Intro Rambles

One day I wanna make custom plushies (nuigurumis) for my fave charas/ships...

Not rn ofc but in the future hopefully someday 🙏

I find chibis really hard to draw for some reason 😭

Like for me it's harder than drawing in my usual style (probably from lack of practice and also that I find simplifying hard...)

I haven't found a chibi style I've completely settled on, yet.

I also want to use charm makers like Wooacry to turn the arts I commissioned into keychains/charms 💗

Since Wooacry honestly has a really nice UI for making mock-ups/previews of merch before you buy them

I need to make XanLena, KuroEne, JuAli, LimGuda, and IdaTatsu itabags fr

I should be able to with my merch 🙏💗

ESPECIALLY for KuroEne, JuAli, and LimGuda, since they have official/fan-merch that I can pair together...

XanLena is my KHR AU Yume (Canon/OC) ship so I've been mainly drawing/writing out my ideas and comm'ing arts of them 💖

I've found a custom plush manufacturer on Twt, so just wait for me... 👀

Ngl ideally my custom plushies would have the body base so that I can swap out their clothes, but I'd still be OK if they just wear one outfit...

To be able to have custom plushies AT ALL of my fave ships would be a dream for me.

I'm terrible with arts and crafts unfortunately so I'd have to commission a plush manufacturer to be able to do it.

Selena is my KHR OC and my beloved wife 💗💞

I designed Selena's outfit so that it'd be easy to draw and replicate.

I love how her design is on the simpler end but aesthetically looks nice...

NB flag colours!!! I love my wife and her NB swag 🖤💜🤍💛

In my doodle I drew a WIP of Xanxus wearing traditional Viet clothes

I'd want XanLena plushies to have Selena wearing her main outfit (white frilly/ruffled blouse and black pleated skirt and thigh highs) and Xanxus to be wearing his black Varia jacket uniform

I'd commission XanLena with TYL Xanxus (where he has his hair down) because that design is honestly way easier to draw

And it's also easier for most artists I comm to draw too.

Note: TYL = Ten Years Later. Alternate designs of the KHR cast in a 10 year timeskip setting. KHR's Future arc designs

XanLena's outfits are not complicated at all, so I think they'd be the easiest to make imo.

Some plushie manufacturers can't sew on scar details.

I just need to make sure that Xanxus' scar details are kept...

I always draw and commission Xanxus with my HC design where he has tanner skin (based on the KHR ani giving the KHR cast more skin tone diversity compared to the original KHR manga where everyone's pasty af)

I ranked KuroEne as the 2nd easiest because I don't think their outfits are too difficult tbh.

Though Saeru has details that make his design harder to draw, like the holes in his outer shirt, and a lot of straps on his outfit in his usual Black Konoha form (sleeve straps, inner shirt straps, boot straps)

So imo they have higher difficulty compared to XanLena, since Saeru's design has more details.

Ene's design is honestly easy to draw. It's just that Sidu made the shape of her headphones hard to draw.

Saeru's Black Konoha (MR2) form doesn't have official coloured refs.

I'd LOVE to comm arts of KuroEne with Saeru's MR2 form, but I'd like to do it with my Saeru (MR2) HC redesign first.

Cuz atm Saeru (MR2) does not have clear enough refs (or enough coloured refs) to easily be able to commission artists with.

Judar is canonically both Black Sun and Moon themed in Magi's canon, so this makes him Eclipse themed as well 🖤☀️🌙🌒

In the Magi manga, Judar wears red eyeliner in Ohtaka's arts.

In the Magi anime, Judar wears purple eyeshadow.

Judar's colour palette consists of black, white, red, and yellow 🖤🤍❤️💛

I wanted to put more of Judar's theme colours (black, red) on his design, so I chose red eyeliner since I tend to saturate colours in my arts ❤️

Both look nice, either way.

I've been wanting to comm arts of them for a WHILE but me being able to comm artists to draw them completely relies on me needing to finish my HC design ref sheets first.

I still need to decide on Judar's earrings and the patterns I'm gonna put on his hanfu in my HC design...

I'm planning to draw Chinese ice dragon patterns or snowflake/icicle drop patterns on his hanfu 🐉❄️🧊

I need to decide whether Judar will wear gold earrings with red jewels, or white/silver icicle drop or snowflake earrings.

Because I'm planning for any arts and merch that I comm of JuAli to be with my headcanon (HC) designs of them 🙏

I still need to draw and design Alibaba's traditional clothes (usual design) and his hanfu (as part of matching couple hanfu with Judar). I HC Alibaba with tanner skin in my HC design.

I wanted to project more of the charas' cultural backgrounds/influences on their designs so I want Judar and Alibaba to take more inspo from Chinese and Iraqi traditional clothes respectively...

Also I'm trying to decide whether I'd want JuAli plushies of them wearing matching couple hanfu or have Alibaba in the clothes I design for him 🤔💭

In terms of difficulty, I'd either tie them with KuroEne or put them as 3rd place.

So I need to get my own ref sheets of them in order first.

I still need to decide the details of their outfits.

I'm not sure how the plushie manufacturer would do Judar's hair/braids.

I'm not sure what kind of materials the hair would use (materials that feel like hair, or felt fabric (?) they use for nuis/plushies)

Judar's hanfu in my HC design would be more complicated to make, so I imagine it'd be more expensive.

I haven't gotten the chance to colour my sketches yet but I recently redrew IdaTatsu in my 2025 style 🥰

I will colour them soon cuz I hope to commission arts of them in the future as well 🙏

The WATGBS AU is an AU between me and my friend Snow (@/sdcrevolver), and my friends, Raisu and Cinna, also pitch in ideas 💗

The WATGBS AU is just us running with our fave charas.

We completely revamped the charas' writing and are using our HC designs.

So, the WATGBS AU is mostly our original story, and just us doing whatever we want with the charas. It has a heavier focus on fantasy/magic lore.

I made IdaTatsu wear Sun/Moon matching earrings and red/blue matching eyeliner in our WATGBS AU... Matching couple 💙❤️

It's also to play up to our WATGBS AU's original lore (that we created solely for the AU) and thematics (focus on the Blue Sea Kingdom and Red Sea Kingdom)

I like the idea of my wife Tatsu's oarfish antennae being more like ribbons. I love the shape language and how it looks 🎀

IdaTatsu's designs aren't hard, but I put them as the 2nd most difficult to make.

Mainly because I'd have to figure out how the plush manufacturer would do Idate's orca dorsal fin and tail.

And I'd have to figure out how I'd design Idate's orca tail patch markings.

Like I have no idea how that's gonna turn out.

Tatsumiya's furisode has more details

So I imagine that's gonna create more complexity to figure out how to "translate" it over to a 3D setting for plushies.

LimGuda 💚🧡🐈‍⬛🍊

I HC LimGuda as NBLNB and ship Douman with both protags, and have plans to draw both in the future 🥰

I usually draw femme Ritsuka (Gudako) due to my preferences for femme charas and design preference.

Douman's design is the hardest to draw out of all these charas. It has SO many details.

I'd LOVE to draw LimGuda more but Douman's design is so complicated and detailed... I need to get stronger at drawing them first...

Limbo/Douman's design is the most detailed/complicated out of my main faves, so LimGuda plushies would be the hardest to make...

Ritsuka/Guda's design is on similar levels of difficulty as the others so they wouldn't be too difficult to make.
