Fun fact: kind of like "man,", "kar" can be used to refer to prectikar as a whole and specifically male prectikar. Hokar get an extra syllable because they're special and important in most cultures (idk how it works yet).

a lot of the guys here are pictured in more traditional clothing. Because there aren’t rules against wearing it (in the DRSS…), this kind of clothing is most common in Enclaves and during the courtship season. Traditional games and other cultural practices related to the season also play out in Enclaves more or less how they would have been done on the homeplanet. Outside of areas with a Prectikar-dominant population, things are much more muted. A lot of kar living in human areas just have to deal with the bodily changes with little fanfare(alone or with family, since kar living outside of Enclaves are typically isolated from unrelated people) (though there are apps for meeting up with other people or families in your area to relieve stress or even find a partner!)

and. you don't get withdrawal symptoms unless you're abusing the medication. Either Lily was misdiagnosed with ADHD or she takes too much. If you have ADHD and you're taking the appropriate amount, the only thing that happens is you start experiencing ADHD symptoms again... which, you don't really notice as a physical symptom, as the symptoms are entirely behavioural.
