What the fuck is it, Sunday? I fucking hate Sundays but I’m gonna do something. I’m gonna keep up this semi-productive streak. My workload has been light and kind to me so I’m gonna take advantage of that and use my time wisely. I’ve knocked out, *checks real quick*, about 2.5k in the last 2-ish sessions and I think I can keep that rate up, ESPECIALLY since I’m finally getting to a pivotal part of the fic. I am famously non-commital and rarely follow through on anything, so I’m just putting this out here to keep myself grounded. Luck is for losers but wish me luck, it’s all I got right now.

Friday Night
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x reader
Summary: You end up sitting next to Bucky in a casual team dinner.
Word Count: 1.7k
Warnings: humor, fluff, secret dating, flirting, light language, water war (because who can resist a splash battle?)
A/N: this is part 4 of "You Said What?", just some fluff in a universe where you and Bucky secretly date. It can be read on its own and doesn't necessarily follow a specific order, but if you want to check out the other parts, here they are: part 1, part 2, part 3. im loving writing about these two so thanks for reading, i hope you like it :)
It’s one of those rare nights at the compound, no missions, no briefings, no surprise alien invasions. Just a Friday. Just dinner. And, somehow, Steve decided it’d be nice if the whole team ate together like one big weird family.
The long table is already half full when you show up a few minutes late, sliding into the only empty seat left, next to Bucky, obviously by coincidence. Totally random. Totally not planned. Totally a miracle.
“Hey,” you murmur, your knee bumping his under the table. You don’t move it.
“Hey,” he says back, low and warm, like it’s just for you. His knee nudges yours in return, the tiniest pressure that somehow makes your chest feel full.
Dinner is loud. Sam’s in the middle of a dramatic story involving a rooftop and a rogue pizza slice, gesturing so wildly he nearly knocks over his drink twice. Wanda is laughing so hard she’s wheezing. Clint and Natasha are arguing about spice levels in the curry. Tony ordered five different desserts “just in case,” and even Vision looks mildly amused.
It’s chaotic. It’s weirdly cozy. And it’s perfect.
Meanwhile, Bucky quietly slides the breadbasket your way before you even ask. Passes you a napkin when you drop yours. Leans over and murmurs a dumb joke under his breath just to make you laugh. And when you both reach for the same dish, your fingers brush—and linger. Neither of you moves.
You glance at him. He’s already looking at you like you’re the best thing he’s seen all night.
“Stop looking at me like that,” you whisper, biting your lip.
“Like what?” he asks, faking innocence.
“Like you’re thinking about kissing me at a table full of Avengers.”
He leans in, voice low. “Wouldn’t be the first time.”
Your breath catches. You blink, trying not to let it show. “Bold of you to assume I wouldn’t kick you under this table.”
“I’d still kiss you.”
“You’re impossible.”
He smirks. “Yeah. But I’m your problem.”
You’re in the middle of pretending to care about Steve and Nat’s back-and-forth on training strategies when your phone buzzes in your lap.
[bucky]: come to the kitchen. 5 mins. say you forgot the hot sauce.
You bite your lip to keep from grinning. He sees it and smiles with just one side of his mouth.
A few minutes later, you slide your chair back, muttering something about needing Sriracha. No one blinks. They're all too busy arguing over which dessert to try first.
You slip into the kitchen.
And there he is. Leaning against the counter, arms crossed, eyes already on you. Like he wasn’t just sitting beside you five minutes ago.
“I’m starting to think I’m more addicted to seeing you than caffeine,” he says, that soft smile tugging at his lips.
You walk right into his arms. He smells like clean laundry and something you can’t place—something that’s just him.
“I don’t think that’s a bad thing.”
“Tell that to Sam,” he mutters. “He said I’ve been grumpy all week. I was just missing this.”
His fingers brush your cheek, his thumb grazing the curve of your jaw. You lean up and kiss him—quick, soft, sweet. The kind of kiss that says I wish we had more time.
And then you steal another.
And another.
He groans, resting his forehead against yours. “Okay. One more, and then I’m walking back in there like nothing happened.”
You smirk. “You have lipstick on your mouth.”
“Dammit.”
When you both return, the table’s still buzzing, still full of warmth and noise and people who feel like home. Bucky catches your eye as you pass him the dessert like it’s nothing.
But you know. And he knows. And your heart is doing somersaults when Bucky leans in again.
“You’ve got whipped cream on your lip.”
You freeze. Glance at him, wary. “Do I?”
He nods solemnly and you wipe your mouth with a napkin. “Better?”
He tilts his head, eyes sparkling. “Not really. Might need to check later.”
You kick him under the table.
Dinner winds down slowly, plates are half-empty, dessert is more whipped cream than anything else, and everyone’s full in that way that makes you too lazy to move.
Tony’s talking about building a pizza oven on the roof. Clint is inexplicably napping in his chair. Wanda’s stealing bites off Sam’s plate while pretending not to. And you?
Your face hurts from smiling, your stomach’s full, but you still offer to clean up.
“I’ll do the dishes,” you say, already sliding your chair back.
A second later, Bucky glances your way. “I’ll help.”
“Seriously?” Sam teases. “Since when do you volunteer?”
“Since now,” Bucky says coolly, already following you into the kitchen.
You roll your eyes, but your heart is racing.
The kitchen is quieter than the dining room, where the others are still laughing, picking at desserts, arguing over who cheated in charades last week. In here, it’s just you, the soft clink of dishes, and Bucky—close behind you.
You roll up your sleeves and start running the water, pretending your hands aren’t slightly shaking. “You don’t actually have to help, you know.”
“I know,” he says, leaning a hip against the counter beside you. “But I want to.”
You glance at him sidelong. “You hate doing dishes.”
He shrugs. “I’ve done worse.”
You snort, handing him a dish towel. The two of you fall into a rhythm quiet, easy. You wash, he dries. Occasionally your arms brush, and each time it’s like a tiny electric pulse zips up your spine. You tell yourself not to overthink it. You fail.
“You were quiet at dinner,” you say, scrubbing at a particularly stubborn bit of lasagna like it personally offended you. “Well. Except for all the flirting.”
Bucky doesn’t answer right away. When he does, his voice is low. “I like watching everyone like that. Laughing. Being...normal.” He pauses. “I like watching you.”
You freeze, dish half-submerged in sudsy water. Slowly, you turn to look at him. “That supposed to be smooth?”
He grins, shameless. “Did it work?”
You don’t answer. You can’t. Because he’s looking at you again—that way he does, like he knows exactly what he’s doing to you, and worse, that he means every bit of it. Your heart is somewhere in your throat.
“Bucky,” you say, unsure what comes next.
But then he sets the dish towel down. Steps a little closer. And when you don’t move he reaches up and brushes a wet strand of hair from your cheek.
“You gonna kick me under the sink,” he murmurs, “or are you finally gonna let me kiss you?”
Your breath catches. “There are at least three Avengers in earshot.”
“Then I’ll be quick.”
And he is. But somehow it still feels slow, like the whole world holds its breath for you, just for this. It’s not desperate. It’s not showy. It’s just real. When he pulls back, you blink up at him, dazed. “You call that quick?”
He grins, a little smug. “Told you I’ve done worse.”
You roll your eyes, but you’re smiling too. “You missed a spot,” you say, tossing him a still-dripping plate.
He catches it one-handed, totally unfazed. “You’re lucky I like you.”
You bump your hip into his, reaching for a fresh towel. “I tolerate it.”
There’s a beat of silence before he adds, “You know, I kinda like this.”
“The dishes?”
“No. This.” He gestures between you. “You. Me. Elbow-deep in soap. Feels… nice.”
You reach over and flick a bubble at him.
He blinks, deadpan. “Did you just—”
You do it again, giggling. He retaliates by flicking water at your face. You shriek. He laughs.
“What, you can handle HYDRA but not a splash of water?” he teases.
You grab the sprayer.
“Don’t you dare.”
“I dare.”
There’s a short-lived, extremely wet battle that ends with Bucky shielding himself with a dish towel and you both breathless from laughter, leaning against the counter like you’ve run a marathon.
“I think we’re officially banned from post-dinner cleanup now,” you say, still giggling.
“Worth it.”
There’s a pause. He looks at you, hair a little damp, cheeks pink from laughing. And then he leans in again, just because he can. Just because you’re both still smiling.
When he pulls back, he murmurs, “Think we can sneak off to dry off somewhere quieter?”
You grin. “Only if you promise not to start a water war in the hallway.”
“No promises.” But you link your pinky with his anyway.
And that’s when it happens. A very deliberate throat-clear from the doorway. You both freeze like guilty teenagers. Natasha’s leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed, one brow raised like she’s watching a soap opera. “You two done playing splashy-splash, or should I get you floaties?”
Bucky groans softly, his head thudding against the cabinet door behind him. You try to hide behind the dish towel. It doesn’t work.
Natasha steps further into the room, clearly savoring this. “Didn’t know dishwashing came with a swim option.”
“We were just—” you start.
“—cleaning,” Bucky finishes, not even trying to sound convincing.
“Mhm,” Natasha hums, giving you both the kind of look that could peel paint. “You know, for two people trying so hard to look casual, you’re not very good at it.”
Before you can respond, there’s a loud clink from the doorway. Steve steps in, completely unbothered. Holding a slice of pie on a plate like it’s the most important thing in the world.
 “Is everything okay here?”
Natasha raises an eyebrow but doesn’t say anything more. Instead, she shoots you one last look, a knowing glint in her eye. “Alright, alright. Carry on with your... dishes.” She turns, heading toward the door, but not before adding with a teasing smile, “Don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.”
Steve watches her leave, clearly lost in his pie-induced bliss. “What’s her deal?”
You and Bucky exchange an amused look before Bucky mutters, “You really don’t want to know.”
Steve shrugs. “Yeah, probably not.”
And just like that, the moment passes. Natasha's suspicion lingers in the air for only a second longer before Steve’s back to his pie, you’re back to drying dishes, and Bucky’s smile is a little too smug for anyone’s good.

Causerie: an informal conversation
Tumblr media
Channeling the self-control of a brigade of soldiers, Arthur willed his unruly cock flaccid as he left the post office. An envelope addressed to Tacitus Kilgore in familiar dainty cursive teased him from inside his satchel. The nagging twinge in his gut could only be satiated by his fist wrapped tight around himself in the solitude of his tent.
He didn’t know how he’d make it through the rest of the day without losing his sanity. Once you’d unknowingly planted the seeds, his thoughts of you grew wild and untamed like the weeds at your feet. He’d never seen something so ridiculous—a woman in her day dress, the lacy hem stained with dirt, trying to repair a loose fence post on her own.
“No man ’round here?” he had asked, holding his hand out for the hammer.
“There is now.”
You beamed, your smile stunning him like a camera flash. Unbeknownst to him, that grin was a brand, marking him as yours for a long time to come.
Every time he passed by the quiet homestead, he found himself lightly pulling on Boadicea’s reins and scoping out something to fix. Your ways of showing gratitude, like a hug or kiss on the cheek, turned his neck to shades of crimson, yet he’d still come knocking again some time later. On his last visit, you were dragging him to your room by cotton suspenders, mouth attached to his before he could get a word in.
An innocent lamb you were not—he was sure of it now in a half-daze, hypnotized by your breasts as you bounced on top of him. Matter of fact, you must’ve been a witch or a succubus; he’d never felt so used, drained, and perfectly satisfied.
And guilty, too. He couldn’t even look at you as he confessed to his life of criminality, finally admitting what he’d come to tell you in the first place. After this job, he was leaving for good.
To his surprise, you didn’t put up a fight—just wished him well—and dammit, that made him want you even more. You didn’t follow him outside—only watched from under the blanket as he said his last goodbye and promise.
“I’ll write t’you.”
Receiving your letters kept his heart ticking and dick aching. What started as a pile of polite notes quickly transformed into a library of erotica. His hands trembled in anticipation as he opened the latest letter.
Dear Arthur,
Are you still alive? I hope you haven’t gone and gotten yourself killed. I’m sorry if I kept you waiting. A new photographer opened up in town, and I stopped by the studio one evening just before he closed. I may have batted my lashes and stood a little too close when I asked for his help. A special photo of me would be the perfect gift for my dear husband, who was about to be shipped away to war in the Philippines. You should’ve seen how red he got when I dropped my blouse. I tried to sit pretty. Did it work?
A photo? Arthur checked the discarded envelope, searching for the supposed gift. A small photo was still tucked away in the envelope. He took it out and held it up to the lantern to get a good look.
Christ.
You were directly in the center of the camera with a lazy smile on your face. Pearls adorned your neck, and velvet cloth draped over your shoulders, just barely covering those twin humps on your chest. Fuck, he wanted to rip that photographer’s head clean off his shoulders for capturing you like that, but goddamn, he wanted to shake the man’s hand too. This slip of paper was a slice of heaven on Earth.
And for what he was about to do with it, he was going straight to hell. Setting the letter aside, the gunslinger undressed down to his union suit with the ardor of his twenty-year-old self. As he settled back onto the cot, he locked on to your sultry eyes and sighed contently.
I had a dream about you. Do you ever dream about me?
The bulge in his pants begged for attention, and he appeased it, palming himself idly while his eyes stayed trained on the photograph. He’s too old and weathered for this—pining over some girl and touching himself like he’d gotten a second wind of puberty.
But he couldn’t help it. Even after deafening gun fights and vicious animal attacks, he’d find a letter to re-read, and now he had this picture to accompany his fantasies. His gaze shifted from the photo back to your words on the page.
We were in this beautiful room in a palace or someplace like that, swimming under blankets. It was far from my humble bed, but it felt like paradise.
If only you knew, that little bed was his paradise.
Dream you tasted like whiskey and ash and smelled like leather and gunpowder. I don’t think it was too far off from the real thing. We weren’t wearing any clothes, of course, and your head was tucked between my thighs.
Breath shaking, his hips shifted upward, the memory of your thighs on either side of him overwhelming his senses. Arthur sucked in his bottom lip and didn’t waste any more time undoing the bottom two buttons of his union suit. His cock sprung free, twitching and yearning. Flicking his eyes to your photo once more, his right hand moved on its own, kneading his leaking tip. He peeked over the edge of the paper, watching precum drizzle down his shaft, imagining it was you leaking around him.
Oh, Arthur, I could feel your lips on every part of me at once, kissing up my stomach, bosom, arms, thighs, legs, all over. But when you found my lips again, I don’t know how my pounding heart didn’t suck me out of the dream. Has anyone ever told you how gorgeous your eyes are or how heavenly your hands feel? And your back, Mister Morgan, is like a brick wall. How I wish I could’ve dug my nails into it.
Arthur’s fisted pace quickened as he stifled a groan, trying his very best to keep the sounds of his sin quiet. He urged himself downward into the cot, hoping the friction could mimic the sting of your nails dragging down his spine, but it was no use. Tightening his grip in frustration, he turned his attention back to the photograph of you. He wanted to study your hands, to imprint them in his mind’s eye so he could imagine them scratching his back and pleasuring his cock.
But the photo was too close up, only your face and a peak of your breasts captured at that moment in time. Would he be too brazen to ask for another? To request a pose? Hell—he’d stuff the money in an envelope with a list of the depraved positions he’d like to see you in. Your hands on your bust, legs spread open, on all fours, one with your pretty fingers in your mouth, and a full body shot with just the pearls. Dammit—he’d kill for it.
But then, at the very end of the list, he’d ask for a respectable one. One of you with your hair pinned up under a fancy hat, dressed in your finest, wearing a necklace, earrings, and a bracelet with your hands folded politely over your lap. One that was sweet and proper. One that he could tuck in his journal, frame, or pin up on the wagon. One that he could take out in broad daylight and pretend, just for a moment, that he really was that war vet admiring a photo of his loving spouse.
His hips moved involuntarily again, jutting up into his fist—the placeholder for the pussy of the woman he’d one day make his wife.
I didn’t plan to get you in bed that night, as unbelievable as that may sound. You were just so damn handsome and so so kind. I couldn’t help it. I needed to know how you’d feel inside me. I hope you don’t see me as just some Jezebel.
“No,” he gasped out. Wet sounds of his strokes accompanied his declaration.
I really did and still do have feelings for you, Arthur. It’s quite scary, actually. Maybe that’s why my dreams about you are so vivid? I realized just how much I cared that night, looking down into your eyes. I don’t take you as the type of man to just give yourself away on a normal day like that, so I hope you feel the same way as me. Did I ever say thank you? Thank you for being such a giver. I have a tendency to take, take, take when I’m on top, but you got payback in my dream. You had me pinned under all of your weight, damn near suffocating me. It was the good type, though. When you pushed into me, I forgot all about it. I never took you for an eager man either, but you were drilling me into those blankets with the fervor of a threshing machine. Are you an eager man, Mister Morgan?
He answered in shallow pants, twisting his fist around his length and rocking his hips.
I have a curse of waking up right when I’m on the edge, so as you can imagine, I had a wet problem to take care of. My fingers just don’t quite do it like you. I wish we could’ve had more time together. I get the feeling that you do a lot of taking care of other folks and don’t get that in return. Am I right? I’d take care of you, Arthur. I’d keep your belly full and drain your balls all in a night.
They tightened at the thought, and his hips were a piston now, going up and down on their own accord.
I know you’d never ask because you’re too nice, but I’d get on my knees for you and take care of you in that way. I’m sad we never got to try it, that I never got to taste you. The thought gave me the silliest idea. Are you looking at my picture? Imagine that pearl necklace is your spend on my chest.
Jesus—the perverted imagery hit him like a train. He looked at the pretty pearls atop your chest. Goddamn, minx.
Don’t think me too crass, but do you touch yourself to my letters like I touch myself to yours? Yours are more well-mannered than mine. But still, I wonder, is your fist wrapped around your cock?
“Yes, darlin.”
Goddamnit, he was talking to himself now, arm cramping as he pumped feverishly at his engorged dick, his orgasm waiting to explode behind his eyes.
Do you imagine it’s me instead? I wish it was me. I wish I was on top of you again, milking you for everything you’ve got. Would you give it to me this time, Arthur? Would you spill inside of me?
And spill he did, teeth gritted and grunting, as hot ropes of lust spurted out over his hand. Once again, he’d made a mess of himself on account of you.
Shame crept in as he floated back to reality and stared up at the canvas of his tent. He brought the letter back to his face to read the last paragraph. The least he should do was finish it—dirty old bastard. But when he landed on your words and processed them, he was left with a numb, longing ache in his chest.
If we were together, I’d help clean you up, then maybe we could spend the rest of the night all tangled up in each other. I’m sorry I’m not there to touch you for real, but I hope these letters bring a little light to that hard, lonely life of yours. If I can make you feel good, even from far away, that’s enough for me. I miss you. Any chance you could come see me soon?
Yours.
Arthur sighed and folded your letter back up neatly, tucking it away in his now hollowed-out copy of Rambles Through Woods and Plains. Though your photo and letter were out of sight, his mind refused to wander from the subject of you.
An assortment of motion pictures flickered in his memory: the way your head tipped in laughter at his dry sarcasm, how you so graciously welcomed him to that sitdown meal, the way you worried about him just as much as he worried about you, and how your words, even from afar, brought him unmeasurable comfort. Making it back across the Upper Montana could be a brutal fight, but he’d outrun the law and take a few bullets if he had to. He’d bare it all to bring you back with him.
As he relaxed into the cot, another thought drifted by, small and almost weightless like a dandelion seed in the wind: maybe he wouldn’t have to bring you back at all. Perhaps he could stay right there with you.

Do you ever wonder why someone loves you to the point you just wanna run away and hide to cry scared the voices in your head were so right this time?
Breathe in. Breathe out. Breath in. Breathe out.
Don’t look in the mirror. Don’t look in the mirror. Don't do it.
Shit, shit, shit.
Breathe in. Breath out. Breathe in. Breath out.
“Love? Are you alright in there?”
Dammit. You looked in the mirror.
Fuck.
“y/n? are you crying?” Lando’s voice softened. His tone was a mix between worry and concern. All the red alarms started sounding in his head.
He knew you way too much. And you knew it. He could see right through you. Straight into your bullshit.
“y/n… let me in, baby. Open the door” his voice was soft yet commanding. His heart clenched just in anticipation of what might be happening to you. And he really wished it wasn't that case this time because he hates seeing you cry. He hates to know you hate yourself to the point you cry when you look in the mirror. But he knew. Damn, he knew. It was a very triggering day for you.
A glamorous and luxurious yacht. Mediterranean Sea surrounding you both. Models and influencers and singers and actresses. Money, everywhere. Channel dresses, Gucci suits, high heels stilettos. Short dresses, even long furry gowns. Red lipstick and champagne. A Martini in your hand and that voice… that voice in your head turning everything around you into grey. Yes, you wore a beautiful black short dress. But you weren’t skinny enough. Yes, you wore those high heels you like so much, yet you didn't look gracious walking them. Yes, you had beautiful natural makeup but it wasn’t flawless. And yes, you also had your silk hair falling down your shoulders, but it wasn’t shiny enough.
And you were never enough for the circles he moved around. The fancy events, full of glamorous people. You were just… you.
And maybe, you weren’t enough for him either.
Not high fashion. Not worried about how big your lips were, or how sharp your jaw is, even if your nose was too big or tiny enough. You were just… you.
And you hated it.
But he loved you for it. He loved you because you were just you. The most beautiful natural super complex kind and sweet human he ever met. His best friend, his personal comedian, the love of his life. And he wouldn’t trade you for anything or anyone. He didn’t care about models and their perfect beauty. He didn’t care about flat stomachs or thin thighs. He didn’t care at all. But he cared about your heart, your kind and caring nature, your happiness and that beautiful witty brain of yours making him laugh every time. He loved the way you always kept him on his toes. He was there always wanting more of you. Of those beautiful shiny eyes looking at him. That gorgeous soft smile on your lips.the sound of your giggles when he said the stupidest things. The warmth of your body and how perfectly it fits in his arms. The way your moans sounded. The way he could make you lose control and reach your high.
Every time. All the time. He couldn’t get enough of you. That's how gone he was for you.
Hopelessly and utterly in love with all of you.
But your head was never a warm place to be at. And it was not that easy to convince. Your parents never taught you how to love yourself. Never complimented you. Never appreciated the good things you did. They never told you how proud they were of you. Or if they even loved you. They were always distant and as a kid - that hurt.
The only time they said something was to actually tell you how bad you fucked up or how disappointed they were. They never asked how you were or if school was good that day.
It was lonely.
Just you and your head - your best friend.
Or your worst enemy.
“Baby… open the door, let me hold you… please” Lando pleaded from outside the bathroom door. Your sobs were so loud he could hear them clear as if he wasn’t in another room. “Cmon baby…” he spoke again in a more vulnerable plea. His heart breaking at listening to you so upset and being unable to do something.
But then, you opened the door.
Lando held his breath for a second when the door opened and he found your fragile frame sobbing out like a scared little girl. His heart broke further. He immediately wrapped his arms around you, holding you tight against him. He cradled your head against his chest. A sweet loving kiss was pressed on the top of your head. He held you gentle yet firmly. You were the most precious thing on this earth for him and it hurt seeing you so broken. He wished he could take your pain away and make it all better.
“I got you, baby… you’re alright” he murmured sweet words to comfort you while his fingers tangled in your hair caressing it gently and delicately.
“I can’t understand how you could be surrounded by so many beautiful girls and still choose me… you deserve so much better” you choked out crying against his chest. You knew this was stupid. It was a stupid thing to say but you felt it. You really felt it. You felt Lando’s arms tightening around you.
“I don’t, y/n. I love you, even when you can’t believe it or you can’t see it. Even when you hate yourself, I love you even more "Lando responded with his face nuzzled in your hair smelling your scent and keeping you close to him.
“Dont you sometimes wish I was skinnier? Prettier? Sexier?”
Your question broke his already broken heart. It wasn’t fair you felt that way. It was so unfair you thought you had to change yourself to be loved by him. The fact you didn't believe he adored your body just the way it is, hurt.
“Jesus… no, baby. No. I love you just exactly the way you are. You don’t have to change a single thing about yourself, baby” he answered softly resting his chin on your head. He closed his eyes. He could feel your hurt and it tore at his heartstrings. “Why do you think that baby? Who told you you had to change to be loved?”
“Everyone… all the time, everywhere” you said fragile.
“Baby, you’re perfect just the way you are, trust me. You’re so fucking gorgeous it should be illegal to be so pretty and amazing. I love everything about you, y/n. Your body, every curve, every inch of you it’s so perfect to me. Your beautiful face… everything. Don't change a thing. You don’t need to.” he kissed the top of your head again gently. His hands were roaming over your body slowly, his touch delicate around your curves loving the way your soft skin felt under his hands.
“I can’t understand why you like me so much” you sniffed, pulling apart from his chest to wipe your face in vain. His eyes softened when he saw your tear stained face. And he couldn’t help the butterflies in his stomach. you looked so pretty even when you were a crying mess.
“Then let me count my reasons, okay?” He said softly, looking at you intently. His hand cupped your face softly. His thumbs gently tried to wipe away your tears that kept falling silently through your cheeks. Your eyes looked at him with such vulnerability and pain. He couldn’t help but press a loving kiss on your forehead lingering there for a few seconds. “Just hear me out, okay?” He smiled as you nodded. He really wanted to make you smile again. He wished he could change history so you didn’t carry this pain.
“One, because you’re so smart, baby. I love that brain of yours. I love your job and how driven you are for what you do, you know? I admire you so much. Two, because you’re so funny I'm always almost pissing my pants around you. I swear, every moment with you is never a boring one. Whether it's when we're watching a movie and goofing off on the couch, or when we go to a party, or when we're hanging out with our friends, or when we're just chilling at home, it's never goddamn dull with you. You keep me on my toes and keep things interesting, and I never once get bored with you. You're too damn cute and adorable…it's almost overwhelming. Three, because you're so goddamn caring, sweetheart. You're such a good person, so kind and friendly, and I love how easy it is for you to like almost anyone, even when they're grumpy and closed-off like me” a little warm smile appeared on his face when he saw your eyes lighting up. “Four, because you're so damn patient, sweetheart. You put up with my grumpy, grumpy ass, you put up with my grumpy moods and my shitty, sarcastic humor. You put up with the side that I don't let most people see, and you've never once complained. I don't know what the hell I did to deserve someone as perfect as you, but I'm so damn glad I did it. You put up with my annoying ass, and it's a damn wonder I haven't driven you damn nuts already, honestly.” He heard that cute little giggle between your tears and his heart almost stopped of how much love he felt for you in that moment. “Five, because you're so damn open-minded, baby. You don't judge me, you always listen when I talk, you don't get annoyed when I talk about racing for hours on end, you don't get annoyed when I nerd out over something, you don't make me feel like I'm some weird little nerd who talks too much and obsesses over little things. You never make me feel like a damn loser for how excited I get when I talk about something, you just listen and ask questions. It's goddamn wonderful… six, because you're so goddamn forgiving. You've never not once held anything against me, never once brought up any of the dumbass things I've said, any mistakes I've made. You forgive my screwups, you forgive me when I mess up, and you forgive me when I'm in a shitty mood, even if I'm being a grumpy, snarky shithead to you. You just roll your eyes and laugh at me, and you forgive me so quickly, you're so damn understanding… Sometimes, I feel it’s unfair for you to be so good to me. Seven, because you're so adorable when you cry. It breaks my damn heart. you always look so goddamn cute when you're all emotional. Your eyes get all damn watery and wide, and your lips get all pouty and trembling, and you can cry a damn river and get all messy, and you still look cute as hell with tearstains down your face and it makes me want to hug the hell out of you and hold you against me forever and keep you safe from this cruel ugly world that hurt you this bad… you don’t deserve feeling this way, love. You are the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life. And not only because you’re gorgeous but because you are such a nice person, you have a heart of hold, baby. I don’t care about how you look like. I care about the way you make me feel… loved, cared for, happy… that's all that matters to me, you got it?” His voice was so gentle and caring - it made you smile through the tears.
“You can’t be real, Norris” you said wiping your face looking at him. The way he patiently listed some of his reasons why he loved you without complaining. Without saying it was stupid. You listened to every word. They touched every single broken spot in your being. But god, it felt healing at least a tiny bit. And that was everything to you.  You watched him chuckle softly at your comment.
“I'm real and I'm all yours, baby” he said grinning and pulled you closer to kiss your cheek with lovingly sweet pecks making you smile wider. “I love you, y/n. I love you so much” he said tenderly caressing your cheeks melting your heart.
“I love you, too, Lan” you said the same way in a little stupid smile. Love shining through your eyes. His heart skipped a beat at the beautiful sight of you - smiling and looking at him with so much love.
You were perfect.
“Should I go on? I could be hours telling you how pretty and amazing and precious you are to me” he murmured in a playful and loving tone making you giggled.
“Lucky you I have all night for your praise, baby” you answered playful too in a wide smile.

tongue-tied 𝜗𝜚 s.r
Tumblr media
Spencer breaks up with you because he’s been arrested for murder. he refuses to see or talk about you and you–dumbfounded–force your way back into his life by becoming his lawyer.
who? spencer reid x known!reader when? s12 genre: novella content warning: a bit angsty in the beginning, open ending?, little mention of work stress/not feeling like enough/feeling too much... ..reid with warm care !! word count: 3.5k a/n: i had a really vivd dream about this scenario; i don't know if any of you know what tiktok shifting is, but it felt like that–where it was first person pov and i didn't know i was dreaming until i woke up...enjoy!!
Tumblr media
The ceiling fan buzzed; you wiped your eyes and stood, heading for the switch when your phone rang on the table. Your heart leaped and you rushed back to the table, forgetting the annoyance that moments ago haunted you.
It was him–you grinned and clicked answer, “Spencer, hey are you b–
“—...”
“Hey,” frowning, you took a seat at your desk, pulling a leg up on the chair to lean on, “what’s going on? Are you alright?”
You heard his breath on the other side of the line. Shaky–it passe over you like a cloud. You felt tears spring into your own eyes. You were never equipped to handle things like this–Spencer knew that–he was the yapper and you were the listener–but he wasn’t yapping right now.
“Spencer, say something…” you bit your thumb, “where are you?” You stood, moving your hands around in search of your keys, “I’m coming to get you–
“I don’t think it’s a good idea for us to see each other anymore…”
Your keys fell from your hand and you dumbly slid back into your chair, glancing at the documents spread out in front of you–you had just finished a case that day–you were writing out your report and sorting the files in order. “What did you say?...”
There was no response, only heavy breathing. A tear broke free and you were quick to swipe it away.
“Where is this coming from?” Your voice, though quivering, full–you knew he could hear it–he could hear how pathetic you sounded, “did something happen in Mexico?”
You closed your eyes for a minute, before setting the phone down and putting him on speaker. This wasn’t happening–this was–what even happened?
“Spencer,” your voice grew louder, “dammit–Spencer answer me! I deserve a damn explanation!” You slammed your hands on your desk near your phone, knocking a few papers to the floor.
“...I know,” he dared to whisper–and then like that, the line went dead.
You slid to the floor, wailing.
Tumblr media
No calls, no messages–you’d sent around 20 throughout the night as you fell in and out of sleep. You’d left 5 voicemails and still–nothing. You tried him again this morning when you woke up, once when you got out of the shower, once before you left the house, and once before you headed into the office.
At this point, you were starting to accept the fact that maybe it really was over–but that didn’t make any sense. He hadn’t blocked you–that was something? Maybe? Or maybe you were being delusional.
There had to be something bigger behind this–something you were missing–there was no way–not the Spencer that you knew–would do something like this–
“I love you, you know that?” He kissed your exposed shoulder, it was cold and you wondered if he had accidentally left a window open.
A giggle escaped you and pushed him off your back, “Spence–I need to–” Another laugh cut off your sentence as he kissed your neck, “Come on seriously,” you gave him a once over, “I need to work.”
He had an old, tall lamp that stood in the corner of his den–you remember helping him pick it out from the thrift store–Spencer was a thrifting-obsessed maniac. But you loved that about him. “Work can wait for tomorrow,” he whined.
You raised an incredulous brow, “Do I ever say that when Penelope calls?” His apartment had that same fresh parchment smell it always seemed to have.
“Fine,” Spencer sighed, “do you want takeout?”
You gripped the back of his desk chair, grinning, “I thought you’d never ask.”
There had to be some sort of misunderstanding–Spencer wouldn’t just up and do something like this to you, not after the year you’d been together. You were expecting to take the next step with him–not a breakup–
“This is great, I’ll email you some of the newer cases and you can take your pick.”
“Actually,” you grimaced, “I was wondering if I could take a few days off, one or two would be great.”
Your boss assessed you, his eyes roamed over your tired eyes and a messy ponytail. “Everything alright?”
Your lips pressed together and you forced the corners to turn upward, “yep, just…tired…”
He sighed and leaned backward, crossing his hands on his belly, “I see, well yes, of course–take as many days as you need.”
Your smile brightened slightly, “thank you, Sir, really.”
He called your name when you were at the door, and you turned back, waiting, “just something to keep in mind…he’s not worth it. Don’t let it stress you out too much, you’re a great lawyer. Okay?”
You took a breath and closed your eyes. When they reopened, you fixed them on your boss, “Thank you, I know you’re just being kind. But with all due respect, Sir, you don’t know what you’re talking about.”
The Beauru wasn’t too far away from your office, perhaps a few blocks. You made it there in 15 minutes with traffic and were stepping through the doors in 20.
You tried Emily’s cell, but she didn’t pick up, and none of the other team members were responding either–you called Luke, but he didn’t pick up. You thanked the receptionist for your visitor pass, she’d grown accustomed to your presence.
You typically had lunch with Spencer when his team didn’t have a case, sometimes he’d surprise you at the office super early or incredibly late when he wasn’t supposed to get back until the next day.
Which is why none of this made any freaking sense.
“Penelope Garcia,” you pushed open her door, but she wasn’t there. Recognition crossed your face when you saw her little fidgets and gadgets spread across her desk. Her computer was open, but locked. You frowned and stepped away from it. Should you just wait here?
Spencer normally accompanied you whenever you were at the Beaureu, you felt out of place without him. You huffed a sigh and sat in her chair, Spencer wouldn’t be able to resist spinning himself, the thought made you chuckle, but just as quickly, the memory of him dumping you via phone call crossed your mind.
Over a fucking phone call? You set your purse off to the side and swiped up on your phone again. There was something seriously wrong. You would get to the bottom of this if it meant forcing it out of everyone here.
“Ah, perfect timing,” you spun around, meeting Penelope face to…well waist.
“Uh…hi,” she said.
“You hesitated–” you jabbed a finger at her and stood.
“I–” she looked behind her as if you were on a reality TV show and cameras were hiding in plain sight, “huh?–wha–no, no no no.” She stepped forward, “whywhatar–e you doing here?”
You averted your eyes to the floor, “It's Spencer…”
“Oh,” she nodded, “he’s…not here at the moment…but I will–I can call you or text! You…if that’s what you…want.”
“Garcia,” you didn’t want to be mean. You didn’t want to be rude–but being around profilers all the time, she should’ve known how to hide her lies better.
“Okay–fine,” she waved her hands in her face, chest deflating, “but you can’t tell anyone I told you–least of all Reid–he’d…” she grimaced, “...hate me for life.”
“Garcia–”
“–Okay, right, yeah, you wanna–” she motioned with her hands and walked forward.
You followed her with your gaze, widening your eyes expectantly, “…well?”
“Oh boy– you’re gonna wanna sit down for this.”
“If there’s another woman Garcia, just tell me, I can take it–
Her eyes narrowed, “Oh no–God no–Ried would never–he’s crah–zy about you…trust me he never shuts up–anyway,” she shook her head and flailed her arms, “What I’m trying to say is that Reid would never cheat–he isn’t that kind of person. He–
“So then why!?”
“Reids in prison!” Her hands covered her mouth and her eyes grew, “oh my gosh I just said that–he’s gonna–he’ll never forgive me–
Your heart plummeted, “Spencer’s in…prison…?”
Tumblr media
Penelope coughed up his file pretty easily. After getting her to spill the big beans on what happened in Mexico–or at least what Spencer had been able to remember, it wasn’t too hard to convince her that if Spencer hated her already, what would it matter that she do anything else?
You sped home, pulled into your complex, and ran toward your apartment. Upon locking the door, you set your things on your couch and took his files to your room. At a time like like this you really wished you had a pet, someone to comfort you–were it not for the surrounding circumstances, you could rely on Spencer. He was always there.
Which is why–despite his shitty breakup call–you had to be here for him, when he was at his lowest.
But first, you needed to cry.
A load of salty fries and two water bottles later, you were tying your hair back into a bun and grabbing a red marker. The copies Penelope had made for you proved to have nothing other than a few written statements from first responders–most of which did not favor Spencer–the crime scene photos, that were hard to look at, though nothing of which you hadn’t seen before.
And finally, his statement–his recollection pulled together in a jumble of phrases and half-sentences. Your heart lapsed again. You pushed everything in front of you and rubbed your face. It was getting late. Almost eight, you most likely weren’t on his visitation list–and if he’d kept all of this from you–he most definitely wouldn’t be expecting you.
Which is exactly why you had just one last favor to ask of Penelope.
Tumblr media
You defended minor criminals whom you believed innocent on most, if not all accounts–the majority of the cases you took on favored your clients. You had slowly been working your way up to higher crimes–your last case had been a series of robberies, resulting in a shootout, though no one had died, the second it crossed your screen, you knew you had to take it.
This was your first murder case–though it wasn’t officially yours…yet. You needed more information, but first and foremost, you needed Spencer to agree.
Millburn Correctional Facility wasn’t the place you dreamt about when you wanted to escape reality–but Spencer was here, and he didn’t look happy to see you. The buzzer sounded and the doors were opened, the prisoners failed into the room in a straight line.
When he turned to face you, his expression became unreadable, you knew something was off then, because Spencer was always readable to you. His skin looked ghostly pale and his eyes looked a bit sunken–but that was still your Spencer behind the glass.
“What are you doing here?”  Was the first thing he asked upon picking up the phone.
“Did you really think I wouldn’t find out?”
A breath passed between his lips where words should have been.
“Spencer, why didn’t you want me to know? Why did you–this is why you broke up with me, right?” He remained silent, eyes scanning something on your shirt, “am I right?”
He shook his head, “you shouldn’t be here.”
“How could I not come?” Exasperated, you slammed a hand onto the table in front of you, lowering your voice when you met the gazes of the other visitors.
“Who told you, Garcia?” He scoffed, “Did she also get you on my visitation list–is that–is that how you’re here?–”
“–The better question is why you didn’t tell me yourself.”
Spencer shook his head, “I can’t believe she would do that–
“You asked them?” You grit your teeth and take a calming breath, “you asked them to not tell me? That’s why no one’s been picking up my calls or messages?”
“That’s–
“–It’s what, Spencer?”
He went silent again.
You leaned forward, pressing the phone to your ear, “What happened in Mexico?”
“I can’t–I’m not allowed to discuss that with you–
“No,” you sat back and crossed your leg, the pencil skirt you wore riding up your thigh, “but you can with your lawyer.”
“What? No.” He shook his head, “No. I’m telling you right now, I will never agree to that.” He looked so set in his decision. Your bottom lip quivered a bit, you clamped down to keep it from giving you away.
“I’m not taking no for an answer.”
The buzzer sounded again, “I already have a lawyer.” He shoved the phone back on its hinges and stood, you followed.
“I don’t care,” you shouted through the glass. Spencer’s eyes looked glazed over, you wanted to hug him–you wanted to breathe him in and tell him everything would be alright. But somewhere in you felt him drifting away, and no matter how hard you tried, you couldn’t reach him.
“Don’t come back.” These were his final words before he was taken away.
The chair provided you with some stability–though tears pricked the corner of your eyes as you watched the back of him disappear. “Ma’am, it’s time.” An officer led you and the other visitors back through the doors, toward the front.
You wouldn’t give up. This was your case. You would make it yours.
Tumblr media
“We can’t do that.”
“Why not?”
“It’s…nothing personal–”
“–Except it,” Emily sighed, “I’m sorry,” she murmured your name, looking at the picture of sorrow, “I really am, but…” she pursed her lips and glanced away, “you’re not gonna let this go?”
“How could I?” You scoffed and stood, “This case is mine, Emily–whether you decide to help me is up to you.” You headed for the door, but Fiona, Spencer’s current lawyer called you back.
You glanced at her over your shoulder, waiting. She glanced away and blew out air, “I appreciate you thinking about me, and I’m glad to know you have this much confidence in me…”
“But…?” Emily slumped her shoulders and nodded, “All alright,” you spun around to face her, meeting her resolve with a heavy heart.
“If you can get Reid to agree, the case is yours.”
You let out a breath and dropped your firm stance, tears springing into the corners of your eyes. You looked up and blinked them away, “thank you. You have no idea how much this means to me.”
“I think I have a rather good idea.” Emily’s smile was faint but evident.
“And thank you, Fiona,” you tried for a smile, surprised to find it somewhat genuine.
“Don’t be. This case is going to be rough–”
“Oh, and paired with the fact that Reid will never agree to it.”
“Wow, thanks for the confidence, Emily.” You snorted out.
She held up her hands, “I’m sorry, good luck.”
Emily watched you slip behind her office door and down the steps of the Beaureu. “Do you think he really won’t accept?” Fiona mumbled.
Emily turned toward her old friend and pressed a thing to smile to her lips, shrugging, “I have no idea.”
Fiona sat back down and ran her hands through her hair, “Yeah, but, I can tell why she’s so persistent.”
“Okay, why?” Though Emily had an inkling of suspicion herself, she never wanted to assume anything.
“Because she loves him–with her whole heart.”
“People in love do stupid things,” Emily clicked her tongue.
“Sometimes I wish someone would love me enough to do stupid things for me.”
“It’s a both blessing and a curse.”
“I’ll raise to that.”
The two friends laughed as their morning coffee cups met.
Tumblr media
The prison was icky–perhaps you should have worn sweats this time. You crossed our legs, trying to ignore the stares.
“I told you not to come back here.” Spencer hissed.
“You don’t own me, Spencer. You cannot tell me what to do–
“–No, but I can take you off my visitor list.”
“You wouldn’t.”
“Try me–”
“–Spencer!” Gosh, what was wrong with him!?
Fragments of his voice seeped through the speaker on the old landline. A hairsbreadth of a word, a name–your name.
You watched the phone in horror. Why–Why? Wasn’t he letting you help him? Did he not think you were capable? “Spencer.” You said in response. “Spencer. Spencer. Spencer.”
“Dammit.” He cursed and a guard asked if you were alright, of course, you were alright. He would never hurt you. That wasn’t him. Prison wouldn’t change Spencer–there was no way–
“Tell me something.” You urged, “Tell me something outlandish–something no one would know about unless they were…you.”
He flinched. His pupils dilated and you could tell he was thinking of what to say next. “Why are you doing this?”
The tone in his voice unnerved you. It reached the cracks in your body that led to your soul. He sounded tired–so tired from the last you’d been to see him. You would not be pushed down. You wouldn’t give in–this wasn’t scrabble or chess–this was his life. How could he not see that?
“You know why.” You watched him–every tick, every muscle; every movement, you analyzed, and perhaps overanalyzed, but you didn’t know another person who wouldn’t in your situation.
“Yeah,” he whispered, “I know.”
Tumblr media
Two weeks later you were taken off Spencer’s visitor list, which was madness because you had thought you’d had this conversation already.
“Penelope Garcia,” you spun around in her chair.
“AH–Gya, you’ve got to stop doing that. I half-expect you to be petting an evil cat in your lap.”
“Why did he take me off, what’s going on? Has there been a break in the case? Nothing had come across my desk since Tara’s cognitive with him.”
Penelope averted her eyes and fidgeted with the chunky rings on her fingers.
“Penelope I’m serious. Why does he keep doing this? What is going on? Something happened? Right? That’s why he doesn’t want me to see him? I drove down there yesterday and waited two hours just to be told I couldn’t see him.” You weren’t seething, but you were close to it.
“I–I don’t know, honestly.”
“But you know someone who does,” you stepped forward, “Penelope come on,” you fell against the wall, holding in all your emotional turmoil that has caused you to have freak accidents. “I’m losing him, Penelope.” You swallowed and slid to the floor of her office, “I’m losing myself.”
“Oh, oh sweetie,” she crouched down, pushing hair out of your eyes. Her fingers slid across your tear-stricken face, “...Emily. Emily knows.”
You took a moment and sat up, gulping down your breakdown, then breathing out, “Thank you.”
Tumblr media
Up until the new documents crossed your desk, you neglected to see Spencer. You couldn’t–you didn’t want to. Not after you knew the reason behind why he’d taken you off the list.
It was too much–this entire situation was too much. Sometimes you had felt like you were bearing everything on your shoulders alone and no one was asking you to–no one cared because no one had wanted you on this case in the damned first place.
“Cat Adams, that name ring a bell?”
“The psycho hitwoman you guys captured months ago?”
Rossi and Emily exchanged glances, “yeah…” she motioned for you to sit down, “you’re going to want to sit for this.”
The lights in her office seemed to grow brighter with each sentence that flew from her mouth. Your soul stitching itself back together, that was how you felt when you left her office. You were on your way to Spencer once more, he was free. He didn’t do it.
Hi false testimony wasn’t Scratch playing games–he really was just too deluded. He wanted to remember so badly, his mind gave him false memories.
It disturbed you more than you would have liked to admit. Spencer was a prodigy–a genius in simple terms–and if even he couldn’t trust his own brain in times like these, could you ever trust yours?
Tumblr media
“You don’t have to do this if you don’t want to.” Spencer paced back and forth in front of you; JJ stood in the corner watching.
“She’s right, Spence, we can find another way–”
“–No. No, I can do this.” He ran a hand over his face.
“Hey–hey–” you grabbed his shirt and cupped his jaw in one of your hands, “it’s okay. I’ll be right outside.”
Spencer breathed you in, were it not for the stress he would have melted in your hands. He dind’t know how to express to you how deeply he had come to love you. You were the sun on his rainy days, you were leaves when Fall took them from the trees. The ocean when he was stranded on a desert island.
He wanted to walk into his house and find you curled up with a book in your hands, using his favorite blanket to keep the cold from reaching your warmth. He wanted to see you wearing the only t-shirt he owned, the one he’d been given when he had graduated from MIT; he wanted to curl up beside you on his couch like a cat and nuzzle his head in your lap.
There were so many things he wanted, but he wasn’t sure if he deserved any of them. “I–” he wanted to say I love you, but it didn’t seem like enough.
“I know,” you whispered. “I know.”

Could you write a bf!Jaehyun who made his gf!reader upset & trying to get her attention again by walking around shirtless/being touchy with her but reader ignores him. Days after, reader decides to turn tables and tease him instead, leading to smut?
Pairing: Jaehyun x You
Genre: fluff, romance, smut
Word Count: 1.5k
Summary: Jaehyun doesn't want to apologize, so you make him.
A/N: Hiii, I still have requests sitting around, so since I have time now, I'll get them done. Hope you like it :)
Tumblr media
“Here, let me help you.”
“I don’t need help.”
Jaehyun sighed and still squeezed himself past you to reach the upper shelf from where he got the glass of strawberry jam that you wanted for your breakfast. You flinched, but not because you hadn’t expected him to still help you, but because he was shirtless.
Had you not, only a few minutes ago, seen him leaving the bedroom wearing his hoodie? He was doing it on purpose, you knew it too well by now. And every time though, it worked… dammit.
You swallowed when you watched his arm stretch out, his defined muscles flexing with the motion. With his gaze fixed on the shelf, you were able to look at him blatantly from the side. If he could have seen you, you would have ignored him - like yesterday and the whole morning already.
You didn’t even know what you were fighting about anymore, but the point was that you expected an apology from him and he hadn’t given you one yet, claiming it wasn’t his fault and that you should apologize - the audacity?!
Just remembering this made you snap back to reality and you stopped drooling over your boyfriend’s hot body altogether again. You were together for quite a time already, you knew what his naked body was capable of, taking a few days off to let him think about what he had done wrong wouldn’t hurt you.
So when Jaehyun turned back to you, you were wearing your moody expression from before, which took him quite by surprise, you saw it written all over his face. You snatched the marmalade glass out of his hand and quickly left the kitchen.
That was a close call, you remembered thinking.
But throughout the entire day, you caught Jaehyun passing by you a little too close, wearing a bit too much aftershave, having his hair a bit too tousled and his pants hanging a bit too low… but each time, you were proud to say that were very good at resisting these temptations…
… though it took you all you’ve got to not jump on him nonetheless.
____
It had been two days since your fight and you finally had enough.
If Jaehyun didn’t want to apologize, then you would make him.
“Can you help me?”
Jaehyun entered the bedroom in a swift second. Perhaps, since you initiated this conversation, he was  hoping to finally make up with you again. Of course, you wanted that too by now, but it wasn’t going to be so easy for him.
“What is-”
The words got stuck in his throat when he spotted you, and he needed a moment to process the sight of you wearing a light, revealing negligee that only ended shortly beneath your bum. The fact that you weren’t wearing something underneath didn’t need to be spoken out, because it was Jaehyun’s favorite.
“What are you doing?” he asked carefully.
“I need help changing the sheets. Here.”
You threw a sweet, partially wicked smile at him while simultaneously handing the sheet over to him, and then shifted around - but not without shaking your bum a bit too obviously and throwing your hair over your shoulder a bit too enthusiastically.
Jaehyun dropped the sheets almost immediately and had you in his grip within an instant, embracing you tightly from behind with one hand beneath your breasts and the other between your thighs, squeezing into the flesh. It hadn’t taken much effort or time, you had known it would work. After all, it worked all the time.
You suppressed a giggle and stiffened your body in resistance while he sank his mouth in the side of your neck and started nibbling on the skin.
“I’m still mad,” you complained.
“I don’t care.”
Skillfully, he pulled away, then turned you in his grip so that a moment later, you were pressed into his chest and both his hands were grabbing your ass cheeks now, massaging them thoroughly. You cursed under your breath, he knew very well that you loved this too much, and you were asking yourself who was playing with who now and whether this had been his plan all along.
You weren’t able to say a word anymore though. Forgotten was the fact that you were still mad at him when shortly later, Jaehyun was lying underneath you on the mattress and stripped of all his clothes. With your finger tips, you traced along the lines of his abs while you simultaneously felt his length trying to pave its way past your thighs and into you. But you wouldn’t let him yet.
“Apologize,” you demanded, pressing his upper back down when he tried to brace his elbows against the mattress.
“What?”
It took you much self-control with him twitching right at your entrance, but your ego was stronger than your desire. Or that was what you thought. “Apologize now. Otherwise I won’t continue.”
Saliva had collected in your mouth, and you swallowed it all down. Admittedly, this was the hardest position you had ever been in, because the desire your head and your core expressed at the same time couldn’t be more far off from each other and not align. You didn’t know who to listen to at his point, and Jaehyun’s turned on gaze didn’t help at all.
Suddenly, he chuckled. He stretched out his hand to caress your hidden nipple under the thin fabric of the lingerie and a deep sigh escaped your lips. “But we’re already there, didn’t you notice?”
Somewhere, between your thoughts and sighs, he had slipped all the way in already, and considering how wet you had already gotten from all the teasing and foreplay, it had been so very easy for him to do so. You arched your back when Jaehyun bucked his hips up, penetrating you deep inside.
“You like it? I can see that you like it.”
“No!” you lied, and he grinned even wider.
The way your head lolled back and your thighs clenched around his groin to control the angle he was pushing into you, let him know that indeed, you were enjoying this very much. You always enjoyed whenever he did that. Only for a few moments, you let that happen.
You then heaved up your hips and came down to him, matching his rhythm and now making him moan in return. It grew pleasantly wet where your bodies were connected, adding to the sensation so that not much later, you were feeling every fiber in your body tugging on a nearing orgasm.
But you wouldn’t lose, not when you were this close, and reading Jaehyun’s expression, he was even closer. Suddenly, you halted. But as to not let all the work go to vain, you settled on his hips and just slowly slid yours back and forth, creating only enough friction to keep you both on your nearing orgasms.
“Say… it,” you repeated, your breathing coming in hitches, “apo… logize.”
“Are you being for real right now?” Shock mixed with realization on Jaehyun’s face when it dawned on him that there was probably no way for you to let him release otherwise.
“Yes.”
To prove to him how serious you were, you lifted up your hip and came slamming down on him, making him gasp the moment your bodies crashed together. And then again, and again, pushing him closer to his release… and then stopped.
Jaehyun looked at you through fluttered lids, eyes heavy and lips dry. But he didn’t say a word. Fine. You bent forward and pressed your palms against his abs, angling your spine. Then again, you heaved up your hip, this time a bit higher, and as he feared you might let him out all the way, you slowly sank down on him again. Jaehyun hated this, and you knew. He draped his forearm over his face and cursed,
“Shitshitshitshitshitshit”,
but you didn’t stop. Only when you felt the onset of his pulsing motions from within, then you rested on top of him again. Even though it was hard for you too, you could keep this going.
“FINE!”
You widened your eyes, almost not believing what you had just heard. But you had no time to rise all the way up and watch him say it to your face as Jaehyun suddenly pulled you down to lie on top of his chest with his arms wrapped around your back, and whispered into your ear,
“I’m so sorry.”
“Very well.”
Only using your hips now, you remained in this position and picked up your movements without a break. You heard Jaehyun whimpering into your ear, begging for you to go faster until his grip around you got so tight, your breath nearly caught.
“I’m cumming,” he said after not too long and eventually did so in long spurts inside of you.
When he had made you cum too, all over his hands with your teasing lingerie all gone so that he was able to use his hands exploring and triggering all sensitive spots on your body, you were lying side by side on the bed, out of breath, but thoroughly happy.
“Please,” Jaehyun then said, “let’s never argue for this long again.”
“Hm. I don’t know. I think it has quite the benefits.”
Then, you both laughed.

REALIZATION - JASON TODD
Summary: Jason realized he is in love with you.
Word count: 1k-ish
Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader
Notes: It's been a while since I've dabbled at writing so please be kind! Reblogs and comments are greatly appreciated!
Tumblr media
It was supposed to be a simple stakeout. In and out. Quick recon, report back to Bruce. But Jason Todd found himself distracted. And it wasn’t the suspicious vans in the alley below or the rival gang’s unusual coordination—it was you.
You were perched beside him on the rooftop’s ledge, crouched with easy balance only honed by years of training. The glow of the Gotham skyline reflected in your eyes as you scanned the street, your face partially hidden behind your black mask. The night was cold, but Jason swore he felt heat radiating off you whenever your shoulder brushed his.
“Red, you’re staring again,” you murmured, not looking away from your binoculars. Your voice was teasing, but there was an edge of curiosity you couldn’t hide.
“Just keeping tabs on my partner,” he grumbled. But even he didn’t believe his own excuse.
You turned your head, smirking as you caught his helmet tilted just slightly in your direction. “That right? Or are you afraid I’ll do all the work and make you look bad?”
He scoffed, leaning back against the rusty rooftop vent, arms crossed over his broad chest. “Please. I’d let you think you’re winning, but my ego’s too fragile.”
You chuckled, the sound soft in the night, and he felt it resonate in his bones. God, he was screwed. He wasn’t supposed to feel like this. Not after everything he’d been through. Not after dying, coming back, and deciding love was a luxury he’d never afford. But you had a way of tearing down every defense he’d ever built.
A low crackle in your comms cut through the moment. “Movement on the west side,” Oracle’s voice filtered through. “Three hostiles unloading crates.”
You nodded, focused again. “Got it. Ready?”
He hesitated. Not because he doubted your skill—you were one of the best he’d ever worked with—but because he hated the thought of you getting hurt. Still, he smothered it. You weren’t a civilian. You were his equal. His partner.
You gave him a quick glance. “Jason?”
He nodded sharply. “Let’s move.”
Together, you descended the fire escape in silent synchronization, landing in the shadows behind a dumpster. The two of you moved like predators through the alley, the moonlight catching on your knives, his twin pistols glinting. He loved the way you worked—fluid, fearless, perfectly complementing his own brutal efficiency.
One of the thugs turned, eyes widening at the sight of Red Hood’s glowing optics. “Shit—”
Jason shot first, the rubberized round dropping the guy before he could raise an alarm. You slipped past him, your blade slashing a gun from another’s hands before kicking him into a stack of crates.
Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, Jason saw movement: a third man, creeping up behind you with a glint of silver in his hand. “(Y/N)!” he bellowed.
Time slowed. He lunged, slamming into you just as the knife arced downward. Pain exploded in his shoulder as steel bit deep, but he ignored it, adrenaline drowning out everything except the feeling of you cradled against him.
The last thug fled into the night, footsteps fading.
“Jay!” you gasped, rolling him onto his back, your hands immediately pressing against his bleeding wound. “Stay with me! Dammit, don’t you dare check out on me now!”
He hissed as you applied pressure, every nerve screaming. But what burned more was the raw terror in your eyes. You were terrified for him. And that fear shattered the last of his resolve.
He reached up, fingers brushing your cheek, smearing blood. “You’re… beautiful,” he rasped, a tremor in his voice. “And I’m so goddamn in love with you.”
Your eyes widened, shining with tears. “Jason…” You hesitated, breath catching, but you didn’t pull away. Instead, your hand cupped his face, thumb brushing his stubble where the helmet didn’t cover.
“I mean it,” he whispered, voice cracking. “I’ve been fighting it for weeks. Months, maybe. But seeing you in danger tonight—I can’t lose you. I won’t.”
Your lips parted, trembling. “Then don’t,” you said fiercely. “Because I’m not going anywhere.”
He let out a strangled laugh, even as blood pooled beneath him. “Good. Because you’re stuck with me now.”
Sirens wailed in the distance. He could already hear the Batmobile roaring toward them. But the world felt small—just you and him, framed by broken bricks and the glow of the Gotham moon.
You helped him sit up carefully, propping him against the dumpster. “You idiot,” you murmured, voice shaking but laced with relief. “You scared the hell out of me.”
He smirked weakly. “Had to make it dramatic. It’s my thing.”
You snorted, wiping a tear from your cheek. “You’re impossible.”
“Yeah,” he rasped, leaning his helmet against your shoulder. “But I’m your impossible.”
Moments later, Batman landed in the alley, cape billowing. He barely spared Jason a glare before moving to check the area. Nightwing dropped down next, eyebrows rising when he saw you cradling Red Hood.
“Need a hand?” Dick asked carefully.
You nodded, but your eyes never left Jason’s. “We’re good,” you whispered to him, voice soft but certain.
“Damn right we are,” Jason murmured, reaching for your hand and gripping it tight. He might’ve been bleeding, broken, and reckless—but in that moment, he felt invincible.
Because he finally knew what he’d been missing all along: you.

sweaty. (choi seungcheol x reader)

“How much do you wanna bet I can do the stairmaster longer than you?”
A teasing eyebrow raise and an accompanying smirk. “You’re joking, right?”
You pretend to contemplate as you re-tie your shoe. Behind you, your boyfriend shifts. You know he’s still looking at you. So you take your sweet time before responding, just to tick him off.
“All you did on Tuesday was cry about how tough the stairmaster is.” You goad him, recalling your last visit to the gym with him. “So I’m pretty sure I can stay on it longer than you can.”
You stand up straight and turn to look at him.
Choi Seungcheol is staring right back, clad in an oversized sweatshirt and loose shorts. You can see a dent in his cheek where he is biting on the inside of it. Oh, you’ve got him. He’s too competitive for his own good. And as soon as you imply in any way that he can’t do something, he immediately feels the need to prove that he can.
You nearly snort. He’s so easy.
“What are the terms?”
“Loser buys dinner.”
“Deal.”
Fifteen minutes later, you are panting like a dog all over the machine, hands clinging to the railing like claws, trying not to keel over and die. Seungcheol is faring better than you, though not by much, but his stubborn streak and ego are pushing him through, and in hindsight you regret making a deal in the first place, knowing how he reacts to a challenge. Dammit. Maybe you are just as competitive as him.
“Listen,” you finally wheeze out. “If we both stop together, we can forget the whole thing.”
Seungcheol barks out a breathless laugh, eyes shining despite how exhausted he looks. His hair clings to his forehead and the back of his neck. “Not a chance!”
You groan loudly, knowing you’ve lost. You can’t do this. Your legs feel like jelly. There’s no way you can keep going. But this also means Seungcheol has won. God, you won’t live this down.
“Fine.” You manage to grit out. “Your win.”
Seungcheol immediately steps off with a whoop, pumping his fist a bit. You collapse on the wooden floor, trying to catch your breath. Sweat rolls down your back, and your body feels like it’s on fire.
A few feet away, Seungcheol pulls his giant sweatshirt over his head, leaving him in a thin tank top. He crumples the cloth and throws it on the bench before sitting down heavily next to it, reaching for his water bottle.
Oh.
He is nearly basting in sweat. The entirety of his shirt clinging to his back and sides. His pale skin shines under the harsh lights of the gym, the dewy glow shifting as his biceps flex. His cheeks are beautifully flushed. He pushes his hair off his forehead, making it stick up a bit as he uses a small towel to wipe his face and the back of his neck. The silver chain he is wearing glints along with his skin. You gulp.
You know your boyfriend is a specimen. You know that. Doesn’t make being around him any easier. The need to constantly jump his bones has been there since before your relationship began, and it seems it has no intention of going away. But here, in the gym where he is often thinly clad, sweating, breathing heavily, grunting as he lifts weights, that need lights a fire under you. And there’s only one person who can put it out.
Good thing he has never been able to say no to you.
With almost renewed energy, you push yourself up on your feet and make a beeline for him. He sets his water bottle down, sending you a teasing smile and wiggling his eyebrows.
“I’m not letting you weasel your way out of this. We’re going all out for dinner.”
You hum, stepping between his parted knees. He instinctively reaching for your hips, runs his hands up the sides of your legs, kneading on them slightly as you brush your fingers over his shoulders.
“We might have to delay dinner a bit, babe. I have other things to do.”
A confused look. “What things?”
“You.”
He lets out a hearty laugh, not at all surprised at your raunchy words. This is nothing new to him. Nearly every gym session ends with both of you on the floor, or against the full length mirror in the room, or in the shower. One of the many benefits of having a gym at home is not worrying at all about anyone interrupting you two in your many steamy activities.
Once your lips meet Seungcheol’s, he hums in approval, craning his neck up to let you feel him easily. His hands travel from your legs to your ass, squeezing before slinking up further under your shirt. Once you push into him more, he stands up, now leaning down to continue nipping and biting at your lips, while also hooking his thumbs into the hem of your shorts and pulling them down along with your panties. This would be rushed. Hard. Short, quick strokes to quell the flame now burning inside you both.
He takes the lead immediately, pushing you into the wall behind him and pressing himself tight into you as he fumbles with his own shorts, just enough to free himself. His knee knocks against the back of your thigh, wedging between it to push your legs apart, and then you feel pressure, his thick cock carving its way into you. Your mouth drops and you moan shamelessly, arching deeper to make more room for him. He groans appreciatively when he bottoms out, hand squeezing hard at your bare hip. Your knees are trembling, but now for a different reason than ten minutes ago.
He doesn’t start slow, hips snapping back and forth quickly. You try to catch your breath, try to keep up with his pace, but it’s almost impossible. It always is with him. But it’s just the way you like it. And you let him know.
“Cheol.” You gasp out, already feeling your core tighten and your brain turn to mush as he presses into your most sensitive spot, one that he is intimately familiar with. “Feels so good.”
“This what you wanted?” He grunts out, voice an octave lower and jolting under the weight of his movements. His right hand slides up, wrapping around your neck and thumbing at your jaw to tilt your head towards him. His lips press into yours with bruising intensity. Inside your gym shoes, you can feel your toes curl.
It’s not long before you are teetering on the brink of orgasm, sobbing and mumbling incoherently while Seungcheol breathes heavily behind you, moaning into your shoulder as he pounds hard into you, and when his fingers meet your desperate, needy clit, it takes only a few harsh rubs to send you over the edge.
You feel him flood your insides with warmth as you tremble your way through your own high, scrambling for purchase against the wall and finding none. Your eyelids feel heavy almost instantly as you come down, your limbs buzzing. You whine as he pulls out, and he shushes you, running a gentle hand over your waist and hips. A soft kiss brushes against your sweaty temple. You sigh in contentment as silence stretches over both of you, Seungcheol’s weight a gentle comfort on your back. Then his words break through the quiet.
“So, about dinner..”
You barely hold back a laugh.

Shelter - 2
Summary: You save Soap's life. Yours continues to go off the rails. Pairing: Simon "Ghost" Riley/F!Reader Warnings For This Chapter: Canon typical violence, panic attack, my continued attempt to write Soap and Ghost's accents, military inaccuracies, more canon divergence, Soft!Simon. MINORS DNI A/N: I truly cannot believe how sweet you guys were about the first chapter. Thank you so much for being so kind! I apologize for the wait. I was almost done with this chapter when I decided I hated it and scrapped all of it and started over. I also finished another draft of my novel! Busy times. This is definitely more of a slow burn romance and I'm thinking it'll be around 10 or so chapters.
Tumblr media
Well, at least you were out of the hospital room. It wasn’t far from the hospital room, but the horrendously beige room down the hall had a television and a few chairs you could sink into and a small kitchen that always seemed to be stocked with snacks in neat boxes on the counter. Were they good snacks? Not really. But you weren’t about to complain when it was a break from the nutrient dense and flavorless food they’d been shoveling down your throat the last handful of days.
Coronation Street was playing on the television as you soaked a plain biscuit in your tea. This was probably a breakroom of some sort, cleared out of anything that you could have possibly used to communicate with the outside world and you were pretty sure the blinking light in the corner was a camera to make sure you weren’t going to do anything ridiculous. Like climb out a window.
No.
You just wanted out of that stupid room with its uncomfortable bed and terrible pillow and beeping machines.
The biscuit crumbled in half when you tried to remove it and you stared at your tea for a stretched moment as the soap opera continued to drone on. Dammit. You shoved the rest of the biscuit into your mouth and then sipped on the tea for a moment before digging out the remnants of the biscuit with your spoon. Not your proudest moment.
You were pulled from your sad cup of tea and entertainment by the door opening and Soap walking in, arm still in his matching sling.
“Why am I hearing about ye not taking yer pain killers?” He asked instead of a greeting. You found that Soap did that. He barged right into things. No slow starts for him. It would be endearing if this were any other situation.
And just like you not saying anything to Ghost about your sister and why she wouldn’t be found in any intel about you, you wouldn’t give Soap a straight answer either. You were not going to take any of those pain killers if you didn’t feel like you needed them. You knew… Well, that didn’t matter right now. “Are they telling you my medical history? I don’t think that’s legal on either side of the pond.”
He frowned. The big Scot frowned and you almost laughed with how it made him look like a puppy. “Don’t ye need it? Ye were shot.”
“I’m aware of that. Trust me.” You turned and grabbed at the sleeve of biscuits, knowing it was a blatant change of topic. “These are awful, by the way.”
Soap snatched them out of your hand and scowled at them. “These are shite. Why’d ye do that to yerself?” He then pivoted and rummaged through the cabinets you weren’t brave enough to open and then set down a pack of shortbreads in a fancy looking tin which he popped open with one hand (you tried not to be jealous about that particular skill). “That’ll be the only thing going near yer tea.”
The shortbread was delicious and you wordlessly made another cup of tea for yourself and a cup of coffee for Soap. You were prouder than you wanted to admit to hear you guessed correctly when you said he looked like he preferred coffee and prouder still when you dug some out of the cabinet and made it just the way he said he liked it as he settled on the lumpy couch beside you to watch the rest of the episode. He knew what was going on better than you and regaled you with the storylines long since finished and convoluted family ties of the characters. It was nice. Soap was…nice.
He had finished his coffee by the time the episode ended and scooped up your mug on his way toward the breakroom’s tiny kitchenette and set them both in the sink. He turned back toward you, bright blue eyes scanning your face for something. He had a casual set to his shoulders, even with the sling, but you knew the look of a smart man trying to pick his words carefully. Soap honestly reminded you, just a little bit, of a guy you went to highschool with, who looked the part of loveable idiot but eventually went to an ivy league school on a football scholarship. He was currently a doctor, knee deep in cancer research, if those annoying alumni emails had any truth to them.
“Just say what you need to say. I’m sure I can handle it.”
The corner of Soap’s mouth twitched like he was trying not to smile. “I wanted to let ye know that yer intel was good.”
You just nodded. That would explain why you hadn’t seen the other three lately. They had been sent to Kastovia. “That mean I can go home?”
Soap sighed and your heart shriveled a bit more. “No, lass. I’m sorry.”
Tumblr media
Someone had left a calendar in the breakroom. You had tried to keep track of the days that had slipped by, but you just wanted to be sure. You counted on your fingers how many days you thought had passed, but the pain killers the first few days after the tunnel had made everything hazy. You worried your bottom lip with the blunt edge of your teeth as you flipped through the next month and dragged your finger down to the day you knew Kirby was due.
Just a few short weeks. That’s all you had. You needed to be there. You needed to be back in time. You’d promised Kirby you would be. You’d never broken a promise to your younger sister and you didn’t want to start now. Those stupid, useless tears stung at your eyes again and blurred the calendar dates. “Fuck.” You wiped at your eyes, trying to keep them from falling before anyone saw, before you felt more useless and trapped than you already did.
Another episode of Coronation Street was playing, a hum at the back of your mind, but it started to mutate and grow until it was a screech. You needed to get to Kirby. They had what they needed from you. You would sign anything they wanted, change your name, dye your hair, live off the grid. But you needed to see Kirby.
You promised.
The door opened easily and you strode out into the hallway. Did you know where you were going? Not really but you just needed to leave. You could figure out the rest later. After all, Kirby always said you landed on your feet. It was time you proved her right. You turned down another hall and yelped when a meaty hand clapped on your uninjured shoulder. You turned, tamping down the urge to throw an elbow and snarled as you realized it was only Soap and his ridiculous blue eyes.
“What’re ye doing?”
“I’m leaving. I have to go.” Your heart thudded painfully as you turned, slipping out from his grip. The edges of your vision started to blur and you hated that you knew what this meant. It had been years since you felt like this—but this situation hadn’t exactly been great for your mental health.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
Each beat of your heart hurt.
“Ye cannae do that, lass. Ye know that.”
“I’m leaving.” You turned again to leave and grunted when he pulled at the back of your shirt. “Let go of me.”
“Lass-”
You turned and tugged your shirt free, letting the snarl curl your mouth as your vision continued to tunnel.
Thud.
Thud.
Thud.
“I’m leaving!”
What happened next was not your finest moment but you’d also been through worse. Soap reached for you again and after you pulled out of his grip once more, he lowered his shoulder and ran at you, hauling you up and over. His arm anchored you down, a weight across your back as his shoulder dug into your stomach. You didn’t even freeze as he turned, presumably to bring you back to the breakroom. Your arm pushed out of its sling and you wrapped your hands around one of his thighs and let his next step help pull you from his grip. Heat lanced across your shoulder as you wiggled against the grip until you yanked your legs free and kicked them above his head and over your own until your heels hit the ground. And then you were throwing yourself forward and dashing down the hallway. Out. You needed to get out. You needed to leave. Every breath burned a little more and-
The tile was cool against your cheek but Soap’s arms were a heavy firebrand as they banded around your waist. “Calm down. Calm down fer me.”
You thrashed against his hold as he stood but he didn’t seem to care and it wasn’t like you were a match to those dumb, hulking muscles. But still, your memory was hazy as he dragged you back to the breakroom and shoved a shortbread into your hand.
“Now, I’ll talk to someone. But ye cannae do that. Ye understand?”
Tumblr media
By the time Simon arrived back on home soil, they’d moved her and Soap to a different part of the base. A hall of barracks that had been recently constructed but not yet assigned to a different squadron had been a good place to hide away their injured sergeant and American informant. Laswell had informed Price of the move and then sent along a video in lieu of an explanation.
Simon wasn’t entirely sure how many times he watched her claw and wiggle her way out of Johnny’s grip but Price did eventually take the phone away from him. (But not before Simon sent himself a copy.) She was wily. Strong. Stubborn.
Even when she had tears smeared across her face.
It was easy for Simon to claim one of the rooms as his own—it had always been better for Simon to be on base anyway. His flat in Manchester never felt like home. Just an expensive place to rest his head when he was ordered to take his mandated leave. Knowing the others were down the hall was more comfortable than any sort of high priced pillow anyway.
The mission had been successful. And a shitshow. The second, and larger, cache of gas in Kastovia had been exactly where her intel had said it would be in a barren steel plant. But the handful of missiles had been an unexpected find. As had the small militia that awaited them. While they had been easily dealt with, one of them managed to set off what Simon could only describe as a failsafe to take out the entire plant and the surrounding area. The gas dissipated quickly but not before it had caused extensive damage. Makarov wanted them dead. And he wanted her dead, too, if the picture one of his men had pinned up beside a map of different caches and routes to take over borders was any indication. It was upside down and some artist had taken it upon themselves to scratch out her eyes and draw an obvious axe buried in her neck. Charming. There were a few smaller pictures beside it but he didn’t get a clear look at them.
The explosion meant they didn’t have more than the one picture Gaz took of the map and Simon’s lungs burned a bit every time he took a breath. Nik had been quick in the exfil but still cut it close. Too close. And it grated on his every nerve that Makarov hadn’t been there. Still in the wind.
Simon had been told to visit the medbay before going to bed—Laswell was supposed to be arriving tomorrow for a debrief—but he thought that was more of a suggestion than an order. He’d dropped his bag on the floor and rinsed off before lumbering into the small bed, letting the standard-issue sheets scratch at his skin. It felt like coming home. And he watched the video again, feeling a strange smile push at his mouth.
He could bother Johnny about her ability to get away from him in the morning.
Tumblr media
The doctor whose name you couldn’t be bothered to remember told you to start physical therapy. And, just your luck, Soap had been told to do the same. If he was wary of you because of your outburst, he didn’t show it at all. He would smile at you, eyes crinkling, over his coffee whenever you opened your door at the crack of dawn. A tea would be in his other hands and ready for you. It was a nice routine as more days continued to slip by.
You’d stretch and grumble about the slowly fading pain in your shoulder and Soap would do the same. At least you didn’t need to use the sling anymore. But this was, pathetically, probably the closest you’d had to a friend. He’d talk and talk and talk. About his mom and sisters up in a small town outside Glasgow. About the dog he had as a kid—“Boots was the best dog a boy could have, lass, lemme tell ye.” About anything that seemed to pop into his head as the sun would intermittently peek out from behind the low hanging clouds to splash warmth across the dead grass beneath your sneakers. You counted it as a win that they let you outside. It was behind a fence with razor wire at the top, but a win is a win. Mostly. Maybe they were seeing if they could actually trust you outside those beige walls.
You’d swallow nails if it meant you could be at Kirby’s side when she needed you.
One of the more ridiculous exercises the doctor had you and Soap do was passing a yoga ball between one another—of course, you had to move your arms a certain way to get the right stretch or whatever, but it all felt a little silly, even with the twinge growing more pronounced with each pass. Hands on top and on bottom, twist so they’re on the side, hand to Soap. He’d repeat.
“This feels very stupid.”
“Aye. But they’re watchin’ so we’d best play nice.”
The yoga ball nearly slipped from your suddenly-slick fingers. “What do you mean?” You’d heard a bit of thudding from the empty room next to yours last night but thought it was a faulty air unit. Was there someone else here?
“They got back last night. Give ‘em a chance to settle before they say hello, aye?” Soap’s blue eyes sparked with mirth and you might have shoved the ball back at him a little harder than necessary. He just laughed at you.
You chanced a glance at the rectangular windows cut into the metal building, close to the sharp edge of the roof. He was probably just being funny, but now you couldn’t fight the feeling of someone watching you. And why did your mind conjure Ghost’s ridiculous mask?
He hadn’t said much after you had told him you weren’t going to pour your heart out to him. But he’d continued to stare until he and the others left for Kastovia without a word. One guy who’d found you “mysterious” while you were in undergrad thought that he could figure you out and stared, too. Thought that his attempt at a psychology degree would unravel all…well, all of you. He gave up after a couple of months. Ghost didn’t seem the type to give up. But that still didn’t mean that you were going to tell him anything.
You threw another glance toward the window and the yoga ball hit you in the face.
Tumblr media
Simon stared down at the inhaler. This was stupid. The doc had hurriedly explained that being exposed to the gas during the explosion had done a number on Simon’s lungs. At least he wasn’t Price who’d hit his head on his way out and was told he’d had a concussion and also needed the inhaler. Gaz had been the only one who’d managed to get out mostly unscathed aside from needing a butterfly bandage for a cut over his eye.
His next breath burned and Simon finally shook the damn scrap of plastic and took a puff just as he heard the back door open. He stood and watched Johnny and the woman trudge out into the dead grass, carrying a few bits of equipment, including a yoga ball, craning his head just enough to see them through the high window. And well, if he stood on the small desk chair to watch, who would know?
He couldn’t hear them but he watched her throw a few glances toward the window. And then Johnny hit her in the face with the yoga ball. She promptly slingshotted one of the resistance bands at his head in retaliation.
“Heh.”
The debrief later that morning with Laswell had gone as expected: More intel was good. Makarov not being spotted was bad. They needed time to heal. Farah and Alex would investigate possible gas caches just within Urzikstan’s borders.
The picture Gaz managed to grab was helpful and did verify a majority of the intel they had already. But it did mean that Makarov’s network was larger than they had ever thought. One of Laswell’s contacts had enhanced the slightly blurry picture and Simon recognized each of the 141’s faces, pinned to the board, too. They were targets just as much as she was. Small bits of paper stemmed from Price, Soap, and Kyle’s pictures and Simon knew what they represented even without the fancy tech trying to make it clearer. They were hunting for weak spots. Family. Friends.
They needed to leave. Keep low. Hide. Simon hated it. He hated that the others had families on the line and he could do nothing but take a few puffs of his stupid inhaler and wait. These were men who’d become his brothers-in-arms and their families were at risk. He knew what it was like to lose.
Price’s hacking cough basically ended the debrief and Laswell said she needed to make some calls, disappearing to another part of the base and Price griped as Kyle urged him to go back to medical. Johnny said he was going to start packing.
Simon walked away as Price continued to grumble and walked down the small hallway toward the bunk rooms and–
BANG.
Simon paused just for a moment, straining his ears as he pushed further down the hallway. With how the mission had gone, he couldn’t rule out that someone had attempted to get onto base and finish the job the gas couldn’t. There were security gates and checkpoints, of course. The high fences. And this part of the base was underdeveloped for now. But having a traitor in the midst wasn’t something Simon could write off.
“Fuck,” came an annoyed voice.
The tension slipped from his shoulders as he pushed open the nearest door.
Sitting in a chair in front of the mirror atop the tiny dresser, she was picking at her stitches with a pair of needle nose pliers. A small pile of the twists sat atop the dresser—apparently she’d been at this for a while. Simon walked in, watching as she leaned closer to the mirror, trying to see the stitches across her shoulder better as she plucked at them. She’d jammed her tongue between her teeth and the strap of her thin top had been tugged down. A book, probably pilfered from the breakroom, was open beside her.
(Simon stared. Just for a little.)
The pliers fell from her hands and bounced off the dresser before hitting the floor. That had been the sound he’d heard.
“Need a ‘and?”
She let out what he could only describe as a squeak as she turned toward him, hurling the book at his head as the pliers slipped from her other hand. He caught it without letting loose the laugh he felt growing.
“Jesus Christ! How long have you been standing there? Don’t you knock?”
“Heard something. Thought something bad ‘appened.” Not a lie. He tossed the book onto the bed. He watched her mouth curl at the edges and Simon wasn’t sure if she was going to yell at him or laugh.
“Right.” She stared at him for a little longer before bending down to grab the pliers again. She settled in front of the mirror again and stared at the remaining stitches. At least the ones she could see. Simon had a clear view of the mess of stitches on her back. She’d never reach those.
She stared back at him in the mirror. The grip she had on the pliers was tight and grew tighter when he stepped closer. But he still easily pulled the tool from her hand and then reached down to turn her chair around to face him.
“What’re you doing?” She asked as he started to untwist the next stitch.
“Helping.”
“I didn’t ask you to do that.”
“Doin’ it anyway.”
Tumblr media
Well, fuck.
You could do very little except stare at Ghost as he undid each of the stitches. You weren’t stupid enough to tell him to fuck off. What he was doing was nice. You couldn’t deny that but why the hell was he doing it? He was even bigger from this angle as he loomed over you. But he was being gentle with you, so gentle. And silent. Maybe it would be better if he talked to you through it all or said anything at all, but he was…quiet.
And so were you.
Until the door opened again and Gaz came in, gun drawn. You had pivoted back toward the door, only for a moment before Ghost let out a short, sharp breath from behind his mask and nudged you back into position. You still managed to see Gaz holster his weapon with a smile on his face, perfect teeth glinting in the low light. “All good here, LT?”
He grunted but didn’t turn to look at his teammate. You chanced a look up at Ghost to see him still singularly focused on your stitches. His dark eyes didn’t stray from them even though you were sure he could feel you looking at him.
By the time he reached down to turn your chair again, letting him start on your back, you found yourself liking how quiet he was. Small talk had never been your forte and you surmised that it wasn’t high on Ghost’s list of skills either.
When his thumb pressed into your spine, covered by the harsh fabric of his gloves, you tried not to shiver as you let him move you so he could see the stitches better. And he removed those, too.
It was when his finger trailed against the new scar on your back, barely a whisper of a touch, that you couldn’t stop it. God, you really were pathetic. When he moved the strap of your shirt back up your shoulder, you managed to bite the next one back. “Thanks,” you said, the word uneven and warbled. “You going to help Soap take out his, too?” You weren’t sure if you were being sarcastic or not.
The way Ghost tilted his head made you think he wasn’t sure, either. “Cap did ‘is already. Looks like shit.”
And you laughed.
Tumblr media
The nondescript SUV rocked slightly side to side as it tore down the road. Gaz seemed hellbent on getting wherever you were headed quickly. There had been some good-natured ribbing about not letting Ghost drive. They seemed to like each other, a good camaraderie between them that seemed as easy as breathing. But you guessed that would probably happen in their line of work. Defying death together usually did that. Price, however, did seem at least a little put out about not being the driver.
And you were stuck at the back of the SUV, listening to them talk amongst each other. To his credit, Soap and Gaz both tried to involve you in the conversation. They would ask what you had been doing in London, if you’d ever been outside the city, if your shoulder was giving you trouble. It was nice.
They were still nice.
You didn’t really understand why they were trying so hard but you weren’t about to ask. Especially not now when you had a black bag over your head. They didn’t really trust you but it had been a weird kindness when you’d felt Ghost buckle you in and place a light blanket over your lap before you’d departed. It was probably a silent order to go the fuck to sleep seeing as you hadn’t been sleeping well since you’d hastily weened yourself off the most intense pain killers. It didn’t help that you’d been shuffled outside right after midnight and told to get in the back of the vehicle without much fanfare. And you knew better than to argue.
You had a bag over your head and were heading to an unknown destination. The power dynamics didn’t exactly scream trustworthy. They kept you alive, that was true. But they didn’t trust you. Funny.
You leaned your head back against the seat and sighed, the fabric rustled against your mouth. It was a strange feeling. Weirdly comforting, like when you’d push your face into the pillow and scream when you were a child, desperate for an outlet.
“I can see why you like the mask,” you muttered.
“Whot?”
Hm. You said that out loud. Well, too late to take it back now. “I said I see why you like the mask.”
“She’s bloody insane,” Gaz whispered. But you liked to think he was smiling while he said it.
“Maybe Ghost’ll lend ye one of his? Ye two could match.”
There was an answering smack and “och, what was that for, LT?” before the blanket was adjusted over your lap.
“Go to sleep.”
You smiled beneath the bag. And, knowing you had nothing better to do…you went to sleep with Ghost’s low rumbling echoing in your ears.

The insistent rapping at my bathroom door nearly sent me into cardiac arrest. I’m pretty sure I levitated a good inch off the shower floor, clutching my soapy chest like I was auditioning for a dramatic opera.
I wrestled the tap to submission, silencing the watery cascade that threatened to drown out any potential sounds from the other side. My heart hammered against my ribs, performing a frantic drum solo. Was it a burglar? Xavier? Or worse...A wanderer?
I shook off the last thought immediately because then my hunter watch would have alerted me of any energy fluctuations.
Then, a voice, blessedly familiar, cut through the humid air, punctuated by another, slightly less aggressive, knock.
“Pipsqueak?”
A sigh, the kind that deflates a hot air balloon, escaped my lips. It was just Caleb. Only Caleb. As if "only Caleb" wasn't a phrase loaded with enough emotional baggage to sink the Titanic.
My childhood best friend, my confidante, my ride or die companion… and, of course, the unsuspecting subject of my deeply buried, highly inconvenient, and perpetually unrequited crush.
He, bless his oblivious heart, had no clue about the butterflies that staged a chaotic flash mob in my stomach every time he was near.
Lately, he’d become a major distraction. Calculus? Forget it. Literary analysis? Nope. All brainpower was currently dedicated to decoding Caleb’s every move, searching for hidden meanings where there were probably none.
“Caleb! Don’t scare me like that!” I yelled, trying to inject a healthy dose of irritation into my tone. “I’m showering!”
Even through the thick wooden door, I could hear the low rumble of his chuckle. It was a sound that usually sent a pleasant shiver down my spine, but right now, it was just adding to the general chaos in my nervous system.
“Sorry. Just wanted to know if you’re alive. I arrived like five minutes ago and no one answered the door.”
“You didn’t announce your arrival, so I didn’t know you were coming. It’s not my fault you had to wait,” I grumbled, knowing full well that I was being completely unreasonable. I probably should have left a note warning people I may be taking a shower.
And since I gave him my spare key, it wasn’t surprising to let him visit me unexpectedly.
“Yeah, yeah, I know. Finish your shower and then come out. I’ll cook something in the meantime,” he said, and before I could shout my specific culinary desires (specifically, anything involving copious amounts of chocolate), his footsteps faded away in the direction of my kitchen. Dammit.
He always managed to preempt my sugary cravings.
Once I was fully de-grimed, a miniature steam engine puffing away, I vigorously toweled myself dry, wrapped myself in my comfiest, oversized loungewear (strategically chosen for maximum cuddle-ability), and ran a comb through my sopping hair.
No time for a hairdryer. I had a much better, and infinitely more attractive, alternative in mind.
Caleb.
He always dried my hair. It was a weird tradition we’d started years ago, involving gentle towel-drying, a scalp massage that bordered on the divine, and a level of comfortable intimacy that simultaneously filled me with bliss and existential dread.
And since he was here, in my apartment, radiating pure "boyfriend" vibes, I was going to exploit the situation to its fullest potential.
With a towel turban perched precariously on my head, I ventured into the kitchen, which now smelled like a symphony of deliciousness – herbs, spices, and something vaguely reminiscent of culinary magic.
A tall figure, all broad shoulders in a casual outfit of dark jeans, white T-shirt with some dark abstract art on it and a dark jacket on top, he was focused concentration, standing at the counter, expertly wielding a knife as he diced vegetables with the precision of a brain surgeon.
Hearing my hesitant footsteps, his head lifted, and that intense, almost intimidating, gaze softened the moment he saw me.
“Look at you. All cute and soft. Couldn’t you dry your hair before coming to see me? I know you missed me, but you’ll catch a cold that way,” he scolded gently, his lips twitching with amusement.
He always called me "cute and soft." Like I was some sort of fluffy bunny or a particularly appealing marshmallow.
I pouted, because pouting was apparently my default mode when dealing with Caleb, and padded closer to him. Once I was right behind him, practically glued to his back, I leaned over his shoulder, inhaling his woodsy scent, and peered at the cutting board. “What are you making for me?”
He chuckled, a deep, resonant sound that vibrated through me. He tossed the knife aside and pointed to the cutting board, revealing a colorful medley of carrots, celery, and some apple slices already neatly cut into bite-sized pieces. He then grabbed a towel, meticulously dried his hands, and turned around. Before I could even think about taking a step back, he closed the distance between us, wrapped his arms around me, and pulled me close.
My heart decided to take up competitive speed racing. It was currently vying for first place in the “world’s fastest palpitations” category.
He hugged me tightly to his chest, burying his nose in my shoulder, almost like he was desperately trying to inhale my scent. It was a gesture that was simultaneously comforting and utterly, earth-shatteringly, devastatingly romantic.
“Caleb, what are you…” I started to ask, my voice a breathless whisper.
“I missed you. I haven’t seen you in a whole month! Let me have this,” he breathed, his words sending a wave of heat through me.
My heart gave up on the racing and decided to launch itself straight out of my chest. Slowly, tentatively, I hugged him back, my hands creeping up around his neck, my fingers tangling in the soft strands of his hair.
“You’re being silly. It’s not like I’m gone. You have your duties in Skyhaven as a colonel, so don’t blame me if you have no time for me,” I pouted again, because apparently, I was now a professional pouter.
His hold on me tightened, and he let out a deep sigh that tickled my ear. “I always have time for you, but wanderers up there are causing more trouble, killing innocent people. I had to deal with them before I come visit you. So… did you miss me too?”
There was a soft hesitation in his last words; a vulnerability that made my heart clench painfully.
“Of course, I did.” The words were out before I could even think about editing them for maximum subtlety.
“You finally said it. Don’t regret it now.” There was a playful warning in his tone.
I smiled. Never.
Once we were separated, he looked at my hair with a knowing glint in his eyes. “Do you need me to do your hair, like always?”
I sheepishly smiled, feeling my cheeks flush with warmth. “I wouldn’t mind.”
He chuckled, the sound rumbling through his chest and sending delightful shivers down my spine. “You really like to use me like a hairdresser,” he teased, grabbing my wrist and gently tugging me along.
He led me out of the kitchen and towards the living room.
After I sat on the couch, he patiently went to the bathroom to retrieve the hairdryer and then came back into the living room, wielding it like a weapon of mass seduction.
Sitting down beside me, he patted the spot between his outstretched legs, motioning towards the floor and looked up at me expectantly.
I raised an eyebrow. “There?”
“It’ll be easier that way. So don’t stall; sit,” he ordered, his voice laced with that authoritative "Colonel" tone that always made me weak in the knees. It was also the voice that could launch a thousand ships, or at the very least, convince me to perch uncomfortably on the floor.
Well, fine. If I had to sit between Caleb's legs, so be it. It was a sacrifice I was willing to make.
Grumbling, I grabbed a throw pillow for cushioning, plopping down with as much grace as a disgruntled cat. His thighs immediately radiated warmth against my sides as he leaned forward. Apparently, it was hair-drying time, and my wet locks were the enemy. He relieved me of the towel with startling efficiency.
“You’re ordering me around like I’m a fleet officer under your command,” I complained.
Honestly, the nerve of the man!
A sharp tug on my hair, delivered with playful force, snapped my head back. Upside down, I met his gaze, those mesmerizing turquoise eyes swirling with shades of purple. It was a look I couldn't quite decipher – a mix of amusement, exasperation, and something…else.
He leaned down, our breaths mingling like mischievous conspirators. “If you were a fleet officer,” he said, his voice a low rumble, “You couldn’t be this close to me.” A pause, and then, “I never offer to dry anyone’s hair like this, so give me some credit, won’t you?”
My breath hitched. I tried to formulate a witty retort, but my brain seemed to have taken a vacation. All coherent thought vanished when his hand slid down my throat, tilting my chin upward, his fingers gently grabbing my jaw.
“Did I make myself clear? You’re the only one who has this privilege,” he stated, his gaze intense.
My eyes fluttered closed as his free hand tangled in my hair, his fingertips making soothing circles on my scalp.
"Not fair," I whispered, leaning back until my head rested against his chest. The solid thump of his heartbeat was surprisingly comforting.
He kissed the crown of my head. "Nothing is fair when it comes to you," he murmured.
And just like that, the moment was over. He pulled away and, as if nothing had happened, began to comb my hair. The hot air from the dryer blasted strands in every direction, a chaotic ballet of frizz. I must have drifted off for a moment, because the next thing I knew, something was gently tapping my head.
I realized, with a jolt, that my cheek was resting against his thigh. Oh, the indignity!
“Did you fall asleep, princess?” His voice was soft, quiet, but laced with warmth and amusement. “I need to comb your hair, but I can’t do that if you use my leg as a pillow.”
He gently stroked my hair, and I resisted the urge to purr. Sleeping on Caleb's leg was infinitely better than being awake without Caleb's leg to sleep on.
“But it feels so nice,” I protested, my voice muffled against his jeans. My argument was compelling, I thought.
“I’m sure it does, but we’ll never get this done if you don’t lift your head,” he chuckled. It was a low, rumbling sound that vibrated right through me.
With a monumental effort, fueled by sheer stubbornness, I managed to lift my head. Only to have it drop back against his chest a microsecond later.
His fingers brushed my cheek. His voice, close to my face, was a delicious torture. “I’m happy to be your pillow, but you’ll fall asleep again soon. I’ll have to stop this five-star service then,” he warned.
My eyes snapped open. The thought of losing this…this experience was unbearable.
“No, please! Five more minutes, and then you’re free,” I pleaded, flashing him my most convincing puppy-dog eyes.
He shut his eyes and groaned. It was a sound of beautiful, glorious defeat. “You’re so lucky that I love you,” he admitted, his voice laced with exasperation and, dare I say, something more?
Before I could even process his words, he resumed combing my hair, adding in a scalp massage for good measure. The feeling was so gloriously, exquisitely good that a soft moan escaped my lips. I hadn't meant to make noise, but I was relaxed and it left my mouth before I could stop it.
Caleb stopped. I heard him exhale sharply, as if he were in pain, but he kept going anyway, his fingers working magic.
“What will your future boyfriend say if you keep asking me to do these things for you, huh? I’m sure he won’t be happy how much you love this,” he joked, but there was a definite edge to his voice. Interesting. Time for a little playful prodding, just to see how he’d react.
“That’s easy. You’ll be my boyfriend then,” I said casually, trying to sound completely nonchalant. Inside, however, my stomach was doing acrobatic flips of anxiety and, perhaps, a touch of hopeful anticipation.
His fingers stilled in my hair. His breath hitched for a fraction of a second, but he quickly composed himself. With his fingers, he tipped my head back to look him in the eyes.
“Don’t play games with me, princess. I take those jokes very seriously,” he warned. And then he did something I definitely wasn’t expecting, something that sent a jolt of electricity through my entire system.
He grazed his thumb across my lips, tracing their shape with excruciatingly slow precision. “If you start…” His voice was a husky whisper. “I’ll only bite back.”
My lips parted, and my tongue, traitorously, darted out to lick his thumb. I breathed heavily with each brush, each look, each gesture.
His eyes glinted, a dark fire igniting within them as he refocused on me. “You’re giving me strange ideas tonight, and I’m afraid you’ll regret it later.”
I shook my head. He was the one giving me strange ideas tonight, sending signals that were far from subtle. I’d never really thought he’d be like this, so forward, but somehow his gaze felt…familiar. He’d been looking at me with such intensity ever since he came back from the dead.
He’d been presumed dead, killed in explosion and then months later he was back. Like a stranger, he was different but still Caleb.
Those buried feelings had resurfaced from the moment we reunited, and I realized I could read him easier now. He wanted something more, and I could finally see it, openly, brazenly.
“What about you? Will you regret it?” I challenged, throwing down the gauntlet.
It was like flipping a switch.
One moment I was kneeling on the floor, the next I was sprawled on the couch, pinned beneath him. His face was feral, his eyes burning with an intensity that both thrilled and frightened me.
“What are you doing, pipsqueak? Are you trying to see me snap?” he growled, his voice tight with barely suppressed emotion.
I shuddered, a delicious shiver that ran all the way to my toes. “No. Just wanted to tell you the truth. I have no need for a boyfriend if I already have one,” I flashed a teasing smile. “You basically treat me like a princess all the time. We just didn’t put a label on it.”
He was silent for a long moment, his gaze searching mine. Then, he laughed.
An ominous feeling washed over me as those gorgeous lips curled into a dangerous smirk.
“A boyfriend, you say?” He laughed again as his eyes wandered down my body, igniting a wildfire within me. “Then, I guess, I have the privilege to do this, right?”
I frowned, suddenly uneasy. “What do you–”
My gasp cut off my words as he lifted my oversized nightshirt, his hot fingers skimming across my stomach, dangerously inching closer to my bare breast.
It was a strategic maneuver, designed to deprive me of oxygen and coherent thought. It was working. My brain was currently operating on a combination of adrenaline, panic, and a deep, undeniable longing that I was trying very hard to ignore.
"Caleb," I breathed, my voice barely audible. "What are you doing?"
His eyes met mine, and the intensity was back, stronger than ever. "Claiming what's mine, pipsqueak. And maybe proving a point or two along the way."
Before I could formulate a response, before I could decide whether I wanted to run screaming for the hills or surrender to the inevitable, he lowered his head, his lips brushing against my ear. "Consider this your official boyfriend initiation."
His other fist tightened around a lock of my hair, pulling gently as he inhaled deeply, like preparing for a battle. Then, Caleb claimed my mouth.
My blood pressure seemed to stall, alongside my breathing, as his lips met mine. All thought dissolved like smoke, replaced by the overwhelming sensation of his mouth parting mine, his tongue exploring with a hesitant boldness. The kiss was a chaotic blend of pain, longing, jealousy, and raw, barely-contained rage. It felt like he’d been hoarding these desires for me for a lifetime.
I was utterly immobilized, pinned beneath him, my wrists trapped above my head. All I could do was receive the onslaught of him. His taste, like crisp, slightly tart apples, flooded my senses, leaving me dizzy.
I'd always fantasized about this, but never truly believed it could happen. We were practically family, raised under the same roof. If Granny knew, rest her soul, she'd be utterly scandalized. Even I couldn't quite grasp the reality of this moment.
"Fuck," he breathed, finally breaking the kiss, dragging his mouth away after a long, heated moment.
He stared down at me, his eyes almost crazed with a possessiveness I’d desperately tried to ignore for months, but it was undeniably there. It was as if he'd been waiting his entire life for this. To be honest, I was feeling the same.
His hand moved to the curve of my jaw, his thumb tracing the outline of my swollen, red-kissed lips. "Do you regret it now?" His voice was gruff, almost rough.
I pulled a shaky breath and shook my head. "No."
He locked his gaze on mine, his eyes burning with an intensity that made my skin prickle. The longer he watched me, the faster I flushed, suddenly feeling exposed and vulnerable under his scrutinizing attention.
When the silence stretched, an unfamiliar anger flared within me. I strained against his hold, trying to push him away. "What are you doing?" I struggled to regain control, using anger as a shield against the raw vulnerability I felt. Was he playing some kind of game? Was this a test?
He tilted his head, unfazed by my resistance, still firmly pinning me down. A slow, knowing smile tugged at the corner of his lips. "What am I doing? I'm trying to read you."
"What do you mean?"
He leaned down, his fingers tightening on my jaw, his breath hot against my lips. "Are you not resisting because you want me, or because you have no choice but to obey since I forced myself on you?"
I furrowed my eyebrows, confused and hurt. "You're not making sense. Why would I just obey you? Do you think I'm that easy to control?" I hissed, leaning forward, his lips ghosting against mine.
I felt him grin, his hold on my jaw tightening just slightly. "So…are you saying you like me?"
I swallowed, the question suddenly thick in the air. "And what if I do?"
His eyes darkened, his breath quickening. "Since when?"
I averted my eyes, a wave of shame washing over me. But he wouldn't allow me to retreat, tapping my cheek with his thumb, growling softly. "Eyes only on me."
I met his gaze, the honesty of the moment demanding it. "Well…always," I admitted, the word hanging in the air between us.
He clenched his jaw, mulling over my confession, his gaze drifting somewhere above my head as he struggled to compose himself. His breathing deepened, steadying. When he regained control, he locked his gaze on mine once more.
"Always? Even when you received love letters from other guys? When you pretended you wanted to go on dates with them too?" He spat, the words laced with jealousy and anger, but I didn't flinch.
"What about you? You've always been the popular one. What about all those gifts and love letters you always piled up in your room? There was plenty of proof that you had your share of secret admirers," I countered, my own anger rising to meet his.
His jaw ticked. "Yes, but it doesn't mean I dated any of them. I accepted those gifts because they were snacks, and you love snacks. That's why I didn't reject them. I gave them to you. And those love letters? I didn't even read them. I always threw them away, but the mail was always overflowing. Maybe I missed some," he reminded me. "And I promised you that I wouldn't get a girlfriend as long as I had you by my side. I didn't lie to you."
“I never seriously considered the other boys too, never wanted to go on dates with them, Caleb. I just…needed you to see me as a woman. Not just a kid who needs protection all the time,” I confessed.
My heart had always belonged to Caleb, and since he never revealed or even hinted at his feelings, I'd resorted to trying to make him jealous.
Caleb simply stared at me, then let out a short, disbelieving chuckle, covering his mouth with his hand. "You succeeded then. I wanted to kill every single person who even looked at you that way."
"Caleb…"
"No, let me finish," he interrupted.
He shifted, his weight still pinning me, but his grip loosening slightly. "I was a coward, I admit it. Afraid of ruining what we had, afraid of rejection. Years we wasted, playing stupid games, both of us too stubborn to admit the truth." He looked down at me, his expression softening. "So, pipsqueak, let's get this straight. You're mine. Always have been, always will be. And I'm yours, whether you like it or not."
He paused, searching my eyes. "But... I shouldn't have forced that kiss on you. I let my jealousy and frustration get the better of me. I wanted you so badly that it clouded my judgment. I'm sorry." His apology was gruff, but sincere.
I swallowed, the fight draining out of me.
"It...it's okay," I managed, even though a part of me still felt a little shaken. "But no more forcing. And no more games."
He nodded, a flicker of a smile reaching his eyes. "Agreed. No more games." He leaned down, his forehead resting against mine. "So, where do we go from here?"
I took a shaky breath, the reality of the situation finally sinking in. Caleb, the boy I'd secretly loved forever, my closest friend, actually felt the same way. It was terrifying and exhilarating all at once.
"I...I don't know," I admitted. "We've been living in the same house as practically family for years. This is going to be complicated."
"Complicated is an understatement," he chuckled softly. "But worth it, right?" He lifted his head, looking at me expectantly.
I met his gaze, and this time, the intensity didn't feel threatening. It felt...right. "Worth it," I confirmed, a small smile spreading across my own lips.
"Good." He moved, finally releasing my wrists and shifting his weight off me. He didn't stand, though, remaining close, kneeling beside me.
He reached out, gently tucking a strand of hair behind my ear,” So, official boyfriend initiation round two?" he asked, his voice a low murmur. "This time, with consent?"
I laughed softly, the tension finally easing. "Maybe. But you're going to have to work for it."
He grinned, a genuine, mischievous smile that made my heart skip a beat. "Oh, I intend to." He leaned in closer, his lips hovering just above mine. "Consider this my official courting process, pipsqueak."
His kiss was a brand, searing into my soul, and this time, I met it head-on. The raw power emanating from him, coupled with the intoxicating scent that clung to his skin, spun me into a dizzying vortex of pure, unadulterated lust. His right arm, a relentless band of steel beneath a deceptive layer of flesh, snaked its way up my body, a possessive claim against my skin. The fabric of my shirt became an unbearable barrier, a tormenting tease in the face of such primal need. And then, he was there, his quest fulfilled. His hand, long and slender, yet possessing an undeniable strength, cupped my bare breast. His fingers kneaded, squeezed with a confident possessiveness that stole my breath, my gasp swallowed by his hungry mouth.
He broke away, and the sight that greeted me was like staring into the heart of a storm. His eyes, pools of liquid darkness, almost swallowed the amethyst depths within. A flush crawled across his cheekbones, a testament to the fire raging within him, mirroring the inferno consuming me. I struggled to draw a breath, my lungs starved for air, yet desperate to be filled with him.
His gaze raked over me, possessive and intense. He seemed drunk on the sight of me, pliant, willing, utterly and completely beneath his control. The yearning that burned in those dark eyes sent my heart into a frenzied rhythm, a frantic drumbeat against my ribs.
“You don’t know how long I’ve been waiting for this,” he murmured, his voice a low, gravelly rasp that vibrated against my skin. He leaned closer, his lips tracing a slow, deliberate path from my jawline to my temple, each touch a spark igniting a thousand desires. He inhaled deeply, stealing my scent as if it were the most precious thing in the world. “Are you mine?”
I could only nod, words failing me, lost in the overwhelming tide of sensation. His touch on my waist, beneath the hem of my shirt, sent shivers dancing across my skin. The cool, smooth surface of his mechanical arm, perfectly disguised as flesh, was a stark contrast to the heat he ignited within me.
“Say the words, princess,” he pleaded, his voice thick with a desperate longing that resonated deep within my soul. He buried his face in my hair, his breath warm against my ear, inhaling my scent as if trying to imprint me onto his very being.
“I’m yours, Caleb,” I whispered, the words a fragile offering, yet charged with a truth that grew stronger with each passing moment. Being with him had etched those words into my core.
He exhaled sharply, a sound that spoke of relief, of triumph, of a desperate need fulfilled. “God. She’s mine,” he breathed, the words a possessive mantra that sent a painful tug through my heart. It was as if he needed to hear it aloud, to confirm the reality of the moment, to assure himself that I, completely and irrevocably, belonged to him, and that this wasn't a figment of his desire.
His left arm, the one of flesh and blood, reached for me, his touch tentative at first, then growing bolder, more demanding. His fingers traced the delicate curve of my jaw, the sensitive skin of my neck, each caress a deliberate exploration, a slow, tantalizing torture.
I shivered, a delicious tremor that betrayed the depth of my longing. He knew me so well, knew exactly where to touch, how to tease, how to unravel me with a single glance. He held the keys to my desires, and he wielded them with a masterful precision.
The living room, usually a sanctuary of soft colors and comforting textures, was transformed into a battleground of desires, a space charged with unspoken longing. The air crackled with an energy that threatened to consume us both.
I arched against him, my fingers digging into his back, my nails tracing patterns on his clothed spine. I craved the feel of his skin against mine, the raw intensity of his touch, the unyielding heat of his body pressed against mine.
I wanted him, needed him, craved the feeling of his weight, the sensation of being crushed beneath his power, consumed by his presence. I wanted to lose myself in him, to surrender completely to the burning hunger that gnawed at my insides.
He obliged, pressing me deeper into the cushions, his body a hard, unyielding force against my softer curves. I gasped, the air catching in my throat as he shifted, settling his weight more fully against me.
“Do you want me, baby?” He rasped, his voice rough with barely contained desire. His fingers tightened on my hips, a possessive squeeze that sent a jolt of electricity through my veins.
“Yes,” I didn’t hesitate, the word torn from my lips, an honest declaration of the yearning consuming me.
“I’m glad you came back to me. Whether by accident or fate, you’re still here with me,” he murmured, his voice laced with a vulnerability that pierced my heart. He closed his eyes, his forehead pressed against mine, savoring our close proximity.
The words hit me deep, a wave of emotion washing over me. His longing was so raw, so palpable, that tears welled in my eyes. It felt like a wound, a deep, unhealed ache in his heart, and in that moment, I felt it too.
His love was a suffocating blanket, a weight I wasn't sure I could bear. Looking into his eyes, now filled with concern, the reflection of my own tears mirrored back at me, the truth of his feelings slammed into me with the force of a physical blow.
"Why… why are you crying?" he asked, his voice laced with a tenderness that only amplified the ache in my chest.
I couldn't articulate the whirlwind of emotions tearing me apart. The grief of a potential future stolen, the realization of a love I had been blind to, the sheer, overwhelming relief of him being here, alive, in my arms. All I could do was cling to him, burying my face in the crook of his neck, the sobs wracking my body. The thought of a world without him, a world where I never knew the depth of his feelings, was unbearable.
His arms tightened around me, a comforting, possessive hold. His hand found its way to my hair, stroking it in a soothing rhythm as we lay entwined on the couch.
"Princess…" he whispered, his voice thick with emotion, almost a question. He seemed to be searching for the right words, lost in the labyrinth of his own feelings.
"I love you. I love you so much," I choked out, the words tumbling from my lips like a desperate plea. His breath hitched, a sharp intake of air that spoke volumes. I felt the tremor that ran through his body, a tangible manifestation of the shock and disbelief that gripped him. He burrowed his nose into my hair, inhaling deeply, as if trying to absorb my very essence.
"My love…" he breathed, the words barely audible, a whispered prayer.
I could feel the frantic beat of his heart against my own, a frantic drumbeat mirroring the turmoil within him. The words he had longed to hear, the affirmation he had dared not dream of, were finally spoken, hanging in the air between us like a fragile, precious thing. He must be feeling like he was in a dream he desperately didn’t want to wake up from.
She's finally with me. She loves me. She's mine.
The words echoed in his mind, a mantra of disbelief and desperate hope. Was this real? Or was it a cruel jest of fate, a fleeting illusion destined to shatter and leave him with nothing but the bitter taste of what could have been?
His mouth crashed against mine, a kiss born not of tenderness or affection, but of raw, unadulterated need. A searing, desperate kiss that stole my breath and left me reeling. It was a kiss that demanded, that consumed, that threatened to obliterate everything in its path. There was no gentleness, no pretense of courtly love. Only a primal hunger, a desperate yearning for connection that had been denied for far too long.
All the pain, the doubts, the anxieties, were momentarily eclipsed by this overwhelming need. This desperate longing for something real, something tangible, something to hold onto in the face of the darkness that had threatened to consume us.
Clothes became an unbearable constraint, a barrier to the intimacy we both craved. They were discarded with a frantic urgency, a desperate shedding of inhibitions and restraints. Buttons popped, zippers screeched, fabric tore, each sound a testament to the escalating frenzy that gripped us. The cool air kissed my skin, heightening my awareness, making every nerve ending sing with anticipation, anticipation for what was about to come.
The warmth of his skin against mine was intoxicating. His body, lean and muscular, was a masterpiece of raw power and sculpted grace. I traced a path from his face, down the strong column of his throat, across his defined collarbone, and over the hard planes of his chest. His abs were a testament to his discipline, a source of envy for men and a source of swooning pleasure for women.
His broad shoulders stretched like mountains, blocking my view of everything but him. He was my world, my focus, my everything in that moment. The only other thing that caught my eye was the silver chain I had gifted him, still around his neck, the dog tags rising and falling in rhythm with his breathing, a constant reminder of the man beneath the warrior.
I didn’t dare to look lower. Not yet. But I could feel his hardness pressing against my thigh, a silent promise of the pleasure to come. The anticipation was a delicious torment, a burning ache that demanded to be quenched.
Caleb's eyes burned into mine, a dark, hungry gaze that promised both ecstasy and oblivion. There was a possessiveness in his eyes, a fierce protectiveness that sent shivers down my spine.
"God," he whispered, his voice raw with emotion. "You're so fucking stunning. More so than I imagined while feeling the guilt over the years, thinking of you that way." He swallowed hard, his fingers brushing against my nipples, sending a jolt of pleasure through me. I swallowed my moan of pleasure and he continues, "I thought… I would die never knowing this feeling."
I leaned in, kissing his lips softly, letting my breath mingle with his. "Yet, I'm here. In front of you. With you as you touch me like you want me to," I whispered against his mouth. His grip tightened, his fingers digging into my skin in a possessive claim.
He wanted to possess you, body and soul, to claim you as his own, to erase any trace of the world beyond your shared desire. He wanted to mark you, brand you, make you his in a way that transcended the physical. He wanted to lose himself in you, to forget the pain, the heartache, the years of longing. He only wanted to be in this moment, with you, forever. The darkness can engulf you both later.
“You’re my princess, aren’t you?”
“Yours,” I breathed, the single word a confession, a surrender. It was the truth, stark and undeniable. Every cell in my body vibrated with the knowledge that I belonged to him, Caleb. Completely and irrevocably. And in that moment, shrouded in shadows and consumed by a desire that felt both dangerous and divine, I didn't want to be anything else. The idea of belonging to someone had always seemed like a prison, a cage built of expectations and limitations. But with Caleb, it was different. It was a liberation, a feeling of being truly seen, truly known, and accepted – even celebrated – for the darkness that resided within me.
His teasing grin returned, that familiar curve of his lips that always sent a swarm of butterflies erupting in my stomach. It was a smile that held a universe of promises, of shared secrets and unspoken desires.
"You're awfully sweet right now. Be careful," he warned, his voice laced with amusement, a hint of something possessive lurking beneath the surface.
I flushed crimson, unable to meet his intense gaze. I knew he was teasing me, but the effect was undeniable. My heart hammered against my ribs, a frantic rhythm echoing the anticipation that pulsed through my veins.
His eyes, dark and fathomless, raked over my body, lingering on every curve and hollow. It was a slow, deliberate appraisal that made my skin prickle with awareness. He knelt back on his haunches, muscles flexing beneath the dark fabric of his briefs. That's when I noticed it – the hard ridge straining against his underwear, a blatant display of his desire. His cock.
It was huge. Unapologetically, undeniably huge. The outline was unmistakable, a testament to the raw power he possessed, a power he wielded with such effortless control. My gaze snagged on it, drawn by an invisible force.
As if sensing where my attention lay, my lips parted, breath catching in my throat as Caleb tugged his briefs down, freeing his shaft from its confinement. It sprang forth, a dark, throbbing entity slapping against his abdomen, a pearl of pre-cum already glistening at the head, a tantalizing invitation.
The curve of the tip was perfect, sculpted like some forbidden fruit, promising a pleasure that transcended the ordinary. I imagined the feel of it, the weight of it, the way it would fill me, stretch me, consume me. I couldn’t seem to tear my gaze away, mesmerized by its potent allure.
"Like what you see?" he smirked, his voice a low, guttural rumble that vibrated through me. I flushed again, a wave of heat washing over me. I was caught, my desire laid bare for him to see, and I didn't know what to say. The deep chuckle that rumbled in his chest was my only response, a sound that sent shivers down my spine.
He wrapped his long fingers around his cock, giving it slow, deliberate strokes as I watched, completely enthralled. But then, his eyes shifted, a new glint in their depths, and his hand moved away from his cock.
Without waiting for an answer, his gaze drifted to the fruit bowl on the nearby coffee table. It was a still life of vibrant colors and enticing scents – oranges, bananas, a cluster of grapes. But my eyes were drawn to the apple, a single, perfect specimen, red like a ruby, nestled amongst the other fruits. It seemed to pulse with a life of its own, drawing me in with its irresistible allure.
Then, as if by magic, it happened. The apple lifted from the bowl, floating effortlessly through the air, guided by an unseen force. My breath caught in my throat, a gasp of disbelief escaping my lips. It was Caleb's power, the gravity evolution he controlled with such ease. Usually, it was a source of deadly fascination and awe, a display of his immense strength. But now, in this moment, it felt different. It felt like a tool of unbridled obsession, a way for him to exert his control over me in the most intimate and tantalizing way.
He manipulated the apple's trajectory with a subtle flick of his wrist, drawing it closer, closer, until it hovered just above my mouth. He met my gaze, his eyes now burning with an intensity that threatened to consume me.
"Open," he commanded, his voice a husky whisper that sent shivers dancing across my skin.
I obeyed, my lips parting slightly, anticipation building within me like a fire. The apple descended, the smooth skin brushing against my lips, the sweet scent filling my nostrils. It was a heady mix of innocence and temptation, a perfect representation of the man who controlled it. He guided it into my mouth, the cool, crisp flesh a stark contrast to the burning heat that coursed through my veins.
I bit down, the juice exploding on my tongue, the sweetness a momentary distraction from the inferno that raged within. The taste was almost cloying, but I couldn't pull away, couldn't break the connection he had forged between us.
“Good girl,” he murmured, the praise hitting me like a jolt of electricity. My core tightened, a wave of heat flooding my loins. The simple words, spoken in that low, possessive tone, were enough to shatter the last vestiges of my control.
He watched me, his eyes filled with a predatory gleam, a hunger that mirrored my own. His hand, warm and calloused, slid between my legs, fingers finding the wet heat that awaited him. I gasped at his first touch, the pleasure intense, almost unbearable. He started stroking me, teasing me, bringing me to the edge of madness with his relentless touch. The apple remained in my mouth, a tantalizing object of both pleasure and control, a constant reminder of his power over me.
His eyes flickered downward, watching as his fingers parted my folds like the petals of a flower. I was slick, so incredibly slick, my body betraying me with its desperate need. I started gushing around his fingers, a clear testament to the pleasure he was inflicting.
"Beautiful," he whispered, his voice thick with lust. He looked back at me, seeing my pleasure-filled face, wanting to capture every expression, every flicker of emotion that crossed my features. The shyness that usually clung to me was gone, banished by the intensity of the moment. I was raw, exposed, completely vulnerable to his gaze. "So responsive. Who would have thought?" He grinned, a flash of white teeth in the dim light.
The words were playful, a teasing caress, but beneath the surface, I sensed a possessiveness that made my breath catch in my throat. This wasn't the Caleb I thought I knew, the charming, considerate man who had always spoiled me or taken care of me. This was something darker, something untamed, and a part of me, the part that craved the forbidden, was desperately curious.
"Last chance. Tell me to stop," he whispered, his voice laced with a dangerous edge. "Tell me you don't want this."
The words hung in the air, a challenge, a dare. But I couldn't. I was paralyzed, caught between fear and a desire so potent it threatened to consume me. I wanted to say no, to regain control, but the word died in my throat. His touch was doing things to my body which never happened to me before.
He seemed to take my silence as consent. While his warm fingers stroked my folds, his other hand moved lower, tracing the line of my ribs, the curve of my hips, igniting a firestorm in their wake. I gasped, arching into his touch, my body betraying my wavering resolve. He chuckled, a low, guttural sound that sent shivers down my spine.
"That's what I thought," he murmured, his voice thick with desire.
I closed my eyes, surrendering to the moment, allowing him to dictate the pace.
"Open your eyes, pipsqueak," he commanded, his voice a low growl. "I want to see you when I touch you."
The command sent a shiver racing down my spine, a delicious blend of fear and excitement. He wanted to witness my surrender, to see the effect he had on me, to claim me utterly and completely with his gaze. And I, a willing captive, obeyed. My eyelids fluttered open, my gaze locking with his intense amethyst eyes, pools of simmering passion that threatened to drown me in their depths.
He was a study in contrasts, a beautiful paradox. His features were sharp and angular, hinting at a dangerous edge, yet softened by the curve of his lips and the intensity of his gaze. His skin, tanned and taut, stretched over muscles honed to perfection.
I couldn't hold it in any longer. The apple which was in my mouth, fell out and it rolled down to the floor with a thud. The sudden climax hit me like a tidal wave, a surge of pure, unadulterated pleasure that ripped through my body, leaving me gasping and breathless. He had sunk two fingers inside me, stroking me deep and good, pushing me over the edge with his relentless expertise.
My body wasn’t in control anymore. It was fully his to manipulate, to worship, to break if he so desired. And in that moment, I knew I would let him. I would surrender everything, every last shred of resistance, to the man who held my heart captive in his dark and beautiful hands. I was his princess, his to command, his to possess, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
The aftermath left me weak and trembling, my body humming with residual energy. I laid there, spent, and Caleb leaned over me, his lips meeting mine in a soft, tender kiss that belied the intensity of what we had just shared.
"You look beautiful when you come," he murmured against my lips, his voice thick with emotion.
I could only blush and bite my lip as he watched, the heat rising in my cheeks. It was mortifying, to be so exposed, so vulnerable, yet at the same time, there was a thrilling liberation in casting off my inhibitions for him. He watched as my teeth sank into my plush bottom lip, the small act of self-inflicted pain arousing something primal within me.
His nostrils flared, and he knelt back, settling into a kneeling position between my legs, his briefs still pulled down, leaving only his magnificent erection exposed. The sight of him, so raw and uninhibited, sent another shiver of desire through me.
He was impatient, though. Not wanting distractions, my gasp is loud when he takes the fabric and tears it in two with his bare hands, his underwear now destroyed. The sound ripped through the air, a primal declaration of his need, and it echoed within me, setting my nerves on fire. I hadn't expected this level of intensity, this blatant disregard for anything but the moment.
"Caleb, what-" I started, my voice a breathless whisper but me cut me off.
"I need you," he rasped, the words rough and guttural, like a caged beast desperate for release but I don't let him touch me again.
I push against his bare chest, looking up at him as his eyes furrow. Confusion, and what might be hurt, flickered across his features, but I steeled myself, pushing past the guilt that threatened to overwhelm me. This was my moment, my chance to reciprocate, to explore the depths of our desire on my own terms.
"It's my time to touch you," I said, the words trembling slightly in the air.
His lips parted, his surprise for a second almost making me giggle. It was a small victory, a brief glimpse of the power I held over him. But I swallowed my nerves down when I watched him gulp, his fisted hands at his sides clenching.
He was so powerful, so in control, yet in this moment, I held the reins. The realization sent a thrill through me, a sense of empowerment I had never experienced before.
"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper.
"Yes," I replied, my voice firm, resolute.
His amethyst eyes darkened then, blazing with an intensity that both thrilled and intimidated me. His legs spread wider in that same kneeling position on his heels, making him even more fiercer, more imposing.
"Then look," he commanded, his voice a low rumble.
I looked down, my gaze drawn to the magnificent display of his masculinity.
"See what you do to me?" He whispered, noticing my eyes wandering over every inch of his exposed skin. He reached down, gently guiding my attention towards his obvious arousal. "Only you can make me this hard." His voice was rough with desire. "You want to touch it?"
He knew the answer before I even spoke. He knew the hunger that gnawed within me, the desperate yearning to explore the contours of his body, to taste the forbidden fruit of his desire. But still, he asked, giving me the choice, acknowledging my agency.
“You should know that I have never…” I trailed off, my voice laced with uncertainty.
"I know," he said softly, gently brushing my hair away from my face. "You're innocent... and that makes me want you even more." His hand guided mine to gently touch him. "Just... explore, if you want. No pressure." His breath caught slightly at my tentative touch, a visible reaction to my hesitant caress.
The weight and heat of him in my hand was startling, unfamiliar, but undeniably intoxicating. I felt a surge of power, knowing that I, with a simple touch, could elicit such a strong reaction from this powerful, dominant man.
I sit up, emboldened by his invitation, and wrap my hand around him.
His head tilted back slightly as my hand made contact. A hesitant touch, almost shy, as my fingers curled around his length. He was thick, unbelievably so, dwarfing my small hand. My fingers barely managed to encircle him once. His violet eyes, usually alight with playful mischief, were now dark pools, fixed on my face. He watched every flicker of emotion, every subtle change in my expression, noting the widening of my eyes, the slight parting of my lips. He saw my surprise, my innocent curiosity, and something else… a budding desire mirrored his own.
He was a creature of raw power, a wild animal barely leashed. The purple of his eyes was clouded with a potent desire that both thrilled and intimidated me. His jaw was clenched tight, the muscles working with a barely suppressed intensity. His abs, usually hidden beneath tailored shirts or his uniform, rippled with each heavy breath he drew, a testament to his barely contained energy. He looked as though he wanted to devour me, to pull me onto his lap in a possessive claim, wrapping his large arms around me, never letting go. A low, guttural sound rumbled from his chest.
"More," he commanded, the single word laced with a desperate need that sent shivers down my spine.
I swallowed hard, my throat suddenly dry. The air in the room seemed to thicken, charged with an electricity that crackled between us.
My hand moved, exploring the length of him with newfound confidence, my fingers tracing the rigid contours. His hips twitched forward instinctively, a silent plea for deeper contact. A slick pre-come, pearly and thick, leaked out, coating my hand in a warm, viscous film. He was already so close to the edge, the precipice of his control, my innocent touches pushing him closer to the brink. He reached down, his large hand engulfing mine, his fingers strong and sure as he guided me in slow, deliberate strokes.
"Just like that..." he breathed, the words a ragged sigh against the heavy air.
"Like that?" I echoed, my voice barely a whisper, laced with uncertainty and a growing fascination.
His abs clenched and unclenched rhythmically as I followed his lead, stroking him slowly, deliberately, feeling the heat and the tension that vibrated beneath my touch. His face was a mask of exquisite torment, contorted with a pleasure that seemed almost painful. His purple eyes rolled back slightly, revealing the whites, as though he were lost in a world of pure sensation.
He spread his legs wider, granting me better access, offering himself to my touch with a primal abandon. "Yes... just like that," he groaned, his voice thick with barely suppressed passion.
Somehow, I had never imagined this. Never envisioned him like this, so raw, so vulnerable, yet so overwhelmingly powerful. The sight of him, teetering on the edge of control, ignited a fire within me, a desire to push him further, to watch him surrender completely to the pleasure I was now wielding. The longer I stared at him in this moment, the more I wanted him to lose control. To shatter the carefully constructed facade of composure and reveal the wild, untamed beast that lurked beneath.
Caleb’s breathing grew heavier, ragged gasps that filled the suddenly silent room. With each stroke of my hand, his control seemed to slip further, his body arching in response to the escalating pleasure. He was utterly lost in the sensation, his eyes glazed over, his jaw tight, the only evidence of the iron will he usually possessed. Then, with a low, guttural growl that resonated deep within my soul, he suddenly seized my wrist, his grip surprisingly strong, halting my movements.
"Enough..." he rasped, his voice strained, his eyes burning into mine. "Enough, or I'm going to cum right here."
"Sorry…" The word tumbled out, a reflexive apology born of inexperience and a fear of overstepping.
"Baby, don't apologize," he chuckled softly, the sound a low rumble in his chest.
He released my wrist, his touch lingering for a moment before he let go completely. I hesitated for only a moment before resuming my ministrations, slowly pumping my hand over his engorged length. He watched my face with an intensity that made my heart pound, studying my innocent features, the slight parting of my lips, the small hand wrapped around his impressive length. His hips moved slightly forward, meeting my touch with a subtle urgency. He was teetering on the edge again, his self-control hanging by a thread.
"It's so big…" The words escaped my lips before I could stop them, a simple, honest observation that seemed to electrify the air between us.
His eyes darkened at my words, the violet transforming into a deep, almost black, purple. A slow smile spread across his face, revealing a flash of white teeth. He loved how innocent and sweet I was, even when I was touching him like this, when I held his power in my hand.
He reached down, his large hand enveloping mine once more, his fingers interlacing with mine, trapping my hand against his throbbing flesh. He began to move my hand faster, his hips thrusting up to meet my touch with a desperate need. "And it's all yours," he murmured, the words a husky promise whispered against my ear.
"Mine?" The question was barely audible, a breathless gasp of surprise and burgeoning desire.
I licked my lips, suddenly parched, the taste of him lingering on my tongue. Before he could anticipate my intentions, before he could stop me, I sat up, knelt on all fours, and leaned down, my breath warm and moist against his skin. With a slow, deliberate movement, I traced the head of his erection with the tip of my tongue.
Caleb let out a loud a surprised groan, a sound of pure, unadulterated pleasure, as my tongue made contact. He buried his hands in my hair, his fingers threading through the strands, holding me gently but firmly against him as I repeated the action, my innocent exploration sending shockwaves of pleasure through his entire body. "Fuck, baby..." he groaned, the words torn from his throat.
He moved then, his hips jerking forward, forcing his length deeper into my mouth as I licked and teased him with my tongue. He was so close to the edge, his control shattering with each passing second.
The innocent depravity of my touch, the sight of my small mouth wrapped around his engorged flesh, pushed him closer and closer to the precipice. He started to thrust gently, his hands tangled in my hair, guiding me, controlling the pace and depth of my ministrations. "Suck me, baby…" he commanded, the words a desperate plea and an undeniable command.
Caleb looked down at me, his amethyst eyes dark and intense, devouring me with his gaze as he watched me struggle to accommodate his size. The sight of my eyes watering, my body trembling, the slight gagging sound as I took him deeper, only fueled his desire, pushing him closer to the edge of oblivion. He wiped away the tears that streamed down my face with his thumbs, his touch surprisingly gentle despite the raw intensity of his movements.
"You're doing so well, princess…" he murmured, his voice a husky encouragement.
He groaned loudly, a sound that bordered on pain, as I tightened my lips around him, my tears spilling down my cheeks, a testament to my effort and his overwhelming size. He was so close, my mouth and the sight of my tears pushing him over the edge. With a final, guttural cry, he thrust forward, his body arching, and he came, his hot seed erupting in shuddering waves, spilling into my mouth.
"Swallow it," he commanded, his voice raw and desperate.
Without hesitation, I obeyed, my throat working as I swallowed every drop, accepting his essence, taking him fully into myself. He watched, his chest heaving as he fought to catch his breath, his body trembling in the aftermath of the intense release. He wiped away the remaining tears from my face, his touch gentle, almost reverent, his mind reeling from the experience. He lifted me up into his lap, cradling me against his chest, his arms wrapped tightly around me as though he never wanted to let me go.
"My sweet baby, you took it all…" he murmured, his voice thick with emotion.
"W…was it good?" I whispered, my voice shaky, my body trembling in the aftermath of the intense encounter, my heart pounding in my chest as I waited for his response.
He chuckled, a low, rumbling sound that vibrated through my body. "Good? Princess, it was beyond good. It was…perfect." He tightened his grip on me, burying his face in my hair. "You're an amazing little thing, do you know that?"
His words were like a drug, soothing the raw edges of my fear, fueling the part of me that craved his attention. I wanted to believe him, to bask in the warmth of his praise, but a nagging doubt lingered in the back of my mind. Was it genuine, or was it just another manipulation, another way to keep me under his control?
He tilted my chin up, forcing me to meet his gaze. His eyes were dark pools, unreadable and intense. "I can't wait to have you, princess," he said, his voice a low growl. "I want to feel you wrapped around me, every inch of you."
A thrill of anticipation shot through me, mingled with a healthy dose of apprehension.
It mingled, however, with a healthy dose of apprehension, a stark reminder of the power he held over me, the potential for both exquisite pleasure and devastating pain. The reality of his size, his sheer physicality, crashed back into my consciousness.
"Can we even fit?" The question blurted out before I could censor it, a nervous, almost comical query that shattered the carefully constructed tension. "You're...big." The word hung in the air, a testament to the undeniable scale of him, a daunting prospect that simultaneously terrified and intrigued me.
A slow, predatory smile stretched across his face, a silent promise of the pleasure – and the challenge – that awaited. "Oh, baby," he murmured, his voice laced with amusement and a hint of something more primal. "We'll fit. I promise you, we'll make it fit." He shifted his weight, subtly pressing against me, a deliberate provocation that sent a renewed wave of heat surging through my veins.
He reached down, his fingers tracing the delicate curve of my hip, sending shivers dancing across my skin. "Don't underestimate my… ingenuity," he whispered, his breath warm against my ear. "I know how to make things… accommodate." The double entendre was unmistakable, a blatant and deliciously wicked tease that left me breathless.
He continued his tantalizing exploration, his fingers moving lower, tracing the line of my thigh with agonizing slowness. "We might have to get creative," he murmured, his voice a husky rasp. "A little bending, a little guiding… perhaps even a little persuasion." Each word was a deliberate stroke, painting a vivid picture in my mind, arousing a potent mixture of fear and undeniable excitement.
"And don't think for a moment that I haven't thought about every single angle, every possible position," he continued, his voice a hypnotic drawl. "I've imagined you beneath me, above me, beside me… twisted in ways you never thought possible." The images he conjured were both shocking and undeniably alluring, pushing the boundaries of my inhibitions, igniting a fire within me that threatened to consume me whole.
He pulled back slightly, his lilac eyes burning into mine. "Trust me, princess," he said, a dangerous glint in his gaze. "We'll find a way. We'll make it work. And it will be… unforgettable." He lowered his head, his lips hovering just above mine, a silent invitation to surrender to the intoxicating darkness he offered.
My breath hitched in my throat, my body trembling with anticipation. The fear was still there, a nagging undercurrent, but it was being drowned out by the overwhelming tide of desire. I knew, deep down, that giving in to him, allowing him to take control, was a dangerous game. But the allure was too strong, the temptation too irresistible. I wanted to experience the full extent of his power, to explore the depths of my own desires, to lose myself in the intoxicating darkness that he embodied.
With a shaky exhale, I closed the distance between us, my lips meeting his in a hesitant, tentative kiss. It was a silent agreement, a surrender to the inevitable.
He lowered me slowly back onto the plush velvet of the couch, his movements deliberate, each one a promise and a threat. He positioned himself over me, a dark silhouette against the dim light filtering through the curtains. His lips, usually so quick to form a smirk or a biting remark, were dry, almost cracked, and he worried them with his teeth as he watched me, his gaze intense and possessive. It was a gaze that stripped me bare, not just physically, but emotionally, leaving me vulnerable and exposed.
Lifting my right leg, he draped it over his broad shoulder, the angle both compromising and exhilarating. The stretch was uncomfortable, a sharp reminder of the boundary I was crossing, but the anticipation, the undeniable pull towards him, overshadowed the pain. He pushed himself closer, the heat radiating from his body branding me, and my eyes were drawn, almost against my will, to the undeniable evidence of his arousal. His cock, already rock-hard from the first time, pulsed with a life of its own, a stark contrast to the controlled, almost detached demeanor he usually presented.
Sweat beaded on his biceps, glistening in the subdued light. Rivulets traced paths down his sculpted abs. The silver chain he always wore, a constant reminder of my love for him, swayed slightly with each movement, catching the light like a fleeting spark of rebellion.
"Caleb, are you sure…" The question escaped my lips, a whisper of doubt despite the fire that raged within me. The sheer size of his cock, the undeniable reality of what was about to happen, sent a shiver of apprehension down my spine. But he only chuckled, a low, dark sound that resonated deep within my chest, sending a tremor of both fear and excitement through me. It was a crazed sound, a sound that hinted at the darkness that lurked beneath his carefully constructed facade.
He gripped his length, his hand a possessive caress that made me gasp. Positioning the tip against my entrance, he leaned over me, his weight pressing me into the cushions. My leg strained against the unnatural angle, the muscles screaming in protest, but the pain was a distant hum compared to the roaring in my ears. He breathed against my lips, his breath hot and ragged, laced with a hint of desperation. "You will take it like a good girl, without objections, hm?"
His words were a command, a challenge, and a promise all rolled into one. They ignited a fire deep within me, a primal response that silenced my doubts and amplified my desire. I was already wet, slick and ready, his slicked, swollen head brushing against my folds like a sinful kiss.
"What about protection?" I managed to whisper, the question a last-ditch attempt to cling to some semblance of control.
He didn't hesitate, his answer immediate and unapologetic. "I don't have any with me. I didn't envision us being naked tonight," he mocked, his voice a dark, teasing whisper that sent shivers down my spine. "So our first time will be raw. So I can feel your virgin walls tighten around me." He punctuated his words with a kiss, a searing brand that sealed my fate. "It's too late to back out, you know?"
A whimper escaped my lips, a sound that betrayed the conflict raging within me. Fear warred with anticipation, doubt battled against desire. But deep down, I knew he was right. It was too late. I couldn't wait any longer to feel him inside me, to be filled with him, to experience the raw, unbridled connection that had been building between us for so long. I desperately needed him.
"Then what are you waiting for?" The words were a surrender, an invitation, a plea.
Without warning, he pushed the tip inside me, and I gasped, the unexpectedness of the sensation stealing my breath. He chuckled, a sound laced with triumph and a hint of something darker, something that made my heart pound in my chest.
"That's for being sassy, you little ungrateful brat. Will you be good for me?"
I nodded, my movements small and submissive. Our saliva dripped between our parted lips as he stroked his tongue between my words, tasting my surrender.
"Good girl," His praise was a weapon, a tool he wielded with precision, knowing exactly how to elicit the response he desired. The words made me whimper again, a sound that quickly morphed into a choked moan as he sank another inch, the painful stretch almost blinding me. It was a pain unlike any I had ever experienced, a tearing, burning sensation that threatened to overwhelm me.
"Shit," he cursed, the word a harsh rasp against the sudden silence.
He could feel you, tight and resistant, and his cock pulsed with the overwhelming urge to release, to find release in the sweet confines of your virginity. But that would be a waste, a cruel denial of the pleasure he craved, the pleasure he wanted you both to experience.
"It…it…hurts," I moaned, my nails digging into his shoulders, drawing blood without him even noticing.
He was consumed, lost in the moment, oblivious to everything but the feel of you, the taste of you, the overwhelming sensation of being connected to you in this primal, forbidden way. He gritted his teeth against the onslaught of sensation, forcing himself to slow down, to savor the agony and the ecstasy.
The sweat between us was hot, a slick film that bound us together.
His right hand, the one that had been caressing my jaw, now tightened around my throat, the metal of his fingers cool against my skin. The pressure was subtle, a gentle reminder of his power, his control.
"You're doing so good, baby. Just a little more," Caleb grunted, pushing himself even deeper, lost in the intoxicating haze of the moment.
He was too far gone to stop now, consumed by the realization that his darkest fantasy was unfolding before him. You were beneath him, naked and vulnerable, raw and breathtakingly beautiful. He wanted to freeze this moment, to hold onto it forever, to never let you go.
Tears streamed down my face, a mixture of pain and pleasure, of fear and exhilaration. It wasn't just the physical discomfort that brought them forth, but the overwhelming emotion of the moment, the profound connection that was forming between us. It was a joy to finally feel this, to feel full, to feel complete in a way I never had before.
Caleb moaned again, the sound guttural and raw, sending shivers down my spine. He removed his hand from my throat, bracing his forearm beside my head on the armrest of the couch. His fingers were clenched into a fist, a testament to the self-control he was exerting. With his other hand, he guided his cock deeper, inch by excruciating inch.
"Caleb, oh-" I couldn't stop myself from moaning his name, the sound a desperate plea that spurred him on even more. He suddenly rammed himself fully inside, all seven and a half inches of him breaching my virgin walls.
The pain was shocking, a blinding wave that washed over me, stealing my breath and leaving me momentarily paralyzed. My lips parted in a silent whimper, my body arching against his.
Caleb froze, completely still, like a statue of steel against my trembling flesh.
"I'm sorry, baby. You just feel so good," he breathed, his voice rough with emotion. He looked down at me, his eyes filled with a mixture of remorse and desire. He wiped the tears from my face, his touch gentle and surprisingly tender. "Just a moment, and the pain will fade away, all right?" He kissed my temple, a soft, lingering gesture that offered solace and reassurance. I shifted uncomfortably beneath him, and the pain began to subside, slowly transforming into something else, something almost…pleasurable.
"You can move…I think…" My voice was hoarse, my throat dry.
Caleb clenched his jaw, staring down at me with an intensity that made my heart pound. He pulled back slightly, his cock dragging against my sensitive flesh, teasing me, torturing me. He retreated until only the tip remained inside, hovering just at the edge of my entrance. The sensation was exquisite, agonizing, unbearable. The feeling of being almost empty sparked a desperate need within me, a primal urge to be filled again, to be consumed by him. I clenched around his head, my muscles contracting in a silent plea, begging him to sink back inside. I dug my nails into his skin, desperate for purchase, desperate for release.
He watched my expression, his eyes dark and knowing. And then, without warning, he thrust forward, burying himself deep within me.
My clit met his pelvic bone, sending a jolt of pure pleasure through my body. We both moaned, the sound a primal symphony of pain and ecstasy. Each thrust was more intense than the last, each drag against my sensitive flesh driving me closer to the edge. He seemed drunk on my pussy, lost in the intoxicating sensation of being inside me. The look in his eyes was feral, untamed, as he fucked me with a desperate hunger, as if he had been starving for this moment for his entire life.
My whimpers and moans grew louder, the sounds punctuated by gasps of breath. Words became gibberish, meaningless sounds that escaped my lips as I surrendered to the overwhelming pleasure. His chain swayed between us, a distracting glint of silver against the darkening landscape of our passion. He caught it between his teeth, the metal cold against his lips, and grabbed my leg, lifting my hip to ram even deeper, his balls slapping against my ass with each thrust.
"Your pussy's so...fucking...good," he grunted, his words raw and unfiltered. He looked feral, his eyes glazed with desire, his face flushed with exertion.
The air crackled with a dark, erotic charge. He teased, tormented, pushing me to the edge, then pulling me back, denying me the release I craved. He demanded my surrender, not just of my body, but of my will.
"Beg me to come, princess. Then maybe I will allow you to fly."
Too weak to resist, I obeyed.
"Please," I whimpered, the word a desperate plea torn from my throat. "Caleb, please…"
He ignored my pleas, increasing the pace, the force of his thrusts. Each stroke was a calculated torment, designed to push me closer to the precipice. The anticipation was excruciating, a delicious torture that stretched on for an eternity. I clawed at his back, my nails digging into his flesh, desperate for purchase in the storm raging within me.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Caleb relented. He unleashed the torrent, allowing me to teeter over the edge. The world exploded in a kaleidoscope of sensations, a blinding rush of pure, unadulterated pleasure. My body convulsed, my muscles tightened, and a strangled cry escaped my lips as I plummeted into the abyss.
He didn't stop there. He rode the wave with me, meeting my climax with his own. With long, powerful strokes, he pushed me further, deeper, until I thought I would shatter into a million pieces. And then, finally, he unleashed his own storm, his body shuddering as he emptied himself inside me, filling me to the brim. His seed pulsed within me, a tangible symbol of our transgression, a dark promise of the bond we had forged in the crucible of lust.
My whimpers were loud now, fueled by the aftershocks of the orgasm that still coursed through my veins.
"Such a good girl." He praised me, his voice rough and low.
He savored the moment, not wanting to waste a single drop of his essence. He thrust back inside, deeper than before, his eyes locked onto the juncture of our bodies. He stared down at the place where we were joined, where my virginity had been sacrificed on the altar of his desire. My blood, a crimson stain against the cream coloured couch, seemed to give him a deep satisfaction, a confirmation that he was the first, the one who had claimed you.
Exhaustion washed over me, a heavy blanket that threatened to pull me under. I wanted nothing more than to sleep, to escape the intensity of the moment, to retreat into the oblivion of unconsciousness.
But Caleb had other ideas. He wasn't finished with me yet.
He scooped me into his arms, carrying me towards the bathroom. "I'm going to take care of you now," he murmured, his voice a low rumble against my ear. That same caring, affectionate Caleb was back, reminding me of the old days again.
He promised me of the "special hair drying care" again which he had started when he first came to my apartment tonight, a dark threat veiled in a promise of pleasure. I was too weak to resist, too lost in the aftermath of our encounter to fight him. I complied, surrendering myself to his will, accepting my fate as his captive, his possession.
Under the warm spray of the shower, he washed away the evidence of our sin, but not the memory.
Each touch, each caress, was a reminder of the power he held over me, the dark desire that bound us together.
The warm water swirled around me, a comforting embrace that did little to soothe the unease coiled tight in my stomach. Caleb’s touch was feather-light, a deliberate caress as he guided the soapy sponge down my arm. "Are you warm enough, my love?" he murmured, his voice a silken thread weaving through the steamy air. "The water's just how you like it, isn't it?"
I leaned into him, the familiar scent of his sandalwood soap filling my senses. "Perfect, Caleb. Just perfect."
His hands moved to my hair, the suds cool against my scalp as he began to massage. It was a familiar ritual, one I usually found deeply relaxing. Tonight, however, a tremor of something akin to apprehension ran through me.
"Mmm, your hair smells like honeysuckle again," he said, his voice dropping a register, becoming intimately close. "I love it when you use that shampoo. It reminds me of the times when we were young and naive. Thinking back..it was like fate."
A smile touched my lips, a fragile thing. "It does feel like fate, doesn't it?"
His fingers stilled for a moment, the gentle rhythm broken. When he spoke again, the lightness had vanished from his tone, replaced by an intensity that always left me breathless. "It is fate. You were always meant to be mine. Do you understand that, princess?"
I turned my face up to his, meeting his gaze. His eyes, usually a warm purple, were now dark pools, reflecting a possessiveness that bordered on obsession. "Yes, Caleb. I do." The words were a reflex, a response I knew he needed to hear.
He cupped my face in his hands, his thumbs tracing slow circles on my cheekbones. His touch was gentle, almost reverent, yet there was an underlying strength, a claim being staked.
"Good. Because sometimes… sometimes I worry. I see the way others look at you. They don't understand. They don't see what I see. They don't deserve to see."
A chill, unrelated to the water temperature, prickled my skin. I reached up, placing my hands over his wrists, my fingers pressing against the pulse that throbbed there. "They don't matter, Caleb. Only you matter."
A relieved sigh escaped him, a gust of air that ruffled the damp tendrils of hair framing my face. "That's right. Only me. And you… you are only mine. Every inch of you. This beautiful skin…" He dipped the sponge again, his touch lingering on my shoulder. "…these soft curves…" His fingers trailed down my back, sending shivers dancing across my spine. “…all mine."
"Yes, Caleb. All yours," I whispered, the words a surrender, a promise.
He pulled me closer, the water cascading over both of us, plastering my hair to my face. His voice was a low murmur against my ear, a secret shared in the intimacy of the moment. "No one will ever take you away from me. Do you hear me? No one. They can try, but…" He paused, the darkness that lurked beneath the surface creeping into his tone. "…they will fail."
A wave of conflicting emotions washed over me: fear, yes, but also a strange sense of security. There was a raw power in his words, a certainty that both terrified and thrilled me. I wrapped my arms around him tightly, clinging to him as if he were the only anchor in a turbulent sea. "I don't want anyone else, Caleb. I only want you."
He kissed my temple, his lips lingering against my skin, branding me. His embrace tightened, possessive and demanding. "And you'll always have me. I'll always be here, watching over you, protecting you. You can't run from me, even if you wanted to."
Tilting my head back, I looked up at him, forcing a soft smile onto my face. "I don't want to run. I'm exactly where I'm supposed to be." It was a lie, perhaps, or at least a half-truth. There were days, nights even, when the weight of his devotion felt like a gilded cage, beautiful but confining. But the alternative, the thought of not being with him, was even more terrifying.
His grip tightened further, his knuckles white against my back, but his voice softened again, becoming almost achingly tender. "My sweet, precious… You are my everything."
The sound of the water continued, a constant, swirling symphony that filled the silence as Caleb held me close. I closed my eyes, focusing on the feel of his arms around me, the steady beat of his heart against my ear. It was a silent promise of forever, a forever that both comforted and haunted me.
I knew, deep down, that Caleb's love was a dangerous thing, a consuming fire that threatened to engulf everything in its path. But I was drawn to it, mesmerized by its intensity. He saw me, truly saw me, in a way no one else ever had. He cherished me, protected me, even if that protection came at a cost.
And perhaps, I thought, as I leaned further into his embrace, that was enough. Perhaps being his, completely and utterly, was a price I was willing to pay. The alternative, a life without his fierce devotion, was a bleak and desolate landscape I couldn't bear to imagine. So I stayed, bathed in the warmth of his possessive love, and prayed that the darkness that flickered in his eyes would never consume us both. I prayed that my love would be enough to keep him tethered to reality, to prevent his obsession from spiraling out of control.
But deep down, a chilling voice whispered that it was already too late. That I was already caught in his web, bound by threads of love and fear, and that there was no escape. And perhaps, a small, secret part of me didn't want to escape. Perhaps I was as addicted to his darkness as he was to my light.

Tomura could only watch as his mind was stolen, watch his body being overtaken by a force he wasn’t strong enough to stop. All for One’s control taking over. He knew he had seconds left before he’d no longer cease to be himself. You burned with hatred beneath him, your left arm broken and useless, your right hand holding some sharp shrapnel that you’d plunged desperately into his side, your powers flickering weakly within you. He didn’t feel the pain. Your eyes flashed, his hands around your neck, squeezing. Someone was going to win here but… it wasn’t going to be him.
He pulled you hard, the fire in your eyes licking and burning his own but he couldn’t care less. If he was going to die he was going to make one last grave mistake that might send him to the grave earlier than expected. He leaned down where you were pinned beneath him and with impressive force, smashed his lips against your own.
The kiss was like a fight. Like all your other fights. But lips instead of fists. With breaths instead of words. With groans instead of screams and growls. His hands gripped your face hard to keep you where he wanted you. You, in a fit of confusion and pure survival instinct twisted the shrapnel in his side. He gasped in pain but that only spurred him on, his mouth cracking yours open in a feverish attempt to be as close as humanly possible. He had no indication whether or not you wanted this until the pain ceased and he felt your tongue brush against his. His breathing hitched, muddled with pain and sorrow and complete obsession. He pulled you off the ground roughly and kissed you until you both were gasping for air. When he pulled back the state he left you in was enough to satisfy him for years. Your lips were kissed pink and wet, your cheeks had a wicked blush across them as you stared at him with utter bewilderment and something else that had his stomach tangling in knots within him.
He resigned himself to death then. He was guilty as sin.
Your hand was still on the hilt of your shrapnel that was embedded in his side as you stared at each other. Breaths heavy. Tomura didn’t know how to be kind. He didn’t know how to be soft. He’d never kissed anyone before and it should’ve been pretty damn suspicious when the first person he’d ever felt the need to devour with his lips was the one standing opposite of him in this endless war. The one he needed to destroy. And to say he wanted to devour you was almost an understatement. He wanted to climb into your body and live in your ribcage, safe and tucked away. He wanted to be inside you, wanted that mind of yours to only know him, wanted those pink lips to only speak his name, those pretty eyes to only meet his. The obsession was endless. He wanted it more than ever right now. Death knocking down his rotted door. So bad that he hadn’t even noticed his own tears before they fell and hit your cheeks. You blinked a few times, slowly coming back down from the clouds. Tomura reached for you a last time, the pad of his thumb swiping his tears off your cheek.
“Save me, hero.” He breathed out before everything went black.
~
“Again!” He called as you huffed. Aizawa was a relentless teacher. You felt your powers flicker inside your veins as you tried to control them, to harness them and use them the way they were meant to be used. But dammit, you were tired. You two had been at this for hours. You weren’t some kid he could push around and it was then, with exhaustion mingling with annoyance you shook your head defiantly. Throwing your hands down.
“I’m done!” You growled at him, tossing aside your practice weapon. Aizawa straightened.
“We’re just getting started, hero.” He mocked as you stared at him with venom. He knew all about your inherited quirk, knew there wasn’t much time for you to harness it and so he’d been pushing you to the edge for months to train you.
“Don’t call me that.”
“What should I call you then? Fraud?” He asked and that fire that you wanted to extinguish flickered in seconds, catching your inside on fire.
“I’ll kill you!” You growled. You didn’t need that useless weapon. You outstretched your arm and black whip shot out like an extension of your grip, it wrapped around Aizawa in milliseconds as you yanked him towards you. You knew he’d use erasure and you were looking forward to it. The moment he used it it didn’t stop his moment as black whip dissolved around him, your powers canceled out only for his face to meet your fist. You hit him hard enough to rattle the brain in his skull. He hit the ground even harder and for a moment your heart leaped. He’d always said you were quick to fly off the handle and you’d just proved him right. Your hand ached, your knuckles busted. Aizawa groaned from the ground, pushing up on his forearms. You breathed out a relieved breath, thinking you had maybe killed him with that fuckery of a move.
“That was smart.” He sighed, his upper cheek already had a bruise forming. “Why don’t you give me this energy during practice instead of making me get you angry?” He asks as you look at him hard.
“We’ve been at it for hours.” You growled angrily. “I’m tired.”
“And you don’t think I am too?” He pushed to his feet, giving you a hard look, his dark hair falling in his face. “You are a brat. You are stronger than any quirk user yet you don’t care enough to really harness those powers. You asked for this.”
“I know!” You burst out, turning pointedly away from him, dreaming of your bed, dreaming of a night without nightmares of all for one stealing your power and killing the world. You weren’t a kid but you were still young, young enough that this burden on your shoulders was crushing you.
“You can’t run from this.” Aizawa said but he didn’t sound angry. You still didn’t turn to face him. “You think you’re all alone?”
“Of course I’m alone! It’s just like you said, I’m the strongest.”
“Everyone needs a hand. Even All-Might.” Aizawa said. You turned on him, eyes sharp.
“All-Might defeated All for one on his own. There’s not a soul that could stand beside me and not be killed.”
“I’ve stood beside you this whole time. I’ve trained you. You think I’ll just let you go at it alone after everything we’ve been through?” Aizawa asked as the look in your eyes hardened.
“I won’t let you.” You said in a low, intimidating voice. Aizawa’s lips parted slightly. “All for one will not get a shot at you. I’ll die before that happens.”
“You’re stubborn but not as stubborn as me.” Aizawa returns, taking a step towards you. “I’m with you till the end.”
“Did you not hear a word I-” Aizawa leaned into your space, hand sliding over your cheek as his lips cut off your sentence. You almost pulled back but he stepped closer to you, one hand on your face the other sliding around you and resting on the dip of your back. You pushed him back forcefully, your breath shaky as you stared at him.
“Forgive me… I-” You grabbed him roughly by his shirt, slamming your lips against his. He grunted against your lips in surprise, hands barely ghosting over your hips. You kissed him unforgivingly hard. This was a sort of ultimate payback in a small way, of all the hours he overworked you. You pushed him back on the training mat and slid atop him. This was a form of practice, right? A workout that wouldn’t exhaust you… or would it? If he thought for a moment you’d let him help you now he was sorely mistaken. But on the other side of the coin, if you thought for a moment he wouldn’t die for you, you were sorely mistaken as well. Rock meets hard place.
~
“Idiot.” You growled beside his hospital bed. Hawks looked peaceful and you wanted nothing more than to shake him awake and smack some sense into him. But he was still healing so your assault of slaps and punches would have to wait. You huffed. Leaning back in your chair, flipping through the channels on the tv. It wasn’t long before your mind wandered to the same thing you’d been thinking about for days.
Hawks almost dying for you. Hawks pushing you aside before you were impaled with Shigaraki’s power. Having to watch Hawks get impaled, having his eyes meet yours and a stupid soft and beautiful smile on his face as he mumbled something you didn’t even get to hear. You tried remembering again, tried focusing on his lips in your memories but it was of no use. You huffed, unable to relax as you turned back to look at him. The number two hero. You stare at him, your eyes drifting to those lips. You willed him to say those words again and when his eyes opened you didn’t even notice.
“Watching me sleep? How romantic.” He said, his voice gruff from being unused for days. You jumped at not only the sound of his voice but being caught staring at his lips.
“I wasn’t. I was trying to kill you with my mind.” You grumbled protectively, eyes snapping up to meet him. The way he looked at you was the most dangerous thing you’d see in a while. The pure adoration in his eyes, the smile that formed on his lips at your joke. It twisted at your insides.
“Are you alright?” He asked because the last thing he remembered in the fight was you hurt and in trouble. You tensed.
“You're the one in a hospital bed.” You growled. Hawks seemed to just notice this fact, he was utterly distracted by the fact that you’d been sitting at his bedside. He reached for your hand but you pulled away and stood to your feet.
“Y/n-”
“I told you not to get involved.” You growled. “I had it under control but you had to go and try to play the hero.”
“I am a hero.” Hawks said, something in his eyes that angered you more.
“Not to me. I don’t need your sacrifice. If you wanna get yourself killed, do it for someone else.” You hissed. He looked at you. You hoped your venomous words would have some effect on him. You wanted him to be angry. Wanted him to hate you. To look at you with harsh eyes but his expression didn’t change.
“Such venom.” He said with a smirk. If you didn’t have some modicum of control over your powers and anger this whole hospital would’ve been brought down. “Are you trying to push me away again?”
“What?” You huffed.
“You heard me, number one. I know what you’re doing but it’s not gonna work.”
“And what am I doing?”
“What you do to everybody you start to care about. You lash out at them so they’re not tempted to stay by your side when things go sideways.”
“I-- I don’t do that.”
“You’re a terrible liar.” Hawks admonished with a shake of his head. You take in a deep breath, tensing your jaw. “Growl all you want, I’m not getting scared away.”
“You’re crazy. You almost died, this isn’t some fucking joke.”
“I knew I’d be fine. Knew you’d carry me off the battlefield.” He croons, you stare at him hard.
“How could you have known?”
“I’m an optimistic guy.” He smiles. You roll your eyes, turning to leave. He catches your wrist just as you reach for the handle.
“What-? You need to stay in bed, idiot.” You growl as Hawks holds your wrist gently in one hand, the other on his bandaged torso.
“I’ll get back in bed if you stay.”
“Are you serious?” You growl as he nods his head.
“Deadly serious.”
“You’re a child.” You sigh.
“Stay. Don’t run away from me.” He says and the seriousness in his voice has your stomach flipping. You pull out of his touch.
“Get in bed.” You direct and his eyes look down into yours, a challenge.
“Make me.” He says. Your eye twitches as you waste zero time pushing this idiot back towards his bed. Once the backs of his knees hit the mattress he pulls a move on you and you’re pulled on top of him. You two tumble onto the hospital bed. Your heart lurches dangerously into your throat, feeling the warmth of his hands ghosting your hips.
“What the hell is wrong with you?”
“Hush.” He says, hands sliding up to either side of your face as he pulls you down so that your lips meet. The shock of his cold lips against yours was like a rush to your system. An overloading and overheating shock. You gasped at the ache of want that tore through you. That had always been lurking beneath every tense moment with Hawks. Him training you. You two on missions. Reluctant breakfast, lunch, and dinners with him. He wormed his way into your heart and you hated it. Anyone close to you was surely going to be killed and that dangerous hope in your chest that built when he was around should’ve raised flags for you. But you let him in. You selfish creature. You pushed him back, and moved shakily to your feet. Hawks reached for you again and you caught his wrist, twisting it. He flinched in pain, staring at you with confusion and hurt.
“Don’t touch me again.” You growled. You needed space from him, your head swimming, your eyes traitorously drifting to the lips that had just been against yours.
“What's wrong?” Hawks asked. You stepped back, narrowing your eyes.
“You never listen. You-- you’re always trying to confuse me and sneak your way into my-- you need to leave me alone.”
“No.”
“N-No?” You asked as Hawks barely raised his brows, nodding his head. His blond hair falling against his forehead. He looked so annoyingly beautiful you wanted to hit him.
“I don’t just sacrifice my life for anybody.” He says as he stands, wincing in pain.
“Just stay in the damn bed-” He pulled you to him, inches taller than you, eyes unwaveringly serious as he spoke his next sentence.
“I love you.” He said and the words had your eyes widening, a soft gasp escaping your lips. He clearly loved that he caught you off guard. “You don’t have to say it back. I just wanted you to know what I said.”
“What you said?” You echo, unable to properly digest this moment.
“When I saved you. I said I loved you.” The words his lips spoke that you’d been driven up a wall trying to remember. If he died you would’ve never known.
“I hate you.”
“Close enough.” He grins, leaning and pressing his lips gently to yours. You didn’t push him off, you didn’t have the strength, something selfish was taking over and you didn’t have the will power to fight it. You’d played it safe for years. Not letting anyone get close. But… you failed. You kissed Hawks back with twice the passion, pushing him back on the bed, caging him beneath you. If he was going to love you you were going to let him. Damned selfishness…

Kunigami’s never been hooked up to a polygraph before. He’s never been in an interview like this before either. When the team’s PR manager introduced the idea to the team, Kunigami was rather excited for something so fun and unique. It’d definitely get them more attention and hopefully expand their fan base. Not to mention, he used to love watching those ‘answering your tweets’ interviews so he was looking forward to being on the other end of the screen this time.
He, however, did not expect the fans to be so dirty minded.
“Twitter user @/rensuckmyclit asks ‘How do you feel about breeding and how do I get myself a rensuke creampie??’”
He shouldn’t be so surprised, not after hearing what Isagi and Bachira had to answer but he was hoping he’d get some tame questions. How in the hell was he supposed to answer this?
It didn’t help that he could hear the two men beside him laughing at his expression, one of shock, confusion and embarrassment. But he’s made his bed and now he’s gotta lie in it or however the saying goes.
“Yeah breeding is…nice, and uh you can’t?” his statement coming out as more of a question.
All heads in the room turn to Milo, the polygraph examiner, curious to hear his verdict but are met with an old man frowning at his machine. “Inconclusive.”
“Maybe try saying more than just two words, idiot,” Isagi sarcastically adds as he punches his arm.
“Don’t bother lying, Milo’ill catch ya,” Bachira adds, grinning mischievously at the ginger.
“I’ll repeat the question for you: ‘How do you feel about breeding and how do I get myself a rensuke creampie??’”
“How are you even saying that with a straight face?!” Kunigami questions. “Ugh nevermind.…Breeding is uh…a yes for me.”
“So you’re into it?”
“Yes I’m into it,” he sighs.
“Milo?”
“Truth”
“And as for the second part of the question—god I can’t believe I’m about to say this on camera—,” Kunigami drags his hand down his face and mutters out the rest of the answer, “only Y/N gets a ‘rensuke creampie’.” He uses his free hand to form air quotes for the embarrassing term.
“Y/N?” the interviewer questions.
“My girlfriend. Now can I get the next question before these two pass out? Megs looks like he forgot how to breathe– dammit its not that funny!” Hearing their usually collected teammate lose his temper over this only released another wave of cackles from the boys, contagious enough that even the polygraph examiner and the interviewer couldn’t hold back their chuckles. Kunigami can only huff in embarrassment as he waits for what’s next.
“Okay, okay… our next question is from twitter user @/kunigamisrightasscheekhairs.”
“What the fuck are these handles?”
“I think they’re creative,” Bachira snickers.
“They ask ‘What’s the weirdest thing you’ve been asked to sign?’”
Kunigami takes a second to reflect on all his fan interactions. Frowning, he hums in thought and just when he thinks he’s got answer he remembers an even odder instance. On the outside he looks like a fish opening and closing its mouth with nothing ever coming out until finally he sits up straighter to respond, “Someone once asked me to sign her tits.”
“What’s the verdict Milo? Is he telling the truth?”
“Yup.”
“Well did you do it?”
“Do what?”
“Sign the girl’s tits.”
“I don’t need to answer that so I won’t” Kunigami smirks at Isagi feeling smart but the blue eyed man just smirks back, “Well that just makes it seem like you definitely did. I wonder if Y/N knows about this. Should I tell her?”
Isagi is met with Kunigami’s playful glare and a series of curses thrown at him, all of which will be censored out when this episode is posted on BlueTube.
However, the room is silenced when Kunigami goes serious. He turns to the camera with a straight face, “I’m only admitting this because I don’t want any false accusations of me cheating or anything going around. Yes I signed her tits. And yes Y/N knows about it. They were her tits. And because I know one of these two idiots will ask, yes we were dating at the time.”
“All true,” the examiner confirms but one look at Kunigami’s face would be more than enough to know if he was really telling the truth. Afterall, his face was turning redder than his hair.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE MEAL 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 i hope yew write more yan!phainon x reader fics in the future
Yandere! Elf Phainon x Reader
Tumblr media
Art credit: CH203r on X Do not use this art without permission!
You are a bounty hunter in need of money, so you take on various requests. Somehow you accidentally kidnap the wrong target, but instead of being angry, he seems intrigued by you.
The job was supposed to be simple. A quick bounty, a bag of gold, and maybe a hot meal at the end of the day. But as you stared at the man bound before you, his calm expression unsettling against the flickering campfire, you had the nagging feeling that something was terribly wrong.
"What do you mean you are not Kevin? Look at this description, you're definitely him." You shoved the crumpled wanted poster in his face, pointing at the sketch of a white-haired man with sharp features.
He tilted his head slightly, amusement flickering in his blue eyes. "Miss…"
"Y/n L/n."
"Y/n."
"Don’t address me so casually! Answer me!"
"You see…" He gestured toward his pointed ears. "This man right here is a human being. While I’m…an elf"
Your eye twitched. Dammit. This was bad. You had wasted days tracking down this guy, only to end up with the wrong target. And now, with barely any coin left, you were in serious trouble.
As if to make matters worse, your stomach chose that moment to let out a humiliating growl.
Phainon chuckled softly. "I have an idea. How about I take you to a place full of treasure?"
Your eyes narrowed. "Why would you help me?"
His smile deepened. "Because, dear hunter, you intrigue me."
You should have known better.
Despite being an experienced bounty hunter, you found yourself struggling to keep up with Phainon as you ventured deeper into the dungeon. The elf moved effortlessly through the ruins, his magic lighting the way, effortlessly dispatching the creatures that lurked in the shadows. Meanwhile, your stamina drained at an alarming rate, your sword heavy in your grip.
"Try to keep up." he said over his shoulder, his smirk teasing.
You scowled. "You could at least pretend to struggle."
"If I did, would you feel better?"
Before you could retort, the air shifted. A dark presence loomed from within the cavern, the final challenge of the dungeon making itself known. A monstrous creature, wreathed in shadows, launched itself toward Phainon. Instinct kicked in before you could think. You threw yourself in front of him, taking the brunt of the attack.
Pain lanced through your body as you collapsed to one knee, struggling to stay upright.
"Cover your eyes" Phainon ordered, his voice uncharacteristically firm.
You barely had the strength to obey before a deafening boom erupted around you. A rush of magic swirled, and suddenly, you were no longer in the dungeon.
Instead, you found yourself in a quiet clearing, bathed in moonlight.
You blinked in confusion, your legs unsteady as Phainon steadied you with a firm grip.
"Where are all the gold you promised?" you demanded, gripping his sleeve.
"Oh, that?" He tilted his head, feigning innocence. "I forgot."
Your eye twitched. "You-"
"But instead…" He leaned in closer, his lips brushing your ear. "I’ll treat you to a meal."
There was something unnerving about the way he said it, something ..possessive in the way he held onto you. Your instincts screamed at you to pull away, but you couldn’t. You were exhausted, and despite everything, the warmth of his touch was oddly comforting.
Maybe… just for tonight, you’d let your guard down.
You woke up earlier than him, the fire reduced to embers. The peaceful rise and fall of his chest was a stark contrast to the brutal elf you had seen in battle. He looked... human, in a way that made your heart twist. Without thinking, you brushed your fingers through his short white hair, a soothing gesture you weren’t sure was meant for him or yourself.
With quiet steps, you packed up your things and slipped away for another bounty hunt.
Phainon woke up moments after you left, feeling strangely refreshed, an unfamiliar clarity settling in his mind. He had never slept so well before. Something about you soothed him, and he needed to know why.
Later that day, he stood at an information booth, gathering any details he could about you. The thought of your absence sent an unshakable emptiness through him. He needed to find you.
Meanwhile, your bounty hunt led you to a hidden dungeon, one far more treacherous than you expected. Your body ached, your movements sluggish as you struggled against relentless monsters. Just when you thought your strength had run dry, a monstrous foe loomed over you, ready to strike the final blow.
A single, devastating strike obliterated the creature before it could touch you.
Phainon stood before you, bathed in a strange aura, his presence suffocating. His normally cool blue eyes glowed with something dark and unreadable.
"Even godlike creatures can bleed huh..." he murmured, voice like a whisper of death.
You stared, shaken by the raw brutality in his movements. This was no ordinary elf.
"What… are you?" you rasped, your wounds stinging.
He smiled, sharp and knowing. "You bring me peace. I wanted to test that."
Your heart pounded as realization dawned. You were an experiment to him.
Despite your fear, you reached into your pouch, pulling out a small vial of temporary medicine. "Drink this" you ordered, tossing it to him. "We’ll talk after you stop looking like a vengeful god."
To your relief, he complied, downing the liquid in one swift motion. As his aura dimmed, you grabbed his wrist, dragging him along despite your own injuries.
"Come on" you muttered. "You saved me. Now let’s get out of here before you go berserk again."
Later that night, after patching up your wounds and sharing a proper meal, you finally had a real conversation. Phainon was still his usual smug self, but for once, he wasn’t avoiding direct questions. Despite that, when you firmly refused to let him follow you as a partner, his expression darkened.
"You’re better off without me tagging along" you said. "Go find your own adventure."
Phainon smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. "If that’s what you want."
You should have known better.
Even as you continued your travels, it was obvious someone was tailing you. As a hunter, you were attuned to being watched. Coins mysteriously appeared in your belongings. Pathways that should have been riddled with monsters were eerily clear. Every time you set up camp, you had the sense that someone had passed through before you. You ignored it, pretending not to notice.
Then one evening, you found him curled up near your campsite, face pale, breath labored.
You cursed under your breath. "You’re faking it."
Phainon groaned weakly. "Am I?" His eyes fluttered shut dramatically.
You sighed, dragging him closer to the fire. "Fine. Just for tonight."
As you tended to him, you finally asked "What’s your deal, really?"
Phainon smirked faintly, his voice softer than usual. "That depends. What do you want to know?"
He spoke in riddles, half-answering, half-evading. The past he revealed was fragmented, a puzzle missing its most vital pieces. He let slip details about powerful magic, about a home long abandoned, but when pressed for more, he simply smiled and changed the subject.
You should have been frustrated. But somehow, against your better judgment, you found yourself listening intently, watching the way the firelight reflected in his blue eyes.
For just one night, you allowed yourself to be curious.
Days passed, and despite your efforts to shake him off, Phainon continued his silent pursuit. You should have been annoyed, but a small part of you had grown used to his presence.
Then came the dragon.
An SSS-ranked beast, towering and relentless. Despite your skill, you were outmatched, forced to retreat as it bore down upon you. A sharp pain burned against your wrist, and in the chaos, you heard Phainon's voice.
"Now, call upon it!"
You didn’t understand, until your body moved on its own. A sigil, glowing and intricate, flared to life on your skin. Magic you had never wielded before surged through you, your blade carving through the dragon with inhuman precision. In mere moments, the once-impossible battle was over.
Panting, you turned to Phainon, who looked far too satisfied. "What… what did you do?!"
He approached, smirking. "Oh, nothing much. Just a little contract magic. You’re my partner now."
Horror settled in your chest. "You tricked me."
He tilted his head playfully. "You activated it yourself. That makes it binding."
You clenched your fists, resisting the urge to strangle him. Whatever this was, you needed to figure out how to break it.
Later that night, as Phainon slept soundly, you saw your chance. Quietly, you slipped away from the camp, making your way to the nearest information booth. Your heart pounded as you inquired about the strange sigil now marking your skin and about Phainon himself.
The answers you received chilled you to the core.
Whispers of ancient magic, forbidden contracts, and a bloodstained past surrounded his name. The sigil you bore was no ordinary mark, it was a binding far more dangerous than you had realized.
Before you could process it fully, a shadow loomed over you.
"I was hoping you'd trust me more than this" Phainon's voice was deceptively soft, yet his presence was suffocating. "Did you find what you were looking for?"
Desperation clawed at your throat. Your fingers twitched toward your weapon, but you knew it was useless. Instead, you took a slow breath and did the only thing that came to mind.
You pulled out your dagger and pressed the tip against your own skin. "Don't come any closer. I'll-"
Phainon's expression changed instantly. His amusement vanished, replaced by something raw, something you didn’t expect.
"DON'T" he said, his voice unusually strained. "You can hurt me, but don’t do that to yourself."
You hesitated. The way he said it like he had seen this before, like he had lived through it, unsettled you more than his usual antics. There was something haunted in his eyes, something broken beneath his smirk.
Still, he didn’t remove the sigil. Instead, he took a slow step forward, hands raised as if approaching a wounded animal. "Listen to me, Y/n. I can't undo it. Not yet. But I can make you accept it."
His voice was gentle, persuasive. He didn't plead, didn't force, but something in his tone wormed its way under your skin. Because despite everything, despite the lies and the trickery, you realized something terrifying.
You did feel calmer around him. Your presence soothed his mind, but was it possible that his presence had started to soothe yours, too?
You swallowed hard, lowering the dagger just slightly. "How?"
He smiled, not victorious, but relieved. "Let me show you."
He reached out slowly, his touch feather light as his fingers brushed against your wrist, just above the glowing sigil. Warmth seeped through your skin, not just from his magic, but from the steady reassurance in his gaze. "You're not alone in this, Y/n. I understand your fear. But this bond.. it's not a prison. It's protection."
You wanted to argue, to pull away, but something about the way he spoke made your resolve waver. The exhaustion from fighting, from running, from resisting, it all weighed heavily on your shoulders. Would it be so bad to surrender, just a little?
He stepped closer, his presence wrapping around you like an unseen force. "You’ve been alone for so long, haven’t you? Always fighting, always struggling. You don’t have to do that anymore. With me, you’ll never have to be alone again."
He was right. You had spent your life surviving, but never truly living. The warmth in his voice, the certainty in his promise, it was tempting.
Phainon tilted his head, watching you with a knowing smile. "Say it. Accept it. You already feel it, don’t you? The connection between us."
The words came unbidden, barely a whisper. "I... accept it."
The sigil flared brightly for a brief moment before settling, the magic no longer a foreign force but something familiar, something… comforting. A sense of belonging, of purpose, filled the void you had ignored for so long.
Phainon exhaled softly, his smile deepening as he cupped your cheek. "Good. Now, let’s go home."

“𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐦”
Tumblr media
a/n: i read rage bait instead of click bait after writing everything, but decided to keep it since it’s still fitting 😭
ft. isagi yoichi, itoshi rin, kaiser michael, itoshi sae, shidou ryusei, nagi seishiro, mikage reo, karasu tabito
isagi yoichi
“you’re literally smarter than me, so why are you fighting with an anime profile picture?”
you’re writing a full essay in the comments under a rage bait post that says “math is fake and only lazy people like numbers.”
“love. they want you to argue. that’s the whole point. it’s bait.”
you, while typing aggressively: “it’s the principle.”
isagi literally has to pry the phone out of your hands.
“they’re trolling. why are you citing academic sources in a thread about flat earth?”
alternates between being impressed and deeply concerned.
“you’re so smart it’s scary. and yet, you just fell for a post that said ‘gravity is a scam made by the big ladder.’”
will still throw slurs under his fake account at anyone that tries to come after you.
itoshi rin
“get off the internet. log off. i’m blocking you from twitter.”
you: reading a post that says “the mitochondria isn’t real.”
also you: seeing red.
he watches you scroll past rage bait like, “no... don't take the bait... dammit.”
“you know better. you literally know better.”
gets mad with you but refuses to engage.
he’s just staring at you spiraling over a troll who said “logic is fake” and muttering, “wtf is wrong with this generation.”
turns off your wifi like a concerned parent.
“you’re not arguing with someone named @cattboysupreme69. go read a book.”
kaiser michael
“you’re falling for rage bait again, huh? i love this dumb little hobby of yours.”
finds it hilarious that you get so fired up over random garbage takes.
literally records you pacing and ranting about how “emotions are valid sources of decision making, actually.”
“schatz, you’re a valedictorian. why are you beefing with someone who said ‘plants don’t have feelings so vegans are evil’?”
fully encourages it for fun.
“no, no, quote them. let’s go viral.”
brags to his teammates like, “my girl’s a genius and also beefing with half of conspiracy tik tok. goals.”
secretly reports every troll you argue with behind the scenes. he’s protective in a petty, passive-aggressive way.
itoshi sae
“this is why i hate people. and also why you shouldn’t be online unsupervised.”
you fell into a rage trap that said “women don’t belong in STEM.”
sae, watching you rage-type a dissertation just said, “block them and move on.”
you: “no. they need to be educated.”
he takes your phone.
“they don’t. they have 12 followers and use comic sans unironically.”
quietly annoyed but impressed that you always come with facts.
lowkey reads your arguments later and thinks, “damn. my girl snapped.”
would absolutely start threatening people if they get too bold with you.
“she might be arguing like it’s a thesis defense, but if any of you make her cry, i’m breaking your nose.”
shidou ryusei
“babe, you’re smart as hell, but you’re also fighting with rage bait like it personally insulted your dog.”
thinks it’s hilarious.
“they said books are just dead trees. you really gonna let that slide?”
you: frothing with rage “i will not let that slide.”
shidou: eating popcorn and hyping you up “go off, professor! educate their ass!”
he will 100% jump in and start trolling with you.
“yo, babe, say something about their spelling. that always pisses ‘em off.”
gives you an award when you get someone to delete their comment.
“queen behavior. love that for you.”
nagi seishiro
“can we not. like ever. please.”
the most done every time you scream: “WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE SUN ISN’T A STAR AND IT’S A PLANET?!”
he just wants to play games, not watch you get into a 14-comment back-and-forth with a dude named @trumpfan420.
“you’re literally a genius. why are you arguing with people who think australia doesn’t exist?”
lies on your lap and sighs dramatically.
“you’re lucky you’re cute when you’re mad.”
secretly proud of how well you school people, though.
once tried to help you argue but got bored after one sentence.
“i told them ‘L’ and left.”
mikage reo
“you’re academically brilliant. and also very online. it’s like watching an intellectual gladiator fight trolls.”
every time he hears “REO. THEY SAID SHAKESPEARE WAS MID.” he already knows what’s happening.
you’re pacing around the house, typing furiously, quoting sonnets and throwing in stats.
“you’re smarter than the entire room but still letting a 14-year-old with a controversial hot take ruin your night.”
he makes tea and sits beside you while you rage.
“need a bibliography link, baby?”
lowkey brags to others: “yeah my girl just flamed a whole subreddit with APA formatting.”
you’re his little chaos genius and he loves it.
“you’re going to be a nobel prize winner and twitter’s most feared debater at the same time.”
karasu tabito
“you’re out here fighting for your life against rage bait and i’m living for it.”
watches you with popcorn like it’s live TV.
“ohhh here they go. someone said philosophy is just overpriced poetry. let’s gooo.”
he fully instigates sometimes.
“babe, someone said gravity isn’t real. thoughts?”
you start ranting, and he just grins like an agent of chaos.
“why are you like this?”
“why are you like this?”
says he’ll block the trolls for you. ends up ratioing them with memes instead.
y’all are the duo that trolls the trolls and then drops a full essay for fun.
if anyone dares say “women can’t argue,” karasu just goes, “you sure about that?” and lets you annihilate them in 5k characters.
