pre-portal character exploration. the only fic i think ive ever seen that dares to say bill was doing extremely fucked up shit with ford the entire time before things went bad between them, it's just that after the betrayal, ford viewed it all in a different light. handles bill's obsession with the guy so nicely, does not shy away from the scary and unnerving in just the way i love it! it's incomplete, but the story is really just a series of vignettes leading up to and a little after the betrayal, so we all know how this is all going to end anyways. this one is formative billford for me

set during weirdmageddon, bill and ford make a deal to play a game of sexy scary hide and seek. it's so fun to root for the villain. this author has an amazing grasp on the character voices and tone, this is SUCH a delightful read and despite knowing exactly how it's gonna end, the tension still keeps you at the edge of your seat!

Something I finished months ago in May -- this art of Bastet was meant to be something 'quick' (lol--) to practice the style I used for my Artfight 2024 Attacks. But I also drew it because the kitty goddess had been overdue for more up-to-date artwork to use for her profiles.

I’m currently more active on my Bluesky account, and updating the project site gradually. In fact, I’ve just finished archiving the first 100 askbox responses there, with more on the way for those feeling nostalgic. Otherwise, I’ll continue to update the project blog on tumblr when I can, thank you all for sticking around!

Writing this post to let folks know I’m (kinda) back from my short hiatus, but also to bring up a few important things. So I’m putting the rest under the cut.

While taking a break, almost abruptly, I had to clear my head for a bit because I was under a lot of stress and honestly if I didn’t step away when I did, I would’ve snapped.

I’m keeping anonymous off. For now. I’m really sorry to those who’s been using it for either their shyness or for keeping their main anonymous from their side blogs, and it’s not that I had an issue with those reasons in particular, I’m just fed up with the random/weird/rude anonymous asks in my inbox. In the future I might bring the anonymous feature back. We’ll see. I’m also considering switching dms in the near future as well to only people I follow can message me. So atm dms are still open to anyone, but it might be switched, so I’m giving a warning.

Right now, please don’t tag me in any posts related or bring up the Fin.ding Fra.nkie game, including my self ships with the two Fra.nkies. I need to step away from that fandom atm.

Lastly while I’m finishing up all my overdue commissions for folks, it might be a while until I post my own self ship art again. There’s a few different reasons as to why that I really don’t want to bring up because I don’t think it’ll help or change how past situations from certain fandoms and people had affected me. Not that I never had support from others, but I’m still hurt by a few things that I don’t think ignoring them can help anymore. Maybe I’ll be more active again once the holidays are over, but right now, I just feel numb about my own stuff. I’m still gonna try to interact with folks here, but I’ll most likely be more active on my aesthetic blog @lullachy or my original art blog @chycreations for the time being.

I don’t mean for this post about me returning to be negative, I want to be a positive influence here, I really do, because I know a lot of us use this site, or heck even self shipping, to escape from the stress of our everyday lives outside of the internet, but I’m just so tired.

Anyways, lately I have been participating in events and projects, and in these events and projects, unfortunately it's become clear to me that my presence and name have only been used to attract the attention of my national and international community with the objective, as I see it, of generating more attention towards controversies - destructive controversies, and a rupture that is very clear in the community, and this is what I want to say: I'm NOT ok with these types of dynamics or stuff like this, and I want to make it very clear to my stream, my community, and everyone that, for this exact reason that I just mentioned, I want to make it clear that I want to distance myself and any of my projects from the Esland Awards, which you all know is coming up.

Sadly, the Esland Awards have been an event with a history of much controversy, a lot of division, and a lot of divisions within the community, and as you guys know, as you know, my content has never been characterized by seeking controversy or divisions or anything like that. It's for this exact reason that I don't want to be involved with these awards.

In advance, I ask the organizers of any type of events and projects like this to please show more respect to me and my community, because I've shown lots of sympathy and cooperation in these various projects and events, but it's become clear to me that their only interest is in using my name.
