one more poll! (if you don't use twitter, please do let me know your preference here by replying or sending a message)
"maritime history" won the last theme poll and "october/november" won the schedule poll, but since "horror/monsters" and "i'm all booked til 2023" were close behind, i wanted to do a follow-up.
based on the earlier format poll, we're going to have a posting period (all through november probably) in which everyone posts their own zines at their leisure. at the end i'll still gather all the printable files and make them available to download, and put up another gallery page here. a new resource list and prompt generator will go up in october, but as soon as the next theme is decided you are of course welcome to start working on your zines!
(stumbled across this post and not sure wtf it is? here's the info post for the first zinebash and the gallery of mini zines made for it)
#IDEALLY if we are all still having fun and there's nothing else in life interfering#i'd like to do 3 of these next year#march-ish july-ish and november-ish#can always revisit themes and tweak the format as desired#zines#zinesters#zinebash#mini zine

Please be extra careful until your protective gear arrives, I'd hate to hear you've injured yourself 🥺 Anyways, hope you have fun with your roller skates (always stay safe though)! 🥰
Here comes a short drabble with your three words! This one’s gonna be a little different though - no OCs and not for the Resident Evil fandom, but rather the How To Get Away With Murder fandom, more specifically - for my favorite relatioship/characters on the show! Hope you enjoy!
All my love, Vy 💌

Laurel Castillo x Frank Delfino (How To Get Away With Murder - AU: Canon Divergence; AU where the characters tolerate each other XD)
Warnings: Slight spoilers (Nothing too major though), Swearing
Laurel runs a hand through Chris’ curly hair, admiring how peaceful he looks now that he’s finally asleep. He’s got a fever that’s been giving him crying fits for two days now. Having to deal with a sick two-year-old while simultaneously trying to keep up with work and her final studies has been exhausting to no end. She’s been receiving some help from Michaela who seems utterly desperate to keep herself busy at all times, even when she’s supposed to be relaxing just so her mind doesn’t spiral into the void of loneliness she’s fallen victim to as of recent. Connor and Ollie have babysat for her a few times as well, another gesture she’s incredibly grateful for. Asher has offered to look after the toddler too on numerous occasions but that’s one offer Laurel’s never taken up. She appreciates him offering her his help, but everyone would justify this action of hers considering how reckless Asher can be at times - aka 90% of the time.
The Keating 5 has come through for her when it comes to both looking after Chris and keeping up with her studies, proving their friendship to be one of those rare ones. However, Keating 5 aside, she’s received the most amount of help from one particular person. Someone who’s prepared to turn up at her doorstep at three in the morning if she needs him.
Frank Delfino
The two had a rocky start, to say the least. Their on-again-off-again relationship as colleagues with benefits. Their constant back and fourth. Then came Frank’s disappearance and Laurel’s involvement with Wes, all occurrences blowing huge holes not only in their romantic relationship but also their friendship which has always been a second away from ceasing to exist, all things considered. Friendship is hard to maintain with such a strong, hypnotic and magnetic romantic connection. Some people just weren’t meant to be friends, ever. Frank and Laurel are among them.
Speaking of Frank, the man’s been rather concerned lately, the lack of calls and messages from Laurel worrying him more with each passing day. He overheard Michaela mention Chris’ fever in passing conversation with Asher when she was bailing on a date with the excuse of helping Laurel look after the sick toddler. He’d been surprised to hear that, initially thinking it was a cheap excuse of Michaela’s to avoid spending time with Asher considering things between them have grown sort of complicated. But when Connor confirmed this claim of hers, Frank couldn’t help but grow very concerned. He’s grown used to knowing what’s going on with Chris and Laurel before everyone else so having someone else be in the know while he was kept in the dark made him feel oddly jealous and hurt.
And he could only hold his worries and assumptions at bay so long...
Responding to the knock at the door, knowing who it probably is at this hour, Laurel contemplates whether opening the door would be the right thing to do. She’s double-checked that it is indeed him, that bringing her more uncertainty than comfort, oddly enough. She’s been doing her best to distance herself from him and his life for quite a while now. She’s been meaning to give him an opportunity at a normal life, away from her mess and chaos. She’s been wanting to give him an escape from the fiasco she always finds herself dragging him into.
But he still comes back to her, by his own choice.
“Laurel, it’s me.“ His coarse voice reaches her from the other side of the door.
“Yeah...“ She trails off, forcing her hand up to turn the lock, “...I know.“
Opening the door reveals the concern on his face a lot better than she saw through the peephole. It makes her heart swell up and all she wants to do is throw her arms around him in a tight embrace. But she can’t do that, she won’t. She’s not willing to give him any reason to hold onto her whatsoever. In her eyes, he deserves a lot better. And maybe he does, but he doesn’t want anything or anyone better.
“Hey...“ he mutters, unsure of how to start of the interaction. Things have never been easy between them and, looking back, it seems like they’ve only gotten harder. Somehow, their connection has only grown stronger though. A connection he wants to uphold and a connection she wants to sever.
“Hey...What are you doing here so late?“ Ok, that’s a sustainable question considering it’s 10PM, but then again he’s come to her apartment at odder hours. Only difference is, those other times, she called him over.
“Though I’d check on you. You’ve been rather dead with calls and texts recently. Also missed Chris, heard he had a fever so I got worried.“ She hears the undertone of accusation in his voice loud and clear. It makes her bite her lip with guilt she wishes she wasn’t feeling, especially when she’s supposed to be doing the right thing.
You can’t decide for him. If he wants to keep coming back, that’s on him.
That thought hasn’t crossed her mind yet. It almost feels like she’s letting herself off the hook, feeding into the temptation to embrace what her and Frank have.
“You hungry?“ Now that is a bit more out-of-place question, but it’s accompanied by her taking a step back to allow him inside, “I ordered Thai food I never got to finish.“
He follows the signal, growing a bit more hopeful now that she’s let him in the apartment, thinking maybe she isn’t avoiding him after all. “Loss of appetite?”
“Partly.“ She replies, hearing the click of Frank locking the front door before following her in the kitchen where the hanging lights are dimmed. “Chris was throwing a fuss all day, I couldn’t really do much but focus on him.“ She motions to the living room where the coffee table is littered with sheets of paper and highlighters, some of which have found a spot on the floor as well. “Not to mention the ton of crap I need to do for school and work.“
“Would’ve been a lot easier on you had you called me, you know?“ He comments, walking over to the fridge, taking out the two packs of Thai takeout, suggesting she had been expecting him. She wasn’t really, she was just quietly hoping he’d show up at her doorstep.
“Didn’t wanna bother you. It’s nothing serious, a simple cold, I can handle it.“ She replies, approaching the small vintage radio in the corner of the kitchen counter, turning it on to a quiet volume so some tunes could fill the silences that are bound to occur frequently with the amount of tension between them.
“You could never bother me, Laurel. I’ve told you countless times before...“ putting the food he’s now moved onto a large plate into the microwave and turning the machine on, he turns to look at her, “I love Chris like he’s my son. In my eyes, he is my son and I love him with all my heart. Just like I love you.“
Instead of allowing the deafening quiet to take over them again - the soft music from the radio aside - Laurel lets the loudness of her mind surface. She lets it seep through the barriers she built in order to protect herself and protect everyone around her from herself: “Do you never stop to think you deserve better, Frank? Better than some grown-ass woman with her life in shambles and a kid whose father’s dead. Do you not think you deserve someone who knows what they want and where they’re headed with their life? Someone who...” her confidence is slowly leaving her to fend for herself and so she does, the best she can. “Someone who can cook and do their projects and work and take care of her son simultaneously. Someone better, Frank! Do you never want someone better?”
She hadn’t realized her eyes had been darting all over the place, looking everywhere but at him. How that her gaze has once again landed on his face, she feels her stomach turn at what she sees. That concerned, hurt and disappointed frown only further fuels her guilt, making her wish she’d never opened the door in the first place.
“Laurel, where’s this all coming from? Did Bonnie say something to you cause if she did...“ she cuts him off.
“No, she didn’t. I’ve been thinking about it for a while now actually. All I am to you is trouble and a burden and...“ he gets back at her, cutting her off himself.
“And you’re none of those things, Laurel. Your view of yourself is interfering with your perception of this, of us, of what we have. You and Chris are my family. The family I choose. It’s not about deserve or idealism - it’s about what brings you joy and makes you feel complete. What and who makes you feel at home. Who is your home.“ Always cautious of her personal space, Frank takes a hesitant step towards her and another when she doesn’t back away. “Lord knows it’s no paradise, but what we have is special, Laurel, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in this world.“
Against her best attempts at keeping her emotions at bay, Laurel feels her eyes brimming with tears as she gazes up at the man she’s never been in the clear with. She never realizes what he means to her until it’s too late. She only realized she loved him when he disappeared. She only realized he meant the world to her when he had already slipped from her grip. And she refuses to continue that pattern.
Instead, she’ll work on finding out what they are exactly and even if she doesn’t reach that epiphany, she’ll still embrace it, no matter the oddity and unfamiliarity of it all.
“Thank you.“ she manages to whisper past the knot in her throat.
“Don’t thank me, you should never thank me for the things I do for you or Chris. I choose to do them. I choose to be here. I choose you because I want you. You and no one else, Laurel.“
Just then, the microwave beeps, alerting the two that their close-to-midnight meal is warmed up. Taking the plate out and placing it on the counter to cool down a little, he turns to her with a small smile on his face, “Let’s see what’s so troubling about that project of yours, shall we?”
And just like that, the tension has lifted, allowing for a smile to appear on her face as well. That ease of the mind is not something she’s been very used to throughout her life, constantly having shit to worry about and people to deal with. That’s why she’s never wanted to be a burden on someone’s back. She’s never wanted to be a major part in someone’s life, at least not until she gets her shit together.
And although she might never get her shit together, she’s got someone she loves and someone who loves her by her side. Lord knows he hasn’t been on top of his own shit either. At least they’ll be figuring it all out together.

1 2 3 drink (M)

Note: this was suppose to be like an attempted BJ fic but it turned into an actual one ??? help ? this highkey wasn’t suppose to be an M Oneshot but here we go.
Also I should probably say right now 8th Member series isn’t in chronological order so this takes place before both previous oneshots.
Pairing: Platonic!Namjoon/8thM!Reader, romantic implied!Jungkook/Reader
Tags: Blow job, hand job, male receiving, slight hair pulling, Sub!Namjoon
Plot: In which Namjoon has to babysit you after one too many drinks.
Word count: 3996 this was suppose to be a drabble x)
-
Namjoon sighed exasperated, the poor guy never seemed to catch a break and today was not an exception as he cringed inwardly. Watching you throw your head back downing another shot of tequila, your fourth shot of tequila to be exact. How could someone so small hold so much alcohol? You were arguably the most heavy drinker out of Bangtan constantly “looking for a good time” but more times then less you found trouble before you found anything remotely fun.
Maybe it was because you were one of the youngest members, or maybe it was because you always went hard on drinking. Namjoon wasn’t quite sure anymore and frankly it was too mentally taxing to figure out why you did it so much. If there was any sort of ulterior motive or underlying reason you hid it incredibly well. Watching you smack the countertop with a loud laugh Namjoon had the distinct feeling it most likely was because you just genuinely enjoyed drinking.
Raising your hand lazily to ask for another shot, Namjoon’s view of you was suddenly blocked by the familiar black hair of his elder. Seokjin turned to look at you before looking back at Namjoon, “Guess you could say she’s pretty shot huh?” He suddenly laughed that loud- as Jungkook often teased- wind shield wiper laugh at his own, in Namjoon’s humble opinion brain dead dumb joke. Pulling his lips into a harsh fake smile that made Seokjin laugh even laugher. Finally patting the younger’s shoulder as his laughter calmed down, looking amused at his suffering before finally offering consolation, “I can watch her tonight if you want.”
Namjoon was half tempted by the idea, all you had done was slur for the last half hour on how Naruto and Sasuke would always be superior to Naruto and Sakura before slumping in your seat. Taking another shot before saying something else incomprehensible. You were an honest drunk, a funny and incredibly honest one. But you were also someone who gave way too much information. One moment you were talking about Naruto and the next you were babbling about being between Red Velvet, Irene’s legs during the after party of an award show. Zero to sixty real fast.
Sighing Namjoon peered over Seokjin’s shoulder before shaking his head, it was his turn to babysit you tonight and he wouldn’t bow out now, despite how tempting it was, “It’s fine. You should go ahead and take Jimin home, he’s been slumped in the corner crying for the past fifteen minutes about what if ‘dogs only dream about their owners since that’s all they know’.”
As if on cue they both heard a whimper, turning around they watched fat crocodile tears rolls down Jimin’s cheek as he cuddled against Jungkook, who sat indifferencely on his phone looking bored and ready to leave, just as he had been for the past 45 minutes , “Kookie listen-“ he sobbed out, “Kookie! It only makes sense, dogs only know their owners-“ he suddenly hiccuped before bursting into a new set of tears, “Humans are so mean! We d-don’t deserve them.”
“Mhm.” Jungkook replied, not looking invested in the least at his elders drunk babbling as he continued typing with both hands, not bothering to look up at his elder that continued to hug against his arm crying. Taehyung had been sitting across from them letting out a loud obnoxious laugh, one Namjoon was surprised the other drinkers hadn’t come to knock him out yet for being so loud, “Don’t listen to him Jiminie,” Taehyung practically cooed out coaxing him on with a shit eating grin on his face, pulling out his phone to video it, “There’s no other explanation.”
Namjoon was positive he would’ve gotten up but he had been strapped to his seat on the couch. Where Hoseok, who had long sense passed out laid sprawl across his lap, having the lowest alcohol tolerance in the group he had inevitably fell asleep after his fourth beer, why did they even go out drinking? Nobody seemed to be able to handle their liquor, and even the ones that did never bothered to limit themselves to be sober by the end of the night. It would’ve been nice if Yoongi had atleast entertained the idea rather then promptly saying ‘No’ before shutting the door to his studio.
Shrugging Seokjin got up, putting a hand on the youngers shoulder as he replied, “Good luck, we all know how handsy she gets after so many shots.” They gave you one last look, you had currently been chugging a whole bottle of beer due to boasting to the bartender, he had promised a free drink if you could actually chug the whole bottle and naturally with you being so competitive you couldn’t say no, slamming the empty against the countertop before doubling over beside the bottle, putting a hand on your mouth in attempt to keep the substance down. Seokjin parted ways from the leader, walking over to Jimin before bossing Jungkook to carry the near passed out and sniveling drunk that sobbed against him.
Obviously despite being made out of pure muscle Jungkook whined before caving in, he had pressed his lips together taking a glance your way before asking Seokjin something, who shrugged nodding to Namjoon before making way to Hoseok’s collapsed figure. Sighing Jungkook effortlessly threw his elder over his shoulder who didn’t even put up a fight. Jimin dangled over his shoulder like a leftover rag dog as he let his floppy black hair cover his defeated, tear stained face.
Taehyung sighed as well not appreciating the kill joy but helped Seokjin regardless to pull Hoseok up. His head jerking down towards the floor before flopping back up towards the ceiling as he muttered something incoherently in his unconscious state. Watching the doors to the private bar close as Namjoon sighed, pulling out his phone once more while keeping an eye on you, this wasn’t his ideal Saturday night but all the extroverts of the group, including you had wanted to come.
The late evening went by fairly fast and you had slowed down in drinking thank god, nursing the margarita you held for the last half hour, a new record of self restraint. Or more like in attempt to keep yourself from throwing up, it came in very visible phases, your face would pale and you’d shift in your seat before hunching over putting a hand on your mouth, after a few minutes you’d resume your normal position and continue drinking, but regardless you had slowed down. The only thing that didn’t was your voice as you would cheerfully though rather slurred, talk to anyone who was even remotely close to you. Namjoon didn’t think anything of it at first, you were a bubbly person drinking or not.
The alcohol only made you all the more outgoing, not like you needed the extra help but when you started drinking it was always difficult to get you to stop. He had stopped in his tracks though when he noticed a man clad in a three piece suit talking to you, leaning in, smiling while letting his knees brush against yours, he wasn’t an idol definitely, or an actor, which left him to obviously be a business man.
Regardless of status you were absolutely wasted and not in any state to get laid whether you believed it or not. Namjoon instantly stood up, trudging over as he put a hand on your shoulder, making you stumble in sentence as you swerved around, confused as to who interrupted your difficult train of thought, only to suddenly smile again at seeing your elder. Wrapping your arms around his waist as you buried your face in his stomach, “Joonie! (hic) meet my new friend!”
Namjoon glanced down at you before straightening as he glanced up at the stranger unamused, taking advantage of a drunk girl was not something he’d ever approve of, especially when it was from someone who looked like he was in his mid thirties with a wife, judging by the ring on his left finger and most likely had two kids waiting at home, “Nice to meet you,” he gave a forced tight mouthed smile, suddenly hauling you up out of your seat making you stumble towards him with a whine, not understanding why he was handling you so roughly as he continued, “We’ll be going now.”
Swallowing thickly the business man made no attempt to stop him, the pro to his staggering height made him considerably intimidating to anyone who wasn’t in his inner circle of family and friends. You continually whined as Namjoon pulled you along to the door, stumbling out a sentence that suspiciously sounded like, “I (hic) was about to...” trailing off your eyes dilated as if forgetting what you were going to say before suddenly shouting, “To get laid! (hic) why did you- you cockle...” you suddenly giggled out at your last slurred word before repeating it again, “Cockle...”
Namjoon sighed exasperatedly, “It’s almost one in the morning Y/n you already have a hard time sleeping as it is,” being the pragmatic person he was he couldn’t let you continue on at the bar regardless of if someone was hoping to get into your pants or not. Which he wouldn’t have interfered with had you not took over seven shots, three beers and a half drank margarita. With having someone so sexually active in the group it was just easier to let you go about your business without mention of the details or who it was with.
BigHit had put you on birth control the moment you turned legal which said something in its self, but with that being taken care of the only scare of you getting pregnant was put to rest and no one bothered or nagged you about your sex life anymore. But still, nothing good could come out of you getting some while drunk. Even if you wouldn’t regret it in the morning Namjoon not in a million years would risk that. So you sat pouting in the backseat of a taxi beside Namjoon whining about being horny and so close to having it took care of. It was mostly drunken slurs at that point, thankfully even the driver couldn’t make out what you were complaining about.
And Namjoon had ended up tooning it out as well, looking non pulsed until you arrived home. Helping you up the stairs of the building, drunkenly you refused to go to bed stating you wouldn’t sleep anyways. Doubting how true that was Namjoon hadn’t bothered putting up a fight though, when Y/n didn’t want to do something she wasn’t going to do it. Letting you follow him around like a lost puppy until he settled down into his studio in hopes of getting some lyrics written that night. He had been going back and forth between writing a line down when you peered from behind, sitting like a lost puppy behind him, “Joonie?”
He gave a hum in response, not turning to face you but letting you know he was listening, “(hic) why did you stop me from sleeping with that guy?”
Sighing he let his hands drop from the keyboard, swiveling around in his chair to face you, your eyes dark with circles and your cheeks red flushed from alcohol, “You’re drunk Y/n, you didn’t know him. Even if you wanted it- which you wouldn’t have sober trust me- and still even if it was consented, if you changed your mind midway there was a likelihood he wouldn’t listen. Im not going to take that chance when you aren’t sober. Do I need to remind you of what happened back in our debut days?”
Explaining word for word to you as if you were a little school girl, and when you were drunk you were definitely the equivalent of such in demeanor. Teetering between filthy minded and so naively drunk you missed the innuendo, there was never an in between. Licking your lips you thought for a moment before replying, “And what if it was someone I did know? And I did trust?”
Namjoon curved an eyebrow, leaning back in his seat as he shrugged, “I mean if you trusted them then maybe. But that’s still a risk I can’t let you take, not when you’re this drunk.”
You suddenly whined, kicking your legs in your seat childishly before crashing onto the floor, stumbling between his legs as you buried your head into his thigh, “But you wouldn’t do that would you (hic) Joonie?”
Namjoon’s pupils widened as his lips parted, unsure of what to say at the suddenly movement as you continued to nuzzle your nose against his inner thigh, it was a tempting offer but he could in no way, especially let himself do it with you, “Y/n....” he sighed pinching the bridge of his nose, wanting to smack himself from feeling the arousal travel between his legs, “I wouldn’t do that too you. But you don’t know what you actually want right now.”
Whining again you shuffled to get closer into his legs as you looked up at him, big pouty lips and puppy eyes to match as you fumbled out, “I-I...” You furrowed your brows, as if trying to figure out how to speak, “Just want a dick right now, I don’t really care if it’s yours Joonie (hic)-“ you suddenly hiccuped again before looking down at his clothed members, which had been frustratedly hardening at your words much to his disproval, “I’d say the same thing if you were (hic) sober- me I mean if I was s- (hic).” You had the case of hiccups now, causing you to wrinkle your nose in frustration at the phenomenon that continually cut off your speech.
Gritting his teeth Namjoon could feel a vein popping out from his neck in self restraint, “Why don’t you just go see Jungkook? You like him don’t you?”
You frowned while giving another hiccup, “B-but his room is all the way upstairs (hic). And you know I’m not (hic) good with feelings.”
Namjoon parted his lips, raising his eyebrows in almost disbelief, did you just confess you actually liked the maknae? Sure the elder line had teased you about it but you had never crumbed to their curiosity, until now atleast.
Whimpering you didn’t seem to notice his expression as you rubbed your nose against his thigh again, “P-please? If you’re so concerned about me not consenting then atleast let me suck you off.”
Namjoon suddenly jolted in his seat, feeling your hand suddenly squeeze his clothed members pumping his base, making him grab the armrests of his chair tightly. You suddenly stopped as you frowned looking as though something had just occurred to you with parted lips, “(hic) unless you don’t want too....”
“No!” Namjoon stumbled out a little bit louder then he would’ve liked too, quickly constraining his voice has he tightly closed his eyes murmuring, “Fuck...Fine I’ll let you, but no more outside of touching got it?”
Nodding you eagerly grinned, something innocent that should not have been on your lips as you squeezed his hardening length again, stroking it from the base all the way to the tip as your lips parted in awe, “You feel so big.”
Attempting to keep himself from bucking into your hand Namjoon closed his eyes. Feeling his face become hot at your words as you more then happily continued to stroke and pump his clothed length, finally licking your lips as you looked up at him, “C-can I take it out?”
It was hard to say no to your doe eyes and parted lips, tongue peeking out as if ready to be beg if necessary, running a hand through his hair he nodded. Not trusting his lips or his hands to be anywhere else as you excitedly pulled down his sweats and boxers. Letting his hardened cock spring free. The angry red tip that oozed of pre cum was more then enough to make you rub your thighs furiously in hopes of getting friction.
Gripping the base you slowly gave a few pumps, squeezing his shaft tighter as you stopped at the mid point. Gauging his reaction you watched Namjoon freeze, his body tense and his eyes closed in trance, his head hung back looking as though he enjoyed every moment that also felt like utter agony before suddenly bucking against your hand impatiently.
Making the base of his cock reach your grip before sliding all the way back down to his tip. Finally cracking he let out a shaky moan with parted lips as you smiled coaxingly, “Go ahead, you can buck into my hand, I know it feels good.” You had practically purred it out half lidded as his hips obediently bucked into your hand. Switching between a tight grip at the base of his cock before letting it soften at the tip. Feeling him strain beneath you, muscles clenching and relaxing repeatedly from being edged so close to his orgasm.
You sighed, watching as his hips sloppily thrusting into your hand faster, his cock twitching and pulsing as his released came closer and closer, “You don’t get to cum without my say,” You pouted sighing once more, almost tsking at his over eagerness leaving you no choice but to abruptly let go of his dick, making him shakily whimper as he cracked his eyes open. Watching as you shrugged casually, almost looking more sober then you had all night as you continued, “My hands, my rules, understood?”
Namjoon bit his lip looking towards his cock, which stood up eager to be used again and desperately waiting to release, nodding he still couldn’t speak. Unable to in this situation, Sure you had slept with some of the younger members. But the older ones? He didn’t think you were honestly interested, he was obviously wrong in his assessment as you regripped his cock, flattening your tongue on the mid of his shaft before letting your wet muscle slide up to his tip. Swearing Namjoon clenched the armrests of his chairs again, he didn’t realize you were so dominant until you huffed looking up at him again sternly, “Remember, no cumming until I say so.”
Namjoon quickly nodded, wanting your tongue back against him as soon as possible. Complying you gently pumped the base of his cock while letting your tongue drag back up against his shaft. Hearing him twist and moan beneath you as a smirk curled onto your lips, “Eyes on me okay?” You murmured. Watching him obediently look at you. Keeping his gaze you opened your mouth as you began to suck his tip, making him attempt to buck against your mouth. He was extremely big, just his tip stretched your mouth, making you sigh as you retracted away from his thrust, “You’re so big...It’ll be difficult to deepthroat you but I think I can do it.”
He suddenly bucked harshly against your hand that squeezed his cock, wishing you had a firmer grip as he finally whimpered out, “Please Y/n, I can’t last much longer.”
Curving an eyebrow you laughed, “Yes you can, you will.” You’re voice didn’t leave room for debate as you began to lick the precum from his tip making him give another whimper while moaning, attempting to thrust into your mouth as you felt his cock twitch in excitement. So close but not enough for you.
Finally giving in you began to pump his base faster, taking in his tip before hollowing your cheeks. Letting him fill your mouth as his cock painfully stretched your mouth. You hadn’t even gotten half way down his shaft when you felt his tip hit the back of your throat.
His cock continuously pulsed and he began to moan repetitively trying to keep his body from twisting and withering as his knuckles turned white from clenching, “Please!”
Taking him all the way down your throat you began to bob your head obviously enjoying his begging. Noting he wouldn’t last much longer you lifted your mouth from him as you looked up, pausing for a second as he withered beneath you, “What are you waiting for? Use my mouth to cum.”
You could barely laugh as you felt a large hand suddenly grab your hair, knotting it tightly as you felt your mouth forced back against his cock. Standing up hurriedly he suddenly slammed himself in and out of you.
His size making tears that already stung your eyes began to stream down your face at the raw burning in your throat as you felt his size painfully squeeze against the tight space. His hips had become erratic and rough as he yanked your hair moaning as he closed his eyes.
Namjoon was so close to his orgasm so, so close. Just a few more thrusts. He quickly picked up the pace, mouth fucking you as rough as he could go. Oblivious to the shuffling outside the door.
“Jesus what’s going- okay nevermind.” Neither of you had bothered to notice Yoongi open the door for a rough estimate of ten seconds before instantly closing it as he sighed, “Seriously?”
Feeling his cock twitch one last time Namjoon gave one last thrust before feeling a string of hot thick liquid slide down your throat.
Lips hanging open as he sighed, slowing down his thrusts until he fully stopped staying there for a moment before letting his softened members out of your mouth. Tear stains streaked your face but you grinned cheekily letting yourself collapse into your back in satisfaction.
“T-thanks.” Namjoon stuttered out, unsure of what to say as he ran a hand through his hair closing his eyes.
He was going to offer to help you out as well but as soon as he opened his eyes he sighed, you were knocked dead out asleep.
---
“Okay but seriously? In his studio?” Seokjin rose an almost judging eyebrow as he mixed his bowl of soup around. Why did you constantly sleep with the other members, did you have some sort of secret pact to get all of them in bed one by one?
Namjoon only groaned as he ran a hand through his hair, looking at you red faced and thoroughly apologetic as memories of the night before came to mind, “Are you sure you’re okay Y/n?”
Raising an eyebrow you gripped your glass of water, sighing at your worried leader before taking in the only other two people at the kitchen table.
You didn’t necessarily regret it, you just wished you had been sober so the poor guy wouldn’t be so worried about you, bless his heart. In fact, you were glad drunken you had blowed him, in your humble opinion he deserved it. Namjoon didn’t ever like talking about it but he had the preconceived notion he was one of the “ugly members” of Bangtan and you wouldn’t stand for that kind of talk or mentality.
Taking a sip of water before replying you kept your eyebrow rose, “Unless you’re referring to my headache the answer is yes, of course I’m fine Namjoon. I don’t really see what the big deal is.” You rubbed your head as if trying to recall last nights events, “I honestly don’t remember half of the blow job. I do remember your size though,” you blew a dramatic breath of air as you laughed, “Not gonna lie that was the biggest di-“
“Okay I’m gonna stop you right there,” Namjoon held up a hand flustered, you had been with a lot of people, so to say his was the biggest was probably the most flustering thing he had ever heard, “Let’s just pretend like you didn’t turn me into a bitch last night, okay?”
Coughing on your water you slapped the table, “Wait you subbed for me!?”
“Y/n!”

26 gorgeous wedding ideas that will completely amaze your guests
Wedding plans may be short-lived for some couples, but sometimes a little extra time for planning is not bad. Wedding trends come and go, but there is one tried and tested style that remains somewhat timeless – country. The word “country” can mean many things to many people, as this is exactly what will translate to your wedding vision? To refine your search, we’ve put together some of the best rustic wedding ideas from real couples that will inspire your own ceremony and reception. Your decision to go to the country can help communicate everything from wedding shower ideas to your honeymoon!
The easiest way to ensure your big day is filled with country spirit is to place it in the bridal wedding venue. But if the location of the barn is impossible, do not despair. You do not need a family farm to create a charming wedding. Haystack seats, lights with lights for masonry and other small details are sure to give you the mood. And let the season affect the decor. Autumn wedding cakes, topped with autumn flowers or apples, are sure to make guests suffocate. No matter where and when you spend the romance, a country wedding is a place where you show off your love for everything rustic and vintage in scenery and style.
How cute is that
Have you ever seen a more perfect wedding cake than this one? We not only go down over the tight-fitting chocolate trim, but the floral decorations (especially sunflowers) only enhance the elegant coziness of the confectionery vibration. Let’s not write a wooden cake stand that complements the coloring of the cake like nothing else.
Add seedlings of color to the barn
Yes, the perfect barn really does exist! This one is at Hammer Sky Vineyards in California. A festive garland of honeycombs in the color palette of the wedding – all that this barn should be ready for the party (well, a ladybug at a party in a ladybug won’t hurt!).
In a good way
Before embarking on your married life with your new husband, allow your loved ones to lay any wedding bills in a vintage suitcase at the reception. Mark the area with a small “map” sign obtained from pieces of heart-shaped burlap.
No rain on my parade
The most ingenious contrasting vase substitute? Mini rain boots that can be used as table decorations for guests, or as an addition to the decor. And you know what they say: rain on your wedding day means good luck. So whatever the weather, let it be a barely noticeable nod to your future.
Fun and festive on the farm
Keep the jewelry simple! Straw bales, draped with cloth or cloth napkins, loose compositions with bright flowers and holiday honeycombs – all you need to start the party.
Message in a bottle
Standard books for wedding guests have brought a little recipe to the pass, with more relatives looking for creative alternatives. Enter a message in the route from the bottles, which can double as a newly decorated house even after the wedding day. Guests have the opportunity to write down their wishes, but this format makes it more enjoyable.
A trip for life
Any young wedding party attendees to walk down the aisle, seek the help of a harbinger to pull them in the village carriage and make sure they still have a radiant moment. The teddy bear with the streamer “Here comes the bride” makes the setting even more convenient for the wedding.
No turning around
Say “I” on your family’s farm? Especially ideal for autumn weddings, the corn maze with decorative hay entrance will delight guests of all ages. Whether it’s the main entertainment during a cocktail hour or you even plan to exchange vows in front of the cornfield itself, nothing can achieve that.
Nature is done
A mason’s jar, pieces of wood, twine and lace: This central part has all the elements needed for a rustic chic wedding. Also, a combo of shorter embellishments means guests can still get confused from behind the table, without any coordinators interfering with their gaze.
Pop out fresh
Bring in a rustic fair atmosphere the old-fashioned popcorn bar. Offer balls with popcorn as well as fresh nipples with various condiments for guests to snack on before taking. You can also send friends and relatives home with an extra bag – because no one can resist an edible wedding service.
Bee mine
Thank you to the wedding guests for coming with an exciting sweet treat – tiny pots of local honey. To ensure that the gifts for the house merge with an attractive village wedding, however, display them on pedestals from village boxes.
Pastoral perfection
The blanket is covered with hay bales, umbrellas, yellow streamers and horses?! It couldn’t be more perfect, especially with the natural passage of dirt and the tree-bound promises.
Circle up
Half a circle of hay bales surround the village altar Saturated with burlap and wooden vines creates an intimate place of rite in the open air – each has a beautiful view of the future bride and groom. This pair covered bales of hay with pieces of old lace and embroidered tablecloths of their grandmothers and aunts to create comfortable places for guests.
I take off my hat
Of course, the flower girl needs to throw the petals out of the cowboy hat while the wearer of the ring gets dressed. Cowboy boots are also a must for both mini wedding participants in addition to colorful accessories.
Love potion
Entertainment click when you have an outdoor beer bar so guests can serve themselves as at this wedding on the ranch, where the groom’s homemade beer was for everyone who could enjoy. Use the labels on the board to give everyone a head up on what kvass they’re sipping, and instead of beer glasses you need to have Mason jars.
Under your spell
The letters of the sketches, hung under lanterns, announce you’re LOVE on this barn wedding, which is magical and simple. It’s also an amazing background photo for guests that can be posted and tagged along with the wedding hashtag.
Happy trails
Give your loved ones a healthy snack with a homemade trail mix bar stocked with nuts, popcorn, pretzels, chocolates and more to fill cellophane bags. For maximum edge work, use barrel sets as the base of the station.
Candy Land
A similarity may be the range of vintage dressers and tables under the wood dessert buffet for each type of sweet tooth. Fill pharmacy jars with candy, top pie stands, wells, pies and layered trays with paws. Use one surface for strokes and lemonade to constantly moisturize guests while dancing under the stars.
Initial exposure
Bring gorgeous bales of hay to the wedding farm to an impressive decor with a flower monogram for Mr. and Mrs.
Site sweet
Lay the groundwork for a festive show, using a wheelbarrow full of soil and seed packs, perfect for an intimate wedding in an apple orchard. Support the hand sign on the rake and put a couple of other farm implements for extra village vibration.
Mix and match
A village wedding in a family barn is the perfect place to overcome the official rules of sitting at a wedding. Mix and match the design and color of the chairs for a home feel; maintain a style, such as back stairs or size, to be purposefully eclectic. Try also to give your dishes the same discrepancy.
Vintage threads
Don’t let Aunt Mae get into the unprepared for the plumbing that she will definitely feel watching you say “I will”. Assemble simple and embroidered porches – anyone before the competition, anyone? – And set a small basket for guests to capture their upcoming “tears of joy”, as in this composition, seen on 100 layers of cake.
Mood
Built-in window frames create an attractive focus for the altar when hanging from a rustic wooden structure. The simple seat installation also looks incredible with the beautiful stretch marks and colors that work in the aisle.
Bar None
Cultivated wood is the main product, and this village bar from Archive Rental proves that it can be raised from a pile of rubbish to style stars. A garland from Chloe + Mint adds country chic. Aside from the dance floor, you can expect it to be the most popular venue.
Farm to become
Who needs fancy floral centerpieces when you can fill rustic wooden boxes with lush farm generosity? As for the dinner menu itself, bonus points for serving any dish on a fresh farm.
Jarring experience
There is no more dreamy way to get married than standing under a tree filled with Masonic pendants hanging from candlesticks, especially at dusk. Such a décor scheme makes a huge statement without spending too much budget on the wedding.

3 Simple Tips For How to be Emotionally Strong? Don’t Do These Things
Before knowing How to be emotionally strong know this: Emotionally strong people do get hurt, but there is a difference.
In 2018, destiny waged war against me. Howling mournful winds didn’t, at all, favor — they didn’t only blow from North, South, East, West but from infinite directions.
That one call during my world history lecture flipped my life.
Carrying horrific news of my father’s sudden demise, that call posed a question — how was I still alive, didn’t even faint.
Reflecting on my current mental state, I can not promise I am a 100% mentally strong person — what I can promise is that I am striving ever since, hard, really hard.
And I qualify the researched traits fully.
Know that you are reading this post not because you desire to become a mentally strong person but because you want what all humans ultimately want: Happiness.
The wave of happiness splashes on mentally strong people frequently.
Why so?
Because instead of passing a judgment, “Life is hard,” mentally strong questions, “Compared to what?”
Yes, losing someone is not easy. Failing is not easy — simply, handling pain isn’t easy.
But something decides being stuck in pain contrary to blossoming from it: the things you “do not do” — more than the things you actually do.
Let’s dive into How to be emotionally strong—the 3 behavior mentally strong people DO NOT adopt:
1. How to be emotionally strong: Do not wear the coat of self-pity
Self-pity is easily the most destructive of non-pharmaceutical narcotics; it is addictive, gives momentary pleasure, and separates the victim from reality.
— JOHN GARDNER
What is self-pity? It is excessive self-absorption of unhappiness over one’s troubles. It’s not a feeling but a judgment — not a temporary one but permanent.
It is a cycle of misery, an automatic defense mechanism, and addictive pleasure.
Research suggests it correlates with stigmas of lower self-esteem, hopelessness, and subordination.
Sadly, so far, scant empirical research has been carried out for this trait — a subject that reportedly promotes depression facets like loneliness and problematic behaviors.
Mentally strong ones never pity themselves; without question, they know it is self-destructive.
Signs
Let’s meet Mrs. Grinch.
With a hopeless expression, Mrs. Grinch shuts the alarm every day. The moment she swings the bristle of her toothbrush to and fro, ruminations attack her. Nodding in approval of how her problems are worse than anyone else’s, she sets the tone of the day. When sipping her espresso, she self-talks how her problems add at a much faster rate than anyone else’s and how others are oblivious to the harshness of life. She then scrolls through her phone and cancels all her outing plans, so she can stay at home — to think more of her problems. When night finally falls, she calls her loved one to tell what went wrong the whole day, to explain how the world is out to get her, and to blame others for her failed experiences.
Resonate with any of it? It is a sign of self-pity.
Causes of developing self-pity
Self-pity acts as a defense mechanism against future dangers.
It’s a great justification, liberating us from taking the blame upon ourselves.
Self-pity guards one against others’ expectations — one gets least expected from, which is nothing but another way of avoiding responsibility.
Effects
Self-pity prevents one from looking good in life, from dealing with messed-up emotions.
Coming through as an unattractive characteristic, self-pity owns the capability of interfering with relationships — as victim mentality, without doubt, annoys everyone.
How to beat self-pity
A couple of years back, when life forced me to live by taking away my dad, I quickly fell prey to self-pity. But — instantly detested the feeling.
To remove it permanently, I verged on a new journey and took some measures.
1- Hunt worthy causes
I was not mentally-strong but strove to get rid of obsessive self-pity by volunteering.
I joined a non-profit organization near my locality, visited hospitals, random streets — what not?
I even sat on overhead bridges.
Talked to the less fortunate. Earned a significant realization — I was blessed. Wiping the tears of others helped me dry mine.
Refuse self-pity creeping into your life by performing small random acts of kindness because life is all about little things — small joyous moments that add meaning to casual days.
2- Spot behavioral acts
Interestingly, changing the “subject” when dealing with self-pity helps.
Ask yourself what advice will you give to others in trouble — trust me, you will be astonished by the encouraging words leaving your mouth.
I remember meeting an old lady on the street.
She was sitting all alone, lost in her thoughts. Sniffing the unusual, I opened up to her and, likewise, she did to me.
She had lost her brother a week before — terribly, last goodbyes were never said.
I kept telling her — this shall too pass, a piece of advice which I should have given, quite early on, to myself. So, remember you have all the wisdom within you.
3- Befriend gratitude
Did you ever frown when advised of “gratitude”? I did. It is hard — challenging to thank in the horrifying situation that pulled the ground off your feet.
But hearing from others reminded me of the areas which deserve gratitude in my life.
Ask others what they are grateful for and realize other unnoticed everyday blessings.
Practicing gratitude blew a fresh perspective in my mind.
As instead of complaining about why God took my father super early, I realized, at least, I got to live with the best person for 20 priceless years of my life.
So, remember to exchange self-pity with gratitude. See beyond the shadows of self-pity by keeping a gratitude journal.
To experience gratitude, one needs to put in an extra effort, acknowledge every microscopic generosity, identify small acts of kindness, affirm every goodness this world possesses — and, most importantly, appreciate every single breath.
In a nutshell
I know misery loves the company of self-pity.
But I also know what happiness loves — it loves when we make a conscious choice towards it.
Remember, living every day with joy is a conscious choice. Refusing to behave pitifully is a choice.
Embracing gratitude is a choice.
To assist such decisions, one needs to flip old behavior patterns and sink into some new ones.
Without question, sorrow spares none — and it is our reaction to such situations that make us mentally healthy.
2. How to be emotionally strong: Do not shy away from change
It’s not that some people have willpower and some don’t. . . It’s that some people are ready to change, and others are not. — JAMES GORDON
Mentally strong people never avoid the thoughts of change — neither do they allow emotions to dictate excuses to overpower and negative aspects of adaptation to overshadow.
Signs
Mrs. Grinch also shies away from making changes in her daily routine and behaviors. All her bad habits, according to her, aren’t that bad. The thought of even the slightest change alarms her of anxiety. The changes make her uncomfortable, as she thinks they won’t, anyway, last long.
Causes of fearing change
Change is overwhelming, uncomfortable, and risky.
We lack enough motivation for positive change.
Giving up is easy; changing sounds like a commitment.
Effects
Stagnancy in personal growth coupled with the toll on health.
Lack of change invites monotony in life, welcoming the air of depression.
One remains stuck in the loop of bad habits.
Interestingly, others outgrow, leaving you in the same old rut–miles away from success.
How to change?
After my dad, I changed my career from computer science to communication and design. It did bring uncomfortable emotions — choosing to do something different required me to adopt new thinking and behavior.
But I tried my best not to shy away. What helped me manage such a change?
1- Ponder reasons to change
I deeply examined the reasons to change — the ultimate motivation. So remember, creating a list of pros to change can become a motivational pivot.
Analyzing the potential consequences to change compared to staying the same can help one make wiser decisions.
2- Act from the present
I acted from the state of my result, of being a successful designer, and mirrored an ideal future self in the present. Remember, behaving like the person you want to become can help you take a proactive lead in becoming that person.
For instance, if you wish to have more friends, ask yourself if you are ready to be more friendly?
In a nutshell
Mentally strong people invite behavioral and routine changes.
Any change is not easy to achieve — not because we are lazy, but because it fears us with the unknown. But if we affirm, no fear can overpower.
3. How to be emotionally strong: Do not fear alone time
“If you learn to really sit with loneliness and embrace it for the gift that it is…an opportunity to get to know YOU, to learn how strong you really are, to depend on no one but YOU for your happiness…you will realize that a little loneliness goes a LONG way in creating a richer, deeper, more vibrant and colorful YOU.” ― Mandy Hale
Mentally healthy people have alone time on their priority list — and to them, instead of being scary, such a time seems a fun outlet.
These people don’t fear alone time and feel the need to take time out of busy schedules and think.
Contrary to the prevalent association of alone time being unproductive, a 2000 study called “Cognitive Stimulation in Brainstorming” proved how spending time in solitude boosts productivity.
Mental strong people have their thoughts sorted, thus experiencing a lower depression rate. A 1990 study called “The solitary side of life: An examination of the time people spend alone from childhood to old age” proves how fifth to ninth graders who spent moderate amounts of time alone were less likely to exhibit behavioral problems.
Signs
Mrs. Grinch has been after her doctor to prescribe sleep medications. At night, waves of thoughts float across her mind. Her nerves explode and backaches, for she remains awake for hours, inspecting thoughts. Flashbacks conquer her mind, posing a question of what she could have done better instead. Following the flashbacks, the ghost of the future enters her thoughts, worrying her about milestones to conquer. She hates nighttime — as rumination awaits her.
Mrs.Grinch is not mentally healthy, as her night time overlaps with her alone time. Her ruminations at night are like that rocking chair that keeps swinging without reaching any destination.
Causes of fearing alone time
Equating alone time with loneliness is a significant cause of fearing it. When growing their children up, parents lock their kids into their room and set a curfew of not letting them out to play — building up a negative image of being alone since then. Alone time becomes a punishment. No doubt assail that a long period of extreme isolation is unhealthy. However, due to its negative correlation, even the shorter period seems unpleasant.
The overbooked calendar seems fancy and productive — offering a feeling of being someone important. The number of phone calls you receive and “things to do” you decide your spot on the success ladder.
Thinking is dull. Mentally-less strong people consider thinking fruitless, so the tiniest escape from work to them means a mindless engagement on social media, text messages, or random calls.
Effects
If you’ll consider alone time as a waste during the day, then it forcefully makes its way to your mind when you’ll crawl into your bed — at that particular instance, the thoughts, for sure, do nothing but waste your time. Not spending time with yourself, like Mrs. Grinch, steals your sleeping time and haunts you at night.
Not spending time with yourself puts you under stress.
How to befriend alone time?
Dedicating thinking time during the day is the most empowering act one can perform to improve life quality. Here is what helped me:
1- Deconstruct yourself
I was sick of analyzing my surroundings and research papers in my studies. So, I journal away my thoughts to deconstruct myself and understand my emotions — it did wonders for my mental health.
Transferring all my thoughts on paper helped me with solutions — the ones no therapist would have given. Your brains know you, and you do not, yet, know this.
2- Plan a date
I intentionally plan out alone time — it is always on my to-do list. Interestingly, a 2011 research study titled “An Exercise to Teach the Psychological Benefits of Solitude: The Date with the Self” concluded a decent number of participants felt serenity and calmness in conscious solitude.
So intentionally schedule such an alone time to appreciate silence, at least once a month.
In a nutshell:
Tolerating alone time means conquering restoration, satisfaction, and happiness.
Creating time to be alone with your thoughts can be a powerful experience, instrumental in helping you reach your goals.
Get out of this perpetuating cycle of nighttime racing thoughts, like mentally strong people, by befriending alone time during the day. Remember, solitude is choosing to be alone with your thoughts.
Final words for How to be emotionally strong:
Having seen 3 strategies for How to be emotionally strong do this: If you were to use a mental toughness slider for yourself, where will you land up? You probably would not have an exact answer. And interestingly, you are not even supposed to have one.
Because every person is like a leg: some are stronger bones than the others — but apply enough pressure, they too break.
This example shows mental strength is not about the comparison of who is stronger but about self-realization.
Mentally strong people do self-pity, resist change, fear alone time — but they do not stay in the loop of these 3 characteristics for too long.
Jumping off at the right time is the key.

Announcing... Positively Present on Patreon!
For years, I've been working solo on Positively Present, and I absolutely love what I do, but I've been looking for ways to expand on my work and on the Positively Present community. Like many who create primarily online, I've struggled a lot with friction between wanting to create and share and not feeling as if my work is valued (and, in some cases, stolen, even by large companies).
The world of online creating is still a bit like the wild west. We're all trying to learn the rules, to figure out how we can consume and share and create in thoughtful, productive, and rewarding ways. A lot of online creators choose to run advertisements or work with brands. I've done these (and may continue to do so), but, at times, it feels disingenuous. Even if I love a brand or product, it's turning me into a salesperson when I'm a creator. I want to make things you like and I want to be able to afford to do it, and I don't want to have to sell you random stuff you don't need (even if it's my own stuff!) in order to do so.
I'm not the only creator who feels this way. Luckily, someone came up with the awesome idea for Patreon.
WHAT IS PATREON?
Patreon is a membership platform that allows patrons (people like you) support creators (people like me) while getting access to exclusive benefits. What I love about it is that it's a direct relationship between the creator and the patron. It's a way to show creators that you value their work and to support those who spend their lives trying to make the world a better place online.
Creators set up a series of tiers and the more a patron contributes each month, the more rewards s/he receives. You can see the various tiers (starting at just $1/month!) on the right hand side of this page. Basically, it's like this: you pay a set amount each month and you get access to cool things you wouldn't otherwise see.
WHO IS PATREON FOR?
Every creator's Patreon platform is unique, but, for Positively Present, Patreon is for...
People who love Positively Present and want to support my work
People who want to support writing and art in general
People who don't want ads or sponsorships interfering with content
People who want behind-the-scenes looks at what I'm working on
People who want access to exclusive digital content
People who want to contribute ideas and inspiration for Positively Present
People who want to download Positively Present artwork
People who long to learn more about creativity and digital art
People who get something valuable out of daily (free!) posts
WHERE CAN I LEARN MORE?
If you've never heard of Patreon before, you might be like, Wait. What is this? I still don't get it. Don't worry! You can learn more about it by checking out the Patreon page or my FAQ post. And, of course, you can reach out to me via email if there's anything you want to know more about!
I've been hard at work setting this up, but it's still a work-in-progress, so stay tuned for updates (and even more rewards for each tier!) coming soon. I know the idea of directly supporting a creator might sound odd at first, because it's still relatively new, but the digital landscape is changing and more and more of what we use and consume is going to be online. If you are regularly consuming something you enjoy — whether it be a piece of digital art or a piece of delicious cake — you should want to compensate the person who created it. Yes, it feels like you get content for free, but nothing is really free. There's a give-and-take for everything. If you're consuming something that someone else worked hard on without ever giving something back, that leads to an imbalance that puts a lot of pressure on the creator.
The creator either has sell you a product (which can be great, but isn't ideal in a world where we all have so much stuff or where people have come to love the digital work and don't necessarily want things), sell an ad for another product (leading to the same problem of more consumption and/or the often icky feeling that comes with selling things randomly -- take note of all of the creators pushing Audible or Skillshare...), or sell a service (which isn't always doable or reasonable to expect of someone who already has a job creating content on a daily basis).
The more creators have to balance advertising, sponsorships, brand deals, etc., the less time they have creating content that you really love and find valuable. When you join a creator's Patreon, you'll have access to extra cool rewards and a community of people who love the same stuff you do. Plus, you become a real-life patron of the arts, which, let's be honest, just sounds fun and fancy!
I've been so excited working on this for the past few weeks and I'm so excited that it's now going live! If you have any questions / comments / etc., let me know in the comments below or via email!

Appearing before the Dramacourt: Man to Man Ep 02
***If this is your first time browsing The Drama Files, please read The Rules section first for our reviewing and rating system***
Issues:
Whether job interviews should include horoscope compatibility questions
Whether the best way to wake up non morning people is to build a homemade IED
Whether the subway scene with the random Black guy was okay
Whether the fight for chicken was reasonable
Whether Cha Do Ha is even necessary for this drama
Whether Mo Seung-Jae and Song Mi-Eun are in an unhealthy marriage
The Rule(s):
No! Interviews should be about a person’s work experiences.
Dangerously yes.
No. They totally didn’t need to make the Black actor seem like a sketchy person and freak out over his appearance at a subway. Slightly racist vibes here . . .
Yes, oh, yes! When you’re on a diet and you’re craving chicken or some snack . . . you’ll do anything for it!
Absolutely not. There should only be bromance in this drama.
Yes! He seems to be a very manipulative, controlling husband.
Analysis:
Jubiemon J: Man x Man’s episode two was interesting and fun despite a few negative parts! I enjoyed the comedic scenes like the ones that poked fun at celebrities’ lives and an overused running scene with the two leads in Korean rom coms. I laughed pretty hard when I saw Woon Gwang doing all he could to get his chicken. Honestly, I think people who are on diets can understand his pain. (You also sympathise with the celebrities we see who have to diet to get that ideal body. Pretty sure managers do control and limit their snacks or what not like in this drama.) I also really liked how we are getting to know Woon Gwang as a character through Sulwoo’s observations as a spy. Sulwoo is an expert at reading characters, so it’s easy for us to believe his description of Woon Gwang.
Rockin those shades brah
All the bromance
Jubiemon J: Now the bad parts to this drama . . . The political scenes were again dry, but luckily they weren’t terribly long like in Whisper or the Defendant. I understand that they are necessary to get the plot going, but I feel like the comedic scenes are far more memorable than the dark back drop. I actually think if they had gone with some evil mastermind or the leader of some group like in the movie Spy, that’d be better. Somehow this political part just . . . feels overdone now that so many Kdramas are taking a stab at it. (I get that there have been some political issues in Korea, so that’s probably why the Kdramas are sticking to showcasing corruption. However, when so many of them are doing this . . . the message gets lost, I think . . . especially when you start mixing genres together like comedy.)
Legit no one cares
Profiling your boss like…
Jubiemon J: That political section doesn’t bother me THAT much because this drama does try to minimize the scenes. What bothers me the most is the character, Cha Do Ha. Her existence is a huge setback to this drama. There’s no need for romance here or her whiny attitude when Sulwoo is just focused on the mission. Yes, I get that in spy films, the male spies generally have some femme fatale, but honestly . . . this drama could have put a better comedic spin to this. They made her into a hormone-filled cringey fan girl who keeps raging at Sulwoo or trying to act all cutsey around Woong Gwang who clearly sees her as a good employee/fan girl. Not to mention, they gave her the worst haircut that’s uneven. I can’t even call it asymmetrical because it wasn’t supposed to be like that type of haircut. Her haircut is like the meme with the cat with the green pomelo hat. I just can’t take it. (Look at the poorly cut ends. Man. Cringe.)
RedRosette J: I was raving about the first episode because it had all the spy stuff going for it and in this episode the spy stuff took a back seat while the characters figured out how they fit into the plot with each other. Like Jubiemon said, the running on the highway montage in the PJs was absolutely hilarious, as was the Chicken Run. This drama seems to do really well with the comedic aspects of spy-action. Like Jubiemon, I too am tired of the politics in kdramas lately. It’s over done and seems unnecessary. I tended to zone out and skip the politics scenes.
That being said, Park Haejin is doing a stellar job with Sulwoo. The character comes off as a closed person who doesn’t really show his cards and is an enigma to everyone else in the drama, but with his handler, he is a totally different, vivacious, boyish guy who loves to do normal things like play video games. Park Haejin really portrays the duality of a spy’s life really well. And just as much as he is a great actor, Kim Min Jung, unfortunately falls short. Like Jubiemon said, the acting is over the top, cringey and just annoying. It was fine (for me at least) in the first episode where she didn’t have much screen time, but when she was cooing and squealing every few minutes it got very old, very fast. I feel like she’s over doing the ‘carefree’ aspect of the character to show how different Do Ha’s character is from Sulwoo so their personalities stand out in stark contrast when on screen, but come on. Does she have to be so cringey?
My one criticism of this episode is the ending speeding car chase. I find it hard to believe that someone with Sulwoo’s super spy skills failed to realize beforehand that the stunt car was tampered with! Not to mention, he saw the guy tamper with the car and leave, yet he did nothing to stop Woon Gwang from getting in the car! Yes he was being held back by Do Ha, but we’ve established that she’s barely a real obstacle so….Yes, Yes, its because they wanted to include a fancy shmancy car chase scene but I found it really hard to believe given the info we were fed about his super skills up until that point!
When you got sass coming out of your eyes
LOL this guy!

Ugh!

Issue 1: Whether job interviews should include horoscope compatibility questions
RedRosette J: So I get that this was supposed to be for comedic effect, but I think that her annoying demeanor totally turned me off. If it was supposed to be a funny interview, I just wasn’t sold on it. That being said, being asked horoscope compatibility questions at a job interview, while it would be totally funny, it would not be productive to either parties. I really didn’t understand the point of this scene, except that she was trying to grill him and make him feel uncomfortable, but what really ended up happening was me skipping the scene because I got annoyed. Although I will say that it would be kind of nice to be asked a funny question at the end of a formal interview!
RedRosette J Aside: The weirdest interview question I’ve ever been asked is: ‘if you could be a phone, what phone would you be?
Jubiemon J: I too understand this was supposed to be for fun, but I was really annoyed at how she was doing that for the sake of getting rid of him. I still don’t really get how he offended her. She was the one that first rudely went up and assumed he was paparazzi and deleted his photos. Sure, she is supposed to be the one that points out that Sulwoo is suspicious, but her character just is set up in a way that makes it seem like she’s interfering with his mission in a totally unfunny manner.
Jubiemon J Aside: The weirdest interview question I”ve been asked would be: “Who is a figure that you hate and why?” To answer RedRosette’s interview question, I would have been a total troll and said your phone.
When the interview is not going as planned
Real qualifications people should be looking for
Issue 2: Whether the best way to wake up non morning people is to build a homemade IED
RedRosette J: I am not a morning person and I have such trouble waking up, but yea I think someone hanging a homemade IED in front of my face would wake me up so fast, it would probably be a world record! This scene was one of my favourites from this episode. Sulwoo has some serious swag man….casually building IEDs in the bathroom and what not.
Jubiemon J: Personally, I never understood the issues with getting up because I’ve never been the sort to sleep in. That being said, I also dislike mornings. Regardless, I do know of people who struggle to get up in the mornings, so this IED Sulwoo made would definitely be effective!
How to wake people up 101
That’s how its done peeps
Issue 3: Whether the subway scene with the random Black guy was okay
RedRosette J: At first this scene was funny. Then they introduced the random Black guy and it became not funny real fast. I didn’t appreciate how they made this guy into a sketchy person and had Woon Gwang freak out when he saw him. Just because he’s Black doesn’t mean he’s a bad guy. People really need to stop these archaic associations of blackness with evil. Honestly. It’s really not funny. Please stop. #notimpressed
Jubiemon J: I also didn’t like how this drama inserted this scene as well. However, I have to say that based on my experiences in some bigger cities in Asia like Taipei or Tokyo, people do sometimes get surprised or shocked when they see a Black person. A lot of times it’s because these areas are very homogeneous for their population, so they’ve never seen a Black person. I can understand with the surprise that comes to that or genuine curiosity about another culture; however, I still don’t like how in this drama, everyone’s response seemed to be more out of the fearful type of surprise like they were freaked that the Black guy might hurt Woon Gwang.
The only thing that they did right later was when Sulwoo was explaining to Do Ha how he never let Woon Gwang into some danger zone during that scene were she was bitching at him at a restaurant. Sulwoo didn’t mention the Black guy as a threat at all and talked about getting rid of the drunk, Korean guy who was coming at Woon Gwang. I’d like to think that in this case, the Black Guy’s presence was also to show the difference between Woon Gwang and Sulwoo. Sulwoo doesn’t identify someone as being a threat based on their race; he’s not racist at all. Woon Gwang, on the other hand, seems to have lived in a bubble and based on his action, he either hasn’t interacted much with other cultures or may be racist. Either way . . . I think this drama would have been better without this Black Guy scene.
Issue 4: Whether the fight for chicken was reasonable
RedRosette J: This scene had me laughing so much. By far the best scene in the episode. They actually made Woon Gwang’s Chicken Run into a spy-action sequence. Absolutely hilarious and totally believable. People will go to extreme lengths to eat fatty, greasy foods when on “diets”! The best part about it was the whole “romance in the alley” type scene with Woon Gwang and Sulwoo fighting for the drumstick. If this was any other kdrama, it would have been a perfect set up for a accidental kiss while fighting for a drumstick! LOL!
Jubiemon J: This Chicken Run was the best! Okay that hand-holding part was hilarious too. I loved both equally. I do think this shows very well the feelings that people get when they’re going through a diet! You definitely have cravings of junk food and there are times when you absolutely must eat that something. I totally pity the celebrities who have to go through great lengths to get whatever body they’re achieving. Mad props to them. I really enjoyed the bromance the two shared while bonding over this Chicken Run. I’m absolutely sure Sulwoo would have given Woon Gwang that drumstick had Do Ha hadn’t barged in. Ha!
Chicken for days
Ain’t nothing as sacred as this drumstick boi
Behold the power of the drumstick!
Issue 5: Whether Cha Do Ha is even necessary for this drama
RedRosette J: TBH, I really liked the parts of the drama where Cha Do Ha wasn’t in and when she wasn’t talking. The character really doesn’t seem to do much to advance the plot except be “cute” except that she’s not cute because it’s (as we said before) extremely cringey and ridiculous to see a grown ass woman behaving like this. Unless the character gets a major overhaul and stops being cringey, I am unlikely to become her fan anytime soon. I would be perfectly happy with Park Hae Jin and Park Sung Woong’s bromance thank you very much.
Jubiemon J: No, she’s not necessary for this drama. I too enjoyed the scenes where she doesn’t interfere with Sulwoo’s mission. People should start a game where they drink whatever whenever they hear her say something like “I want to talk to you Sulwoo”. I swear within this episode, we’ve heard that line repeated at least four times? We’ve mentioned numerous times about why she has been cringey, so I’m not going to be repetitive here. I also don’t think a full-on love plot would serve this drama well. Sulwoo’s character honestly doesn’t feel like the type that’d fall for her. Perhaps the goal was for him to fall for someone so not within his usual type that it’d be funny. Unfortunately, I’m having trouble seeing an obsessive, borderline sassaeng with a cool spy.
What is this? -_-
That’s how we feel every time Do Ha starts squealing -_-
This is very much a big brother-little sister vibe
Dumbest plan ever
Exactly what we think
Issue 6: Whether Mo Seung-Jae and Song Mi-Eun are in an unhealthy marriage
RedRosette J: As I said before, I don’t really care for these two characters. I’m totally over this whole rich chaebol married couples who play political mind games with each other like some twisted foreplay scenario that most dramas seem to have lately. Honestly. I really don’t care for these two. He seems like a psycho and she seems to be just as evil. Whatever. Ugh.
Jubiemon J: Though I don’t care that much about these characters like RedRosette, I still think it’s important to point out that they are in a very unhealthy relationship. I do like how it is realistic for this drama to portray that the seemingly perfect marriage to the outside world is really not so perfect. Often we only see the perfect side of some relationship because people only share the best sides on social media. We think all those people are in perfect, glowy relationships, but that might not always be true.
Song Mi Eun seems to have sacrificed love to marry for the rich, at least so far it’s portrayed that way. It might be darker than that like Mo Seung Jae blackmailing to hurt Woon Gwang if she continued to be with him. We already saw that Seung Jae hired someone to mess with Woon Gwang’s car just because his son was saying how Woon Gwang as a superhero was the best and that he’d watch that movie a lot with his mom. I wouldn’t be surprised if he was the one behind Woon Gwang’s previous stunt accident in a car as well.
Seung Jae really is dangerous and way too controlling. Mi Eun can’t even act like herself in front of him, it seems. She always has to seem like the perfect woman and be careful with how she phrases words. It’s clear she still has some lingering feelings for Woon Gwang because she tries to make sure Woon Gwang’s career is successful and tries to convince her husband to invest in his movie. Obviously her husband isn’t stupid and sees through her seemingly innocent business venture. That’s why he says he’s fine with giving pity money, but not with the . . . son fanboying over Woon Gwang as a super hero. This relationship would have been healthier if Seung Jae just communicated to her his jealousy. He just needed Woon Gwang to be gone instead. Ugh. No.
Conclusion: Appeal Allowed.
Rating: 3 = MM. Okay. Fine. (Mostly because we don’t like Kim Min Jung’s character and the draggy political plot. Jubiemon J remark: I don’t hate that political part that, that much since the drama did try to minimize the scenes. They should employ that with Kim Min Jung’s character too. Cut her character out.)
