Saw this video on Reddit today of a trans man debating Ben Shapiro re: abortion and trans rights (very based and poggers and managed to shut Benny Boy up which is impressive) (actually I have some quibbles with the trans guy's argument as well but that's neither here nor there)
So I take a looksie at the comments, right? And for SOME FUCKING REASON, there are MULTIPLE people in the comments going "Wow, he totally owned him, but he also missed the opportunity to bring up bathroom bills and ask Ben if he really wanted a manly-looking masculine man like him in the women's room with little girls!"
YOU. PEOPLE. NEED. TO. STOP. If I hear this "gotcha" one more time I am going to retreat into the ocean and become a cuttlefish ffs.

#all my recent catcher in the rye talk made me want to reread it and i cried ! just now! chapter 5#'all the talk' i say and it was only 1 person who commented to ask of it was an easy read haha#but my reply was long so it feels like i've been talking about it a lot#anyway i really love it so much! i wish i could lend my brain to people who don't fw it so they would feel what i feel#i burst into tears reading that part in which holden starts talking about his brother allie#i hate that it's suddenly so hip to hate on this book#no no i bet it's always had its haters#so anyway since i had to pause because i started crying i was googling some things about it and came across a reddit post saying it is -#overrated and naturally i clicked the link and everyone there agrees and their main argument is#'you have to be a certain age to RELATE (there's that wretched word again!) to holden'#and 'if you read it when you're an adult you understand he's such an annoying edgy kid'#and other awful takes such as holden being a sigma male 😐🔫#you really have to be some sort of dumbass!!#i don't mean you're a dumbass if you don't like the book. i mean dumbass if you have a stupid reason to dislike it. like those#what's up with this obsession with 'relatable' characters or 'likeable' characters 😐#and the selective reading? so many people questioning holden's mental illness and saying he was just an annoying teenager#like? read a little between the lines pls! he says his brother is dead so casually!!! but it's so obvious he's not coping with that loss#or anything else#anyway. such a polarizing book 🧘🏻♀️ nobody is neutral about it. they either hate it or love it#@ people who don't like tcitr pls at least read franny and zooey by salinger#and if you also don't like that one then fuck off 🧘🏻♀️

#venting about wnba reddit again#someone made predictions saying the merc aren't going to make playoffs#bc of roster construction slash isbia slash suns issues etc#and while i could see things going sideways 100%#I think they are in decent hands#i think defense has mostly improved#they have improved their size#and they have some really underrated people coming in on training camp/rookie contracts#lastly nate mostly knows what he's doing#and i think people forget about kt on staff#something like half the teams in the w changed coaches or got coaches who have never been in the league before#not the mercury#you forget we were basically never healthy i think the number was 11 games with the intended starting 5#where we went 7-4#and we still made playoffs#i think the sun and the wings flip in terms of making playoffs maybe#but other than that things are pretty much the same#i also have some hot takes about who i think is going to make the merc roster#maybe i will speak on that later#again i do have concerns about for instance who is actually running point and doing ball handling after what i've seen in unrivaled#some other things based on what i've seen in unrivaled#yes the roster construction is unbalanced in terms of salary and expereince#but i really think nate and the coaching staff have a way of getting the best out of people

i've been blocking and reporting these bots that coming in every 5 minutes since morning that i think my follower count just broke
#personal#if anyone still interested on my weird influx of almost 1k bots i keep getting since last night#since staff is useless i went on reddit and found few posts from A MONTH ago#and one person told me who has the same shit going like me that it's never been fixed :))) GREAAAAAAT#and then they just gave up on reporting/blocking them#i guess i can also give up but i don't want to see weirdly getting almost 1k bots as followers and not seeing at least one real person#i really don't know what to do about this and it makes me so anxious#i've been on this site for a decade and the bot problem was always here but shit like that has never happened to me before#do i bother staff again? they gonna throw me another ai response#and then a real person taking its sweet time just to reply back with lol we don't know 🤷♀️

I'm pretty sure the prescription low-fat food the vet put my dog on has been the culprit of her super bad diarrhea & awful room-clearing farts for the last 2 months. Because as it turns out, the company just changed their recipe earlier this year and added probiotics to it :)
#it's like she initially got better after the whole treat fiasco in december & was doing really well on the food at the start of it#but then it's been horrible diarrhea & gas since the beginning of march and i am so god damn sick of wiping her ass lol#we initially thought it was from the heart worm and flea & tick medications b/c that was when the vet told us to try them again#like wow that treat really fucked her up that bad huh. so we've been extremely careful to *only* give her the prescription food#but this diarrhea & gas has not been getting any better and it's now the end of april so wtf is going on#the vet's just like 'keep doing what you're doing' but yeah no sorry there's something else happening#we finally ended up googling the food just to see that they changed the recipe & found reddit posts + chewy reviews#of people having the same issue with their dogs after eating it or that their dogs just won't eat it at all#and yeah pepper hasn't been wanting to eat it but i've been mixing it w/ prescription canned stew to make her :/#it's hills science diet btw. we've been giving her the i/d low fat but there's reviews saying the diarrhea happens w/ other kinds of it too#soooooo we're gonna switch her back to the regular food we'd been giving her for her entire life & see how she does#p
