It is late but whatever, I decided I was going to draw one of the characters I'm making sourcelists for and Blackhat Puppet was the easiest one, so here it is.

Okay, now that thing nobody asked for, me explaining the sources.

Blackhat Organization members and Cartoon Network, pretty self-explanatory. What may not be so obvious is that, through references, Blackhat canonically owns the FNAF animatronics and made a deal with Cthulu. It's not technically as canon as Mojo Jojo, but it's still there and I'm choosing to consider it canon for this thing.

Villains and evilness, again, pretty obvious. Necromancin Dancin is about taking over a city with zombies, VOID MOTHER is the track for the final boss in a game that doesn't exist (from Louie Zong's BOSS RUSH album, which is a really good album) and Don't Let The Bellhops Bite is about a horror game (the monkeys are evil? Idk, I just needed a third example and didn't feel like searching for more).

Mind control is really easy when you own someone's soul and shapeshifting may be one of Blackhat's most iconic powers (even if he's unable to use it right now). Possessed! is another Louie Zong song (what did I say? He has songs for any character. I didn't say it in this post, but whatever) and I feel like Blackhat would like how the ghost plays with his victim, I already discussed how I'm tired of not finding any song I like that fits shapeshifting better than Under My Skin in another post and Mind Control is literally called Mind Control, I don't have to explain that one.

Blackhat is OP, so he gets Overpowered Characters (yes, I stole the idea from Uncle Grandpa in ugfad, but it works for Blackhat too). Uncle Grandpa, Superman and SCP-682 are extremely powerful, so they're the examples.

Puppets, really obvious if you just read the name of the character. I chose TV shows centered around puppets as examples, so Sesame Street, The Muppets and 31 minutos (not really a fan of that one, but it has songs so it works as an example I guess).

The refugee from TV land trope is when a character goes to a world in which they are fictional and I would write it in a clearer way if it wasn't too long. SCP, Gravity Falls and Ducktales (the 2017 one, I don't know about the other) have examples of this. This source is because, when Alan is seen with the puppet, it is always treated as if it was the actual Blackhat, trapped in the puppet's body.

Okay, more character sources because why not. These were made in new year, but the first one I had already prepared the sourcelist. I didn't finish the second one, which is why I'm posting it today.

Yep, self-insert because I can. Well, it's less me and more the me on Tumblr specifically, but whatever. Charjabug background because square pokemon.

Artists and genres I like is an obvious source, but I had to put it the last because I didn't feel like changing the size or order of the squares. Bardcore is there because I don't really know a lot about music genres, but I've heard enough of what I'm pretty sure is bardcore to know I like it and I needed a third example.

My OCs and the internet, again, pretty obvious. Paper for paper anon, pokemon for my rotomblr OCs and Death for Marta.

Sources from my mutuals and Robots and shapeshifters because these are my sources and I can be a shapeshifting robot if I want to (also, the image was originally going to be a bunch of default tumblr pfps, as in that's my true form and they can change sizes and colors and move to make me look like my pfp normally looks or something, but I forgot to do it) (also, my self insert faller is a ditto hybrid, so shapeshifter would still work with my OCs). The sources from my mutuals also comes from the shapeshifting aspect of the character. Under My Skin is there for shapeshifting because it kind of works? Look, I searched through a lot of playlists, it is the best I can do because people love to name playlists something unrelated to the content. Ah, also, sources from mutuals includes those followers I keep forgetting to follow, you know who you are, probably.

And also, Torbek, who was going to have the source Bones because it's funny, but I couldn't find anything that wasn't about skeletons (or songs literally called Bones, but I'm not going to use three songs with the same name in the sourcelist). I was going to draw him but, let's be honest, there's no way I'd make anything better than how shoocharu draws him. DnD logo background for obvious reasons.

Legend of Avantris and TTRPGs, pretty obvious, that's where Torbek comes from.

Blood and Common enemies. Torbek is a bugbear blood hunter, and bugbears are (distantly) related to goblins and hobgoblins. Also, this is the only time googling "songs about [thing]" has worked, which is good because there's a surprisingly low number of spotify playlists about blood and, again, the people there love to fill playlists with songs that aren't related to the name they gave it. Also, yes, I copied the common enemy examples directly from Blue's sourcelist for spiderling, I'm not sorry (couldn't remember if Blue used songs or examples and the examples are basically the most common enemies in most settings anyway).

Experiments and the fey, because Torbek's blood is infused with fey magic after he was experimented on. Did you know that if you search experiment in spotify you just get educational songs and experimental genres? Googling gave me the same result. You won't believe how many variations of evil science experiment I've searched trying to find songs that are about any experiment of the type you'd actually associate with Torbek. When I got to three I stopped because I'm apparently terrible at finding these things (I bet Louie Zong has something with that vibe actually, but I'm thinking that now). The fey, same thing, so I just used examples of things related to the fey.
