Eris's father--one of the genius scientists aboard the doomed SEA MAUVILLE--was a massive space obsessive and sci-fi nerd. Eris never really got into Star Wars. But, one summer day, while her father was again abroad in Hoenn (lame), she snuck into his home office and got into his collection of films dubbed 'the classics.'

And that is how Eris saw ALIEN at a way too young age. She watched the whole movie, eyes wide, spellbound. It was amazing.

The woman formerly known as JUPITER has always had a way with words, and Interpol was so desperate for any crumb of information surrounding Galactic's operations. It was a pathetic display, really...she had the hot-headed interrogators wrapped around her finger in a matter of minutes.

While she kept her closest colleagues' involvement under wraps (you're welcome, Mars & Saturn), Jupiter was more than happy to spoon-feed the police Charon's reputation along with other juicy Galactic secrets. For a price, of course. (Interpol was so hungry, so hasty, that they readily agreed to the former Commander's terms without thinking twice. They snapped up every morsel that she fed them, unaware that they just freed a monster with simple strokes of a pen.)

Consequences? Jupiter, now ERIS EVANS, doesn't know--and has never--known them.

"Why engage with a Pokemon so recklessly when you can just tranquilize it from a distance instead?" Eris delicately holds up a vial of clouded liquid between two fingers. It clings sluggishly to the sides of the tube.

"The current mixture contains several Shroomish spores, a careful mixture of potent sleep powders, and a dash of rare Hopo Berry extract. Specially ordered," she details with a proud smile. "A working formula, of course--I'm still tinkering with the ratios--but effective enough for a long, restful sleep..."

ooc. While it's never been a focus on any of my blogs, I'm pretty open when it comes to shipping!! I have my ship biases (don't we all) but over the years, I've had lots of unexpected ships set sail with OCs or random fandom characters--as long as the chemistry is there, vibes are right, and you don't mind me being slow and writing long, it's all good. 😊

Of course, I'm going to avoid ships with gaps in age/power dynamic. I'm also going to stay away from shipping with Cyrus on this blog (thanks past awful experiences...!) and Lance over on Clair's blog (to those who have asked over the years: they're cousins.) This doesn't mean that I won't interact with those characters or explore different dynamics, I just prefer not to ship them!

Whether it's shipping, BFFs, mortal enemies, sparring rivals or another funky fresh dynamic: I love exploring different kinds of relationships by building them up with small interactions over time. I'm super happy with what I've created with others so far, but I'm always ready to develop those relationships further while also exploring new dynamics of all kinds. Come here!!

(sorry for popping off on the dash tonight--I get to do it just this once as a treat--but IMO Cyrus doesn’t get enough respect for convincing his commanders--with their brilliant minds and big egos--to pursue his vision all while working alongside each other. 

I find that most teams in Pokemon seem to canonically stick together or just vanish after game events, but I always found it funny how the commanders immediately split up after Cyrus disappears. He truly was the only person able to hold all of them together...)

(also credit to Charon for valiantly attempting to rally the troops at Stark Mountain, even if Jupiter and Mars literally walk out on him for not being a good leader like Cyrus. Sorry Charon. :/)
