Y'all. Dick is not a people pleaser. Idk where that came from when reading Dick's comics is basically an exercise in watching his eyes glaze over as someone begs him not to do something crazy because in his mind he's already done it. Like, yes, Dick is very empathetic loves helping others but in the same way your dentist does.
