jeb snapped. Jeb: "You have the audacity to tell me you love me wearing Jonathan's ring and after sharing his bed?" Saiwa: "What? What do you think Jonathan and I are?" Jeb: "I think I know just how exactly things are between you and him! And that he can give you all the things that I can't give you! You gave up everything to be with Jonathan. You wanted to marry him. You left the elven realm for him. He made you the man you are. Made you a vampire! What am I compared to him?" Saiwa: "Are you crazy? Do you think I am in a romantic relationship - with Jonathan? And that we... that we woohoo?" Jeb: "That's exactly what I think you do!" Saiwa: "I know Jonathan since the day I was born! He practically raised me! He's like a brother to me! That marriage was arranged because our families were close! The only man I ever wanted this way is you!"
Jeb: "..."
That was when Jeb snapped for the second time. He doesn't know what to think anymore. So he just stopped it. And let his body do the talking...
And when Jeb stripped Sai off his clothes, Tiny Can thought it's a good time to leave them alone...
(I put the rest of their spicy encounter on our side blog under the mature content label. You can watch/read it -> here <- if you want)

Hi can I request a matchup :)
My nickname is Ibti, female pronounces are she/her.
When I'm surrounded with people that I feel comfortable with I can be loud, outspoken and goofy, but with people I just met or don't feel comfortable with yet I can be reserved and quiet.
My likes: Jonathan Joestar 🤣🤣🤣, food, trash reality tv
Dislikes: Bugs especially spiders and bees (have a huge fear for both lol), people who behave like snakes
My hobbies: Gaming, watching/reading anime/manga, drawing
Team preferences: GOM + Nijimura captain 🥺, Seirin, Rakuzan, Kaijō, Vorpal swords
Type of Romance
Strangers to Friends to Lovers
How You Two Met
Before Kiyoshi healed enough to begin playing basketball again, he often frequented stores that sold books, playing cards, and the like. On a whim one day, he decided to go through the manga section and that's where he walked into you.
Literally.
It wasn't until after he'd apologized and you walked away that he realized he recognized you from class. After that day, he made it a routine to find you at least once throughout the day to say hello.
"Ibti-san!"
You startle as a loud voice interrupts your thoughts, nearly dropping the book in your hands. Looking up from the pages, you notice the guy from the day before — Kiyoshi Teppei — entering the room with a wide smile on his face. He's waving at you, walking directly into your bubble.
"I knew I recognized you from yesterday. It's good to see you again."
How He Fell For You
Initially, Kiyoshi thought it was just in your nature to be softspoken around people and he didn't mind it in the slightest. When the two of you would hang out at first — his insistence, not yours — it was more often than not that a quiet game of cards was played. Or perhaps he'd ask you about the manga you were currently reading, always curious what you were up to and making polite conversation.
As things naturally go, you would eventually open up to his presence more and reveal more of your outgoing nature. It came as a surprise to Kiyoshi the first time you began joking around with him, showing more of your sillier side. But it's that slow burn of getting to know you better that has him falling, though he doesn't realize it at first.
His confession was actually an accident.
"You're always fun to be around, Ibti-san," Kiyoshi says behind laughter, the joke you had previously told him still bouncing around in his mind. "I really like being with you."
The way he had phrased it doesn't go over your head and it makes you pause to look at him. At your silence, Kiyoshi also goes quiet, re-evaluated what he'd said. It dawns on him then all the feelings he had for you that had been building up.
Tentatively, he repeats himself. "I really do like being with you. Could we do it more?"
What a Relationship with Him is Like
He's really good at reading the room, despite his own lax nature about certain things, so he's quick to realize when you're uncomfortable or shy around strangers. Thankfully, he's a naturally outgoing person no matter the situation, so he's often the one talking for the two of you when new people are involved.
He's the type of boyfriend to want to make sure you're taken care of, so if that means chasing away a few creepy crawlies even if he thinks they're not a big deal, he's gunna do it (though he might tease that you'll have to be the one to chase away any rats).
He takes interest in your hobbies and likes, though he might not understand a few of them, and he hopes you'd do the same in return.
"My grandparents wanted to know if you'd like to come over tonight?" he asks you one day, scratching at his cheek while he gave a sheepish smile. "That show you all like is on tonight, right? They wanted to watch it with you."
The way he seems to have a slight pout to his lips and furrow to his brow tells you that there's more to his request. When you press him to continue, he gives you a hopeful smile.
"Well, I was hoping maybe afterward I could show you how to play some games with my hanafuda cards? I'd like to spend more time with you, too."
Match Up Requests are Closed

[Reverse Adjustment AU, outside a palace.]
Akechi: Right. Now that we're here, I'm just gonna tell you now; We are not going to make the same mistakes we made with Nakada. That means no flying off the rails while fighting Shadows like you do in Mementos. Retain some level of self control, please.
Katsuro: Damn, you're no fun.
Akechi: No fun...?! Sanada, this is a stealth gig, not a "Rip-and-tear though every enemy" gig. We should be more strategic.
Katsuro: Fine, fine. 🙄
Akechi: I feel like I should be concerned about how eager you are to kill people.
Katsuro: These people deserve it and you know that.
Akechi: Are you not disgusted with yourself? Not in the slightest bit?
Katsuro: If your targets are anything like Kiyoshi Nakada... then they deserve it. Anyway... are you sure we should be using our real names in here? I may be a nobody, but you definitely aren't.
Akechi: That's... a fair point. Fine, what do you suggest we use as codenames? Nothing stupid.
Katsuro: Well... your outfit makes you kinda look like a crow, so...
Akechi: Absolutely not.
Katsuro: C'mon, please?
Akechi: No.
Katsuro: Please?
Akechi: ... fine, whatever. I'll be Crow. As for you... why not Coyote?
Katsuro: I've got nothing better.
Akechi: Alright. Now, let's not waste any more time.

a quick nonsense knb drabble -inspired by what @lamnwar did with aomine
enjoy or not ~I'm just writing this to get some stuff off my chest
It's with Teppei Kiyoshi
you carefully knock on the bedroom door.
"Uhm... can i come in?"
Teppei huffs but nods. After a second of hesitation you enter the room. You stand in the middle of the room awkwardly and stare to the ground. You know you have to say something. You know exactly what it is. But you just don't know how to say it...
It was always the same with you. One thought led to another and you start to spiral until you fuck it up. On top of it all comes that you are totally messed up by your past.
Why is this so hard to do?
Why did you always have to mess up by being so incredibly insecure?
Didn't you hurt him enough in the past?
"Teppei?" Your voice was shaky. Quiet. Hesitant.
Especially when it came to promises. And that was what led to your current problem.
You lost it just because he couldn't act on a promise in time and you blew everything out of proportion...
He looked up and directly at you. The hurt in his eyes so evident that your heart clenched.
"I am sorry", you mumble. "I shouldn't have made you feel so bad about it and I know a simply sorry isn't gonna cut it and if I am being honest I don't know in which way i can fix this. I am pretty weird when it comes to promises. Barely any promises in my life were kept and when somebody promises something and doesn't follow through within the time frame I get all weird and petty and angry... It triggers something in me. I should probably stop talking now..."
Teppei wrapped his arms around you and kissed your forehead. "Hey little goofball. We got this but you really need to relax a bit. You know I always mean what I say because otherwise I wouldn't say it."
You sigh. "I know..."

Favorite BL Manga —1.2
[11-20]
I try to pick 50 titles for my favorite Japanese BL, here is the fourth part: from 11 to 20.
30歳まで童貞だと魔法使いになれるらしい / 30-sai made Dotei Da to Mahotsukai ni Nareru Rashii / Cherry Magic
Toyota Yuu (豊田悠)

Both couples are lovely, I enjoy reading them and they also have nice supporting characters. Their chibi are cute~ This BL is veeery popular and we have a long story about them. It's nice to read Kurosawa Yuichi and Adachi Kiyoshi relationship development, from their beginning, dating, marriage life. Yuichi's dating song in anime is hilarious ; w;

— 2 couples: co-workers ; novelist x dancer, mind-reading (temporary) ability
スメルズライクグリーンスピリット / Smells Like Green Spirit
Nagai Saburou (永井三郎)

It's a coming of age story of three young boys in the countryside, learning about themselves. It has romance but it is more about identity and sexuality. It's a very good realistic read. In the cover are Mishima and Kirino, who become best friends after Mishima found out more about Kirino. The romance part is between Mishima and Yumeno. Yumeno and Kirino are in the same circle of friends since beginning of story. I'm very sad about Kirino ;_; Mishima and Yumeno relationship develops gradually as they grow up, it's great to see them happy together when they are adult. Even though this manga is very good, I'm not sure I can reread because that f*cking disgusting teacher. But maybe, someday...

— high-school in the countryside, lgbt, bullying, self-identity, some time later/after story
チキンハートセレナーデ / Chicken Heart Serenade
Oshima Kamome (大島かもめ)

Currently my top favorite from one of my favorite BL mangaka. The relationship development of Matsune Hiromichi and Kurahashi Hayato, from casual relationship (as fwb) to lover is really good. Realistic and beautiful. It's really nice when it shown that Hayato doesn't have the separation anxiety anymore. After all Hiromichi's struggles being gay and had to deny it, when it sank in him that he just embraced a man (finally embracing his true self), that moment made my eyes teary. I really like Hiromichi and Hayato dynamic, I want to read more of them ; ;

— casual relationship/fwb (met in a bar) to lover, kimono shop
Call
Asada Nemui (朝田ねむい)

I feel like I'm going to read all Asada Nemui sensei works that I can reach, no matter what theme it is, whether I like the setting or not. Asada Nemui's works are very interesting. I think, from some that I read, Call is currently my top favorite (second favorite is Sleeping Dead, a heavy and unforgettable read). The sui/cidal part feels real, even after meeting Haruhiko and spent time together, even though Akiyama really likes him, he still going on his original plan to do sui/cide. He miraculously saved, get some helps and restart his life. Some time later he meet Haru again. Haru's character development also good. It's realistic and somehow a comforting(?) read. How 'call' means in this story is real something.

— office worker x rental date (fake) staff, sui/cide, age gap, reencounter
デンタルダーリン / Dental Darling
Michiru Sonoo (未散ソノオ)

Dental Darling has interesting characters and I like their expressions (chibi?). Two socially awkward, Morisawa and Hani's interactions are fun to read and endearing. They also have nice wingman. It's a cute and charming short read.

— dentists, dental clinic
花鳥風月 / Kachou Fuugetsu
Shimizu Yuki (志水ゆき)

There are various couples here (connected characters between stories), I think I only into 2 couples. Daiki x Sawato is so heartbreaking, even though they're together at the end, what happened between them hurts. I like Kiriya x Zaizen the most and they're the reason Kachou Fuugetsu is this high in this list. Kiriya x Zaizen story is heart-wrenching but also excites me with how passionate they are.

— yakuza x lawyer, high school friends
ミッドナイト・コンフリクト / Midnight Conflict
Inui Nao (犬井ナオ)

Higa and Kousuke are next-door neighbors and constantly fight, but after certain situation they become xxx partner because they're compatible. Their relationship grows and developed lovingly. Their dynamic is adorable and fun to read. I like that they have pretty long story (and completed). They have several volumes and it's cute that they use abbreviation for their titles: KGS (Kuso Gaki Shuurai) / ACO (Atsushi Coming Out) / DDD (Doki Doki Dousei-hen) / HNW (Hello New World) / OLP (Ofutarisama Life Plan) / THX (Thank You).

— convenience store part-timer (loves cooking, later will focus on training as chef in ryokan) x office worker
ノイジールームメイト ~家ナシになったのでイケメンと怪異つき物件で同居始めました~ / Noisy Roommate ~Ienashi ni Natta node Ikemen to Kaii Tsukimono Ken de Doukyo Hajimemashita~
Ozaki Kaho (緒崎カホ)

What a long title .w.) I like the art~ They have very nice main couple and gorgeous side couple~ Zashiki-warashi that lives together with them (Osuke and Nanami, in their boss place) is so adorable. Osuke and Nanami's relationship developed naturally. This has various stories from clients, human and spirits. It's an interesting read.

— spirit real estate, living together, feared by spirits x attract spirits
オールドファッションカップケーキ / Old-fashioned Cupcake, Old-fashioned Cupcake with Cappucinno
Sagan Sagan (佐岸左岸)

I really like the paneling here, how they show little details. Their anti-aging therapy is sweet. Nozue is very adorable, though before his character development he can be frustrating, his fear was not unrealistic. Togawa is really nice, he communicates well, give Nozue space when they fight, validates what Nozue feels and fears, even when he wanted to do more he held back and didn't do that make-up xxx that likely to worsen their relationship (when their fight had not resolved yet). He does his best to be more reliable so he can be with Nozue properly. He assures Nozue that it's okay to have fights, believing that their relationship will be fine after. They don't fight each other or win over each other, but fight for their better life together. Togawa's way of eating is so cute. Togawa and Nozue is a very lovely healthy couple.

— subordinate x boss, age gap
探偵事務所の飼い主さま / Tantei Jimusho no Kainushi-sama
Noji

It's cute that Nakamura Rou is adored by animals, so he's great in finding lost pets. He's in love with Sako Fumika (the detective) and keep trying to approach him, but Rou and Fumika's romance part only comes in near the end of story. It's a lovely and interesting read. Noji sensei works' covers often make me interested to read.

— detective agency, detective/agency owner x worker (loved by animal), age gap
